I'm sorry but are we really bringing up the 'why didn't geo and bonzle recognize the ninja" thing again, I thought it was already self-explanatory enough??????????
also how in the WORLD does it imply that in all those years, cole did not tell the finders shit abt the ninja...people CAN be told about others a million times and still not recognize them when they see them, ESPECIALLY if they haven't seen a photo of them, which is pretty much the finders' case here. I have been told about family members by my parents more than 100 times and I still don't recognize them when I see them until I'm told who they are, and that happens especially when I've never seen them before. scratch that, I sometimes don't even recognize family members I already KNOW, and why is that? because I haven't seen them in a while!! now just imagine the finders' situation!!!
and it actually makes alot of sense bonzle didn't recognize jay because he's literally on the enemies side, of course she wouldn't think that's the 'jay' cole would tell her and the finders about (AND before anyone goes 'erm actually' on the powers bit, one of our theories for s2pt2 is that nya wouldn't recognize jay under the mask and thinking he's a new person with his powers, why doesn't that logic also apply to bonzle w/ jay??)
and in such a stressing situation with ALOT to focus on, including her life that's literally in danger, of course bonzle didn't tell cole and zane about her seeing him at the mysterium monastery, it was the least of her worries lets be fr rn (plus, it was literally confirmed by doc himself that bonzle didn't recognize jay, so this whole discussion was over from the start)

Hello! Welcome to the Blue and Violet Ask Blog!
As you might have guessed, this is an ask blog where you can ask the Mayor (Blue) and Macaque (Violet) from LMK questions! However, before anything else, there are a few things that you need to know.
General Things:
First things first, if you are not aware already, this blog is not based 'completely' on LMK canon! Instead, it is directly based and linked to the Blue and Violet Fanfiction series on AO3. Written by yours truly, me (haha!). Link to the fic series is in the bio/under the header. If you want to ask questions, please make sure you are up to date with all the chapters in ALL the fics in the series. (Also by the way YES THIS IS SHADOWPUPPET >:DDDD. If you don't like it and have a desire to assert your opinion regarding that? Then please, I kindly ask that you do not interact with this blog for your sake, my sake, and for the sake of everyone else who might want to enjoy this. Thank you :))).)
What this means is that the only things that Macaque and Mayor have experienced is within the context of this fanfiction series (which contains lots of establishment of how they know each other and their perspectives during seasons 1-3). Therefore, you definitely cannot ask these two about season four related things, because it hasn't happened to them yet!
Due to this, this blog will follow the timeline and events of what happens in the newest instalment of the series, 'Winter Mornings, Summer Nights' (previously, it was 'Colours'). After every chapter is posted, you will be able to ask Macaque and Mayor questions relating to what had happened to them in that chapter or any events prior in the fic series.
IMPORTANT: Whatever happens in this ask blog is NOT canon to the fic series. However, what happens in the fic series directly affects this blog. This means that nothing you ask or say on this blog will affect the Blue and Violet storyline.
Rules (or just... things to remember?) Regarding Asks:
I think I will be able to answer every question that you all submit. However, if I find a question too offensive, too uncomfortable, too strange (meaning I just don't understand it :'D) or something that will potentially spoil the future events of the fic series, then I will have to unfortunately ignore the ask. Either that, or I simply answer the ask with a silly picture of some sorts. On that note, please don't ask any character or me what will happen next! They probably don't know either! You'll all just have to wait and see ;D.
You can ask both Macaque and Mayor any questions you desire. However, I would highly recommend with each chapter posted, we stick to asking questions to whomever the new chapter's POV is in!
Also, if you wanted, you could also ask side characters any questions you wanted! Like Baihe, or any one of my OC's for Mayor's side of the story. But, keep in mind that this is technically a Shadowpuppet ask blog XDDD thus, they should be the main focus.
Not only can you ask the characters questions, but you can also just ask me questions about the series in general? Or just... Say something I guess? I've had people do that on my main blog, and it always makes me happy to see that people like what I am writing!
I will be honest, I am not expecting many asks to come to this blog. But, on the off chance I am overloaded with asks, please know that I can only work so fast! If it really does get too much I will temporarily shut the ask box, but I will make sure that every ask is answered to the best of my ability (Update: I look back on this statement and I realise oh how so very naive I had been)!
IMPORTANT: As of right now, it seems I should be able to answer one-two questions per day (although it could be less frequent due to potential circumstances in the future) so keep that in mind!
After experimenting with the ask box I have decided that the box will be open for 24 hours whenever it opens! This is just so that people from different time zones can like, have an equal chance to get something in if they want, haha. No cap limit on the box for now, just go wild!

