New Shit and Recap w/ Cookie Castle

Worldbuilding/Lore:

+ The world build is the same with PT where food people just exist , except they're based on sweet pastries/baked goods instead of savory + In this au, Peppino didn't retire in showbiz which made Noise be the one who quits in acting since Chef Raider, now Captain Raider is a name that cannot be beat + Theo opens up a bakeshop since it's his second choice job + Pieface/Gingernick (CC Pizzaface/Pizzahead) does not get the hint that Theo wants out and pranks Theo and his shop. Theo's got an anger issue instead of an anxiety issue so he pranks the Castle back + The "events of the game" starts when Theo got told by Pieface about this "legendary prank" that's actually covering the entire bakeshop with a giant pie + Theo then gets a reason to really RUIN that damn Castle

Theo Noise & Hazel Nette

+ In PT (and my hc to clarify), Noisette didn't come around at the start of Noise's career, she was hired after three as The Noise's girlfriend to spice things up. In CC, Theo quits during his second year, then met, hired, and actually dated Hazel a few months after opening his shop + Theo is a baker to complement his Mexican aspect of himself + Theo kept most of his equipment from NTV and steadily improves them himself + He invented Hazel's rocket skates (her Brick) but they're a prototype so Hazel's development in each wing (Towers have floors, Castles have wings) has something to do with getting used to her skates + Peppino is a time bomb while Theo is a more bark less bite. He may be a coward deep down but he is more fiery than afraid + Hazel applied for baker but hired as deliveries

Cam M. Bert

+ The Vigilante swapped with Pepperman + Cheese slimes are cream cheeses, all of them are as dumb as their og counterpart EXCEPT Bert who is smarter like his og counterpart + He believes he is a work of art, a living painting so he is "honoring his people" + Pepperman masters in self portraits, Bert forte's in landscapes + He wants none of this shit. Bert isn't a security guard or hired by anyone, he just so happens to live near the entrance and gets affected when Theo strikes back + His work covers most of the south wing and he only is a boss because he was blocking the way to the key while painting something + Bert is mostly calm but when he gets pissed off, traces of Vigi will be seen more in him + Unlike Pepperman, Bert only knows how to paint. In his version of American Pepperman, he would be traveling to see what real landscape looks like + Bert's boss fight does not have him attacking, he would be trying to get away from Theo, throw stuff at him or to block where he is, and sometimes he calls the cops for help (instead of the cowboys in Vigi's fight, it would be the sausage and burger cop from McPig's old game but the sausage is an eclair and the burger is a donut) + He can be found in the west wing painting a desert but he'll turn around and give Theo a stink eye when approached

The Perpetrator

+ Pepperman swapped with The Vigilante + He is now a green caramelized apple for contrast to stick him out of the orange setting + Perpi is a classic western scoundrel to opposite with Vigi being a hero and he loves the attention he gets from it (he smiles in his mugshots) + Pepperman has big guns (arms) while Perpetrator has big guns (shotguns) + His legal name is still Mel Caraman + The battle arena is a real town instead of a stageplay + Perpi will not sit and wait for Theo to pick the gun up, he will roll his eyes and start the fight (music syncs with it) + Vigi will stay in place when he shoots, Perpi will run to Theo and there will be a short window of time to dodge before he pulls the trigger. He will be damaged until he is vulnerable (reloading after two or four shots). Trying to touch him when not reloading will damage Theo instead + He loses one of his shotguns in the second phase. He will reload more but he will do it faster + The end of the fight is a similar silhouette shot, Perpetrator knocks Theo's gun out of his hands and points his last shotgun to him. Text will appear at the top "End of the line..." but they are not brought down as stage props + Perpetrator will pull the trigger but he's completely ran out of ammo (he shoots two loads in his intro animation). Perpetrator will be frozen in position until Theo attacks him, ending the boss + Perpetrator can be found in the castle roofs (fifth floor) plotting/ looking devious

