anyway, leaning more towards the topic at hand. i don't doubt that your opinion is much different than a large part of the community under this tag. which is a very, very good thing! i'm pretty sure it was ever since @/gilfhub's posts started to quickly rise in the top pages that lead a lot of users to be influenced and begin to tear down a very, very important boundary. i'm very sorry to hear that being exposed to that affected you mentally, that's the entire reason why i absolutely abhor blogs that post and enable that content. you're not alone on that either <3 and i agree! people should ALWAYS write boundaries in mind. i've lurked around the tag a lot and noticed a lot of "popular" writers who also have an alternative blog for dark content (this isn't just a specific account, there are a lot of these.) warnings don't make things better, they don't fend witnesses away, and it doesn't make you any less insensitive. "dead dove content" itself (which is really just incestual/horribly taboo sexual assault fantasies, no need to sanitize it) should always be suppressed and private (or, well, NOT WRITTEN AT ALL). the moment you put it up on any kind of digital page, you are attracting ANY kind of viewer and none of that shit is cute, i'm sorry. projecting your trauma onto a character is one thing but writing them as someone who skips the morality line is just straight up trying to exercise your power through the wrong means. just as much as you have the power to express yourself, you also have the power to make someone very uncomfortable. people don't think about these situations in the long run, that's why. they seem to really like using the "leon is just a character, i promise he won't care" argument which i also think is total bullshit cause this isn't even about leon, it just entirely reflects what your true values really are. they centralize around the need to express yourself at the expense of other people's comfort (because, for the nth time, it's a public space with an unpredictable demographic yet people seem to really like just doing the "bare minimum" on their part). whilst your perception of a traumatic experience may be valid, it doesn't give you any excuse. this is far from the idea of free individualistic expression, it is just as bad as some 4channer posting about wanting similar situations be inflicted onto them with even real, sentient people. because we all know why these themes allow themselves to be exposed to the audience and that's because it tries to appeal to a very specific group of people (which is very disgusting.) they want to be so condescending, too. like "oh grow up, i'm all under ur skin and for what." it's blatant ignorance, you're not very smart!

and finally as ironic as it is, porn is to blame for enabling a lot of similar themes. it's so obvious, too, a lot of fictions like the ones you mentioned that are dead dove always have to mention pornography titles in it. (honestly doesn't have to be dead dove either). sanitization can be done in MANY ways, and a lot of the times I notice it's through the way of romanticizing or aestheticizing it. I'm talking about those who put up mini pinterest-board headers of like three whatevercore images and then putting lyrics at the bottom of it. it's like an attempt at writing a very bad fucking movie not gonna lie. for example, they end up trying to decorate their post with elements that fall under anything curated aesthetic. and guess what? we've all been there but NOT for writing about uncle!character and their kid reader thats just flat out WEIRD. trust me you are NOT anais nin, you do not have to write lyrical prose and try to beautify something that will always be ugly and demented to its very core. you cannot call dead dove content "artistic vents", either. i also think i can understand that some people are victims who have failed to get help thus they try to cope through other means. but i will never applause someone for making the right choices. i think there's no excuse behind writing dead dove content other than to self mutilate your mental health in the long run for a temporary moment of "safe fun", and not even knowing that it is also in/directly harming the public eye.

it's rotten. it's disgusting. dead dove writers should not be welcomed in any fictional writing space. i've been triggered over and over again and it made me put off writing and reading for a very long time. i've experienced something similar before and i have gone crazy over it, and trust me, the things these people write so "generously" for their viewers are NOTHING but toxic waste.

i also encourage people to not stay silent on the matters if they want to speak up on it but are afraid of getting backlash. i've seen people delete their accounts over it (which, i guess is good on them since then they won't have to confront this kind of space anymore).

Posts with only links won't be reblogged as well, unless it's a link to a fanfic (but make sure to mention that!). Posts which send unnecessary hate about the series (or anything really) will not be reblogged either since it may create discourse, however meaningful criticism is allowed.

Why was my post not reblogged even though I followed the above criteria?

That would be possibly because I've either missed it or it didn't show up in the tags. You can message or send an ask to inform me.

What about NSFW posts?

NSFW will be reblogged only if it's with the series' own restrictions (that is, the most which can be shown would be nude breasts, though over-fetishism of that won't be reblogged either). You can search with the help of these tags and find what you're looking for!

A Little Introduction For You/DA RULES!!

