A fresco "Trionfo della Morte" (Triumph of Death) made by Giacomo Borlone de Buschis in 1485.
Inspiration for MARDUK - Rom 5:12
The album title refers to a verse in the Bible, Romans Chapter 5, Verse 12:
"Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death throught sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned."

22 with Tina and Jimmy Jr.?
22- Write about a member of your ship giving the other a special gift.
Tina slid down the booth, groaning loudly. She didn’t mean to make such a spectacle of herself, though it does tend to get results in terms of someone asking:
“What’s wrong, T?”
“It’s just,” Tina tried to talk, though her head was angled into her chest and it made it kind of hard. But she was dedicated to the slouch now, “I didn’t raise enough money for the Boyz 4 Now concert… The last wave of sales are this afternoon.”
“What – you didn’t – Gene, what’s in your pockets!” Louise shook her brother, feeling uncharacteristically panicked. She cleared her throat when she realised how worried she sounded, getting back to her seated position.
Gene turned his pockets inside out, “Lint, a chicken popper from lunch – MINE! – and two cents.”
“There – how much does that put you to now?!”
“Uhm, 25.02…” Tina covered her face, nails dragging down and messing up her glasses, “I got nothing! Ugh, and they’re starting their tour now so I won’t get another chance to see them live for at least a year.” Louise grumbled, head in her heads, only making a face when she realised Gene was eating said chicken popper.
“I’m sorry Tina, honey.” Linda walked over, “Your pocket money would be more, but we gotta keep some money back to pay for the caterpillar tube.”
“Capillary tube, Linda.”
“What’d I say?”
The door opening distracted them all, and Tina peered over the booth – the only thing forcing her to actually sit up was the fact it was Jimmy. “Oh, hey.”
“Hey Tina, are you buschy?” he glanced at the whole Belcher family being there, though he supposed he could have picked a better time than the close. But if he didn’t do it now, he’d need to do it at school, and Gene and Louise would still be there. At any time, she had a Belcher glued to her – so Hell, might as well talk to her while everyone is here.
“Uhm, no.” she stood up, ignoring Bob’s warning ‘hmm’. “What’s up?”
“Okay, well, uhm,” he looked at Linda and Bob, who were both staring. When Jimmy looked, Linda suddenly looked up at the ceiling, and Bob looked back down at the grill as he cleaned. He cleared his throat, offering Tina an envelope, “I got a prethent for you.”
“Oh wow, isn’t it your birthday?” Tina took the envelope anyway, clinging to it - a gift from Jimmy was to be cherished, “This isn’t usually how it works. But I definitely have a present for you. But it’s uhm, upstairs, and not wrapped, so I can’t show you it until tomorrow. Or maybe Monday, ‘cause you know, I don’t really have the right wrapping paper-”
“Tina, Tina. Tina.” Jimmy interrupted, getting louder with every word. He ignored the fact it was obvious she hadn’t gotten him a birthday present (he didn’t actually care. His birthday was okay, but awkward. His dad didn’t really try, but somehow still got Jimmy on his birthday, meanwhile his mom had put out all the stops last weekend when he was over). Hanging out with her and Zeke would be good enough. “It’th not about my birthday. Well, it kinda ith. My mom uuh, got me ticketth…”
Tina’s eyebrows met, and she opened the envelope, staring at the shiny tickets for Boyz 4 Now. Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God!!! “Ha, ha, ha! Ha,” Tina tried to breathe, “You got me Boyz for Now tickets?! How! The sale started today – I mean, well, the last wave,”
“My mom got them ageth ago.” Jimmy smiled at her confused delight, scratching his cheek, “I didn’t really want anything, so I athked for ticketth.”
“How’d you know I wouldn’t be able to get any?” Tina wasn’t trying to find loopholes – but the hypothetical of Jimmy wasting his mom’s money in case she had gotten tickets stressed her out a little. Jimmy didn’t really reply, instead his face crumpled. How on Earth was Tina Belcher going to raise money for at least one ticket when all she did was rake leaves and the odd paper route.
“Mom look!” Tina walked over to the counter, showing Linda the tickets – who ‘oooh’ed appropriately, though she wasn’t too thrilled that it was Jimmy that did it. Though she had to admit, it was a very, very sweet gesture for her daughter. That won him some brownie points.
