So, while I've talked about this in other posts, I figured I may as well compile it in one post with this nifty propaganda poster (more on that later)
Long story short, they're bringing back KOSA/the Kids Online Safety Act in the US Senate, and they're going to mark it up next Thursday as of the time of this post (4/23/2023).
If you don’t know, long story short KOSA is a bill that’s ostensibly one of those “Protect the Children” bills, but what it’s actually going to do is more or less require you to scan your fucking face every time you want to go on a website; or give away similarly privacy-violating information like your drivers’ license or credit card info.
Either that or force them to censor anything that could even remotely be considered not “kid friendly.” Not to mention fundies are openly saying they’re gonna use this to hurt trans kids. Which is, uh, real fucking bad.
As per usual, I urge you to contact your congresscritters, and especially those on the Commerce Committee, who'll likely be the ones marking it up.
Those senators are:
Maria Cantwell, Washington, Chair
Amy Klobuchar, Minnesota
Brian Schatz, Hawaii
Ed Markey, Massachusetts
Gary Peters, Michigan
Tammy Baldwin, Wisconsin
Tammy Duckworth, Illinois
Jon Tester, Montana
Kyrsten Sinema, Arizona
Jacky Rosen, Nevada
Ben Ray Luján, New Mexico
John Hickenlooper, Colorado
Raphael Warnock, Georgia
Peter Welch, Vermont
Ted Cruz, Texas, Ranking Member
John Thune, South Dakota
Roger Wicker, Mississippi
Deb Fischer, Nebraska
Jerry Moran, Kansas
Dan Sullivan, Alaska
Marsha Blackburn, Tennessee
Todd Young, Indiana
Ted Budd, North Carolina
Eric Schmitt, Missouri
J.D. Vance, Ohio
Shelley Moore Capito, West Virginia
Cynthia Lummis, Wyoming
Again, it doesn't work unless you do it en-masse, so make sure to call ASAP and tell them to kill this bill, and if they actually want a bill to allow/get sites to protect kids, the Federal Fair Access To Banking Act would be far better.
Also, this poster is officially, for the sake of spreading it, under a CC0 license. Feel free to spread it, remix it, add links to the bottom, edit it to be about the other bad internet bills they're pushing, use it as a meme format, do what you will but for gods' sake get the word out!
Also, shoutout to @o-hybridity for coming up with the slogan for the poster, couldn't have done it without 'em!

speaking of questions that exercise very mcr specific muscles in your brain. i was perusing mychem tumblr the other day and came across a masterpost about the SS/mayo blog frerard lore (i’m aware frerard is not PC these days thanks obama). i’ve been a dedicated fan for over a decade now and my brain is an mcr lore bank but i had literally never heard of this. do you know about it and if you do what are your thoughts
omg yea. ss/mayo is crazy. and unfortunately a lot of it has been lost to time and its not even saved on wayback. theres some stuff thats convincing, theres some stuff thats not.
so like lets preface this by saying that the ft willz myspace? confirmed to be frank. and obviously the stuff posted on skeleton crew, those screenshots of ft willz works that look like theyre on burnt paper? yea so those are confirmed and those are real fully frank no questions.
i personally am a skeptic of other accounts that claim to be ft willz. like the tumblr? i do not think thats frank. and i think that came at a time when people had already really speculated or figured out that ft willz WAS frank. so like i think the tumblr is honestly just someone who was pretending to be frank and managed to sort of emulate his style but yea i don't think it's him. i think the reason some of the stuff hits so hard in a frerard sense is because that was intentional by the person writing it. you know.
anyway ss and mayo. there were two blogs on blogspot started in 2007 i believe that fans thought were frank and gerard. well it started with mayo (its-mayonaise.blogspot.com). that blog is still up and so are a lot of the posts but i think a lot of them have been deleted as well, and not saved anywhere on wayback. im sure theyre on someones hard drive out there but i haven't seen them. then a blog appeared called iamthemodernprometheus.blogspot.com. some of those posts are still up but most are gone. that was ss/sss/shitsubou shita/frank (allegedly). ss started interacting in the comments on mayo's blog. and i think i may have read some mayo blog posts back in the day but i haven't been able to find them to answer this one. i just remember when i joined the fandom most people thought it was gerard.
now here's a couple things of evidence. THIS is a blogspot comment thread where people who have saved some of ss' blog posts put them in the comments. and yes obviously it could be an elaborate hoax by two fans who were invested in frerard. but like these things were being posted as it HAPPENED. you know? idk i wasnt there in 2007. but 2007 was when the fanfic took off and we really informed a lot of our perception of what happened with frerard on things like ft willz/stuff that happened on stage/and a lot of these posts really fit into the timeline. i would recommend reading that because its kind of hard to believe its like. a teenager pretending to be frank. it really just SOUNDS like frank. and he's really writing blog posts. basically to gerard lol. it gives the impression that they were on tour together (projekt rev) and doing the Thing but like there was def tension going on behind the scenes and we already know that thats true. frank didn't like eliza and thought gerard was moving too fast, the imnotokay.net post came from someone in mcr's camp that ppl thought was frank (or maybe brian) and then tbh its happening again?? just months later? it makes complete sense that if frank thought gerard was moving too fast with eliza that he DEFINITELY thought he was moving too fast with lynz getting MARRIED to her backstage just a couple months? after breaking off his engagement with eliza. anyway just read the comments. its very easy to believe its frank.
and then the other peice of evidece i found in this reddit thread: x comment in particular by u/ReallyKapu. they say that they have always gone by Kapunua online and that they met frank at a lm show, gave him a hat with the inscription 'sss' inside and later on he thanked them for it on the blog.
sure enough:
from what i've read it seems like the blog was actually a community. there were people who followed it and made friends in the comment section. and it does seem implausible but it looks to me like frank saved all of his gifts from tour and then made this post specifically thanking people for them. the person who claims this is them also says that they don't think mayo is actually gerard but that frank thought it was.
and i've seen stuff saying that if it wasn't gerard it was probably someone close to the band because they had like information that was posted on the blog that wouldn't come readily available (or make sense) until the show the next day.
anyway, i wasn't there for this. i was on the forums and twitter and tumblr for a LOT of mcr history but this was a little before my time and i think if i had been there OR if the blogs had actually been preserved in some way that i might be able to form a better opinion. i think theres a lot of evidence for frank, not sure about gerard. but i won't claim that it's true either bc we really don't know and this one i don't think we ever will!

How far can we take this AU thing?