Captain Raider

+ Peppino in place of Noise + As mentioned, Peppino did not quit to open a pizza place, he only got more and more known staying on the job + If Noise does his job by being a copy cat, Raider does his job by repeating his old antics/with nostalgia factor + Raider being a boxer is inspired by how Peppino was meant to fight all the bosses in a boxing ring in old concept art (also for winning VineWrestle lmao) + He would actually use the ropes to push himself forward or jump higher. He also does not have any gadgets but he will be referencing a few of Peppino's transformations + The fight has an audience of ants (rats) that would throw stuff at Theo. The second phase would have a giant screen fall from the ceiling and it's frozen to a repeat clip of Raider + When the screen falls, a few ants are flung up and they will eventually come down to the ring, the same way the Noise balloon will knock the cameramen Noiseys off before they fall from the sky + Instead of getting a gun and being a cheater, Raider will come out of the second fight cloud bruised up but refusing to accept his loss + The boss ends when Mr G and Click (Gus and Brick) appears to take the beaten up Raider away from the stage + He appears in north wing (fourth floor) eating pizza and being salty when approached

Noelle Poupette

+ The Faker of Cookie Castle + Faker is an attempt to fully replicate Peppino as a person but Noelle is a bootleg that wants the same marketability of The Noise's character + She was made as a character to be Captain Raider's foil to fill the gap Noise left but she has no actor, just a robot + She parallels how the og Noise cannot be original for anything (reusing his name for many roles, being a copy of The Noid himself, taking credit for Peppino's triumph etc) + Noelle is a nutcracker type of robot for the reference of the play having The Land of Sweets + Referencing the Nutcracker and Noise, she would perform ballet in her boss fight and they would end with her having her own tornado form + Her motto is "Only the best!" and the quote is accompanied by a cute Noise-ified character who says it instead of the creepy ass robot + She pirouettes on a platform then hops down and bows in her intro + The animatronic is a prototype and this is the reason Noelle is horrifying to look at despite trying to look sleek and perfect + In the third phase, her body breaks. She chases Theo down a storage. She walks on her hands, her legs are bent so back that her toes point forwards like a scorpion tail, and her jaw breaks agape

Pieface, Gingernick & Wilton the Gingerboy

+ Pizzahead and affiliates are not swapped with any character but their food of inspiration are changed + Wilton's is a real brand and it sells baking products to parallel Totino's being a real brand that sells microwavable pizza rolls + Wilton is also chosen as Gingerboy's name because Gingernick is inspired by Willy Wonka so he will be nicknamed Willy too (Gingernick has been renamed from Gingerhead cuz that fuckin sucked) + Willy Wonka is an inspiration because he's a big name clown much like Ronald McDonald + Pieface flies around chasing Theo akin to a pie being thrown as a prank + When Crunch Time starts, Pieface will say "Ready or not!" rather than "It's showtime!" to be playful with Theo + It's probably more spaceous in the Pieface mech than in the Pizzaface one lol + Theo opens up the room to the final column (pillar) by activating the catapult with the giant pie to hit the Castle instead of his shop

Extras

+ Toppins are Sprinkls and they are (in order of the Toppins arrangement) marshmallow, cream, apple, cinnamon stick, and almond + Pillar John has no swap, he will be a graham cracker instead and will be called Column Graham + Pizza Granny and Gerome are swapped, Granny will be called Miss Mary (in reference to Marie Callender the real pie brand) and Gerome will be called Greyson (no reference but it's to match with Graham's hard G) + Miss Mary is an old gingerbread lady who opens an oven which leads to the level's secret + Greyson is still Graham's brother, this time he will be more helpful being the tutorial NPC (makes sense also because he knows the place inside and out) + The Castle is made of cookies and crackers like a gingerbread house. John and Gerome are bricks since the Tower is made of it so Graham and Greyson would be biscuits too + First floor is the south wing, second floor would be the west wing (cowboy joke), third is east wing, and the fourth is north. The fifth floor would be the roof of the castle and the final boss takes place in and above the keep (a small tower lmao) + Mr Stick and the priest swaps positions but not much for personality + Stick will be called Sticky Fingers but still nicknamed Stick, he steals the transformations + Stick will also be dressed more dapper in the Pizzascare level where he would strike a deal with Theodore to provide a transformation + Burton's the priest, I dunno how to tell you this I'm so sorry everyone, he's Father Burton here and he summons a boss gate with holy light and it's beautiful + Mr G and Click are Raider's agents and they have a pack of ants that works with them (thanks to Click, she's like their queen but not really) + They do not own a cafe but they hang out in one with an anonymous owner. The shenanigens Mr G makes are with Perpetrator and he convinces that idiot to test run stupid shit + The secret grandpa pepper will be called grandpa smith + There's a Captain Raider campaign and it's called Pizza Tower

