you were one of the few people working close enough with the king and the royal family to not only get to meet princess zelda, but her knight and wielder of the master sword, link, as well!
zelda had been pining for you for ages, quietly crushing on you and spending every free minute she had with you, when she wasn't busy devoting her time to her studies
yet that free time she had was cut short when link was assigned as her protector. and suddenly, she couldn't spend much time alone with you anymore, as he was always there too!
link kept his distance from you at first, knowing zelda already wasn't fond of him, so he didn't want to give her anymore reasons to dislike him, by stealing you away from her
but when you made advances towards him, trying to become his friends and mend his relationship with the princess, link couldn't just ignore you. and so, he became not only your friend but developed a small crush on you as well…
zelda grew up rather sheltered, so she was so used to having you all to herself that she couldn't stand seeing you with link. her jealousy annoyed her, but she couldn't help it…
link was much more content with giving up on you and leaving you to be with zelda, while the princess couldn't imagine ever letting the opposite happen!
even as zelda slowly began to get along with link, she couldn't help but feel jealous whenever he was around you – which was way too often for her taste!
ultimately, zelda just wanted you to be happy, whether that was with her or link. but she couldn't imagine herself being happy without you by her side…

Things happened a little fast.
That isn’t to say that everything that’s happening is completely unwanted. You wouldn’t be licking at your lips and squeezing your thighs together while watching him wade closer to you if this was all unwanted. But the heat makes you feel crazy. It makes memories from mere minutes ago blur together and causes whatever decision-making skills you have to be thrown out into the snow. So what exactly got you here, you’ll never know. But you have your moments. You have moments that refuse to go away. Moments that still linger and linger. Moments that you can still feel.
By goddesses, you can still feel them.
You can still feel the relief that filled your body the second that Link finally led you to that Hot Spring he was talking about. The secret one that had you both getting lost for an additional hour because only existed on some maps and not all. You can still feel the warm water coating your body as you stepped right in, not wasting a second after Link turned away so you could slip out of your outer layers with at least some semblance of privacy. The warm water you’re still dangling your legs in right now.
And you can still feel what those moments fully immersed in the Hot Spring were like. You can still recall them. The warm water made your muscles relax. They coated you in a heat and a protection that you thought you could never find this far into the Hebra mountains. Even with all your layers and layers of fur. But some time into you sinking into the warm, healing waters of the secret hot spring, Link settled in close. He was courteous enough to warn you that the sounds of water splashing were simply him coming in closer to join you after finally having shed all of his layers in a pile right by your own on the shoreline. And for a while, the two of you were able to sit together and enjoy your little impromptu bath together. Soaking in silence. Peering up at a star-filled sky. And shivering at the occasional sudden gust of wind, of course.
So how did your little peaceful bath end up with you being bent over the side of the hot spring with your travel companion rutting into your backside as he all but begged you to let him try the pussy he just barely got to peak at, you’ll never know.
But what you do know is that it was far too easy for you to give in. It was far too easy for you to let him take hold of your hips and guide you into sitting on top of the same rock he was pressing your body into- one that was just high and flat enough to sit above the waterline in a way that wouldn’t be too difficult to deal with. At the very least, he was kind enough to pull his jacket from the pile where the rest of his clothes were and drape it over your shoulders. But the dazed look you spotted in his eyes as he settled in between your thighs told you that you shouldn’t be expecting kindness from this man.
Because of the way he was looking at you? It was filled with hunger. Like this was a thought- an idea that he had been sitting on for a long, long time, just waiting for the perfect time to strike. Like he had only chosen this time to act because it was truly unbearable sitting so close to you and not being able to touch you in the way that he wanted to. The way that he needed to. In your opinion, that was a whole lot of words just to call himself a horny opportunist and a Peeping Tom. But you weren’t complaining.
“Can you open a little wider for me? Please, princess?”
You were far too busy spreading your legs.
“Is this good?” You ask hesitantly, as your legs fall a little more open at his command. The wind bites at your skin, and you’re starting to feel a little bit cold. But your internal temperature must be on fire. Because it really isn’t that bad out here. At least, not right now. Sure, you know that’s there a part of you that much rather be submerged in the water again, letting your muscles loosen up enough to deal with the hike back to the nearest Inn or Stable. But there’s a louder, stronger, more desperate part of you that is currently scooting up to the edge of the rock with far too much eagerness to deny or ignore.
“S’good,” Link confirms with a mumble as he adjusts himself in the water in front of you. Droplets of water roll off of his shoulders as he rises just above the waterline and leans into your space. His cheeks burn a bright red, and you can’t help but wonder if it’s from the situation or the heat. Whatever it is, he doesn’t seem too bothered. Instead, he just pushes his bangs from his forehead, dampening them even further, and gets nice and close to you, eyes narrowing in the prize ahead of him. “Never eaten pussy before.”
At his words, you can’t help but blink in surprise.