“Yeah, yippee, okay, good for you!” Louise couldn’t help her outburst, rubbing the menu a little harder than necessary, “If we don’t need to get more than say, one ticket, could we get any, mom? So that I can you know, chaperone these kids.” She thumbed at Jimmy and Tina.
“Still no, sorry honey.”
Jimmy took the envelope from Tina and then took out the tickets, “I got you one too, Louithe.” He spread them apart, showing indeed that there were three. Louise pursed her lips, unintentionally letting out a squeak, before pulling on the strings of her hat.
“Okay, cool.” She managed, “Now get outta here you scamps, why don’t you enjoy the rest of your night – and I can look after those, uh, tickets,” she began to crawl across the table, but Jimmy snatched them away, giving them back to Tina.
“Can we go get some ice cream, mom?” Tina looked over. Linda rolled her eyes, hands on her hips.
“Okay, sure, but if you don’t eat your dinner, I’m cutting those tickets up! Haha, oh, I’m kidding – geez look at your faces.”
“Boyz 4 Now is no joke.” Louise glowered, “For uh, Tina.”
“Thankth Mrth B!”
“Be back soon!” Tina walked out with almost a skip in her step, taking Jimmy’s hand as they head down the street.
“Good kid.” Bob murmured. Linda tutted, getting back to her work only after she couldn’t see the pair anymore.

Among those asked to undergo the voluntary DNA tests were young men who frequented a disco called Le Sabbie Mobili (Quick Sand) near the field where the dead girl's body was found. These included Damiano Guerinoni whose DNA was very similar to that of the killer, who was by now nicknamed by police "Ignoto Uno" (Unknown One). This young man was unquestionably a close relative of the killer. Ironically, his mother, Aurora Zanni, had even worked for several years as a daily help for the dead girl's family. So police began to investigate his family. His father is one of 11 brothers and sisters. It was via this route that they arrived at the dead bus driver - one of his uncles - Giuseppe Guerinoni.
In September 2012 they went to the house of his widow, Laura Poli, in another small town near Bergamo called Clusone - 30 km northeast of Brembate di Sopra, in the foothills of the Alps. Clusone boasts one of the most impressive surviving external medieval murals: "The Triumph of Death" executed in 1485 by Giacomo Borlone de Buschis. Its inscription declares: Non e omo cosi forte, che da mi non po' schapare (No man exists strong enough to be able to escape from me.)
It was in Clusone - nearly two years after Yara's disappearance - that they made their first breakthrough. "Finding the marca da bollo on the driving license in the house of the bus driver's widow was a significant step forward," says Lieutenant Colonel La Russo. "It connected the killer with a real person at last - even if he was dead."
Giuseppe Guerinoni, who had died in 1999 aged 61 had three children with his wife who were quickly excluded as suspects. He was "a strong man able to live each day in symphony with his vital spirit," an old friend Antonio Negroni would later tell the press. It was clear, then, that he must also have had a child - a male child - out of wedlock and that this child was the killer.
Guerinoni's widow was no help. She was in the dark about her dead husband's extra-marital activities and, like all the major protagonists in this saga, she has declined to talk to the media. There was a total absence of old-fashioned clues as to the identity of the murderer; the only way to catch him was via modern science. The police reconstructed a biography of Guerinoni's private life and of every single woman he had ever known.
The magistrate on duty was Letizia Ruggeri, 45, a tough former policewoman, now Chief Investigator, who had earned her stripes fighting the Cosa Nostra in Sicily. Ruggeri's team searched orphanages and homes for "fallen women." They tested single mothers and women who had left the mountains for lower Bergamo. They came up empty-handed. The woman they were looking for, they realized, was probably neither single nor "fallen," but hidden behind the walls of a marriage. Divorce was only legalized in Italy in 1970 - until that time many couples had stayed together despite infidelities.
"We were met by a wall of silence, the kind of omerta that you associate not with the north of Italy but with Sicily and the mafia, but in the end we got there by means of patient, painstaking legwork," says La Russo.