I have spent the last hours trying to see if there were any active ace discourse blogs and thier isn't any left so fuck yeah they are fucking gone and i am kinda worried that they may come back
...Honestly yeah the fact that I can even draw about being asexual and have people like that content, let alone let it be without hate, is pretty telling. Times have changed for the better.
Aphobia's never fully gone though, I still get a fair bit of anon hate asks/DMs that range from de*th threats to your average trying-to-invalidate comment, but... They're hiding behind anon, which sometimes is necessary for a person's safety, but also overall is pretty telling too.
But yeah for real let's hope that keeps going in the right direction. We've been through and continue to go through enough invalidating bullshit as is.

As a armin arlert lover, thoughts on floch?
Hi, Anon!
It took me like a full five minutes to understand why the question was phrased like this. Like Floch has done so much since that ceremony scene, I forgot he had said all these horrible things to Armin.
This got long so I'm putting it under the cut.
Frankly, I think he's a good character, not in moral terms, but in the sense that he fulfills the role of the antagonist quite nicely. I obviously don't like him as a person, but I understand his function within the story, and I think his arc was fairly well-executed (unlike other antagonists like Yelena imho).
Isayama is in this continual conversation with the ideals of authoritarian states and what can make them appealing to vulnerable individuals that I find very interesting. And this is perfectly captured in the character of Floch. Not only because of his past trauma and survivor's guilt, which absolutely make him the perfect candidate for radicalization, but also because he wasn't the most moral of guys to begin with.
Floch joins the Survey Corps at what is arguably their all time high point. For the first time in a hundred years, they've got a series of relative wins: Eren's Titan, capturing Annie, figuring out who the infiltrators were, finding out the truth about their world, deposing the king etc. Morale is at its peak. So inevitably we meet a series of characters who join in because they believe in the propaganda and, sure, may have a renewed conviction for the actual cause, but still don't get what the job entails. I mean, look at this (not so) sweet summer child:
And the thing is: this is not a bad thing in and of itself. After all, we see Marlow do the same. But unlike Marlow, who was a guy that cared about his fellow man and was generally very anti-corruption from the start and competent to boot, Floch has an inferiority complex the size of Paradis. This is literally how he gets reintroduced to the story (I don't remember if he was seen earlier, but even if he was this is his first substantial appearance):
(please ignore Jean's majestic jawline and focus on the speech bubbles)
He's practically screaming "Jean, Jean, validate my existence, please!!"
So we know he is a guy with low self-esteem, who is also not particularly concerned with ethics outside of some juvenile idea of "winning," on top of that you add a horrific traumatic event and... well, Erwin.
Erwin is a character who uses unsavory means to inspire others to fight for him. Yes, he ultimately has an honorable purpose in mind, but he is also exploiting the very same weaknesses in people's characters to serve his ends. He is a demagogue and the story is not shy in telling you about it. (I'm too lazy to cite my sources, but, like, the first time we really see him, he creates tension to manipulate the result of a trial, so...).
(nvm I found some while looking for something else)
Floch is actually the character who expresses doubt when he is faced with Erwin's final order:
And how Erwin convinces him?
"That's absolutely right. It doesn't make a single difference. No matter what dreams or hopes you may have, no matter what blissful life you've lived until now, what happens when your body gets crushed by a rock is the same. Everyone dies sooner or later. Does that mean all life is meaningless? Was the fact that you were ever born meaningless from the start? Would you say the same of your dead comrades? Were those soldiers' lives meaningless?
No, they weren't! And our fight gives meaning to those soldiers' lives! Those brave fallen men and women! Those poor fallen men and women! The only ones who can remember them are us the living! So we will die here and trust the meaning of our lives to the next generation!"
Like, the man went all out! The "everyone is a hero" and the cult of death is literally one of the points Uberto Eco brings up in his essay Ur-Fascism. I'm not saying Erwin is necessarily a fascist, but he needed to convince these soldiers to die ASAP so he used the fastest route possible: fascist rhetoric.
And then he went and committed to the bit!! He actually sacrificed himself and everyone around him and the plan worked!!!
So now a weak-minded, traumatized Floch has been presented with the ULTIMATE piece of propaganda, what is he meant to do?? Not believe it? And accept that he went through all this for nothing? Please!
I can absolutely see how a guy like Floch would end up the way he did, and that's why I think he is an interesting character and a compelling antagonist.