His admission is as shameless as it is sudden, though you appreciate his honesty as you’re also quite…inexperienced in this realm yourself. But at the same time, his words don’t exactly feel true. Because the way he’s reaching out and reaching between your thighs at the moment just screams experienced to you. How else would he know to take two fingers to part your lower lips while a third stretches out and brushes against your clit?
His touch sends a shiver down your spine, and you find that having someone else touch you down there is a far, far different experience than touching yourself down there. One that makes you more sensitive and more alert than ever, at least. Maybe you should have taken all his offers to visit those other hot springs sooner…
“Oh…” You begin rather pathetically, your lip caught between your teeth. Link has barely looked at you whenever you spoke, though you see his ears perk up at the sound of your pants growing louder and louder as his thumb draws tiny circles into your clit. Instinctively, your hips begin to roll into his touches, moving along with his careful movements. How long has he been thinking about doing this? How many other women has he done this too? None that you know of. None that you want to think about either. So you won’t. You’ll just think about what’s in front of you instead. “I don’t know how this goes either…”
You’ll think about that tongue of his that’s darting out to lick at his own lips as he leans closer and closer to your pussy, looking more and more desperately by the second.
“That’s okay,” He tells you, though the words are almost masked by the groan that lies underneath them. It’s getting harder and harder to see him- see the fact that you’ve grown to love so much. In fact, all you can really see is a mop of half-wet blonde hair as Link makes himself comfortable in between your thighs. But as soon as his nose suddenly brushes up against your clit you remember that he’s not here to be seen. His mind is on one thing and one thing only. And at this point, you don’t think you could wake him up trance he has wrapped himself in. Not that you would have wanted to, of course. “I’m a quick learner. I’ll take care of you. I always do.”
Because if you did, you wouldn’t be here, now would you?
You wouldn’t be throwing your head back as he drives straight in and attaches his mouth to your lower lips. You wouldn’t be whining as his hands come up to grab at your thighs in a grip that would have been painful if that not for the way his tongue is currently pushing its way inside of your pussy in a way that feels far too natural for a man who is supposed to be exploring completely uncharted territories. You wouldn’t be panting and moaning and cursing his name as your toes curl and your hands reach for his golden locks and grab on hard.
You wouldn’t be having your pussy eaten by someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing but is somehow managing to do it right. You just wouldn’t be. And maybe it’s because he’s naturally adventurous. Maybe it’s because he’s always been passionate about the things he really cares about. Always determined to help. Always determined to do the job and do the job right. Or maybe it’s because he’s seen you in all kinds of weather and all kinds of clothes and has finally gotten tired of you being always right there yet always so out of reach until this moment.
Whatever the reason behind him lapping at arousal pouring from your insides like it’s the elixir of life itself, you don’t care. You don’t care about the wind that’s nipping at your skin either. Or the jacket that has fallen off your shoulders. You don’t even care about the fact that if anyone came looking for this spot- if anyone came close enough, they’d see you. They’d see all of you as you desperately bucked into the mouth of your travel companion as you begged and begged and begged him to just keep going and keep making you feel good. You don’t care about that stuff. You don’t care about any of it.
Because he makes you feel good. Because he makes you feel so good. And if you don’t enjoy it now? If you don’t pay attention and bask in the feeling and the pleasure that wild, adventurous tongue of his is giving to you? It’ll be over before you know it. It’ll be over before you can blink. It’ll be over before you can truly, truly appreciate what it’s like to have a cute boy drooling over the mere fact that he gets to play with your pussy for as long as you’ll let him. Because if this whole ordeal can start this fast?
It can end just as fast too.

Part One | Part Two
Tumblr media
Gasping for breath you sat up violently, droplets of water rolling off your body. You looked around at your surroundings in panic, unsure of where you were or why. Your head felt foggy as you furrowed your eyebrows in confusion. The walls were made out of sandy bricks, the cavern nearly completely dark save for the bed you were laying in that glowed an aqua blue. Sitting up, you noticed that you were only in your undergarments. Looking around once again you noticed a few chests strewn about, so you tried to stand up, legs wobbly from misuse, but you felt as healthy as ever. Once you finally found your footing, you crawled out of the…was it even a bed? It looked more like a bath or tub. Anyways, you made your way towards the chests, opening the one closest to you, which seemed to hold brightly colored clothes with gold ornaments and accessories.
Putting on the lightweight breathable clothing and accessories, you opened the second chest which held an old leather bound book and a satchel. Curious, you picked up the book, you couldn’t help but think that the old worn pages seemed oddly familiar as your fingers ghosted over the words written, but before you could read anything the sound of rocks rumbling reverberated throughout the entire cave made you snap it shut. Reflexively, you found yourself tense, eyes scanning as much of the dark cavern as possible. As stealthily as you could, you tiptoed towards the noise, seeing no other exit. A sweltering breeze hit you before you could see the sunlight that poured through, an opening to the cavern seemed to have unsealed itself.