Today's (1/6/2025) Episode: Changes and Chances

After dropping a much healthier Meelee back at home Noemi and Skye ended up turning right back around to go visit Skye’s doctor.

As soon as they arrived Skye’s pretty blue soft cast was removed and replaced with a brand-new one in a much less appealing shade of brown. “This can happen sometimes, either due to swelling or if the cast was just a little too snug to begin with” the doctor explained “It’s good you came in when you did. Since your surgery is so soon, you’re unlikely to have any more issues before then, but if you do let us know if you see or feel anything worrying.”

Skye nodded “I will, I promise.”

“I wish they hadn’t had to remove my nail polish.” Skye said to xir mom as they headed out.

“I’m sorry about that.” Noemi replied “but you understand why they did, right? The doctor said that changes to the color of your nailbed are one of the earliest indicators of circulation issues. We’ll buy you some polish, and you can paint them again as soon as they tell us its safe.”

Just then her phone pinged a couple times  with messages from her loving husband, although these were invitations to go shopping, not on a date.

“Hey – that was your dad.” Noemi motioned for Skye to take a seat in the waiting room. “How do you feel about a trip downtown?”

 “Mr. Peppino invited us to the flea market to help him pick out some décor for a new paternity satellite clinic he’s opening in Selvadorada. It could be fun. Get out of the house, try some new food, maybe find something to brighten up your room?” She gave xem an encouraging smile.

“Can I invite Elyse?” Skye asked. Xe enjoyed going on trips with xir folks, but it would be so much better with xir favorite sim there too.

Noemi frowned slightly but nodded “Sure. You know, I’d love to hear more about what happened at the game last night. You two got in so late we didn’t get a chance to chat. Did you have fun?”

Skye found xemself grinning at the memory of the previous evening “It was wonderful mom. Foxbury won the game, I got a great interview with Coach Silva, and… well… Elyse and I kissed.” Xe blushed deeply. “I want to ask her to be my girlfriend, but… do you think she’d actually say yes?”

“I don’t know” Noemi answered “the only person who can answer that is Elyse. Is everything OK with you two, does she truly accept you? I really don’t want to see you get hurt again.”

“Its fine mom, I promise” Skye smiled “she explained that she was just confused and surprised that night, but she said she’ll use my new pronouns, and she said she likes me – do you think she means she like likes me? She seemed happy during our date, and she wanted me to kiss her.”

“Well that all sounds very promising” Noemi forced a smile, still worried but determined to be supportive “why don’t you give her a call, see if she wants to join us, and then play the rest by ear? I think you’ll know when the time is right to take that next step.”

With that Skye pulled out xir phone to text Elyse about their upcoming adventure in the city with xir folks.

Skye’s storyline here was the result of an annoying in-game issue and is based on my own personal experience.

