Fresh Blood
The sight that awaited Percival when he walked into the back alley, their usual meeting place, was something he didn’t know how to process. There was Credence, which wasn’t unusual, but he was crouching on the floor, hands covering his eyes and his breathing heavy. Next to him laid a cat, covered in so much blood that it was almost impossible to recognize as that. And it wasn’t only the cat. There was blood all over the place, on the floor, on the wall, on Credence’s clothes, his hands, everywhere.
It wasn’t like Percival has never seen something like this before. It wasn’t even uncommon in his line of work. It wasn’t even the amount of blood that disturbed him, or the dead animal. It was the fact that this was Credence cowering and weeping on the floor.
“Credence…” he whispered, not sure how to approach the boy, but taking a tentative step forward. He stopped short, however, when Credence’s head shot up, an expression of pure terror on his face, his eyes unfocused, tears streaming down his pale, blood covered cheeks. He was shaking so violently, Percival wanted to cover him in a blanket even though he knew the shaking didn’t come from the cold and probably wouldn’t stop.
Credence opened and closed his mouth several times without saying anything. His hiccups travelled through the empty alley way and Percival wanted it to stop, didn’t want to see Credence in distress like this. But he also knew there was no easy way to solve this, no magical cure to take all the pain and suffering away. Credence got turned and there was no cure for that.
“Mr. Graves…” Credence whispered, a few minutes too late to be a response to his words from before. “I didn't… I… wasn't…” he said, deep breaths between his words like he had trouble forming them. Credence suddenly looked down at his hands like he had just noticed how bloody they were and his breathing quickened again, fresh tears rolling down his cheeks.
Percival had watched the whole scene without moving, but Credence’s next words made him jump.
“Help me…” a new wave of hiccups rolled over Credence and Percival spun into action, falling to his knees and pulling Credence into a hug, his bloody clothes be damned.
He knew it was irrational, he knew Credence was supposed to be dangerous, he knew he should eliminate him immediately or at least bring him to the according authorities he was working with. But he couldn’t. He just couldn’t bring himself to do anything of the sort. Instead he went in to comfort and soothe.
Credence was still shaking under his embrace, gripping onto Percival’s shirt for dear life, his eyes focused on a point Percival couldn’t see. He knew it was a dangerous move, but he took Credence’s face in his hands to make him look up at him, wiping his tears away with his thumbs. Credence’s eyes finally seemed to settle on him, now really taking him in.
“I didn’t mean to do it.” Credence gasped out eventually, his eyes so full of sadness and regret, his pale skin contrasting with the blood still present everywhere.
“I know.” Percival answered and swallowed thickly. Of course he didn’t mean to, but that didn’t change the facts. Credence was one of them now, irretrievable. He could tell Credence was trying to take deep breaths, albeit failing miserably.
“I just- I couldn’t do it anymore! I was so hungry.” Credence weeped and Percival pulled him to his chest, trying to calm him down.
“It’s alright, Credence. Everything is going to be okay.” he whispered into his hair, stroking his neck. And if Percival just kept telling himself that, he might even believe it at some point.
(Whoaaa, what is this?? So I desperately need some vampire!Credence content and this was something that popped into my mind. It’s supposed to be part of a bigger story, but I’m not sure if I should write it or not? Also that was my first time making a moodboard, I hope you like it :D

Helping Hand | Credence Barebone x Reader
Tumblr media
RATING: Teen | GENRE: Hurt/Comfort | 1,808 words SUMMARY: You offer to help Credence from his situation. [Read on AO3]
The first time you saw the almost painfully pitiful young man named Credence Barebone, it was like looking in a mirror of your past self. You saw it in his downcast eyes and bowed head. You saw it in his frown-marred lips and hunched shoulders. You were once the same as he was. Perhaps the circumstances weren't exactly the same, but you knew that he was a victim, similar to how you are now a survivor.
Fortunately, you had people who cared about you and managed to help you with your situation, and when you saw that poor young man all meek and vulnerable, you couldn't bring yourself to turn a blind eye. Even if you didn't know him personally, you believed that nobody deserved that kind of ill treatment, whatever it was. You couldn't say for certain what the young man was going through, but you did know that he was in pain. And so, you approached him.
You first approached him when he was all alone in the corner of a street. You realized that although alone and afraid of social interactions, he held a more relaxed air than he usually did at those NSPS meetings you've seen him at. It wasn't much of a difference, but it was a subtle one all the same that you figured wouldn't hurt.
The young man kept his head bowed, but that still didn't stop you from wearing the friendliest smile you could muster as you walked up to him. Your shoes entered the male's vision which was focused on the ground, prompting him to look up at you through his lashes, and your heart clenched the moment you made eye contact, the pain and undeniable strength of being able to perservere this long becoming much more evident now that you were this close to him.
"Hello," you greeted him softly with a small tilt of your head. It looked like he really tried to return your greeting but was unable to and instead opted for a curt nod instead. You smiled appreciatively at his effort nevertheless before gesturing towards the papers in his hands. "May I have one, please?"
He gave another brief nod before handing one over to you while muttering out a quiet, "Thank you..."