The scenery was a bit disheartening. I mean looking around at the vast emptiness of a hot fiery desert...not the best place to be stranded in, but it explained why the clothes were light colored and made of such breathable material. Observing your surroundings once again, you tried to come up with a plan to ensure your survival. In the distance you noticed a city that seemed to bend with the heat. Glancing up, the sun that shined brightly in the sky seemed like it was going to set soon, and your best bet at surviving would be to leave right away. The heat was stifling as you trekked across the sandy expanse. Each step you made felt like you had barely made any progress, but you kept walking. Pulling the scarf tighter over your head, you couldn’t help your mind from spiraling.
Who were you and what were you doing here? Of course it had been eating at you since you first awoke, but survival was your top priority, now? You had time to ponder the whole situation. Everything was strangely familiar, like you had walked these paths before but you can’t remember the details as to why. Not to mention this weird feeling like you should be rushing, that someone was in danger, that you needed to find them as soon as possible. But who? Why couldn’t you remember anything? You felt like you were going insane, like the word was on the tip of your tongue but for the life of you you couldn’t get it out.
“Sav’orr,” A woman greeted you, a guard by the looks of it. You hadn’t even realized you made it to the city already.  “I haven’t seen you before. Welcome to Gerudo.”
“Thank you,” You replied with an uncertain smile. Entering the city you felt in awe as water cascaded down aqueducts, women littering the center, many vendors calling out about their goods. It felt overwhelming, and you quickly found a vacant alley, sitting on a barrel. Pulling out your only item from your satchel, you gazed at the cover for a few seconds before finally opening to the first page and started to read.
Dear Diary,
Today I was hired as the Princesses personal servant.
Your brows furrowed, these words creating a sense of deja vu in your scrambled mind.
I was given a uniform, it wasn’t the most flattering. With the same colors that represented the royal family, yet exceedingly boring. I suppose that makes sense since I’m merely a servant but it doesn’t mean I’m happy. Once I changed, a guard escorted me into a tea room, a maid was standing next to the one and only princess.
I was terrified as she quietly drank her tea. I bowed in greeting, unsure if I should speak or not, and when I glanced up she held an expecting look. I felt like a fool, feeling as if I had already failed her in some way. I greeted myself, not sure what else I could possibly say. The princess sounded as sweet as ever, just like during her speeches, a warm smile on her face as she welcomed me.
I blinked as the entry ended. This…was this your diary? No wonder it screamed familiar, these were your memories, your writing, your life. It still felt all scrambled in your head, but just as things were being answered ten more questions popped up. You were a royal servant, Princess Zelda’s right hand…so what were you doing in the desert? Why were you in some sort of shrine? What…happened? Did you even want to know?
Dear Diary,
Today I met the hero knight, and not in the way you’d think. I am required to know basic fighting. Even though I am merely a servant I suppose protecting the Princess is the most important part of my job since I’d be traveling with her outside of the castle. Learning to protect myself would be important as well I suppose.
It was a bit nerve wracking at first, I felt out of place and unsure where to go. I was merely told I would have a trainer waiting for me in the training hall, nothing more nothing less. Seriously, how do they expect me to do my job without giving me details? I felt my inner thoughts spirling as I stood there, sticking out like a sore thumb. I felt so foolish, something I am getting used to. Anyways, I was lucky to have someone approach me first, guiding me to my personal trainer.
A blonde haired knight was sparring with a brunette. The kind man pointed out that he was whom I would be training with. I remember that blonde hair, stoic as always as he stood by Zelda’s side during her public appearances. It would make sense that her personal knight trained her personal servant, but I felt myself worry. I don’t think I can live up to the standards they’re putting on me.
I learned quickly that he didn’t speak much, relying on gestures more than anything. Hylia help me.
You felt your heart drop, one name reverberating through your head as you read that segment. Link. How could you forget? Everything in you screamed that he wasn’t important, someone you cared about, but you just couldn’t remember why. You couldn’t remember these moments on your own, the only thing bringing them to life was your words on the paper. You had to read more, put the pieces together on why you’re here and what happened to land you with such a blank in your memory.
Dear Diary,
The princess had a meeting with the champions today. Brave people who represented their people’s alliance with Hyrule. The meeting was hopeful as the Princess described the Divine Beasts and how each champion would control their own. I shouldn’t write any more down as it is classified information.
I felt severely out of place, but I knew my role. I was the Princess’s personal servant, her right hand, someone who was to stand by her side 24/7, just like the champion. We had a mutual understanding, we shared similar roles, mine more domestic and his more violent, yet we held our heads high with pride. I have become more accustomed to my role over the past few months, and the Princess and Champion have been nothing but kind.
I believe in these people, their determination and hope shall pave a way to peace for all of Hyrule and Ganon will be defeated. I’m sure of it.
You felt your eyes water as you read. Your heart felt inexplicably heavy reading the last line, but you were unsure why. You had a feeling your past words were inexplicably naive, as what else would explain your current predicament?
