Upon reflection I don't actually think Nickel & Lightbulb would date each other. I think Lightbulb would be dating Nickel's spouses which ends up with them having a weird situationship where if asked if they're together they just go "Are we????". They've definitely kissed a couple times

Basebulb is cute! They have a fun dynamic. Just kinda sucks that they mostly come from truth or flare, and that episode was really bad for Baseball's arc (even if act 1 of the movie kinda got it back on course, everything in ep15 was so unnecessary and didn't make sense with his relationship with Suitcase)

They also have a really good throuple ship set up with Suitcase. Brightbasecase ily

I really hope over time they gain some popularity because they deserve it tbh. Lightbulb would unironically Baseball babygirl I think. Yes

Basically I think they could be cute and I'm kinda upset ii15 didn't group them together. I was genuinely really excited to see their relationship dynamic and then we just.....didn't get it? And I'm sad about it. That being said favorite wlw ship for both of them very yuri 👍 (if we're only counting canon genders ofc. Balloon is a girl, to me)

I just feel like this would be really healing for both of them. And they have a lot of shared friends (some who work as partners)

It works best as Brightbasecase tbh, maybe add Nickel too it depends if you're going for a rewrite or a more canon based thing.

They also replaced Clover/case for me, since I stopped shipping that after Clover became Nickel's therapist but still missed it.

I should do stuff with them tbh I'm just more focused on the main grand slams polycule. Anyways fandom if you're looking for a rarepair wlw Suitcase ship this is the one to go for it's got a lot of potential 👍
