Mao Lizi  毛栗子 born 1950 in Shanxi province, China

He learnt painting at the age of eleven.

1979 He became a member of Xingxin group : Stars,* first vanguard artistic movement in China.

1980 He participated in the first exhibition of the group, then in the second in Beijing ( 1981 )

1987 He obtained his Master's degree in Fine Art from the C.A.F.A. ( oil painting department ).

1990 He was invited to the National hight School of Art in Paris, France.1998 He participated in the exhibition 5000 years of Chinese Art at the Guggenheim Museum in New York  United States.He lives and works in Beijing  China.