At night, when was alone in her bed she’d think about the things she’d done. Hayley never really found guilt anytime she thought back. She did feel like what she was doing was wrong, though. Hayley knew that much, she just didn’t feel that bad about any of it, though. She’d made herself a nice small fortune and did it doing something she loved. Why did she love stealing from unsuspecting idiot men?
Who knows?
The tiny blonde had a mostly-typical upbringing. Her mom and dad split when she was five and Hayley saw her dad pretty often like most of her friends with their dads.
Christi was a good mom. She took care of Hayley. Loved her. Protected her. Encouraged her.
She didn’t have an unusual childhood. Others who had it far worse turned out normal. She had no excuse. No trauma to point at. No mental health problems ran in the family. No vendetta against men. Nothing to prove.
She just liked it. There was a thrill that came with it. And the better she got at it, the more fun it was. And Hayley loathed the idea of working a regular job somewhere earning a living wage. A living wage. What a joke. She was earning like a CEO and not once did she ever have to put out for anyone she didn’t want to. Everything was on her terms.
The tiny blonde could sleep in as late as she wanted. Skip a day of work if she chose, never needing to call anyone to tell them she was taking a sick day. She could do two in one day if she was on a roll. Or could abandon ship if the man she started chatting up turned out to be someone Hayley could actually see herself fucking. Because she did draw the line there.
If she started to become interested in the guy, or he was attractive enough, and he invited her back to his place Hayley would have a choice to make. She could stay the course, drug him, and then steal his watch and his money or she could just have a fun night with an attractive man at his place. The tiny blonde wouldn’t steal from someone she’d slept with. She had some moral boundaries.
Hayley was nice, though. She wasn’t like a bitch to anyone. But she guesses ask any of the men she’d stolen from and they’d have a different mind about that. She had a small handful of friends. She didn’t like letting people get too close, though. For good reason. Because when she got close it became harder to hide her dark secret. People always asked what she did for a living. What an intrusive question to ask anyone. Hayle always made up some lie about working online and inputting data for a medical corporation. Something that pointed to her making just enough money that would explain her nice clothes and expensive purses, but also that would have her home during the day.
Her best friend, Brian knows her secret. Probably her mom as well. Also, Joey who buys her stolen goods but that’s a different story. But that’s it. In the whole wide world, has one person that she’s told directly what she does (again, not counting Joey). Because she couldn’t hide it anymore. And Brian is still around. He’s her best friend. Now her mom, well, Hayley never told her but she knows. She’s not dumb.
The bank wouldn’t take big ass deposits like that at a time or there’d be some kind of flag on her account and it would get reported to the HMRC (protocol), so Hayley generally would only deposit £3,000 at a time. Which also meant she had a large stash of cash in her apartment at all times. She tried to space out the deposits. Had multiple bank accounts at different banks, and went to different branches in different locations but cash was difficult to work with at times. It was the only part of the job she hated. Dealing with all that cash. Especially when she preferred to save most of it. She usually bought herself nice things, but most of the money she didn’t touch. Hayley was serious about her future plan of buying a house for cash and getting lots of dogs.
Tonight, she planned on going to the Connaught again. The last time the tiny blonde was there was six months ago. She’d gotten a big hit with a B-list celebrity and she didn’t want to show her face around there for a while just in case he found her there or anyone recognized her somehow. Six months seemed like a good amount of time to wait.
Hayley stopped at her favorite café and picked up a ginger tea and scone to go. Then she walked to St. James Park to drink and eat her breakfast slash lunch in the sunshine.
She wondered who would be at the bar tonight. The Connaught was usually crawling with celebrities (lots of money). Hayley knew how to handle them all. It really didn’t take much though. Look cute, act dumb. Usually. There were a few times she’d encountered a celebrity or wealthy man who was looking for someone with substance, but that wasn’t what she was going for. The tiny blonde searched for the ones who wanted one fun night and nothing more.
Hayley was sitting on one of the benches near the pond and sipping her hot tea when a shadow appeared blocking the sun from her body. She looked up to see a tall man looking down at her. Instantly she sat up straight. He was very attractive.
“Hi… I was hoping you could point me in the direction of The Ritz hotel. I seem to be lost…” he looked at his cell phone and then held its screen to her face and Hayley laughed, placing her tea down next to her.
The tiny blonde stood up and smiled and noticed he didn’t have a watch on his wrist (old habit), “You’re definitely lost. But not too lost. The nearest Ritz is gonna be like a 9-minute walk from here. It’s that way,” she pointed in the direction of Mayfair, though it couldn’t be seen from where she was.
“Fuck. Well, thank you, I guess. I’m new here and went for a walk and found myself enjoying the sun and now here I am. Lost puppy in a big city.”
The man had thick, dark curly hair, honey-colored eyes, richly pigmented lips, and a jawline that could cut rock. And he was American. Clearly from out of town.
Hayley held out her hand and introduced herself and he quickly wrapped his big paw around hers and she saw the tattoo on his forearm. His clothes didn’t indicate that he was well-off. But sometimes it was hard to tell. Some rich guys didn’t give a fuck. This one didn’t. If he was, in fact, wealthy.
“Taylor. Nice to meet you. Is hard finding a friendly face in a new city. Do you live here?”
“I do. Not far from here. What are you in town for, Taylor?” the tiny blonde asked, keeping eye contact. She didn’t know if she should size him up for a job or see if she could get him to take her back to his hotel for a fuck. This guy looked like he could fuck. Tall and broad, deep voice, and big hands. A charming smile.
“Ahh, just work. Plan to be here for about a month. Staying at The Ritz while I’m in town,” he smirked at her and that was all Hayley needed to hear to know he was interested. Yeah, she’d fuck him.
“Is that so? For a month huh? Here, let me give you my number, you know, in case you need anyone to show you around. A friendly face like you said…” Hayley gestured toward his phone so she could put her number in and he unlocked it and opened up his messages app.
She was bold. The tiny blonde had no problem picking up a guy to sleep with. She just needed to be somewhat straightforward. Her jobs were different. Playing coy was the game when they wanted to feel like they were in charge. But when it came to actually fucking someone, she was in charge and she wanted them to know it.
“Seems quite forward to give your number to a complete stranger, Hayley” he spoke her name, wrapping his lips around the vowels in the most sensual way. That mouth of his could do some damage. she swallowed.
She laughed and shrugged, “Not really. It’s just a number. Now, what you do with it is up to you. If you’re bold, you’ll use it.”

