Do you have a savoury trail mix recipe? I’ve been looking and all I tend to find are either ‘this is a home made savoury trail mix! To finish it off, let’s add a litre of maple syrup :D’ or ‘this is a home made savoury trail mix! Start by buying a savoury trail mix’
Yeah, so what i did was use
1.5ish cups of almonds
1.5ish cups of raw cashews
1.5ish cups of peanuts
Maybe a cup sunflower seeds or pepitas?
A bunch of rice chex
A bunch of pretzels
A can of chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
Take the chickpeas, drain and rinse them, then put them on a baking sheet in the oven at 425 degrees for 30 minutes, take them out and dump them in a BIG bowl with all the other ingredients listed so far. If you want to add different or other stuff, go for it!
Next we need
1 stick butter
1/3ish cup of oil
3 tablespoons worchestershire sauce
A half tablespoon of hot sauce if you feel like it. I used cholula
1 tablespoon of seasoning mix of your choice (i used vegeta but i bet taco seasoning or season salt would also be good)
1 tablespoon of everything bagel mix
However much honey your heart desires. I think I added a tablespoon?
And a teaspoon of flaky, kosher, or ground salt
Preheat the oven to 200F and melt the butter. Mix in the rest of the seasonings and stuff. Pour that into the snack mix part and mix it up. Put it on 2 trays with parchment paper and bake for an hour. Every 15 minutes or so mix up the snacks on the tray so they don't get stuck together. Devour while both hot and cool.
You can really kind of do what you feel like with the recipe and add different stuff or leave stuff out, the oil and butter is the way the seasonings get stuck on and probably the only REQUIRED part of the recipe but even thats a bit wibbly. The original recipe I used for the seasoning part called for two sticks of butter and all purpose seasoning, whatever that is. I mostly used what I had already laying around and could buy cheaply from the bulk bins. I imagine soy sauce and furikake would also be a tasty mix instead of everything bagel and worchestershire sauce.

Riz is allergic to peanuts, this has not stopped him from eating peanut butter right out of the jar
he also has a few other food allergies that he'll ignore if triggered by someone's cooking because he doesn't want to "make a scene"
Its not a bad allergy, its more akin to those people who talk about how they hate eating bananas because its a bit spicy and makes their tongue tingle. Its never upset his stomach, and the tingling goes away after about thirty minutes so its fine. Peanut butter is an efficient source of calories, and its cheap as hell so you can pry peanut-butter from his cold dead hands thankyou very much.
He has a much worse reaction to cucumbers, funnily enough, but only if they're raw. They're a great, cheap ingrediant for bulking out food but his mum still wont buy them after he went all splotchy as a child the first time he tried them. Cooking them seems to help but he has to pick them out of his food if they're sliced and raw or he ends up with hives. He doesnt mention it though, and log sleeves help cover up the worst of them so he just sucks it up.
In a wild twist of fate, one other thing that people tend to be allergic to if they're allergic to raw cucumber is Chamomile tea so when Adaine finally convinces him to try some rather than coffee for once at a sleepover and his throat fully closes up well....