Have you ever had an Animaniacs/Pinky and The Brain fic you've always wanted to read? Do you have that one nagging idea that just sticks in your mind and invades your every waking thought? Hi guys!!!! I'm Pinky and you probably know me from my blog @theonethatyaks93. You've probably seen my random Pinky and The Brain and Animaniacs posts floating around here for some time (January of 2023 was when I joined but I've been in the Animaniacs fandom since 2020). But I also write fanfiction for funsies and since the Animaniacs/Pinky and The Brain fandom has slowly been waning, I decided to make a sideblog to accept requests for fanfics!!! This is so the fandom can stay alive and other people can find it too!! I'm a tad bit late to the party, but I hope that you guys enjoy what I have in store! Now below: I've listed some of the rules, restrictions, and information about how-to submit a request here!!

I tried not to set too many rules but here are the main ones(Most of this is taken from my announcement post on my main blog):

There will be absolutely NO 18+ content allowed. There are a ton of fics out there with mature labels that you can find; you don't have to look hard. I do not feel comfortable writing that stuff yet. Don't ask for smut of any kind because you will not get it, I guarantee that. The farthest I want to go is deep kissing (i.e. tongue) but I'm only willing to do that for Pinky and Brain exclusively, since it doesn't seem to bother the fandom that much. I WILL NOT do that stuff for Yakko and Max because it doesn't sit well with me since they are so young. If deeper, more aggressive kissing is involved in Brinky fics, the tag: mildly spicy mice, will be used to indicate this. It won't be in every fic, I promise. :)

NO WARNERCEST REQESTS!!! That will get you promptly banned off of both my blogs for the foreseeable future. I HATE THIS SHIP SO MUCH AND IT'S DISGUSTING!!!! This also ties into the no 18+ content label mentioned earlier. Do not ask for this.

Fic requests may take up to a week or more to complete. It will depend on the ask itself and the story ideas I compile together. I'm very busy with other life things and stresses that it will be difficult to find the time to work on these. I will optimize weekends for fic writing to my best ability, but I will let you guys know if I'm taking a break. When I'm taking a short break, the ask box will be closed temporarily, but it will be re-opened.

Other ships such as Billie x Julia, Wakko x Louie Duck, and Dark Pinky x Future Brain will be accepted if you request them. If these take longer to make, it's going to be because I haven't written for these ideas before and I will need time to make sure everything is done decently. I'm also accepting AU ideas such as gender-swaps (I have a really good idea if y'all want to see a gender-swapped Pinky and Brain) . However, parody ideas will be extremely risky to request since if I haven't seen the material, I can't make the parody and if I have seen it, I might make a whole fic based on it rather than just a simple one-shot. I am also not accepting Wakko's Wish requests until further notice; I have a few pending and I will get to those eventually, thanks for being patient.

If your request takes longer to complete and it's not a parody or a ship I haven't worked with before, it's likely because I am working on a fic for AO3, most likely my one-shots, or a tedious multi-chapter. Don't think I've abandoned your request; I will get to you ASAP after I'm done with whatever project I'm on.

Certain things that are banned from the askbox: mean comments, smut requests, Warnercest, non-Animaniacs/PaTB requests, harassment of other individuals. Certain ships, such as Warnercest and Brain x Julia will not be allowed either due to personal or emotionally scarring reasons.

Last thing: Enjoy it!!! Make requests that are angsty, silly, fluffy, sad, or happy! Think about what you've always wanted to see in a fanfic, or an idea that you would enjoy seeing my take on. Just make sure to follow my rules and boundaries so we can all enjoy this as a fandom.

I have a few... well, many things to add to this. This might get very long, so bear with me.

First of all, just to get this off the table, I do agree with pretty much all your arguments and of everyone else who offered their perspective.

I too have been through many things and saw all the possible palette of situations going on in this fandom, from some of the most wonderful, to some of the craziest and repulsive. I'm in this fandom since the beginning of 2021, so in two full years I've seen some stuff. Add the fact that this is the first time I got so deeply involved in a fandom, this will probably carry a lot of significance in my life as I go forward.

With that in mind, everything bellow comes from my perspective and filtered through my experience, so if you don't agree with something, keep in mind that your experience may have been different, which doesn't make it less valid. I will though be very candid and opened because one of my goals this year is to speak my mind more, regardless of consequence, and that mainly for my own mental health. Keeping things inside isn't healthy at all for me in the long run.

I've always likened the dawn of this fandom to a little eden. Everyone was getting along, being kind to each other and just overall having a good time. then it slowly degraded, which is not surprising. All the groups I have been in, wether at school, uni, or work start out like this. It takes some time for people to get accustomed to each other and decide with whom they have affinities and with whom they don't. The big difference is that in real life we see each other face to face, we communicate more readily, see body language, *feel* everything better, which leads to less overthinking. Personally I have to constantly remind myself this so as not to take things personally. In this respect it has been a learning experience for me because I can apply it in real life as well.