Jack Cooke's Travel Log: ROBCO - 24/08/2277
(prev) (master) (next)
"Oh right, I've been so busy lately that I've forgotten to update you guys! God, where do I even start? I've gotten Brian all set up with Moira for the time being, He's going to be helping Moira around her shop 'til I can track down his aunt. Honestly wasn't entirely onboard with the idea of him working for her but Moira is right, better to keep his mind occupied with work than thinking about his dad."
"Speaking of his aunt, it turns out 'Rivet City' is some kinda settlement on the banks of the Potomac south of the ruins. It's also supposed to be built inside the wreck of an old aircraft carrier, so at least it'll be easy to spot! Getting there isn't going to be a walk in the park though, I've gotta wade my way through ferals, mutants and raiders first. Which means I have to stock up on supplies first"
"Of course, the wasteland being the wasteland that means I need caps first, and there is no easier way to get caps then help out Ol' Moira with her 'Wasteland Survival Guide'. She asked me to deliver this 'widget' (her words not mine) to an old ROBCO factory south-west of Megaton. It was supposed to bring the factory back online and reprogram the robots to work for you. Of course with it being the Wasteland and Moira, that's not what happened but that's spoilers for later!"
"Bit of a hike to get to the factory, took me over half a day to get over there! probably could've been faster if I went through Arlington, but I've heard some nasty rumors about that place so I 'ought to give it a wide berth for now.. did spot some point's of interest for later though, specifically an old Nuka Cola factory, I mean that's gotta have some good shit in it right?! I can imagine it now.. all that delicious Nuka Cola ripe for the takin'... uhm anyway, back to the matter at hand. On my way down I also spotted some kinda skyscraper in the distance! kinda odd it just sitting by itself there, I'll have to ask someone back in Megaton 'bout it!"
"When I got inside the factory I wasn't prepared for it to be so.. full of pests! It was full of mole rats and radroaches, you'd think a factory for a robotic's company would have decent security! but all of the protectrons were deactivated.. or dead.. actually isn't that the same thing to a robot? uhhm anyway, it explained the pest problem. The biggest problem I found was navigating the factory, a lot of the hallways were blocked by debris, so the entire factory turned into a maze of dusty, dilapidated hallyways!"
"Took me a while but I finally got to the factory control room, and installed Moira's 'widget' now, to be fair to her, it did work! the factory came back online and the robots reactivated! What Moira failed to mention is that when installing her 'widget' that a uh.. failsafe I think is the scientific word, would trip! making every robot, turret and I assume coffee machine believe that ROBCO was under communist attack! Which means I had to run for my life while being chased by 200 year old robots with lasers! I'm pretty sure there was a securitrion as well but I was too busy screaming and running for my life to look!"
"I was able to escape the facility as you can tell, with a few holes in my jumpsuit and singed hairs, and trust me I'll be having a few choice words with Moira when I get back...-"
#fallout#fallout 3#fallout oc#oc; jack#ooh we back!!#missed writing for my boy#fun lil adventure of his to get back into the swing of things!#next entry is fort independence! while jack is on the way to arlington library#that entire arlington section is going to take a few entries to get through lol#also having moira look after brian?#I mean it's kinda weird how you just leave this child in a burning ruin of his old town#so i figured Jack would take him with him back to Megaton#at first I thought about just having Jack pay for like a hotel room until he finds rivet city#but I also thought that maybe Jack would want to entrust him to somebody he can trust#she'd probably be eager to have an assistant help out as well so she can work on the survival guide more#also trying to add more of Jacks comedic side...#well his attempts at being comedic anyway#he has a bad habit of not taking situations as seriously as he should and i wanna show that more#maybe i should come up with a new banner for these as well#make them more themed towards jack..#just like a few items that he likes or smn

Exploring the World of BriansClub: A Deep Dive into Cybersecurity Risks
In the digital age, the rapid rise of online platforms has brought both innovation and vulnerabilities. Among the countless platforms that make headlines, BriansClub has gained notoriety as a hub for illicit activities in the cyber underworld. This guest post explores BriansClub, its role in cybercrime, and the implications it has on cybersecurity, providing a wake-up call for individuals and organizations alike.
Understanding BriansClub
BriansClub is an infamous online marketplace associated with cybercriminal activities, particularly the trade of stolen credit card data. Named after its creator, the platform operates on the dark web, offering a haven for hackers and cybercriminals to monetize stolen information. Over the years, BriansClub has become a symbol of the growing sophistication and organization of cybercrime.
The platform functions as a marketplace where users can buy and sell compromised credit card details. With millions of stolen card details reportedly available, BriansClub poses a significant threat to both individuals and businesses worldwide. The stolen data often comes from phishing attacks, data breaches, or skimming devices, highlighting the importance of robust cybersecurity measures.
How BriansClub Operates
BriansClub operates in the shadows of the dark web, accessible only through specialized browsers like Tor. Its operations are highly organized, with clear rules for buyers and sellers. Users are required to create accounts and use cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin to ensure anonymity. The marketplace features a user-friendly interface where cybercriminals can search for credit card information by country, card type, and other filters.
The platform’s rise is attributed to its ability to stay ahead of law enforcement and adapt to evolving cybersecurity measures. BriansClub continually updates its databases, offering fresh stolen data to maintain its reputation as a reliable source for cybercriminals.
The Impact of BriansClub
Financial Losses The primary victims of brians club are individuals and financial institutions. Stolen credit card data often leads to unauthorized transactions, causing significant financial losses for cardholders and banks. According to reports, the platform has facilitated the theft of millions of dollars over the years.
Identity Theft Beyond financial theft, the misuse of personal information from stolen credit cards can lead to identity theft. Cybercriminals may use this information to open fraudulent accounts, apply for loans, or commit other forms of fraud.
Reputational Damage For businesses, being associated with a data breach that fuels platforms like BriansClub can result in severe reputational damage. Customers lose trust in companies that fail to protect their data, which can have long-term consequences on brand loyalty and revenue.
Cybersecurity Challenges BriansClub highlights the ever-evolving nature of cyber threats. Traditional security measures are often insufficient to combat such sophisticated operations, forcing organizations to invest in advanced cybersecurity solutions.
Lessons for Individuals and Organizations
The existence of platforms like brians club underscores the importance of cybersecurity awareness and vigilance. Here are some essential steps individuals and businesses can take to protect themselves:
For Individuals:
Use Strong Passwords: Create complex passwords and avoid reusing them across multiple platforms. Utilize password managers to keep track of your credentials.