You accepted the paper even though you had no real use for it; you just merely needed an excuse to approach him. "No, thank you. ...I like your eyes."
The young man seemed to gawk at that, and for a moment you wondered if it was an inappropriate comment on your part. But then again, you understood full well just how much a small and simple compliment like that can brighten somebody's day, and you could only hope that it did so for the male.
"Th-Thank you," he tripped on his own words, unable to think of anything else to say to such an unexpected comment as the corners of his lips started to lift up into a bashful smile.
Seeing his shoulders visibly relax the slightest bit, you continued, "May I ask for your name?"
"I-It's Credence, Miss..."
"Credence..." you repeated his name underneath your breath to get a feel for it before offering a dazzling smile. "You have a very lovely name, Credence. I like it a lot."
This time, the young man was left utterly speechless. The papers in his hands crinkled the slightest bit at the small increase of his grip on them, but you couldn't discern just what exactly he was feeling right now. Figuring it would be rude to not give your name, and also so that he could familiarize himself with you, you gave your own name and introduced yourself.
A sense of accomplishment filled your chest when you saw Credence relax even more around you. Even if it was temporary, you wanted to give this young man some comfort in his day, hoping it would be enough to give him strength to continue moving forward.
"You're quite tall," you note to keep the conversation going. Despite his poor posture, Credence's height was still above yours.
Credence had no comment and only nodded his head to acknowledge that he heard you, offering a quiet hum that you almost missed. Perhaps this was too much stimulation for him right now, the interaction exhausting him, so you decided to leave things as they were now. Extending a hand out for the male to shake, you said, "I hope to see you again."
Credence stared at your outstretched hand, hesitating for a moment as he weighed his thoughts. Eventually, he bowed his head for another nod, but this one more of resolve for himself rather than anything else before timidly taking yours in his. "M-Me too," he admitted, surprising the both of you.
You had to stop yourself from outwardly reacting to the feel of the raised flesh from his palm against yours. Although it did take some effort, you managed to pull up a smile, hoping that it was reassuring enough as you shook the male's hand. "It was a pleasure to meet you, Credence." You called him by his name again, acknowledging him as a person and equal which he seemed to appreciate. "I hope you have a good evening and night."
You slowly loosened your grip on his hand, gauging his reaction. The young man seemed reluctant to let go, so you allowed your hand to linger just a bit longer to maintain that contact, waiting for Credence to retract his hand first. His fingers curled themselves into a ball which he held close to his chest, relishing the feeling that lingered from that gentle touch.
Flashing him one last smile, you turned on your heel and started to walk back in the direction you came from. As you increased the distance between the two of you, you turned around to look at Credence, only to be surprised when you found him staring at you. He seemed to jump from embarrassment at having been caught, but before he could lower his gaze, you waved your hand to him. Slowly, he lifted his own hand and returned your wave with a small one, prompting you to grin widely at him before turning back around to head home.
Thankfully, Credence was able to return his poor excuse of a home in time, sparing him a lashing from his adoptive mother. The entire time, the young man kept the hand that he had used to shake with yours tightly furled and close to his heart. It was almost like he was trying to preserve the warmth and sense of comfort he felt from that moment for as long as he could.
His mind wandered back to you, the kind person that approached him. Acknowledged him. Complimented him. All that attention and compassion felt so foreign to him, but Credence realized just how much he wished for such things. He believed that he was selfish for desiring them, but after having a taste from you, he found himself wishing for them even more and more.
The next few days, you hadn't seen Credence at all. Even if you were worried for him, he was still technically still just a stranger to you, and you had your own life. Credence undoubtedly knew this, but he still couldn't help but hope. His gaze would flicker throughout the streets for your figure without him even realizing it. You had told him you liked his eyes, and although it was something so small, it gave him a temporary small boost in confidence, and it felt good. It felt good to be confident.
The next time you saw Credence, you had literally bumped into him. It was any regular day, or so you thought, until your eyes fell across the person who inflicted those emotional scars on you. Even if you were stronger than you were back then, you still weren't ready to face them directly, so you turned on your heel and ran in the opposite direction. You looked back to check if they had seen you, so your attention was directed elsewhere when you crashed into a tall and lanky frame.
Credence yelped, his posture causing him to fall forwards to the ground when you collided with his back. The fliers he was holding fluttered in the air before lying scattered on the ground. You cursed underneath your breath for having caused a scene, profuse apologies spilling out of your mouth as you bent down to help retrieve the sheets of paper.
"It's you..." Credence murmured, but you were still able to catch it. You glanced towards him, and you didn't think he realized the corners of his lips twitching into a pleased smile from seeing you. It was flattering in a way, and you sheepishly averted your gaze back to the fliers in your hands.
"I'm really happy to see you again, Credence," you admitted, and you saw his eyes light up.
You remembered his name, and his presence brought you joy which made the male's heart swell with overwhelming emotion. Once again, he found his words becoming caught in his throat, and he cursed his own uselessness and inabilities, but before he could fall any deeper into those dark thoughts, you continued.
"I know this might be weird of me to ask, but would you mind sparing a moment of your time with me?"
