The peaceful glow of the Luofu was overshadowed by the tense atmosphere between you and Jing Yuan. The General stood in his study, his eyes fixed on you, frustration flickering behind their usual calm. The argument had started small, but it spiraled into something you hadn’t anticipated.
“You don’t understand the weight of these decisions,” Jing Yuan said, his tone sharper than usual. “Every action has consequences—not just for us, but for the entire Alliance.”
“I’m trying to help you!” you shot back, voice trembling. “But you keep shutting me out like I’m just an outsider!”
Jing Yuan ran a hand through his long hair, visibly exasperated. “It’s not about shutting you out—it’s about protecting you. Don’t you see that?”
When he suddenly stepped closer, his voice louder than before, you instinctively flinched, taking a step back. His eyes widened, his anger evaporating in an instant.
“Wait…” His voice softened. “Did you just flinch?”
You looked down, ashamed. The moment hung heavy in the air. Jing Yuan’s heart ached at the sight of you retreating from him, and he cursed himself for letting his emotions overwhelm his judgment.
“I’m sorry,” he said gently, his hands hovering before dropping to his sides. “I didn’t mean to frighten you.” He took a step back himself, giving you space. “I would never hurt you.”
You hesitated before nodding, your eyes still wary. Jing Yuan took a deep breath, his usual calm returning. He walked to his desk, retrieved a cup of tea, and set it down in front of you.
“Let’s talk—properly this time,” he said, his voice steady but laced with remorse. “I want to listen to you, truly.”
And for the first time that evening, you felt safe enough to let him in.

The opulent office felt suffocating as Aventurine paced back and forth, his normally suave demeanor unraveling. You had challenged one of his high-stakes decisions, and he hadn’t taken it well.
“You think I didn’t calculate the risks?” he barked, his voice sharp as a blade. “You think I don’t know exactly what I’m doing?”
“I’m saying it’s dangerous, Aventurine!” you shot back, your voice rising to match his. “You can’t keep gambling with people’s lives like this!”
His eyes burned with frustration. “You don’t understand the game I’m playing! Every move I make is—”
When he spun to face you, gesturing emphatically, you flinched, your body reacting before your mind could catch up. The slight recoil stopped Aventurine mid-sentence. His hand, frozen mid-air, dropped to his side.
For a moment, silence reigned. Then, his voice came out softer, almost unsure. “Did I… scare you?”
You didn’t respond immediately, and that was answer enough. Aventurine’s usually confident mask cracked, revealing the guilt underneath. He stepped back, running a hand through his hair.
“I’m sorry,” he murmured, his tone devoid of its usual bravado. “I let my temper get the better of me.”
You crossed your arms, your voice shaky. “I just want you to see that I care, Aventurine. You don’t have to face everything alone.”
He chuckled dryly, his smile weak but genuine. “It seems I’m the one who needs a reminder of that sometimes.” He reached out hesitantly, his fingers brushing yours. “Can we try this again? No shouting this time.”
You nodded, and as he led you to sit beside him, the gambler seemed determined to show you he was more than just his sharp words and risky strategies.

The gentle hum of the Astral Express felt distant as you and Dan Heng faced off in the library. He rarely raised his voice, but tonight, his frustration was palpable.
“You can’t just rush into danger like that!” Dan Heng exclaimed, his voice uncharacteristically forceful. “Do you have any idea how reckless that was?”
“I was trying to help!” you defended, equally upset. “You always act like I can’t handle myself!”
“Because you don’t see the risks!” He stepped forward, his hand clutching his spear. “What if something had happened to you? Do you think I could—”
When his voice rose further, and his spear clinked against the floor as he adjusted his grip, you flinched, taking a step back. Dan Heng immediately froze, his sharp eyes widening in realization. The air grew heavy with the weight of what had just happened.
“You…” he said softly, his voice barely above a whisper. He set his spear down, his hands shaking slightly. “I didn’t mean to… I would never—”
You looked away, biting your lip. “It’s fine. I just… wasn’t expecting you to—”
“No, it’s not fine,” he interrupted, his voice steady but filled with guilt. “I lost control. That’s on me.”
Dan Heng lowered himself to sit on the edge of the table, his posture uncharacteristically vulnerable. “I don’t want to push you away. I’m just… scared of losing you.”
You hesitated before stepping closer, placing a hand on his shoulder. “I’m scared too, but we need to face this together. You don’t have to carry everything on your own.”
He nodded, his usual calm slowly returning. “You’re right. I’ll… do better.”
In that moment, you saw the real Dan Heng—not the stoic guardian, but the man who carried the weight of the past and feared losing the one person who made him feel safe.

The grandiose living room of Alhaitham's home felt oppressive as your argument with Kaveh escalated. He stood in the middle of the room, his expressive eyes alight with frustration. You had challenged one of his decisions, and his idealistic nature didn’t take it lightly.
“You don’t understand what this means to me!” Kaveh exclaimed, his voice shaking. “I worked my entire life to make a difference through my designs! And now you’re questioning that?”
“I’m not questioning your work, Kaveh,” you said, your voice tinged with desperation. “I’m worried about you! You’re pushing yourself too hard, taking on too much—”
“Because I have to!” he shouted, his hands flaring in an animated gesture. “If I don’t, who will? Do you think anyone else cares as much as I do?” He stepped closer, his tone growing sharper as he continued. “Stop acting like you—”
Your body reacted before your mind could catch up. You flinched, taking a small step back as his voice rose and his movements became more animated. The action stopped him in his tracks, the weight of the moment crashing down around him like a crumbling structure.
His arms dropped to his sides, and his face fell. “Did… did I scare you?” he asked, his voice suddenly quiet and laced with regret.
You didn’t reply immediately, your throat tight with emotion. “I—I didn’t mean to—” you started, but Kaveh shook his head, cutting you off.
“No,” he said firmly, his tone filled with self-reproach. “This isn’t on you. I… I shouldn’t have yelled like that.” He took a step back, giving you space, his eyes filled with guilt. “I never meant to make you feel unsafe.”
“Kaveh…” you began, your voice softening.
He turned away briefly, running a hand through his hair. “I let my emotions get the better of me. Again. It’s just… everything feels like it’s falling apart, and I’m trying so hard to hold it together.”
You stepped forward hesitantly, placing a hand on his arm. “I know you’re trying, Kaveh. But you don’t have to do it alone. You don’t have to carry this weight by yourself.”
He looked at you, his eyes glistening with unshed tears. “I just… I don’t know how to let go. But I don’t ever want to hurt you, not even by accident.”
“You won’t,” you assured him, squeezing his arm gently. “But you need to let yourself rest, Kaveh. Let yourself breathe.”
He nodded slowly, his usual dramatic flair subdued by the gravity of the moment. “You’re right. I’ll… I’ll try. For you.”
And as the tension eased, you saw in his eyes the vulnerability he often tried to mask with passion and idealism—a man who cared so deeply, it sometimes consumed him.

The sterile halls of Herta’s spaceship echoed with the sharp edge of your argument. Herta stood before her console, her fingers tapping impatiently on its surface as she glared at you.
“Do you even understand the magnitude of what I’m trying to achieve here?” she asked, her tone biting. “This isn’t just some experiment—it’s a breakthrough!”
“I do understand,” you replied, your voice raised. “But you’re so focused on the outcome that you’re ignoring the risks!”
Herta’s eyes narrowed as she whirled around to face you, her movements swift and deliberate. “Risks are inevitable in science! If I stopped every time something was dangerous, we wouldn’t even have the Simulated Universe! You—” She gestured sharply, stepping closer as her voice grew louder.
The suddenness of her movement made you flinch, your shoulders tensing as you instinctively stepped back. The reaction was subtle but unmistakable. Herta froze mid-sentence, her eyes widening in realization.
She stared at you for a long moment, the tension in her posture dissipating. “Wait… did I just… scare you?” she asked, her voice unusually soft.
You looked away, unable to meet her gaze. “It’s fine. I know you didn’t mean to.”
But Herta shook her head, her usual detached demeanor cracking. “No, it’s not fine,” she said, setting her clipboard aside. “I might be a genius, but that doesn’t give me the right to… intimidate you like that.”
You glanced at her, surprised by the remorse in her tone. “Herta…”
She crossed her arms, avoiding your eyes as she spoke. “I get so caught up in my work, I forget about the people around me. I’m sorry.” She sighed, her sharp wit returning slightly. “It seems even I have room for improvement.”
You chuckled softly despite the tension. “You think?”
She smiled faintly, stepping closer but keeping her movements slow and deliberate. “Let me make it up to you. I’ll explain everything properly this time—no yelling, no dramatics.”
You nodded, the knot in your chest loosening. “I’d like that.”
As she guided you to her desk, the usual confidence in her demeanor was tempered by a quiet sincerity. For the first time, you saw the side of Herta that wasn’t just a genius or a scientist, but someone who valued your trust more than any experiment.

Your life was supposed to be perfect right now. You just gave birth to your beautiful baby—a moment that should have been magical, joyous, and filled with happy tears.
Instead, you were losing your mind.
Because the baby in your arms… did not have black hair. Not even a single dark strand.
No.
Because the baby—the tiny, fresh-out-the-womb infant that you had just spent hours screaming into existence—was blonde.
Blonde.
BLONDE.
And he looked exactly like Jason.
Now, for most normal people, this wouldn’t be an issue. In fact, it would be a cute, happy moment—"Oh wow, he looks just like his dad!"—but you? No. You were spiraling. Because Jason had black hair. Jet black. Dark as the night. Dark as his soul (romantically speaking).
And your baby?
Your baby had a tuft of blonde hair that made him look like a tiny cherub sent straight from heaven.
Which made no damn sense.
You hadn’t cheated. Hell, you barely even looked at other men since getting together with Jason because—let’s be honest—your man was already borderline psychotic when it came to his jealousy.
So, if you had cheated (which, again, you HADN’T), you would already be dead. There would be no hospital room. No baby. Just a Jason-shaped shadow standing over your shallow grave.
But that didn’t change the fact that you were staring at your son, this tiny, beautiful baby with blonde hair.
Which would be fine. If Jason had fucking blonde hair.
But he didn’t. He had black hair.
You were a hundred percent sure of that. You had run your fingers through that thick, inky hair so many times. You had tugged it when he pissed you off. You had yanked it when—
That didn’t matter right now.
Because either you had just given birth to the wrong child, or—OR—
“Oh my God,” you choked, your voice cracking as you looked at the baby in your arms with sheer, bone-deep horror. “Jason’s going to think I cheated on him.”
The room went silent.
A nurse looked at you with wide eyes, hesitating mid-step. Alfred, ever the picture of composure, cleared his throat, carefully folding a tiny onesie. And Dick—because of course Dick was here—froze mid-bite of his celebratory snack, a hospital pudding cup, before slowly turning to you.
“Uh… what?”
“I didn’t cheat on him,” you gasped, convulsing in hormonal sobs as you clutched the tiny baby closer to your chest. “I didn’t! I swear I didn’t!”
“I mean, obviously,” Tim mumbled, looking more alarmed at your emotional breakdown than at the situation itself.
But you weren’t listening. You were spiraling, your voice getting more frantic.
“Oh my God. What if they gave me the wrong baby?” you whispered, eyes darting wildly around the hospital room. “What if some poor woman out there has my real baby? And I have hers?”
“Miss, please,” Alfred sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose.
Damian, perched in the corner of the room with his arms crossed, made a disgusted sound. “That’s your child, idiot. It looks just like Todd.”
“NO, HE DOESN’T!” you wailed. “JASON HAS BLACK HAIR!”
Damian just scoffed. “You’re being ridiculous.”
“I—WHAT?!” you shrieked.
Dick sighed dramatically, putting his hands on his hips. “I can’t believe we have to do this right now. Jason’s gonna lose his mind.”
That set you off even worse. Jason’s gonna lose his mind?! Oh God, oh God, he was going to think you cheated. He was going to leave. He was going to storm in here, take one look at the baby, and—
You sobbed harder. Ugly cried harder.
Bruce actually looked like he was reconsidering every decision that led him to this moment.
“Uh, wow,” Tim muttered.
“I didn’t cheat,” you repeated, voice breaking. “I mean—how would I even have the time?! Jason’s always around! He’d kill anyone who looked at me for too long! It doesn’t make sense!”
“Why are you trying to convince us?” Damian scoffed. “Shouldn’t you be telling Todd?”
Your stomach dropped.
Jason.
Jason wasn’t here.
Oh, God. Oh, fuck.
“I—I love him so much,” you sobbed, clutching your little (wrong?!) baby. “I—oh my God—what if he leaves me?! What if he thinks I—Oh God, he’s gonna think I cheated, and I didn’t, I swear—”
“Jason’s going to break the door down when he gets here,” Tim muttered, rubbing his temples.
“No, he won’t,” Bruce grumbled.
CRASH.
Jason absolutely broke the door down.
It slammed against the wall so hard that even your baby, who had been peacefully asleep through your meltdown, flinched.
"Fucking Gotham traffic, I swear to—"
He froze.
You were crying.
Sobbing.
Hysterical.
His brain ran a million miles per hour. Did something happen? Did you change your mind about the name? Did one of the nurses insult you? Did he leave the oven on? Did someone die?
His eyes darted to the baby in your arms.
Tiny. Swaddled. Breathing.
Okay. Not dead.
So why the fuck were you crying like this was a damn crime scene?
"Uh," Jason started. "Baby? What’s wrong?"
You let out another broken sob, clutching the baby to your chest.
Jason panicked.
You started crying so hard you couldn’t even get words out. Just absolute, gut-wrenching sobs while Jason rushed to your bedside, grabbing your face.
“Baby, baby, what’s wrong?!” he panicked, his voice an octave higher. “Did they hurt you?! Are you in pain?! Do I have to kill someone?! Is it Bruce?! I bet it’s Bruce.”
Bruce exhaled through his nose, deeply unimpressed.
It's just made you cry harder.
"Oh, God—what happened?! Are you okay?! Is the baby okay—"
"Jason, I SWEAR I didn’t cheat on you!" you blurted out.
Jason blinked.
Everyone collectively flinched.
"…What?" Jason said, voice flat.
"I didn’t cheat! I would never cheat! I love you, and you were my first, and I would never, I would never, I—"
"Baby," Jason said slowly, trying to wrap his head around this absolute fever dream. "What the fuck are you talking about?"
You let out another shaky breath, eyes darting around the room in pure panic. "T-the baby, Jason. Look at him."
Jason frowned, stepping closer. He looked at the baby. Looked at you. Looked at the baby again.
"…Yeah?" he said, confused.
"He has blonde hair!"
Jason blinked.
Then blinked again.
Then turned to the rest of the family like they had the answers.
Dick rubbed his temples. "Jay."
Jason turned back to you, lips parting like he was about to say something, then stopping. Then opening again. Then stopping.
“I swear I didn’t!” Your sobs renewed, your shoulders shaking as you held up the tiny, peacefully sleeping baby. “But look at him! He has blonde hair! He looks exactly like you! But you have black hair! I think I got the wrong baby, or I cheated on you in my sleep, or maybe you’re going to leave me—”
Jason stared.
Then he turned, slowly, toward the rest of the room. “…Did you guys let her spiral like this on purpose?”
“Yes,” Damian said, unbothered.
“Absolutely,” Dick grinned.
Jason inhaled deeply.
Then, to your absolute shock, he let out a long, tired sigh—before shoving a hand through his hair and grumbling, “I fucking forgot you didn’t know.”
You hiccupped again. “Wh—what?”
Jason gave you a flat look. “Babe. My hair. I’ve been dyeing it black since I was a kid.”
Your breath caught. “Huh?”
“Because of him,” Jason added, jerking his thumb toward Dick, who just wiggled his fingers in a smug little wave.
Silence.
More silence.
The world stopped.
The Earth stopped spinning.
Your breath hitched. "You…"
Jason nodded.
"You… had blonde hair?"
Jason nodded again.
You sniffled. Sniffled again. Processed this information.
Then immediately let out a loud, gut-wrenching, ugly sob and buried your face in your hands.
Jason Todd. Your husband. Your big, scary, six-foot-four, muscle-bound, leather-wearing husband. The man who used to be the meanest street kid in Crime Alley. The man who could disassemble a gun with his eyes closed and had murdered actual people.
Had spent his entire life dyeing his hair because he wanted to look like Dick Grayson.
“Oh my God,” you whispered, eyes wide.
Jason groaned, rubbing his face. “Babe—”
“Oh my God.”
“Listen, it’s not—”
“You mean to tell me I’ve been married to you this whole time thinking you had black hair, but you’re actually some kind of undercover blonde?!”
“Strawberry blonde,” Tim corrected.
Jason shot him a glare. “Shut up.”
You gasped, gripping his jacket like you might collapse. “You mean to tell me this baby is actually yours?”
Jason exhaled. Then he stepped forward, resting a warm, solid hand against your cheek before pressing a soft, lingering kiss to your forehead.
“Yes, babe,” he muttered, lips brushing your skin. “He’s mine.”
"Oh my God," you wailed. "I’m so stupid."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa—" Jason sat on the bed, grabbing you. "You’re not stupid. You just had a baby. And hormones. And clearly, no one ever showed you my baby pictures."
"This whole time," you hiccupped, voice muffled, "I thought they swapped our baby, and I stole some random kid. I thought you were gonna leave me!"
Jason sighed, rubbing your back. "Sweetheart, I would never leave you. Especially not over our perfectly fine, baby."
Damian scoffed. "Tt. As if anyone else would willingly have a child with Todd."
Jason shot him a glare. "Not the time, demon."
Dick sighed, stepping forward and ruffling Jason’s hair. "Guess we should’ve mentioned that whole blonde thing earlier, huh?"
Jason glared. "You think?"
Stephanie shook her head. "I thought everyone knew. It's, like, a family fun fact at this point."
"I DIDN’T KNOW!" you shouted.
Jason pulled you into his arms, still rubbing soothing circles into your back. "It’s okay, babe. It’s okay. I promise."
You sniffled, eyes red and puffy. "So… he’s really yours?"
Jason pressed a kiss to your forehead. "He’s really mine."
You let out a weak whimper. "I wanna see your baby pictures."
Jason chuckled. "Alright, sweetheart. When we get home, I’ll show you all of them."
Tim crossed his arms. "I have them saved on my phone."
Jason turned his head. "Why the fuck do you have baby pictures of me on your phone?"
Tim shrugged. "For emergencies."
Jason squinted. "…What kind of emergencies?"
Tim smirked. "Like this one."
Jason pulled back, finally looking down at the baby in your arms.
And—oh.
The storm in his eyes vanished.
Replaced by something warm. Something deep. Something soft.
The big, scary Red Hood, suddenly looked—small.
Awe-struck.
Because there, curled in your arms, was a tiny, sleeping baby with blonde hair and soft little features that looked just like his.
Jason swallowed.
Then, hesitantly, he reached out, brushing his fingers over the baby’s little fist.
“…Holy shit,” he murmured.
Dick grinned. “You made a clone.”
Jason turned to you, eyes softening.
Then he kissed you—long, deep, and full of love.
“I love you,” he muttered, lips still against yours.