Monitor Financial Statements: Regularly review your bank and credit card statements for unauthorized transactions. Promptly report any suspicious activity to your financial institution.
Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Add an extra layer of security to your online accounts by enabling 2FA wherever possible.
Be Cautious Online: Avoid clicking on suspicious links or downloading attachments from unknown sources, as these can be gateways for phishing attacks.
For Organizations:
Invest in Advanced Cybersecurity Measures: Implement firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption to safeguard sensitive data.
Conduct Regular Security Audits: Periodically review and update your security protocols to address emerging threats.
Educate Employees: Train employees on cybersecurity best practices, as human error is often the weakest link in the security chain.
Respond Quickly to Breaches: Have an incident response plan in place to minimize damage in the event of a data breach.
The Future of Cybersecurity
As platforms like BriansClub continue to thrive, the need for robust cybersecurity measures has never been greater. Governments, businesses, and individuals must work together to combat cybercrime and ensure a safer digital environment. This includes stronger regulations, international cooperation, and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning for threat detection.
Conclusion
Brians club serves as a stark reminder of the dark side of the digital age. While it operates in the shadows, its impact is felt globally, causing financial losses and exposing vulnerabilities in cybersecurity. By understanding the operations and implications of platforms like BriansClub, we can take proactive steps to protect ourselves and contribute to a more secure online world.
The fight against cybercrime is far from over, but with awareness, vigilance, and collaboration, we can make significant strides toward safeguarding our digital lives.

McCraner v. Wells Fargo & Co.
Opinion
21-cv-1246-LAB-WVG
03-30-2023
JOHN MCCRANER, SHARON STIANSEN, JANET POLLARD, MICHAEL DARLINGTON, SUSAN R. LANDREAU, JOHN N. TUFFIELD, individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated, Plaintiffs, v. WELLS FARGO & COMPANY, a corporation, WELLS FARGO BANK, N.A., a national banking association, Defendants.
Hon. Larry Alan Burns, United States District Judge.
ORDER: 1) DENYING IN PART AND GRANTING IN PART MOTION TO DISMISS FIRST AMENDED COMPLAINT, [DKT. 26]; 2) DENYING MOTION TO STRIKE CLASS ALLEGATIONS, [DKT. 28]; AND 3) GRANTING REQUEST FOR JUDICIAL NOTICE, [DKT. 29]
Hon. Larry Alan Burns, United States District Judge.
Plaintiffs John McCraner, Sharon Stiansen, Janet Pollard, Michael Darlington, Susan R. Landreau, and John N. Tuffield (collectively, “Plaintiffs”) filed this putative class action against Defendants Wells Fargo & Company and Wells Fargo, N.A. (collectively, “Wells Fargo”) for providing banking services to three separate fraudulent marketing schemes. Phillip Peikos, David Barnett, Brian Phillips, Richard Fowler, Ryan Fowler, and Nathan Martinez (collectively, the “Principals”) operated three online subscription scams through their companies Apex Capital Group, LLC (“Apex”), controlled by Peikos and Barnett, Triangle Media Corporation (“Triangle”), controlled by Phillips, and Tarr Inc. (“Tarr,” and, together with Apex and Triangle, the “Enterprises”), controlled by the Fowlers and Martinez. Each of the Enterprises relied on banking services from Wells Fargo to effect its fraudulent scheme.
Plaintiffs assert four claims against Wells Fargo: aiding and abetting fraud; conspiracy to commit fraud; violation of California Penal Code § 496; and violation of California's Unfair Competition Law (“UCL”). Wells Fargo moves to dismiss each claim, (Dkt. 26), and to strike Plaintiffs' class allegations, (Dkt. 28). Having reviewed the parties' filings and the relevant law, the Court GRANTS IN PART and DENIES IN PART the motion to dismiss, and DENIES the motion to strike.
I. BACKGROUND
Wells Fargo provided the Enterprises with banking services between 2009 and 2018. (Dkt. 23, First Amended Complaint (“FAC”) ¶¶ 8, 153, 165, 169-70, 201). Each Enterprise operated online “free trial” scams, promising customers risk-free trials while actually signing them up for expensive subscriptions that would automatically charge their accounts at regular intervals unless affirmatively cancelled. (Id. ¶ 2). To run these scams, the Enterprises relied on merchant processing services to charge customers' credit cards. (Id. ¶ 3). But the nature of the schemes made continued access to legitimate banking services difficult: as customers challenged the Enterprises' charges at higher than average rates, merchant processors would be unwilling to work with them. (Id. ¶¶ 69-72).
The FAC's non-conclusory allegations specific to Tarr are limited and include broad assertions that Tarr was engaged in conduct similar to that of the other Enterprises and that Wells Fargo provided Tarr with similar services. (See FAC ¶¶ 207-14). For the purposes of this order only, the Court will credit those allegations and treat Tarr as being situated similarly to Apex and Triangle.
To conceal their fraudulent activities, the Enterprises created numerous shell companies and opened merchant accounts in these companies' names. (Id. ¶ 71). The Enterprises routed transactions through these shell accounts and cycled funds between accounts if one was shut down, a scheme known as “credit card laundering.” (See, e.g., id. ¶¶71-73). To ensure continued access to merchant processing services, the Principals hid their personal involvement with the shell companies by recruiting straw owners. (Id. ¶¶ 77, 84, 106, 121-22, 157). Wells Fargo complied with the Enterprises' requests that that the Principals retain control over the accounts even though they weren't listed as the account owners. (Id. ¶¶ 125, 159).
During Wells Fargo's extended relationship with the Enterprises, it received signals that the Enterprises were engaging in misconduct. Monthly account statements reflected chargeback rates much higher than the industry standard. (Id. ¶¶ 98, 111-13, 192, 228). And when certain Apex-affiliated accounts lost merchant processing services due to high chargeback rates, Apex closed them and opened new ones with new shell companies and new straw owners. (Id. ¶¶ 97-99).
Wells Fargo knew that the shell companies and straw owners weren't the true account owners. (Id. ¶ 81). When Apex applied for merchant processing services with Wells Fargo for two shell companies, Wells Fargo noticed that one company's accounts listed Barnett as owner, but its application listed different owners. (Id. ¶¶ 126, 128). Apex directed Wells Fargo to change the ownership of the account without Barnett's involvement. (Id. ¶ 127). When that change wasn't possible, Apex instead applied on behalf of another pair of shell companies with the same address, purportedly owned by Apex's CFO. (Id. ¶¶ 128, 133). Apex had told Wells Fargo only days before that such accounts should remain under Peikos's control. (Id. ¶ 122). Wells Fargo ultimately rejected the application for merchant processing services, explaining Apex's “high-risk” business selling supplements was an “unqualified business model.” (Id. ¶¶ 140-41).