There was a time when I was also hurt by all the things here and I recognize them very well, but then upon a deeper introspection I realized maybe I too was guilty of alienating the ones who made me uncomfortable, rather than trying to bridge that gap. An eye for an eye doesn't really work.

Yes, I do reblog the lesser known creators personally, but I also reblog my friends and my friends aren't my clique. I do not only talk to them or gather in a conniving circle of cackling witches, praising each other and despising every one else. I reblog anyone and anything I like, or moves me in any way, but I also try to curate my content.

Also, I had the experience of reblogging a lot from people who I loved and who were lesser known and I got nothing in return. The same for certain friends. Not all give back the same way I do and the reverse might be true as well because time is sadly so, so limited. The reasons are varied, either my oc wears something from a friend with which another friend has beef with, or my post, or rather the npc in my post triggers them etc. It's not easy to bear, but if that is their choice, there's nothing I can do.

To me the message and feelings that this situation gives me takes precedence over the number of notes. When I take the time to offer my energy to someone and I get nothing in return, or very, very little, I feel used and silly, like a little groupie screaming and cheering for their idol, while being utterly ignored. Not a nice feeling to have.

I think being honest with ourselves and realizing our own mistakes is the first step. Others will do the same and will give back what we offer. Those who don't, ideally fall on the wayside.

Another important factor is Tumblr itself. I am surprised no one mentioned this site's algorithm, because it is one of the main reasons people don't have exposure on their creations. I know its patterns quite well after two years and it will hide your posts, it will shadow ban you, oftentimes posts won't appear in the tags and so on.

I am someone who takes periodic breaks. I have quite the busy personal life and I need that time away, not only for the well being of the people in my real life, but also for my fandom experience itself. I get burned out and bored after a while and after a break my passion is renewed. Well, after these well deserved and normal breaks that rarely last more than a week, my reach is to the floor. I barely get a few notes and friends tell me they didn't see my posts.

So many, many times, it is the AI's fault, not the human's.

Just a few days ago I wrote a drabble about one of my personal gripes, which relates to gatekeeping and feeling silenced from showing my otp and hc as they truly are, by the general direction of the fandom and the judgement from others and my post was pretty much ignored. It's great yours got so much traction.

Truth is we do not know each other AT ALL. No one truly knows the other in this fandom. To protect ourselves we must always remember this and either connect and give people the benefit of the doubt, or retreat, regroup, release.

It is also a very small fandom, where everyone nows everyone and there's only a limited number of people who might react and see our creations.

As for cliques... I only know of one which really hurt this fandom deeply, but I won't get into that. The other groups, or circles of friends are an inevitable part of human nature. People gather into groups, "clans" since the beginning of time. It cannot be stopped and it isn't a bad thing, unless it gets malicious as we saw it happening in the past. Discord indeed strengthens these connections and the only places we see each other better, the Town Squares or so to say, are Tumblr and Twitter.

My solutions to this and how I coped until now are to always remember that there's a real human being with feelings behind that OC, or that PFP, that this isn't my job, but a hobby, a passion that should be enjoyed and not become a chore, that yes, my hc and otp are very valid and I love them dearly, but others feel the same for their hcs. Most importantly, that sometimes I need to step back, I need to detach, I need to soar above it all and have a view from above, gather my thoughts and myself, before I plunge back in. We risk becoming "cyberpsychos" if we don't remember who we are and what our goals are here.

I think after solving our own internal issues and learning self love, we can more readily open to others and understand them, put ourselves in their shoes better, but also remember our own independence and not let all this play with our heads.

I love this fandom with the bad and the good. It is exactly like the game and deeply life changing in many ways.

I also appreciate you opening this discussion which gathered so many people and made them speak up. That is I think another solution - communication, honesty, openness.

There are more people with good intentions in this fandom than the opposite.

The Cyberpunk Fandom on Tumblr

After being away for a while and being able to step back and watch from afar, I can easily say that the fandom/community here on Tumblr is dying. Not surprising when you consider how competitive it's become. Not surprising when you consider how toxic and clique-y it's become.

If you're not in a clique, good luck getting notes.

If you're new, good luck getting notes. This place is horrendous for welcoming newcomers.

If you don't have an elaborately modded character and don't have the VP skills of a god, good luck getting your work seen.

Better watch your step or else you'll start an argument. Whether that's about mods or an NPC or headcanon. Better yet, don't share mods or headcanons at all. You will draw the wrath of somebody out there.