Some recipe suggestions/tips from someone who hates cooking, doing dishes, and dealing with produce:
Ingredients I get in bulk/always have on hand:
corn tortillas (get the giant bag of them and stick it in the freezer, they make great snacks on their own, and you can put mish mash in there and call it a taco!)
Pasta/Lentils/Rice
Tomato sauce and paste
Canned/frozen veggies (I like beans, corn, potatos, and peas especially but to each their own. Chickpeas are usually pretty good too.)
canned refried beans
Ground meat (I buy in 1lb increments and stick in freezer for easy protein)
frozen chopped onions
diced garlic in water
spices (Garlic and onion powder, cumin, curry powder, paprika, cayenne, oregano, basil, rosemary, bouillon, etc)
condiments (soy sauce, sweet n sour sauce, mustard/ketchup, honey, peanut butter, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, etc)
Recipes:
Samosa filling
Boil potatos or heat up canned ones until hot and soft. Microwave frozen peas, corn, carrots (or whatever veggies u like) until not frozen, or used canned. Put some fennel seeds into a pan for a little while until toasty, then add some oil/ghee and dump in your veggies/taters, plus some onions and garlic. Mush with a spatula and add curry powder/cumin/paprika or other savory spice mix to taste and cook until it smells/tastes good. Put in a tortilla/pita with some sweet n sour sauce if u want.
Lentil/Chickpea mishmash
Boil lentils until soft and the skins are kinda peeling, drain. Add to pan w canned chickpeas. Add some broth or water, just enough not to burn. Add savory spices, stir until chickpeas are softened. Optional: Cook garlic/diced onions in pan before adding lentils and chickpeas.
Soup
In a pot, cook some ground meat until browned, add some italian/savory spices. Dump in canned veggies, if using frozen then microwave first so it doesnt mess w cooking time too much. Season to taste. Add broth or water and buillon until desired soup consistency. Bring to a boil, then add short pasta noodles (like bowtie or fusili). Cook until pasta is almost done, then turn heat down and simmer and add spices until it tastes/smells good. You can freeze portions for later too.
Homemade pasta sauce
Storebought is expensive so: diced onions in a pan until soft. Add garlic, then tomato sauce (enough to coat amount of pasta u want). Add some tomato paste and italian seasonings (oregano, basil), then cook until it doesn't taste like raw tomato. Salt to taste. (Optional: cook ground meat until browned with the onions. if cooking from frozen wait to add the onions until meat is halfway cooked.) Boil ur pasta, then drain mostly (leave a little water) and pour pasta into the pan ur cooking the sauce in. stir to coat pasta.
Smashed cucumber salad
look up a recipe, there's a thousand out there, but usually i just cut up persian cucumbers, pour some vinegar/soy sauce/sesame seeds/chili flakes on there and boom
Peanut cucumber salad
Peel and slice american cucumbers, put in bowl with a lid. Add halved cherry tomatoes and peanuts. Add balsamic vinegar, olive oil, peanut butter/peanut sauce. put lid on, shake vigorously. If u dont have lid, then combine sauce ingredients separately and whisk to emulsify before adding to salad.
Also quick and great: Bean and cheese burritos, peanut butter sandwiches, eggs, caprese salad.
Thanks so much! There's definitely a couple in here I could fuck with, and yeah having more canned stuff sounds like a good idea. Not as good as fresh obviously but better than fast food right? Also, truly wish I could eat refried beans without shitting myself to death afterwards lmao that and chalula or tapatillo is why almost every mexican dish makes my intestines radioactive
#ask#listen: I didn't CHOOSE to be this white#though weirdly I can handle indian and chinese spice a bit better#though I'm talking MILD#anything more intense will make me weep on the spot

Print on Demand Pro Tips | Reduce Packaging Trash on Holidays
Online shopping for the 2022 holiday season is expected to break previous records. As a result, there will be an increase in the number of packages delivered and an influx of cardboard boxes and packaging materials. According to Stanford University, packaging accounts for approximately 30% of trash. According to one study, each household will dispose of 25% more trash between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day. It is critical for a print on demand eCommerce retailer to use recyclable packaging materials. Recycling conserves energy and natural resources, reduces pollution, and prevents landfills from overflowing. This time of year is ideal for educating and reminding your consumers to recycle.
PRINT ON DEMAND PRO TIPS TO REDUCE PACKAGING TRASH DURING HOLIDAYS
1. Encourage customers to recycle and reuse packaging.
Although most residents have recycling bins at home, not all recyclable items belong in these bins. You must keep certain recyclable materials apart from others. Many supermarkets have plastic drop-off stations to recycle plastics with resin identification codes 2 and 4. It is important to note that you cannot recycle contaminated boxes and other recyclable materials. Customers may want to keep your orders if they arrive in a cool branded box. Another good option is to keep or repurpose packages, as long as they do not end up in the trash. Although not every box will be in good enough condition to be reused, packing peanuts, bubble wrap, and other packing supplies can.
2. Use eco-friendly materials.
Online retailers can make environmentally friendly decisions. If you’re an eCommerce merchant looking to be more environmentally friendly, your packaging is one of the most important things to consider. You can be intentional about sustainability by using post-consumer recycled content in the manufacturing of products and choosing eco-friendly packaging and branded boxes. By limiting the need to collect raw materials, you can conserve natural resources, reduce the amount of waste in landfills, and prevent pollution by using recycled materials.
3. Make packaging more appealing to make consumers buy in bulk.
People in today’s society order items online on the spur of the moment with the click of a button. Items can travel in one box rather than many by grouping them rather than ordering them individually. Ecommerce merchants can reduce the number of packing materials used by offering bulk discounts and kits, using the right-sized box, and experimenting with other methods.
4. Reduce the number of miles traveled.
The greater the distance a package travels, the greater the environmental impact. One way to cut transit miles is to keep inventory closer to your customers. Knowing when to expect deliveries helps to avoid redeliveries and, as a result, a larger carbon footprint. Furthermore, more trips are made each time a customer returns a product. Retailers can optimize their websites to include customer reviews, high-quality photos, and detailed product descriptions to reduce the likelihood of eCommerce returns and exchanges.
CONCLUSION
Especially at this time of year, online shopping generates a lot of empty boxes. Unfortunately, cardboard and plastic are still being disposed of in landfills today. You can reduce the environmental impact of online shopping by recycling the leftover materials from online orders. Of course, it is ultimately up to each customer to make these choices. As a print on demand eCommerce merchant, you can encourage this behavior and even make decisions that benefit – rather than harm – the environment.

