I might have a plot idea for your Mask bot series!
-Mike is in the PizzaPlex trying to correct his father's sins (even if he is still stuck in UCN in your AU or not, many people have still been hurt)
-Jeremy manages to make Mike recognize him
-They try to find Jeremy's daughter Cassie cuz Jeremy knows that with the V.A.N.N.I. mask, his daughter's life is in danger
-Find Roxy torn apart (due to the Mimic battle but the may not know that yet)
-Fix Roxy (not really they probably just manage to power her on or something)
-Discover the Tangle
-Discover the Mimic
- Find Cassie (in critical condition mind you)
Aaand that's all I could come up with for now. Of course these are just ideas so you can have your own plot.
Yoyoyo Anon! GODS THANK YOU FOR THE SUGGESTIONS! Especially since it helps me tie together a story I had in mind that was rather loose and just floating ideas in my brain... Also it kinda fits in weirdly well with another Anon ask/request that I'll for SURE get around to doing... eventually HKJH\SGDJ
With these in mind, here's a little story idea with bits from your suggestions with mine that I might eventually get around to making into a comic šŸ‘€šŸ‘€ (Under the cut bc it is LONGGGG like REALLY long lmao)
Mike returns back to the Pizzaplex during the events of Ruin. He worked at the Pizzaplex while it was still running, for what reason? There's not a clue in the world, but he went undercover as a security guard. They say that his mother owns the place, evident by his rank high up, but nobody at all knows who runs the place and how Michael even got a job. But there he was.
He's back again to uncover the reason for it's destruction- to hopefully find answers to unsolved mysteries left by this company and to rewrite the sins of William. He's arrived maybe an hour or so after Cassie entered, so there's no sign of life in the main entrance besides a certain mask bot without the key item in its possession. The events of this comic take place during this time.
Afterward, the mask bot can't seem to let go after finding Mike again- Jeremy couldn't let go- so he tags along as Mike scours the pizzaplex. Jeremy's following along as he knows the programming of the bot he inhabits, gave his daughter a very dangerous item- the V.A.N.N.I mask- So he wants to try and get it off her hands as soon as he can with the help of Mike. How he'll convey his wants on the matter? He can't, but he'll try.
They're quick through the place- Cassie cleared the way, so all enemies are pretty much nonexistent to them, so they catch up quick to where she was recently. They find the MXES system offline and Mike panics, as he knows what's beyond it. (Playing off the theory that it was Henry's creation, Mike would know what it is.)
They find Roxy destroyed, Mike motioned to Jeremy to keep looking and he agrees. Making his way quietly, Jeremy peeks around the corner to see the Mimic's hand grabbing the power supply to the elevator. He hears Cassies voice faintly, possibly in the elevator and freezes in horror as the Mimic rips the wires and the Elevator fails (playing on the theory that the Mimic caused the elevator to fail.), all he can hear is Cassies screaming and he rushes back to Mike.
As he returns back, Mike somehow got Roxy online, but she's still in a completely wrecked state. They take her to the nearest safe zone- one they could think of on the spot to avoid the Mimic and try and fix her up a little more. Awake again, Roxy remembers her duty of protecting Cassie and tasks herself with finding Cassie- Jeremy is pleased with this as he can't convey his own panic- Once she somehow picks up her location, she guides them through twisting turns and flights of staircases until they find a bunker- Mike knows this bunker
They're back at the SL building : > (IDK, where else would the elevator lead lmao, I don't think there's anything lower than the SL bunker šŸ˜)
Mike is familiar with this place but struggles to come to terms with this fact that this was where he was supposed to die- and who does he find than a giant mess of wires and destroyed bodies of past animatronics. He remembers Ennard He remembers Molten Freddy- This was horrifying, huge, and there was a mess of screams and crying inaudible, but he knew the thing was upset. Jeremy recognises the mask the thing it's wearing- it was Lefty, the thing in the VR world that tried to kill him while he was mending Helpy (this AU has Lefty as the head of the Blob/Tangle)
Mike has a feeling he knows what this is. He wasn't the person who attended the burning of the Pizzaria Sim Location, but rather, he helped guide the animatronics with Henry there for whomever was working there at the time, but he was indulged in Henry's plans- And he was mortified to know it only made everything worse- This was an amalgamation of all the children's animatronic bodies- remnant- souls- they were upset, scared, just wanting to move on, and Mike wanted to help so badly.
The thing was kind to them, even Mike for some reason. Roxy begged the thing to guide them to Cassie and it Obliged- the soul that was in the lead wasn't malicious, it was kind, especially to children so it wanted to help. It was kind to Mike- why Mike? He didn't know that the thing guiding them to Cassie was Charlie, she knew Mike- She wanted to help mike and with Cassidy in the amalgamation helping Charlie, she knew Mike was safe after letting his little brothers soul free from Golden Freddy while she inhabited it, so she deemed him good.
They find Cassie, incredibly injured and Jeremy panicked, rushing over and holding her close. Something was wrong though, she wore the mask- they didn't know her mind isn't in control anymore- she has succumbed to a similar fate as Jeremy but he is determined to save her from it.
She will be the next Vanny.

Hello! IDK if you can do this, but how about a FNAF DLC platonic:
Ruined Eclipse (or Sun and Moon separated) with a creator! reader, something like a reunion parent-child, they recognize the reader because of an old guest record, the first one they ever had. As they were created by them
"I still can't believe you almost shutdown the entire MXES system..."
"Yeah, me neither. But who decided that the avatar should look like some...creepy rabbit? I was honestly more scared of that than anything."
".....I'd rather not talk about it. Let's just keep moving."
"Vanessa's right, we're getting close to the daycare." You chimed in, keeping a hopeful smile on your face as you shone the flashlight down the debris-ridden path.
Coming back to the ruined Pizzaplex was something you never even dreamed of doing. After helping Gregory, Vanessa, and Freddy (or at least what's left of him anyways) escape this awful place...you thought that the best thing to do was to implement an advanced security system.
One that ensured nothing, especially the machine you all called the "Mimic", could get out and wreck havoc.
Of course, you felt bad for leaving all the other animatronics behind, including Freddy's bandmates. You had plans to come back and retrieve them once Vanessa confirmed that the widespread system virus was cleared.
Then a mysterious earthquake struck and basically left the complex in ruins.
Fortunately the security system remained intact, as it was her idea to put all of it into the AR world where reality couldn't damage the nodes.
And for a while there were no problems...
Until they began shutting down one by one, and Vanessa discovered that a new user had been paired with the VANNI network thanks to the mask she left behind.
That user?
Gregory's friend: Cassie.
Somehow the Mimic managed to contact her and pretend to be him, instructing her to "save him" by turning off all the nodes. And it was interfering with all of your attempts to reach her.
Even worse?
MXES kept sending out alert signals to the animatronics--which is what it's programmed to do in order to keep anyone from touching the nodes..
But considering the horrible state the Glamrocks were in the last time you saw them, you were almost certain they're hunting Cassie like a pack of wolves, driven by anger rather than a glitch or security protocols.