But make sure that you're posting new content every three days or else people will forget about you.

And don't make it too creative and different or else people won't like it. Just remix the same old picture in a new way over and over again.

And don't even think about sharing things other than VP of a hot person because nobody cares. All everyone wants to see is a hot person for 5.5 seconds. Put months and months of effort into developing a character? Too bad. Put a lot of love and time into developing lore and writing for your character? Better save it for yourself. No one on this app cares. Your character will be whittled down to how hot they are or not. That's a toxic community.

You have people who've been in this community for months that are hurting. There are people who are losing something they love when their work that they put effort into isn't being noticed. It stings when they're overlooked because they don't meet the ridiculous criteria in this community on this app. You have people that are scared to share their work. You have people that are struggling with their mental health because of this community. Because it's a toxic community. How do I know this? Because I've seen it happen, I've heard them say it aloud.

You have some people here who managed to make it to the top and the rest struggling to keep up. Do you really think it's healthy to have that kind of structure? Do you really think it's healthy that people are buying entire PC set ups just so they can take modded pictures and feel like they belong? That's a toxic community.

Do you really think it's a good thing that those who don't have elaborately modded V's and high end PC set ups aren't getting seen? 30 notes is hardly enough for some of the talent that I see around here. But they're overlooked because they aren't in the right clique or don't create the content that the fandom is demanding or don't use every mod in existence. That's a toxic community.

So what can you do to make it better? Share work that doesn't belong to only your friends. Leave nice notes on shares even if they aren't in your clique. Take a moment to appreciate it when people share something other than VP. Take a moment to appreciate those Vs that aren't elaborately modded. Take a moment to appreciate the talent of people here. Everyone here, not only the same 20-ish people.

This is something that is happening even on Discord servers. I've watched it happen, watched the interaction fade away. But it can be fixed if enough people put an effort into it. That means a real effort, a genuine wish for this community to continue on. If not, then we'll just have a handful of people sharing their VP into a void and nothing more. That isn't a community.

Put an effort in. Look beyond the scope of only what is in arms' reach. Appreciate what people create. Appreciate the effort that is put into their characters. Share things. Reach outwards and see the good in what people create even if they aren't what you've been brainwashed into thinking is good. Because we have been brainwashed. We've been brainwashed into thinking that we can't interact with anyone outside of our clique. We've been slowly made to think that only one set of criteria for VP and OCs are "good" and that is hurting so many people. Simply announcing that you 'think all work is good!' or 'I just do it for myself!' won't mend the hole that's being ripped into people when they aren't acknowledged.

Who is going to share your work when everyone is gone? Who's going to like your work when there's nobody to like it anymore?

And I don't mean that you need to spend hours on Tumblr sharing everything you see. That will only lead to more burn out, so please don't think that's what I mean. I mean that the toxic community practices have to end. I mean leaving the brainwashing behind and acknowledging the talent and skill of all people. I mean acknowledging all people who are here.

Noah and Cody most definitely had a fling we didn’t get to see: an over analyzing of two fictional characters

Before I start: I’m not forcing you to agree with me, I’m not claiming this is canon and you’re allowed to disagree with everything I say on this post. I’m literally just in my feelings and can’t keep my mouth shut that’s all this is. If you’re not interested, goodbye!! Keep scrolling the total drama tags!!!

For those of you who are interested though………

Part 1: Awake-a-thon

Lets get straight to it. The reason any of us ship it in the first place. The ear kiss (which is the first kiss of the series, might I add!!!!!!!)

Rewatching that episode, I noticed it took them 3 and a half days since the beginning of the Awake-a-thon for them to virtually decide to sleep next to each other. Why they didn't just go back to the cabins to get proper sleep is beyond me. Maybe Chris didn't allow it, I don’t know.

Either way though, something happened in that timeframe that led to that ear kiss right. This is where it begins. The bonding. In those four days they got close enough, whether it be through conversation, lack of other companionship or pure chance, that they most likely fell asleep in each other's company. Now we have established that they've at LEAST bonded with each other before the ear kiss, and now have some form of an established relationship.

Speaking of the ear kiss itself, that was very clearly an accident. I love it all the same, and you can claim “Cody was smiling half awake, that means he was enjoying it!”, but they barely know each other at this point. I’m sure whatever happened then was probably not meant to happen. I'd kill to know what Noah was dreaming about, though.

Now you'd think that two 16 year old boys would never want to interact again after one kissed the other's ear on national tv, especially someone like Cody (which I hope I don't have to explain.) AND YET.