five times people don't believe Steve and Eddie are dating + one time they have to
Made the silly post, decided to actually write it
1.
Eddie stops his van in front of Dustin’s house. His was the last stop of the drop off after the dnd session at Gareth’s house. Dustin turns towards Eddie. He is drumming his fingers on the wheel to the beat of the DIO song playing, never still. When Dustin doesn’t move, he turns to look at him with his eyebrows raised.
“Anything wrong, Henderson?”
He is looking at him with his big eyes and Dustin gulps. Even after everything they have been through, Dustin can’t help but feel nervous. There is still this feeling that tells him he has to try to impress Eddie, to be cool enough to be his friend.
“Will you teach me how to play guitar?” Dustin blurts before he chickens out.
Eddie looks at him with surprise, blinking a few times. He was clearly not expecting that question.
“Sure.”
“Wait- really?” Dustin is genuinely surprised. A part of him knew that Eddie wouldn’t say no, but he fully expected some teasing, some ‘what, Henderson, you wanna be like me?’ which. Yes. But he didn’t want Eddie to say it.
“Yeah dude, why not?”
Dustin lets out a delighted laugh and slaps the dashboard. “Yes! Thank you! When are we starting? Any time is good for me-“
“Calm down,” Eddie says with a chuckle.
“What about tomorrow? I can do tomorrow. I will bike to your house after school and you can teach me the basics or-“
“Calm down Henderson,” Eddie repeats louder. Dustin shuts up. “I can’t do tomorrow.”
Dustin’s heart breaks a little. “Why?”
“Because this humble bard has a date with Steve Harrington.” He has a stupid smile on his face when he says it.
There are a couple of seconds of silence and Dustin knows that he is pulling a face.
“Dude, don’t say it like that.”
“Like what?” Eddie looks baffled, almost offended, but there is a shiver going down Dustin’s spine.
“Like that! A date? Just say you are hanging out like a normal person.”
He is used to Eddie’s way of saying things, rarely in a normal way, but that was weird. Don’t get him wrong, he is very happy that Steve and Eddie have stopped acting like idiots every time Dustin mentioned the other and that they are hanging out now. But it’s still strange, seeing them actually getting along so well.
“If I’m going to have the King all to myself I am calling it a date.”
“STOOOP! It’s weird.”
“What is it Henderson?” Eddie says in a teasing tone as he leans towards Dustin. “Jealous that me and Steve are giving each other a bit of love?”
“Stop saying it like that!” Dustin screams. This would be so much weirder if Dustin didn’t know he is just teasing him. Maybe it was better when they were not friends.
The front door to his house opens, and Dustin scrambles to get out of the van before his mother can come and embarrass him more. The last thing he hears is Eddie’s crackling laugh.
2.
“Okay, what is happening?” Robin asks as soon as the door closes after the girl that had just rented Back to the Future.
“Something’s happening?” Steve sends a brief look around with a confused frown on his face before he looks at Robin.
“That girl.” Robin gestures to the door for emphasis.
Steve snorts, “yeah. Back to the Future? That’s funny.” He says as he crosses his arms in front of himself.
“That is not what this is about.”
“It’s not?”
“No! She was a babe!”
“Was she?” Steve looks at the door again, like he had not even seen the girl, like it had not even occurred to him to look at the girl. Robin could kill him.
“Yes! She was!”
“Did you want me to set you up with her? Because I will, you know that. Maybe we can have a code for that, you say- I don’t know- ‘have you watched Fast Times?’ and I will put my best wingman skills to use. I will get you a date in no time.”
Steve is the best friend Robin could ask for. He is also incredibly dumb and she is going to strangle him.
“I didn’t want you to set me up with her.”
“What’s the problem then?”
“The problem is that you are Steve Harrington and you didn’t even try to flirt with her! You should have been all over her, trying to get a date or her number. You haven’t been on a date in weeks! And it’s not even that you are striking out like in scoops, you are not even trying Steve. What is wrong with you?”
“What do you mean I haven’t been on a date in weeks, I was with Eddie just yesterday, I told you.” He has this confused frown on his face, like he seriously doesn’t understand where Robin is coming from.
“Steve, hanging out with Eddie doesn’t count as a date. Also, ew, don’t put that image in my head, I know he is our friend now or whatever and that you like hanging out with him but I would hope for you to have better taste than that.”
“What does that mean?”
“It means that Eddie? Seriously? Did you see the stains on his mattress?”
Steve pulls a face, like had not thought about it before. “We’ll buy a new mattress.”
Robin looks at him, trying her best to communicate how gross she finds Eddie with her mind. Steve looks back at her with his eyebrows raised, daring her to say something else about Eddie.
The bell at the door interrupts them. It’s not a babe this time, just a normal guy, returning a tape. They act like the professionals they are until he is out of the door again.
“Aren’t you going to ask me why I didn’t flirt with him?” Steve asks, his hand gesturing to the door in that annoying way of his.
“No,” Robin says, but Steve doesn’t really wait for her answer before he continues talking.
“I didn’t because I am dating Eddie!”
“No you are not,” Robin answers with a snort.
“Yes I am.” Steve looks completely betrayed. “I am with him almost every day.”
“Oh, I know what is happening.” It’s so clear, so easy to understand now that Steve has said that. She puts her hands on Steve’s shoulders. He looks at her with a frown, a tilt of his head as he uncrosses his arms in confusion. “Steve.” She tries to convey as much seriousness as she can, just so Steve understands what is happening too. “Just because you have realised you like boys and he is gay and you two are hanging out, it doesn’t mean you two are dating.”
“Oh fu-“ he tries to move away from her but she clutches his shoulders tightly.
“You have to learn how to have friends your age, Steve. Remember when you though you liked me? I got away because I don’t like boys, and Eddie does! But that doesn’t mean he is into you!”
Steve rolls her eyes at her. The audacity. He bats her arms away with more easiness than Robin would like to admit. “Whatever.” He just says.
3.
“Steve”
“Mike” Steve answers in the same serious tone. If not a bit confused. Mike had followed him inside when he had come to get some drinks. He can still hear the others in the pool outside.
“I saw you speaking with Nancy.” Mike states. They had been speaking, close, too close. “And Dustin told me you were making eyes at her during the Vecna thing.”
“What?” Steve whispers as he shakes his head while he takes the drinks out of the fridge.
“Anything to say to defend yourself?” Mike asks him. He crosses his arms, tries to put on a serious pose. Intimidating, as much as he can.
“Listen,” Steve starts, he turns towards Mike him and leans back on the counter. He crosses his arms, and it makes Mike shift, conscious of his own crossed arms. He doesn’t like his tone, as if he is talking to a kid. “I know you are still pissy about me dating your sister, for some reason,” he uncrosses one of his arms to say it. “But she is with Jonathan now and I am totally over her.” Mike just squints at him. He doesn’t believe him. Everyone knows that Steve is not over Nancy. “Totally! I mean it. I’m dating Eddie now.” He says it like it’s a question.
Mike snorts. That is the stupidest lie Steve could have come up with to try to get out of this. “As if.”
“What is that supposed to mean?”
“Eddie is too cool to date you.”
“He is too- I’ve saved your life,” he points to Mike.
“Eddie is still cooler.”
Steve takes a deep breath and Mike doesn’t really want to hear what Steve is going to say to defend himself. Thankfully he doesn’t say anything, his mouth closing as his eyes drift someplace behind Mike.
“I was promised beer,” Eddie’s voice comes from behind Mike.
“You’d have it if Mike here hadn’t decided to give me shit,” Steve answers as he moves to open a can of beer and hands it to Eddie when he gets to him.
“Just-“ Mike huffs. “Don’t get any ideas with my sister.” He says it as he points to Steve while he walks back outside.
Mike doesn’t stay to see Steve’s reaction, but he hears Eddie say “anything I should be worried about?” before the noise of the others drowns everything else.
4.
Max and Eleven giggle as the stand outside of the window to Eddie’s room. He is inside, they can see the lump inside the sheets and the mess of curls on the pillow. They look at each other and nod with a grin before they start banging on the window and shouting his name.
Eddie starts on the bed, Max could swear he lifts a few centimetres from the bed she can hear him scream ‘jesus christ’ through the window before he turns towards them with a squint. He sits up on the bed and reaches across to open the window, he is not wearing a shirt, so they have a full view of all his tattoos. It’s not like Max ever wants to see them so close, but she knows El likes them.
“What the FUCK Mayfield,” he asks, but it doesn’t sound like a question. Then, after a second of him squinting and them more. “Mini Hopper.”
Max doesn’t answer, because behind Eddie another lump is raising from the bed and looking at them with a squint. “Max? Is anything wrong?” Steve asks as he rubs his face and hair with the hand that is not currently propping him up.
“I…” Max starts, but she doesn’t continue. Sure, she had seen Steve shirtless at the boat that one time when they were going after Vecna, but it was nighttime and she had to look through some shitty binoculars.
Eddie reaches a hand back to try to push Steve back down, but it doesn’t really work. He just pushes his face, and Steve lets himself be pushed, just for a bit, before he is straightening again.
“Hey, hey,” Eddie says as he snaps his fingers in front of Max. It works on bringing her attention back to him. “Anything wrong?”
Max shakes her head.
“Are you having a sleepover? I also sleep with Max when we have a sleepover,” El asks.
Eddie looks between them for a couple of seconds before he says, “sure we are.”
It just sounds like he just wants to get rid of them.
“You boys are gross, can’t you put a shirt on?” Max asks. Billy was always walking around shirtless too.
“Keep telling yourself that,” Eddie just replies.
“Did anything happen?” Steve insists.
“We had a sleepover,” El says.
“Yeah, gathered that,” Eddie deadpans.
“We came so you will take us out for pancakes.”
Eddie groans as he lets himself fall back on the bed and looks up at Steve.
“I totally blame you for this being my life now, just so you know.”
Steve just laughs and pushes his face to the side. Max pulls a face, their friendship must be one of the weirdest things that has come out of the whole Vecna thing. Steve turns towards them with a stupid smile on his face.
“Go get your things, we will be out in ten minutes.”
“Ten minutes?!” Eddie protests, but Max and El don’t pay attention to him, already celebrating and running back to Max’s.
The last thing she sees is Steve leaning down towards Eddie with a hand on his face out of the corner of her eye, but she doesn’t really put much thought to it.
5.
Lucas loves having Steve to play with. After all the Vecna stuff, he didn’t really want to hang out with the guys from basketball all that much, so Steve had stepped up. He had bought a hoop for his big driveway for them to practise and everything.
The day is hot, and they have been going at it for hours, so they are both sweaty and tired. They are at Steve’s driveway. It’s just them, sweaty under the sun, and Eddie sitting on a folding chair on the side, for some reason. He was already here when Lucas had arrived, and he had refused to leave. He is on the shade, reading a book, looking way more comfortable than them.
“Pause for drinks?” Steve asks, and Lucas is very happy to agree with him. “Hey!” he yells towards Eddie, he jumps as he looks up. “Don’t think I don’t see you looking at me like a creep. You should be getting us drinks.”
“Sorry sweetheart.” Eddie shouts back as he waves his book.
“Drinks, now.” Steve says with a jerk of his head towards the house.
Eddie drops the book in his haste to stand up and follow Steve inside. They are weird, they act so weird all the time. They should get girlfriends, that way they would maybe stop being weird with each other.
“You want anything, Lucas?” Steve asks as he walks away.
“Just a soda!” Lucas calls out after them.
Steve gives him a thumbs up as he goes through the door.
It’s ten minutes later that Lucas starts to wonder what’s taking them so long. He got tired of practising shoots, and also of sitting down on the grass waiting for them.
The house is blessedly chilly and dark when he comes in.
“Steve?” he calls out.
He walks towards the kitchen. There is sound coming from it, shuffling. When he gets close enough to the kitchen he hears Eddie speak quietly.
“Were you afraid your neighbours might see, big boy?”
“Shut up,” Steve answers. Then there are some wet sounds and when Lucas comes into the kitchen Steve is all over Eddie and-
“DUDE!” Lucas screams. Steve jumps away from Eddie. “What are you doing? What if Robin had seen you?”
Steve looks around. “What?”
“Dustin said you like Robin, what if she was here and she saw you…” he can’t even describe what they were doing, he just knows that if some girl saw that, she would never consider dating Steve.
“I don’t want to date Robin, why does everyone think I want to date Robin?” Steve says.
Lucas doesn’t answer. He just looks at Steve. If it’s not Robin, it’s Nancy, for sure. “Don’t worry, I won’t tell her, or anyone.”
Eddie laughs like a maniac, Lucas just squints at him and goes to grab his soda.
+1
Robin is not sure how they have ended up here. At the Hideout. On a Tuesday. With all the kids and Eddie’s band helping them get ready before even the freaking owner has arrived. She doesn’t know what about Eddie he thought was reliable enough to give him the keys to the bar, but she guesses it’s ‘I don’t want to go work early because some teenagers want to set up their instruments to play their shitty music’. It works for them though, because the kids had been saying how much they wanted to see them play, but they are not allowed to come into the bar when it’s open, so they have come extra early so they can listen to a couple of songs before people start arriving.
“Hey lovebirds!” A voice shouts. It’s one of Eddie’s bandmates. Gareth, Robin thinks he is called. “Stop being disgusting and come here so we can start?”
Robin turns to look for who he could be calling out for. Nancy and Jonathan have not come today, and everyone is in the stage area, everyone except…
“Did you just call Steve and Eddie lovebirds?”
“Yeah, since they started dating they’ve been unbearable.”
“DATING?” Dustin shrieks beside them.
“Shit, sorry, was that supposed to be a secret?” Gareth asks, and he sounds genuinely scared. Robin would normally appreciate it but-
“Oh, you think they are actually dating?” Dustin asks, but it doesn’t sound like a question, more like a realisation.
“Aren’t they?” Jeff asks.
“No, no, it’s just Eddie saying weird things.” Dustin dismisses, but Robin is frozen in place, the cogs in her mind turning.
“You are not dating?” Gareth asks to the side and yep, there Eddie and Steve are, now close to them. Eddie has his arm around Steve’s shoulder and they are leaning against each other.
Shit.
“We are,” Steve says easily. “They just don’t believe us.” Eddie bumps his head against Steve’s and he moves his head slightly away with an annoyed look that looks more fond than anything else.
Robin and Dustin are gaping at them and, from the sudden quiet around them she guesses the rest are too.
“Wait you two are actually dating?!” Lucas voice comes from behind them. “But Dustin said you weren’t going out with anyone because you liked Robin?”
That shakes Robin out of it, if only to turn around and say, “Ew, no.” Doesn’t matter who he is talking to.
“And I told Mike and Robin I was dating Eddie,” Steve says. “And you saw us kissing.”
“Yeah but- I don’t know.”
Eddie’s bandmates are now dying of laughter, Robin can’t even blame them.
“How was I supposed to believe you were telling the truth!” Robin exclaims. That provokes more laughs.
“Wait,” Max intervenes. “So that day you were sleeping together without a shirt…” She trails off, but they all see in her face what she just realised. “Gross!”
“Oh shut up Mayfield,” Eddie says. “I saw you looking at my boyfriend’s tits.”
That shuts Max up.
“You really are dating Steve?” Mike asks.
“Yes, and no stupid comments or your character is dead Wheeler.” Eddie states, pointing to Mike with the arm that is not around Steve.
And that shuts Mike up with a huff and a shake of his head.
“So you two are boyfriends?” El asks. “I think that’s cute.”
“Thanks El,” Steve says.
“I can’t believe you got with a boy before I got with a girl!” Robin exclaims. “And I didn’t know!”
“You would have known if you had believed me!” Steve exclaims back.
“Well sorry for thinking about your dating record and drawing conclusions.”
“Okay, okay,” Gareth interrupts them. “As funny as this is, we need to start now if we want to play anything before the owner arrives.”
“Let’s get this party going,” Eddie exclaims. He moves away from Steve to grab his guitar, and then goes back to Steve and kisses him on the lips. Actually kisses him on the lips in front of everyone, and Steve doesn’t really react except from a smile because why would he? They have been boyfriends for weeks apparently. “Be back in a minute sweetheart.”
Robin fake gags.
Steve moves to stand next to Robin. He has this shit eating grin on his face that Robin can’t stand.
“Shut up,” she says.
Eddie is on the stage now, looking at them with a stupid smile on his face. She should have known they were dating.
“Told you so,” Steve just says.

megumi’s pissed— pissed with a big, capital p. he’s bothered a lot; irritated and agitated with people daily, no stranger to fingers curling into a fist either at his sides or to the top of someone’s head. but right now, in the cold of your room, he’s pissed.
“take this shit off.” he won’t dare lift his hands himself because if megumi is a man of anything it’s principle. you laugh— louder than a giggle but nonetheless muffled by your pursed lips— and shake your head.
“no can do, nutmeg.” and now he’s really mad.
“don’t call me that.” he’s itching, his normally protruding hair flattened, his palms clammy, his breathing shallow.
“c’mon, why are you so miserable all the time?” it’s a slow drawl, a whine that he has to force himself to ignore. “can’t you show a little joy? maybe even some jubilance? or dare you say it might kill you?”
your name comes out stern, calculated and pointed in a way he knows will get to you, and simply, he repeats himself.
“take this shit off.”
megumi fushiguro is not a big believer of tradition. he has never obsessed over a birthday— although he did buy you a singular cupcake and candle on yours— or stressed at the thought of marriage. he’s not big on anniversaries and he couldn’t care less about a baby shower or bachelor party, so naturally holiday’s mean nothing to him.
you on the other hand are, in his own words, a nutcase. you’d met him two weeks before the christmas prior and insisted you get each other small trinkets. on valentine’s day you gave everyone you knew a card, on easter you mastered the art of making your very own chocolate, on halloween you bought a costume that he refused to wear.
and now, here you are again; snow on the ground outside and a small, and frankly sad, tree in your room symbolizing not only the biggest day of your year but an absolutely grueling year of knowing you.
you sit in front of him, criss cross, with a goofy little grin on your face. he can’t help but think it’s utterly disgusting that that’s doing something for him. regardless though, he stands his ground.
“if you don’t take this off right now i’m not talking to you for a week.” you laugh for real this time, shaking your head with more energy than before.
“well we both know that’s a lie. i’d probably drop dead if you did that and then, overwhelmed by guilt, you’d turn into an even weirder and sadder old man.”
“i’m not old. take this shit off.” atop his head sat a truthfully horrific santa hat. it couldn’t have cost more than two dollars, assortment of dim led lights on the trim. he can’t help but think of how many little, lice ridden kids must have tried this on. but he still won’t budge.
“you know you can just take it off yourself, right?” he does know that— obviously— but again, he has beliefs. he has pride. it has absolutely nothing to do with the fact you’re looking at him like he’s heaven on earth or the matching hat smothering your own hair. it has nothing to do with you at all.
he shifts, leaning his body weight onto his left side as he presses his hands into the plush of your bed to lift himself up. he makes a little show of it, slow and meticulous as he barely raises himself.
it would be so easy to avoid this situation. it would be so simple to shake his head or yank the hat off or have stopped you from putting it there to begin with.
megumi’s pissed, but it’s not with you.
“i’m serious. it’d actually be nice to have a moment of quiet in my brain.” megumi is furious, livid and squirming in his own skin. he’s absolutely, unequivocally angry.
he’s angry because he can’t figure out why for the dear life of him there’s a tightly wrapped gift tucked in the bottom of his bag, or why he knows the nearly exact color hex of your eyes, or why he’s hummed— hummed— the song ‘war is over’ twice this week.
you grumble, butt hurt and annoyed now too, and you reach over as fast as you can and snatch it off of him.
“there,” and now megumi’s even more upset because that upset him and his head feels cold and empty now. “happy now?”
and before he can think, before he can be as calculated as he always is, it slips.
“no.” and in that moment something shifts. it’s both of you, just a little bit towards each other, it’s the tension that’s now (and always has been) in the air, it’s the way your hat slips a little to the side.
“well i just can’t win with you, can i?” the— his— hat lays loose between your fingers, your voice quieter than he thinks he’s ever heard it.
megumi wonders time to time if he’s a coward. he knows he’s strong, he knows he’s just in his opinions, he knows he fights. but sometimes he freezes and sometimes he panics and sometimes he can’t look you in the eye.
maybe it’s time for him to be brave. he leans into you, closer to you, breathing you all in and, brushing your fingers in the process, he takes it back from you.
suddenly it’s warm again. suddenly you’re matching again. suddenly he feels close to you again.
“there.” for once, it feels like christmas to megumi. “happy now?” and it feels like he’s got a gift in front of him.