It proved especially difficult for investigators to penetrate the mountain villages - Ponte Selva, Parre, Clusone and Rovetta - where they were looking for clues and leads. Some Italian journalists spoke of the "cocciutaggine," or pig-headedness, of the Bergamo Alps - a caricature which only served to antagonize the already defensive locals. "The people here," says Piero Bonicelli, the editor of Araberara, "were irritated by the stereotype of highlanders closed in on themselves. The word 'omerta' was even used, which implies [the silence of] Sicily and the mafia. It was deeply offensive."
This wariness towards outsiders owes much to the region's history. The city has always been a strategically important citadel, one of the last redoubts before the flat, fertile basin of the river Po. The Bergamaschi are used to seeing off invasions. Just a few miles west of Brembate di Sopra is a small town called Pontida, where in 1167 the Lombard League - the alliance of northern Italian cities which joined together to resist the German Holy Roman emperor, Frederick I - was formed. The Oath of Pontida still exerts a symbolic power today. It's frequently evoked by the separatists of the Northern League to rally sentiment against outsiders: against the perceived indolence and corruption of southern Italy or, more commonly now, against immigrants from developing nations.
Bergamo is also much closer to Switzerland than Naples, so the Bergamaschi are more generally reserved. "It's in the spirit of mountain people to disdain gossip and not to repeat nonsense," says Bonicelli. Bonicelli, a fan of the fictional detectives Maigret and Montalbano, also says, though, that the investigation was "lacking the traditional, human element: the sort of person who goes into a bar in the village...and puts someone at ease so that something slips out." Locals felt there was something cold about this investigation, with its invasive demands for DNA samples. And it was changing the atmosphere in these small communities. People thought, says Bonicelli, "that the murderer was here, amongst us. So there was a sort of - not panic, but fear."
The setting was part of what had fascinated the Italian public about Yara's disappearance. The province of Bergamo seemed to represent two different sides of the country. Where Lower Bergamo, towards the plains, is fashionable, well-connected and industrialized, Alpine Bergamo is agricultural, remote and deeply traditional, a close-knit place which nurtures suspicion, even superstition. Some locals talk, without irony, of this being a land of streghe, of witches, who steal or poison young children.
They located a former colleague of the bus driver, Vincenzo Bigoni, who told them: "Yes, he was a ladies' man and lots of young women traveled on his bus to and from work. One, at least, he got into trouble." But he was either unable or unwilling to reveal to police the name of that woman. He now risks prosecution for 'false testimony,' which is a crime in Italy as there is no right to silence there.
The police tracked down the woman from her DNA. Police identified 532 who the dead bus driver had known in his life with whom he could have had sexual relations and who were still alive. They DNA tested them all.
These women included Ester Arzuffi, now 67. Like all the other women identified by the police as women that knew Guerinoni, she consented to a DNA test without protest. Her DNA was a perfect match for that found on the dead girl - perfect in the sense that she is the mother of the killer, or so the investigators believed. "She has the female part of the DNA of Ignoto Uno," explains Portera.
Arzuffi had been a neighbor of Guerinoni's in Ponte Selva in the late 1960's. In 1966, aged 19, she had married Giovanni Bossetti, from Parre, a nearby village. Bossetti was a man whose tough life had turned him inwards: he had been orphaned young and suffered from psoriasis, arthrosis and depression. Arzuffi seemed very different: an outgoing, good-looking woman, she wore short skirts and dyed her hair. She got a job at the textile factory a few miles away in Villa d'Ogna, and took the bus every day. Arzuffi had left Ponte Selva in 1970, but continued the affair with Guerinoni, giving birth to twins.
Arzuffi has been married to the same man - Giovanni Bossetti - since 1967 when she was 19 years old. These days she and her husband also live in Brembate di Sopre. The couple have three children: two twins (a boy and a girl) born in 1970 - Massimo Giuseppe and Laura Laetizia - and a younger son - Fabio. The father of all three, everyone assumed, was her husband.
But the DNA tests revealed that the father of her twins is not her husband, but the dead bus driver Guerinoni. In other words, her eldest son - Massimo Giuseppe Bossetti - stood accused of being the killer. (Through leaks in the investigation, it was also discovered that Fabio had a different father too).
The police soon arrived at Bossetti, an apparently happily married 43-year-old carpenter who has three children aged 13, 10 and 7, and whose only quirk seemed to be a passion for sun lamp massage parlours.
