How Clear Acrylic Sheets trend nowadays
In recent years, clear acrylic sheets have gained immense popularity in the world of design and architecture. Their sleek appearance, versatility, and practicality have made them a preferred choice for various applications. In this blog, A Cheap Acrylic Frames Supplier will explore the rising trend of clear acrylic sheets and delve into their wide-ranging uses, as well as the advantages that make them a contemporary design essential.
Modern Aesthetics and Versatile Design:
Clear acrylic sheets have become a sought-after material due to their modern aesthetic appeal. Their transparent nature allows for a clean and minimalistic look that seamlessly blends with any interior style. From sleek furniture designs to transparent partitions and decorative accents, Clear Acrylic Sheets bring a sense of lightness and openness to spaces. They can be easily shaped and molded into various forms.
Enhanced Light Transmission and Visual Clarity:
One of the standout features of clear acrylic sheets is their exceptional light transmission and visual clarity. Unlike traditional glass, acrylic offers superior transparency, allowing for maximum visibility and an unobstructed flow of natural light. This attribute makes clear acrylic sheets ideal for applications where maintaining brightness and visual connection is essential, such as windows, skylights, display cases, and art installations. The enhanced light transmission creates an inviting and vibrant atmosphere, amplifying the visual impact of the surroundings.
Durability and Impact Resistance:
Clear acrylic sheets possess remarkable durability and impact resistance, making them a practical choice for various purposes. They are highly resistant to shattering, unlike glass, ensuring safety in high-traffic areas or environments prone to accidents. The strength of clear acrylic sheets also makes them suitable for outdoor applications. They can withstand weather conditions and UV radiation without fading or discoloration. Their durability and long-lasting performance contribute to their growing popularity as a reliable material for furniture, protective barriers, signage, and architectural elements.
Lightweight and Ease of Installation:
Clear acrylic sheets are significantly lighter than glass. It's easier to handle, transport, and install. Their lightweight nature simplifies the installation process, reducing the risk of accidents. Whether it's creating custom partitions, wall-mounted displays, or floating shelves, clear acrylic sheets offer convenience and versatility.
Sustainable and Eco-Friendly Material:
With an increasing focus on sustainability, clear acrylic sheets have gained traction as an eco-friendly material choice. Acrylic is a recyclable thermoplastic. So, its production has a lower environmental impact compared to other materials. The growing awareness of sustainable design practices has contributed to the popularity of clear acrylic sheets as a responsible and environmentally conscious choice. They have become a prominent trend in modern design. They are admired for their contemporary aesthetics, versatility, and practicality. From enhancing natural light and visual clarity to providing durability and ease of installation, clear acrylic sheets offer numerous advantages for a wide range of applications. As the design world continues to embrace sleek and transparent aesthetics, clear acrylic sheets remain a valuable and stylish choice.

Here's my generic post where I promote my links. I'm Dooz, and I like to take pictures of stuff. Mostly birds and other parts of nature, but sometimes also macro stuff. Due to disability I'm not able to do much, but I still have a lot of passion for getting unique photos. Below are ways you can support me if you enjoy what I post.
My Ko-fi is where I upload photos first before anywhere else, as well as where I offer digital downloads for sale. Some are in small related bundles, and most are around the same price as a single 'coffee' if you'd like to get something in return for supporting me. I also have one large, ever-growing bundle for sale. Buying it gets you full access to it, even photos added after your purchase.
Ko-fi is also where you can tip me if you enjoy what I post and want to see more of it. Consider checking it out, because I use the money I get on buying more equipment to take even better photos. Getting even $1 means the world to me.
My INPRNT shop is where you can find prints of my photos for sale. They have art prints, photographic prints, posters, mini prints, framed prints, canvas prints, acryllic prints, metal prints, card packs, stickers, art cards, and the occasional phone case.
I get a pretty high margin of the profits here compared to other sites, and prints can make great gifts for friends and family. And yourself, of course. Or, in the case of the art cards, great to send along with other gifts!
I know not everyone can afford these things, so reblogging this and maybe telling other people about it irl can both help, and they're free.