After declining to offer Apex merchant processing services, Wells Fargo helped Apex secure those services elsewhere by providing reference letters. A year before rejecting Apex's application, Wells Fargo removed Barnett's name from ten reference letters for various shell companies at his request, concealing Barnett and Apex's association with the shells. (Id. ¶ 101). Wells Fargo continued supplying anonymized reference letters even after it determined that the Apex shell companies weren't qualified for Wells Fargo's own merchant processing services. (See id. ¶¶ 149, 152).
Wells Fargo also knew that Triangle was using straw owners. Wells Fargo granted Phillips's request that other individuals be listed as “100% owners” of the accounts he opened, but also gave him immediate access to and full control of the accounts. (Id. ¶ 159). Wells Fargo also sent Phillips pre-filled paperwork identifying him as the owner of Triangle-affiliated shell companies' accounts, instead of those companies' purported owners. (Id. ¶ 182).
The FAC's factual allegations regarding Tarr are more limited. Tarr had a P.O. Box address and a young manager, (Id. ¶ 207), and was engaged in a business that generated “an unusually high volume of chargebacks,” (id. ¶ 208). In a separate action, the FTC alleges that Tarr diverted funds from shell companies to other Tarr entities. (Id. ¶ 209). Online reviews and “television personality Dr. Oz” claimed that Tarr was a scam. (Id. ¶¶ 210-11).
During the relevant period, Wells Fargo opened more than 150 accounts for shell companies and straw owners associated with Apex and Triangle. (Id. ¶ 6). Millions of dollars passed through these accounts, and these funds were transferred to accounts belonging to Apex, Triangle, Tarr, or the Principals. (Id. ¶¶ 6, 85).
In 2017 and 2018, the Federal Trade Commission (“FTC”) brought separate actions against each of the Enterprises. (Id. ¶¶ 17-18, 23, 28); FTC v. Apex Cap. Grp. LLC (FTC v. Apex), No. 18-cv-9573-JFW-JPR (C.D. Cal.); FTC v. Triangle Media Corp. (FTC v. Triangle), No. 18-cv-1388-LAB-WVG (S.D. Cal.); FTC v. Tarr Inc., No. 17-cv-2024-LAB-KSC (S.D. Cal.). Subsequently, Thomas W. McNamara (the “Receiver”) was appointed as receiver for Apex and Triangle. (FAC ¶¶ 18, 23); FTC v. Apex, ECF Nos. 40-41; FTC v. Triangle, ECF No. 11. As relevant here, the Receiver received court approval to bring claims against Wells Fargo stemming from the Triangle Receivership, FTC v. Triangle, ECF No. 142, and filed a companion case against Wells Fargo in this Court the same day this action was filed, McNamara v. Wells Fargo & Co., No. 21-cv-1245-LAB-DDL (S.D. Cal. July 8, 2021), ECF No. 1. Plaintiffs here share counsel with the Receiver. (FAC ¶ 5).
Plaintiffs filed their original Complaint on July 8, 2021, alleging that each of them was defrauded by one of the Enterprises. (Dkt. 1). The Court dismissed the Complaint for failing to allege facts sufficient to demonstrate that Wells Fargo had actual knowledge the Enterprises were defrauding consumers. (Dkt. 22). Plaintiffs subsequently filed the FAC, which added new allegations in an attempt to remedy the shortcomings in the original Complaint. (See FAC ¶¶ 215-42). Wells Fargo now moves to dismiss the FAC's four claims, (Dkt. 26), and to strike the FAC's class allegations, (Dkt. 27).

The Enterprises allegedly defrauded plaintiffs John McCraner
Larry Alan Burns United States District Judge.
Phillip Peikos, David Barnett, Brian Phillips, Richard Fowler, Ryan Fowler, and Nathan Martinez (collectively, the “Principals”) operated three separate online subscription scams through their companies Apex Capital Group, LLC (“Apex”), controlled by Peikos and Barnett, Triangle Media Corporation (“Triangle”), controlled by Phillips, and Tarr Inc. (“Tarr, ” and collectively with Apex and Triangle, the “Enterprises”), controlled by the Fowlers and Martinez. Each of the Enterprises relied on banking services from defendants Wells Fargo & Company and Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. (together, “Wells Fargo” or the “Bank”) to effect their fraudulent schemes.
Sharon Stiansen, Janet Pollard, Michael Darlington, Susan R. Landreau, and John N. Tuffield (collectively, “Plaintiffs”). Plaintiffs filed this putative class action against Wells Fargo asserting four claims: aiding and abetting fraud; conspiracy to commit fraud; violation of Cal. Penal Code § 496; and violation of Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 17200. Wells Fargo moves to dismiss each claim.
Each of Plaintiffs' claims requires that they allege facts sufficient to support the inference that Wells Fargo had actual knowledge of the Enterprises' fraud against the Plaintiffs. Because Plaintiffs don't meet this requirement, Wells Fargo's Motion to Dismiss is GRANTED, and each claim is DISMISSED WITHOUT PREJUDICE. And because Wells Fargo's separate Motion to Strike is directed to allegations in the now-dismissed complaint, that Motion is DENIED AS MOOT.

At least 64 dead and millions without power after Helene’s deadly march across the Southeast (AP) Massive rains from powerful Hurricane Helene left people stranded, without shelter and awaiting rescue Saturday, as the cleanup began from a tempest that killed at least 64 people, caused widespread destruction across the U.S. Southeast and left millions without power. “I’ve never seen so many people homeless as what I have right now,” said Janalea England, of Steinhatchee, Florida, a small river town along the state’s rural Big Bend, as she turned her commercial fish market into a storm donation site for friends and neighbors, many of whom couldn’t get insurance on their homes. Helene blew ashore in Florida’s Big Bend region as a Category 4 hurricane late Thursday with winds of 140 mph (225 kph). From there, it quickly moved through Georgia, where Gov. Brian Kemp said Saturday that it “looks like a bomb went off” after viewing splintered homes and debris-covered highways from the air. Weakened, Helene then soaked the Carolinas and Tennessee with torrential rains, sending creeks and rivers over their banks and straining dams.
