Bird anatomy is stupid and I don't mean in the literal sense I mean that they change so much by just stretching or scrunching a little or changing angles. They're like cats, it's horrifying.

Ok, if you remember the post where I said I remembered what I wanted to do before forgetting it, it was something like this

The Sweet Tooth brainrot is making fun of me and wanted me to make an Au

So, here’s my Tf Rescue Bots x Sweet Tooth Au, where the bots (excepting Hightide) are Hybrids kids and the Rescue Team, simple humans from Maine, save them and protect them

At first I wanted them to be like cyberorganic and not completely hybrids but then I said “nah, let’s make them kids” because i wanted some animal kids shenanigans and here we are

I just saw that I forgot to make Sissi, shit, well, Sissi is undetermined, but I want her to be a fox.

The wolves triplet are Shockwave, Soundwave and Heatwave

The kids with Graham are Boulder (left) and Bulkhead (right) and are hedgehogs, the big man is Hightide and the kids he have on his arms are Blurr (left) and Salvage (right), a saanen goat and a german shepherd dog

The kids above Hightide are Cody and Frankie as apocalypse teens HAJAHSJS. Ft. Kade and Quickshadow as an owl

And the red panda and the budgie are Chase and Blades

I sincerely just wanted to sketch a little but let’s make some backstory

When the great crumble happened, Griffin Rock had to close to any kind of person, but chief Burns couldn’t let the kids, the new hybrids, by their own, he was sure they wouldn’t survive with the angry people and wanted to make something, so, he left the island with the hope he could save some, and so he did, a year later he came back with some kids, and after seeing they’re not contagious, Griffin Rock became a secret sanctuary for hybrids, but the job was still undone and Charlie had to go, since then, Kade became rescue chief and made sure to protect both citizens and hybrid orphans, especially when the new pregnancies resulted on hybrids and the people started to really fear the kids, but sometimes, he’s replaced by his siblings to make his dad company at mainland and help him.

Thanks to Griffin Rock’s tech, the island never was found again by people, especially the Last Men, who hunted hybrids, making their own ways to reach mainland without being reached, at that times, Graham, the engineer of the Rescue Team, Ezra Greene, scientist lead, and Hightide, named Horace in this Au, a retired Navy and marine soldier, have to help guiding the kids when Charlie can’t

As Kade, Frankie and Cody became also “saviors of hybrids” because they wanted

And for Morrocco, Madeline and the other zoo guy I don’t remember the name, I wanted to kill them with the Sick (the virus that fucked up everything) but it would be fun to have them trying to reach Griffin Rock, like, Morrocco needs the kids blood to make a cure for the Sick but he really wants to stay young with their blood, and Madeline is a racist who uses the kids as trophies and her influences to hunt the kids and the zoo guy want them for their zoo or something, like with the bots :=)

This group, the triplet, the twins, Blurr, Salvage, Quickshadow, Chase and Blades, were the hardest to find and save, because they were bought by the Last Men to be used on experiments, the wolf triplet could escape before being Last Men's soup and found Charlie using their noses, they told them everything as they could because Shockwave was the only one who knew to talk but poorly, so, Charlie prepared an ambush when the kids were transported by train to save them, the equivalents of Hence, Board, Bridget, Stone and Grill were already used, never were find again, but the rest were rescued and sent to Griffin Rock. their lives became a little brighther since then.

But the Last Men weren't the only ones who wanted the hybrids…

Musketeer pet headcanons!!

Gary - rats! despite gary growing up with dogs and cats at various points, as an adult he pivoted into rat ownership. he has three, named Charlie, Wayne and Patricia, after members of the Sisters of Mercy. unsuccessfully tries to train them and ends up getting bitten on more than one occasion. he's brought them to the other musketeers' workplaces just to fuck with them on more than one occasion.

Andy - fish and a corgi! he keeps the fish at his office at work for company, even if they don't make any real noise. as for the corgi, his kids insisted on a dog and he caved and basically became the epitome of "dad and the dog".

Steven - dog! steven's always sort of had dogs, so logically as an adult he would also adopt a dog. his great dane is a very lazy dog, and a very chill one. sometimes he and andy meet up at a dog park to let their dogs hang out so they can catch up. his dog does have a habit of jumping on him though.

