orionâs main dance, lead rap, & center junghoon
dosâs main dance, main rap, & center mobius entertainment; acting, variety 10 vocal / 20 rap / 30 dance
always the free spirit with a sharp tongue and a sharp mind to match, junghoon lived a fairly decent life his first few years on the earth. born on an american military base in south korea to two loving, caring parents, he was raised to be strong and independent. both of his parents being the new age type who pushed him to break the norm of what was expected to go above and beyond. they never treated him like something fragile that could be broken, and he loved that. he appreciated the tough love he was given. without it, he wouldnât have been able to find the confidence to be himself.
his plans for the future were quite simple. while he respected the military and the shoulders, that wasnât something that he could see himself doing for the rest of his life. deep within his heart, he knew what he wanted to do - he wanted to dance. it had been something that he had always wanted to do. the dance studio near the military base he lived on was his outlet. he begged and pleaded with his parents to allow him to take part in it, and after months of asking, they finally relented. they knew that he wouldnât stop asking until he got what he wanted, him being the stubborn little boy that he was. he was eleven years old when he joined the childrenâs branch of the dance studio.
that was also around the time that life decided to flip the script on him and bite him on the ass.
rain, something that junghoon once loved dearly, is now something that he canât stand the sight of. the reason that he canât stand it is because it was raining the day that he found out that his father had been diagnosed with cancer. it was one of the most depressing days of his life. he didnât know how to process the information he had just received. what was worse? his parents had known for over a year about his diagnosis and they didnât want to tell him about it. they wanted to keep him in the dark to âprotect himâ as they put it. they only decided to tell him when his father was too far gone and the chemotherapy treatments had stopped working. he was on a countdown to his final days and junghoonâs world was falling apart.
when his father did pass away not even six months later, he couldnât help but resent both of his parents. they had hid something so crucial and important, and he wished he had known sooner. maybe if he had known sooner, he would have been more prepared for what was to come. to add insult to injury, his mother was being called into active duty not even a year later. even though she didnât have enough time to properly grieve, she had to go serve her country.
he was placed in the care of his parentsâ closest friends because they didnât have any family members of their own. but they lived in south korea, so he had to pack up what was left of his life and move to gangnam when he was thirteen years old.
for a while, he decided to put his dreams of being a dancer to rest. he couldnât find the motivation to do so anymore, especially after the death of his father. he was one half of his support system, his core strength, and without him he felt empty. he could survive, but he didnât want to. not without him. it took his then guardians months to convince him to wake up and to reignite his passion once again. they had to remind him that his mother and father wouldnât want him to give up on his dream, and that they would be so proud of him if he were to make it big like he always planned to.
so with that in mind, he started dancing again. when he was sixteen, he began auditioning for companies. most of the companies he auditioned for slammed their doors in his face, but he was determined. there were plenty of companies in korea for him to choose from, and he wouldnât stop until he found one. even though he had to balance his schooling along with his search for a company, he never gave up despite at times being exhausted.
funnily enough, the company that would be his home for the next near decade wasnât one that he went to; it was one that came to him.
the mundane task of eating tteok-bokki at a convenience store was the beginning of his journey to becoming an idol. he hadnât been expecting to have someone approach him with the offer of being an idol. an up and coming company had just started up, and they were looking for fresh faces for their flagship boy group. the offer had been appealing, very tempting to say the least. so without much thought, a young and naive seventeen year old junghoon accepted the offer.
he quickly found out that being an idol was a lot more work than he thought it would be. he wasnât the best singer, which he knew, but his dancing skills were some of the best of the dozen or so male trainees that were in the running for debuting. which was to be expected. since he wasnât the best singer, they put him through intensive training to be a rapper, something he hadnât really considered doing before. by the time the several months long process ended, junghoon was gifted with the positions of main dancer and lead rapper.
being met with a decent amount of success from their debut, junghoon was happy. he was glad that he had listened to the people in his life and that he hadnât given up his dream. he knew that his father would be proud of him, and his mother told him how proud of him she was whenever they found the time to talk on the phone with one another. 2012 rolled around and he was chosen to be one of two members for the subunit mobius was putting together. it was hard work trying to balance both orion and dos, but he had always enjoyed a challenge, and he had never been one to give up easily, his past had taught him that.