Back off, kid.
Pairing: gojo satoru x reader
Note ₊˚⊹♡ : this is a part 2 but you don’t really ly need much context haha.
·:*¨༺ Part 1 ༻¨*:·

“You know you guys don’t really look alike.” You say as you bring your hands up and rearrange the tuft of hair to your liking, you hum when the other wise spiky persistent hair bends obediently.
While in-front of you there was a younger dark haired boy, face completely pink but doesn’t dare let any part of his body move from your touch. “We aren’t related so we shouldn’t look alike.” Fushiguro tries to act as normal as ever.
“You know he has been introducing himself as your dad in your PTAs.” you pull away with a smile. “Satoru says they get so shocked and think he is a teen-dad.” You laugh as you trail back to the memory, Gojo’s snarky comment on ‘If I’m Megumi’s dad then you’re his mom; Which makes you my wife~’ remains unsaid.
When you pull away, Fushiguro finally feels his body release tension and finally he lets out a sigh. He hopes Tsumiki comes back finishing her club meeting soon.
“Why are you sighing like a old man, Megumi?” You get up from cushion floor as you then proceed to sit on the nearby sofa and cross you legs, giving him a teasing smile.
Fushiguro looks away from you with a huff. “Just a small headache.” and maybe even a chest pain. Both caused by you.
You hum as you then let out a ‘ah—!’ as you then proceeded to smile and pat on you nap. “Come here.” You smile proudly.
Poor Fushiguro Megumi’s face burst into steam from the heat radiating off his face. “Like hell I can!”
“Megumi…” you said in a soft tone which make the younger boy flatter. “I’m not teasing, I’ll just give you a massage.”
The boy huffs and sits infront of his feet as he felt your gentle soft hands guide his head to you lap. His frown dissipates as he then lets out a sigh of relief upon the movement of your hands near his temple.
You let out a giggle to how Fushiguro was acting like an old man, maybe this is what happens to people who deal with Gojo on a daily basis. “How’s school? from next year you’re going to be a middle school student,megumi.”
It’s been a while since you visited, already finished with highschool and now acting as an active jujutsu sorcerer has kept you busy but still then you would always visit once a week, make them a good meal while also bringing in some groceries. You didn’t have to but you’ve always done it, your soul was so unwavering it warmed Fushiguro to his very core.
“I’ve been using the notes you’ve prepared for me so school is pretty smooth for now…” Fushiguro finally replied as he still doesn’t move his head from your lap, his eyes closed and arms crossed infront of him, cheeks with a rosey color.
“Thank god.” You beam, Fushiguro watches from the crack of his eyes. “It was actually my notes from back in the days. I always kept them with me.”
Fushiguro closes his eyes, the more he watches you the more he feels his heart constrict as if it ran a marathon. “y/n, I want to say… thank you—ugh!” The poor boy’s was pushed off your lap with a sudden but controlled push. “What the hell?”
“I’m so tiredddddd, y/n.” The voice almost purrs as there is a tuft of white hair on the plush of your thighs. You blink at Gojo who seemed to be looking at you from behind his bandages with a wide smiles plastered on his face. “Gimme a massage too~”
Fushiguro knows this scene too well.
Perhaps he wasn’t as subtle as he thought but any time he was too close to you, Gojo who is in his early 20s and almost a decade older than him always manages to throw him away. And now he watches you frowning and reprimanded Gojo for acting like that.
He sighs. “I’m leaving.”
You and Gojo quickly turn to his direction. You had a confused look to your face then it contours to something of worry. Was he mad at Gojo? Fushiguro could almost hear your thoughts.
Where as Gojo who currently has his head on his lap and one of his hand playing with your finger, give him a confused look before it turns into a full blown egotistical. ‘I won!’ smirk.
“Got homework.” Fushiguro turns and leaves.
“Satoru, you’re always acting like that to Megumi.” You say as you tear your hands away from his and then give his head a light ‘chop’.
“Then he shouldn’t touch what’s mine.” He huffs , as he closed his eyes and forms a sassy pout.
“What’s mine?” You question. “Did Megumi take something of yours?“
“No…Right now, it’s still with me.” Gojo opens his eyes, which makes your breath hitch. his eyes ever so beautiful as the evening glow assist its glimmer. “You know what I mean right?”
Your breath hitches and suddenly the room is much hotter,your heart races as it blooms in warmth.
Gojo’s face softens as he looks at your flustered face. “What I mean is… I’m in lo—UGH!”
“Sorry”
Suddenly a new enters the room, the same dark haired boy who left moments earlier. “My pencil slipped from my hand.”
“Megumi, you brat!” Gojo stands up, with currently a pencil stabbed on his forehead. Megumi threw it because he knew Gojo wouldn’t even think of letting his infinity be active when he was near you after all.
Gojo watches as Fushiguro gives him his usual deadpanned look before it turns into a full blown egotistical. ‘Hah! As if I’ll let you confess on my watch’ smile.

Acting Normal
Pairing: Javier Peña x fem!reader
Summary: Javi’s been thinking about that night every minute of every day, while you're acting like it never even happened, and if he doesn't do something about it, he's gonna lose his mind.
warnings: smut| fingering, protected p in v sex, dirty talk, javi being a simp, sex in the workplace, (it's not public but there's a possibility of getting caught)
a/n: I already know what to write for part 3, this couple is my new obsession lol
This is a part 2 to this story, but it can be read alone
Javi
This was really important stuff
He was really supposed to be listening
He was paid to listen to it,
that's what he kept repeating himself,
and yet- yet if someone asked him to repeat whatever Carillo was saying, he couldn't have spit out one singular word.
But it wasn't his fault, not really.
You must have been doing it on purpose, there was no way you were doing all that just accidentally.
Your lips were wrapped around the lollipop in a way that left nothing to the imagination- he could feel those lips on him, he knew how soft and sweet they were from kissing them, but around him... oh they would feel even sweeter, he was sure-
"If you're not gonna listen to me then why am I even here?"
It took Javier much too long to realize what Carillo had said
"I'm listening" he stated with enough confidence to fool anyone- except he was talking to one of the few people that could see right through his bullshit.
"I'm surprised you haven't done it yet" the Colonel shook his head, blowing out a cloud of smoke "I thought she would have given in by now"
"I don't know what you're talking about"
Carillo couldn't help but laugh.
"You've been obsessed with her since she first arrived"
Javier hadn't even noticed that his gaze was back on you... or that his colleague had spoken again.
"yeah," Carillo chuckled, patting Javi's back "I'll just talk to Murphy"
And that was that, Carillo was gone, and Peña was left at a desk at the corner of the room, staring at you with the intensity with which a lion watches a gazelle.
He didn't know what the fuck to do.
To be completely honest with himself, he'd made a fucking mess.
He'd always been attracted to you, I mean there's not much of you that any man could find not hot, and sure, he'd spent about a year flirting with you as you rolled your eyes at him... but that's just how he was- he never thought it'd ever actually happen- and now...
Now he was fucked
You seemed so incredibly normal around him, like that night a week ago had been just a perfect dream, while him- fuck he couldn't even look at you without picturing how perfect you looked from between your tighs.
He'd thought he could manage to just do it that one time, to get it out of his system... what a stupid fucking bastard- he'd only made everything ten times worse.
And the worst part was that you didn't seem affected by it, not even a little bit- like now, there you were, looking all concentrated and everything, your brows furrowed, your bare legs crossed, one of them swinging ever so often, and your lips... your lips wrapped around the candy were an image sent straight from heaven.
Fuck- he was half fucking hard just by looking at you.
He needed to do something- now- or he was gonna go fucking crazy.
__ __ __
"can I have a talk with you for a moment?"
He was leaning over your desk, not doing a great job of masking his desire.
You, on the other hand, hadn't even looked up from the paper before you.
"what's up?"
what's up?
He'd made you squirt on your boss' desk for fuck's sake, and you tell him what's up??
"Just something I think you could help me out with, in the evidence room"
"now?" you winced, finally looking at him
"Yeah now"
__ __ __
"so what is it? did they misplace a file again-"
"How are you acting so normal?"
A gasp fled your mouth as you turned around and found him but an inch from you
"Jesus" you breathed "what are you talking about?"
"and who even eats lollipops past the age of five?"
He took a step closer and you took a step back, only for your back to hit the wall.
He'd cornered you.
"what is going on with you?" you hissed, only for him to take another slow step, and place his hand on the wall, right next to your head
"you, that's what's going on with me" his breath was fanning over your mouth, images of last week's night flashing both your minds "I've had the best sex of my life with you, and you're acting like it was just another Tuesday night"
"I-"
"I can still taste you on my tongue, I can still feel you around me, and you look at me like I'm nothing more than a fucking colleague y/n"
"Javier-"
"And then" he chuckled darkly, interrupting you once again "and then you have the nerve to suck on a fucking lollipop right in front me-"
A soft laugh couldn't help but bubble up your throat at that.
"Did that seriously... turn you on?"
"So what if it did?" he purred, his left hand finding your waist and forcing you off the wall and flush against him, against the blatant proof of his arousal.
You gasped, your hands clutching the shirt covering his chest.
"you're worse than a hormonal teenager"
His eyes sparked with malice as he bent down, his mouth skimming your mouth and cheeks, leaving shivers in his passage, until he pressed his lips right below your ear.
"A hormonal teen that made you squirt for the first time in your life"
"Javier-" your voice had already reduced to a thread of a whimper.
Fuck him and his irresistible sex appeal.
He was right, no one had ever made you feel as good as he had, and as much as he thought you weren't affected by that knowledge, he'd be shocked to find out how difficult it proved not to squirm every time he merely looked at you.
Yes, of course you were constantly thinking about that night too.
"Tell me you don't think about it"
He was like a mind reader
You stayed silent, conscious that any response you could give would inevitably give you away.
"That's what I thought" A snicker rumbled from his chest, his hand moving from your waist to slide underneath the hem of your skirt.
You hummed, your brain only half functioning as he continued to trail hot wet kisses down your throat.
"W-what are you doing?" you tried to speak normally without success.
"what does it look like I'm doing?" he smirked, his hand now fully cupping your clothed core, making you whine "What I've been thinking of doing for a whole damn week- so I don't lose my mind"
Two of his fingers were circling the wet spot on your panties when a phone rang from the other room, making your eyes snap open.
What the fuck were you doing?
You were at work- anyone could come in at any moment.
"Javier wait," you said, finally getting your voice back to normal.
"what is it, sweetheart?" from the way his eyes were still a thousand shades darker and blatantly staring at your mouth you could have guessed the danger of being caught didn't trouble him one bit.
"We can't"
He groaned frustratedly then, his head falling between your neck and shoulder
"why not sweetheart?"
"are you serious?" a quick laugh bubbled up your throat "we're at work"
"so?"
"so?" you parroted, only your voice was heightening with exasperation "so anyone could catch us at any given moment"
A soft smirk pulled at his lips, the hand that was still on your wall going to your waist to get you flush against him
"Are you ashamed of me sweetheart?" he teased
"Well, to be completely honest having sex with the biggest slut in Columbia isn't exactly my highest moment"
He feigned a gasp, his hot breath fanning over your own parted mouth
"Me? A slut?"
"yeah, you" You couldn't fight the smile pulling at your lips.
There he was, doing it again- making all your common sense fly out the window with his godforsaken charm.
"c'mon baby, I'll be quick"
And although you didn't want to, you could see yourself starting to consider his proposal.
"that's supposed to convince me?" you arched a brow, an amused smile pulling at your lips
"What, you think I can't make you come quickly?" he purred, his hand going to your ass in a swift move to grab at it.
You bit down a whine "Well I don't know"
"tell me you don't want it" he teased, the fingers on your core starting a torturous path up and down your still-clothed, but unbelievably drenched, slit "That you don't want this"
His fingers had trespassed your panties and had now found your raw skin, making you gasp
"anyone could come in us, including Messina" you added breathlessly
"I locked the door" he promised, his forehead on yours as his ring and middle finger gently found their way inside of you.
"a-and what if someone needs to get in?" you tried your best not to moan, but the way he curled his fingers made it so very fucking difficult
"then we'll tell them to fuck off" he murmured, his mouth now touching yours, but still not kissing you.
"If we get caught I'm gonna kill you, we clear?"
"yes ma'am" he smirked, his breath mixing with yours
"now- may I kiss you, baby?"
You rolled your eyes before answering "Yes, you may"
And just like that, he was devouring you, his lips crashing with yours and his tongue sliding into your mouth to explore every inch of it, gaining dominance on your own in a matter of seconds.
"fuck I missed this" he groaned, his fingers suddenly speeding up and robbing you of all ability to tease him about his words "these fucking lips are gonna be the death of me"
Your mouth was open as you desperately tried to get oxygen to your lungs, but he didn't care, he took your bottom lip into his mouth and started sucking, his fingers fastening their pace as the filthy sound of your wetness bounced off the walls of the room.
"tell me you thought about it too" he growled, his palm making contact with your clit and forcing you to gasp as your hips started grinding onto it, onto his hand, sparks of pleasure staining your vision. "tell me I'm not the only crazy one baby"
You bit your lip to stifle a moan as you felt yourself grow closer to a release.
"shit- you look so fucking hot when you're about to come"
"I-" your eyes were squeezed shut, but you could feel the heat of his stare on you, the way his eyes never left you, not even as he kissed your neck, the soft stubble of his mustache tickling your skin "I've thought about it too javi"
The satisfied groan he let out told you just about everything you needed to know.
"When?" he asked, his voice hoarse, his fingers relentless
"A-always" you whimpered, "e-everytime I look at you"
shit- maybe you shouldn't have said that
"yeah?" a wolfish grin tugged at his lips "You think about me? about my cock? my fingers? my tongue?"
You mewled at his words, at the memory they brought with them, at how fucking good he was making you feel-
"J-Javi please"
"what?" he breathed, his mouth on yours again, your hips grinding shamelessly onto his hand "You're gonna come baby, 's that it?"
"y-yeah- fuck- I-"
he knew the signs by now, he knew those desperate breathless sounds you made just as you reached your peak- and god did he fucking love them
"come for me- come baby" he murmured, his lips crushing with yours to stifle your moans just as your walls spasmed around his digits- wave after wave of pleasure coursing through your body.
Oh how he loved seeing the strong fiery woman he saw every day come apart beneath him, all your walls crumbling down 'till there was just pure lust and pleasure beneath your eyes, 'till your body went limp and clung to him for support.
"fuck" you breathed your eyes finally opening again, only to find that his had never left yours. "I-" you gulped, but his lips were on yours again, his hands holding your face on each side, his fingers now out of you.
"w-we should get back," you said, mostly trying to remind yourself, of where you really were, of what you were really doing... but it was all so difficult when he was looking at you like that- when you could feel his hard cock straining against his jeans- the same one that had felt so fucking good inside of you.
"we should" he agreed, although a twisted grin played on his lips.
he was already kissing you again, exploring you again, and in no time you found yourself caged between him and a shelf filled with boxes of evidence, your legs wrapped around his waist and your arms around his neck.
Damn him
"People are gonna start wondering where we are"
"we're here... looking at evidence," he said like it was the most obvious thing in the world, his hips grinding onto you, his mouth on the corner of your lips.
"fuck- fine," you murmured, the need for him stronger than anything at this point, even than the fear of getting fired.
He didn't waste a second- his dick was out in a heartbeat, and your panties were pulled to the side before you had even time to breathe.
His tip, his red, glistening tip found your entrance, making you gasp.
"c-condom" you suddenly remembered, your voice so feeble it was almost inaudible "Please tell me you've got a condom"
"fuck- you're right" he muttered, frustration tracing his tone "I should have one in my wallet"
Of course he had one in his wallet
His left hand reached into his back pocket, finding his wallet and taking the condom out of it as quickly as he could, throwing the wallet somewhere to the side.
You were supporting yourself all on your own as he rolled the condom onto his dick, which might sound easy... but seeing the state of your leg it really was a miracle.
It was all so fast, he seemed desperate as he guided his tip to your entrance, as he gripped your waist and kissed your lips while entering you.
He was so fucking big, definitely the biggest one you'd ever encountered, and not only that... but he fucking knew how to use it too.
It was impossible not to moan, and for him, it was impossible not to groan- let's just say the possibility of getting caught wasn't first on the list of things in your mind at the moment.
"fuckfuckfuck" you whimpered, letting out a soft cry when he finally bottomed out
"Jesus Christ you feel fucking perfect" he growled, his eyes on yours, his hands gripping your waist as he tried his best to give you a moment to adjust and not start to fuck you like an animal right away.
"J-Javi"
And that, that little plead in your voice was all he needed to hear.
There was no way the sound of your skin slapping with his couldn't be heard from outside.
He felt so fucking good- criminally so.
"oh my g-" you had to bite down on something, and the little sliver of skin his shirt didn't cover right where his shoulder met his neck seemed much too perfect for your need.
He groaned, the bastard fucking groaned in pleasure as your teeth sank down into his skin, and you swore to god you could have come from that sound alone.
Your hands were laced between his neck, fingers taking hold of whatever hair you could grab, as he thrust up into you like a man starved, and you did all you could to meet his movements with the same urgency.
It had only been a week, and yet it felt like it'd been an eternity- a torturous, awful eternity of daying yourself of this.
"been thinking about this every fucking minute this week" his voice was breathy, hoarse, as he whispered to your ear "about this perfect fucking pussy of yours- about your mouth, about how- Fuck me-" his own growl interrupted him, your walls were squeezing him much too fucking tight "how good you taste, how hot you look when I'm eating you out- about this fucking perfect body of yours" he purred "Jesus christ you make me lose my mind"
You couldn't help but moan, moan at his words, at his pace, at the way his touch sent sparks flying in your belly- it was all too much.
"You've gotta be quiet baby" he murmured as you raised your head to look at him, to beg him for something- anything.
"I know sweetheart, I know" he breathed, his lips skimming yours "I know issa lot"
And to think you couldn't even stand him seven days ago... look at you now- looking into his eyes pleadingly as he fucked you in the evidence room.
"Javi" you could only breathe as his mouth crashed with yours once again, "I'm gonna-"
"I know"
Of course he knew
And just like that, you were over the edge, his tongue in your mouth muffling your cries as his thrust got more erratic, and somehow even more powerful.
Once again, he'd given you the best orgasm of your life.
He tried to hold off to let you ride it out, but fuck him it was proving to be real fucking difficult.
And then you opened your eyes- your beautiful, dreamy, eyes that he'd been dreaming of for days and there was no point in fighting it anymore-
"F-fuck y/n- fuck-"
There was a loud thud somewhere behind you, but neither of you cared enough to look, or god forbid stop- there was only you, you, and the spectacular groan Javier fed you into a kiss as he finally reached his climax.
There was only the sound of your breathing, both your heavy breathings as you looked at each other- and then you smiled, and he couldn't help but do the same.
And then all of the sudden the sounds from the office started flowing into the room again.
Oh right
"we really have to get back"
"yeah" he halfheartedly agreed, slowly setting you back on your feet, only in doing so, something caught your eye.
"fuck"
There were files on the floor- there were files on the floor because you'd knocked down some of the boxes of evidence- and you hadn't even noticed.
Javier followed your line of sight, but while panic was setting in your heart, he began to smile
"don't laugh!" you hissed, "what the fuck do we do? How do we explain this?"
"we don't" he simply shrugged, closing his zipper back up as you quickly tried to make yourself presentable.
"What?"
"we were never here- now, get back out there"
"I-"
"trust me" he said, retrieving his wallet from the floor.
And for some fucking reason, you did- you trusted him.
"I hate you so much" you muttered, finally exiting the room.