Credence tilted his head to the side, curious as to what spurred this on until he saw your gaze focused on his exposed hands, and he immediately balled his hands into fists to hide his injuries. Daring to spare a glance your way, the young man saw your eyes full of sympathy and understanding, an almost pained smile on your features.
"You can refuse if you want, but I want to help you, Credence. Really, I do," you press a bit further, making your intentions known.
Help him. You wanted to help him. Credence's chest clenched at the idea. Would it really be okay for him to accept your help? Was he really worthy of such kindness? Would you really be able to help him? Could it truly be possible?
The young man pressed his lips together in a firm line as he considered his response. He glanced towards you, and he saw the patience in your eyes. ...Yes, he could trust you. He decided to trust you. With apprehension and hope swelling in his chest, Credence offered you a trembling hand.
"Please, help me..." he whispered, acknowledging his lack of power in his situation.
You discreetly breathed out a sigh of relief as you accepted his hand into your own. Just like how your friends did everything in their power to support you in your time of need, you would do everything you could for Credence and make him realize his own true strength.

I will write pretty much anything from fluff to angst to smut
I absolutely will not write any smut for underage characters
You can request other characters from the listed fandoms but I may or may not write for them. Some characters are not listed because A) I don't know enough about them, B) I don't like them, or C) they're far too young for me to consider writing for them. But I may have forgotten some characters I will write for so it can't hurt to ask
For headcanons, you can request as many characters as you want so long as they're in the same fandom
For oneshots, one character at a time please
Matchups are accepted but please give a very detailed description of your personality, hobbies, and likes/dislikes. I would much rather have 3 novel worthy asks in my inbox then have a one sentence description. Also, one fandom at a time for this please
If you wanna ask questions about the author, be my guest but I have to warn you, I'm an oversharer

What’s Your Own Favorite Story of the Year?: hmm... new morning for bagginshield. probably one of us most know (sooner or later) for gradence Do You Have Any Fanfic or Profic Goals for the New Year?: to remember that I finish long, chaptered fics before posting them for a REASON lmao otherwise probably just to finish wips, make sure I get some quality bagginshield in :D Story of Mine Most Under-Appreciated by the Universe, In My Opinion: hmmmmm.... a couple of them this year that have made me genuinely sad tbh Most Fun Story to Write: I had an absolute blast writing green, green grass of home Most Unintentionally Telling Story: if Credence Barebone and his anxiety exist in the fic, WHOOPS. the most relatable character I've ever written. his anxiety is very different from bilbo's, who I don't relate to nearly as much (in anxiety. he is highly relatable in other ways). really interesting to think about that actually haha Biggest Surprise: that I wrote not one, not two, but THREE stucky fics and one has over 500 kudos!!!! still shocks me tagging: whoever has NOT been tagged yet, which means if you're thinking 'well I haven't been tagged' then guess what! you're tagged c: and tag me back so I can read yours! much love to you all!

Once Upon A Time...
A/N: Hi! I know I haven’t uploaded anything in a long while, BUT I’ve kept myself busy with writing. I know I had requests I haven’t uploaded yet, and that’s because I’m working on it. Recently, I started watching the Fantastic Beast film series and fell head over heels in love with Theseus Scamander. So, here’s a little mini-series.
As usual, all my Y/N’s are black. Period. If you want a white Y/N, refer to the other gazillion fanfics that fail to be inclusive to black women :) with that out the way, enjoy!
Word Count: 1.5k
Warnings: None, just heartbreak :(
Tumblr media
Once upon a time, it was Y/N Y/L/N and Theseus Scamander against the world. Having spent nearly their entire life together, nearly everyone expected them to end up together. Hell, even they expected to end up together. And, they almost did. Y/N loved him more than she loved life itself. Theseus did not.
Once upon a time, Y/N was prepared to spend the rest of her life with Theseus. But their fairytale romance didn’t end in a happily ever after.
The small gang had run out of places to hide. Wherever they want, Grindelwald’s supporters seemed to find – and try to kill – them. They had exhausted every hiding spot in the entire continent of Europe, it seemed.
“We can’t just keep running.” Tina fumed after nearly escaping yet another attack. They trudged through the alleys of London. Try as they might, it was hard to stay inconspicuous with such a large group. If it were just Newt, Tina, and Jacob running it’d be easier – but, their ranks had been joined by Yusuf Kama, Nagini, and Theseus Scamander.
“We have to leave Europe. We can’t keep hiding out like animals.” Yusuf said.
“We could always go back to New York?” Jacob halfheartedly suggested. After losing Queenie, everything Jacob did was halfhearted. It was as if Queenie took his very essence with her when she left.
“No, New York would be too obvious. They know who we are, so they must know where we live.” Tina interjected, just as halfheartedly. She had lost her sister to an evil she couldn’t find. All she could do was run; run away from her sister.
Newt noticed her sadness and took her hand in his, offering her a small smile. Theseus watched his little brother and Tina hold hands, which only reminded him of what he had lost: Leta Lestrange.
