Homestuck Secret Santa for @davepepsisprite for HSSS 2023

They asked for "CD/DD (carapacians..)" and "please no humanstuck/humanizations," hopefully this fits the bill :D

This is the first time that I have tried differentiating carapacian bodytypes with this bauplan, and I think it came out well! CD is in general shrunk, but also has a shorter skirt, thicker segments, a bigger head, and 2 fewer torso sections (the diamonds and their associated crowns).

And I FINALLY have something approaching done wrt the arms; though I think I'll end up fiddling with the hands a bit more since being able to manipulate the cards they're holding with only 3 digits seems difficult.

Overall, I am happy with this piece and I am glad that @davepepisprite prompted it. Happy holidays! :D

Clubs Deuce - okay this one is erm kinda obvious,, Deuce and explosives are a given combo. CD wears a lot of silly hats so he gets to keep his hat

Hearts Boxcars - he's a safecracker guy. so why not a safe for a head?

Diamonds Droog - looked at that one flash where gramophone appears and decided it fits actually. fancy little thingy , sipping a cup of coffee and not worrying about time passing. that sure him alright

Spades Slick - Knives would be way too obvious so I settled on a map! specifically of Midnight City [Well it wasnt of that at first, I guess the change could be somewhat cosidered like getting a tattoo?] . SS sorta made this city so I think thats fitting. And marked locations are directly connected with midnight's crew mob bussiness

How do you think the different Agents (you know, DD, HB, CD, maybe AR) would act/rule if they were to [S] Ascend with a fully prototypes Queen’s ring?

We semi-saw that with DD, he seems like the diligent type to just, Get Shit Done. CD would be a complete DISASTER on the other hand, the most frivolous laws and silly things and no one can really stop that from happening. HB... AR seems like, close to DD on the 'diligent' end but he's like, a lot more of a dumbass and a lot more law-oriented. HB on the other hand is like. probably the hardest one? He's got that goon energy. He's a real lackey-type. I don't see him LEADING and being Super Powerful being too interesting. X3