Error 404: (Self-Aware!AU, Sylus Edition) – Pt. 3

Summary: A LADS self-aware!AU featuring Sylus and a (now skeptical!) player. That’s it, that’s the plot. A/N: I’ve already outlined the entire thing–now it’s just a matter of writing it, so don’t worry! Even if some chapters take me longer to update, I’m gonna finish this one way or another. Promise. *fingers crossed* Tags: player!reader x sylus, fem!reader x sylus, reader x lads, self-aware!au, strong language, reader thinks she’s losing her marbles because of a certain someone
Pt. 1 - Pt. 2 - Pt. 3 - Pt. 4 - Pt. 5 - Pt. 6 - Pt. 7 - Pt. 8 - Pt. 9 - Pt. 10
“Alright—okay, don’t be stupid,” You chant to yourself as you pace restlessly from the kitchen area of your studio, to the coffee table where you’ve set your phone lying facedown. “Just open the damn thing.”
You’ve just arrived back at the condo a little past seven PM after a, frankly, productive—if not slightly distracted—day of running errands. You’re home, and you haven’t even got to unpacking the two paper bags (and a box) worth of groceries that were all but thrown carelessly on the kitchen counter, and already, you’re back to stressing over all the weird shit that's been happening to you.
Throughout the afternoon, you tried your hardest to resist the urge to check your phone, especially whenever you see the screen light up—whether it was in your hand or stashed away in your half-zipped fanny pack.
It’s at the most random times too, but always when you act on your unfortunate tendency to monologue your thoughts out loud.
Sure, it could just be some random push app notifications. Text messages from the few people that hit you up on the weekends—invitations to hang out, maybe. A few newsletters you forgot to unsubscribe from if you’re unlucky.
But you think the timing’s far too deliberate to be purely coincidental.
“Do I get a dozen eggs or just half? What do I even need a dozen for?” (Phone vibrates)
“Oh, hey, Indomie’s on sale if you buy in bulk. How much for a box?” (Screen flashes. Twice.)
“Who the hell is holding up the line, damn–oh, it’s an old lady. Better hurry the fuck up, grandma.” (Screen flashes) “...Sorry! I didn’t mean that.”
“Ughhh… my tummy hurty…” (Phone vibrates) “What—”
“Everything’s perfectly normal. Just your average, sunny Saturday! You are an independent, capable adult… who’s fucking losing it.” (Screen flashes–after a minute interval)
Of course, you have an inkling as to what’s—or who’s—blowing your phone up; in fact, he’s never left your mind since this morning.
So presently, you’re in the middle of having a small existential crisis over what that means, for you and your sanity. No big deal.
You puff out your cheeks for a couple of seconds before letting out a deep breath. Don’t be a pussy. I’m sure there’s a logical explanation to all of this. You’re— you’re not crazy.
Landing heavily down in front of the low table, you finally grab your phone, hand shaking with the teensiest amount of trepidation. Not giving yourself any more time to think and second-guess, you flip it over, switching it back to Ring mode as you swipe up to see—
—a barrage of notifications; one popping up after another.
Some of them are what you’ve expected: plain, old push notifications from banking apps, others from varying socials. There’s one from your mom. A reminder to email her the flight tickets you still haven’t gotten around to booking yet.
And. Six banner notifications from the game. From… from—him. It’s something you’ve already braced yourself for. It doesn’t prepare you, however, for what they actually said.
A knot grows in your chest, spreading rapidly like slithering twine as your mind tries, and somewhat fails, to make sense of what your eyes are seeing.
Grab a dozen, sweetie. It won’t add much to the total cost, and you need that protein every morning. Cereal’s not gonna cut it.
You really ought to lessen your sodium intake, kitten. (and) Do NOT get the box. Stop.
Haha. A feisty one, aren’t you?
Mmm, poor baby.
I– we can talk about this later when you get home.
Each notification contains a completely unique dialogue you’ve never seen before. A play-by-play commentary specifically in response to you—to your personal remarks from earlier, spoken out loud—that there is absolutely no way anyone could still pass this off as simply being system-generated.
A faint ringing echoes in your ears as you slowly draw back, putting some distance between the onslaught of text and… you. You can’t seem to tear your gaze away from the screen, though. Even if the back of your head bumps against the seat edge of the sofa behind you from how far you’ve already leaned back.
Blinking in stunned silence, the only thing you could croak out is a strained “what the fuuuck.”
... Ping!
Still mustering the courage to face me? Don’t keep me in suspense, darling.
The sudden message jolts you back to reality. You suck in a deep breath.
… Despite everything, you can’t help but find his nonchalant response to your gradual spiral into hysterics—because he knows—a little amusing. Also rude. But mostly funny.
(It’s also probably just your brain’s last-ditch effort to find some semblance of control, but whatever.)
At this point, you know that you’re merely delaying the inevitable. Swallowing, you press on one of Sylus’ messages and it immediately boots up the game.
Instead of soothing your nerves like it usually does, the orchestral background music from the loading screen puts you more on edge; your anxiety builds up to a crescendo, harmonious to the heralding of what you know will undoubtedly change the trajectory of your life.
Dramatic, but true.
48%... 82%... 98%...
There’s a hollow drop in your stomach when the screen—finally—reveals the familiar sight of the café. The golden ambient light enters your field of vision for a split second before your eyes flit reflexively to the man standing in the middle of the screen, whose presence commandeered your full attention.
He’s wearing his motorcycle jacket—the black one with the red and white thorn(?) accents, paired along the pair of leather pants with the iconic double zipper. Aside from the black zircon studs, he’s not wearing anything out of the ordinary. Nothing is looking out of the ordinary, actually.
Holding your breath, you wait for the other shoe to drop.
“Are you waiting for me to say hello? Then–” Sylus muses with an amused lilt to his voice, sauntering closer to flick “your” forehead. There’s a beat before he continues: “That’s my way of saying hello.”
… Huh?
That’s—this isn’t how it’s supposed to go. You… you don’t know what you were expecting, but this wasn’t it.
The man in front of you doesn’t look any different from how he usually does; the way that his… character animation (Should you call it that? It doesn’t seem right, given the circumstance, but you don’t know how best to describe anything anymore) flows is so–-so infuriatingly… normal. As if it’s just like any other day that you’ve logged in the game.
Where did the sentience go? Why is he reciting lines he’s programmed to say? None of it adds up.
Your mouth tries to form words, but nothing comes out. With wide eyes, you helplessly gape at him. Speechless. For a moment, you feel like you’ve actually gone mad.
A small “what’s happening?” slips past your lips. Your eyes dart across his face, trying to analyze every microexpression, any hint of sentience on him—in his eyes, in his movements.
You find none.
Mechanically, you exit the game.
“What the actual fuck?” You whisper-shout at nothing in particular, and maybe to the biggest cause of your current disconcertion; one who you thought… Who you were sure was—
-
-
Fuck it. It’s time to put your detective skills to work.

—LO۷ESTⱤUCK F𐌀N
contents damian wayne x fem!reader, youtuber!reader au, fluff, 2k+ wc. synopsis now that you've started accepting fan mail, damian jumps at the chance to send you something (though, honestly, he’d send himself if he could). pt 2 of "unexpected crush?!" (@liabiamiakiawia hope you like it 🫶🏻) pt 3.

No. Freaking. Way.
Was this a dream? A hallucination? Some cruel trick of the mind?
There was no way she actually posted her address. But as he blinked at the screen, rereading the words for the hundredth time, the reality hit him like a Batarang to the chest:
"Accepting fan gifts/letters! Address & city number: xxxxx. Can't wait to see what my luvies gift me :)"
His heart stopped. Then restarted at double the speed.
He. Was. Ecstatic.
Well—ecstatic in a very Damian Wayne, son of an assassin and the Dark Knight, kind of way.
A normal person might be pacing, grinning, maybe even screaming into a pillow. But Damian? He just sat there, staring at the screen, his grip tightening on his phone as his brain raced a thousand miles per second.
This was huge. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The only chance he’d ever have to send her something, something meaningful—something that would make her smile.
Immediately, he started skimming through her videos, mind buzzing with possibilities. What did she like? What did she need? What could he give her that would stand out from the rest?
Something perfect. It had to be perfect.
After intense (possibly obsessive) research, he finally settled on three things:
1. A Beauty of Joseon skincare set—not that a face as flawless as hers needed skincare. If anything, the skincare needed her.
2. A cute hairclip set—he remembered her gushing over some in a video. Hers were old, but she hated overconsumption, always mindful of her brand collaborations (another thing about her that made his heart do weird things: her caringness for the planet).
3. Some top-tier Chinese makeup—only the best for her.
His lips curled into a satisfied smirk as he saw the total.Just a casual $1K. Nothing much for a Wayne.
Then again… if she asked, he'd get her the moon and stars. Nothing was ever too much for her. Ever.
By the time he finalized his list, it was nearly noon. And by the time he finished hunting everything down in-store, it was noon.
Now, back in his room, Damian sat cross-legged on his floor, staring at the disaster zone of wrapping paper around him.
He exhaled sharply, frustration bubbling up as he crumpled yet another piece of pink wrapping paper—now a casualty of way too much tape—and chucked it aside.
This was so new to him. He barely ever gave gifts, and even when he did, Alfred was the one who wrapped them.
With a sigh, Damian pulled out his phone and searched, How to wrap gifts (EASY and pretty).
Following the tutorial with painstaking precision, his thoughts started to wander.
It wasn’t like he was an idiot. After a full week of stubborn denial, he’d finally accepted it—he had a crush. A real, actual crush on a girl he’d never even met.
And honestly? That annoyed him. Apparently, there was some illness where people obsessed over their favorite celebrities or internet personalities.
But he wasn’t sick! Sure, there were plenty of things wrong with him—a packaged deal that came with being the son of his parents—but this? This wasn’t an obsession. And he was definitely not a stalker.
He just... really liked this girl.
Pausing mid-task, he set down the half-wrapped package and reached for a pen and paper.
"Dear ___,My name is Damian Wayne. I'm a teen from Gotham..."
Hours passed—writing, re-writing, crumpling papers, fixing the bow on the package that would soon be crossing oceans.
Finally, Damian collapsed onto his bed, staring up at the ceiling.
He sighed.
Please let this work.
Sitting up, he picked up the now perfectly wrapped gift box, his fingers absentmindedly tracing along the frilly bow.
And then, without thinking, he brought the box to his lips, pressing a light kiss against it.
Oh. Oh.
A wave of déjà vu hit him— reminding him of the air-kiss he tried to catch through his laptop screen a week prior.
For a second, he just sat there, the ghost of a smile tugging at his lips before he scoffed softly at himself.
Damian Wayne had officially lost. He liked her. Like liked her.
And now, all he could do was hope—pray—that this box, this dumb little package of gifts, would somehow, someway, connect them.
Maybe. Just maybe. Something real would come out of this stupid crush.
"Tch… emotions suck."
He laughed under his breath, though there was no real bite to his words.
Setting the package on his bedside table, he turned off the light and crawled into bed.
Tomorrow, he’d send it.
And then? He’d wait.

۶ৎ BROTHERS BSF!MATT x SWEETHEART!READER

𝜗𝜚 warnings... veeerryy short, nothing!! just them being cuties :P
“oh, um- hi matt,” you looked up at your doorway, immediately meeting matt’s eyes. you clutch the diary in your hands to your chest haphazardly, an almost flustered look taking over your face.
“hey there sweetheart.. what’re you writing?” he chuckled, the blush adorning your cheeks not going unnoticed by him when his eyes roamed your face, before flickering to the diary clasped in your arms. he leans against the doorway, his arms crossed. oh god.
quickly, you look down at the diary, nearly forgetting how to speak, unsure what to say that wasn't 'i was actually writing about you'.
“um, well it’s nothing.. just girl stuff,” you giggled nervously, looking back up from your bed to meet his eyes.
matt brushes it off with a nod, taking a step into your room, looking around the decorations and interior that prettified your room.
“sh-shouldn’t you be with my brother?” you murmured, watching as he picked up a few trinkets to look at, before leaving them exactly how they were just a second prior.
normally you would mind it a little if people came barging into your room, picking up your stuff and messing it around. but it was almost as if it didn’t matter because it was matt doing it. plus, he wasn’t messy with it.
“nah, he can wait. he's just grabbing a drink. i’d rather be talking to his pretty sister instead,” he smiled, giving you a quick glance, before returning his eyes to your posters, acting as if they were the most interesting thing in the world when really he was absolutely shitting his pants from how nervous he was.
you almost felt like you couldn’t move, letting out a soft giggle at his words, your cheeks turning beet red. it wasn't often that you got to talk to matt, yet he always knew exactly what to say and how to fluster you.
“yeah.. right,” you sighed, closing the diary and placing it on your nightstand to scoot up next to matt, looking at the same poster he was, before glimpsing down.
he looked at you. “what do you mean? i think you’re pretty cute,” an almost trembling finger hooked under your chin, lifting your face from the floor to meet his eyes.
he had told you a couple times already through the small notes he left on your desk, so it was no secret. but yet it left you with butterflies in your stomach and a light smile tugging on your lips.
your eyes flickered back and forth between his, blinking rapidly when his hand made its way to cup the side of your face, pulling you closer. a soft pink hue dusted across your cheeks and nose, getting lost in the moment.
“matt..? c-can you.. can you ki-“ and just when you were about to ask the forbidden question, you got abruptly interrupted by none other than your brother, taking a step back from matt.
“matt? what are you doing, i’m waiting for you, dude.” your brother pushed the door open, matt’s hand immediately leaving your face, his soft and relaxed demeanor now gone.
“yeah, sorry. my bad, just wanted to see your sister room,” he chuckles awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck as he pats out of the room. he shoots you an apologetic glance and a rushed smile, before closing your door behind you.
and there you stood, flustered, a blushing mess, slightly annoyed, and alone. yet, a subtle smile made its way to your lips, reaching for your diary.