Peter - birds! specifically, a pair of budgies. adopting them shortly before his first kid was born, he's always been proud of his birds. he's taught them songs and they have their own room to fly around in. the kids absolutely adore them.

Oliver - cat! oliver's cat is a persian named Princess, and she hisses at any Chamberlain household visitor. she's grumpy, and the only person she loves is oliver. oliver has tried to train her out of this behavior, but was met with maulings.

Sam - cat as well! although, her cat is an orange tabby named Tangerine. tangerine is incredibly sweet, but also incredibly stupid. unfortunately, her brother's cat does not like tangerine and often attacks him. once she moves in with steven, tangerine and steven's dane get along pretty well.

Alice: green or purple, would get a cat

Magdalena: yellow and purple, would probably get a snake or some other reptile but I do see her having a rabbit or guinea pig as well

Tansy: blue, would want something she could cuddle

Petra: red, would also want a cat

Piper: pink or yellow, actively owns budgies

Charlie: blue or green, house is full of stray animals they found along their travels and didn't have the heart to leave behind

I love writing. I mainly post X reader stories. Also for privacy reasons I’m not going to be showing my face or saying my name hope you understand but I did find this picture that sort of looks like me which is my profile picture. And I will be going by the name Budgie since it is apart of my username. My favorite color is yellow and I am learning Spanish at the moment. I have two pets a Jack Russell called Luna, a German Short Haired Pointer (GSP) called Milo and a Budgie called Rio. My favorite subject is Science and my favorite book series is School For Good And Evil which has come out with a movie on Netflix BUT my favorite movie franchise is Fast and Furious and a close second and third is Lord Of The Rings and The Hunger Games.

My Memories of Princess Margaret

Princess Margaret famously accessorised a cocktail in one hand with a cigarette in the other. But the fun-loving royal, who struggled to find purpose in the shadow of her sister Queen Elizabeth, proved she could rein in her vices when she had to give up smoking and drinking in her later years.

“I asked her, ‘Is it very hard?’” recalls her lady-in-waiting of three decades, Anne Glenconner. “She said, ‘No, Anne, once I make up my mind to do something, I do it’.’’ That was certainly the way she lived. In Lady in Waiting: My Extraordinary Life in the Shadow of the Crown, Glenconner, 87, opens a window into the royal world as it intertwined with her own.

Glenconner grew up in an aristocratic family; had a rocky marriage to fellow aristocrat Colin Tennant (who later became Lord Glenconner); and lost two of their five children (Henry died of an AIDS-related illness in 1990; Charles died of hepatitis C in 1996). She was an attendant at Queen Elizabeth’s 1953 coronation, joined Margaret on her many getaways to the Caribbean island of Mustique and watched as the princess’ own tempestuous marriage, to  photographer Antony Armstrong-Jones, crumbled.

But it was the simple times with Margaret that Glenconner treasures most, “when we were just together. Without our husbands.” Margaret, who died at age 71 in 2002 following a stroke, had a tender side too: When Henry was diagnosed with AIDS, “People were terrified about how you caught it,” says Glenconner. “But she always came and brought [ her children] David and Sarah, and she always hugged Henry.”

Even her biting wit had surprising heart. During a mid-flight storm, Glenconner became “nervous as we were bouncing about”, she recalls. “She put her hand on mine and said, ‘No point in being frightened, Anne, we’ll either be all right or we won’t. I think we might have another drink on the other hand.’ She always came up with good advice.”

The following are short extracts from the book, revealing previously untold details about the royal maverick …

In 1968, Margaret – then married to Armstrong-Jones and mother to David, 7, and Sarah, 4 – began planning a home on Mustique, where Anne’s husband, Colin, had given her land.

Although incomparable to a royal palace, Mustique offered Princess Margaret a break from her husband. Like Colin, Tony was unpredictable, sharing similar character traits: He was eccentric and extremely demanding, often rubbing people up the wrong way. But, just like Colin, he could be incredibly charming.

Everybody she had ever met had treated her in a certain way and there was Tony, being spiteful in creative ways, bothering to come up with nasty little one-liners to write down and hide in her glove drawer, with her hankies or tucked into books.

In the late afternoon we would often go and sit in Basil’s Bar, watching the sunset, sceptically waiting for the ‘green flash’ that is supposed to appear on the horizon just after the sun vanishes … We always seemed to be distracted by the thought, pausing our conversation to stare at the view, just in case we saw it. We never did but it became a fun habit.