Luckily you were able to access her walkie-talkie before she could shutdown the Entity itself and free the Mimic, explaining that Gregory was never there to begin with.
You, him, Vanessa, and Freddy eventually came to her rescue, taking a backup of MXES before escaping the pizzaplex for the last time.
Or...
At least you thought that would've been the last time you've ever seen that place.
Cassie recognized you as the creator of the Daycare Attendant and mentioned that he was active and....didn't try to harm her after she managed to reboot him.
That piqued your interest.
You didn't think he'd be functional still, let alone harmless towards her.
For a few days you kept thinking about it and how much you missed seeing that ray of sunshine/moonlight..
Next thing you knew, you were back here with your friends to seek him out. Gregory proposed finding a new body for Freddy--or at least batteries from the recharge stations to keep his head active.
Since you're already here, you might as well take a shortcut to Superstar Daycare.
"Can I ask you something about him, [y/n]?" Cassie spoke up.
"Sure."
"...was he meant to have some third mode? Because when I rebooted him, he didn't act too much like Sun...and he definitely wasn't acting 100% like Moon, either."
"....oh my gosh.." Stopping in your tracks, you stared at her with wide eyes. "You managed to put him into Eclipse mode??"
"I....guess..? Is that what he's called?"
"Yes! That was his default mode for his theater performances! I thought it was lost forever, but....wow." You laughed softly. "I have to see him now."
Eclipse was a name you thought you'd never hear again.
Originally, you had created him as a stage performer in the Pizzaplex's early days, developing his day-night cycle function as a neat little schtick for the children. He was meant to tell stories and switch between Sun and Moon to act out a thrilling "good vs evil" battle.
Alas his performances didn't get nearly as much attention as the Glamrocks, and you were sorta coerced into coming up with a new idea lest he was scrapped altogether.
You decided he'll become a daycare manager to help with the recent uptick of patrons accompanied by toddlers.
You led a small engineering team to help program him with new information, including a guest record that you tested out first, and he adjusted to his new role very well. He became popular even quicker than before.
The only issue during maintenance was the light-sensitivity switch couldn't be removed...not even by you. For whatever reason the DreadUnit didn't have that information on file.
You've tried everything in the book, even attempting to reverse-engineer how you made it originally. But you couldn't remove it without compromising Eclipse's entire system.
It's like it was somehow integrated permanently into his software, rather than being a physical mechanism you put in with a wrench and screws.
You knew for a fact you didn't design it that way.
One of the newbie engineers who doubted your skills tried fixing the problem themselves, taking Eclipse to parts & services without your permission.
Then there was a blackout, and they nearly got maimed to death after he abruptly switched into Moon and attacked them inside the "protective" cylinder.
The incident had been covered-up since, but you never did see Eclipse (or that coworker) ever again.
There was just Sun and Moon now, with neither half remembering anything related to their original form.
As painful as it was...you had to accept it, knowing that it would be too risky (and costly) to perform any further maintenance on that mechanic. You just continued overseeing his duties as daycare attendant.
But things kept going downhill from here.
You felt like your beloved creation had turned into a walking nightmare, considering the amount of complaints you've had over him making toddlers cry while they're getting picked up from the daycare.
It didn't help matter where the blackouts became more frequent in there, too, triggering Moon to come out often; management's solution was to shove a bunch of backup generators into the play areas and call it a day.
They didn't wanna waste a single dime more on any problems relating to the Attendant or his attraction, making it clear that you'd only repair him if he needed cleaning.
And they threatened you with termination if you mentioned anything about Eclipse to the guests or coworkers.
It was so unfair.
The incompetent engineer who only had two months of animatronic repair experience took your creation and broke him--being let off the hook with a mere slap on the wrist and all their medical expenses paid...
While you're stuck dealing with the consequences.
Neither Sun nor Moon blamed you for anything that happened, but you still felt like you failed them.
Like you failed Eclipse.
You eventually resigned, unable to deal with it anymore, although you still thought about him all the time and visited the Pizzaplex, hoping he was doing well.
Maybe he'd forget about you as he continued receiving an endless number of guest names to add to his database. He probably erased your name since you haven't been back in such a long time.
Perhaps..that was for the best.
Yet now you were here once again among the ruins of the mall, holding onto the tiniest bit of hope that he was still alive.
It seems you haven't fully let him go just yet.
..........
As the doors to the daycare eerily creaked open, you made the brave decision to go inside alone while the rest of the group kept a lookout for trouble.
Gregory and Freddy, of course, had their reasons not to enter that place. Neither of them knew for certain if the Attendant would remember them...and how Moon chased down the brunette at the end of every hour.
He'd rather not relive the horrors of trying to navigate through the darkness and turn on those stupid generators.
You looked all around, frowning at the ruined state of the daycare you helped build. But at the same time it filled you with such nostalgia.
It's a miracle anything was left standing at all.
"Hello? Eclipse?" Your voice echoed throughout the seemingly empty attraction.
A few seconds later, you got a response that made your heart swell with joy.
"Hello, friend! Welcome to Superstar Daycare!!"
In the blink of an eye, a familiar face floated down in front of you with a smile. You stepped back and took a moment to look over the animatronic, seeing he had parts of Sun and Moon blended together as one.
And somehow, he was able to stand despite only having one intact leg.
At first you had no idea what to say..
But no words had to be spoken, as Eclipse's petals clicked and shuffled as he leaned in closer. From his eyes came a holographic scanner that swept over you once, and once it vanished he stepped back, shocked.
"[Y/n]...my creator..?" He whispered. "You...have returned?"
You nodded, smiling as tears formed in your eyes. "It's me, Eclipse. I'm back."
You couldn't help opening your arms up to him, and he embraced you tightly in response, nearly crushing you. Although some of his endoskeleton components and loose wires poked your sides, you didn't care about that, being too overwhelmed with emotion to worry.
He was okay, and he didn't seem to hold any ill-will towards your abrupt resignation.
That's all that mattered right now.
"Oh it's so, so good to see you!! How have you been? Is your boss giving you a rough time? Am I due for maintenance??" He was rambling a mile a minute, and you just chuckled and shook your head, letting him go.
"No, you're just fine, buddy. But listen, there's..something you need to know-"
"Of course, of course! Could you just give me one moment? I'm almost done cleaning up this place!" He looked around anxiously. "We'll be open in an hour so I need to do one final sweep!"
"Eclipse-"
"I pinky swear it'll take only a second! And then-!"
"Eclipse. I command you to stay put and listen."
Before he could leap out of your sights, your firm tone of voice made him freeze and stare at you, completely unmoving.
Even you were stunned that he was still programmed to obey you, but at least it makes what you're about to tell him easier.
You cleared your throat, awkwardly clipping your flashlight to your belt before finally speaking. "Cleaning up the daycare is...no longer necessary."
He tilted his head like a curious cat, looking rather troubled. "No longer...necessary? Why? Did I do a bad job? I hope not...I-I was just...trapped in a long sleep!"
You nodded. "I know, but during that time...an earthquake hit the Pizzaplex, and now it's too dangerous for anyone to come visit."
