Movie Review: 'Silent Night' (2023)
Director: John Woo Cast: Joel Kinnaman, Scott Mescudi, Harold Torres, Catalina Sandino Moreno Plot: When his son is killed by a stray bullet produced by gang warfare, Brian Godluck spends a year training and investigating the local gangs with the intent of getting violent revenge. Review: Going into a movie completely blind is always a better experience, unfortunately it’s not one we get often…

Chapters: 1/1 Fandom: Silent Night (2023) Rating: Teen And Up Audiences Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: Brian Godluck/Saya Godluck Characters: Brian Godluck, Saya Godluck Additional Tags: Angst, Hurt/Comfort, Everybody Lives, Alternate Universe - Everyone Lives/Nobody Dies Summary:
Saya gets the call as she's leaving the cemetery on Christmas morning. It's the first time she's heard from in in months, with the exception of the letter she found on their son's grave earlier that day. She should have expected something like this, given how far he's sank since the prior year. She is his next of kin after all, separation and different living arrangements be damned. She doesn't think she has it in her to show up at the hospital again, to see him in him prone in bed, attached to those machines. She barely hears anything the surgeons are tell her; he's has more gun shot wounds that no one should have survived, but here he is, lungs expanding, heart pounding in his chest.