with 2013 came a long hiatus for the entire group, mostly due to military enlistment. since he and the other member of dos were of the youngest in the group, they could continue promoting while the other went off and did their enlistment. it was also during that time that junghoon was given different opportunities to branch out into, such as acting, modeling and variety. he ended up finding a small niche in the acting community, small acting roles here and there before finally building up to something bigger in 2016, right before orion was scheduled for a comeback as an entire group. he hadnât been on stage with the entirety of his group for years, so that particular comeback was something that he was looking forward to and enjoyed promoting with them.
with almost a decade as an idol under his belt, junghoon knows that soon enough, both orion and dos will be old news. with the sudden surge of new acts in the industry, itâs only a matter of time before they lose even more popularity. it was a tough pill to swallow, still is, but heâs made peace with it; for the most part. a part of him is still bitter that all of it seemed to have gone away in a blink of an eye, and heâs trying his best to milk the last bit of fame they have before settling into another niche, whether that be full time acting, modeling or variety.

Do you think you could do RFA + V and Saeran (if you want) reacting to MC coming home from being in the military? Not just army branch though if you can.
Disclaimer: I have no fucking clueabout the military. That beingsaid I had to drill my friend whoâs an army-wife for info about howthis shit works. I also tried to research what Korean people thinkabout female soldiers and apparently there is quite a bit of sexismgoing on.Hope you enjoy!Masterlist

Zen
⏠when youâd told him about joiningthe Navy Zen hadnât been happy⏠for one he didnât see why women had to join the army in the first place⏠they were far too delicate for such hard, dangerous work⏠youâd reminded him that being a Electronics Technician (Submarine) was not dangerous⏠your tasks as an ET basically involved sending and receiving messages most of the time⏠sometimes there were also tracking, detection and identification tasks involved⏠at least you didnât have to shoot anyone, so you were fine⏠knowing that, heâd let you go, albeit begrudgingly⏠he also cursed the fact he couldnât come with you, because you werenât married⏠when you were deployed the first time to some goddamn, secret coast Zen had been unhappy⏠not knowing what exactly was going on made him nervous and scared⏠not to mention that letters just werenât cutting it⏠so, when you finally wrote you were coming back heâd been bouncing off the walls with joy⏠heâd finally get to hold you again, kiss you again, make love to you again⏠instead of waiting at the airport he decided to wait at home⏠that way your first meeting in months could be more private⏠heâd cooked for your, put on nice music as well as covered the apartment in flowers and candles⏠when you got home he was wearing nothing but an apron⏠needless to say that after months spent in dark, gloomy rooms coming home to that was nice⏠actually, it was much more than nice⏠it was so nice that the second your lips touched the food and everything else was forgotten⏠you didnât leave the bed for two days straight
Yoosung
â
he was kinda impressed when youtold him about joining the armyâ
he was far too chicken to even consider it, let alone survive the first stages of trainingâ
of course that was before he researched what exactly an Infantry Soldier didâ
closing with and engaging the enemy?â
so you were basically the first in line to die?!â
he begged you not to go, every single day until it was too lateâ
when you got deployed he cried almost every nightâ
his over-active imagination didnât help either, giving him nightmares more times than notâ
you wrote as often was you could, still every day without a letter made him more anxiousâ
it got even worse when he got the call from the army military announcing that youâd been injuredâ
no matter how much they tried to calm him, promising to do their best, it didnât help at allâ
knowing that you were hurt and there was nothing he could do to help you killed himâ
his general unease got worse when weeks passed and you were neither fighting nor dischargedâ
it was about a month after he first heard of your injury that they told him youâd be coming homeâ
apparently youâd hot shot in the shoulder and developed a tremor that made it impossible to shootâ
knowing that ruined even your discharged for Yoosungâ
still, at least you could never go back and get hurt againâ
he picked you up from the airport, a big sign with your name on it, chocolate and flowers in towâ
you looked broken when he first saw you, but then you smiled at him and his worries melted awayâ
he ran towards you, dropping the flowers in favour of hugging you closeâ
he was tempted to carry you to the car but decided showed his devotion at home in privateâ
after that he pampered you, saying that youâd served the country so now he would serve you
Jaehee