Mexico’s populist president held court each morning for 6 years (AP) Every day at 7 a.m., President Andrés Manuel López Obrador strolls onto a stage in Mexico’s National Palace, clad in a smart suit and tie, and peers out at a room of bleary-eyed reporters and social media personalities. “Buenos días, look alive!” the 70-year-old leader calls out in a gravelly voice. And the show begins. Throughout his nearly six-year term in office, López Obrador’s morning media briefings, known as “las mañaneras,” have provided him with a powerful tool: a direct line to his political base, broadcast live on government and local news channels, and streaming online. Without pausing to take bathroom breaks or even a sip of water, the president stands at the podium talking for sometimes more than three hours, often in long, roundabout musings or rambling diatribes, all in simple language that anyone tuning in can understand. The daily briefings are emblematic of the particular brand of folksy populism that López Obrador wielded to become one of the most powerful political forces Mexico has seen in decades. It’s a model that his successor and protege, President-elect Claudia Sheinbaum, will be hard-pressed to emulate.
Argentina records sharp rise in poverty (BBC) More than half of Argentina’s 46 million people are now living in poverty, new figures indicate, in a blow to right-wing President Javier Milei’s efforts to turn around the country’s beleaguered economy. The poverty figure for the first six months of this year was 52.9%, up from 41.7% in the second half of 2023, said the country’s Indec statistics agency. Since taking office in December, Milei has slashed subsidies for transport, fuel and energy and sacked thousands of civil servants, as he seeks to bring down inflation and reduce government expenditure. Argentina’s annual inflation rate in August remained one of the highest in the world at more than 230%. Speaking at a news conference, government spokesperson Manuel Adorni blamed previous left-leaning Peronist governments for the current troubles. He described the increase in poverty as “a consequence of the populism that has subjected Argentina to so many years of misfortune and devastation”.
Italy revives policy of failing badly behaved pupils to ‘bring back respect’ (Guardian) Italy has reinstated a measure to fail badly behaved pupils as concerns grow over aggression directed at teachers. The “grades for conduct” policy is part of an education bill that was approved in parliament on Wednesday, and gives schools the power to fail students based purely on their behaviour. Middle school and high school pupils who score five or less out of 10 on conduct will fail the year and face having to repeat it even if their academic standard is up to par. Giuseppe Valditara, the education minister in Giorgia Meloni’s government, said: “The grades-for-conduct reform restores the importance of individual responsibility, makes respect of people and public goods central and restores the authoritativeness of teachers.” Meloni has previously said the change would “bring back respect” in schools. The law, embraced by ANP, Italy’s association of headteachers, follows a more than 110% rise in aggressive incidents towards teaching staff since the beginning of the year compared with 2023. In many cases teachers have needed medical treatment, while in others the perpetrators were the pupils’ parents. Students often clash with their teachers over the use of mobile phones in class.
Flooding in Nepal’s capital kills at least 32 people (AP) Flooding caused by continuous rainfall has killed at least 32 people in Nepal’s capital, and another 12 are missing, police said Saturday. Rains have been pounding since Friday night and are expected to continue over the weekend. Seventeen people were also injured while 1,053 were rescued across Kathmandu. The government had issued flood warnings across the Himalayan nation warning of a massive rainfall. Buses were banned from travelling at night on highways and cars were discouraged from the roads.
Mongolia aims to free itself from Russia and China (NZZ/Switzerland) The landlocked country of Mongolia is stuck between Russia and China, dependent on both for energy and trade. Its government now wants more options. With only 2.2 inhabitants per square kilometer and a population of 3.4 million, Mongolia is the most sparsely populated country in the world. But with a land mass almost four times larger than the U.S. state of California, it is increasingly playing a role in the region’s geopolitical struggles. The country would like to escape its neighbors’ economic chokehold. Russia, which provides much of Mongolia’s power, has blocked the country’s efforts to build a major hydroelectric plant. China sometimes shuts down the critical southern border when Mongolia steps away from the Beijing party line, as during a visit by the Dalai Lama. Mongolia’s policymakers are now increasingly seeking ties with Western counties such as Germany and France. Yet trade agreements and visits by Western leaders have as yet yielded few tangible benefits. Democratic Mongolia, surrounded by two autocracies, makes for an attractive photo-op for Western leaders. But tangible results have been scarce. In stark contrast, Chinese businesses are rapidly expanding their footprint. Time may be running out for the West to have any influence.
This Is What Can Land You in Jail for Sedition in Hong Kong (NYT) Wearing a T-shirt with a protest slogan. Scrawling pro-democracy graffiti on public bus seats. Criticizing Xi Jinping on social media. Three men in Hong Kong were sentenced to prison last week for these acts of protest, which in another era probably would have drawn little notice—showing the power of a newly expanded national security law aimed at muzzling dissent. The rulings, rendered over two days by a judge whom Hong Kong’s leader handpicked, highlight the political transformation that has taken place here. A financial center and a city accustomed to freedom of political expression, Hong Kong now more closely resembles mainland China, where criticism of the ruling Communist Party is rarely, if ever, tolerated.
Ex-Defense Minister Ishiba chosen to lead Japan’s ruling party and become prime minister (AP) Japan’s governing party on Friday picked former Defense Minister Shigeru Ishiba as its leader, setting him up to become prime minister next week. The party leadership is a ticket to the top job because the Liberal Democratic Party’s governing coalition controls parliament. The LDP, which has enjoyed nearly unbroken rule since World War II, may have seen Ishiba’s more centrist views as crucial in pushing back challenges by the liberal-leaning opposition and winning voter support as the party reels from corruption scandals that drove down outgoing Prime Minister Fumio Kishida’s popularity. Ishiba has proposed an Asian version of the NATO military alliance, and said Friday that the idea is to form “an organic connection” of existing U.S.-led defense networks such as the ANZUS alliance with Australia and New Zealand and its alliances with South Korea and the Philippines.
Nasrallah’s death stuns Lebanon, as Israel pummels Beirut (Washington Post) The Lebanese militant group Hezbollah confirmed Saturday that its longtime leader, Hasan Nasrallah, was killed in an Israeli strike, leaving a void analysts said the group would struggle to fill and pushing its battle with Israel—Nasrallah’s last—on an uncertain and possibly more violent path. Hezbollah announced the death in a statement, confirming Nasrallah was killed in a massive Israeli strike in Beirut’s southern suburbs that flattened residential buildings. Hezbollah tried to project continuity of leadership and mission Saturday—saying it would continue “confronting the enemy.” Columns of smoke rose from Beirut’s southern suburbs Saturday, as Israeli strikes there, in southern Lebanon and in the Bekaa Valley continued. It was part of an escalated assault on Hezbollah that began last week with suspected Israeli attacks using exploding pagers. Since Sep. 16, more than 1,000 people in Lebanon have been killed, including at least 87 children, the health ministry said Saturday. As Israel has touted a pinpoint campaign on Hezbollah assets, Lebanese health authorities have reported entire extended families vaporized in some of the strikes.