Dear Diary,
I must keep this brief. My future self, when you read this do not lose hope. Link has been gravely injured, the Princess has escorted him to the Shrine of Resurrection, she will be stuck keeping Ganon at bay until he awakes again. She has tasked us with accompanying him when he does. Head to Kakariko village, speak to Impa, she will guide you next.
And please, take ca-
The last part cut off, clearly you had ran out of time, the paper smudged with water stains. It seemed that things had gone wrong, terribly wrong. Once again your heart was pounding with adrenaline, your mission clear. Standing up with a newfound purpose, you had only stepped one foot in the central square before you were stopped by two guards, posture pristine as they regarded you.
Speaking up, one of them mentioned your name, asking if it was you. You nodded in apprehension, unsure of what this meant.
“Please, follow us,” The other bowed her head before they turned their back to you and walked towards the palace-like building. A short, child-like lady sat on a throne that sat in the center of the main room, she was adorned with more gold and jewels than anyone else, and when her emerald eyes landed on you she perked up.
“Hello, my name is Lady Riju” She greeted you, eyes squinting suspiciously. “I’ve brought you here because my mother has tasked me to help the person who was locked in the shrine. That is you, correct?”
“Yes,” You nodded, bowing your head. “I have awoken mere hours ago, my lady.” It seems your servant instincts have stuck with you.
“Buliara, gather the proper resources for this traveler’s journey,” Lady Riju commanded her right hand guard. “Make sure it’s enough for their travels to…”
“Kakariko village, my liege,” you supplied.
“Yes, my lady,” Buliara kneeled before rushing off to order the other guards to help.
“Thank you for your help,” you bowed your head once more.
“My mother’s mother, my mother, and therefore I was tasked to aid the hero's companion,” Lady Riju explained. “Do not fail your task.”
“I won’t.”
The trek through the desert was long and arduous. Lady Riju was kind enough to have two guards escort you to the end of Gerudo Valley. You thanked them both profusely as they wished you well on the rest of your journey. That had already taken a night and one and a half days to complete. It would take you well over a week to complete the rest. You didn’t take much time to rest, only when the weather was bad or if your eyes were begging for just one night. You needed to get to Kakariko Village as soon as possible, what if Link had already awoken? What if you were late? What if Link was already completing his journey and it was a waste to put you to sleep in that shrine?
Though you can’t remember things clearly, you could still feel that tinge of nerves in your gut that the Princess put too much trust in you, that she deemed your role more important than it really was. So you pressed on through heavy wind and rain, crossed treacherous bridges, killed the enemies that stood in your way (thanks to the sword and shield gifted to you by the Gerudo), and nearly wept when you finally stepped foot in the village, bright red banners welcoming your entrance. Farmers glanced at you curiously as you walked through, your brightly colored garb and golden bangles catching their attention. You would have to find clothes better suited for the fields of Hyrule as you found yourself chilled more often than nought.
All you knew at the moment was that you needed to find Impa, and something told you the huge house at the center of the village was where she resided. With newfound passion, you climbed the grand amount of stairs that lead up to the house. Should you have gotten some rest beforehand? Probably, as you found yourself stumbling and tripping every so often. But you were close, so close. Close to finding Link, close to starting your journey by his side, close to truly beating Ganondorf. You were nearly there as you climbed the last step, your shoulders untensing. Nearly there as you opened the door. Nearly…there…as you swayed, eyes landing on an incredibly old woman who stared at you knowingly. Nearly…there
CRASH
Sunlight that snuck past the curtain caused your face to scrunch, your head pounding and bones achy. It seems the past week or so had finally caught up to you. You heard a soft voice that sounded nervous, and as you opened your eyes, a pale haired woman was revealed to you. Letting out a gasp, she jumped away from your form, shuffling backwards while she clasped her hands.
“My apologies,” She murmured, head bowed. “You had fallen from exhaustion and my grandmother tasked me with taking care of you.”
“Th-thank you,” Your voice was raspy as you spoke, both from disuse and not drinking enough water.
“Ah! I’ll go fetch you some water,” She had run out the door before you could deny her help or learn her name. Sitting up, you tried to stifle a pained groan as your limbs felt sore every way possible.
The kind lady was back quickly, water sloshing dangerously close to the rim of the cup she held. You thanked her before taking a sip, quickly chugging it all down.
“Thank you,” You thanked once more as she took the empty cup. “And I apologize for my disrespectful display, I shall repay you for your kindness.”
“O-oh…you really don’t need to,” She waved her hands erratically, a small blush dusting her cheeks. “You are the one who is to accompany the hero, correct? Grandma Impa has talked about you and the hero much over the years. It’s an honor to finally meet you.”
“It’s nice to meet you as well…” You trailed off, still not knowing her name.
“I’m sorry!” She exclaimed, hands raised to cover her face. “I’m not used to talking. Please, call me Paya.”
“Thank you, Lady Paya,” You bowed your head.
“Y-yes, of course,” She mumbled in response, fidgeting with her hands. “Grandma wishes to meet with you when you’re ready.”
“I’ll go now-” Flipping the blanket off of you, your legs nearly gave out on you when you put your full weight on them.