I fell asleep last night writing a more contemplative version of this, but today I actually bought the items, so lemme go over how I want to do my next gallery wall which I’m calling “The 2B 9S wall” (though it’s not limited to them. There’s just a huge a$$ picture of them on that wall)
Here is is now. We wallpapered here as a feature wall, so I always intended to leave it blank, but It started feeling bare to me and as I ran out of space elsewhere, I began to regret giving up a whole wall. Recently though I saw a room with similar floral patterned paper that had frames on it and I loved how full and formal it looked. The final thing convincing me was realizing I COULD hang up my giant 2B 9S poster. Every other wall didn’t have space for it, and considering its size, I wasn’t sure if I could get away with using it in any other room until I have my own place…
Anyway here are my other walls
If it wasn’t clear before, I’m a maximalist LOL. It’s supposed to look FULL but hopefully not cluttered. And if it is cluttered, it should be so in an artistic way. (Hopefully).
My guideline for keeping things uniform is similar frames ofc but also using prints with minimal colors. This is a case of my aesthetic lining up well with my collection. I started with some of the Hanako kun coasters and the Homunculi placemat and realized they go together, then I filled out my collection with more pieces I genuinely like that match.
Getting my room how I wanted it was a big project the last year and a half. When I’m putting things together, it’s kind of stressful because I want it to be done, so I keep thinking about what to add next and looking for the right pieces. Once it’s all done though, I stop thinking about it and it’s nice.
What makes the 2B 9S wall different is the wallpaper, so instead of having the frames and prints be busy, I want the prints to be a visual break from the craziness of the wall. This is once again kind of a coincidence as after hanging up the big a$$ poster, I liked the negative space and B&W palette a lot. I also bought a simple black frame because it was cheap, but I think I’ll stick with simpler black frames on this wall.
So that’s the plan for prints on this wall. Images with a B&W palette and simple black frames.
I thought about things I’ve been wanting to add to the collection and got these two clear files
The TBHK one is an illustration I LOOOOVE. I’ve been meaning to buy the clear file forever but never could justify it. It has more colors than the poster but is still very stark in its values, so I thought it could work. It would also make it clear this is NOT a 2B 9S exclusive wall. There’s just a huge a$$ poster of them on it.
The second one…is 2B and 9S. I fully admit I threw this one in last minute, but I love this illustration as well AND it fits my limited palette. Both have a smoky dreamy quality to them. I hope they pair well.
The other thing I’ve struggled with is fillers. On my other walls, I found myself going to “small round thing” a lot to add variety. I guess it makes a nice mirror since the walls are facing, but I don’t want to keep doing it.
My solution was one of my forgotten dreams: having an acrylic stand collection.
I freed this shelf up recently and planned to make a 9Shrine here for some stands I bought, but instead I think it’ll be better to display stands on the wall! This way they’ll all stay together and be united by being stands not by being all the same character. That is important to me because I’ve realized if I make a committed shrine or even collection for a character, I tend to get out of hand and start buying things I don’t even like just because the character is on them.
This freed me up to buy more Hanako kun stuff I wanted which I’ll happily do because TBHK has such beautiful art. I buy the Nier stuff because I love the characters, but the art doesn’t always do it for me the same way TBHK does.
Anyway, here’s the Nier stands I have otw
These are my absolute favorite Nier stands. I love the t shirts and they both look really cute in the first ones. Then the second…9S is so…they rlly did good there. They made that for me.
and here’s the TBHK ones I bought
They’re more colorful but I think it’ll tie in well to the one tbhk clear file I’ll have up.
For hanging these up, I’m planning on a combination of floating wall shelves and gaudy sconces
So that’s the plan!! Next paycheck I’ll go after the shelves because whoo. I also better not start hanging things up until I’ve got it all. I’m sure I’ll add more things to this wall, but this is enough to get it feeling complete enough that I won’t go crazy having a half finished wall.
Thanks for reading! I’m excited to get everything in.

sewaddle watching me work + chicken scratching sgtb
also, i'm a fool but drew those chibis on a low resolution, so they aren't really made for print... i'll do something about the quality, because i want to turn those into a charm and maybe acrylic stand.
before you know it, it's already the end of january (what?) i'm going to try make a diary post at the end of each month!
more photos under the cut:
my sis went to taiwan and its newly opened pokemon center, but almost all of the exclusive products sold out so... she came back with a pamphlet... (very sad) but i did get what i want from animate: [Chameleon Wa Tenohira Ni Koi Wo Suru] is a great BL manga i want to recommend! the art and storytelling is beautiful. please give it a read if you can!
i spent my new year's eve watching wolfey's 2 hour video after eating hotou noodles (first try making, they were yummy! thanks harunobu!) then it was fate tokuban till midnight. my lucky bag was charlemagne np2 and i got takeru!
i also fell sick during the first week of the new year (39°C fever) (crazy) it was really bad, but i was very thankful to have my family around.
the quality isn't the best because i was inside my dad's car when i took this, but my sis said the lighting was great so i quickly snapped whatever i could. i take a lot of cloud pictures coz you won't know when you need cloud textures in your drawings (lol)
i managed to get my hands on february issue of nintendo dream after calling many places... in the end it was a small shop on amazonjp... thank you... i wanted the novelty calendar and b2 poster so bad... i want to see kitakami siblings and kktbt in the same illustration...
i need to buy a b2 frame.
in february i want to focus on finishing things i've already started - especially the legends arceus illust book.
i'll do my best...