Europeans, Arab and Muslim nations launch a new initiative for an independent Palestinian state (AP) European, Arab and Islamic nations have launched an initiative to strengthen support for a Palestinian state and its institutions, and prepare for a future after the war in Gaza and escalating conflict in Lebanon, Norway’s foreign minister said Friday. Espen Barth Eide told The Associated Press that “there is a growing consensus in the international community from Western countries, from Arab countries, from the Global South, that we need to establish a Palestinian Authority, a Palestinian government, a Palestinian state—and the Palestinian state has to be recognized.” The effort is unlikely to gain traction with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The ZiG zags (Bloomberg) Zimbabwe raised interest rates and devalued its gold-backed currency by 43%, following persistent weakness in the ZiG amid deep skepticism that the nation’s latest bid to create a viable local unit would succeed. The ZiG, backed by the southern African nation’s gold and hard currency reserves, was introduced in early April to replace the Zimbabwean dollar, which had lost around 80% of its value since the start of the year. The sixth attempt to stand up a local currency since 2009 was immediately met with doubt from Zimbabweans.
Solar power (Die Zeit/Germany) Seldom in human history has one technology spread across the planet so rapidly: at the beginning of the millennium, almost no one generated electricity from solar radiation. But now, photovoltaic plants are ubiquitous—and global capacity is growing exponentially. In the 15 years between 2008 and 2023, the worldwide capacity of solar energy infrastructure has increased about a hundredfold. Growth could continue at a similar pace this year, according to a forecast by London-based energy think tank Ember. The most striking piece of data is that almost half of all solar plants worldwide are located in China. The Asian superpower is playing a crucial role in the solar boom: not only is it increasingly relying on solar energy for its own energetic supply, but it is also supplying the rest of the world with photovoltaic modules.

Tupperware Brands, the company once synonymous with colorful food storage containers, filed for bankruptcy protection in Delaware on Tuesday. The move comes after years of financial struggles and dwindling consumer demand, marking a significant downturn for the iconic brand that became a household name in the 1950s.
Declining Sales and Distribution Struggles
Tupperware’s popularity surged in the mid-20th century with the rise of “Tupperware parties,” empowering women of the post-war era to sell products from their homes. However, in recent years, the company has faced declining sales. One of the main issues has been its difficulty in adapting to modern retail environments and online platforms, with the company continuing to rely on independent sales representatives. According to Tupperware Chief Restructuring Officer Brian Fox, the brand remains well-known, but customers have struggled to find its products, further contributing to its financial challenges.
Mounting Debt and Bankruptcy Filing
The company has faced increasing financial pressure, reporting $812 million in debt. A portion of this debt was acquired by distressed debt investors in July, who aimed to use their position to seize Tupperware’s assets, including its brand and intellectual property. In response, Tupperware files for bankruptcy protection to shield itself from creditors and explore potential buyers. Despite a recent financial boost and debt restructuring efforts, the company’s high leverage and shrinking profit margins became too burdensome, according to James Gellert, executive chairman of financial analytics firm RapidRatings.
Looking for a Buyer Amid Bankruptcy Process
Tupperware files for bankruptcy and announces plans to continue operations during the process, initiating a 30-day bidding period to find a buyer for the entire company. Despite its financial challenges, Tupperware remains determined to explore strategic options to save the brand. In 2023, the company signed an agreement with investment bank Moelis & Co to help navigate these options.
The company has estimated assets between $500 million and $1 billion, while its liabilities range between $1 billion and $10 billion. As Tupperware navigates its bankruptcy process, its future remains uncertain, yet the brand remains hopeful for a potential turnaround.

Can Israel Make Peace with Hamas? Open To Debate's Latest Episode
After the October 7th attack, Israel vowed to eradicate Hamas and has been at war since beginning their counter-operation in Gaza. Now, after ten months of war, a hostage crisis, and an increasing death toll, Israel and Hamas have been in negotiation talks, which could be complicated by the death of Hamas's political leader Ismail Haniyeh.
Should Israel agree to a permanent ceasefire? On its new episode, out now, the nonpartisan debate podcast Open to Debate tackles the question – “Can Israel Make Peace with Hamas?” Arguing “YES” is Cenk Uygur, Founder and Host of The Young Turks Network. Arguing “NO” is Ex-Palestinian Militant, Former Israeli Spy, Son of Hamas Co-Founder, and Author of From Hamas to America Mosab Hassan Yousef. Emmy award-winning journalist John Donvan moderates.
Those who champion Israel and Hamas reaching an agreement argue there needs to be logical pathways to peace and preventing starvation and further loss of life. Those who are against making peace with Hamas argue a ceasefire deal won't stop Hamas's desire to kill Israelis, or the chances of the group rearming, regrouping, and attacking again. More information on each debater is below.
ARGUING YES
*Cenk Uygur: Founder and Host of The Young Turks Network
Cenk Uygur is the CEO and founder of TYT, host of The Young Turks, the largest online news show in the world, and co-founded the Justice Democrats. Cenk is also the bestselling author of “Justice is Coming”. Uygur launched The Young Turks as a talk show on Sirius Satellite Radio in 2002 and started uploading videos to YouTube in 2005. Since then, He’'s also appeared on “Cuomo Prime Time”, ABC News’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos”, NPR, Headline News, E!, Al Jazeera, Voice of America, WNYC’s “The Brian Lehrer Show”, and Fox News Channel.
QUOTES FROM CENK UYGUR (ARGUING YES) "The idea that there is no occupation makes you sound like you live in an alternate reality. The rest of the planet realizes there's a brutal, horrible occupation of five and a half million people. It's happened for 57 years." "Where do you want five and a half million people to go? Do you want them just to stay as prisoners? Do you want them to be ethnically cleansed into a different country? What do you want to happen to them?" "They don't have independence. They can't control their borders. They think they are occupied by their enemies, which is an empirical fact. What do you want to do with them if you don't want to do peace?"
