I have no idea if the Ghosts fandom is alive on here, but here is Stephanie! I'm currently drawing a handful of characters more accurately to how they died because the show really does lack on getting more bloody when it needs to.

Details: Blood splatter on her dress and face are from her prom date. She has tear marks down her cheeks (*and running mascara. Also, her eyes are a little red around the edges if you zoom in). Dirt on her arms and dress from trying to running away.

the eldest four ghosts of the house being close is so dear to me. the idea that they’ve been there for each other the longest—that the boys even watched hetty grow up—is such a tender and compelling touch.

what’s also true about this friend group is that they only ever have one brain cell between them at all times, and it bounces between them like a ping pong ball. <3

I’ve been thinking. As much as I criticize this show, and I stand by most of my criticisms, I really do hope I equally convey how much I love this show and how wonderful and unique it is. I wouldn’t want anyone’s experience of this show or it’s fandom to be negatively affected by my complaining. I hope we’re having fun.

Got the timeline mixed up, my apologies to Sass. THORFINN is Robin's equivalent. Thought Sass was older. Glad they specified his nation later. Still not a fan of the other choices made. Original post has been edited to remove the misinformed Sass complaint.

Tried watching the American version of Ghosts again. It's worse. Definitely worse. But in, like, an *insulting* way. They removed every subtlety! Do they think my American brain was incapable of comprehending that Captain was in the closet without him making stereotypical jokes about it every three sentences??? And their equivalent for the literal caveman, whose entire joke was secretly being smart? An indigenous man (of no determinate nation as far as I got in the show). Which seems like it might be a tad insulting to indigenous men? Idk, I'm not qualified to decide that. Still feels icky. And they made Fanny younger and "hotter". For why? Hhh. Agh. Argh. I need to make art of the original BBC series.

-pete and flower have a nice friendship because they both enjoy nature and pete loves teaching flower about different birds and plants and things (he sees her almost as one of his scouts and she looks up to him kinda like an older brother)

-hetty was so excited when alberta ended up staying as a ghost because there was finally another woman around and because she enjoyed albertas singing

-trevor is secretly invested in bodices and barons but pretends he just watches it cause it’s the only thing on and he hates it sooooo much

-hetty calls flower susan sometimes like how she calls pete peter

-thor wants sam and jay to have a kid in hopes they can see him just like hetty did

-alberta and sasappis be gossiping to no end

-pete and trevor are actually pretty good friends and watch 80s movies together cuz they remind trevor of his childhood and pete just didn’t have time to watch them when he was alive

every so often, hetty will drop a line about her life that is so replete with raw pain and regret that it sucks all of the oxygen out of the room, and then she’ll immediately smile or crack a joke afterwards like she didn’t just reveal something so terribly devastating about herself and the explicitly unhappy circumstances of her life.