Choose Whole Fruits: Instead of fruit juices or processed snacks, opt for whole fruits like berries, apples, or watermelon, which provide more fiber and fewer calories.
Experiment with Swaps: Try swapping out higher-calorie ingredients for low-calorie alternatives, such as using cauliflower instead of rice or zucchini noodles in place of pasta.

Top 10 Liquids That Companies Bulk Ship
Are you looking to start getting into bulk liquid transport? If you haven’t already started in this industry, you’ll first need to know what kind of liquids can be shipped in bulk across the world. Also, you need to know what’s in demand right now. Here are 10 of the top liquids that companies ship, so you can start researching and find your market.
1. Water
You wouldn’t typically consider shipping water out in a bulk liquid transportation tank, especially when most people have access to water in their own homes. Instead, water is typically shipped out when there are natural disasters or other incidents where access to water is more difficult.
With flexible tanks that are able to be attached to helicopters, this makes it easy for companies and organisations to move water where it needs to go. That’s especially helpful when access by road or rail is blocked.
2. Alcohol Products
When it comes to bulk liquid shipping, this is always a popular option. Any kind of alcohol can be shipped, such as beers, wines, gins, vodkas, and more. Food grade ethanol is also able to be shipped using bulk liquid solutions.
It’s a good market to research, as there may be a market for a particular beverage that’s made in your area. For example, there are many companies in California that ship locally made wine to other areas of the USA and further afield. If you’re just getting started, alcohol products are a good way to get into the industry.
3. Dairy Products
This is another fairly typical product that can be shipped using bulk liquid transport. Dairy products covers things like milk, cream, milk balancer, pasteurized or raw whey, and so on. It’s a product you’ll typically sell on to manufacturers to make other products, or to restaurants and other businesses that use these liquids in bulk.
Again, you’ll likely find a market for these goods near by, so it’s a good one to research if you’re just starting out as a shipping company.
4. Vegetable Oils
When you think of vegetable oils, you’ll think of a whole host of other oils that can be used in cooking. That can range from palm oil to canola oil, coconut oil, corn oil, peanut oil, sunflower oil, and much more besides.
These oils are used in a wide range of manufacturing plants, whether it’s for creating other food goods or for bottling and selling as cooking oils. This is something to consider if you’re getting into bulk liquid solutions, and you have oil production companies you can work with.
5. Juices
For those looking to create business deals with food manufacturers or bulk sellers, juices are always a good choice. They’re easily transported in a bulk liquid transportation tank, and some juices will stay shelf stable for a long time.
It’s not just fresh juice that can be shipped. You can ship concentrates and single strength juices, fruit punches, beverage bases, and vegetable bases too.
6. Chocolate
Here’s another liquid you may not have considered when setting up your bulk liquid transport business. While of course you’ll think of chocolate as a solid good, it comes in liquid forms too. These can be simply liquid chocolate on its own, or with added ingredients such as milk or sugar. These are again used in manufacturing, and you may find a market for it.
7. Cleaning Products
This covers a wide range of products, including cleansers and detergents, surfactants, and more. As a product there’s always going to be a demand for this, so it’s something that you can help meet.
You can look into companies that create and bottle cleaning solutions, or companies that need bulk liquid solutions for cleaning agents. If you have access to these kinds of goods, that could be a steady job for your business.
8. Adhesives
Adhesives are another bulk liquid that you wouldn’t think of right away, but are always in demand. Think of all the ways that an adhesive can be used in manufacturing. If you find a market for it, you can provide the goods needed.
As adhesives may come with special requirements, you’ll need to find the right bulk liquid transportation tank for them. Plus, you’ll need to ensure your staff are protected from the liquid if they’re exposed to fumes.
9. Industrial Oils
There’s a whole host of industrial oils that you can look into shipping around the country, and even around the globe. Think furnace oils, bunker oils, mineral oils, machine oils, and a whole lot more. There’s so many widespread uses for them, you can look into using them for your business.
Again, you’ll want to make sure you have the right tanks for your bulk liquid transport business, so you’re keeping the oils in top condition and protecting your staff in the mean time.
10. Toiletries
Finally, there are many toiletries that come in liquid form, such as shampoos, conditioners, and shower gels. They often need to be shipped in bulk, either in their finished form to be bottled and sold, or in their separate parts to be made.
These are just a few of the different liquids that can be shipped in bulk. If you find the right market for you goods, you’ll be able to get your bulk liquid shipping business up and running with ease. Start looking to see what’s in demand near you.