A/N: this has been sitting in my drafts fully written for like a month, i’m so sorry 😅 but i know we all love the professor episode, so I had to write a little something about it 🫶🏻 - mod angel
Pairing: Professor!Reid x Wife!Reader
Summary: Spencer is confused about why so many students are auditing his class. As his wife, you decide to come and investigate.
~~~
You heard the apartment door open, glancing up to see Spencer drop his keys on the table by the door.
You were reading on the couch, laying down and killing time before it was time for him to come home. You sat up, placing your bookmark on the page you last read before dropping your book on the coffee table. “Welcome home,” you smiled up at him.
He flashed a little smile, but you could tell something was up. You moved to sit cross-legged, making room for him on the couch. “What’s wrong?” You asked, patting the spot next to you so he could sit.
He plopped down on the couch, sighing, wrapping an arm around your shoulders. You leaned up to kiss him on the cheek. He closed his eyes and leaned into you.
“You looked so excited this morning,” you ran your fingers through his hair, something that had become routine when he came back from a tough case, or just needed some extra affection for any reason. “What happened?”
He sighed again, turning to look at you, resting his head back on the couch. “I don’t know, I was really excited to teach. I love sharing what I know with people.”
You nodded, fully aware of this. It was something you loved about him, always eager to teach you something new. It was annoying when other people did it, but not when Spencer did it. “Uh-huh. So what’s the problem?”
“I… I was eager to be an actual professor, hoping I could help people with their studies and their grades.” He looked a little frustrated. “But most people are only auditing the class. Only a handful aren’t.”
You nodded thoughtfully. “That’s not what you were expecting, huh?”
He shook his head. “I mean, I guess it’s good that people want to learn about this stuff? It’s just not how I pictured it.” He shrugged, running a hand through his hair. “At least they’re listening to me. And some of them are pretty enthusiastic about participating. There were a few girls who seemed really excited about this stuff.”
You looked at him, narrowing your eyes a bit, a little smile on your face. “Wait, so… these people are auditing your class. And girls are participating… you said they listen to you… do you think they’re paying a little too much attention to you?” You inquired, slightly amused.
He gave you a confused look. “What do you mean? I think it’s a normal amount of attention to pay to a class.” He shrugged. “I mean, I always felt like no one was paying enough attention when I was in college, so I was pleasantly surprised that people were actually participating, asking questions, some of them even stayed for a bit after the class let out because they wanted to know more.”
You couldn’t help but let out a little laugh. “Uh-huh… so, you got college students to not only stay awake, but alert and attentive… and they wanted to stay after class,” you spoke slowly, wondering if he would get the hint.
He nodded. “Yeah? Why?”
You gave him a pat on the shoulder, smiling and shaking your head. “Yeah, I know exactly why so many people are auditing your class.”
He still looked confused. Very oblivious. It was kind of adorable. “I don’t understand,” he replied, his brows furrowed.
You wrapped your arms around his shoulders, twirling a finger in his hair. “They must’ve heard that this class has a sexy professor.” You laugh softly, watching the cogs turn in his brain as he processed this.
He scrunched his nose a bit, shaking his head. “No, I don’t think that…” He stopped, his eyes darting around as he became deep in thought. Probably perfectly recalling everything from his class that day. “… You really think that’s it?”
You nodded, kissing his cheek. “It’s adorable you wouldn’t have even considered that if I didn’t say anything.” He was absentmindedly running his thumb over your hand that rested on his shoulder. “I mean, I don’t blame them. I’d definitely audit your class.” You took his hand and started twirling his wedding band around his ring finger. “Did you tell them you’re married?”
He started to blush a little at the attention you were giving him, and at the thought of other people wanting to give him attention. “I’m pretty sure I mentioned it at some point… I think someone asked about it-“ He cut himself off, looking at you again. “Okay, maybe you’re right.”
You laughed, draping your legs over his as you gave him a quick kiss on the lips, which he returned. “Maybe I should visit your class, see what all the fuss is about,” you winked at him.
He smiled, running his fingers through your hair. “I don’t know if I’d be able to concentrate with you there.” He leaned in to kiss your forehead. “But, I admit, it would be nice.”
The conversation eventually fizzled out, as you and Spencer naturally fell into your usual evening routine; mostly just sitting on the couch in each other’s arms, talking, watching TV, and eating dinner.
You had an idea in your head the whole time, keeping it to yourself. You had a surprise planned out now.
…
The next day, after Spencer left for his class, you quickly got dressed to head out, throwing on a sweater and modest skirt with some flats. Nothing too fancy, you wanted to fit in with the other students.
You remembered him telling you the building his class was in, and you were able to slip in like you were supposed to be there. You found the classroom after wandering for a while, quite a few students already sat in the class. Of course; very eager, you thought
You thought about just sitting in the back to blend in with the background, but something possessed you to sit in the middle near the other girls in the class. Not really jealousy; you knew Spencer has never even given anyone else a second glance since you started dating. It was more like… pride. Perhaps a smug feeling. You may be infatuated, but that’s my husband.
You sat down near a group of girls, and they eyed you for a moment. You fidgeted, thinking they were going to start whispering bad things about you. Habit from when you were in school.
Instead, one of the girls leaned over, speaking to you in a friendly tone. “Hey, are you new to this class?”
You probably should have just admitted that you weren’t actually a student, but part of you just wanted to see what would happen. “Yeah, this is my first time here.”
She leaned in to whisper, “Did you hear about the professor? Is that why you’re here?” She was giving you a genuine look, seemingly just curious. Or maybe happy to talk to someone about this.
You feigned innocence. “No, I was just interested in the subject. Is there something special about him?” You reply in the same hushed tone as her.
She looked at the other girls around her, and they all giggled. One of the other girls responded. “He’s super hot. Didn’t you hear the rumors?”
You bit back a smile. It felt strange, having people talk about him like this. “No, I didn’t hear anything. Is that really true?” You tried to seem interested, without being conspicuous.
All the girls nodded. You leaned in a bit to match their enthusiasm.
“I wouldn’t get your hopes up,” one of the girls whispered. “He said he’s very happily married.” She all but rolled her eyes at that.
A little smile appeared on your face, a warm feeling rushing over you. You put your hand under the table, hiding your wedding ring. “Really? Well… maybe I can have better luck with him.” You rested your chin in your other hand, smiling smugly.
She scoffed, obviously not believing you. “Yeah, sure. He wouldn’t even look at any of us.” She shook her head. “If you want to believe it, go ahead. I’ll be waiting to say I told you so.”
You were cut off by the sound of a door opening and closing. Spencer stepped out in front of everyone, putting some papers down on his desk. The girls immediately stopped their conversation, sitting up straighter in their chairs and facing forwards. You covered your mouth to keep yourself from snickering.
Spencer greeted the class, who echoed back his greeting. He started to introduce the material he was going to be talking about today, when his eyes settled on you. His expression softened.
You gave him a little wink and a subtle wave. He looked like he was holding back a smile, looking away from you to concentrate on teaching.
It was really a sight to behold, he had most of the class twirling their hair, wrapped around his finger without him even realizing. Not like you could blame the students; he was always able to make everything seem fun and exciting. It was something you loved about him.
The class seemed to fly by. You were honestly glad you came; you could watch him talk for hours. You’re sure he would if you asked, and you were considering it after seeing this.
When he dismissed the class, the girls started swarming him at his desk. You laughed and rolled your eyes, standing up slowly and hanging back a bit.
You could see him politely answering questions, ignoring the girls sitting on his desk and quickly packing up his things.
You walked closer to his desk, and he looked up and smiled. “Hey!” He called out to you, rushing over to wrap you up in a hug. You could feel the stares on you as you settled into his arms, and he kissed your forehead. “I didn’t know you were coming today!”
You smiled up at him. “I thought I’d surprise you.” You reached up to give him a quick peck on the lips, solidifying the jealous eyes that were glaring daggers at you. You couldn’t help it; you felt a pride building up inside you that you were the one he sought out while he was being crowded like this. “Surprise?”
He laughed, tucking you into his side, his arm around your waist. “Yeah, surprise.” He turned to everyone who was still lingering around you, their faces a mix of confusion and jealousy. “Everyone, this is my wife.”
You gave a small wave, everyone greeting you halfheartedly. You locked eyes with the girl who initially approached you earlier. She seemed more embarrassed than angry.
Spencer gave you one last little hug. “I have a few things to finish up, I’ll meet you home later, okay?”
You nodded, giving him one last little parting kiss before he slung his bag over his shoulder and started to walk out of the classroom door.
Everyone was looking at you again, and you felt a little embarrassed now that Spencer wasn’t there with you. You started to excuse yourself quietly, trying to get out the door quickly without bringing more attention to yourself.
You heard someone catch the door after it almost closed behind you. “Hey,” they called out as they caught up to you.
You turned to see the same girl again, and you had to suppress your instinct to run away. Instead, you just nodded at her, giving her your attention since that was obviously what she was asking for.
“I, uh…” she started, her tone nervous. “What I said earlier, I wasn’t trying to say anything bad about you, I was just…”
You gave a soft chuckle in response, shaking your head. “It’s alright. I get it.” You gave a little wave of dismissal. “I might’ve done the same if I was in your position.”
That seemed to ease her worries a bit. “Thanks for being cool about this.” She hugged the books she was carrying closer to her chest. She spoke a little softer. “Dr. Reid spoke very highly of you, you know. When we asked about his wedding ring.” She flinched a bit. “Which I guess was kind of a weird thing to ask…”
You smiled, shaking your head a bit. He had people asking about his wedding ring, and he didn’t even have a second thought about it. “It’s alright. He didn’t even think anything of it. He thought you were just really interested in the course material.”
She furrowed her brows. “Really?” She still looked confused when you nodded. “Huh. Well, I guess he really loves you if he doesn’t even notice people flirting with him.”
You shrugged. “No, he’s just a little clueless when it comes to this kind of thing. I had to really spell it out for him that I was interested in him when I asked him out on our first date.” You smiled warmly at the memory, reliving those early days of your relationship, so long ago now.
She let out a soft laugh. “That’s kinda funny, actually.” She stopped walking, looking like she had to start walking a different way. “So… no hard feelings?”
You turned towards her and shook your head. “No, not at all. Maybe try not to come onto him in the future, though.” You smiled slightly, your tone light and casual.
“Of course,” she laughed awkwardly. “Um. I have to go to class now, so…”
You nodded at her. “Go ahead. Hope you have a good day.”
She smiled. “You’re really cool. I see why he likes you. Most people would’ve been really angry if they were in this situation.”
“Well, I’m not insecure about our relationship.” You felt your phone buzz, and you took it out of your pocket to see a text from Spencer, making you smile. “And I don’t fault anyone for being attracted to him.”
“Cool,” she said, starting to step back a little more. “Um. It was nice meeting you.”
You gave her a little wave. “You too. Hope you enjoy the class; Spencer is really happy to be able to teach people, so I hope everyone is actually listening to him and not just staring at him.”
She laughed lightly, her demeanor a little warmer now. “I’ll try to get the message out.” She waved and said goodbye before turning around and walking away.
You finally looked at the text Spencer sent you:
Hey, do you think you could pick up some dessert on your way home? I’m really craving something sweet. Maybe we could make brownies?
You smiled to yourself. Seeing all those people throwing themselves at Spencer really made you appreciate what you had with him. He had people gawking over him, but you were the one who got to go home with him and make dessert, and have all these sweet moments with him. You’d never get over just how lucky you were to be the one he chose to spend his life with.
airport reunion˚ʚ♡ɞ˚
(dino x reader) - fluff
dino strolls through the arrival gate, duffel bag slung over his shoulder, hoodie pulled up over his head. he looks calm, casual, like he just had a normal flight and isn’t coming home after weeks on tour.
his phone buzzes. probably the group chat. maybe you. he doesn’t check, just yawns and rolls his shoulders like he isn’t bothered. like he isn’t secretly exhausted, like he hasn’t been thinking about crashing into his own bed for the past five hours.
then he looks up.
and he sees you.
his whole body stops mid-step.
his brain stalls.
his bag nearly slips off his shoulder.
because you’re here. standing at the gate, eyes bright, bouncing a little on your feet like you can’t wait a second longer.
his heart stutters so hard it almost hurts.
"no way," he mumbles, blinking rapidly like you’re some kind of mirage.
but you don’t disappear. you smile, hands tucked into your sleeves, and he can’t think anymore. his feet move on their own.
he speeds up, walking faster, then running, then—
"oh my god."
he practically crashes into you, arms winding around your waist as he buries his face in your shoulder.
you laugh, hands coming up to hold him. "hi, dino."
he doesn’t answer. can’t. his breath is caught somewhere in his throat, something warm and too much swelling in his chest.
you’re here. you’re real. you’re actually here.
"you—" he pulls back, just enough to look at you, eyes impossibly wide. his lower lip juts out slightly, his brows furrowed, and he stares at you like a confused puppy. "you—you came?"
you blink. "of course i did."
he makes a tiny sound. like a hiccup. like something breaking and melting at the same time.
then he drops his head onto your shoulder again, holding onto you like a baby koala. "you actually came," he mumbles, voice all soft and breathy.
"yeah." you squeeze his waist. "did you think i wouldn’t?"
he shakes his head, but he doesn’t lift it. "i dunno. i just—" his fingers curl into your sweater. "i didn’t expect—"
his words trail off, and he just clings to you, swaying slightly like he needs to feel you, like he’s making sure you’re really in his arms.
and you let him.
for a long moment, it’s just you and him, pressed together in the middle of the busy airport, neither of you caring about the people moving around you.
and then—
"you were literally just ignoring me a second ago."
dino barely lifts his head to glare at seungkwan, who’s standing with his arms crossed, looking thoroughly unimpressed. "what happened to ‘ugh, i’m so tired, i just wanna go home and sleep’?"
"yeah," hoshi chimes in, raising an eyebrow. "where did that energy go?"
jeonghan snickers. "poof. gone."
"i was tired," dino argues, face still smushed against your shoulder, arms still locked around you. "but now she's here, so."
wonwoo sighs, adjusting his glasses. "so now you’re suddenly wide awake and acting like a baby koala?"
"yes."
"unbelievable," joshua mutters.
mingyu shakes his head. "he ignored all of us when we landed, but now look at him."
"yeah, yeah," dino mumbles, barely paying attention anymore. his grip tightens around you, and he sighs, deep and happy. "guess i’m not that tired anymore."
you smile, running your fingers through his hair. "yeah?"
he nods, eyes still closed, voice muffled against your shoulder. "mm. think i’ll just sleep on you instead."
you laugh. "you’re impossible."
"mm. but you love me."
his words are barely a whisper, but they sink straight into your heart.
jeonghan fake gags. "gross."
"absolutely," woozi adds.
"we’re never gonna hear the end of this," seungcheol sighs, shaking his head.
"don’t care," dino mutters, squeezing you tighter. "i'm winning."
his arms tighten around you, and even though he just spent weeks performing for thousands of people, you’re the only person in the world who matters.
Clueless: Plus One
Changbin x fem!reader
Warnings: suggestive content MDNI
Genre: work besties to lovers, fluff
Summary: You and Changbin work in the same office and are work besties. He's so in love with you, but he's totally afraid to cross that line. And then you ask him to be your plus one for a wedding.
Clueless Masterlist
It was a normal Monday morning at the office. Changbin was staring at his computer screen, trying to focus on his work while his eyes kept drifting towards you. Because today you were wearing that pretty white dress that looked so good on you.
And you were flitting over to him like a fairy, that little bounce in your step making his heart flutter. Your head cocked to the side as you gave him a sweet, innocent smile you always wore when you needed to unload.
You leaned over his desk, placing your arms on it letting the drama unfold.
"Bin, I need to vent," you whined. "You won’t believe the crap I’m dealing with right now."
Changbin felt his breath catch, because even though you both have been friends for years, and he was literally your emotional support human - damn, did he love being needed by you.
"Come on, let it all out," he said, pulling a chair for you to sit on.
---
Chan: Guys, we need to have an intervention for Bin.
Felix: We do?
Hyunjin: Dude, just tell her already. She’s like, right there.
Jeongin: You're literally her work husband. She'd be happy to hear it.
Minho: He’s hopeless.
Jisung: Okay, what’s the plan? We can’t have him turning into a simp for the rest of his life.
Changbin: I want to tell her, but she’s too... innocent. I don’t want to scare her away.
Felix: Oh my god. Bin, she wants you to make a move.
Chan: No, no, we need something strategic. You don't have to scare her.
Seungmin: Just ask her out to lunch. Keep it simple.
Minho: Get her one of those giant stuffed bears.
Felix: Actually, I think Minho hyung's right. Bin, buy her a stuffed animal, write her a sweet card, and then tell her how much you care.
Changbin: What if she doesn't feel that way?
Jisung: Bro. She’s into you. She's with you all the damn time.
Chan: She already knows, Changbin. She’s just waiting for you to take the first step. Stop overthinking it.
Changbin: You think she knows?!
Felix: YES, YES, YES, SHE KNOWS.
---
Meanwhile, you were completely lost in your own world, flapping your arms and pouting over the office drama you were dealing with. And once you finished your tirade, you let out a dramatic sigh and Changbin’s eyes softened. His hand reached out, patting yours gently.
You blinked up at him, noticing the way he was staring at you.
"What?" you asked, half-laughing, thinking you’d said something funny.
"Nothing," Changbin said quickly, snapping back to reality, his cheeks going pink.
Changbin had rehearsed in front of the mirror. Made Hyunjin even pretended to be you for him to practice. And he'd just built up the courage to tell you. But the moment your eyes met across the room, you were zooming towards him like an excited puppy.
"Changbin!" You bounced in excitement, grabbing his wrist, your fingers warm against his skin. "I have something to ask you! I need a plus one for my friend's wedding next weekend, and obviously, you're the only person I’d want to go with."
Changbin’s brain? Completely fried. His heart? Beating at an inhuman rate. His ability to form words? Gone.
"A w-w-wedding?" he stammered, eyes wide.
You laughed at his reaction, completely oblivious to the internal crisis you had just triggered.
"Yeah! It’ll be fun! Free food, an open bar, and we can totally judge people together. Please say yes? Please please please!!!"
Changbin could barely function as he nodded quickly like a bobble head doll.
"Y-yeah. Of course. Uh. Totally. Wedding. Yeah."
You beamed at him, squeezing his hand before skipping off to your desk, leaving him standing there like a short-circuited robot. The second you were out of sight, he lunged for his phone.
---
Changbin: GUYS. HELP. EMERGENCY. RED ALERT.
Hyunjin: LMAOOOO WTF NOW
Minho: Did she lean over your desk again?
Jeongin: Did she?
Felix: What happened, Binnie? Breathe, mate.
Changbin: SHE INVITED ME TO A WEDDING. AS. HER. PLUS. ONE.
Jisung: OH MY GOD
Hyunjin: THIS IS PERFECT!
Chan: Okay, calm down. Breathe. What exactly did she say?
Changbin: “Obviously, you're the only person I’d want to go with.” WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN???!
Seungmin: It means she wants to go with you, you dumbass.
Changbin: NO BUT LIKE. AS A FRIEND? OR IS THIS A THING?!?
Minho: It’s a date, you idiot.
Hyunjin: It’s giving ROMANTIC TENSION. It’s giving she wants you to rail her after the wedding.
Felix: HYUNJIN.
Jeongin: Oh my god.
Jisung: Binnie, listen. This is IT. This is your chance. Weddings are basically breeding grounds for romance. It’s scientifically proven.
Changbin: I CANNOT PROCESS THIS RIGHT NOW. HOW DO I ACT NORMAL?? HOW DO I NOT EMBARRASS MYSELF??
Chan: First of all, stop freaking out.
Seungmin: Second of all, do NOT overthink it. Just go, look hot, and vibe.
Minho: Third of all, make a move at the wedding. The atmosphere will be perfect.
Hyunjin: Bro, imagine slow dancing with her, looking into her eyes, and then whispering something smooth in her ear…
---
Changbin was literally hyperventilating, and the phone shook on his jittery hands.
---
Changbin: STOP I’M SWEATING
Felix: Okay, okay, let’s be practical. What are you gonna wear?
Changbin: WHAT DOES IT MATTER WHAT I WEAR I’M TOO BUSY DYING
Minho: No, Felix is right. You need to dress to seduce.
Jisung: I vote black suit. Tight. Tailored.
Hyunjin: Ohhh, and like, leave a few buttons undone. Chest slightly out.
Jeongin: Yup. Maximum thirst trap.
Chan: Okay but seriously, just be yourself. She already likes you.
Changbin: HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT???
Minho: SHE INVITED YOU AS HER DATE, CHANGBIN.
Seungmin: I have never seen someone so painfully unaware of being wanted.
Jisung: Can we get a camera crew to film this wedding? I need to witness everything in real time.
Hyunjin: Maybe Binnie will finally grow a pair and confess.
Changbin: I AM GOING TO SCREAM.
---
Changbin dropped his phone on his desk and exhaled sharply, running his hands down his face. This was happening. This was real.
Changbin wasn’t sure how he got here. One moment, he was reeling from your wedding invitation. The next, he was being dragged - literally dragged - through a high-end boutique as you picked out suits for him to try on.
You were in your element, flipping through jackets, touching fabrics, and occasionally holding up pieces against his chest with a concentrated pout. Changbin, on the other hand, was struggling to stay alive.
The worst part? You were so hands-on. Adjusting his collar. Running your fingers over his cuffs. Tugging at his jacket to make sure it fit properly. Each time you touched him, his brain went on a vacation. He was convinced he was going to drop dead in this fitting room.
---
Changbin: I AM NOT OKAY.
Hyunjin: How's it going?
Jisung: WHAT HAPPENED. DETAILS. NOW.
Changbin: SHE’S TOUCHING ME.
Felix: Oh my god.
Seungmin: LMAO
Jeongin: Kinda vague, bro. Need more context.
Changbin: SHE’S FIXING MY COLLAR. SHE’S ROLLING UP MY SLEEVES. SHE’S ADJUSTING THE DAMN CUFFS.
Chan: You’re so dramatic.
Minho: No, no, let him suffer. This is hilarious.
Changbin: SHE JUST RAN HER HANDS DOWN MY ARMS AND WENT “HMM, THIS FITS NICE.” I AM NOT GOING TO MAKE IT TO THE WEDDING.
Hyunjin: SHE KNOWS. SHE ABSOLUTELY KNOWS.
Jisung: Confirmed. She’s torturing you on purpose.
Jisung: If you wanna follow Lix's path...it's the fitting room after all...
Felix: THERE IS NO PATH TO FOLLOW YOU MANIAC
Hyunjin: I agree with Ji 🤣
Chan: DON'T FLASH HER. I REPEAT, DON'T FLASH THE GIRL.
Seungmin: You could subtly drop a hint.
Changbin: WHAT IF SHE’S JUST BEING NICE?!?!
Minho: Bro.
Felix: BROOOOOOO.
Jeongin: THERE IS NO WAY. NO ONE IS THIS PHYSICALLY AFFECTIONATE BY ACCIDENT.
Hyunjin: SHE IS FLIRTING, YOU IDIOT. FLIRT BACK.
Jisung: BINNIE. LISTEN TO ME. IF A GIRL IS TOUCHING YOUR ARMS, ADJUSTING YOUR CLOTHES, AND LOOKING YOU UP AND DOWN WITH “HMM, THIS LOOKS GOOD” ENERGY, SHE WANTS YOU TO RAIL HER INTO THE FLOORBOARDS.
Changbin: I AM IN PUBLIC, YOU UNHINGED LUNATIC.
Felix: Can confirm. She’s flirting.
Changbin: But what if
Chan: STOP OVERTHINKING. SHE WANTS YOU.
---
Meanwhile, you were blissfully unaware of Changbin’s complete and utter breakdown. You turned, examining him in the mirror with a critical eye, tapping your chin.
"I don’t know, Binnie," you mused, stepping closer, your fingers slipping under the lapels of his jacket. "This one’s good, but I feel like we can do better."
“Yeah? Okay,” Changbin gulped, his entire body locking up.
