Deo Tibba Base Camp trek is, also known as the Chota Chandratal trek, is one of the best treks in the Manali region of Himachal Pradesh(HP). Mount Deo Tibba is visible through the entire trail of the trek. Other peaks of Himalayans like Indrasan and the glaciers of Jagatsukh are also visible. The maximum altitude gained during Deo Tibba is appx 14,698 ft. The emerald blue waters of Hidden Chota Chandrataal lake at the foot of Deo Tibba peak is the biggest highlight of a trek. The best time to do the Deo Tibba trek is June, July, August, and September. During the day, the temperature remains 10 to 15 degrees and -2 to 5 degrees at night. The temperature may drop to 8° C during July and August.
Things to carry on the Deo Tibba Basecamp trek
Trekking shoes: On your trek, you will have to cover a long distance and walk for long.