Theseus’ bitter thoughts were interrupted by his brother. “New York may be too obvious but going to America isn’t such a bad idea…” Newt’s voice trailed off and he tentatively glanced at his older brother, who was lost in his own world.
“Theseus…” Newt softly said. He let go of Tina’s petite hand and walked over to his brother, putting a soft hand on his broad shoulders.
“What?” Theseus saw everyone now looking at him, and he wondered if he missed something important when he was lost in his own head. “Did I miss something?”
Newt took a deep breath. He knew this wasn’t going to end well. “I know a place we can hideout. In America. But you’re not going to like it…”
The day was September 18th, 1927.
The crisp autumn brisk bristled past Y/N as she swiftly walked through a nearly empty park. It was nearly 8AM and, though nearly everyone else in Washington DC was asleep, Y/N Y/L/N had made a point of waking up at 5 in the morning for the sole purpose of getting fresh baked goods from Maryland.
See, her favorite bakery was nearly an hour-long drive from her home and the goods always ran out fast. It had taken her weeks to devise a working and precise plan, but she had finally done it. Now, it was just this eerie park that separated where she parked her car and her apartment that delayed her breakfast.
“If the bread gets cold… after all my hard work… so help me Merlin…” she huffed, hastening her paste. Finally, she found herself in front of her apartment – a stout yet charming brown shoe-box shaped building that was snuggled between what seemed like a billion other buildings that fit the same description. Lucky for her, Y/N lived on the ground floor and only had to climb the front steps and insert her key.
“Home sweet home.” She thought to herself, setting the bag of baked goods on a nearby table. She shrugged off her light coat, lamenting if the food was worth not sleeping in. Lord knows when she may get another opportunity; with the rise of Grindelwald, her work at the ministry had nearly quadrupled.
But it kept her busy. It distracted her from everything ailing her life; how war was imminent, worrying for her family’s safety, worrying for her own safety, worrying for…him.
As much as it pained her, she kept close tabs on him. Whenever a European Auror turned up dead because of Grindelwald or one of his followers, she prayed it wasn’t him. Y/N had never been a religious person; she believed in magic, but that was it. To this day, it still puzzled her how the man who had completely crushed her heart made her believe in the unbelievable.
She shook her head. “Stop thinking about him.” She muttered to herself, taking a deep breath. “Lord knows he’s not thinking about you. Lord knows he was never thinking about you…” She tossed her coat onto the couch, making a mental note to put it away later.
For now, she needed the only thing that would drive him out of her mind: food. Through her heartbreak and depression, there was only one constant in her mind. The one thing that drove her out of bed nearly every day. The one thing that didn’t attempt to get her to “talk about it” or “put herself out there.” The one thing that she loved more than…
“Theseus!”
Lo and behold, standing right there in her petite kitchen was Theseus Scamander. The man who had obliviated her heart.
She nearly fell back in shock, never expecting to see his face again. After all these years… he still looked the same. His eyes were still dark with slight speckles on gold. His auburn hair still had those unruly curls that he hated and often unsuccessfully tried to gel back, but Y/N always loved. Most of her favorite memories with him included him cuddling up to her while she played with his hair.
She narrowed her eyes and peered closer at him, taking in everything that had changed. Yes, he had certainly aged, but he looked thoroughly exhausted. He had bags under his eyes, and small vanishing wounds riddled his body. He looked tired. Defeated. She had never seen that look in him.
He looked like she did when he left her. Heartbroken.
“So sorry to intrude like this, Y/N” his brother, Newt, interjected. Y/N only then realized that there were other people present.
“What the hell is going on?”
Newt provided a quick summarization of what the group had gone through the past couple of days: the fight during Grindelwald’s assembly, Queenie’s betrayal, Credence switching sides, and Leta’s death. At that last comment, Y/N’s eyes instinctively darted to Theseus, who kept his trained on the ground. As a matter of what, he was trying desperately hard to avoid eye contact.
“We wouldn’t be here if we weren’t desperate, Y/N.” Newt said. The Scamander’s and Y/N had a long and complicated history, and Newt hated having to impose this on his old friend. He didn’t like the idea of involving her in an already volatile situation.
Y/N, on the other hand, wouldn’t hear a word otherwise. “Of course, you’re all welcome to stay. I wish you’d come earlier and save yourselves the trouble of running around London seeking refuge.”
Newt gratefully nodded, taking Tina’s hand in his. “Don’t worry, I still remember my way around your flat.” At that, he and his... girlfriend(?) apparated away – probably to another room to get some privacy.
Now Y/N was left alone with a group of people she didn’t know. Well, she knew Theseus – once upon a time – but not as well as she thought she did, obviously.
“Alright, then. Are any of you hurt? Hungry? I’ve got baked goods from the best place in the country.” Y/N pushed further into the kitchen, clutching her bag of baked goods with her. Brushing past Theseus, she caught a sniff of the most comforting and familiar smell she knew. In fact, it was the exact same smell of her Amortentia potion. “I’ve got about a dozen bagels and some doughnuts. Oh, and cookies too. You might be wondering why I have so much food, after all, I’m just one person. And that’s a very funny question…” Y/N blabbered away. As if talking would fill the awkward space.