"..huh, so we're closed...forever?"
"Yeah, I'm sorry, Eclipse.."
"I see..." Slowly, but surely, he was processing this news. Although he perked back up with a smile. "But it must be somewhat safe..since you came to visit me!"
"Cassie told me you were still here." Your smile returned, relieved he was taking it better than you initially expected. "I heard she helped you...and Sun and Moon when you needed it most."
"Cassie....? Cassie...ohhh, the little girl who made us whole again!!" His eyes flashed with recollection. "She was such a sweet kid! Is she alright? Is she safe?"
"She's safe, and she's just outside the daycare. Along with Vanessa and um...Gregory."
"........"
"L-Listen, I know you two had a bad history together.." You began, cautious as he just stared blankly at you. "But I promise he's not-"
"Who's Gregory? I don't recall his name being in my records.."
'Ah....so Eclipse doesn't know him. Thank god.'
"Oh! That's okay. He's a great kid, too. I'll have to introduce you to him." You extended your hand out. "Come with me. Let's get out of this place. He needs our help finding a new body for Freddy since his original one got destroyed by the STA--earthquake."
Internally you cursed yourself for that near-slip of the tongue, although Eclipse didn't notice at all and joyfully took your hand, eager to help a kid in need.
He let you lead him out of the daycare like a parent and their child, never letting your hand go even for a moment. But you weren't complaining.
In a way, you were his parent.
You did create him, after all.
And now you've finally reunited with him.

So Ruin got me feeling things-
ā€¼ļø (Spoilers under the cut!!!!) ā€¼ļø
-First off can I say how much I adore Cassie? Girl committed breaking and entering, dealt with a decrepit torn down old Pizzaplex, fought off several animatronics that by all means could have killed her, helped some of those said animatronics find peace, all in the name of saving her friend. You go girl.
-ECLIPSE!!!! šŸŒžšŸŒ—šŸŒš I LOVE THEM!!! šŸ’•šŸ’•šŸ’•šŸ’•(For those who donā€™t know, Iā€™m now outing myself as a Daycare Attendant simp), Sun/Moon was always my favorite character in the original game, and Iā€™m so happy we were allowed to give them some sense of closure with themself, Sun & Moon are definitely in a more healthy state of mind as Eclipse.
-GLAMROCK BONNIEā€”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
-Also got fed on some Glamrock Fronnie content, we keep winning-
-ā€œYou and me, forever and ever. Love, Freddy.ā€ Freddy thatā€™s pretty gay-
-The šŸ‘Roxy šŸ‘redemption šŸ‘we šŸ‘were šŸ‘fed šŸ‘
-Her and Cassieā€™s bond is so cuteeeeeeā€¦.. and she came back to try and save Cassie in the end!! (Steelwool we better see more of these two-)
-The overall atmosphere really tipped more into Fnaf traditional horror which I loved
-Mimic wasā€¦ something.. still donā€™t know exactly how to feel about them. I mean I knew that couldnā€™t be Gregory that we were talkin go to cause I know he isnā€™t a lil coward but still..
-Speaking of Gregory-
-DUDE. WHAT THE FUCK.
-Iā€™ve been backstabbed, betrayed, bamboozled-
-AFTER ALL I DID TRYING TO SAVE YOU-
-Gregory and me are now on bad terms yā€™all. Love the little bastard to death but Iā€™m really pissed at him right now.
-THERE WAS NO REASON FOR THAT-
-AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
-Gregory and I are beefing right now. Leave me be.
-Itā€™s also now heavily implied that the Princess Quest Ending was the true ending to the original game instead of.. the true ending-
-Also implying Vanny is no longer under Willā€™s influence. Kinda sucks.. like yeah good for her that sheā€™s free now but girl got no time to be a villain! Let girls be deranged!!
Tumblr media
-I have.. a lot of headcanons and AU shit to rewrite now. (Pretty much now confirms Greg and Cass arenā€™t siblings so Imma have to get rid of that-)
-Iā€™m trying what I can now to find all the endings. LORD Iā€™M A WRECK.

FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE WHO HATES GGY WOOO!!!
But like, the story doesnā€™t add anything to gregory if it was even cannon. Many ppl are using it to do ā€œgregory was always evil!!!ā€ thing for why he broke the animatronics and like. If animatronics were trying to kill you wouldnā€™t you do the same???
Like to add on how it feels like a cop out thing: at least with the mimic it can provide an actual conflict between him and cassie. even if he never destroyed the elevator how would cassie fully believe him, what if hes saying that to save his own hide? But with the ggy virus its like. ohhh he didnā€™t mean to be evil!!!
EXACTLYYYYYYYYY. evilitis kills all tension because it means all conflict resolves with one conversation ("hey that wasn't me i swear, i had the woke mind virus") -- and, subsequently, encourages idiot plots where nobody ever tells each other things precisely so that conversation never happens. because it happening means there's no longer any conflict!!
i think the whole "is gregory evil?" argument is exactly why his fans latched onto it so hard -- because it provides an easy defence for his behaviour. but what that misses is that not only is gregory's behaviour completely normal -- he's a young kid trapped in a building with dozens of machines that want to kill him! -- but even if it wasn't... well, it doesn't have to be. characters require flaws to create conflict that pushes the narrative forward; it is a story, not real life. we are not actually judging a real preteen, we're judging a character who was constructed the way he was for a reason.
sb received a lot of criticism for not having any way to "save" the other glamrocks, but this is -- for once -- a critique i don't think it deserves. you do not save the glamrocks because this is not a story about saving them (in that sense) -- it is gregory's story, and his story is one of survival. he is not an empathetic person and he does not have to be (which is why the game/freddy does not treat him as evil for it) (because he is a child and his survival should be his #1 priority). the cycle ends when he cares, but him caring is something that develops over the course of sb's (hodgepodge, barely coherent) story -- something that happens because of freddy. he starts off kinda mean and rude but freddy's support brings out the caring kid beneath, while gregory's fight for survival makes freddy finally let loose (outright encouraging him to fuck up monty, going after vanny in multiple endings, burning down the pizzaplex, telling gregory to kill vanny on his deathbed, etc). you cannot reach an arc without the push necessary to get there, and this kind of thing is the force behind it. you can't turn gears without teeth to catch each other's ridges.
and... well, from a meta standpoint, 'curing' the glamrocks means removing them as potential future antagonists. we wouldn't have ruin if sb hadn't left their stories open to continue, the same way we wouldn't have pizzasim if sl hadn't left the door open. it is an ongoing series -- and a fucking tragedy at that. the story about adults with delusions of grandeur sacrificing dozens of children on the altar of their self-esteem is always gonna be bitter-sweet, and expecting otherwise is genuinely baffling. freeing the missing kids doesn't make them any less dead, and i wish i could circle that word in red pen, because! reminder! the happy ending of fnaf has always been letting go!
if freddy had've prioritised his friend's safety over gregory's, he would be dead. if gregory had've prioritised the glamrock's safety over his own, we'd have both a less interesting protagonist and he would probably be dead. and him having recovered from the woke mind virus evilitis would have changed absolutely none of that.