Part 2: Dodgebrawl

Why the fuck is Mr. Wannabe Casanova willingly sitting next to the guy that kissed him on national TV. For what reason.

Maybe their initial interactions were superficial, and maybe the kiss strained the small connection they had but… the fact that they sit next to each other frequently and Cody actually smiled at him at one point leads me to believe they actually managed to enjoy each other’s company enough to want to put effort into repairing what might have broke because of that kiss, and did it successfully. If you think I'm being farfetched, might I direct your attention to Noah’s elimination?

Hmmmm. Cody's.... sad? Upset?? To see Noah eliminated??? Notice how he's so far away and behind the rest of the team when this happened. Like he's the only one that feels that way. Because he is. Makes you wonder why he cares so much doesn't it.

We understand that their relationship is strong enough that Cody’s visibly upset and distant as a response to him leaving the competition, yeah? Ok good.

Also only five marshmallows are thrown at him. I'm confident in saying Cody didn't throw a marshmallow at him. We don't even see his reaction to the marshmallow pelting so I'll leave it here.

Isn't it so fucking funny how shit starts lining up so nicely? Almost as if all of it was intentional and there were plans for a friendship in the margins of the writing team's notes that ultimately didn't make it to the final product. I'm not saying that's a fact, I'm just saying that's what it feels like.

Now this isn’t about them interacting directly but I feel It’s important to mention…

Part 3: Playa des Losers (He kissed a guy! No I didn't!)

It’s just that one part. You know the one. It became a popular audio for animatics and TikToks you know what I'm talking about. The fact they are drilling it in your head is saying something. They won't let you forget. If this was the only offense I probably wouldn't care enough to add it here, but it’s NOT. THEY WON'T LET YOU FORGET. WON’T LET THEM FORGET. CHRIST.

This brings us to our next point-

Part 4: TDA's Aftermath

The mere fact Noah and Cody sit next to each other the entirety of the aftermath episodes tells me everything I need to know, but let’s talk about it for the sake of clarity.

Them sitting next to each other despite, and I can’t stress this enough, “embarrassing” themselves on national television (which we are reminded of when they introduce Noah!) is just. Baffling. Cody doesn't even sit next to anyone else in the beginning, he’s on the top corner of the booth. This demonstrates Noah and Cody are considerably comfortable with each other, despite everything. Cody even looks at Noah for approval, which he reciprocates with a smile. I can compile the knowing looks they share during the aftermaths, but I won’t for brevity's sake. They’re friends, your honor.

[I’d also like to add they could have shown any of the dodgebrawl clips for Noah’s introduction, but they chose the ear kiss and proceeded to show them sitting together. If the point was to humiliate him, getting pelted by marshmallows would have done the job just as well!! Being hurt by marshmallows is so pathetic they didn't HAVE TO REMIND US OF THE KISS BUT THEY DID. ARE THEY TRYING TO MAKE A POINT??????]

Love how Cody said one sentence and Noah spoke two words the entirety of action but you can still see the bond they have in the sidelines. Art, truly.

Now. The part that has me CONVINCED the relationship teetered away from being platonic.

Part 5: Celebrity Manhunt

Holy fucking shit. They let it happen again. It happened AGAIN. They remember what happened last time, they’re not stupid or blind. They knew this could happen again and did it again ANYWAY. It couldn’t POSSIBLY be by accident this time. How does someone as smart as Noah and someone as simp-y as Cody make this mistake again. The answer is it wasn’t an accident this time. Noah deliberately slept on Cody’s lap and Cody let him…. What, just BECAUSE??

At least the first time it happened they ran away screaming, but they sat next to each other in the tent this time!!!!! The same day!!!! No shame!!!! No embarrassment!!!! Are you kidding me!!!!!!!!

Not to MENTION they were asleep next to the cliff before this! They woke up, decided to move to the side of the bus, and slept on top of each other. Are you serious? Homosexuals.

This isn’t even their first interaction in the special. I am flabbergasted.

I feel the relationship wasn’t as strong in World Tour (and I don’t want to sit down and rewatch it, at least not now), so I’ll leave it here.

Conclusion

Given what I’ve shown so far, you can see their relationship gradually evolve from being strangers, to friends, to whatever the hell they labeled their relationship after that. I can’t pinpoint when the less than platonic relationship started, but I’ve come to the conclusion that they most definitely had that spark between them, however brief it may have been.

You don’t kiss someone's ear in your sleep and then decide to sleep on their lap because he’s a homie. That’s all I have to say.