"Into Your Room" by Holly Humberstone
DV:
In an overall excellent year for varying flavors of love songs, no one captured how simultaneously stupid and exquisite falling for someone feels better than Holly Humberstone. Especially when you're young, though you don't need to look further than the critical reception of early-period Carly Rae Jepsen to realize how often people underestimate their ability to feel intensely and act ridiculously long after they're past their teens. Humberstone had the year's funniest couplet in "You said you'd give me both your kidneys if I cried for help/ Like jesus christ calm down", which isn't from this song, and she had a close runner up with "You're the center of this universe/ My sorry ass revolves around you," which is. The thing about the latter is it's the emotional core of the chorus rather than a throwaway punchline in the verse, a wildly ambitious songwriting gambit. And it works! That single line, bathetic and delivered with complete sincerity, anchors the melodrama of not just "without you my soul is eternally doomed" but the opening "I will run after your moving car." It's cosmic and dumb, just like love should be.
MG:
This song certainly is highly dramatic, which makes for a strong contrast with its satellite radio in store play production. I suppose that sounds backhanded, it is – only because I have no better way to put it, but it truly does underscore the song’s purpose. “Into Your Room” is like framing an exquisite Rembrandt in one of those cheap acrylic poster frames you can buy for 20% off with an expired Bed, Bath & Beyond coupon. It’s like a fear of clowns. These words weren’t made for such builder grade dullness and to see them showcased that way makes them even more desperate and archly ironic. And, I think, due to that perverse juxtaposition, “Into Your Room” is highly quotable. If you’re whatever on the lines DV highlighted, perhaps I can interest you in “Don't make me stand outside in the pouring rain/ With a freshly ripped human heart from my rib cage/ And a boombox, how pathetic, babe.” Like which one is she holding above her head? Is Diane Court even at her window? If you are bored by “Into Your Room,” you simply aren’t listening closely enough.

The Think Tank: Russell Senior Words: Pat Reid, Photographer: Retna Taken from Select Magazine, October 1996 Transcription: Acrylic Afternoons
Pulp's fiddle maestro Russell Senior dispenses earthy wisdom on Lovejoy, pastry dishes, Tony Blair and Cinzano.
Which are worse - pigeons or rats? I'd say rats. Pigeons wouldn't survive a nuclear holocaust, and rats would. I think that's got to be against rats really.
What's your favourite haircut? I always think Stuart from Menswear's hair looks very nice, a kind of centre parting that doesn't make him look like a swot.
What's your favourite non-UK country in the world? I like Italy very much and I found Iceland a place I'd like to go back to. Apart from that, you can stuff it really... In America the generosity of spirit is totally genuine, they do want you to have a nice day, they really do. And anyone who's got a little cafe, they want it to be the best cafe and they want you to enjoy it. And you don't get that on the M1 at all.
What is the secret of being really well dressed? Go to a lot of jumble sales. This suit was made by a tailor in Sheffield called Ashley Rogers. I think the London East End gangs used to go up there to get their suits made in the '60s. He effs and blinds, makes a chalk mark on you, swears, drops his fag, and goes and does it. I'd formerly never paid more than £10 for a suit. This one was the princely sum of £250.
Is there any cause that you would be prepared to die for? No. Other than rescuing my loved ones from a bad fate. I have in the past been involved in left-wing things and put myself in mild amounts of danger, but I'd never be the one at the front of the picket line. I'd always be three or four rows back, pushing.
If you could invent a new recreational drug what would it be like? It would put you in the frame of mind that you're in just as a thunderstorm breaks, when the electrons in the air dissipate and you get that unaccountable euphoric feeling.
What do you reckon to Lovejoy? Is antiques dealing really like that? Not in the slightest. He trolls about in his aimless fashion and 17th century bronzes and ancient manuscripts just happen to turn up on his doorstep. Most antique dealers basically buy junk for £10 and sell it for £20. My specialist field was glassware, which is hard to provenance because it doesn't have marks. That stuff is rare and valuable cos there isn't much of it. There's lots of great things that aren't worth a lot of money, like potatoes. If potatoes were rare they'd be worth a fortune, cos they're delicious.