“Be careful,” Paya gasped, hands held out to catch you. “You really should get some more rest.”
“I don’t mean to worry you, miss,” You smiled awkwardly. “But this is of utmost importance.”
“Right,” She frowned slightly. “Then I’ll escort you to the main room.” The stairs seemed to taunt you as your legs just begged for you to let gravity take its course, but Paya stood dutifully by your side, eyeing you carefully, arm out and ready to grab you before you took a potential tumble. Once you entered the main room, the same lady from before watched you both with a twinkle in her eye. She called your name out like you were an old friend, a chuckle tumbling past her lips.
“Still as selfless as always I see,” She shook her head with a sigh, the chains on her hat swaying. “Take a seat.”
You sat across from her without question, Paya scurrying away the second you seemed stable. “Are you Lady Impa?” You asked, eyes trailing over the elderly woman whose smile turned solemn at your question.
“What do you remember,” The lady asked, hands folded in her lap.
Squinting your eyes, you looked down at the floorboards, “Not…not much. I’ve read my old diary, I don’t fully remember living those moments…but deep down I know it was me.”
“I see,” Impa hummed. “Do you remember your purpose?”
“To aid Link on his journey,” You spoke without missing a beat.
Impa let out a short laugh, “You seem to care greatly for him still. I suppose some things will never change. Unfortunately, he has not shown his face yet.” A mix of relief and concern filled you. You were glad you weren’t too late, but concerned as to why he hasn’t come yet. Had you woken up at the same time? Was he still sleeping? Perhaps you should go search for him-
“In the meantime I will let the owner of the inn know of your predicament, and you will be given a room there,” She explained before grabbing an item you didn’t even notice resting next to her. “But it is clear you know your reason for fighting, so I shall give this to you. Now it is time for you to rest so you are prepared for Link’s arrival.”
“Thank you, Lady Impa,” You bowed, accepting the clothes she handed you with grace. “I shall do my best to uphold the honor of standing by Sir Link and Princess Zelda’s side.”
“I’m sure you will.”
Getting rest was easier said than done for you. Perhaps your brain couldn’t remember your past, but your body seemed to remember all too much. You felt so jittery and antsy that sitting down felt like a chore. It didn’t help that bits and pieces of memories were flitting through your head each night. Whispers of those who have already departed from this realm, hopeful memories dashed by reality, it made you feel sick.
And so you found yourself preparing what one would need to go and fight the demon king Ganon. You had asked the villagers if you could work for some rupees, whether it be by fighting nearby monsters to hauling vegetables. It wasn’t much, but it gave you enough to stock up on arrows, food, and even some clothing pieces that looked useful.
It was two weeks later when the hero had finally stepped foot into the village. You had been feeding some chickens when the whispers of the other villagers reached your ears. A strange hylian had appeared with branches for a sword and donned a toga. Apparently he had headed for Impa’s hut, and you were soon to follow. You rushed to finish your chores, thanking the old man kindly for the rupees before dashing up the grand amount of steps that lead to Impa’s hut.
Before you could open the door Paya stood in your way, eyes wide at your desperation.
“Uh-uhm,” She stuttered, pale cheeks turning a light pink. “Grandma is busy at the moment…she said she needs some time alone with the hero.”
You bit your lip, anticipation killing you. Your memory was still fuzzy, peoples faces still blurry, but the two you remembered the most were Princess Zelda and Link. Link who had trained you, Link who was quiet but cared overwhelmingly so, Link who you fought side by side at the end, who sacrificed himself to protect the Princess, who sacrificed himself for you…
But Paya’s anxious demeanor made you keep your wits about you. Letting out a sigh, you took a seat on the first step. You had made it this far, waited for so long, you could wait a few more minutes…at least that was what you had to repeatedly remind yourself as your leg bounced. Your fingers fumbled with the fabric of your past uniform, every second felt like an hour, if you thought waiting days was tough, now that he was here, waiting felt even worse.
Your head snapped back when the door creaked open, revealing the familiar head of blonde hair you regret forgetting. Those cerulean eyes landed on you, but your heart broke when he didn’t seem to remember. No smile like he usually wore around you, no questioning tilt of his head when he worried you were hurt, just a blank look that seemed to question your existence.
“Li…Sir,” You greeted, falling to your knee in front of him. With your head bowed, you missed the way his eyes widened in surprise. Stating your name, you continued your greeting, “Tasked by Princess Zelda, I shall accompany you on your journey to defeat Ganon. My sword is yours. If you need anything, do not be afraid to ask.”
You only lifted your head when you felt him touch your shoulder, Link kneeled across from you, shaking his head. Fear coursed within you, was he rejecting your help? Noticing your fear he opened his mouth before his eyebrows furrowed. Noticing his predicament, you raised your hands and started to sign, ‘Is there a problem with this arrangement?’
His eyes widened, gazing at you in slight awe before signing back, ‘I don’t remember anything.’