This is primarily aimed at Security Breach fans in particular, not FNAF fans as a whole.
You all are so damn toxic sometimes.
Even worse is that people are just being mean to Monty fans right now
"Donā€™t get all angry because your favorite wasn't in the game," and I don't think they get that heā€™s the ONLY one not to be in the game.
I hate being a fan of Monty cause we had to deal with the Glamrock Bonnie fans harassing anything to do with Monty on Tiktok or Twitter. "MONTY KILLED BONNIE!"
FOR FUCK SAKES THIS SERIES HAS A LITERAL CHILD SERIAL KILLER WHO ABUSED HIS CHILDREN! WHY IS THE ANIMATRONIC ALLIGATOR WHO MIGHT. LET ME REPEAT THAT. MIGHT HAVE KILLED ANOTHER ANIMATRONIC MET WITH THE SAME ENERGY AS SAYING SOMEONE SIMPS FOR DAHMER?
Not only that, Monty fans have been playing each game hoping Steelwool will treat him better. Expand on his character a bit more. Instead his negative personality traits and "evilness" being played up more and more cause Steelwool and Scott saw some people hate him, and thought it wasn't enough.
In Ruin there's not one moment Cassie shows any concern for him. It's that Monty thing, it hurts to look at. Than they made him just the worst off of the trio, and fucking killed him.
Now even in a game he rightfully should appear in. He's the ONLY one cut.
Monty fans get the short end of the stick.
We are harrassed by fans
Our boy is treated worse and worse each game. Physically, mentally, and even in narrative.
Now, heā€™s just fucking gone with little fanfare.
Its like why are you obsessed?
Honestly, because Monty speaks to me. This is mostly head canon, but based on how he acts.
I used to have really bad anger issues in elemantary and middle school. Even worse, I had to deal with a mentally abusive teacher telling me I wouldn't amount to anything. I was bullied relentlessly because they knew that when I reacted with my outburst class would be delayed. I even lived in the same neighborhood as them so I couldn't escape. It got so bad I attempted suicide. What saved me was after so long of being harrased, after so long of people only judging me based on what they heard. Never defending me. Someone finaly went to the principal and told them to look at my bullies before I reacted. Suddenly, the bullying stopped. What's sad is, it's not like I didn't try. I went to the principal and guidance counselor every dat. In the end to them I was that punk kid who would snap at any moment. Not a person.
With Monty I see someone who was like me. With anger issues because he hates himself as much as he thinks everyone hates him. I wonder if in universe he's constantly reminded he's not Bonnie. He sees fans clamoring to see Freddy while ignoring him. People always bring up the Missing message and his Arcade game to judge him. Then seemingly forget about the message that states he will skip shows to be over Monty Golf. You know the same shows he apparently killed Bonnie to appear in. What I see is someone who needs to work on his anger issues and get better, but isn't evil. They're dealing with the fact that one day their anger got the better of them, and they did something they couldn't take back. Something that I think many people with mental health problems can relate too.
My anger issues didn't just get me bullied. I was an embarrassment to my parents. I hurt people I loved. I was violent. I didn't hurt anyone, but I threw books and flipped tables. I was in this loop of feeling like everyone hated me because of my anger issues, and that only made things worse and worse. Even now I have a hard time loving myself.
That's why Monty means so much to me. I saw someone who was like me. I saw someone with anger issues but was more than that if people gave them the chance.
All I wanted was to see Monty one last time before he was retired when the new band is announced.
I couldn't even get that.
Before you make fun of me, this is what a comfort character is. I'm sure there are fans who relate to Roxyā€™s insecurities. Who have an eating disorder and feel for Chica. Who felt lonely and wanted attention like Sun. Who lost a loved one like Freddy.
I just wanted people to understand why this is just more than "my favorite didn't make it" for some people
I really hope Steelwool sees how much people really love Monty and not only put him in HW2 fully. They also treat him better

What the fuck why did Gregory do that
OKAY YOU WANT AN ANSWER??? I'LL GIVE YOU A GOD DAMN ANSWER
MAJOR FNAF RUIN SPOILERS
Okay so first of all: Gregory is patient 46 which means he's been under the Mimics control before and he KNOWS how that fucker WORKS. He knows how it affects people. He knows how it tricks people. He knows how it hurts people. That is important context here.
Gregory is 12 years old and just escaped a very fucking scary situation. He just escaped the control of an animatronic that tricked him into murdering multiple people, INCLUDING one of his friends, and also tricked him into lying about his past and parents to the authorities and possibly even manipulating him into MURDERING HIS PARENTS. Gregory is fucking TRAUAMTIZED. That's a LOT for a kid to go through!!! That's a lot for ANYONE to go through!!!!! And that paired with the fact that he also escaped with someone else (Vanessa) who was ALSO under the Mimics control, and also that he and Vanessa are the most likely candidates for who created the M.X.E.S to seal the Mimic away, they probably thought that this whole nightmare was over and that the Mimic couldn't hurt them anymore, that they were finally safe after everything and could finally recover.
But then Gregory's friend gets tricked by it. She gets lured to the Pizzaplex, thinking that he's hurt, alone, and trapped. Gregory says, and there's a chance of hearing a voice line of him trying to get through the Cassie while she's there. He's trying his fucking BEST to get through to Cassie and get her out of there before it's too late, he's trying to save her before she ruins all of his work and puts everyone at risk again. He did his fucking best, but by the time she finally listened and he got through to her, in his eyes, it was too late. The M.X.E.S was shut down, and the Mimic was free.
I have the preface this next part with the fact I know damn well that Gregory could've not been the one to drop the elevator, that it's perfectly possible that Mimic did it and that I actually believe that alternative more. But if Gregory was the one to do it, I think, for the situation he was put in, it's understandable.
Gregory, having failed at saving his friend, knowing that the system he and his new family, the survivors of this things torment, put in place to keep it sealed away and prevent it from hurting anyone anymore, is now free again- knowing how the Mimic affects and infects peoples minds, how it tricks them, thinks she's too far gone. That she can't be saved. Or that if she was saved, it would be at the risk of the everyone else.
So, he drops her. He thinks he's spared her from the Mimics control, and also sealed the one way out Mimic had by destroying the elevator. And it's possible he did, we don't know how that ended exactly- but considering Roxy's line at the end calling out Cassie's name, it's possible she still survived anyway. It's possible his plan failed, it's possible she'll be infected, it's possible the Mimic will be free and that he was just too late.
But we don't know how this ends yet. We just have to wait and see
But either way- Gregory did what he thought he had to do to protect EVERYONE. He didn't want Mimic getting more victims, he didn't want his best friend being one of those victims, he couldn't have that thing be free again after trying so hard to trap it away and be done with it.
He did what he thought was necessary.
Also if anyone who doesn't know me finds this, CREATOR IS MY FRIEND!!! I'M NOT UPSET WITH HIM FOR ASKING THIS LMAO I JUST NEED TO PROTECT MY SON!!!!