Favored Ones (2020 Remastered Edition)

Basic synopsis of the author's thoughts and a declaration:

The synopsis:

All I can see nowadays is the Last of Us fandom dividing over the smallest things. In a way, I can see what has caused it. The Last of Us was one of the first games I've ever finished on my own without the help of my dad (partially bcs I am a sucker at jumping). 

That was six or seven years ago and until this very day, I remember the pressure of fear when I was afraid that either Joel or Ellie is about to die at some part of the story. But when I realized we made it, I cried. Hard. 

So, having Joel just killed off in the first three hours of the story... Naughty Dog... That ain't it. I don't want to be a pain in the ass, but honestly, I think that was just the first thing from a story-telling point which has fucked up the experience for many of us. It was like watching a hot pile of a mess at points, even tho the gameplay was the best I've ever seen. My thoughts during the story were: Great, now we won't guess if Joel's alive or not, we are just heading to kill Abby, most likely to get killed in the process as well, cool, you up for an adventure, Dina? There’s no mystery surrounding the game. Which is what I kinda miss about the old days. 

Another thing is me saying: justice for Joel. Some people agree and some don't, which is fine. But let me say why I want to take a different approach to Joel's story and why do I want to give him a different ending. When I would reminiscent about my childhood and the starts of my gaming, there would be games like Rayman, Kula World or Spyro (I grew up with PlayStation consoles), yet talking about the real gaming, there's this trio of characters who got me into gaming business: Joel Miller, Nathan Drake, and Lara Croft. Maybe even Geralt of Rivia, not so sure there. 

And indeed, Joel had a fucking villain persona since day one. He was a smuggler, a killer, anger was eating him alive, he was an extraordinary brutal torturer and one of the most selfish people I've seen as a protagonist of a video game. But he was real and mostly carried the whole story of the first game on his fucking back. 

That's why I want to do him justice. 

The declaration:

During the story unraveling itself, I won't glorify the acts of murder, torture, cannibalism, kidnapping, or theft, yet all of these will be mentioned and most likely will happen. Keep in mind, that all of this is happening in a ruined society that went through the apocalypse.

In no way, I mean to glorify the persona of Joel Miller as a past murdered and smuggler, yet he will be understood as a complex human person, just the way Ellie Williams, Dina, Jesse, Tommy or Maria will be taken as. Remember that any normal person hasn’t only good or only has attributes, which a feature we all share. We are grey, somewhere in the middle of all those good and bad things in life.

Please, respect such an author’s standpoint and if you don’t want to read any of the listed above, please, quit reading this story. Thank you.

This is an indie RP blog of Yami Yuugi/Atem from Yugioh DM

This blog is semi-selective and semi-private. I will not always write with non-mutuals, but I am open to if I enjoy your muse/muses/writing

I don't mind personal blogs following though I probably won't follow back unless I either know you, you tell me you have a sideblog, or I enjoy the content.

This blog is multiverse, multiship. Each interaction will go into its own world/verse/etc. You may mention my muse in other threads, blogs, but I won't tolerate drama.

I am willing to interact with canon/OC's/other fandoms. 

If your character is an OC/FC related to/knows of my canon muse, they will not know them upon first interaction. I am a bit iffy about accepting pre-established relationships with these characters.

This blog's muses don't really have a setting/world of its own as I enjoy a variety of AU's, verses.

Threads

I am open to a lot of topics/genres. NSFW is possible and loved with the right scenario, setting, chemistry. Sexual content is accepted, but I am selective with smut itself and prefer to know the mun at least a bit (or have interacted before) as I am demisexual/graysexual. This makes writing tricky at times for certain situations.

I tend to match my partner's length. You do not need to match mine, just don't leave me with a one-liner when I reply with like 2-3+ paragraphs.

Plots, memes, whichever is fine. I do however suck at plotting at first, but will brainstorm and throw ideas out.

Always feel free to ask for a starter or use the inbox itself for starters and interactions.

Do not hassle me for replies. You can remind me to get to one if it's been a week+. I have limited energy at times, and being hassled just makes coming to any blog unappealing.

If you continue to hassle me over a reply (a nudge is fine) I will put it at the bottom of my to do list, drop it or block you.

I can be selective with my replies. I am not ignoring you if you think I'm not getting to your reply.

I actually want to write with muns who are interested in writing with me. Those I have known longer and have friendships with will probably get preference, otherwise I will draft things immediately be they asks, threads, and work from oldest or what I have enough mental energy/muse for.

I will tend to queue replies as it's easier. Sometimes I will reply quickly.

One thing I can say though is that my citoita fics are getting closer and closer to being a Zafran Princes fic and since this itself won't appear in the tags let me share the order in which they go from not about them to very about them.