‘That’s okay,’ You signed back, a gentle smile resting on your lips. ‘I can help you try and remember.’
‘Thank you,’ Link signed, eyes softening slightly.
‘Of course,’ you signed back. ‘I promise that I will do my duty and help you with any problem that may arise.’
It was then that your long adventure with the hero of Hyrule had begun.

The sun warms the skin of your rosy cheeks as it pours from the canopy of leaves overhead. The woods smell of fresh earth as it had just rained prior, allowing the cool air to kiss your nose sweetly.
You've forgone your constraining heels, deciding to go bare foot as you race through the forest, hoping to find a rare herb whose blooming window now only opened.
If you miss such an opportunity, the herb won't bloom until a couple moons later. Such a thought causes you to huff as you continue running, hoping to out run your knight who seems keen on following you.
Besides your soft pants, you hear your assigned knights heavy footfalls. Odd, you think as his foot steps are always so light.
Breaking from the tree line, the morning sun paints you in a golden glow that warms you up, chasing away the chill that was starting to settle in your limbs. You hear the footfalls come closer and you start your sprint once more, being careful with running on a fallen log that acted as a bridge over a small ravine.
"Your highness!" A voice calls out, the familiarity of his voice causes a slight upturn of the corners of your lips.
You're halfway on the large log before you meet sky blue eyes that remind of you clear, cloudless skies that you oh so adore. His cheeks are slightly flushed, his hair windswept from the run from the castle to the forest you've forced him to endure, and yet, his eyes remain kind.
"Ser Link," You hum thoughtfully, borderline coy. "Kind of you to finally join me."
You see Link's nose scrunch slightly, such a small twitch would've gone unnoticed if you haven't been paying close attention as your knight never seems to break character.
Always it seems that he chooses to keep a tight lipped mouth, his face stern, his body rigid as to alway be prepared, and yet, his eyes are such an endless pool of blue that you can read quite well—more likely are allowed to—and only with you, he seems to talk, his words always so soft and endearing.
Even if you cause trouble, like now, where he's to chase after you, or if you were to endanger yourself accidentally, it is never anger or frustration you see in his bluebell eyes, but always worry.
"It's dangerous." His words are curt, yet there's a slight furrow to his eyebrows that will go unnoticed by many. But you aren't like most people, you catch on quick when it comes to his tells and his eyes-
Stars, they're filled with an apparent worry that guilt starts tugging at your soul.
You swiftly turn, resuming your dash to the other side as a flash of lavender and your eyes widen as you see a superbloom of armoranth, a rare commodity even for the likes of the nobility and imperial family as well.
"Princess!" Link calls out worriedly but your feet is already touching the soft grass on the other side of the ravine and only after a few steps away from the log, you turn.
Your eyes widen as you see Link hurriedly crossing the makeshift bridge, his sword strapped to his back as his arms a somewhat raised to help him balance on the log as he hurried to you. His lips are pursed cutely, the furrow between his brows deepening and becoming apparent. Such a sight causes you to smile widely as a sweet laugh tumbles from your lips, being unable to hold it back.
Link's eyes widen as his head snaps quickly to your direction as he stumbles off the log slightly and onto solid ground. You're kind enough to quickly grab ahold of his hand to keep him steady and even kinder to reduce your cackles to soft giggles.
"You must be careful now, Ser Link, I don't want you tripping again." You tease softly as you give him a sweet smile and your knight looks gobsmacked at the sight.
You cough slightly, snapping Link out of his daze before he drops to one knee, keeping your hand in his in a firm yet soft grip that allows you to pull away if you so desire to. He's quiet as his eyes become somewhat sad and you feel bad for teasing him and keeping such a nonchalant facade with him.
┊ ੈ✩‧₊*°࿐ྂ
Palace politics and the nobility were unkind, you and Zelda having not been spared from it as the sole heirs to Hyrule. Having been assigned knights against both of your wishes, Zelda was rightfully angered, feeling more constrained by your father's decision.
In a fit of anger, she had urged you to rebel against your knight as you also shouldn't be controlled even more. You sighed, silently promising yourself that you'd be polite to your knight while trying to maintain a facade of indifference to your knight in hopes of quelling your sisters unhappiness.
It was only when Zelda's showcase of her displeasure and unfair treatment directed towards her knight became so blatant that you are reminded to maintain your promise to yourself to treat your own knight with grace.
You recall of the times Link had saved you from your own stupidity so selflessly and without regards to his own safety and it pushes you to soften your cold facade with your knight as he too is only fulfilling his purpose, a royal guard bound by the king's order whose words is absolute.
After arguing with your father about the medical treatment regarding those affected by a sudden winter blight, or therefore lack of, you stormed out of the throne room in anger.
You then callously snapped at Link for no reason as he simply followed you as he usually does to your quarters. In the heat of your frustration, you became blind to his sky blue eyes faltering, hurt flashing through them briefly.