Ok FNAF fans who haven't gotten to playing ruin yet: be careful before you draw fanart, we finally got a good look at Cassie's design (albeit via art that contains lore spoilers I think-) and basically; turns out she isn't white.
I'll put the art under the cut for those who wanna see it but I will warn you that it is kinda spoilers (in the game itself it's got like heavy purple lighting but I found a cleaner version on tumblr. I forgot who made it though I saved the image and then forgot where I saved it from :'3):
Tumblr media
I know almost all of the fanart making her white was made before we actually got her official design and all we had was that really dark teaser image where people could barely even discern her hair color let alone anything else, but now we have a clear look at her so please be careful not to whitewash her.
I like to give people the benefit of the doubt so I'll give it like a month before I start blocking people for it since it wouldn't be fair to block someone who hadn't even seen her design yet and is just going off what the rest of the fandom was doing/what they thought they saw in that really dark teaser image. But after a month I think it'd be safe to assume that most FNAF fans drawing art for Ruin will have seen this image and after that there isn't an excuse.
This is not meant to be an attack on anyone, Ruin only came out yesterday, I just want to make sure people are aware of this before they end up getting mass-blocked without knowing why.

Eclipse Amnesia
[FNAF SB Fanfiction - Ruin]
Daycare Attendant x Y/N
Page 1 / 2 / 3 / 4
Here are the clean sketchs of the first pages of this incoming fanfiction which I am currently working on !
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
-> Some months after the "heartquake incident" at the PizzaPlex, Yun and her closest scientist friends goes in a mission to save the Daycare Attendant from a tragic life : all by himself, damaged and lost in what is left of the building...
Will Sun and Moon be nice and accept to come with them to be fixed and rehabilitate ?
Would they even remember their dear friend, Yun ?
-> It happen after the visit of Cassie in Ruin
-> Eclipse and the boys lost a part of their memories due to the reboot and need help
-> The endo are still here...You need to get out, quick.
-> I named Y/N "Yun" to make it more esthetic, but feel free to use your name !
-> Here Yun is identified as a "she" (think of it kind like of a self-insert as I myself indentified as "she")
-> I haven't worked on a more "he" or "them" version of the design for the moment (I think I will do another versions by changing the drawings if I have time after I finished this first version of the project ! SO if you feel better with this characters being identified as "he" or "them" I'll work on another design for later : I want everyone to feel at ease with my fanfic !)
More informations to come during the story : read it to discover everything šŸŒ˜
Any questions ? āœØļø

In regards to the whole Gregory is GGY thing, I'm just blue screening since if that's true, Gregory is apparently what, 15 to 16 years old by the time SB starts for some reason?
Stares at the child
You telling me this eight year old looking tot is 16??
Nevermind how he even got brainwashed to begin with, or even broke free (since neither are even mentioned "at all"), I'm just...what?? XD
But as for the actual question. Cassie and Gregory friendship headcanons? Any you might have?
oh my God I GENUINELY FORGOT that people think he's actually a teen in SB šŸ˜šŸ˜
Like sure, there are definitely teenagers who are...puberty deficient. (Aka those small ass teens who still look like they can pass as trick or treaters even at age 17) but even then at SOME point they're bound to properly hit puberty, if we are to presume he's like 15-or 16, okay. HE'S STILL SMALL! He likely doesn't have the strength of an almost grown man BECAUSE OF HIS BODY MASS! Just drop kick him I don't understand how these grown guidance counselors died šŸ˜šŸ˜
And you raise up a good point, how DID he get brainwashed? I'm gonna also assume Fazbear Entertainment didn't let a minor beta test this game (because of legal issues or such) so how did it happen? And HOW DID HE EVEN GET OUT ACTUALLY?? Was it the power of friendship like Ruin implies is now CANON TO FNAF?? (GlamFred had to sing 'A true friend' from MLP to save Gregory trust me I know /j)
Speaking of friends, let's get into the hcs!
Cassie and Gregory Friendship Headcanons!
(I know I usually put emojis here but I couldn't think of any atm :( I'll edit this later)
- They both already didn't even have friends before they met eachother, mostly because Gregory was homeless but for Cassie it's just cause she was surrounded by some FAKE ASS BESTIES šŸ’”šŸ’”
- So they quickly got attached to eachother lmao
- Cassie and Gregory would've totally done makeovers and nails (probably during Cassie's bday at the Glamrock Salon) (I'm sure if they older she'll start using him as a test dummy for makeup ideas šŸ˜)
- speaking of them getting older, I know it's (probably?) A popular hc that they would get romantically involved. But I just don't see it, they will stay as a bestie unit šŸ˜Ž
- if they did to trick or treating together, they'd do duo costumes. But not like the fictional best friend costumes like Sonic and Tails or Mario and Luigi (sometimes yes) but they'd do the rival duo costumes!! Like Sonic and Shadow or Batman and Joker, they just think it's funny
- They'd also do candy trading (Gregory loves chocolate and Cassie loves sour candy!!)
- They would totally play fighter games in the arcades like Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter just to battle eachother šŸ˜ Cassie spams buttons and Gregory actually finds certain moves to use to win (it ends up being a 50/50 tie for them usually)
Thanks for asking! If you want more just ask!!

I am glad to know I'm not the only one who prefers Moon more as well
And if I can be completely honest, I don't like how Moon is constantly characterized in both the game and books. I can't stand how Moon is just written as 'he's just Sun's creepy and evil alterego' and that's it, I don't understand why they gave him no other character or personality beyond that. When they didn't do that with everyone else, Sun was only on screen for fifteen minutes, and you get a complete understanding of his character, personality, and story. But Moon gets nothing like that what-so ever and it hurts to see.
Because I have to ask, is Moon really evil? The games and books tell you he is, but we don't get to see how Moon feels about it or if he believes he is evil. Nor do we get a motive behind it other than he was 'programed that way' or 'it's the virus making him act that way' and no one seems to agree on which one is more likely. But I can't blame them since we have nothing to go on because the writers couldn't be bothered to give us any insight into Moon as a character.
And I was not happy with the daycare section in Ruin, It felt rushed and wasn't scary as the base game. But my biggest problem with the section was how we deal with Moon. The fact that we had to hurt Moon with the lights and hearing him crying out in pain made me extremely uncomfortable. And he clearly didn't want to merge Sun but we just ignore him and reboot him anyway.
Sorry for spilling this out on you, I'm just happy to meet someone who loves Moon as much as I do
I do agree with a lot of this, and yeah Moon is my fav, probably mostly because I can relate to him better.
That's a long post so I cut it
FNAF explanations for different things sometimes are very silly and don't make sense, but I don't agree that he's portraited evil in games, as in DLC we get very small amount of information that before virus he was okay?
Books and games are different universes as well, if I'm not mistaken and are not canon to each other.
The fact that we don't get to see his view on all of the situation is sad, yeah, but gotta be real, dca in general doesn't get enough screen time. Sun and Moon and Eclipse have a giant potential as characters but just never get that used, unfortunately. As FNAF is Freddy's game. Not dca's.