For Veganuary, some of my favorite vegan foods!
As a general rule, I use canned or frozen veggies in all of these. They’re cheaper, they last longer, and you don’t have to do any chopping (which is especially convenient when it comes to onions). The only exceptions are mushrooms and potatoes.
Rice!
I cook it with veggie broth (or a vegan chicken flavored broth), garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
Before I set it to simmer, I dump in a bag of frozen veggies (I like mixed veggies or spinach) or fresh veggies (I like mushrooms) and throw in a can of chickpeas for good measure
Right after it’s done, I stir in some vegan cheese if I have it. I usually do about a cup of cheese when I make a big pot and that’s plenty.
Dirty Rice
Pasta!
To stretch mac and cheese, melt some vegan butter in the pot, add your unsweet dairy free milk, then add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and whatever seasonings you want. Bring it to a boil and then whisk in enough flour to get it to a gravy-like consistency. then add your dairy free cheese--you’ll only need half as much.
Garlic Butter Pasta
Chickpea “Tuna” Casserole
Alfredo
I like to add red bell pepper or spinach to a mozzarella mac and cheese; peas or meatless crumbles to a cheddar mac and cheese.
For tomato sauce, I just use a can of crushed tomato with salt, garlic and onion powder, italian seasoning, and a bit of balsamic vinegar. Spinach and mushrooms go well with this, too.
Some of my top recipes
Biscuit Topped Chickpea Pot Pie (takes a while but so worth it!)
Tabbouleh (I usually add chickpeas to make it heartier)
Corn Fritters (I just throw in whatever veggies I have on hand)
Biscuits and Gravy (I usually add some fake sausage to the gravy to make it more filling)
Split Pea Soup
Hummus and Pita (This isn’t real pita, but it’s close and much easier. Of course you can always just buy it at the store, too.)
Potato Wedges
Refried Bean Burgers
Burritos (No recipe, but I fill mine with refried beans, spanish rice--the little knorr packets are vegan!--taco sauce, and mexican style dairy free cheese)
Nachos (No recipe, but I top mine with black beans, a vegan cheese sauce, salsa, and black olives)
Pancakes
Desserts are easy--just sub out dairy-free milk and dairy-free butter. Or search for vegan versions of your favorites!
Cinnamon Rolls
Banana Bread Cinnamon Rolls
Orange Rolls
Sprinkle Sugar Cookies
Rolled Sugar Cookies
Double Chocolate Chip Cookies
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Vanilla Pudding
Chocolate Pudding
Lots of stovetop pudding mixes are vegan--just use non-dairy milk!
Vanilla Cake
Chocolate Cake
Coffee Cake
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
Banana Nice Cream
Frozen Pineapple Whip
Vegan Egg Substitutes for Baking
Cheese - I buy raw cashews in bulk from foodtolive--shipping is free, tax is included, and the price is very reasonable. I eat cashew cheese every day so I usually get the 7lb bag and keep it in the bottom of my fridge.
Easy Cheese Sauce (no cashews)
Go-to Cashew Cheese (This is a great base! Sometimes I add tomato paste and hot sauce for a buffalo cheese, or sometimes I go heavy on the lemon juice and add dried dill and parsley).
Pimento Cheese
Sundried Tomato Cheese