For some reason I could change the color of xir cc cast in CAS but it randomly stopped reflecting the blue color. I didn’t want to wipe the buff, and I didn’t think it made sense for xem to have surgery on the weekend, so I did this instead. I still find that it wants to randomly change colors sometimes so forgive me if its various shades of brown at different times; I decided to just live with that 😣

What I describe happening to Skye actually happened to me when I was wearing a hard cast on my arm (and I verified it can also happen with soft casts). It got uncomfortably tight after about a week and had to be replaced. OF COURSE it happened almost immediately after I’d gotten a bunch of signatures that I was too embarrassed to ask anyone to redo😭 but it had to be done!

Super Cream 64 v6 Update Patch Notes

Unless mentioned, updates listed will be featured for all versions. General Fixes/Updates

Opening logo has been updated

Dialog has been updated to address typos and new changes (thank you Saralene for the help!)

Legacy Puppycam camera has been readded and set to default. Can be changed at anytime in Options > Camera. Big thank you to AloXado320 (and SM64ex-Alo in general) for implementing this suggestion.

(PC/Switch) A brand new config file called cream64config.txt will generate instead of using the default sm64config.txt to prevent conflict with other mods. You may need to reconfig your binds and settings if you've played previous builds. The new config file is still located in the same folder as the previous config.

Game will no longer crash from landing after a triple jump. A fix carried over from SM64ex-alo.

Cheese follow code has been updated. Cheese will now spawn in the Castle Grounds and disappear when the ending cutscene starts.

Camera readjust whenever the player landed from flying in the default/lakitu cam has been fixed. Leftover code from Chao Bandstand was causing the issue back when flying put you into Wing Cap Cam. - The following levels affected will now behave properly whenever you landed: Big Boo's Haunt, any level that used 8 Directional Cam, the aquarium room inside the castle and any Eggman fight.

Levels

Melancholy Mines (formally Cavern of the Metal Cap): - Added a floor to make advancing to the upper level much easier - Removed a spot that could cause softlocks and replaced it with a wall grate.

Mission Street (formally Secret Aquarium): - Minor updates to fix some collision and remove some geometry - (PC/Switch) Added two Beatmania IIDX machines & a Pop'N Music machine in the arcade inside the theater with new music to accompany them. - (PC/Switch) "Is it me or did that strange Accelgor in the window look at me funny?"

Big Boo's Haunt: - King Boo Boom's hitbox has been adjusted to actually fit the model. - This also means the Big Boo in the merry-go-round now has that same hitbox so keep that in mind.

Music & SFX

Music have been updated for: - File Select - Melancholy Mines - Post-End Credits

Silver's voice quip has been updated to actually be from him. Previous was from Trunks from Xenoverse cause it was funny.

Added new noise whenever the player gets squished and takes damage.

All but a handful of outfits now have unique star collecting jingles, barring a few repeats with some. The few left will use the default jingle.

Somehow, you say. As if he wasn't doxxed on live TV just a few ... what has it been? Days? Weeks? Months? Who knows. Wario leaned onto the doorframe as CC's Igglybuff snuggled into his arms into yet another nap. He... can't bring himself to say it, but... He's glad she's okay.

❝ . . . I'ma sorry for my behavior last time. ❞ Wario did want to apologize for that. Now that Noisette was here, he can say Peppino didn't chew him out enough. Poor girl takes a fatal blow and is already back on her feet coming to give her condolences. He really is a jerk ain't he. Despite the awkwardness, he knew why she came. Cotton Candy's room was still littered with drawings she had done of Noisette. Along with drawings of her other friends... some he had still yet to meet.

He left the door open as he turned, inviting her into his house. He gently placed CC's Igglybuff (they still gotta name it, don't they...) onto the couch, where it would yawn and turn before returning to its deep sleep.

Due to the tower falling and reviving, her speech is a little broken, if someone (like the pillar bros, peppino, etc) were to have conversation with her then they'll have to be a little patient when shes speaking.

Here, I'll make an example:

``It was v..very lonely, in that hee..headspace, but I'm just glad I m..anaged to make it out. I hope I didn't sc..are anyone too much fro..from my revival..``

Although, when she gets more nervous/stressed her speech becomes more broken than before.