Later that night, going against your father's orders and not informing Link, you sneak out of your room and into the Applean forest. The said forest is a great deal of distance away from the castle but you had caught wind of a great deal of herbs growing there that would effectively help combat the effects of the blight.
Bundling them a handful in a small cloth, you scolded yourself for your harsh words to your knight and promised to make a healing balm composed of the herbs to give to Link as an apology, and to hopefully turn a new leaf as well.
But as you are starting to make your way out of the forest, a loud squeamish squeal rips through the air and your blood chills. From the corner of your eye, you see the red skin of a bokoblin wielding a wooden club.
Chastising yourself for not bringing Link with you, you break into a sprint, the beast giving chase. Breaking out of the the tree line, your heart pounds against your chest but as you gain a decent distance between you and the bokoblin, a chilling sound of a guardian focusing its laser causes your heart to drop.
You look up swiftly, seeing the reddish glow of a guardian going on the offense due to detecting an enemy. A malfunctioning one, Zelda had mentioned some defects. You cursed, biting your bottom lip anxiously as the bokoblin closes in on you and the guardian prepares to fire its beam.
You berate yourself for your unkindness towards Link in your last moments with him and you are forced to come to terms with your untimely death.
Time seems to slow and just as you see the laser make its away to you, a firm yet gentle arm wraps around your waist as your back lands against something solid and warm. The smell of sweet spearmint and earthy pine fills your nose and your body slackens in relief as you recognize this scent—his scent.
"Link." You murmur softly as you turn your head, bearing witness to his skills that rivals none in the kingdom.
He quickly brings the Hylian shield you had gifted to him during his knighthood ceremony and quickly parries the guardian beam causing the large tank of ancient tech to combust immediately before Link tears his arm away from you, choosing to draw his sword and making a quick work of the bokoblin.
Time between you and Link seems to stand still as you stare at his back. Guilt consumes your heart, you worried him horribly this time. Stars, if anything had happened to you, they would've punished Link and ultimately put his head on a pike.
You open your mouth to profusely apologize but Link is quick to bend the knee in front of you, his eyes never leaving yours and you feel horrible when you bear witness to the clear stress and worry swimming in his eyes.
Link gently grasps your hand, squeezing softly that doesn't hurt you in anyway that seems to reassure himself that you're safe and real. "I-.. I know you despise me for restricting your freedom, but please- please, next time if you wish to go out, please take me with you so I am to safeguard you from harm." He looks away, lips pursed softly as his eyes become sullen.
By some instinct—an urge—you cup his face, softly easing him to look at you in the eye once more. You're to speak yet the earnest look in his eyes forces any words to die on your tongue and you're taken off guard with how kind and true your knight is.
"Ser Link, I'm sorry for making you feel as if I despise you. In truth, I don't hate you at all, yet despite that, my actions showed you otherwise, and for that, I apologize. I apologize for snapping at you earlier, and I'm extremely sorry for worrying you with my stupid stunt tonight."
His eyes widen softly, the stars gleam from overhead making them twinkle and the sight seizes your breath. "I'm sorry, Ser Link, for everything." You murmur softly, bowing slightly.
A gentle squeeze to your hand encased in his brings your attention back to him. Your eyes widen from the sight in front of you, your heart stuttering and breath hitching ever so slightly as you see a small smile grace Link's face. He then leans further to place a soft kiss to the back of your balm, his honest eyes never straying from yours.
┊ ੈ✩‧₊*°࿐ྂ
Guilt ebbs away at your psyche once more as you recall that you've never apologized for your constant indifference towards him and have actually kept it up.
A grimace itches at your face, "I'm sorry, Ser Link, for the incessant teasing." You sigh meekly, your thumb mindlessly rubbing back and forth on Link's gloved hand.
His eyes widen slightly and you hate yourself even more at the implications—stars, of course he doesn't expect a sincere apology from you as you've gone up and ditched him the second time since the guardian incident!
His reaction bothers you more knowing that the reason why you've began to avoid your knight was because of the constant skips your heart would make whenever you and Ser Link interacted.
Stars, he is your knight and you a princess, never mind your reputation, you'd only sully his and make him a court fool in front of the nobility if you're to pursue him-
You lose yourself to the brewing storm in your mind and ever the observant knight he is, Link notices how your eyes become sullen. He gently squeezes your hand, a move you've become familiar with, and it works as your attention moves back to him.
"Princess, I've no need to forgive you for something that doesn't upset me. I- I'm just glad that you've begun to talk to me comfortably." He murmurs softly and you will your heart to not skip a beat because stars-
His eyes are so blue—an endless sea of honesty and softness that you've come to realize that he's granted only you the privilege of seeing—and the sight has your heart pounding.
A small smile tugs on your lips, "It is one of the many things I can do to make up for how cold and indifferent I've acted towards you, Ser Link." You purse your lips, looking away and Link sees how truly sorry your are in your eyes.