CitoIta via Konomi/Konomi version of SSR fam: as I'm sure you can guess they don't get mentioned. CitoIta is only mentioned a bit towards the end and only one side confirmed. It's very short and like maybe my first a3! fic, will never be posted.

Mankai Meddlers: CitoIta edition: Tangerine and Navel are both mentioned. (No hate to Orange <3, I just needed to point out a souvenior as a good gift for one of them and I decided it was more Navel) (Tangerine was supposed to appear in a scene but this is an incomplete fic, I skipped over that scene and never wrote it) {Tangerine is also mentioned in the sequel. Yes I started a sequel to a fic I didn't finish. Both probs won't ever be finished... unless! But probs not lol.} {Which I guess means I'll never finish the MisuKazu and MarshMugi ones even tho those are prequels lol.}

I think it's safe to say that even though Apartments was an idea first that it's definitely the Arrange Royal Marriage AU: This fic is solely Itaru's pov but Citron shares some details about them sometimes. His relationship with them plays into stuff they discuss and Citron's moods sometimes. They don't appear tho, it ends before they would have too. (Don't worry they get Orange a gift in this fic this time)

Apartments/Neighbors AU: I think they'll get an appearance, I'm not starting from the beginning of Citron's story there. But Rewrite the Stars is almost a song I associate w/ this fic so that mixed with Citron's storyline he might go home at somepoint? Haven't written that far yet tho. But they are pretty important to Citron and half the story is in his pov. Tho it'll probably be mostly Tangerine.

Tangled HS AU: They each got a solo conversation scene with Citron as well as just having a presence in the first couple of chapters, & this story is in Citron's pov only and Citron mentions them throughout the story and they are part of his(and somewhat one other character's) motivation for what they are doing. {Also I've written a couple of side drabbles that go along with the fic in their pov, they each have one but I have plans for another Tangerine one and another Orange one}

Pirates AU: We start on their family Pirate ship! And we'll be there for a little before there's a split in the story, then there'll be a return to the ship towards the end but as I mentioned, this is sorta a bigger idea. So I think even tho CitoIta will probably be the main main characters, I think Orange (and Izumi) are also sorta main characters and get povs too. So we'll still see our dear Zafran younger brothers throughout the story.

Sidenote, I could probably do a separate list like this about Guy's appearances lol.(As of right now he appears the most in either Apartments or Tangled HS. The or is because Tangled HS is shorter but I've written more and Guy's been around, while in Apartments there's less written and there's a distance beimg created between him & Citron lol have I said too much idk)

Past me is a joke! In one of my draft posts, I mention I have a CitoIta fic idea that might be larger but would likely be able to include Izumi and the rest of the Spring Troupe. What idea was that?

The only one I can think of is thief!Itaru but I don't think I developed nearly enough to make a claim like that. Did I have a really good idea I forgot to write down?

PLEASE REBLOG FOR AWARENESS- S*X BOTS:

So, only recently, in the past week I've been getting a lot (and a lot, for my blogs, is six) of random followers, and it was making me a little suspicious, so in the end I just decided to check everything out and see what was going on.

I mean, did a post of mine do really well or something? Did someone tag me a bunch of times? Did someone reblog something?

NO.

I checked who had followed me recently, and, low and behold, it was: bots! How great.

But what was even worse, was that these were s*x bots (I'm censoring some words to keep my blog somewhat safe). S*x bots.

So since I've seen a lot of these over the past few weeks, I've decided to put together a little of what I've found. It's nothing new- and it's pretty much common knowledge- but hopefully it might help a few people out (especially since I'm one of many people who try to keep their blog safe from harmful, or 18+ content) and maybe even help keep some people a little safer here on Tumblr

So, here we go:

PROFILE PICTURES AND USERNAMES:

First of all, check the pfps and usernames. Sometimes they'll be something like "d3rtyg1rl", but not always. Other times it'll be something like "sangdori" or "jpi011" (those are two real accounts that followed me, I've just changed one or two of the letters in them)- so something that sounds like a regular Tumblr account to tebe average user. So if the username checks out as 'normal', the next thing to look at, is the profile picture.

These, similar to the usernames, and all the other things I'm going to mention, may seem normal at first. Some of them may be fluffy kittens (a lot of them are "generic"), others may be a seemingly innocent selfie, a few of them are just blank Tumblr and some are just... straight-up 18+ photos. So be aware that not all of them are going to be easy to spot right away.