Which is better - rock music or dance music? I'm not a massive fan of either, I prefer pop music. I used to be a rocker, I still like Motorhead, actually. I don't like dance music particularly, cos I find it difficult to dance to. I don't claim any knowledge on the subject.
If you had to do national service, which regiment would you choose to serve in? It'd have to be the SAS, because apparently they get shaved every morning no matter where they are.
If you had to give up your life and go and live in a novel or film, which one would it be? Film: probably La Dolce Vita. Novel: Possession by AS Byatt. It's about these two researchers, a bloke researching a nineteenth century male writer and a woman researching a nineteenth century female writer. They don't like each other's authors very much, but they uncover letters that show the two writers were lovers. As you might guess, the two researchers end up being drawn to each other's writer and therefore to each other. Rather like the owners of the dogs in 101 Dalmatians. I didn't know it was a 'post-feminist novel', or I certainly wouldn't have read it.
Is Tony Blair selling out the Labour Party? Well, he does have the distinction of being the first Labour leader to have sold out before getting in office, so he might be a total subversive like the Tory posters make out. God, those posters are so racist. This sinister black figure with red eyes, behind a red curtain. I think they're definitely trying to play a subliminal race thing. I wish Labour were as the Tories portray them to be - I'd probably vote for them. I'm more of a Scargillite. I didn't vote for Kinnock because he was too right-wing.
What do you make of the new Suede album? Haven't heard it. I think Bernard was a hard act to follow. They were just so hot, and now they don't seem to fit into the lineage and canopy of 'britpop' that's been defined. It seems like it could have all been there without Suede. I thought their singles were great. I remember thinking at the time that they were better than ours. I didn't think their albums were as good as ours, though.
Going to Knebworth? I'm not, no. I just fancy a night out in London. I haven't been for ages. It's the most exciting city on earth, everybody you meet around the world wants to live in London, and Londoners say 'It's so boring'...
Who are your violin-playing role models? I'd be hard put to emulate even the worst busker. I don't like Nigel Kennedy's playing very much. I like classical music as it's habitually performed, I don't like all that extra fortissimo.
Say something in a foreign language. "L'erba dell baccino e siempre piu verde." The other man's grass is always greener. It's from an Italian version of the Furry Freak Brothers comic.
It's the night before the Warrington gig and you've got 'gout'. Who do you nominate as your replacement? Anybody who could play the guitar and the violin to the standard of the average 15 year old. Someone able to master the rudiments of the notes, the squeakiness of the noises and the random element.
If pop music was made illegal tomorrow, what career would you pursue? There's a number of possibilities. One is being an inventor; I do invent things. Just domestic appliances, little gadgets to amuse myself, like a new kind of pastry dish. I do like to think that at some point in my life I will (a) write a novel, (b) do some inventions, and (c) open a restaurant.
Do you know anyone who's had cosmetic surgery? Me. False teeth. Three front ones. I lost the originals on a piece of wholegrain bread. Apparently, after assault, the second biggest cause of tooth loss is wholegrain bread.
What's the most erotic moment you've ever seen in a film? A film called The Beast by Walerian Borowczek, I remember that being quite saucy at the time. It was the less explicit things that were the most erotic, the heaviness of these oak-panelled rooms, it might have been Bach playing... I don't find squalor erotic. I know it's a Pulp thing and I recognise the truth of Jarvis' lyrics, but I like sophistication, Cinzano, these kinds of things..."

As someone who works in printing/manufacturing I want to give some input from the other side of the counter.
First off: there are a lot of print shops out there where you can get things made, there’s really no reason to use the same ones as other artists. For prints, posters, etc, any print shop will do, even Staples. They’ve got decent prices and fast turnaround times, usually. And most products can be picked up in store to avoid shipping costs.
Seriously: go to a local shop as often as you can, to avoid shipping costs. (Unless you can find someplace online cheaper, despite the shipping)
For T-shirts: screen printing shops are pretty common these days, so try to find a local one. Doesn’t have to be big. Most places use the same shirts (usually Gildan) and the same printing method. Keep in mind that for screen printing, each color is printed via a different screen, so the more colors in your design the more expensive it will be. Shops usually charge a “frame fee” for each color, around 40-80 dollars each. Anything more than 6 colors is kinda pushing it and anything more than 12 might not be possible. If you want a shirt that has a full color print or gradients, that’s not screen printing, that’s Direct to Garment (or the newer Direct to Film). Screen-printing shops may or may not have that available you’ll just need to ask around. There’s also sublimation, but that only works on light colored shirts so your design options are limited. Ask your screen-printer what your options are. No harm in shooting them an email with your design and asking if it’s printable.
