The cover story of this issue involved a largely manual method of turning outlines into "PETSCII" graphics. All of the examples provided were from Star Wars; befitting the characters on the cover, there were several articles on artificial intelligence inside, one (reprinted) by Isaac Asimov. Nostalgia for the old days of computing was already in effect through a reprinted article explaining how Bob Albrecht had begun teaching FORTRAN to high school students in 1962.

Here are some of the new items I was given at Christmas, other then the C-3P0, a reissue from 2021, I bought that for myself. Scream box set VHS, a couple action figures, Sci- Fi book with cool cover art never heard of it, a cool Star Blazers graphic novel, an antique travel ink bottle, and a sketchbook. Merry Christmas thanks for the gifts!!!!!!