LIKES, FOLLOWS AND UPLOADS:

Right, so now we've come to the part where you've checked out the usernames and profile pics, and they both show no signs of anything sinister. Good- now, if you're still suspicious, it's time to check the actual account itself.

The first thing you might want to take a look at, is the content they've uploaded, or in some cases haven't uploaded, onto their blog. This is where things can get deceiving. Many of these accounts have just one "generic" post- such as slime, kittens, glitter, etc (usually these are eye-catching things, which means it can draw people, especially children, in)- immediately followed by some sort of sexual content underneath that, usually in the form of a nude photo or p*rn (some are obscured, though most aren't), which catches you off-guard, to say the least.

Now, as I said before, not all of these bot accounts are the same. Some don't have any uploaded content at all- this is where checking their Likes page comes in.

(And I'm aware that this may sound like we're stalking someone's account at this point, but trust me, we're not. We're just trying to keep ourselves safe- and these are not people, remember, they're bots. Bots don't care, bots don't have feelings. Bots don't care if we block them). So, back to the point, the next thing we check is the Likes pages.

Now, some of these pages will be purely 18+ content, as you would expect. Just straight-up p*rn links, or nude photos. But others, however, seem innocent at first... that is, until you scroll down the page. Usually, it's just liked photos of (again, the generic, and eye-catching stuff) some cute animals, a GIF of slime, or a popular meme, but if you scroll down a little further underneath that, you'll see that same innapropriate content all over again.

Though again, as with all the other things I've mentioned, some of these liked pages seem fine upon inspection, which is where we move onto the final thing to check if what you're seeing is a bot account: the following page.

To be quite simple... this is where you'll need to look at a bunch of accounts all over again... hooray! If you find that some of the accounts seem suspicious from just looking at the pfps and usernames, then great, that usually means you know that the account you were originally looking at is a bot account, and you can block them and be done with it (and even if you're not entirely sure, blocking them will keep you safe, and besides, it doesn't hurt anyone- believe me, your safety takes 100% priority over having that one extra follower).

But, if you can't tell just by looking at them, and you're still suspicious, and you don't want to just block the original account you were looking at... then this would be the time do all of the above again (checking likes, following pages, and content) just to make sure.

If you don't find anything else suspicious, then congratulations, it's probably not a bot account, and you don't have to worry about it. But again, if you ARE worried, then PLEASE do just block and/or report, the account. It's better to have one less follower, than be unsafe, or have to feel uncomfortable.

SO, I THINK IT'S A BOT ACCOUNT, NOW WHAT?

Now, if you've been through all of the above, and/or you're pretty sure that what you've seen is a bot account, then it's time to either block it, or report it.

To block an account, simply tap on the little 'human/person' icon in the top right of that specific account, and tap 'block' (note: this will only report them from one of your blogs. If you want to block them from another, or all of your blogs, you'll have to add them to the block list for taht specific blog). To report someone instead, just tap 'report'.

So, you might be wondering: what's the difference between reporting someone and blocking them?

Well, I'll tell you as best as I can. Blocking someone means:

They won’t be able to follow your blog, or send you fan mails or asks to your blog, and they won't be able to see your blog’s posts in their Dashboard. In addition to that, neither will they be able to like, reblog, or reply to your posts, and your blog won’t show up in their search results. It's a really good option.

They'll still be able to read your posts if they somehow come across them, but they can't interact/reblog them- at all. The only way people would even know you've blocked them is if they find that they get denied permission to interact with your blog- but remember, the chances of the finding out that youve blocked them is VERY slim, if it even happens at all (though remember we're talking about bots here though, not actual people, I just thought it would be useful information to include anyway).

Alright, so now onto reporting someone. Reporting someone means that:

The account will receive an email stating that they've posted banned content and must take it down. Tumblr will then still automatically take it down, and the account either gets suspended or deleted.

I would say that reporting the s*x bots would be the best thing you can do in this situation (you can still block them afterwards), seeing as the account will hopefully then be taken down (instead of just blocked on your blog) after being reviewed, which could help keep Tumblr at least a little safer once it does.

And just in case you were wondering: no-one will know if you've reported their account. The only way they'll know they've been reported (and they won't know who reported them) is if their content gets taken down or if their account is deleted- so don't worry about people accusing you of reporting them, as Tumblr keeps it anonymous anyway.

(Again, I've only added that part as useful information, seeing as s*x bots aren't real people and therefore won't care if they've been blocked or reported.)

I'm just fed up of seeing them everywhere and them making me think I've got a new follower who's actually interested in the blogs I make, when it's actually just a not trying to take me to some random p*rn website. It's wrong. So I just decided to write about my frustrations.
