Here, have some crap I drew at BronyCAN 2014! I think I was trying to demonstrate my idea of a "good" Trixcone drawing, something with an irregular or dynamic pose, or some unique, unexpected spin that the artist has cooked up. I also seem to have forgotten that Trixie was a unicorn.

I don't post about it much here, but on top of this blog I also do silly pony music and am involved with various other fandom projects. I try to spend as little time on Twitter as possible these days, so hit me up on BlueSky! And if you see me at a convention, say hi and I'll give you a kazoo!

BronyCAN Presents: My Little Pony: the Movie!

Cineplex VIP, eOne Films and BronyCAN have teamed up to bring Vancouver a special VIP showing of the new My Little Pony movie!

BronyCAN's convention run may have come to a close, but that doesn't mean the staff have given up on bringing the community cool stuff. If you're excited for the new My Little Pony movie, and would like to see it two whole days early, Cineplex have given us a special showing in one of their VIP theatres! Time and location are:

October 4th, 7:00pm Cineplex Cinemas Marine Gateway and VIP 452 South West Marine Drive Vancouver, BC

eOne are also sending us along some cool prizes, so before the movie starts we'll be running giveaways for attendees who arrive early!

Cineplex VIP cinemas are special adult-only theatres that feature special comfy seating, a licenced bar and lounge and in-seat food service. Please note that the showing will be for ages 19+ only. Tickets for the showing will be $19.99 including taxes. Costumes and cosplay are encouraged, but please note that any head coverings such as fursuits may only be worn inside the theatre and not in the lobby or when entering the bar (for obvious reasons!).

We're really excited to be able to bring this special movie premiere to our local fanbase, and we hope to see you there. Tickets are limited to approximately 100 seats, so get yours booked now to avoid disappointment.

When I saw @tjpones was vending at BronyCAN this year, I had to stop by and pick up a few things! Having the opportunity to get a commission was a bonus!

Thanks for taking on the commission of my OC, Whirlwind Flux, and doing a fantastic job! I never know exactly what to ask for, so I leave it up to the artist for pose and expression - and I completely love the way it turned out!

OKAY! :D So one of the more exciting commissions I got from Everfree NW was a commission to make a cut paper badge of the Bronycan mascot, Princess Apricity! :D The commissioner mentioned wishing he could get her in all of her seasons, and after some research... omg. I found that she changes every season. I loved the design!!~ And, as sometimes happens with me... my work on the badge snowballed.

Note: The commissioner in question won’t incur any extra charges. I got caught up into it, and the badges depicting the other three seasons are a gift to them. This was so fun to work on!!