One Sunday evening in June 2014, the police set up a roadblock near Bossetti's home in Mapello, a village a few kilometers from Brembate di Sopra, and flagged down his car. He was with his wife and three children. They breathalysed him, and he passed, so they let him proceed. But they now had his DNA on the breathalyser tube which they swiftly sent off to the lab for analysis.
There was a match between the DNA on the breathalyser and the DNA found on the girl's clothing. To be precise it showed 21 compatible markers (16 to 17 are normally considered enough). This means that the police, and their forensic experts are almost completely sure that he is the killer. He also has blue eyes, which the DNA found on the dead girl reveals her killer has. Bossetti had also passed through Brembate di Sopra the night of the murder on his way home from work.
A white Iveco truck, similar to his, was filmed by security cameras at the Shell petrol station opposite the gym in Brembate di Sopra at around 6pm and 10 minutes later by the video cameras of the Banca Credito Cooperativo near the girl's home. Bossetti went to the town frequently though to see his brother and his accountant, and had passed through it that night, he says, to avoid heavy traffic on the more direct route.
A few days later, the police arrested Bossetti at the building site where he worked. Bossetti's mother, Arzuffi, has spoken only once to the media - to the Corriere della Sera - when she denied having an affair with the bus driver but admitted that she had known him as a young woman.
Investigators discovered plenty of circumstantial evidence. Bossetti had frequently hung around Yara's house; he parked his car in Via Don Sala, behind the gym, and ate at the Toscanaccia pizzeria at the end of her road. He had gone for regular UV showers at a tanning shop nearby. His internet searches were troubling, using search words which implied a compulsion for pubescent young girls.
Meanwhile, three families dealt with devastation from the case. Guerinoni's widow has been forced, in the autumn of her life, to come to terms with her husband's infidelity and the existence of his other children. Meanwhile, just as he was diagnosed with terminal cancer, Giovanni Bossetti became the nation's most famous cuckold, learning at the same time as the rest of the country that none of his three children are his.
The marriage of the accused, Massimo Bossetti, had also come under strain: since his defense sought to portray him as a family man, two people came forward to claim that they had affairs with his wife. Bossetti's twin sister also had to come to terms with both her brother's fate and the fact that the man she thought was her father is not biologically related to her. Her mother, Ester Arzuffi, still denies she's ever been unfaithful to her husband.

Winter Wonderklok Day 3:
❄️Hot Tub in the Snow❄️
Light Turderface spice If you squint
·͙*̩̩͙˚̩̥̩̥*̩̩̥͙ ✩ *̩̩̥͙˚̩̥̩̥*̩̩͙‧͙
"You cannot be serious."
A groan was heard from Murderface as Toril squeezed her middle and index fingers between the bridge of her Greek shaped nose, the couple shivering under the elements as snow continuesly fell around them, making small halos of white in their hair.
"When did you even have this put in?"
"Lascht night, while you and Charles were buschy working."
He tried to make it sound as though Toril and Charles work, which was undoubtedly what was keeping Williams (as well as the rest of Dethkloks) career afloat, was somehow inferior to the work he hadn't even done: installing a hottub outside of one of the few ground level exists nearing his basement level room. It did provide a decent view, Toril had to admit, with a scenic view of the snow-covered hills surrounding Mordhaus, as well as an unclouded view of the star littered sky. It was very nearly breathtaking, and Toril could only assume William had intended the view for all but himself.
"I figured, y'know' it being the holiday scheason and whacht-not, why not warm up by takching a schkinny dip in our very own tchub?"
"Maybe because hots tubs are meant to be inside? Where no one-especially not Tonje- can have a clear view?"
William forced out a laugh at the rather valid complaint of his rather new girlfriend, and proceeded to tear off his shirt and vest.
"You worry tchoo much."
Though she had seen his bare chest many times prior, this had been the first time she'd been alone with the bassist in a setting such as this, somehow closed off from outside eyes yet open for anyone to find, Toril found it difficult to disguise the blush which accumulated at the sudden intimacy of her current position; as well as the sight of Williams chest under the Moonlight.
"It's my job to worry- William?"