In 1973, as Margaret’s marriage was falling apart, Anne and Colin introduced the princess to fun-loving landscape gardener Roddy Llewellyn.

Princess Margaret and Roddy had immediately clicked, even though Roddy was 17 years younger than her. [After a car ride, Anne’s son] Charlie explained, with a twinkle in his eye, that they had taken so long because Princess Margaret had whisked Roddy off shopping to find him some swimming trunks for the pool. With a big grin on his face, Charlie said that the trunks were so tight they could have been described as “budgie smugglers”. I said to Colin, “Oh, gosh, what have we done?”

When Roddy had been at [Anne and Colin’s estate, Glen] for about two days, he told me how beautiful he thought Princess Margaret was, and I said, “Don’t tell me, tell her.” So he did, and from then on, Princess Margaret and Roddy were inseparable, staying up late after dinner, sitting at one of the card tables in the drawing room after an evening of playing bridge or canasta … After the weekend in Glen, they were together for eight years, and friends for life, making all the difference to Princess Margaret who, by the time they met, had endured several years of unhappiness with Tony.

By the mid-1970s, Princess Margaret’s marriage was at breaking point, but with two children and being very religious, she didn’t want a divorce. In the end, Tony pushed her to it because in 1978 his mistress, Lucy Lindsay-Hogg, became pregnant with their first child.

Day after day there were screaming headlines, with pictures of Princess Margaret caught looking miserable, not helped by the fact that she had the type of face that looked sombre when she wasn’t smiling.

During this press-frenzied time, and in an attempt to escape their ghastly intrusion into her private life, over the next several months Princess Margaret would come quite frequently to stay with me in my Norfolk farmhouse or at Glen … Roddy would arrive later in the evening and I would leave them to relax. Going through such a private matter in public, and the scandal of being the first high-profile member of the royal family to divorce since King Henry VIII, was enough to make anybody need a friend.

Throughout countless hours together, Anne grew protective of Margaret, whose reputation as a demanding bon vivant had spread.

People complained about Princess Margaret being difficult, but I think quite often it was because she was bored or fed up.

She would often be invited to meet strangers at lunch or dinner but, not surprisingly, her idea of fun wasn’t sitting next to the mayor, the bishop, and the chief of police for Sunday lunch. When she was staying with friends, she didn’t want to be on show.

She also appreciated being asked what she actually wanted to do and what she wanted to eat but she often wasn’t. Great dinners would be arranged, when really she preferred much simpler food.

I minded very much when people complained about her behaviour. I knew she could be difficult: she was known for her icy stare if she felt someone had overstepped the mark, often accompanied with a curt remark normally with good reason. She had moments of being very grand indeed, but I worked round these ‘royal moments’, finding her quietly amusing. I didn’t like it when people criticised her, especially when she was already being hounded by the press.

In her later years, the single Margaret grew more dependent on Anne than ever.

In the years that followed, Princess Margaret had one or two more strokes and then her eyesight started to fail. Very quickly she lost it almost entirely. Having loved being surrounded by men, she now refused their company, even Colin’s, only feeling comfortable with a few female companions.

A few of us would regularly read to her and sometimes I would stay the night. Her taste in reading material was eclectic to say the least. On one visit, I arrived to find her extremely animated. “I’ve got a new book,” she said excitedly. “Would you read it to me? It’s all about seeds.”

My heart sank. A whole book about plant seeds. What could be more boring? I thought, but Roddy had given it to her, and not only was she thrilled but she was clearly genuinely interested. I got as far as a chapter on potatoes before saying, “Ma’am, are you really interested in this book? Should I carry on? Isn’t it rather boring?”

“Keep going, Anne,” she said, without missing a beat. “It’s fascinating.”

So, on I ploughed through that beastly book, but not without her stopping me several times and questioning my pronunciation, which she was always correcting. This was a habit of hers.

Anne had a front-row seat to Margaret’s complex and sometimes difficult relationship with her sister.

One day, the Queen came to tea with Princess Margaret. I stayed in the drawing room so they could have some time together and she went off to the bedroom to find Princess Margaret. Quite soon after she had gone in, she suddenly reappeared.

“Oh, Ma’am, is everything all right?” I asked.