Because if she fell silent, she’d have to become more aware of her surroundings. That would mean looking at Theseus. Maybe even talking to him. And it would, ultimately, lead to her reliving every wonderfully painful memory she ever shared with him.
“Y/N…? Now, where have I heard that name before?” Jacob asked.
“Maybe from Newt? We went to Hogwarts together for about three years, after all.”
“Only three? Isn’t wizarding school for seven years, or something like that?”
“Yes, but I started school at Uagadou. It’s the wizarding school in Africa – I’m from Senegal, by the way, don’t let the English accent fool you- but then I transferred to Hogwarts in my fourth year…” Y/N trailed off, not fully wanting to finish the story as it didn’t paint her in the best light.
“…After she transfigured into a panther and attacked a kid for teasing her brothers.” Theseus finished. Y/N’s head snapped up, sending her Y/H/C locks flying in disarray, and stared at him. He was still tentatively looking at the ground, but his face held a knowing smile. “And then just a year after starting at Hogwarts, she did the exact same thing to another student.” He slowly raised his head. With his eyes partially hidden behind his disheveled auburn curls, it seemed as if he was staring into her naked soul.
“Magnolia Harper,” Y/N recalled, “She bloody deserved it too.”
“And what exactly did the poor girl do to warrant an animal attack?” Nagini whispered, her head cocked to the side in curiosity.
Y/N could feel the temperature in her cheeks rising by the second. At that times like this, she was glad her melanin complexion made it difficult for anyone tell she was blushing. The entire story was bloody embarrassing, especially given the situation everything was in right now. She chewed on the bottom of her lip, trying to piece together exactly how to phrase her answer.
Luckily, Theseus came to the rescue. “There was a rumor that she was planning on asking me to the Yule Ball and Y/N got insanely jealous. Pounced on her during Dumbledore’s practice dueling sessions and nearly clawed her entire face off.”
“Oh, so you two were an item. How sweet, young love.” Nagini mulled, smiling at the two. Yusuf stood beside her, solemnly nodding his head.
The pair looked down, the nostalgic smiles slipping from their faces. All the dissipating anger Y/N harbored suddenly came bubbling to the surface, remembering Theseus’ betrayal like a fresh wound. Theseus, on the other hand, felt the guilt and grief wash over him like a Tsunami.
“Not exactly. It turns out I was worried about the wrong girl…”

Credence x Fem!Reader
Credence Barebone x Fem!Reader (Soulmate AU, Modern)
notes: i had a ton of fun writing my first request, and i came up with a random idea, here you go!
warning(s): none, except for fluffy credence :3
cast: Credence, (Y/n), Mary Lou, Newt, Jacob, Queenie, Tina. (all from fantastic beasts)
key: (Y/n) = your name, (f/c) = favorite color, and (f/b/g) = favorite baked good.
Credence had always wondered what it must be like to have a soulmate. He would watch as soulmates walked by him on the streets as he handed out fliers, his slight jealousy bubbling up inside him at the sight of each couple. He would daydream about meeting his own soulmate, whoever they may be. He thought about how lovely it would be to live out the rest of his life with his soulmate, away from Mary Lou and in a peaceful home out in the middle of nowhere. But, his dreams always seemed to crack and crumble with each day that passed without him meeting his soulmate.
It was a snowy December day, quite common for New York. Credence was on the street corner, handing out fliers as always whilst wearing his usual broad-brimmed hat to try and keep the falling snow out of his eyes, when he saw a woman across the street. She was in a very inviting bakery, looked to be around his age, and was talking with a man that Credence had seen before at one of Mary Lou’s rallies. Credence looked at his wrist, reading the first words his soulmate would say to him. ‘I am so sorry, I’m just so clumsy, aren’t I?’ His wrist read, it was rather long, but he loved it just the same.
It meant that his soulmate was probably as clumsy as he was, and they were kind enough to apologize to him. A soft smile graced his lips at the thought of it, deciding to take a break from the cold to talk to the woman in the bakery. Credence made sure to look like he was just giving out more fliers as he made his way towards the bakery, not wanting Mary Lou to catch on to what he was doing. Credence opened the door, when said woman accidentally walked into him and made him fall out of surprise, his fliers flying up into the air as she fell on top of him, the fliers beginning to fall back down around them as he looked up at her. “I am so sorry, I’m just so clumsy aren’t I?” The woman stated, a worried expression on her face as he looked up at her with surprise.
“I-It’s my fault, I s-should’ve watched w-where I was g-going.” Credence stated, watching the woman on top of him return his shocked expression. She immediately stood up and helped him up, brushing him off before she looked back up at him. “S-Soulmate?” She asked, making Credence nod as he showed her his wrist, being careful not to show the scars on his hands. She did the same, yet didn’t hide her hands as a soft smile began to grow on her face, a sort of euphoria filling her as she looked into Credence’s chocolate brown eyes. “I’m (Y/n), what’s your name?” (Y/n) asked, Credence returning the smile as he answered her.