This is just me being me....
Soooo! Levi wants to go shopping at the local farmers market. He wants to pick up some tasty food and maybe stop by a place on the way home to grab some plants for the garden.
Which tasty stalls do you stop by and what plants will you guys grab for your garden?
He's eyeing those deals.
CAT! My darling! I must apologize to you (and others) for letting things sit in my inbox.
Part of me just gets distracted, or forces myself to finish my work (not often lol) before interacting. Another part literally feels like I can't do justice to things people send me.... I'll work on that.
(I have no excuse for being so late in tag games except, distractions lol)
Anyway! Let me promote myself LOL I'll take a little inspiration from the Farmers Market fic I wrote a while ago. (this is also slightly self indulgent)
I think you'd have similar tastes and your favorites of course... Am I about to go overboard?
As far as fruit, I stand by Levi liking apples (I have a fic for that too hehe), and cherries, and fresh navel oranges. He's always got an apple or orange for lunch, or snacks on a bowl of cherries when they're in season. And loving apples as well, you're known to make tasty treats like tarts or muffins or crisps, and Levi always has his share.
You can't pass up the pineapple as well, or the blueberries and strawberries in season. Your freezer is full for smoothie ingredients. (Imma make a HC about everyones favorite fruit sometime)
Moving on to veggies, you stock up for salads and quick snacks. Bell peppers, cucumbers, carrots, zucchini, yes! All of it! How can you pass up a 1.5 pound organic zucchini for $1? You can't!
You like winter squash as well like butternut for soups or acorn for stuffing...or both for muffins or casseroles! (I have recipes!)
Also potatoes for baking or mashing yourself. And they last forever.
Okay but the zucchini? You have to visit the cheese stall and get asiago or mozzarella to shred on the zucchini and pop it in the oven for 15 minutes. SO GOOD. Also feta for salads. Cheese is the bulk of your dairy as it's coconut or almond milk in your fridge.
The tea stall! Loose leaf, baggies, give us the usual black or green tea. Chamomile or sage tea, cinnamon and honey lemon, and fruity flavors once in a while like pomegranate or pear mango. :D
Oh and dried fruit and nuts! Levis a weirdo and likes dried beets and such. He can have those. The hazelnuts too. But you both like raw almonds and the nutty granola blend for days you have oatmeal and want a crunch. Sometimes you just use it as a cereal base and throw in the blueberries! Dried fruit like mango or papaya wind up in your bag too. And those apple slices!
We can't forget the bread! You have to watch it here more than anywhere. Rye or pumpernickel loafs, small rolls of sesame seed or garlic herb. Sometimes they're for breakfast and sometimes for lunch.
How about your honey and fresh jams and peanut/almond butters? Gotta have something to put between those sandwiches! Apricot preserves, orange marmalade, classic strawberry jam. (Jam spreads better then jelly!)
You know I don't know where you're going to put all this stuff LOL
Sometimes you also grab eggs, and look at the non food items like the crafty handmade woodwork or coasters (no more coasters!) or fresh bar soap like lavender!
BTW if anyone is waiting for me to throw meats in there, you're going to have to do it yourself haha sorry
Oh wait but maybe you splurge on pasta? There's so many varieties! Maybe you go for lemon garlic linguini, or sun dried tomato fettuccine. And pasta sauce made with organic tomatoes, garlic, onion, basil and olive oil. YUM!
And if you go early and don't eat breakfast, you'll get it there. Strawberry mango smoothies, waffles, guava or chocolate empanadas?? (You eat healthy all the time, it's okay to not once in a while!)
Maybe you get lunch to go like woodfire pizza, or veggie wraps and rice and beans. Yes, you have lots of food, but after lugging it around and putting it away who wants to cook? You need to take it easy for a minute!
As far as plants, more zucchini, you can never have enough. Tomatoes and whatever lettuce variety is your favorite, and fresh herbs like basil, rosemary and parsley.
Fruits are a little more tricky I think, but a fig plant can go indoors or outdoors, and fresh figs are a nice treat! Lemons and limes are a good option too, and you can use them for some flavored water or to keep cut apples fresh :D Maybe if there's room blueberries too, or plums. (and apples)
So, what do you think? You going to the market with Levi? What are YOU getting??
#eliza answers#moots#moots housecat#levi ackerman#levi#levi fluff#levi ackerman fluff#aot#attack on titan#farmers market#fresh produce#let's go to the farmers market#levi headcanons#just my opinion people#and my likes hehe

You cannot tell me Veneziano Italy has weak legs. The fucker has some raw ass sterdy spaghetti legs, not limp cooked spaghetti legs. He runs a lot. And you also cant tell me he doesnt have some muscle built up in his arms after what training Germany does manage to get him to do.
Other than a satanic ritual gone wrong, how else do you think these are possible???

Germany: Old? You're, what? 500 at least? Doesn't seem that old to me, at least in a nation sense anyway. *takes sip of coffee*
Veneziano: Germany. I'm 3000 years old.
Germany: *chokes on coffee*
