National Defence Academy Course

The National Defence Academy (NDA) is the Indian Armed Forces' joint defence service training institute, where cadets from the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force train together before proceeding to their respective service academy for further pre-commission training. Ouch, that hurt. However, you probably did look a clown, so this valuable piece of feedback just prevented you from unwanted embarrassment.

Try to imagine a world without any form of feedback or evaluation. What do you think it would look like? Would the world be a prosperous place? Would the technology exist that we have now? Without feedback and evaluation, growth cannot occur. Teaching often requires reflection, reflection of your own self, or from workplace peers, and even your students. In PDHPE, feedback is essential for students needing to develop the tools (such as understanding of syllabus and content to correctly answering questions) to successfully progress through the stages, preparing them for stage 6. Feedback and evaluation are important for PDHPE teachers as well so that we can learn what the students need help with, areas they can improve. Teachers should also provide opportunities for the students to evaluate and supply feedback for the teacher that can better develop the teachers’ abilities. This 360 feedback is important because it allows a stronger connection to the classrooms needs for both the teacher and students. This can be utilised in PDHPE if the teacher allocates time at the end of a class or unit, and just have students write down some comments about areas the teacher excelled in, areas that could be improved, and what was most helpful for learning.

A PDHPE teacher must have a good understanding of their content. For example, in a physical class, the teacher must have a good understanding of sporting techniques so that they may be able to evaluate a student’s technique and provide useful feedback that will improve their performance.

Dance is the medium through which anyone can articulate ideas and express themselves as they convey the message through these movements. Dance has six main elements which are involved in the process of dancing. We might not realise these elements while dancing initially, but as we dig deep, we will find they are always there. It is involved in the primary school curriculum as a creative arts subject for all age groups and stages.

Learning in Dance:

Dance is involved in the curriculum for the children to engage in the experience, develop trust and confidence, develop cohesion and focus on the purpose of dancing. So, the teachers establish effective dance plans to teach and assess them. The children learn to use their body as the instrument and movement as the medium of dance. The children use dance to explore, organise, and refine movements for choreography and performance. With an effective program, the children develop their movement vocabulary and use their knowledge to develop their technical skills and aesthetic understanding.

The role of the teacher in this learning process is to have a clear purpose of the experience, planning effective dance experiences which support in engaging students in a safe way to build confidence, trust, build cohesion and focus in the learning experience. Teachers can use different props as stimuli for the children to express ideas and expression through dance. The teachers can use dance to teach cross-curriculum subjects like science, maths, history, culture, and spirituality. A candidate must prepare the following subjects for the Military Nursing Service Written Examination:

There is no such trick and way to clear the exam, focus and dedication is the key to beat the competition, the exam is easy, but the competition is tough. You will have to prepare your preparation slightly more than other candidates.

This is an online computer-based exam, so it can be difficult for us as we have always solved the questions or given the exam on the papers, but this is not the case here; you have to prepare yourself for the online exam.

MNS Preparation Tips

The exam day guidelines will be mentioned on the Indian Army B.Sc Nursing and Information Brochure. Candidates should read the exam day guidelines properly to avoid cancellation of candidature. Some guidelines are given in the following points:

·        Candidates should carry the Indian Army B.Sc Nursing 2021 Admit Card with them and paste a passport size photo on it, failing to not be allowed to go to the examination hall.

·        The use of improper means will be strictly dealt with, and legal action can also be taken against the authorities’ candidate.

·        Since the MNS Admit Card will have the details of the examination center allotted to the nursing aspirants, they must visit the examination center one day before the examination, thereby avoiding wasting time finding the next examination center.

MNS Preparation Tips – Selection Process

Nursing candidates who have passed the Indian Army B.Sc Nursing the authorities will call the 2021 entrance exam for personal interviews and medical examinations.

·        Candidates will receive a call letter for personal interviews on their registered mail ID. After the details are mentioned in the call letter, they must keep a printout of it and report it to the incident site.

·        If required, candidates may have to stay in the hospital for more than one day for medical examination. Although the officers will pay traveling Allowance and Dearness Allowance, it is advised that candidates keep sufficient funds to keep in mind the process.

·        The candidates have to select their preferred college in order of priority from the six colleges listed below.

MNS Preparation Tips – Score Approved by Colleges

Six colleges in the country accept the marks obtained in the Indian Army B.Sc Nursing 2021 examination; they are as follows:

·        Armed Forces Medical College Pune

·        Command Hospital (Eastern Command) Kolkata

·        INHS Ashwini

·        Army Hospital (Research and Referral) New Delhi

·        Command Hospital (Central Command) Lucknow

·        Command Hospital Air Force Bangalore

Candidates will be reimbursed for the arrival and departure train fares for the second class train as Travelling Allowance. In the event of tickets being booked at concessional rates, those rates will be applicable for reimbursement. Candidates must submit the Travelling Allowance and Dearness Allowance claims to the Commanding Officer of that place where their interview was conducted. The amount will be reimbursed once the claims are audited.