ARGUING NO
Mosab Hassan Yousef: Ex-Palestinian Militant, Former Israeli Spy, Son of Hamas Co-Founder, and Author of From Hamas to America
Mosab Hassan Yousef was born in the West Bank. His father, Sheikh Hassan Yousef, is the founder of the political wing of Hamas, which is recognized as a terrorist organization. Yousef was an integral part of the movement, for which he was imprisoned for more than 27 months by the Shin Bet, the Israeli intelligence service. He withstood torture in prison only to discover Hamas was torturing their own people in a search for collaborators. He began to question who his enemies really were. Yousef became a double agent and started a six-year quest that jeopardized Hamas, endangered his family, and threatened his life. Yousef’s first book, “Son of Hamas”, became an international New York Times bestseller and is the basis for the documentary “The Green Prince”, which premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival where it was awarded Best Documentary and received other awards at the Moscow International Film Festival and the Israeli Film Festival. QUOTES FROM MOSAB HASSAN YOUSEF (ARGUING NO)
"What Hamas did on October 7th was barbaric, was a genocide, motivated by sick religion. They attempted to ethnically cleanse a race. A human race. And this is a capital crime that cannot be forgiven. The situation to legitimize such a movement ... give them legitimacy. And after that, in fact, to sit down on the negotiating table, then reward them with a state and political gain, and financial gain. This is exactly what they wanted."
"The vast majority of so-called Palestinians in the territories, whether in the West Bank or Gaza, the vast majority of the Muslim world have been supporting Hamas. And the reason, not because they know what Hamas is, not because they understand Hamas ideology. The reason, it's because of their antisemitic approach, because of their hatred of the Jewish people, and they found their angry cause."

Photo by Lucy Kennedy | JPMorgan Chase/CourtesyJPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon says he’s hopeful the Federal Reserve can bring down inflation without causing a recession but wouldn’t rule out more troubling possibilities, such as stagflation. In an interview with The Associated Press at a Chase branch opening in The Bronx, Dimon said he remained “cautious” about the U.S. economy and said inflation may be stickier for longer and that “stagflation is on the list of possible things” that could happen to the U.S. economy.“You should be worried about [the possibility of stagflation],” Dimon said.Dimon did emphasize that he’s still “hopeful” for the U.S. economy to experience a soft landing, where growth slows but the economy avoids a recession even if inflation remains a little high, but he’s not certain that is the most likely outcome.“I’m just a little more dubious than others that a [soft landing] is a given,” he said. The Fed rapidly raised interest rates in 2022 and 2023 after inflation reached the highest level in four decades. Fed officials have indicated they expect to begin lowering rates at some point, but the timeline has been pushed back as inflation remains well above the central bank’s target rate of 2 percent.Dimon spoke to the AP on a range of issues, including the economy, the independence of the Federal Reserve, the need for banks to open branches and the pressing geopolitical issues of the day.Inflation has been stubbornly elevated so far this year, and a report Thursday showing growth slowed in the first three months of this year fanned fears of “stagflation,” which occurs when the economy is weak, or in recession, yet prices keep moving higher. It’s a particularly miserable combination of economic circumstances, with high unemployment occurring along with rising costs. Typically, a sluggish economy brings down inflation.Stagflation last occurred in the 1970s, when conditions were far worse than today. In 1975, for example, inflation topped 10 percent while the unemployment rate peaked at 9 percent. Inflation is now 3.5 percent and unemployment just 3.8 percent, near a half-century low. If stagflation did occur, Dimon said he believes it would not be as bad as it was in the 1970s.Fears of stagflation eased Friday after a government report showed consumer spending stayed strong in March, suggesting the economy will keep expanding at a solid pace in the coming months.Dimon said he was “thrilled” that Congress was able to pass the bipartisan national security bill that provided military aid to Ukraine, Taiwan and Israel. In previous comments, Dimon has said it was important for there to be “American leadership” on the world stage, or else the U.S. would likely cede that position to China in the next century. Dimon had pushed hard for the U.S. to come up with the billions of dollars needed to aid Ukraine.“I think it’s a really good sign they want to get that done,” Dimon said, referring to House Speaker Mike Johnson, as well as Senate leaders on both sides of the political aisle.Dimon also emphasized the need for the Federal Reserve to remain independent, following a report by The Wall Street Journal this week that said advisors for former President Trump were considering ways to curb the independence of the Fed should again be elected. The steps could include making the Fed’s chairman removable by the president or requiring the president to be consulted on any changes to interest rates.“I don’t know what these people are thinking, or how they think they are going to go about this,” Dimon said, saying that any changes would likely require legislation.
Chase was opening its 17th “community center” branch on Friday. These are larger branches that are designed for low-to-moderate income areas. They are designed with multipurpose areas that do workshops and financial literacy work for communities in need.Dimon has tried to highlight JPMorgan’s work with low income communities and minority borrowers in recent years. He spent six pages on his most recent annual shareholder letter explaining how important for JPMorgan to be involved in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, pushing back on mostly right-wing politicians and business executives who say the work is unnecessary.“These things are good business,” Dimon said. They lift up neighborhoods to help our country. And we’re unabashed about it. I don’t understand why people say they shouldn’t be trying to lift up your country.”Glennys Arias, 43, lives in the Bronx and works as an Uber driver. She’s been banking with Chase for six months and said she typically comes to use the ATM, for check cashing, and to check on her credit. She said the branch has met her needs and she hadn’t heard about the expansion or upcoming classes or events. “I didn’t know about any of that, but I’d come for that,” she said, of the programming. In off-the-cuff remarks, Dimon noted the steady stream of customers.“I love the fact that so many people are walking in here. So many people are nervous about how they’ll be treated when they walk into a bank branch.”Source Link: https://bankerandtradesman.com/jpmorgans-dimon-says-stagflation-possible/Chae Bank Mattapan branch manager Brian Samuel cuts the ribbon for the “community cente… http://109.70.148.72/~merchant29/6network/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/JPMorgans-Dimon-Says-Stagflation-Possible.jpg Chae Bank Mattapan branch manager Brian Samuel cuts the ribbon for the “community center” on Nov. 23, 2021, with JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon, to Samuel’s left, and community leaders in attendance.
So many people are nervous about how they’ll be treated when they walk into a bank branch.”Source Link: https://bankerandtradesman.com/jpmorgans-dimon-says-stagflation-possible/Chae Bank Mattapan branch manager Brian Samuel cuts the ribbon for the “community cente… http://109.70.148.72/~merchant29/6network/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/JPMorgans-Dimon-Says-Stagflation-Possible.jpg BLOGGER - #GLOBAL