“Credence, Credence Barebone.” Credence stated, slightly surprised he didn’t stutter. “It’s very nice to meet you Credence.” (Y/n) stated, shaking his hand as a light blush dusted across his face, gently shaking her hand. Eventually Jacob, the owner of the bakery, came out from the kitchen and looked between Credence and (Y/n), a smile on his face as always. “Who’s your friend, (Y/n)?” Jacob asked, his wife, Queenie, following behind Jacob. “This is my soulmate, Credence. Credence, this is my close friend, Jacob.” (Y/n) introduced them to each other, watching as they both shook hands.
“Good for you, (Y/n)! I knew you would find your soulmate eventually.” Jacob stated, smiling as Queenie came out from behind Jacob. “Hello Credence, I’m Queenie! I’m Jacob’s wife, would you like some hot cocoa? It’s on the house!” Queenie asked, Credence was taken aback slightly at how kind she was towards him even when they just met. “Oh, it’s no problem, really!” Queenie stated, unable to stop herself from reading Credence’s mind automatically as she began to make some hot cocoa for all of them, including Tina and Newt who were in Jacob and Queenie’s apartment above the bakery. The statement left Credence confused, while (Y/n) knew what Queenie had most likely done and tried to change the subject. “So Credence, would you like anything to eat? I can only imagine how cold you were outside. I saw you on the street corner, and you’ve been there for a while now. Besides, you aren’t wearing a proper coat for these temperatures.” (Y/n) stated, noticing how thin the black cardigan that Credence was wearing, causing him to slightly nod as he noticed (Y/n) had a (f/c) scarf and a dark gray coat with her, much more protection from the cold than what he was wearing.
Credence slightly smiled, glad to know that his soulmate wouldn’t risk getting sick like himself, since Mary Lou never really gave him a proper coat. “Here, go on ahead and hang up your hat and coat here, I know they probably aren’t doing much for you now.” Jacob stated, taking out a mix of a wooden coat and hat rack from his storage. He placed it by the front door of his bakery, walking back behind the counter as he watched Credence take off his coat. “T-Thank you for the hospitality, I really appreciate it.” Credence stated, his voice soft as he hung up his coat and hat. “Hot cocoa is done!” Queenie stated, smiling as she poured each of them a glass, smiling as she heard Newt and Tina begin to return back downstairs, most likely finished with discussing about the magical creatures in Newt’s suitcase.
“O-Oh, hello Credence.” Newt stated, stuttering out of slight surprise from seeing Credence there, Tina’s expression becoming a mix of worry and confusion. “What are you doing here, Credence?” Tina asked, her tone calm as not to scare the usually timid man in front of her. “I just wanted to talk with (Y/n)..that’s all.” Credence stated his tone at a now normal level as Tina smiled, looking over at (Y/n) “Found your soulmate?” Tina asked, receiving a confirming nod from (Y/n). “Good, that’s good..that’s good, right?” Newt asked, his socializing skills hadn’t really improved since Credence last met Newt. “Yes, it’s very good Newt.” (Y/n) confirmed, causing Credence to look over at her with a smile.
After they all ate and drank their hot cocoa, (Y/n) and Credence began to walk through the snow-covered streets together, (Y/n) had given Credence a proper coat while Credence continued to keep an arm on her shoulder, doing his best to keep her warm. (Y/n) carried a bag of (f/b/g), planning to share them with Credence later. As they walked in the snow, holding each other’s hand, Credence spotted Mary Lou beginning to walk towards him with an angry expression on her face, causing him to let out a yelp. (Y/n) looked over, a scared expression on her face as she watched Mary Lou begin to get closer, Credence standing protectively in front of (Y/n). “What are you doing with that witch, Credence?” Mary Lou asked, hissing out in anger as she looked at (Y/n), calling her a witch to try and scare Credence away from her.
“S-She’s my soulmate..” Credence stated, his confidence dwindling as the fear of being punished began to eat away at him. As Mary Lou continued to insult (Y/n), (Y/n) finally had it, taking Credence’s hand tightly and apparating to the front door of her apartment. Credence felt dizzy as he looked around, clearly confused about where they were and where Mary Lou was. “It’s okay Credence, she isn’t here.” (Y/n) stated, surprising Credence as he looked at the apartment door, which was the same color as (Y/n)’s scarf. “Is this your place?” Credence asked, receiving a nod from (Y/n).
“I’m sorry if I scared you..I was just trying to get away from that awful woman. Please tell me you can forgive me?” (Y/n) asked, her voice soft as Credence’s eyes widened, he didn’t expect (Y/n) to apologize. “You d-don’t need to apologize, really..” Credence stated, slowly hugging her as (Y/n) nodded against his chest, making Credence notice how she was short compared to him. “Wanna go inside?” (Y/n) asked, smiling as Credence nodded, walking into her apartment and sitting down on the couch. And as they began to watch a movie together with blankets on top of them to keep them warm, the snow began to fall again, and the winter moon began to rise higher into the dark night sky.

Someone once told me God was a lie. He was wrong. As you can see...
I am no lie.
Inspired by this fic. Please zoom in on the image to get a clearer picture of whats going on.