Ruin was harsh. It was supposed to be uncomfortable, as our favourite characters are hurt, crashed and forgotten. Everyone suffers there and DLC was much scarier (to me) just because of that fact, of how we literally hear our character cry and scream and save themselves.
My thoughts on ruin Moon are biased, as he's my fav but I do believe that he wanted to get back the control that he lost in the main game, as Sun was forced to lock him away. "Keep the lights on", and Moon was just going insane being locked away for so long.
That's why we see him not as angry in the main game, because Gregory turned the lights off, and Moon doesn't have any reason to be angry at him for that. All his actions after that, trying to catch Gregory, calling him a rulebreaker, as I think go from virus.
Meanwhile in the ruin Cassie tries to do the opposite, to turn the light back on, to try and lock him up again. Sun is crying about being trapped in an endless nap, but we just keep forgetting that Sun did the same to Moon in the main game. Moon just unlike Sun didn't have an opportunity to cry about it.
I also think that the more time passes the more broken they get. Light hurts Moon because he can't switch to Sun, as it would normally happen, because of the ar. That's why it hurts so bad. That's why they need a reboot. Sun was just the first one to realize it, while Moon is being consumed by anger, virus, and trying to regain the control that he lacked for years and years. He doesn't want a reboot, but he indeed needs it.
I don't think that he's evil. I think he's hurt. He's just another victim of the situation, unfortunately often misinterpreted as a villain. Unfortunately being the "angry" and "dangerous" and "scary" one, while he just wants the same things as Sun does. He doesn't want pain(so he tries to stop us from turning the lights on), he doesn't want being caged. He chooses the simplest for that moment solution, it doesn't hurt them to be in the dark, so he tries to keep the dark.

I haven't seen anyone else talking about this yet, so I'm sharing a little lore bit I found on a wall outside the Glamrock Salon during my last Ruin livestream. I was doing a Bonnie% run (basically the wet floor bot glitch forced me to restart the game from scratch and speedwalk my way through deactivating all the bots in one go askjdnbajkf) and when I got to the end of the Salon section of the game, I happened to look up with the Vanny mask on and found this on the wall by the bathrooms, right before you loop through the Salon again to get into the Foxy flume ride:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Gone for a while. Money for food on counter. Emergency contacts on fridge."
Now, this is a level that is very Cassie-focused from the get-go. We already know Roxy is Cassie's favorite, and as the level progresses we are treated to peeks into Cassie's backstory prior to the events of the game. We see her getting her makeup done with Roxy, we see the sad aftermath of her failed birthday, we see Gregory comforting her afterward, and we then see the Missing posters with Gregory's face on them. So we can only assume this sticky note is also specifically related to Cassie's story.
We don't know much about Cassie's dad, but the game does go out of its way to mention him on multiple occasions. We know he is/was an employee at the Pizzaplex. We know he was a technician of some kind. He has a Fazwrench, he "never told Cassie what happened to Bonnie" (implying he would have known that insider information), and we also see mention of Cassie enjoying the Foxy flume ride despite the fact that it closed before it was ever open to the public.
(Granted, that last one is up for debate, because half of it was a flavor text at the bottom of the pause menu, which isn't always reliable as Cassie voice. I also can't really see someone allowing a child to be a ride tester when said ride was later closed before its open due to "safety concerns"...but then again, this is Fazbear Entertainment.)
We know Bonnie is her dad's favorite, and we know he collected the lunchboxes from the old show, meaning he's been a Fazbear fan for years.
(I also love the theory implying that Cassie's dad could be one of Michael Afton's old friends we see in the FNaF 4 crying child cutscenes, because he has the same hair, skin tone, and shirt color as Cassie and is wearing a Bonnie mask to boot...but that's not a theory for this post.)
But the one thing I always wondered was, if Cassie does have a dad back home who cares about her, then why wouldn't she ask for his help in saving Gregory? Or at the very least, why would he have just let her sneak off by herself in the middle of the day when she can't be more then 10-12 year old at best? And then I found this note...
"Gone for a while. Money for food on counter. Emergency contacts on fridge."
I think Dad isn't home right now. I think he's been gone "for a while" and Cassie has been alone. It's possible that this mystery, where he's gone, is attached to the Pizzaplex too, or at least Fazbear Ent., because this franchise never has disconnected characters be mentioned in passing so pointedly like this without it being secretly significant. Though there's not much of a foundation to build a theory on for that one just yet.
But the note and its implications ALSO echo the story that Candy Cadet tells us in the basement of the 'Plex. A single parent and their child live together in their home while a monster is locked away in a basement. The parent leaves the kid home, the monster lures said kid to the basement by mimicking a familiar voice, and then the kid unlocks the door and sets it free. It's not 1-for-1 because obviously it's not Cassie's dad that the monster at the Pizzaplex chose to mimic, but it's a definite parallel that can't be ignored.
I can't help but wonder where Steel Wool plans to go with this in the next installment, since the cliffhanger they left us on can only mean that the story isn't over yet. It's like they say...it always comes back.

FNAF Security Breach Ruin, post-"betrayal" elevator ending
hurt/comfort, Found Family, something I like to call "Hopeful Horror"
Summary: Having had her kindness stomped on then spat back at her, betrayed by who she thought was her friend, and now stuck at the ruined remains of Freddy Fazbear's Mega PizzaPlex, Cassie tries to find the slightest bit of meaning and worth in all of this.
Tumblr media
Roxy had a surprise for her? Cassie honestly found it hard for anything to be able to save this birthday party...
Nevertheless, she doesn't want to doubt the wolf.
"It's time for the birthday cake! So I asked a friend to help me make this a little extra special." Roxy stepped further away from the door, and seemed to mouth a 'Come in!' to whoever was next there.
After her, came in the very familiar face of a bear beloved by many. "Happy birthday, Superstar!"
Glamrock Freddy greeted with his usual charisma and joy, though pauses for just a second to take in the drastically empty party room save for literally only two kids. "... you were not exaggerating, Roxy. This looks like a very sad party." He discreetly whispers to Roxy, his ears dropping slightly once he could actually set his eyes on how precarious the situation was for this girl's birthday. Still he tries not to waver in front of the lone kids.
"I am truly terribly sorry that your birthday party has not been a bright experience here at the Mega PizzaPlex. We try our best to make sure every child has their special day as something to smile back at. So of course I had to help my good friend Roxy!"
Cassie does smile softly; it's not even like it was the Glamrocks' fault her party was disappointing. If anything, they're single-handed the ones who kept it from being a totally unsalvageable disaster.
"You got it with you, right?" Roxy asks Freddy, to which the bear nods, his ears wiggling.
"Of course I do!" He confirms joyfully, before lightly clearing his throat to address the kids again. "Anyway, Superstar, it is on behalf of both me and Roxy that I bring you this!" He states before there's a light hiss coming from his gears, and the front of his torso opened up, revealing a fresh birthday cake resting inside.
"It's your birthday cake, Cassie!" Roxy elaborates cheerfully, while carefully taking the confectionated treat out of Freddy's stomach hatch; Roxy's frame was much too thinner to deliver cakes like that so she lacks the feature. And she thought getting at least Freddy to also chant Cassie happy birthday as well and deliver the cake could be more enticing than just she bringing the cake over by tray.
