I Sure Hope this work guy wants to go to an exhibition as friends and not as a date
#He's the neoliberal coworker l had a nightmare about last year#He's surprisingly easy to talk to despite his politics - but so are all my coworkers#The funny thing is he kind of looks like an alternative younger version of my senior colleague - bald bearded wide-shouldered and calm#But short (like almost my exact height) and European instead of tall robust and half-European#Which aren't that big of similarities but the superficial traits are there#The most surprising thing about my senior colleague is that he's half (?) Filipino on his mom's side but I'm not entirely sure#Because he also talked about his dad being a Spaniard who met his mom in the Philippines and I have no idea#If he meant that his mom is Filipina or that she was a Spaniard with family arriving from the colonial Philippines#Made all the more confusing by me wondering if he shared that anecdote to Become More Relatable To My Ethnicness#And him seemingly only knowing the language in our country but neither of his mother tongues#I don't know what made him word it so vaguely but the unclarity Remains on my side