“No, it isn’t,” the Queen replied. “Margaret is listening to [the UK radio soap opera] The Archers and every time I try to say something she just says, ‘Shh!’”

I wasn’t surprised. Princess Margaret’s defiant streak extended to her sister, despite her being the Queen. I had always noticed that she had a very subtle strategy for one-upmanship, which contributed to the bickering that went on between her and the Queen Mother.

I said, “Let’s go back up together.”

When we got into the bedroom, I said to Princess Margaret, “Ma’am, the Queen is here, and she can’t stay all that long. Would you like me to help pour the tea?” I switched off the wireless, made sure they both had a cup, and left the room.

Margaret died following a stroke on February 9, 2002.

The months after her death felt very quiet without Princess Margaret. She really was an extraordinary woman: If someone was anxious about something, she would always see the problem in an entirely different way, from a new angle, which would often help in finding a solution. Even now, when I’m faced with a problem, I wish she was here to tell me what she would do. Right up to the end, she stayed interested in the world around her. Life has not been the same without her, especially when I go to Mustique.

The actor Iain Cuthbertson was born in Glasgow on January 4th 1930.

Cuthbertson was one of the finest and most acclaimed theatre actors of his generation, eventually rising to the directorship of the Citizens Theatre in the early 1960s but it his the TV work we know him. I first remember him as Charlie Endell in Budgie and it’s sequel Charles Endell Esquire but he is probably remember more for playing Procurator Fiscal, John Sutherland in Sutherland’s Law which ran between 1973 and 1976. Those a wee bit younger will of course know him as Scunner Campbell who came up against our Scotland’s first superhero played by Gudrun Ure as Supergran!!

Cuthbertson made appearances in many TV serials through the years, Z Cars, Black Beauty, The Onedin Line and Casualty, to name but a few. He played  different roles in Casualty, Campion and Rab C Nesbit and was always in demand on the small screen.  One of his last roles was in the cracking Scottish film Strictly Sinatra, which was written and directed by fellow Scot Peter Capaldi and starred Brian Cox and Kelly MacDonald as well as Jimmy Yuilll and Tommy Flannagan.

His biggest film role was as Dr. Louis Leakey in Gorillas in the Mist, other films roles came in Scandal, The Railway Children and the under rated Chasing the Deer set mainly during the 45 Jacobite uprising.

He suffered a severe stroke in 1982, which caused paralysis down one side of his body and speech loss. It took him almost two years to recover sufficiently to be able to act again. Although he avoided live theatre work thereafter, due to a fear of forgetting and/or stumbling on lines, he was still able to take parts in films and TV. He died on September 4th 2009 at Ayr Hospital, a funeral service and cremation was held in Dalrymple where he “cherished his home in the village Main Street near the River Doon"

"A house is not a home"

Nothing is meant to be, it happens because of decisions...

“Do you want to buy these children? How a man like you?” the old lady said to the man on the other side of the table “I thought people like you were the kind of people who had compassion of these mutants.”

“I´m a nomad, Mrs., I need protection and help in hunting” the man excused himself.

“HA!” the woman gave a bark of laughter “hunting? A red panda can only hunt little animals like mouses, and a budgie for what? For making uncomfortable the prey? They are domestic!”

“I need them.”

“They´re not on sale! They´re mine! As their grandmother and as their owner. If you don´t have anything else to say, Mr. Burns, then, you can go…”

The man didn´t say something else, stand up the chair and gave farewell, to later got out of the property, the woman had a big land but never let the kids go out of the place, she always kept them inside, that day, Charlie Burns couldn´t do anything to rescue the children, he hadn´t had good tools for it without making harm to them, but told to himself that those children are not going to stay that much in that house.

And he was right, they didn´t stay much longer after his visit, because when he returned from Griffin Rock, the house was already taken as a military camp for new recruits of Last Men, the woman? Dead. The kids? Taken away, all the children in that farm were taken because he couldn´t do what the Last Men did before, if not even money could save those children from death in a world that was reigned by it, then, what he can do for children in similar conditions? How was he supposed to rescue those hybrids being a rescuer? How was he a rescuer and couldn´t evade a pair of little kids being taken by the hands of men who only care for themselves while saying they care for everyone?

…some decisions are just made by others before it was our turn to choice