"It is a delicious carrot cake! Roxy told me it is your favorite!" Freddy says once he could close his stomach hatch.
Roxy carefully sets the cake down on the table in front of Cassie. "It's a carrot cake made especially just for you on this special day!" The cake had a light hued creamy cover, stripes of orange icing on the sides. The top had the likelyhood of Roxy in a kart with Cassie sitting on the hood, drawn with colored icing, the kart's wheels being actually icing each with a cherry on top. The words 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY CASSIE' were written in colored icing with orange and blue little lightning bolts surrounding it.
Naturally, the candles were unlit; it would have been hazardous to have them lit up inside Freddy's stomach hatch.
"Ah. Allow me." Freddy politely excuses himself past Roxy to approach Cassie and the cake. "Please lean back, Superstar." He requests as his index finger folded back, revealing a built-in lighter. The bear carefully uses the little flame to light up the candles on the cake. "There we go!"
"Are you ready, Cassie?" Roxy excitedly asks while her hands rose in front of her while Freddy did the same, indicating they were about to start clapping to the birthday song. The only boy to show up to this party readies his hands as well.
"Happy birthday, Cassie!!"
-
Cassie felt her heavy eyelids flutter and creak open slightly, still feeling much too heavy to do so. She barely squinted them open so all she saw were dim blurs. Slowly she registered feeling her side to be resting on a soft but mildly unkempt surface.
Huh, she could feel some kind of fabric on her forehead, and when she tried to sit up it slid off and onto her chest, her elbows propping her up.
"Oh! Cassie!" Roxy was across from her, her endoskeleton ears wiggling lightly. She sounded happy to greet the girl.
"Uh... uh. What happened?" Cassie slurred, still a little disoriented. And if Roxy still had her eyelids, she would have blinked.
"... nothing? You fell asleep."
"Oh." Yeah, okay. That actually made sense. The girl slowly shifted until she was sitting up, slowly registering her surroundings again. She had been asleep on one of the couches in the ruined Winner Lounge room of Fazer Blast. Looking down at her lap now, she realized that what had been on her forehead was a piece of cloth, torn off one of the couches, and it had a round dark red stain on it. Roxy must have tried using it to stop or slow the bleeding on her forehead.
"You really looked like you needed to rest, so we let you be." Roxy explained; after everything Cassie has gone through down here, that was an understatement however true.
"Wait..." Cassie begins once she realizes something, looking around them. "Where is...?"
"... Freddy?" Roxy guessed. "Actually that's a different Freddy. A prototype version." The wolf felt the need to clear that up; Cassie's brain might not have had the chance to process that information. "But I don't think that matters right now, really. A prototype Freddy is better than no Freddy. He was fretting really badly over you actually! So he went back out there looking for any medical supplies while you were asleep."
But if Roxy is being honest, she doesn't think there is much of that that could be found. But if Prototype Freddy found anything at all, it would be better than nothing.
"You may have survived that elevator, but you didn't come out of it unscathed, Cassie. You need medical attention."
Cassie frowns a little but not because she disagreed with Roxy. Rather, she just didn't want to think about her moments in that elevator. "I'd... I'd rather not remember that right now, Roxy..."
The wolf goes quiet in apology... though something nags at her. "I'm sorry Cassie, but... what even happened?"
The girl groaned softly while shaking her head; she didn't want to think about it, but also understood why Roxy asked.
"I... I managed to get in the elevator, I could've escaped... but..." Cassie felt an imaginary lump form in her throat while having to hear the voice of who she thought was her friend in her skull, over and over, telling her he was willing to throw her under the bus, willing to kill her for his own benefit-- then actually attempting to do so. "... Gregory didn't let me. He... he cut the elevator... s-sent me crashing back down..."
Just thinking about it made her head hurt.
Roxy is eerily quiet, but then her ears slowly pinned back. "Gregory!? Gregory did WHAT!!?" The wolf's voice cracks with red hot anger and hatred while also trying not to blow up in front of Cassie... though her claws clearly dig into the old couch, leaving holes in them. "Why, when I get my hands on that brat..." She sneers, but doesn't finish her sentence. Her vendetta against Gregory was of no real use at this present moment. Her ears unpin from her exposed endo skull, then drop.
"... I'm so sorry, Cassie." Sorry for what, exactly? Roxy didn't have words for it. For helping Cassie escape into what essentially became another trap, perhaps?
It's not like she could've predictated that Gregory would have accessed the elevator, much less sabotage it thus sabotaging Cassie's way out. No one could truly have predictated that. Who would have imagined the brat was that much of a selfish monster, anyway? But the wolf still felt sorry.
"No matter what he did or tries to do, I'll make sure you are safe and sound, Cassie." Roxy promises through a low, subtle growl, trying to suppress her anger.
Cassie doesn't really have it in her to continue on that topic, but knew Roxy meant her words seriously. "... I know. Thanks, Roxy. You're the best." That made the ruined wolf's ears wiggle and improve her mood by a good deal; She was the best. It was great to hear that again, it's been so long.
Cassie's expression shifts, lightly fidgetting with the cloth that had been on her forehead, rather antsy to move away from that topic for the time being. "... why did Freddy want to hurt me?" She asks; it's especially confusing with him now being friendly to her. What changed his mind?
"He didn't 'want' to hurt you, believe me." Roxy starts a bit candidly, thinking how she's going to explain the situation to Cassie without getting too technical.
"A lot of his systems and protocols were down, and he didn't have his head to command a booting of those protocols. He was sticking to barely any running programming he had, which was contain and apprehend trespassers and potentially dangerous individuals." That probably explains why Prototype Freddy tried shoving her in his hazardous stomach hatch, it was just to apprehend her, and he couldn't tell how hazardous his own body was without his head to assess it.
Roxy continues. "When he detected your blood, it... let's say it force-booted or 'jump-started' those protocols into booting even without his head. We all are programmed to act immediately to help in case of injuries or symptoms of sickness. So when all those dormant systems booted back up in him, he could assess things a little better and realize you were not a dangerous trespasser, but just a child. An injured child who needed aid, no less."
"Oh..."
So... Prototype Freddy just didn't really know what he was doing. He was just trying to do what his programming could tell him in his sorry state.
"Ah! Speak of the devil..." Roxy looks out the Winners Lounge, but with her ears twitching, it seemed like she was 'seeing with her ears' Prototype Freddy returning from outside.
The headless bear walks in with a few things in his arms, which looked like old table cloths, which Roxy took from him. "I mean... those could be useful as bandages, I guess." But they needed more than that for Cassie, both robots knew that. But it's still much better than nothing at all.
"Hello, Freddy." Cassie greets softly, to which the prototype responded with a low rumbling of his inner mechanisms that almost sounded like purring. His shoulders rose slightly as if to convey excitement to see her awake. "What did he find, Roxy?"