You nodded and said, "Hmm. Maybe something darker? More fitted?"
You tugged at his lapels absentmindedly, smoothing them out before looking up at him.
"What do you think?"
"I-I...uh. Yeah. Sure." Changbin thought he might pass out.
You smiled, patting his chest. "Okay! Next one!"
As you spun away to grab another suit, Changbin slumped against the wall of the fitting room and sighed dramatically, wiping the sweat off his forehead.
---
Changbin: SHE. TOUCHED. MY. CHEST.
Hyunjin: OHH PSYCHOLOGICAL MOVE.
Jisung: IT JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER.
Minho: Bro is living a dream and still doesn’t get it.
Seungmin: If you don’t make a move at this wedding, I’m exiling you from this group forever.
Jeongin: Omg
Felix: Bin, mate, she’s literally dressing you up. This is it. This is your chance.
Chan: Just enjoy it. And for the love of god, STOP PANICKING.
---
Changbin inhaled sharply, watching as you approached with yet another suit. This one was black. Sleek. You held it up to him, smiling in satisfaction.
"This one," you said decisively. "I just know it."
Changbin groaned internally. He was so screwed.
Okay, so you were right. Changbin was dying. The suit was fitted, hugging his muscles in a way that felt borderline scandalous. The black fabric contrasted against his skin, and with the first few buttons of his shirt undone, he looked -
"Oh, my God." Changbin gulped.
"You okay in there?" you called.
No, I am NOT okay, I am experiencing a crisis because I want you to pin me against this fitting room wall, he wanted to say. But he wasn't Hyunjin. Or Minho for that matter.
"I’m fine!" he blurted, voice cracking. "Totally fine!"
"Lemme see, Binnie." He heard you giggle.
He stepped out slowly, and the second your eyes landed on him, your entire expression changed. Your mouth parted slightly. You blinked. And then you whistled.
"Wow, Changbin," you breathed, eyes raking over him. "This is the one."
He swallowed hard, shifting under your gaze. "Y-you think so?"
You nodded, stepping closer, your hands reaching for his cuffs - because of course you had to touch him again.
“Yeah," you murmured, adjusting them carefully. "This looks perfect on you."
Changbin thought he was going to pass out.
---
Changbin: *Sends a picture of himself in the said suit*
Hyunjin: HOT HOT HOT
Jisung: YOU LOOK HOT! SHE’S DROOLING, ISN’T SHE?
Minho: She’s probably imagining tearing that suit off you.
Seungmin: Or making you wear it to bed.
Changbin: I AM IN HELL.
Felix: You’re in a dressing room.
Changbin: SAME THING.
Jeongin: CHILL
---
Changbin had never had this much fun at a wedding in his entire life. The night had been perfect.
You clung to his arm dramatically when you saw an ex from college, whispering ridiculous insults into his ear. You had both rated every outfit in the visinity, and you had even whisked an extra dessert plate for Changbin when you saw the way he eyed the chocolate mousse.
And you dragged him onto the dance floor, laughing breathlessly as he spun you around like you were the only two people in the world.
God, he was so in love with you.
---
Jisung: STATUS UPDATE, NOW.
Hyunjin: Are you two making out yet??
Minho: Or have you found a dark corner to “talk” in?
Changbin: I AM TRYING TO SURVIVE THIS NIGHT, LEAVE ME ALONE.
Jeongin: So no dark corner? Disappointing.
Felix: Are you at least having fun?
Changbin: The best time.
Chan: Then why haven’t you CONFESSED YET???
Seungmin: Yeah, what’s your excuse?
Changbin: I’M WAITING FOR THE RIGHT MOMENT.
Jisung: YOU’VE BEEN WAITING FOR FIVE YEARS, BINNIE.
Hyunjin: DO IT. BEFORE WE SHOW UP OURSELVES.
---
By the time the wedding was over, Changbin felt warm - not just from the champagne, but because of you. You grinned up at him, swaying slightly as you both made your way back to the car. Every time your fingers brushed his, it sent sparks up his arm. And right to his heart.
This moment felt perfect.
“This was so much fun, Binnie,” you hummed, glancing at him. “Did you have a good time too?”
“Yeah,” he said. “I always have fun with you.”
You beamed at him, and he smiled, his heart doing some drastic flips. He loved you so damn much. And he needed to tell you that.
“Y/N…” He swallowed hard, and his hands clenched. “I…I need to tell you something.”
“What’s up?” You stopped walking, turning to face him fully.
He exhaled shakily. Okay. Okay. You got this, Bin.
“I…I really like you,” he blurted, his ears turning pink. “Like, really like you. And I’ve liked you for so long, but I didn’t know how to tell you. And I didn’t wanna ruin what we have, but -”
Changbin froze, and his words died on his lips. Because you were crying. Panic slammed into him, and he was on autopilot in a second.
“Oh, shit! Wait - are you okay? Did I -”
And then, before he could fully die, you hugged him. You wrapped your arms around him so tightly, pressing your face into his chest, and whispered, “I was so afraid to say anything.”
His breath hitched. What?
“This is the happiest day of my life,” you murmured. “Because I love you too, Binnie.”
Changbin’s soul left his body. He squeezed you back instantly, his heart nearly exploding.
“You do?”
You nodded against him, sniffling slightly. And all he could do was hold you, completely overwhelmed with relief, with joy, with love.
---
Changbin: Sooo…Chan hyung, I may have found a plus one for your wedding
Chan: Ok…?
Chan: Changbin, is everything ok?
Felix: Please. Don't tell me you put it off till Chan hyung's wedding.
Minho: You two are gonna be doing this till all of us get married at this point.
Seungmin: Let the man speak
Changbin: Thank you, but I'll be attending Chan hyung's wedding with my girlfriend 😎
Jisung: OH MY GODDDDDDDDD.
Hyunjin: THANK YOU. FINALLY.
Minho: Oh wow. Ok.
Felix: YESSSS BINNIEEEEE!!
Seungmin: Took you long enough, dumbass.
Jeongin: I’M SO HAPPY I CAN’T EVEN INSULT YOU RIGHT NOW.
Chan: Well, congratulations Bin!
Jisung: NOW KISS. KISS HER RIGHT NOW.
Hyunjin: Yes yes go
---
Changbin laughed breathlessly, shaking his head as he tucked his phone away. And got into the driver's seat.
He turned to look at you as you were pulling on your seat belt. You glanced at him, your eyes shining, your smile soft.
And with his heart bursting, he did exactly what Jisung demanded.
He kissed you.
Ghosted by You. | N.R
Spy!Natasha x Innocent!Reader
Warnings: Kidnapping, stab wound
Word count: 3,7k
A/N: It’s based on this ask here! I tried to create the dynamics exactly like in the movie, but somehow also needed seriousness..🥸
You should’ve stayed home. You really should’ve stayed home..But no. Your brain, in its infinite wisdom, decided that after one amazing date, Natasha disappearing from your life had to mean something dramatic. That she was in trouble. That she needed you.
That she hadn’t just ghosted you because..oh, I don’t know, maybe she didn’t want to see you again. But did that logic stop you? No. Because instead of letting it go like a normal person, you tracked a random transaction on her credit card, hopped on a plane, and landed in London. And now? Now, you were tied to a goddamn chair in a dimly lit basement, with very angry men staring you down.
One of them paced in front of you, arms crossed. His accent was thick, British but rough, the kind that made you instinctively gulp. “Who sent you?”
You blinked. “What?”
“Who. Sent. You?” He leaned in, his breath hot against your face. “We know you work for the CIA.”
Your heart nearly stopped. “THE WHAT?!”
The second man sighed dramatically, rolling his eyes like you were personally wasting his time. “This one’s gonna be difficult.”
Your brain short-circuited. “Wait, wait- hold on a second, you think I’m in the CIA?!” You let out a weak, breathless laugh. “Oh my God. Wait, I think I’m gonna throw up..”
“Cut the act.” The first man grabbed the chair, tilting it back so that you were nearly falling. “We know you were following Romanoff. What were you planning?”
Your what now? “Natasha? Natasha Romanoff?” You nearly choked on your own breath. “She’s, she’s a spy?!” The two men exchanged glances before the first one grumbled, “Great. The kid doesn’t even know.”
“Wait, hold on.” Your breathing was turning erratic, panic rising in your throat. “She told me she was a florist..?” The second man pinched the bridge of his nose. “Jesus Christ.” You were spiraling. Your hands shook against the restraints, your brain struggling to process what the hell was happening.
“No! Wait, you don’t understand..” you stammered, words tumbling out too fast. “I literally just followed her because she ghosted me! I thought she wasn’t answering because she was in trouble! I-I thought I was being romantic!”
The first man just stared at you. “You followed a CIA agent across the world because she didn’t text you back?”
“…Yes?” For a second, neither man spoke. Then the first one turned to the other and said, “We should just kill her.”
“W-WHAT?! NO! No, that’s not necessary!” You wriggled against the ropes, full-on panicking. “I’m not a spy! I barely passed high school! I cried last week because my WiFi went out! Does that s-sound like someone who works for the CIA?!”
The second man pulled out a knife, twirling it between his fingers. “Too bad.” You squeezed your eyes shut. God, I’m gonna die. I’m actually gonna die because I followed a hot woman to London like a freaking idiot..
The door exploded inward. The first guy turned just in time for a bullet to tear straight through his shoulder. He collapsed with a scream. The second one lunged for his gun, but before he could even blink, Natasha stepped into the room, raised her pistol, and shot him twice in the chest.
Your brain short-circuited. Natasha didn’t hesitate. Didn’t flinch. Didn’t even blink as she put a bullet between someone’s ribs. “Oh my God..” you whispered, eyes darting between the two men, one dead, one groaning in pain. “Oh my God, you!! You just killed-”
“Not now!” She stormed forward, cutting through your restraints with a huge-ass knife. “Are you hurt ?”
“YOU JUST SHOT TWO PEOPL-”She grabbed your wrist, yanking you to your feet. “I swear to God, Y/n, I will have this conversation later. Right now? Move.” She shoved you toward the door, and your legs felt like Jell-O. “I-I don’t think I can walk..” you stammered.
“Then crawl, I don’t care!” Gunfire erupted outside. Natasha grabbed your wrist and dragged you behind her as she stormed into the hallway, firing with precision. One man barely turned the corner before she put a bullet straight between his eyes. You screamed again. “Y/n, I will leave you here if you don’t MOVE!” she barked.
“What-” you whispered, watching people DROP like flies. “Don't look at them.” she snapped, grabbing your face and physically turning it away. “What the hell is happening?” Your breathing was getting worse, your chest tightening. “I—Natasha, I don’t- I don’t understand-”
She groaned. “Oh, for fu-”Before you could process, she picked you up. “N-Natasha!”
“Shut up!” She kicked a door open, carrying you like a sack of potatoes. “I can shoot faster when you’re not slowing me down!”
“I CAN RUN!”
“Clearly NOT!”
Gunfire shattered the walls behind you. Natasha spun, firing two bullets into the men chasing you. They collapsed instantly. Your breath hitched. “You’re killing them..” you whispered. Natasha didn’t hesitate. “And I’ll kill ten more if it gets us out of here alive!” Her coldness made your stomach drop.
You saw it now. The emptiness in her eyes, the precision, the way she fired without flinching. The woman you had been falling for, the one who had smiled at you over dinner, who had kissed you so softly..was a killer.
She caught your expression, saw the fear on your face and for a moment, her own softened. But there wasn’t time. She threw you into a stolen car, slammed the door, and sped into the streets. For a long time, you couldn’t speak.
“You’re scared of me now.” she said flatly, breaking the silence. Your mouth opened—closed. “You should be.” she muttered. Her hands were still covered in blood. You pressed yourself against the door, heartbeat pounding.
This wasn’t the Natasha you knew. This was someone else entirely. And you had no idea what you had just gotten yourself into. The car ride was dead silent. You sat rigidly in the passenger seat, hands curled into fists on your lap, still shaking.
Natasha gripped the steering wheel like she wanted to break it in half. Her knuckles were white, her jaw clenched, and her entire body radiated fury. But you didn’t say anything. Because you were terrified. Your brain replayed it all on an endless loop, the gunfire, the bodies dropping, the blood on her hands.
You had thought she was a florist. You had kissed her, flirted with her, trusted her, And she had just killed six people without flinching. Your stomach churned. “Say something.” Natasha finally snapped, eyes still locked on the road. You swallowed, voice weak. “Where are we going?”
“A safe house.” A safe house. Right. Because that’s a normal thing to have. You nodded slowly, gripping the door handle like you might have to jump out of the moving car. Natasha let out a harsh breath, running a hand through her hair. “You’re still scared of me.” You flinched. Her grip on the wheel tightened. “I just saved your life, Y/n.”
“You also ended six others.” you whispered. The air in the car shifted. Her eyes flicked to you, calculating, cold. “That’s how this works.” You swallowed hard. “This?”
She exhaled sharply, looking back at the road. “You’re in my world now. You don’t get to judge me for doing what I have to do.”
“I didn’t ask to be in your world!” She let out a bitter laugh. “Oh, really? Because flying across the world to follow me sure as hell says otherwise.”
Your face flushed with anger. “I followed you because I thought you were in danger! Not because I wanted to be thrown into some goddamn murder spree!” Her grip on the wheel tightened.
“You think I wanted this?” Her voice was eerily calm. You hesitated. “I don’t- I don’t know what to think, Natasha.” She went silent.
The weight of the situation pressed down on you. The reality that you had just witnessed multiple murders. That you had watched Natasha—the woman you had been falling for, kill like it was nothing. Your chest tightened. Natasha let out a long, exhausted sigh and muttered, “We’ll talk when we get there.”
She parked in a dark alleyway, leading you through a maze of backstreets until you reached an abandoned-looking building. The second she closed the door behind you, she turned, eyes blazing. “What the hell were you even thinking?!”
You jumped. “Excuse me?!”
“You followed me across an ocean. You got kidnapped. You almost died!”
“I DIDN’T KNOW YOU WERE A SPY!”
“THAT DOESN’T MAKE IT BETTER!”
She stalked forward, and for the first time, you actually backed away. Her face immediately fell. You weren’t just arguing.
You were afraid of her. Natasha inhaled sharply, running a hand through her hair. “Y/N…”
You pressed your back against the wall, shaking your head. “I don’t..” You swallowed hard, voice trembling. “I don’t know who you are.” Pain flickered across her face, but it was gone just as fast. She turned away from you, exhaling through her nose. “You shouldn’t have come.” she muttered.
“You could have just told me the truth!” She spun back, eyes flashing. “Are you out of your mind?! If I had told you- if you had known- you would’ve been in even more danger!”
Your stomach twisted. “Oh yeah? And what now?” You threw up your hands. “I know now, Natasha! I was just kidnapped and almost killed!” She winced. Just for a second.
Then, she stepped closer, voice dangerously low. “You want to know the truth?” she murmured. You swallowed. “No-”
“You would’ve been fine.” Her voice was cold, calculated. “If you had just stayed home. If you had just let me go. But now?” Her jaw clenched. “Now, you’re a target.”
Your stomach dropped. “Wait, what?” She sighed, rolling her shoulders. “They think you’re CIA. They think you know something. You don’t, but that doesn’t matter anymore.”
Your heartbeat thundered. “So- so what? What happens now?” She gave you a pointed look. “Now? I clean up your mess.” She grabbed a first aid kit and tossed it onto the table.
“Sit.”
“I’m fine-”
“Sit down.”
You gulped and sat. She grabbed your arm, not gentle but not rough and started cleaning the scrapes from where they had tied you up. The silence between you burned. You stared at her. At the red stains on her shirt. The blood on her hands. The way her shoulders were still tense from the fight.
She was different now. The Natasha who had laughed at your stupid jokes? The one who had kissed you in the rain? That Natasha was gone. Or maybe…maybe she was never real. She caught you staring. “What?” she muttered.
You hesitated. “Were you ever going to tell me?” Her hands froze. Then, she dropped the antiseptic, stood up, and turned away.
“…It was never supposed to go this far.” she admitted. Something inside you ached. Because deep down, you knew, this meant goodbye.
She exhaled sharply. “I’ll get you back to the States. I’ll make sure they lose your trail.” Your heart clenched. “You’re just sending me away?”
“Yes.”
“But I-” Your voice cracked. “What about you?” She looked away. “I’ll handle it.” Tears burned your eyes. “Natasha-”
“This isn’t your life, Y/n.” she said firmly. “It can’t be.” Your chest ached. You had risked everything to find her. And now, she was pushing you away. But deep down, you knew she was right. You weren’t built for this. For her. And it broke you. Natasha sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. “I’ll get you home tomorrow. Get some rest.”
Well..You and Natasha had been on the run for three days. Three days of gunfire, stolen cars, dodging assassins, and sleeping in dingy safe houses with barely enough time to breathe. Somewhere between nearly dying for the second time, sneaking across borders, and sharing a stolen coat for warmth, something between you shifted.
You weren’t just running anymore. You were running together. Natasha was still infuriating. She still rolled her eyes at your bad decisions, still called you reckless, still snapped at you for asking stupid questions. But now? Now she also held your hand when you got too cold. She taught you how to fire a gun, not that you were good at it, but she didn’t make fun of you when you missed.
She touched you more. Small, quick touches, her hand on your back, her fingers brushing yours. And most of all? She looked at you differently. Like she actually cared. Like sending you away wasn’t an option anymore. “We’re almost there.” Natasha muttered, pressing her hand to her earpiece. You both crouched behind a pile of rubble in an abandoned city square, panting from the last disaster of a shootout.
“Tell me ‘almost’ means we’re five minutes away from hot showers and real food..” you whispered. She gave you a dry look. “Try ten minutes and two more obstacles.”
You groaned. “Of course.”
“Look.” She pointed toward the far end of the square. A black helicopter was parked near an old church, CIA agents waiting by the doors. Your chest lightened. The helicopter was right there. You could hear the roar of the blades, see the CIA agents waiting, their weapons ready. Safety was so close you could taste it.
But of course..It was never that easy. You heard footsteps. Too many. And then, before you could react, an arm wrapped around your neck. Cold steel pressed against your throat. Your breath hitched. Natasha whipped around, gun raised. But it was too late.
The man holding you was grinning. He was tall, strong, covered in tactical gear. His knife dug into your skin just enough to make your pulse spike. More men emerged from the surrounding buildings, mercenaries, armed to the teeth. Your stomach twisted. You had walked right into a trap.
“Drop your weapons!!” the man holding you barked. The CIA agents hesitated. Natasha didn’t move. She stood rigid, her gun aimed directly at the man’s head. Her eyes burned. “If you touch her..” she said, voice dangerously low, “I’ll put a bullet between your eyes before you even think about blinking.”
The man chuckled. “Oh, Agent Romanoff. You care about this one, don’t you?” Her jaw clenched. “Drop. Your. Guns.” he ordered again. The agents exchanged glances. Natasha’s finger hovered over the trigger. You could feel her rage. The barely controlled violence. She was waiting for the right moment.
“Natasha.” you whispered, trying not to move against the blade. “Just go.” Her eyes snapped to you. And the way she looked at you, it was the kind of look that said she would burn the entire world down before leaving you behind.
“Not happening.” she said. Your heart clenched. Chaos Breaks Loose And then, everything happened at once. Natasha moved first. The bullet hit its mark, straight through the mercenary’s shoulder. His grip loosened just for a second. And that was all she needed.
You ripped yourself free, stumbling forward as gunfire exploded around you. The CIA agents opened fire. Natasha was a blur, taking down enemies like they were nothing. You scrambled backward, searching for cover, but the mercenary wasn’t done. He lunged.
And before you could react, the knife sank into your stomach. The second the knife plunged into your stomach, the world snapped into sharp, unbearable agony. You gasped, choking on your own breath, as fire erupted through your entire body. The blade twisted.
A raw, animalistic scream ripped from your throat. You collapsed, your legs giving out, your body feeling like it had been set on fire from the inside. The mercenary smirked. “Oops.” A bullet tore through his skull before he could even take another breath. His body dropped.
Her hands immediately pressed against your stomach, trying to stop the bleeding. Her face was wild with panic, her breaths coming too fast, her usual iron control completely shattered. “No. No, no, no-” You couldn’t breathe. It felt like someone had shoved glass into your stomach, and every breath dragged shards deeper into you.
“Nat..” Your voice broke. “It- It hurts..”
“I know, I know..” she nearly screamed, pressing down harder. The pain spiked. You choked, nearly blacking out right there. “Stay awake, Y/N!” Her voice was frantic, almost desperate. “Do you hear me? Stay awake!”
Your ears rang. You barely registered the CIA agents rushing toward you. “We have to move-” one of them started. Natasha snarled. “Get a Stretcher on that helicopter NOW!”
Your vision blurred at the edges. Your limbs felt too heavy, your fingers tingling as the blood poured out of you. You could hear shouting. Gunfire? More soldiers? More fighting? You didn’t know. All you knew was that you were cold. And so fucking tired.
Natasha’s arms wrapped around you as she hauled you up. “I got you, I got you.” she kept muttering, her voice wavering. You let out a weak whimper as she lifted you. The pain was indescribable. Like your entire insides had been ripped apart, burning, splitting, bleeding. “I know, just hold on, okay?” Her voice cracked badly.
She ran with you, gun still raised, still firing behind her. You felt the cold metal ramp beneath you as Natasha threw herself onto the aircraft, clutching you close. “Get us out of here!” she roared. The helicopter lurched. You barely registered it. All you could feel was pain. Someone was grabbing at you, pressing too hard on the wound.
“S-Stop..” you whimpered, the pressure making you see stars. Natasha snapped. “Be careful!”
“We’re trying to stop the bleeding!” a medic barked back. Natasha was breathing too fast. “She’s losing too much blood-”
“We know!” Your fingers trembled, reaching out. You didn’t even realize what you were doing until Natasha grabbed your hand. Her grip was tight and desperate. You tried to squeeze back, but you were too weak. That was when you saw it. The look in her eyes. The pure, unfiltered fear. Natasha was scared. Not of the bullets. Not of the mercenaries.
But of losing you. “Nat…” You barely got the word out. “Shh, it’s okay..” she whispered, pressing her forehead against yours. “Don’t talk. Just stay with me.” Your breath hitched. Everything was spinning. The medic’s voice faded. Your eyes fluttered shut.
Your body felt heavy. Everything ached. The dull beeping of a heart monitor filled the room. The scent of disinfectant burned your nose. You blinked against the blinding white light, your brain foggy, sluggish. Then, you heard her. “You better wake up soon, because if I did all of that for nothing, I swear to God-”
Her voice shook. Your lips parted. “Nat..?” The chair beside your bed screeched as someone jumped up. Hovering over you, her eyes wide, raw, frantic. “Oh my God.” You barely registered the way her hand grabbed yours, gripping it like she was afraid you’d disappear. You blinked up at her, throat dry. “Where…?”
“You’re in a hospital.” she said, her voice hoarse. You could tell she’d been awake for a long time. Your brows furrowed. “How long?”
Natasha hesitated. “…Three days.” Your breath hitched. “Three..?”
“You almost died, Y/N.” Her jaw clenched. “Do you have any idea how stupid that was?!” Ah. There it was. The anger. The Romanoff rage. You offered a weak smile. “Saved your life, though.” Her eyes flashed. “Don’t.”
“Don’t what?”
“Don’t joke about this!” Her grip on your hand tightened. You swallowed, watching her. Because beneath the anger…She looked wrecked. Dark circles under her eyes. Hair a mess. Still wearing the same clothes from the extraction. “Have you even left this room?” you asked quietly. She exhaled sharply, avoiding your gaze.
You sighed, shifting slightly, then immediately regretted it. White-hot pain tore through your stomach, forcing a shaky breath from your lips. Natasha’s head snapped back toward you. “Hey, hey-” She reached out, pressing a hand against your shoulder to keep you from moving. “Don’t do that. Just..stay still.”
“…Natasha.” you murmured. “It’s not your fault.” Her jaw tightened. “Yes, it is.” Guilt..The Romanoff Way of Suffering She stood up, pacing.
“You were supposed to be safe. You were supposed to be on the helicopter. Not..Not bleeding out in my arms..” You watched her. “You saved me.” you pointed out.
She let out a bitter laugh. “Yeah? And look at you now.” You exhaled, trying to push through the pain. “You would have died.” you said softly. “That guy was gonna kill you, Nat.”
Her eyes snapped to you. And something cracked. “Then maybe I should have let him.” Your stomach dropped. “No.”
She shook her head, running a shaky hand through her hair. “I should have protected you. I should have been faster. I should have-”
“Stop.” She froze. You struggled to sit up, ignoring the way your body screamed in protest. “Natasha, look at me.”
