Good morning, Utah! I’ll kick off the opening day of my 25th Sundance Film Festival this morning by moderating the closing brunch session at Arthouse Convergence: ‘The Changing Face of Film Journalism’. Eric Kohn, Alicia Malone, Brenda Robinson, Lucy Walker, Ryan Werner and I will gather this morning at 10:15 to talk about the future of the form before we all head over to Park City. Tomorrow at 2:30PM I’ll be at the Sundance Filmmaker Lodge (550 Main) to moderate the #StoryAdaptation panel with Paul Dano & Zoe Kazan (Wildlife), Debra Granik (Leave No Trace), and Lynne Ramsay (You Were Never Really Here), exploring how these distinctive artists have each adapted the screenplays for their exceptional new films.