In what seemed to be the blink of an eye, Murderface had gone from his position beside Toril, to infront of her, submerged to his chest in the bubbly water- the rest of his clothes discarded on the ground around them.
"I- Whens did-"
"Ch'mon Tchoril, hop on in, the waterchs fine!"
Toril groaned as she rubbed her now watery eyes, courtesy of the tubs never-ending train of steam. "Do you think you're just immunes to getting sick?"
Murderface scoffed at Torils' modest sentiment, and gently flicked warm droplets of water from her fingers onto her suit.
"Do you tchink we'll get hypothchermia from schitting in a hot tub?"
"It coulds happen."
Murderface moved forward from his spot until he was nearly face to face with the fully clothed Norwegian.
"Well, if itsch schtaying warm that you're worried about.."
Toril turned away from William, feigning a gag as she pulled out a cigarette and lit it on her way to the exit door. As she blew the smoke into the snowy sky above her, she took a deep breath to disguise her giggle at Williams sudden reaction.
"Tchoril! I'm schorry- ch'mon!"
William threw his arms about, looking for any sort of way to aquire Torils attention once again, but his pleas and splashing about turned out to no avail; Toril went back through the door and he was left alone in the outdoor tub. William sighed as he sunk further into the water, until all that remained dry was his head. Initially, he hadn't expected Toril to react like this, true he hadn't really thought she would skinny dip with him, but he had at most had expected to convince her of joining him in a bathing suit, or even in her current underwear- something. But now, instead, he was left to brood over his sad little thoughts in the sweltering heat of his, what only now was thought to be, poor financial decisions while mindlessly swirling strands of water through his fingers.
'Sche coulda at leascht schaid schomething.'
'Thchat might be aschking too much.'
'..Sche coulda at leascht schmacked me.. Or schomething.'
Admittedly they were still very early into what they only just decided to call their relationship, little more than a month since Toril had taken the step William had previously found himself too reluctant to make, and he already felt as though he were fooling himself. Even if she did like him in bed, as things went, all Murderface had been able to do was second guess himself in all aspects of his life- even his bass playing seemed to somehow rely on Torils sole approval of the sound of an instrument she knew nothing about.
William sighed once again, sinking deeper into the water.
'..Feelingchs are changing me.'
'Torilchs changing me.'
'Maybe it's just Christmas.'
No matter what the explanation be, it wasn't necessarily a change William had found himself opposing.
William was broken from his thoughts by a sight which would have made him tear up had his eyes not already been wettened from the steam, here come Toril walking towards him with one arm carrying towels and his robe, and the other carrying two bottles of wine with pride, all while donned in her own robe- and Murderface dared to imagine what was underneath. His wonders wouldn't be kept from him much longer, however, as Toril sat his robe and the towels to the side.
"I asked one of the klokskateers to make us a cheese plate." She said in a hushed tone, whilst handing William both bottles of wine and raising to untie the robe from her waist, letting the fabric fall gently from her shoulders and quickly turning to throw it alongside Williams. As the cold wind began to slice her bare skin, she turned her gaze back to Murderface and was met with the incredibly red faced bass player, who's green eyes could only be seen as a halo around the blown out blacks of his pupils. Toril scoffed, effectively masking the quick reddening of her cheeks as she stood above Murderface in the warm, bubbling water.
"Your jaw, Williams."
"Do you tchink you could come help me find it?"
With a small chuckle, Toril submerged herself in the water, moving to rest beside William, who regained his air of uncertainty as the dilemma of hand placement was thrust upon him. Toril, however, manged to solve the problem for both of them, by moving her arm to rest behind Wills' back and moving his hand to rest on her thigh. For a minute the pair sat in a comfortable silence, both of them admiring the same sky from different views, until Murderface cleared his throat.
"I can, uh, Get rid of thisch if you-"
"Who said I wanted it gone?"
William's gaze snapped to Toril, who's own was still fixed on the stars, as she snaked her free hand to rest atop William's. Had he only had the boldness to make this request before they met- or even two months prior to now, she never would have even thought to entertain his idea, and now here they are under a snowy, star lit sky as though this sort of tender affection came naturally to either of them. Toril looked down from the corner of her eye, to the large, coarse hand now unknowingly raking a thumb across her own.
'Maybe it's just Christsmas.'