She did. Her expression was so raw, so pained. “You think I regret saving you?” you whispered. She swallowed, lips pressed together. You reached out, grabbing her wrist. “You think I’d rather be lying in a grave than here?” She exhaled sharply. “…You almost were.”
“But I’m not.” you murmured. “Because of you.” She looked away. You squeezed her hand. “Nat.” Nothing.
“Natasha.” Her jaw tensed. Finally, after what felt like forever, she turned back. And the moment she met your gaze, something inside her broke. Because suddenly, her arms were around you. Holding you so tight it should have hurt, but you didn’t care. You felt her shudder.
“Hey..” you murmured, pressing your face against her shoulder. “I’m okay.” She shook her head. “You almost weren’t..”
“But I am.” She let out a shaky breath. Her grip didn’t loosen. You hesitated, then turned your head slightly, whispering against her skin. “I’d do it again.”
She stiffened. Then, she pulled back, her eyes burning. “If you ever do something that reckless again, I will personally kill you myself.”
You grinned. “I swear to God, Y/N-” You grabbed the front of her jacket and kissed her.
taking it slow - spencer reid ᡣ𐭩 •。ꪆৎ ˚⋅
spencer reid x inexperienced!reader (established relationship)
requests are always open <3
❤️🔥smut
a/n: this is the first time i've ever written a smut like full oneshot which i wrote awhile ago so if this sucks im really sorry squad
warnings: 18+, fingering, mentions of sex
In the midst of your lovers absence (surprise! surprise! he has another case across the other side of the country!!!) you decided that you were going to have sex with him. The thought of it initially was shocking to you even. This abrupt decision was spurred on after chatting to your friend who was throughly shocked that Spencer hasn't gone past heavy makeout sessions with you and a little over the clothes groping (is this because he's a man or is this because you guys have been dating to the point where you guys having sex is assumed? you couldn't determine). So you decided you were going to get it over and done with. After all you were a virgin in every sense of the word even if you despise the concept of it. So flash forward a couple of days you lay in bed on your nightly phone call with Spencer.
"So is there anything else you wanna tell me about?" he inquires
"Yes" you declared
"Really now?"
"Yes really Spencer. I've decided that when you get back I'm going to have sex with you."
"Woah there sweetheart. Lets slow down a little okay? So over my 2 week absence you have came to this little revelation of yours?" he says sounding shocked and amused.
"Yes."
"Why? I mean like yeah I kinda understand that people do feel a need to have sex to be closer with one another even if its just us wanting to go through the actions of reproducing without consequences. But are you sure you want to do that its a little sudden don't you think?" he explains gently
"I do want to do it" you say insistently. His constant questioning is making you feel a little annoyed because you do want to do it with him. Why wouldn't you? But it also tugged at the strings in your brain that maybe Spencer wasn't attracted to you in that way and maybe thats why he's never brought it up before.
"We can do it if you really want. But why don't we work are way up to it, huh angel? I just want you to get comfortable before tossing you into the deep end. I don't want you to back out during the middle of it."
"Okay" you murmur. "What time do you land tomorrow?"
"Uhhhh..Should be around 10:30am. Anyways I imagine its getting pretty late for you so you should sleep. I love you y/n, I'll see you tomorrow, sweet dreams my love."
"I love you too Spence goodnight." You say into the phone before hanging up. So now you have a plan. A daunting one, but yet a plan none the less.
The next day transpired pretty normally. Spencer getting home from his case, having a power nap whilst you went about your life leading to a makeout session.
Spencer kissed you like a man starved, tongue tracing your mouth like he was committing it to memory which he most indefinitely was. If one day he showed up with a 3D model of the inside of your mouth you wouldn't be surprised in the slightest. You could feel your body temperature rising and a familiar throb from between your thighs. Spencer's hands rested on your hips rubbing them gently. When he pulled away a confused look crossed your face.
"Is there something wrong?" you stutter earning you a breathless laugh from him.
"No nothings wrong your just really pretty thats all, and I also wanted to ask if your okay with me touching you?" he confesses
"Um..Yeah more than okay..Uh" you breathe
"Don't be nervous baby just lift your hips for me yeah?" he says a bit amused starting to unbutton your jeans. It hits you suddenly. You're actually doing this ur breathing picks up but ur not scared actually ur excited very excited. Spencer practically mashes his mouth to yours as the jeans came off and were thrown somewhere across the room. He uses his thigh to nudge your legs apart.
"Mmmm i think pretty is an understatement when it comes to you angel" he jokes which illicts a shy laugh from you. He uses his thumb brushing over your clit. Your heavy breathing turns into whines and eventually little moans as you feel a warm slippery sensation forming.
"There we go, good girl" he mumbles "Well I think theres no use of these panties anymore they are throughly soaked. Lets get these off you yeah?" he questions before tugging at your panties. Your doing this with Spencer Reid. The Spencer Reid you thought as shy and timid when you first met him and now well he's doing this. You can't help but to look up at him adoringly. Before you know it the rubbing sensation continues only you can feel it a little more this time and now a new feeling of a weird stretch? You sit up a bit where you find Spencer's hand joining the junction of your thighs looking up at you with a sweet grin. From what you have heard from your girlfriends guy's liked to take pleasure from you to give to themselves not giving it to you, and you certainly haven't known someone who described someone looking at them so lovingly the first time they did it together. This reiterates the fact that 'woah Spencer really loves you.' which is confirmed by the building pleasure as another finger slips inside.
"You're doing so well baby, you're being so good." he breathes as his eyes flick from his hand to your face. "You doing okay there?"
"Uh huh very well" you moan
"Yeah I can see that"
After a while of his fingers pumping rhythmically the spring in your stomach snaps and you go weirdly squirmy as you feel a warm feeling trickle through your veins. Best feeling ever. Spencers fingers slip out as he wipes it on his leg and lays next to you softly kissing all over your face.
"You okay?" he questions his fingers tracing your arms gently.
"I love you" you say hoarsely which illicit a soft laugh from him.
"Yeah baby I can tell"
Being best friends with Gojo Satoru since highschool had its perks, and downs… Indeed, you never expected, that on a friday morning, half asleep and putting some order in your files, you would receive this demand :
“I need you to act like my girlfriend,” exclaims Satoru out of nowhere when suddenly entering the empty classroom in a loud bang.
You raise your head, only to meet the blindfolded man closing the door behind him and walking quickly towards you. Unfazed by his morning outburst, long used to his weird antics, you sigh and stretch on your seat.
“Bro, what ? It’s too early for me to indulge in your weird ass roleplays like last time-” you start to answer, watching him drag a chair towards you and sitting on it. He leans towards your figure as he interrupts you.
“No no no, not like last time. Come on, I’m not joking. I really need your help and for you to act like my girlfriend ! Pretty please ?” he almost begs, clapping his hands together and pouting his lips as an imploration.
You look at him deadpan. Gojo Satoru was unpredictable, and him asking you this favor, actually didn’t look weird to you, as it was something almost considered normal in your daily life with him.
“Like, right now ? Is someone coming ? One of your fans ? I swear, I’m not dealing with them again, because their Gojo fanclub almost killed me-” you once more start to rumble, pointing at him as you recall this quite unfortunate moment when you had to mingle with the crazy fans of the great Gojo Satoru. But he quickly cuts you off by grabbing your hands in his, his large palms englobing yours firmly.
“No fans, I promise. It’s tonight, and the elders have literally forced me for months to attend one of their boring fancy ass gatherings with other clans. I know they want to take the opportunity to make me meet some people for possible arranged marriages, and there is no way in hell I'll participate in this without destroying their plan. So please, please, please, my sweet, amazing, beautiful, awesome y/n, pretend to be my girlfriend just for tonight !”
You blink, once, twice, before looking at him for a few seconds in silence. He squeezes your hands in his, as a way to emphasize his words and probably convince you to agree.
“So you want me to act like your girlfriend, to destroy all the hopes for a possible arranged marriage idea they would have at this gathering ? Wow, I feel like we are in ancient times. There is no way they really are trying to force you to marry someone,” you finally answer, chuckling nervously. Playing pretend with Satoru wasn’t a problem for you, you two already were pretty close. Instead, it was everything that would come with it that could be a problem.
Satoru sighs, and lets go of your hands before passing his fingers in his hair, clearly annoyed.
“Yup. They say it’s my duty, as The Strongest, and the head of the Gojo Clan, to soon marry and have heirs. I agree, their mentality is stuck 200 years ago. But look at them, all wrinkles and shit. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were born during the 18th century,” he tries to joke as he shakes his head before crossing his arms over his broad chest. You let out a laugh, before taking a deep breath.
“That sucks, I’m sorry. Of course I don’t mind helping you out, but they already know that we aren’t dating. So suddenly arriving tonight at this gathering, hand in hand, acting all lovey dovey, would be weird. Don’t you think so ?” you ask, raising an eyebrow and he hums at your words, thoughtful.
“I don’t care if they don’t believe it. The only thing that matters is to show that I’m already taken and can’t possibly get married to one of their daughters. That’s all. And hell, if you really wanna convince them, we could make out in front of everyone-” he ends up teasing as he lifts his blindfold to show you his blue eyes and wiggles his eyebrows playfully.
“Yeah, I’m not making out with you !” you interrupt him, rolling your eyes as you stand up from your chair. Satoru’s smile drops and he pouts.
“Awww, come on ! I know you secretly fantasize about that !” He stands up as well, following behind you, tall frame looming over your figure.
“You better stop or I will change my mind and not help you out,” you frown as you say that in a warning. You turn around to face your best friend and even point at him in an accusatory way. He lifts his hands up innocently.
“Ok, ok, geez. Can’t even joke anymore… Kids these days..” he huffs.
“Satoru…” you warn again.
“I mean thank you soooo much ! You really are the best !” he ends up exclaiming as his hands snake around your waist and bring you towards him. He starts to attack you with many kisses all over your cheeks, laughing while you squirm.
“What the hell ?!” you can’t help but laugh as well as he doesnt stop, on purpose doing big, fat, smooches on your plumpy skin.
Well, you were in for a long day. You just hoped that tonight wouldn’t be too chaotic. At least, not too chaotic. Because Gojo Satoru didn’t like sitting still.
જ⁀➴ ⠀ׂ
It was 6 P.M, and you were getting ready in your bedroom. Satoru explained to you how it will go, that he will come get you at your apartment, and both arrive together at the gathering at 7 P.M. You were wearing your dress halfway, as it wasn’t closed in the back. You still were deciding on what makeup to put, and the colors you will apply on your lips and eyes, wondering which one would be the best. As you sigh and look at yourself in the mirror of your vanity, your phone rings indicating a new message. It was Satoru saying he was early and would just come to your place and wait for you to finish getting prepared. You shrug, used to having him at your apartment.
At the same time, you hear keys and then the door of your home getting opened. In the past you did give him spare keys to your place, so you directly knew it was your best friend. You stand up from your vanity chair and walk towards the entrance. Your eyes lighten when you see Satoru wearing a tight black suit, and his hair combed backwards. His sunglasses fall over his nose and his tie is hanging somewhat loose on his collar. Oh, he really looked handsome. He already did everyday, and Satoru knew better than anyone else how charming he could be. But seeing him in this attire really did something to the butterflies in your stomach.
“Wow, look at you !” you exclaim, and Satoru walks quickly towards your figure, flashing a bright smile towards your direction.
“Says you,” his eyes glint while he stares at your body up and down, taking your hand and making you twirl on the tip of your toes.
“You arrive just in time, I need you to help me close my dress,” you say, and Satoru stabilizes you from the twirl as his hands land on your waist. He stands right behind you, and his warm fingers slowly slide on the naked exposed skin of your back for a second. You shiver head to toe, not expecting this touch.
“Satoru ?” you ask again as he still didn’t do what you demanded, raising an eyebrow.
“Ah, yeah. No problem,” he whispers, letting out what seemed like an awkward chuckle before zipping up the back of your dress in one go, as if he lingered too long he would burn himself. You felt the hotness of his breath on your nape, before stepping back.
“Here you go,” he says and you smile as you wink at him and walk towards your bedroom to continue your makeup.
“Thanks ! Now, since you are early, you will be my special stylist. You’ll help me choose my makeup,” you order him as you sit on the chair and he sits two meters away on the edge of your bed.
“I feel honored, here I can see the backstages of how you do your makeup,” he smiles as you roam through your drawers before taking out a palette with many different shades of colours. You turn slightly towards him, wanting his advice.
“What colour should I use for my eyes ?” you ask, and Satoru tilts his head as he passes his hand in his snowy white hair, analyzing what he sees. He hums, tapping his foot, before looking back up at your eyes. He stares at your irises in silence, deeply, and even if you are used to doing staring contests with your best friend for fun, it always felt destabilizing to look into the depth of blue in his eyes. It always felt like drowning, somewhat intimate and vulnerable, as you knew his Six eyes ability allowed him to see things about yourself that you couldn't even know.
“This one, it’ll make your eyes pop. Trust your boyfriend on this,” he says, casually dropping this name appellation for himself. You look at the colour before raising your eyebrows at what he said.
“We still aren’t playing pretend, Satoru. We are alone right now,” you chuckle as you turn back towards your mirror and start to apply the shade on your eyelid.
“And ? Have you never heard of practice ? I gotta get in the skin of my character, duh,” he justifies himself, and you can’t help but roll your eyes.
“Ok grand actor Gojo Satoru. You want an Oscar ?” you tease, now doing the other eye.
“Hey, don’t worry about that. I’ll play my role so well that even you will wonder if I’m really your boyfriend or not,” Satoru muses as you continue with your eye makeup and what you wanted to add as final touches.
“Oh yeah ? Then good luck with that,” you snort, applying the final touches of mascara.
“You don’t believe in my skills of being able to seduce you ?” his tempting voice is suddenly right next to your ear, and you realize that he teleported behind you. He looks at you cockily in the mirror, his hand on your shoulder. You get startled at first, not used to him using this tone of voice with you. For a second you felt your heart beating faster.
“Let me do my makeup in peace instead of annoying me before we even started your evil plan of acting like a couple,” you ignore his flirty joke, trying to focus back on what you were doing.
“Evil plan ? So does that make us partners in crime ?” he asks cheekily, the hand that was still on your shoulder squeezes the flesh.
“Who is Bonnie and who is Clyde ?” you laugh asking that, lifting your face to look at his blue eyes.
“Can I be Clyde ?” he demands like a kid, and you can’t help but snicker before grabbing two lip products, your favorites actually.
“Ok Clyde. Then tell me, what lipstick should I use ?” you end up questioning as you hold them in front of his face. He narrows his eyes, grabbing them, eyes darting in between your mouth and the makeup products. You don’t even realize that you end up licking your upper lip, focused on waiting for his verdict. He squints his eyes at what you just did.
“Hmmm… this one,” he ends up pointing at. You nod and open it before starting to apply it in front of the mirror.
“Why ?” you ask curiously, smudging your lips together to put the product evenly.
“Because it makes your lips look kissable ?” he answers as if it was the most logical answer, gazing at your reflection. You almost choke on your saliva before nudging him, which makes his smirk widder. This stupid bitch, he enjoys watching your reactions.
“I said we will not make out-”
“What ? I’m just saying ! If I wanna resemble a convincing boyfriend, isn’t it better if I always look like I wanna kiss you ?” he acts all innocent, even daring to pout at you and doing his usual puppy eyes behind his sunglasses.
“If you want it to work, I’ll just have to stick candies on my lips for you to want to look like you want to kiss me, because your sweet tooth is stronger than anything,” you joke, now doing the final touches of your overall makeup and hair, humming slightly.
“Hey, my sweet tooth is not that bad. And don’t worry, I don’t need candies for me to want to do so,” he drawls, stepping back to stare at you standing up. You approach the small box on your night stand and grab some jewelry to wear for tonight.
“I swear you are so annoying when you are flirty !” you groan as you smack the back of his head and he acts like you just gave him the worst pain ever, whining, even though he could have activated his infinity to block your slap. He wraps his arms around your waist and puts his forehead against your nape.
“Ouch, you’re such a bad girlfriend,” he complains, clearly wanting to annoy you. You roll your eyes and spray some perfume regardless of his small tantrum. You swear you just felt him sniff the scent on your neck.
“If I’m such a bad girlfriend, maybe I’ll purposely destroy your plan and tell everyone at this gathering that in reality I’m your best friend and that you are a liar. No ?” you threaten, putting a hand on your hip in a reproachful way as you turn to face him.
“You are a wonderful girlfriend, and best friend. Did I forget to tell you how amazing you are ?” he directly corrects himself, batting his lashes to sooth you down. You chuckle, and step closer, before grabbing his tie and putting it back well as it was too loose. You feel his minty breath on your head, and you raise your eyes, smirking smugly.
“I know, it’s for that I’m helping you out. I hope you’ll pay me back in kind, yeah ?” you muse, tightening the tie by sliding it upwards, and Satoru’s lips stretch in this grin that would make anyone fall on their knees.
“Of course ! I’ll let you use my card to spoil yourself in anything you want, so shopping time,” he shrugs, before touching his tie, fingers brushing against yours innocently.
“Hmmm, that’s a deal…” you whisper.
Some minutes later, your shoes on, you finish putting on your coat and take your bag. Satoru’s car was parked down your street, and the drive wouldn’t be very long, only 20 minutes to arrive at your destination. Before you both step out of your apartment, your best friend inspects you one last time, looking at your dress and how it compliments your curves, as well as your hair sitting prettily around your charming face, the makeup enhancing your natural beauty. He can’t help but smile like an idiot.
“What ?” you ask, feeling his gaze.
“Hmmm ?”
“Why are you looking at me like that ?” you repeat, suspiciously.
“You’re just very pretty tonight, y/n,” he says more gently, and Satoru doesn’t often compliment you like that, so it surprises you. Yet, you smile at his kind words, and look away to avoid his burning gaze.
“Well, thank you. You look good too. The hair slicked back does suit you well,” you answer, opening the door and walking towards the stair of the building as Satoru closes the apartment with his spare keys. As if he really did live here. Well, he may, since he always ends up spending time at your place.
“You might as well make me fall in love for real tonight,” he teases, putting his hand behind your back while you walk down the stairs.
“Ahahah, I thought I would be the one falling in love because of how good you’ll act ? Are the roles already getting reversed ?” you joke, and Satoru returns your smirk, shaking his head playfully.
“Nah, the roles aren’t getting reversed,” he answers.
You roll your eyes, and after some back and forth, you enter his car in the passenger seat. As you both talk and listen to the radio, looking at the lights of the streets of tokyo during this evening, you can’t help but wonder how it will go. You have this one hell of a strange feeling in your gut.
જ⁀➴ ⠀ׂ
Your arm is wrapped around the one of Satoru, as he insisted on walking like that by your side, and to enter the gathering this way. It was chic and elegant, the place screaming money as you walked past the door. The moment Gojo Satoru steps inside, everyone around is looking at The Strongest. You felt slightly intimidated, as people stared at you, wondering who the woman was locked at his arm.
“Here we go for a ride of fun…” mutters Satoru to you in between his lips, giving a fake smile to an elder greeting him. You sigh, nodding.
“Greetings. We didn’t expect you to finally come and be blessed by your presence, sir Gojo. May I ask who is… she ?” asks the elder, sipping on some champagne as he eyes you up and down before smiling through his moustache to the white haired man. Many others gather around, wanting to hear the answer, and to talk to the great Gojo Satoru in person.
“I got forced to come here, if I had the possibility of not coming, I would have…” he starts to answer in this bratty way of his, clearly not caring about etiquettes or other basic polite ways of speaking, “but anywayyyssss. This is y/n, my girlfriend,” he finishes, grinning mischievously, waiting for their reactions.
Gasps are heard, they look shocked, staring at each other wondering if it was true, and then back at the two of you. You decide to continue this little act, coughing slightly before getting closer to your supposed boyfriend. You squeeze his arm against your breast, and give a bright smile.
“Pleased to meet you. Satoru insisted for me to come and to give him company, I hope it’s not a bother. I’m indeed his girlfriend,” you bow slightly saying that, and you see at the corner of your eye the smiles he flashes them, proud at how utterly flabbergasted they look.
“No way…” “This man is already taken ?” “Do you think he’ll marry her ?” “I heard rumours that he never wanted to settle down, what is going on ?” “Here I wanted him to marry my daughter… I hope they will break up soon” “Is he really dating someone like her ?” “Who the hell is she ?”. These were all kinds of sentences and whispers you could hear around you, and you already started to have a growing headache just by listening to all this. Yet you stay unfazed.
“Now, If you may, I have some clan leaders to greet,” Satoru excuses himself and brings you with him, discreetly showing you his hand that you high five.
“I wish I could have recorded that,” he chuckles slightly, and you give him a wink before stopping in front of a couple of an old woman and man, looking judgmental. You recognized them as the heads of a clan. A not very powerful one, but it still did hold its ground.
“Gojo, what a pleasure to finally see you. You ended up answering your duties,” the woman starts, squinting her eyes as she glares at him.
“If I didn’t come before is because I had better duties to attend to,” he answers like a provocation, acting nonchalantly and unbothered.
“I see you were busy having… fun,” adds the man, now looking at you when saying his last word.
“We heard she is your girlfriend. When will you marry her ?” The woman raises an eyebrow, looking strict as ever. If you had water in your mouth, you would have spilled it all over them. You feel Satoru tensing next to you, so you decide to answer instead of him :
“Hum, marriage is a bit soon to talk about,” you chuckle slightly nervously saying that.
“Well, you should quickly give him heirs. The jujutsu world can’t wait,” answers the man, not expecting an objection from your part.
“The jujutsu world will wait,” retorts Satoru more firmly, now all the teasing in his voice is gone.
“Oh- sir Gojo, this is not the first time we talked about this. The weight of the world is on your shoulders, giving heirs to have strong lineages of future jujutsu sorcerers is the top priority !” scoffs the woman, looking indignant.
“Right, the top priority is surely not to make the new generations strong enough to be able to survive in this damned world, and do our best to protect people from curses,” snarls Satoru, rolling his eyes. The tension was growing fast, and you felt that the anger bubbling inside of you, Satoru, and them, could cause big problems.
“You little brat-” groans the old man.
“If you insist on him having heirs, we will go make some in the toilets. Hope you won’t mind. Bye,” you exclaim, irritated, offering them a big smile before grabbing Satoru’s hand and dragging him towards the toilets for a small break. Barely some minutes in, and it already was damn overwhelming. You understood better why Satoru avoided these gatherings like the plague.