⨠when you told Jaehee that you wanted to join the army sheâd felt a lot of things at once⨠in fact, sheâd kind of frozen up from being overwhelmed by the sudden input⨠she was sad about you leaving her, confused as you had an education and a job and frightened⨠you wanted to join the military? risk your life? and for what?⨠she didnât understand and so you explained about how this country had offered you so much⨠you just thought it was time to give some of those favours back⨠Jaehee wasnât happy, but she knew of your determination and there was no stopping you⨠when you announced that on top of everything you wanted to join the Marine Corps you fought⨠out of all the branches you could have picked it just had to be the most hard-ass one, didnât it?⨠it was the first fight that ended unresolved, Jaehee crying herself to sleep while you lay awake⨠the fact that you wanted to be a Field Artillery Cannoneer only seemed to make matters worse⨠sure, you werenât technically running around on the field with a target on your back but still⨠handling the big guns â quite literally â was just as unsettling⨠right after you left Jaehee started obsessing over the military, meticulously researching everything⨠she was worried that the men would hurt or mock you⨠she expressed as much in her daily letters to you, but you always brushed it off⨠in fact, you wrote that you were being promoted to officer⨠at least that meant you were a little safer⨠when you came home you werenât a broken shell like Jaehee had feared⨠instead you merely lifted her up, spun her around and kissed her right at the airport⨠usually Jaehee would have been scared to do so on public, but not then⨠you were finally back home and she would do everything humanly possible to keep you there
Jumin
â he absolutely detested the idea ofyou joining the military for a multitude of reasonsâ 1) dangerous 2) separation 3) poorpay 4) publicâs opinion 5) very unfeminine 6) separationâ youâd merely rolled your eyes athim and proceeded to reason with that stubborn manâ for one, you would be working as aso called Judge Advocate Officerâ basically a military lawyer with nochance of getting killed or having the public bad mouth youâ the pay also wasnât half as bad andneither way the job any more unfeminine than your usual jobâ not to mention that after doingyour service they couldnât force deploy you, which was the keyâ of course there was very little youcould do about the separationâ luckily, Jumin could as the mantended to have his hands in all sorts of businessesâ not only did he manage to keep youin Korea, he also got the right to visit you whenever he wantedâ of course with your work and histhat was only once a week, but stillâ funnily enough the public was verysupportive tooâ Jumin Hanâs amazing wife servingour countryâ neither of you dared to tell themthat the only people you served were each otherâ by the time you were finallydischarged both of you were happy, as well as your respective parentsâ your father loved that youâdfollowed in his steps while Mr. Han was amazing at your strengthâ meanwhile Jumin and you wereoverjoyed with the fact that you could share a bed againâ in fact heâd been so impatient heâdpicked you up with his helicopterâ heâd then proceeded to take you toyour favourite restaurantâ followed by a spa visit to welcomeyou back into the life of luxuryâ he also made it a point to show youjust how much heâd missed you during those lonely nightsâ four times in a row, to be preciseÂ
Saeyoung/Seven
âź when youâd suggested joining themilitary heâd been surprised, but not opposed to itâź you werenât really the strong orviolent type, but he knew that there were other jobs as wellâź you were just glad that he didnâtstart some sort of drama, reallyâź he did, however, sit you down toask why exactly youâd suddenly decided to join the militaryâź you explained that you had noambitions or goals but couldnât afford finding yourself in Collegeâź the military, however, was for freeand offered to pay tuition as wellâź he did offer to teach you whateveryou wanted, but understood why you chose this pathâź he was also relieved to find outthat you wanted to join the Coast Guard as a Boatswainâs Mateâź the branch was small and usuallythe laughing stock of the ârealâ soldiersâź while he hoped that no one wouldmake fun of you he was glad youâd be safe at leastâź when he sent you off Saeyoung wassurprisingly calm and not clingy â it should have tipped you offâź heâd bugged basically all yourclothing and other things youâd taken alongâź he also used satellites to trackevery last move you madeâź so while you didnât get to see himfor months, he still saw you dailyâź it also explained why he hadnâtcried about sending you awayâź or why he didnât rejoice as hepicked you up from the airport after your serviceâź it was only when he was strangelyquiet during the car ride home that things clicked in your headâź out of the blue you cursed him totell and he started to laughâź youâd asked him for just a littletrust and privacy to find yourself and heâd gone and spied on you!âź you ignored him for about an hoursuntil he came crawling on his kneesâź it was such a pretty sight, really, and his lips felt so good against your neckâź you eventually decided to forgivehimâŚafter you made him work for it for a couple of hours