Or, the AU where Graves hurt Credence so badly that the priest decided to take revenge by literally turning Graves into his personal Jesus.

You Need Love Too, I’ll Be There to Give It.
Not Requested. I saw Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald and I fell in love with Credence. There is spoilers for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
You’re dating Credence behind everyone back and you save him in the trains station.
Tumblr media
It all started when when Credence and I were 18 and he was hanging out fliers outside of my bakery job. My boss told me to go outside and tell him to move.
Flash Back
“Y/N go outside and tell that boy to go away. He knows he’s not suppose to pass them out in front of here.” Mr. Wilson says to me pointing outside.
I sigh and grab my coat walking outside.
“Sir?” I say walking toward him.
The boy keeps his head down still holding out fliers to people.
“Sir?” I say again walking closer tapping him on the shoulder. He jumps and turns toward me, head still down. “I’m sorry but my boss says you can’t stand here.”
“S-Sorry,” He says looking up a little. His eyes light up a little. I blush looking at him.
“Whats your name?” I ask looking into his beautiful brown eyes.
He blushes a little then looks down at the ground, “C-Credence.”
“Well Credence, my name is Y/N. Its very nice to meet you,” I say sweetly.
Flash Back Over
Ever since then every time I saw Credence I stopped to say hi and talk to him. After about 4 months we actually started dating. Its been 2 years and we still sneak around so his adopted mother doesn’t know. I found out its him thats the  Obscurus that’s been going around. He only hurts been who’ve hurt him. I wasn’t afraid then, I’m not afraid now. He also found out I’m a witch. We trust each other with everything.
I’m sitting in my apartment building when someone knocks on the door. I look toward the door confused. I wasn’t expecting anyone today. I stand up from my couch, walking over to the door. opening it. Credence is standing on the other side looking down at his feet with tears falling down his face.
“Credence. What happened? Are you okay?” I grab his hand pulling him inside.
“I-I-I k-killed her” he says tearing up even harder. I wrap my arms around him. He puts his face into my neck, sobbing.
“It’s okay Credence. I’m here.” I rub his back.
“I-I’m sorry” He whispers holding me tighter.
Before I can say anything Aurors burst in my door. Credence turns quickly putting me behind him.
“Credence, you need to come with us,” Graves says walking toward us slowly.
Credence starts shaking and black vines start coming from his body.
“Y/N, you need to back away.” Graves snaps at me.
“D-D-Don’t you t-talk to h-her like that.” Credence says shaking even harder. Suddenly his body is engulfed into the black vines  and the obscurus busts down my wall and he flies out of my apartment. Graves looks at me.
“Where is he going?”
“I don’t know. You are the Auror. You find him,” I glare at him.
All the Aurors runs out my door and I wait a few minutes before I run down headed toward the train station. Credence and I were talking about running away. I know that would be the place he would go. I sneak behind the shield the Aurors have put up. I run down the stairs looking for him. I see a man run past me down the tracks. I follow him knowing were looking for the same person. We find Credence sitting in the tracks holding his needs as he leans forward.
“Credence” The man says innocently. “I’m here to help you. I can help you control it. I can protect you.”
Credence looks up at him with tears in his eyes. His eyes light up when he looks behind the man.
“Credence” I say running toward him.
The man stops me by grabbing me behind the waist pulling me toward him, “Don’t”
“D-don’t t-touch her” Credence says standing up his eyes going white. The man lets me go and I run to Credence. He wraps his arms around me his eyes going back to his normal brown color. The Minister of Magic for America walks down with Graves.
“Y/N, do you know this boy?” She asks.
“Yes Ma’am.” I say turning to her. “This is my boyfriend Credence. He can’t help it, His mother beat him and he couldn’t show his magic so the obscurus was formed and comes out when hes angry or sad. He never meant to hurt anyone. Please I can help him control it.” i beg her.
“No we need-” Graves tries to say.
“Well Y/N if you think you can help him, alright.” She says nodding to me then turns toward Graves. He looks at her but his eyes change for a second going from two different colors back to one color. Everyone with a wand raises them. I turn to Credence and wrap my arms around him.
“Thank you,” he whispers into my hair.
“Anything for you Credence”

Worried
Request: a newt scamander x reader where the reader gets injured in the fight with Grindelwald/ graves and Newt can’t protect her because credence is still in danger.
Fandom: Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, Newt Scamander x fem!reader
Warnings: A bit angsty, violence (through spells), mention of blood
A/N: I had the time and inspiration to do this today!! And now I’m off to watch that little one’s swimming school, see ya ♥
At first I thought about going straight into action but it would have been too short if I did that :D So here, you can have some Credence too! And some of the dialogues have been improvised, so everything isn’t as they are in the movies. But that’s good, right?

The fight was terrifying. Percival Graves had gone mad. What he thought he was doing? Pieces from the metro station’s roof fell down on the metro tracks and Credence… he was extremely scared. His obscurus didn’t help the situation and you were sure that soon the whole metro station would collapse from all the fighting. You were positioned behind one of the metro pillars and squeezed your wand like your life was dependent on it.