“Didn’t know you wanted to make babies with me,” suddenly says Satoru as he leans against the sink, arms crossed over his chest and smiling at you. He didn’t look tense at all anymore, as if what happened barely some seconds ago was long forgotten. His lips curl in this seductive grin, wanting to joke around.
“Satoru, I said this to be able to breathe for two seconds,” you sigh, looking at yourself in the mirror before dusting your dress. You still felt tense from what they said, and it didn’t escape Satoru’s Six Eyes. He could read you like an open book, after all. Knowing you since high school allowed him to understand whatever was happening inside your brain at light speed.
“Awww… and here I thought you wanted to fuck me. Ok, my bad,” he fake pouts, getting closer to you as he stands from his position against the sink.
“Very funny,” you scoff, flustered but deciding to hide it. Satoru always liked to joke around, so him saying that wasn’t a surprise. But why in this situation did you feel oddly nervous in his presence and more sensitive at his teasing ? Satoru notices the frown forming in between your eyebrows and decides to change the subject.
“Are you already feeling pissed ? It’s only the beginning. I told you it would be exhausting. They never know when to shut up, or when to stop being pains in the ass,” he sighs, now being in front of you, and your back against the door.
“I’m good. Let’s go back,” you end up announcing, giving him a determined gaze. He smiles and then takes your hand in his, walking out of the bathroom.
“As you wish, but if you need a break, I’ll gladly come with you,” he nudges you playfully.
“Well, I’ll drink some champagne to help me to not want to kill myself every second of this evening,” you laugh in return.
“Wise decision.”
And here you were back in this loop of playing pretend with Satoru. Aside from the very annoying questions of the elders, and some that were clearly unhappy of this newfound union, acting like his lover was very easy. You just had to hold his hand or arm, and say you were his girlfriend, and sometimes act a bit cringey on purpose (which Satoru adored to do).
You left Satoru to go fetch another glass of champagne. As you sip on it and start walking, you bump into someone and almost make the liquid spill on the floor. But thankfully a hand grabs your arm and stops you from making this mistake.
“I didn’t know the girlfriend of Gojo Satoru would be clumsy,” says a voice, a familiar annoying voice. As you lift your head to meet the eyes of the man, you directly take off your arm of his grip when you see who it is.
Naoya Zenin. A man you despised so much. He had this bad reputation, and the small moments you interacted with him since highschool, you knew you couldn’t stand him. Arrogant, sexist, thinking he was better than anyone, mean, uncaring… An horrible mix that sadly made him a powerful man.
“You are the one that bumped into me, don’t you think you should say sorry ?” you snap back, clearly not wanting to deal with him right now. For fuck’s sake ! Why did he have to attend this gathering too ?
“Oh, feisty as always, y/n. A nice woman would apologize. Don’t you know how to act cute ?” he stands closer to you, narrowing his snake-like eyes, and lifts his chin arrogantly.
“Don’t you know how to mind your own business ?” you reply, before turning on your heels ready to leave. But at the same moment he grabs your arm again and quickly follows you to block you from walking away. You glare at him, doing your best to not slap him and start a scene.
“Hey, where are you going ? I want to talk. I just actually can’t believe that you suddenly are dating Gojo Satoru,” he laughs, but clearly it’s a mocking laugh.
“Why is it so surprising ? I have known him since highschool, and we’ve been close for years now,” you defend yourself. And even if it was fake, deep in your heart, you knew that it wouldn’t be very shocking if you and him really ended up dating, as you both have been inseparable for years. Even more since Suguru deflected.
“Well, he doesn’t do commitment. Didn’t expect him to be tamed by someone like you,” he insists, eying you like you were a prey of some kind. A shiver of disgust runs down your spine.
“This is no one of your concern,” you spat, threatening.
“Aren’t you afraid he’ll cheat on you ?” he asks, in a fake innocent way.
“Excuse-me ?” you raise your eyebrows, not believing what he just said.
“You heard me well. I don’t believe Gojo Satoru is the kind of man to be a good boy and stay with a woman and marry her. He’ll surely go see what other women have to offer him before he gets bored,” he scoffs, and his smile gets wider while talking this nonsense. Sure, being The Strongest meant for Satoru that settling down was something almost impossible for him, and he never actually dated anyone. But he wasn’t the type to cheat and disrespect women or an imaginary partner. And that enraged you that Naoya misunderstood him, and that a lot of people probably thought the same as well when they didn’t even know him personally. That was downright disrespectful.
“Watch your mouth, you’re talking about my boyfriend right here. He is not like you, treating women like objects to fool around with,” you snarl, stepping even closer menacingly. You were boiling with anger.
“No, me, if I have a woman, I will directly marry her and make her bear my heirs. That’s what the head of a clan should do,” he retorts, raising his chin even more to look down at you.
“You aren’t even the head of your clan,” you correct. He scoffs, and looks away. But then his eyes land on something, and a mischievous smirk forms on his lips.
“Tch… Well, look at that. Surely he’s already cheating on you,” he points out while doing a movement with his head, showing you Satoru talking to a woman. He was facing her, so you only saw his back, unable to look at his facial reactions or what he could be saying. The woman, on the other hand, was blushing and clearly interested in that talk. You don’t know why, but you felt a pang of jealousy in your chest. You shake your head, chasing this thought of your mind.
“He’s just… talking to her. What is wrong with you ?” Naoya smiles.
“Don’t look so sad. He didn’t even put a ring on your finger. Why don’t you leave him before it’s too late ?” he proposes, looking at your hand that was holding the glass of champagne. You frown and gulp it down, putting the glass on the table at your left.
“Leaving him ? To do what, uh ? Don’t get ahead of yourself.” You shake your head, huffing.
“If you were mine, y/n, I would have already married you and knocked you full of my child,” he whispers, stepping closer to you and murmuring these nasty words in your ear. Ew. Disgust is written all over your face, and you clench your hands, nails digging in your palm as you glare at him, ready to tell him how inappropriate and repulsive it was.
“Gladly she is not yours,” a voice suddenly says. An arm snakes around your waist and brings you against Satoru, looking deadly at Naoya, showing how pissed off he was by what he just heard.
“Satoru ? Weren’t you-” you stutter confused by his sudden presence, looking at him.
“Ah, sorry sweetheart. Got caught up in an unwanted conversation. ‘Mind if you tell me what this pesky rat wants ?” asks the white haired man, bringing you closer and even kissing your forehead tenderly. You knew it was for the act, but this simple gesture helped you calm down significantly, reassured he was here. Naoya, on the contrary, frowned at the way Satoru called him, clenching his jaw. A vein was about to pop.
“Don’t make me laugh, ‘The Great Gojo Satoru’ settling down ? What a joke !” he scoffs mockingly. Your best friend unconsciously tightens his grip on your waist.
“What, don’t tell me you are jealous, Naoya ? Y/n is very well by my side, and if she had to marry someone, it surely would never be you,” he answers, raising an eyebrow and tilting his head to the side.
“As I said, there is no ring on her finger. She is still available on the market, as well as you, and I’m not sure that even if you did ask for her hand in marriage, the elders would accept such a union.” You look offended, starting to again be angered at the poor way he was talking to you and Satoru. This man had no shame in his bones.
“Your opinion is irrelevant. Treating people like objects will lead you nowhere aside from being a scumbag,” you interfere, squinting your eyes.
“No, I’m just stating facts. Gojo, maybe if you fuck her good and impregnante her, she’ll be accepted as your bride,” his smile widen at his disgusting words, clearly proud of what he just proposed. Satoru stiffens, and the blue of his eyes becomes electric, the air around him shifting to something menacing.
“Have you gone mad, Naoya ?!” Gojo says, in a cold and unwavering voice, giving you the chills. Seeing he was about to snap, and even if you would be happy to see him beat up to death the Zenin man, you knew better than to cause a scene in this gathering.
“Goodbye, and please fuck off, man,” you say to the green haired one before dragging Satoru with you.
You quickly grab a glass of champagne and hand it to your best friend, noticing how many people around were eavesdropping on the conversation, clearly interested in this drama going on and wanting to gossip about it.
“Here, drink this instead of murdering someone,” you say. He takes it, before swallowing the liquid in one go, putting back the now empty glass on the trail. You gulp one too, taking this advice for yourself, because if you listened to your inner thoughts, you would have already jumped Naoya and snatched the skin off his face.
“Are you okay ? Sorry, I didn’t know he would attend this event, and would come to pester you. If I knew I wouldn’t have left you alone,” says Gojo, looking apologetic as he steps closer to you and even takes your hand in his.
“I’m used to this bastard spatting nonsense, it’s nothing new and clearly not your fault. So, don’t apologize,” you squeeze his fingers gently, sighing.
“I’m a bad boyfriend, aren’t I ?” He asks with a small smirk, his thumb caressing your soft skin. You didn’t know if he did this because some people were looking, or if it was a genuine sign of affection. You secretly hoped it was the second option.
“No, you are a wonderful boyfriend, Satoru,” you correct, smiling up at him. He winks at you before grabbing another glass of champagne and drinking it. You frown.
“Hey, you don’t hold your liquor, so don’t drink too much,” you try to warn him.
“It’s either that, either I hollow purple this place. You choose, sweetheart,” he muses, his cheeks already turning red. Even if he didn’t like the taste, Satoru was pissed off as hell right now, and he just wanted to put his mind elsewhere, and gather some more energy to stay at this gathering. You sigh, and decide to join him in this drinking session when you see another couple of elders approaching. Here we go again…
A whole hour passed. It was boring as hell, that even the uptights clan leaders started to drink more too. Least to say, everyone was bored, actually. You sigh as you step away from a conversation Satoru had to entertain with some daughters of high ranked jujutsu sorcerers. You were tired of rejecting their advances towards your fake boyfriend, as they clearly thought they still had a chance to maybe marry him in the future. Satoru looks at you like a lost puppy when you walk away, not wanting to be left alone. But you just wanted some fresh air.
As you step in the balcony, at the corner of your eyes you see Naoya looking at you meters away, before saying something to an older man. This man nods and glances at you, before smiling in a way that makes your skin crawl when you see him walking towards you. Oh no… You try to stay calm when he is in front of you, and how he is adopting a seductive posture.
“Good evening. It’s Y/n, right ? What a lovely name… Gojo Satoru is very lucky to have a beauty like you at his side,” he says. You give him a polite smile, the alcohol in your system making you want to say nonsense but you shut your mouth instead of talking shit.
“Aww, are you shy ? I know I can be intimidating… Don’t worry, I’m sure we will get along. I know how to talk to women and entertain them." He steps closer, narrowing his eyes. You want to throw up. Is he flirting with you ? Even though he surely is twice your age and married ? You look at the ring on his finger. Yep, this man has a wife. You pity her.
“I’m good,” you simply say, not wanting to engage more in the conversation.
“Since you seem timid, how about we go somewhere quieter to talk and learn to know each other ? I know an empty room next to the main event, like that, it would be just the two of us,” he grins, looking at your curves, and his eyes fall on your breast. You swallow thickly, stopping yourself from slapping his face. Double ew, what a pervert.
“I don’t think it’s appropriate. My boyfriend will surely disagree, as well as your wife,” you answer, narrowing your eyes. He puts his hand on your shoulder, and you swear it’s as if his touch burned your skin.
“Oh… my wife isn’t here, don’t worry about that. And your boyfriend wouldn’t know,” he muses, but then a strong hand snatches his hand away by gripping his wrist strongly. The man lets a gasp of pain, and his face distorts with anger.
“I wouldn’t know what ? And I’m sure your wife would be very pleased that you are trying to get with someone the same age as your daughter,” asks Satoru, putting more strength in his hold, and if he applied just a bit of more pressure, you were sure the bones would crack immediately.
“Sir Gojo, I fear this is a misunderstanding !” he gasps, afraid.
“I fear that it is not. Learn to respect boundaries, and never touch my girlfriend again, or any other women, if you don’t want something bad happening to you. Yeah, you old geezer ?” he menaces him with a bright smile on his flushed face from the champagne. You realized you were as inhibited as him.
“Why not make him learn his lesson now, honey ?” you say drunkenly, stepping closer, threatening. You really just wanted to snap. This interaction was your last straw, and the man in front of you scoffs offended and tries to squirm away. But thankfully, in this balcony, nobody notices what is happening. Satoru chuckles, clearly amused by your proposition.
“Awww, what a wonderful idea sugarplum ! What do you think about cutting his small dick ? Like that we’ll be sure he will not bother anyone else again,” chants happily the white haired sorcerer, grinning widely, almost unhinged.
“Don’t forget his hand, like that he’ll touch nobody else,” you add playfully.
“Do you realize who you are talking to ?! I’m a noble, and invested a lot of money in the jujutsu highschool of Tokyo !” protests the man in a broken voice, lamenting about what was about to happen to him.
“Don’t make me laugh. You are talking to Gojo Satoru, duh. The money you invested is nothing to what I could provide. And how about admitting that this so-called money is actually from gambling ? Yeah, I know more than you think I do. Did you know that your wife loves to gossip when she is bored of having an awful husband like you ? I bet you don’t, since you spend all your time gambling and drinking,” muses Satoru, bringing him closer and looking down at him with disdain, something dangerous and provocative in his eyes. The man gulps and shakes of fear.
“This- I- I’m sorry, this is all a mistake !” he implores, and seeing that someone was approaching the balcony, Satoru lets go of his bruised wrist and the old noble runs away. He even bumps into some other persons, stumbles, but still rushes towards the exit, humiliated.
“Bahahahahaha !” you explose of laughter as Satoru whispers to himself that he would deal with him later. He looks at you, and joins you in your laugh, enjoying seeing you smile like that. He wraps his arm around your shoulder, walking back inside and giving a provocative glance to an annoyed Naoya meters away.
“I’m bored, should we go ?” he proposes, trying to walk straight as the drunkenness was really taking over his tall body.
“Hmmm, I agree,” you nod, walking towards the main door to exit this gathering. It was getting late, anyway.
Satoru stops and makes you spin around. His arm that was around your shoulder slides down your back, bringing you flush against him. Your skin suddenly feels hotter, and his hazy half lidded eyes look down at you. A big smile stretches on his rosy lips, which he licks for a second.
“Satoru ?” you ask, surprised of him doing that. You stabilize yourself against him, hand on his chest, wondering if he forgot something before leaving.
“Let’s shock them well before leaving, what do you think ?” he proposes, his face getting closer to yours. Something glints in his irises, and you get hypnotized as you stare into the depth of his eyes. Your heart quickens again, excited.
“Uh- alright ? But doing wh-” you get cut the moment you agree, his lips crashing against yours. You open your eyelids wide, and even hear some gasps around you. But fuck, the sweet taste of your bestfriend lips were so delicious, and the alcohol in your system made you bolder, wanting more. You close your eyes, and his other hand cradles the back of your head to bring you impossibly closer.
He parts his lips, his tongue entering your mouth. The blood in your body rushes to your face, and in between your thighs. You answer the kiss, not caring how inappropriate it was, but it was Satoru’s plan to shock them all. So, on purpose, you grab him by his tie and flush him against you, tongues caressing each other sensually. You melt against his mouth, him kissing you like a starved man that couldn’t stop his hunger. It’s as if he couldn’t live without your lips. Your eyes flutter, getting lost in whatever was happening.
Sensing it was escalating, he slowly parted ways, a string of saliva connecting your lips. You gasp for air, and his feverish eyes look like they want to devour you.
“Told you we’ll make out,” he says, before grinning at you. You swallow thickly, and step back before looking at all the people around whispering among themselves. You had no time to feel embarrassed that the drunk Satoru, with no shame, takes your hand before bringing you with him and then he screams :
“Now fuck you all ! Byeeeee !”
You couldn’t even properly react that you were back outside. The coldness of the wind brings some sense to your clouded mind, and he stretches before looking at the sky.
“Ahhh, that felt great ! I feel like a new man now,” he sighs, clearly proud of what just happened.
“Don’t you think that will backfire ?” you ask, looking at him.
“Nah, I did way worse. They are used to me being a pain in their ass. But they can’t really say anything. The perks of being The Strongest, y/n,” he winks at you saying that, and it’s only now that you realize your smudged lipstick is all over his mouth. You chuckle and go on your tiptoes, taking your thumb to gently try to wipe the makeup off his skin.
“Are you trying to seduce me ? Because it’s working,” he whispers playfully, and his breath mingles with yours.
“So the roles are indeed reversed,” you add, passing your thumb on his lower lip and then looking at your finger full of makeup. He looks at you intently, eyes roaming over your face.
“Nah, it’s you that is so in love with me right now,” he corrects, winking at you playfully, and you can’t help but feel flustered as you let out a laugh at his saying.
“You are the one that kissed me,” you reply.
“Yeah, and I liked it,” he murmurs, looking down at your mouth. Was the alcohol making him say bolder things ? You didn’t know.
“So you agree you are the one that got charmed ?” you ask, brushing his hair with your hand, putting back some loose strands. His eyes are on you when you do that, and if outside wasn’t so dark, you would have noticed the tip of his ears turning red.
“Good question,” he simply answers as you step back, letting some distance in between the two of you.
“And we are drunk, so we should get home,” you then inform, looking around at the street where some cars pass, as well as a few people.
“I can’t drive my car, then,” he sighs, crossing his arms over his chest.
“What do we do ? If we call a cab, your car will stay here,” you frown, realizing the situation. Maybe you shouldn’t have given this glass of champagne to Satoru back then…
“Let’s sleep in a hotel room,” he proposes nonchalantly, pointing at one that was on the opposite street.
“Are we really having this whole dating experience right now, or…?” you try to joke. It wouldn’t be the first time that you would sleep in a hotel with Satoru, nor even sleep together. It was something usual in your friendship, having sleepovers or even pajama parties as Gojo called them. But, in this situation, it felt different.
“You might become my real girlfriend at the end of the night, who knows ?” he teases, nudging you, and that makes you roll your eyes at his antics.
“You wish,” you laugh.
“You’re so mean to your bestie,” Satoru whines, pouting, before dragging you with him.
It didn’t take long to register at the hotel and have a room. Sleeping in the same bed wasn’t a problem either. As soon as you arrived inside the place, you quickly went to shower, taking off your makeup and hoping the water would wake you up. You wash yourself, getting lost in thoughts.
Great, you had no pajamas, and surely you wouldn’t sleep in your dress. And even if you really liked Satoru, sleeping naked next to him was a no. You sigh, wrapping a towel around your body and stepping out of the bathroom. Satoru was sitting on the edge of the bed, scrolling on his phone to try to distract himself, but you saw how he was mindlessly looking at it. The alcohol really did hit him hard. You try to not laugh. He lifts his head and smiles when seeing you coming, you notice his gaze on your wet skin.
“Can I use the shower now ?” he asks, standing up.
“Yep, but we have a problem. We don’t have any changes, or pajamas,” you sigh, sitting on the bed where he sat earlier. He hums, looking down at you, before taking off his suit jacket, and then he slowly takes off his tie. He slides it down, liberating his neck and he lets out a small groan of relief. This simple gesture was horribly sexy, that you almost caught yourself drooling. You snap back of your train of unholy thoughts when he unbuttons his shirt, showing his broad chest, and then abs, down to his marked v-line, before wrapping the tissue around your shoulders.
“Use it to sleep with,” he says, and when you raise your eyes, you are met with his right in front of yours.
“What a gentleman,” you say, smiling more awkwardly than you intended.
“I told you I’ll be a good boyfriend ! Anyways, I come back,” he muses, winking at you before closing the door behind him once he enters the bathroom. Soon, you hear the sound of the water running.
You take off your towel and close the shirt around your body. It was big enough to arrive under your ass, around mid-thighs. Shit, it smelled just like his cologne. Some weird fantasies come to your mind as you lay under the covers, remembering the heated makeout of earlier. Your heart is hammering inside your chest, and you try to control your breathing as you rub your thighs together.
This is bad. Satoru is your best friend. Yes, you maybe had a crush on him since highschool, and you two have been extremely close for years. But you always kept your feelings to yourself. Yet, what was happening right now messed up your mind. You had to calm down. Plus, you still were drunk, and Satoru too. It would be inappropriate to hope for something, or even try something in this state of mind.
Your thoughts are stopped when Satoru steps out of the bathroom only in his boxers, a towel around his neck. He grabs yours that was still on the bed and puts them to dry. He then walks towards the bed.
“Don’t fall asleep without me,” he says, sliding under the covers and smiling at you. You return the smile and scoot closer without realizing. His grin becomes bigger.
“I’m tired,” you whisper.
“Then come here,” he says, opening his arms, inviting you to come snuggle in the warmth of his chest. You don’t need to get asked twice, you directly shift around and lay your head on the spot of his heartbeat. His strong arms wrap around your frame, hugging you closer. The sweet smell of shower gel caresses your nostril, and your cheek is flush against his soft skin.
“Are you satisfied with your evil plan ?” you ask in a quieter voice. His hand gently caresses your back up and down, sharing his warmth with yours.
“Hmm, I think we should pretend to be boyfriend and girlfriend more often,” he says.
“How long will it last ?” you roll your eyes, looking up at him saying that.
“Until mariage !” he jokes, but you are not sure if he is completely joking.
“What, and want me to give you a kid too ?” you add, thinking back about the sayings of the people at the gathering. He stays silent for a second, and you wonder if he took your joke badly. But before you can say anything, he murmurs, “If it’s with you, maybe it wouldnt be so bad in the end.” You didn't quite hear what he said, so you raise your eyebrow, looking at him.
“What ?”
“Nothing. Good night, y/n,” he simply answers after his chest rumbles from him laughing. You then feel his lips land on your forehead, kissing it tenderly. He turns off the light, and now you two are in the dark.
You close your eyes, relaxing against him, and your breathing becomes softer, as well as his. His hand continues to mindlessly caressing you, lulling you to sleep. It was in those simple moments that you realized how much you value your relationship with Satoru. Even if you both never confessed, or weren’t really dating, the comfort of having him by your side and knowing you always could count on him was enough.
But you had to admit... This tension that was already there for years, went skyrocket tonight. Not to add the kiss. Satoru mentioned too how you both will surely continue to play pretend, as in the eyes of the high jujutsu society, you now were his girlfriend.
Will this little game lead to something bigger ?
It only was the beginning, and putting too much of your mind into it would give you a headache. So in the warmth and intimacy of this moment, Satoru and you both fall asleep, unaware of how your relationship would evolve in the future.