Also screen print shops will not save the frames after the order is done- you’ll be paying that frame free each time your order so plan accordingly.
People don't really like wearing white shirts.
When ordering shirt sizes: DON’T just get 10 or each size S to XXL or whatever. Sizes are in a bell curve, so get, for example, 3 small, 5 medium, 8 large, 5 XL, 3 XXL.
Don’t try to buy your own shirts (or other materials) and bring it in to be printed- just don’t, please. Printers can get the same thing cheaper and at a consistent quality, so let them handle it. (Also if a print messes up we can just get another blank from the back room instead of of ruining your shirt)
CustomInk is good but tbh a lot of their stuff is outsourced to local screen printing shops. You might be able to cut out the middle man and get it cheaper at a local shop.
^all that t-shirt stuff also applies to tote bags
Also keep in mind the print on a t-shirt can go up to 12 in x 16 in usually.
For stickers, try to find a place that sells vinyl or banners, like a print shop or trophy shop. They might also do bulk stickers of good quality. If there isn’t a place like that locally, do research and find a store online.
Trophy shops are your friend! They often do a lot of different custom printing, so ask your local shop what they have available.
For buttons: try print shops or trophy shops. But honestly this one might be better to do at home, especially if you’re doing a lot of different little things. The materials are cheap, the prints can literally be made on a regular printer with regular paper, and a cheap button press costs about $100
For pins and acrylic charms: always order about 10% more than you need, especially if you’re ordering overseas. The industry has a 10% margin of error and not everyone does quality control. Any extras you get can be sold as B-grades or leftovers.
For plushies: I don’t know anything about plushies. Sorry, you’re on your own for those.
Buying in bulk is always cheaper, so plan accordingly. Get an idea of how many you want before walking into a store.
Pretty much everything prints at 300 dpi, which means if you want to print a 5 in x 7 art print, your image needs it be AT LEAST 1500x2100 pixels, or else it’ll come out pixelated and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.
Also if something is going to be printed up to the edge of the material (like an art print) make sure there’s .25 inches of safe space around all the edges- things in that space could get cut off, so no important details like writing.
I don’t know how else to say this, but: KNOW WHAT YOU WANT BEFORE YOU ORDER. Have a design, know your size and material, know how many you want. CUSTOM printing means all these things change the price of the order and nothing can get started until you make these decisions.
Most shops will send you a mock-up (or “proof”) before printing, so keep and eye on your email and respond in a timely matter if you want things to be printed in a timely matter. Of course, any changes you make to your product during the process could slow things down, but that’s to be expected. Basically, if you make a dozen changes don’t get mad that stuff isn’t ready at the agreed time. (One or two changes are normal but please don’t do a whole bunch if you don’t have to)
Most places know what they’re doing and don’t want to bother with sending you a sample for something they’ve printed a thousand times (t-shirts, tote bags, acrylic charms, stickers). Look at their sample products and judge the quality of those. They’ll send a mock-up instead. Anything that isn’t just a printed blank is another story. Plushies, pins, and custom clothing (anything more complicated than a graphic tee), you’ll probably want a sample. Any good shop would recommend a sample if it’s necessary.
You DO have to do your own research. Your budget and location are going to determine what shop works for you. Just decide what you want, google it, and make your own decision based on their prices.
My last piece of advice: START SMALL. Do one stack of art prints, one stack of stickers, the smallest batch of pins you can do- test out the shop and the product before going all in and wasting your money. Don’t drop a ton of money and place a ton of orders unless you’ve tried a shop and are confident in their abilities.
would anyone be interested if I made a breakdown post of reasons why merch artists don't share their manufacturers? it's oversimplified as "artists are just gatekeeping" in part because I think there's just not a lot of awareness that it's a significantly more complex situation and involves some level of risk compared to sharing simpler resources such as brushes
artists also don't tend to explain beyond "sorry, I don't share my manufacturers" (for good reason, they're not going to write an essay to answer a quick question) but maybe diving into the details will help people understand why so many merch artists are protective of their manufacturers and will not share with strangers
#Art advice#printing#I am weirdly passionate about this stuff#im an artist but I’ve never tried to sell prints or anything so for this post I’m taking as a printer