“Stupefy!” you heard yourself shout after you lunged from your hide, but Graves was quicker than you. He just whipped his wand without saying anything and the magical shield appeared in front of him. You ran to the obscurus. “Credence, hey, calm down.” you said to him and on that moment, the obscurus stopped spinning. You smiled calmingly at it – him. “It’s Y/N, remember? Calm down. Let’s talk.” as you spoke, you went closer to the hide, to safety from the fighting. You didn’t want to leave Newt alone fighting, but someone had to calm Credence too. The obscurus started slowly shrinking and became smaller… and smaller… and smaller. And finally, you saw Credence sit in front of you, his eyes puffy and swollen from all the crying. You sighed and reached out to grab Credence’s hand. “Everything is alright. You can control it. Come home with me and Newt. Please?” you squeezed Credence’s hand a bit and his mouth opened just a little bit. His lower lip quivered, and his gaze suddenly shot down from your eyes. “W-what a-about… G-graves?” he whispered, and you glanced at the direction of fighting sounds. “I… I don’t know what happened to him. He used to be a kind person and good at his job. I don’t understand why… why would he destroy his career and reputation like that. But you’re safe from him, if you come with me.” you whispered to him and stood up, looking to both directions before grabbing Credence’s hand and heading towards the stairs out from the metro station. “L/N. Where do you think you’re going?” you heard Grave’s voice say and you immediately raised your wand. “Protego!” But you did it too late. Graves’s spell hit you and sent you flying on the stairs. You heard Newt screaming your name and Credence turning into obscurus once again… and then you saw only blackness. --- Newt stood completely frozen for a moment. His dear Y/N laid on the ground, her blood staining the floor. He didn’t know if you were passed out or… dead. He couldn’t bear the thought of you being dead. Graves had taken the opportunity and tried to manipulate Credence by promising him the moon and all the stars from the sky. But fortunately, you had made him believe that Graves isn’t a good man anymore, so Credence just grew angrier as Graves talked. Newt lunged towards Graves and made him back down from Credence. He wanted to go and help you, but he knew he couldn’t. Not without putting Credence in danger. So they fought. “Do you think Dumbledore would be proud of you? Fighting against one of the most valued wizards of United States?” he asked and grinned as he saw Newt’s face twitch just the slightest. “Would he join you? Fight with you?” he continued and his grin just grew as Newt’s face twitched some more. “Do you think your dear… Y/N would be proud of you? If she dies? You chose this poor creature before her…” But before Graves could continue, Tina came to the metro station from the tunnel. “Credence!” Tina screamed at the moment of seeing him and Credence stopped, just like he had stopped when you had talked to him. “Stop this, Credence. This man has lied to you.” Tina said, but Graves stepped in front of her. “Don’t listen to her, Credence. With me, you can be more powerful than any wizard that has ever been seen.” “Don’t stop, Tina, he listens to you.” Newt said, ignoring Graves’s glare at him. “That woman… she was cruel to you. I wanted to help you sooner, but I-“ “Destroy the obscurus!” MACUSA had emerged from the metro tunnel and they all pointed wands towards Credence. “Stop! Shush!” Tina shouted to the MACUSA and then turned to Credence, who had started to panic again. “Credence, calm down, hush…” MACUSA started firing spells on Credence while Newt and Tina screamed. Even Graves screamed no’s and eventually, the obscurus blew up. A moment, Newt looked shocked about Credence. Then he saw your body, still laying on the floor in the small pool of your blood. Newt hurried to you and held your limp body in his arms. He checked your pulse, which fortunately was there. You didn’t wake up from his shakes though and that made Newt kinda worried. “Graves attacked Y/N as she was trying to take Credence out?” Queenie had appeared beside Newt and flinched as Graves and MACUSA started fighting. Newt watched it for a moment, then he furrowed his eyebrows and stood up. Queenie read his mind and she took hold of you as Newt went to Graves. He disarmed him and then threw a binding spell on him. “Revelio.” he said quietly and everyone watched as Graves’s black hair turned blond, his eyes changed color, a mustache grew on his face and his smile turned into an evil grin. “Do you think you can hold me?” Grindelwald asked from madam Picquery, but she just smirked at him. “We’ll do our best, Mr. Grindelwald.” --- You woke up at the hospital of the magical injuries. A nurse hurried beside your bed as soon as you groaned and tried to sit up. “Miss L/N! Are you feeling alright?” she asked and you nodded. “Somewhat, yes. Where’s Newt?” you asked and at the same time, Newt appeared at the door. He hurried beside your bed and kissed you as soon as he reached you. “I’m sorry Y/N, I couldn’t… Credence. I believe he’s alive but… I couldn’t save him now.” he muttered and you smiled sadly. “It’s okay. If he’s alive, that’s all that matters. Right?” you bit your lip and turned your gaze back to Newt. “Graves?” “He wasn’t Graves. He was Gellert Grindelwald. He probably has killed the real Graves.” Newt muttered and squeezed your hand. “But he’s locked up now.” “Good.” you said and looked at the nurse, who knew what you were thinking and nodded. “Let’s go home.” you said to Newt.
