“We have no choice,” said Arran, “The Ogilvies have trespassed over our lands and stolen our goods too often. Gartnait Ogilvie will not stop until we fight back.”

“Surely we can try for peaceful diplomacy?” implored Darlugdach.  Arran shook his head, “We have been diplomatic for years. All it leads to are smiling faces and knives in your back. Gartnait must be stopped.” Arran surveyed the faces of each person in the circle. “It does not need to be full out war. We could demand man-on-man combat. Gartnait believes himself the greatest fighter in Windenburg - he will not turn the offer down. We would follow the traditional stakes: the loser dies, the winner takes the loser’s wife.”

Maddox noticed the fear and fury in Brianna’s eyes at that last comment. She was pregnant again. He had not spoken to her since the night before the wedding, but knew enough about her to know how angry her current situation would make her: pregnant by a man she detested and now potentially doomed to be taken as the slave of another man. Maddox did not care if Arran died, but the thought of Brianna facing even more suffering was too unjust for him to bear.

“I’ll do it,” said Maddox, standing up. “I’ll fight Gartnait.” Arran considered Maddox deeply. Was this a show of loyalty? Or a recognition that death was better than a life with Orla? “So be it,” said Arran, “I’ll have word sent to Gartnait. Melody grew up as winter came to a close. Eoseph and Brianna also aged, Eoseph reaching teenhood ahead of Journey. 

Emfreir focused on making enough simoleons to move to Windenburg, determined to make a better life for her family with Brianna than the ones they’d known in Glimmerbrook. 

Because of this, she didn’t notice that Journey and Eoseph had drifted apart, after being best friends all their lives. Eoseph couldn’t seem to resist teasing Journey now that he was a teen. 

He found it all good fun, but Journey often did not. 

As their personalities began to clash, they each started to nurse a grudge against the other, upset that things were not like they once were, and that the other just didn’t seem to understand.

our founder of the live for something legacy challenge! as of 6/15/22, she's almost finished with her first of three aspirations, and currently living in san myshuno with her daughter Ruby, boyfriend Paolo, and his son, Trevor.

totally on purpose daughter of Brianna and Don (oops) and future heir. she's only recently aged up so she hasn't much time to exist and get a personality yet lol but she was quirky as hell as a toddler so i can imagine that being a common theme

Paolo Rocca

gen 1 and i'm already going off script. he was meant to be a fling but ended up sticking around and helping Brianna out when she was living alone and pregnant with Ruby. brianna and i both ended up totally falling for him so for the time being he's sticking around.

Trevor Rocca

goofy. ass. kid. he's a sweetheart but just has such awkward energy but he's adorable so we let it slide. Paolo adopted him very early on and he grew up in the 'partihaus' household in windenburg until his dad moved in with Brianna, so he definitely has frat baby energy.

family cat who was adopted on the first love day after the Roccos moved in with the Harveys. very sweet but very spoiled. adored by trevor. everyone else puts up with him.

penny pizzazz ; penny is a del sol valley native but san myshuno local since 18 when she scored a modelling gig with her co-manager vanessa jeong, besties since highschool. the 26 year old fashion designer and model has her own modelling business located in san myshuno, serious about her craft and work, penny is shown to play zero games when it comes to getting the thing done and her trusted and currently highest profile model brianna reardon knows that of all.

marcus flex ; marcus is a sba hall of famer and retired basketball icon, working as an coach for the windenburg stallions and running his basketball camp in windenburg for young and talented basketball players, marcus is highly respected in his field of work. marcus knows talent when he sees it and that's why he's reserving a spot for ishmael reardon as of currently. like penny, marcus is extremely strict and serious about his craft and getting things done and his method is tough love, when he yells, it's not out of angers it's out of love and many players learn to recognize the pattern.

donovan al fraser ; donovan is a sba hall of famer like marcus and actually played in the sba with marcus for some time before retired back in the mid 90s. donovan retired back in the early 2000s and has become a private basketball coach since then. a close friend of brian reardon, donovan took up the task of mentoring his son ishmael for marcus's basketball camp in windenburg. donovan skilled with the ball and technique, ishmael is already steps ahead of his peers in the field and is granted top stops in the big league.

ROUND 1. MOUNT KOMOREBI. SUMMER.

Brianna grew up very sheltered. She loves her family more than words can say and is grateful for everything they do for her but having four women constantly doting over her got a little overwhelming at times. It took a lot of convincing, but her family eventually agreed to let her go backpacking through the world for a bit. After promising that she would call every day, she took her dog and best friend Finya and everything she could fit into her backpack and was off to the biggest adventure of her life.