"Table cloths." The wolf folded them then handed them to Cassie to tuck into her backpack. "Could be useful, but not much by themselves. If only we still had the Medical Stations at least..." Roxy laments, Prototype Freddy dropped his shoulders to indicate a shared feeling.
Cassie looks down at the folded fabric in her hands, looking a bit deep in thought. Until a certain thought came to her.
"I think we could ask the Daycare Attendant."
"The Daycare Attendant!?" Roxy parroted with a knee-jerk reaction. Prototype Freddy, even without a head, was clearly cringing. "You can't be serious, Cassie! That guy's clearly missing all their screws!"
"No no! It's okay! They're okay!" Cassie tries to reassure. "I had to reboot them but they seemed fine afterwards!"
"You- you rebooted them?? The Daycare Attendant???" Roxy asks incredulously, her endo jaw dropped. Prototype Freddy matched with his jagged stomach hatch lids hanging open. "No offense, Cassie. But I can hardly believe that you managed to get close enough to that lunatic to reboot them, and make it out in one piece. Any endoskeletons that wandered into the Daycare got torn to pieces!"
"Well, I never said it was easy." Cassie retorted with a shrug.
"But even then... why them?" Roxy asks at first then immediately facepalmed mentally; it's not like there were many left in this rotting place to nit-pick. But the Daycare Attendant still seemed especially volatile.
"I mean... they were always serious about having supplies and having things be organized. If anyone would know where to find things here, it would be them." Cassie points out, thinking back when she was younger and put under Sun and Moon's supervision.
One of Roxy's ears twitches as she thinks the child's reasoning over. "You make a fair point, Champion... But are you sure they're trustworthy now?"
"Yes! They actually helped me out of the Daycare after I rebooted them!" The little girl reassures.
Roxy crosses her arms, mulling over the topic, lightly stomping her foot in mild anxiety. Prototype Freddy, meanwhile, stood quiet, occasionally turning his upper body between Cassie and Roxy. "... okay. Okay. The Daycare's going to be our next stop them... But getting there might be tough. A lot of the place has collapsed thus a lot of paths have gotten blocked off by junk!"
At this, the headless Glamrock chimes up, chittering a grinding noise. Roxy's ears perk up at him. "What, you think you can open a path for us?"
"I think he could, Roxy." Cassie interludes. "He's burst his way through Fazer Blast several times!" Which was scary to think back on, when he was chasing her.
"I see..." The wolf reflects. "I guess we have a plan, then."

Have you seen this yet? I haven't seen anyone talk about it, but it's a small detail that got me thinking quite a bit about where Cassie's dad is right now. I don't think he's dead, like some have assumed (talking about the lunchboxes and Bonnie collectibles in past tense feels like it's referring to the non-current state of the objects, not the person mentioned alongside them) but it's a bit odd that Cassie doesn't bring her dad with her to save her closest friend, especially with him being a former employee who would know the place fairly well.
But with this sticky note in mind - most likely left behind for Cassie by her dad, seeing as it's found in the Glamrock Salon area which is a big location for Cassie backstory lore bits - maybe Cassie going to the Pizzaplex alone isn't that hard to believe. If Dad is off doing something else for long enough that he's leaving food money and emergency contact information, of course Cassie wouldn't go to him for help. She couldn't.
I'm actually of the mind that he could be who we play as in Help Wanted 2. There's a Fazwrench input on the elevator wall in the teaser (which we know he has), based on the note in Ruin he plans to be "gone for a while" which would be the case for whoever takes on the Help Wanted 2 job, and with Cassie's dad being pointed out so specifically in Ruin, I can only imagine Steel Wool has plans for him to appear in a future installment at some point.
(Though there's also the fact that there was only one applicant for the HW2 position, which points at that person being significant...which would either mean the player character in HW2 is someone else closer tied to the story, or Cassie's dad is a more significant character and we just don't know who that is yet.)
I hadn't seen it but I was told about it! And yeah, I find it very interesting. Atm my guess is Cassie's dad is going to be the Help Wanted 2 player. Either way he seems very important with how much Cassie references him, and the FNAF 3 number code being on the back of Cassie's Faz Wrench also catches my attention

I feel like you are one of the few people that treat Gregorys charcater serious and respect because many people treat him like some dumbass gremlin jerk just to point and laugh at or get angry at.
You make him like heā€™s smart, calculated, brave, serious, and concerned for others safety as he was shown in SB with Freddy and Vanessa and also Cassie in ruin because Gregory was being concerned for Cassieā€™s safety while heā€™s was talking to her through the staff bot in Roxyā€™s raceway chapter (rare dialogue).
Iā€™m so glad I found your ttb fic back when you uploaded the chapter of Gregory celebrating Evanā€™s birthday while also Gregory kicking Michaelā€™s ass, you and other peopleā€™s Gregory fics, and your art because if I didnā€™t then Iā€™ll probably be in despair and crazy of the constant Gregory being a complete joke and being stupid.
If help wanted 2 or a future FNAF steel wool game makes Gregory serious and how he should be then I hope I get to see more Gregory art and fics where he is not a dumbass but still makes mistakes that can be solved by himself.
im super glad i could be a breath of fresh air for you lol. i really try to characterize him how he actually acts in game (even tho we dont have a lot) and what morals etc he holds himself by. all we've seen is how he tries to help people and not offer mercy to those who dont deserve it but that doesnt mean hes evil. he works to save and help and be kind to people and thats like. all we canonically know about him lol. like he draws, and he comforted cassie when she cried on her birthday, and he saved vanessa from glitchtrap so like. idk. two instances where one he isnt even at fault or wrong for (hurting the glamrocks (gregory did not cause the pizzaplex to end up abandoned)) and the other theres a huge chance it was not even him who did it (elevator crash) and you take those as him being a jerk who only cares about himself it its like are we watching the same game rn.

Spoilers for FNaF DLC ruin under the cut
Ok, now most of the fandom hates Gregory. We won't even talk about that that was probably the only option? They couldn't do anything. We couldn't hear in what tone he spoke? He was sad. It was like he was sorry. She literally was his friend.
I won't say that "he's a kid" or something like that. What happened was unfortunate and awful. He betrayed her.
But he said that he tried to reach her all night. Maybe because he wanted to tell her to get out, so she couldn't release Mimic?
But Gregory could reach her only in the end. When Mimic was already released.
He said "It's not your fault. I know you did it for me. To save me." like he actually cared about her, and didn't want her to blame herself, that she freed a monster.
So think from their side: Because Mimic is now free, he would know how to get out of the basement, and eventually, from the pizzaplex, by Cassie. After, he would follow Vanessa, Gregory, probably Freddy too (if he's with them), and Cassie along with them.
Ok, what Gregory has done is all shitty and bad. After all, he betrayed her. But it's still not like he wanted to do that in the first place. Screw it, he probably didn't wanted to do it at all. Cassie was his friend, and he's not that soulless.
I'll be honest, i am sorry for Cassie, she always deserved better. And what happened to her and Roxy is so...horrible and sad. I feel bad for them.
It is so horrible and terrifying when your friend betrays and kills you. But it is also terrible when you have to betray and kill your friend.
