Its been months and I still can't stop thinking about the ending of season 2 and how it completely shattered the idea of Lu Guang being an almost cold and discreet 2d character.

Everytime he accidentally or not put Cheng Xiaoshi into situations aggravating his emotional and mental state, I cant imagine his own inner turmoil and anxiety at trying to calculate every single outcome and keep everything in control bc a troubled Cheng Xiaoshi is much better than a dead one.

The way he is always so protective of Cheng Xiaoshi bc he is "naive" of the different timelines is just peak romance, peak character design.