He squeezes your hand once more to get your attention on him once more and the pained smile on your face tugs at his heart strings. "I've constantly taken advantage for your unwavering loyalty, Ser Link. I'm-"
Stars, it truly is upsetting. He is only doing what he is ordered to by your father and you punish him nonetheless? How unkind and unjust for you to treat him like that-
How cruel can you be to someone so innocent in royal affairs? The thought is chilling and it overwhelms your control over your emotions.
A choked gasp leaves your lips as he sees your eyes glaze over with unshed tears. Link is quick to rise, his body moving closer as he patiently waits for your signal.
You catch on and nod despite being unaware of his intentions. Yet from the honest look in his eyes, you realize that you trust the man in front of you wholeheartedly. "I'm sorry for every wrongdoing I've committed against you." You mutter, looking away from him in shame.
Link's hands gently cups your face, and like on the night of the guardian incident, he mimics what you had done and makes you look at him in such a gentle manner that intensifies the ache in your chest.
Your lips are pursed, eyebrows furrowed in guilt, and Link smiles softly to ease your worries. You melt, cheek leaning into his hand as he gently caresses your cheek with the soothing motions of his thumb.
Beautiful. Absolute stunning. Link finds the thought at the forefront of his mind as he looks at you.
"It's okay, princess. Just promise me that you'll allow me to stay by your side." Link murmurs, eyes looking into yours with such a softness that could make you melt even further.
You bring up your hands to cup his as the sweetest smile gracing your face sends his heart racing. "I promise, Link."

Yandere Link x Reader x Yandere Mipha Headcanons
Virgin Link x Reader x Zelda love triangle - Obvious ship is obvious, has been done a thousand times before, we all know the dynamic
Chad Link x Reader x Mipha love triangle - Rarely if ever explored, has more room for interpretation, involves THE superior ship of all time
I think we all know which one is better. (/j because I love the Link and Zelda triangle too)
Pretty much every yandere LOZ writer that I've seen has agreed that BOTW Link and Zelda would not be able to work together. At least not when they first met each other. And I totally agree. They're forced to spend time together nearly 24/7 by King Rhoam, which means they're also forced to share you, and that'll create tension. But Link and Mipha? They would definitely have an alliance.
Their alliance is based on two factors. One: They share the same goal of wanting to give you the best life possible. Zelda uses you more as a coping mechanism, and even though Link does that too, he's especially focused on making sure that you're safe. Mipha desires the same, as well as making you happy.
Two: Although Mipha is obsessed with you and priortizes your needs over Link's, she still admires him as a person. She knows how useful he can be. Link respects her as well. Not quite as much, but just enough to accept her into your life and let her help give you everything you want.
In result, these two work together scarily well, even better than Link ever would with Zelda. They never had past resentment towards each other, and unlike Zelda who can be strongly adamant, Mipha would let Link take the lead and make big decisions.
That... isn't always a good thing. Link is willing to do anything to protect you, even if it includes doing things that would make you hate him. Mipha is aware of this, but she thinks Link is more capable of ensuring your safety than she is, so she'll likely remain silent. But that also means that they have less disagreements, making their alliance even more powerful.
If you allow them to, they'll spoil you rotten. Mipha uses her royalty riches to purchase anything your heart desires, and Zora's Dormain is basically your playground. You've got just as much power there as she does in some ways. Because of that, this is the place where they'll keep you.
Link is also putting in work. He'll use his skills as an adventurer to do multiple things in your name, like bringing back rare items from his travels or cooking your favorite foods. If you ever begin a sentence with "I want" then expect Mipha to drop everything just to hear you out. She'll tell Link about it and he'll run off at the speed of light to get whatever it is that you requested.
Outside of that, the time you spend together as a group is generally quiet. They're both introverted and they would rather watch you do your own thing instead of talking all the time. Just being in your presence is enough to give them peace of mind.
Fortunately, neither are the type of yandere to keep you locked up. Not with actual chains. (Unless they believe you're in severe danger, but something insane like the calamity would have to be going on for that to happen) Link still loves to explore and he would love it even more if he could take you along on the journey. Mipha wouldn't object to that as long as you liked the idea! However, they both know that Hyrule is littered with monsters, so they're not about to let you leave without one or both of them by your side.
If you ever argue with one, the other will try to convince you to make up with them. You'd think they'd want to turn you against them so they can steal your love, and trust me-- it's crossed both of their minds before. But this alliance has worked really well in their favor and they don't want it to fall apart so easily.
That's not to say their alliance is perfect. Jealousy still exists in both of them, even if it hasn't been acted upon yet. And like I mentioned earlier, Link is usually the one who makes the big decisions on how to handle you, meaning that their alliance has a power imbalance.
Plus, Link is stuck guarding Zelda most of the time. Mipha is more than fine with taking care of you by herself, but Link hates the idea of being away for too long. He'll try to convince Zelda to spend more time at Zora's Dormain to avoid getting in trouble with King Rhoam, but he's willing to sneak off if he must.
If you're accepting, then your future is already laid out for you. It would be extremely difficult for Link to abandon his position as Zelda's knight just so he can become a normal citizen again, even after the calamity is over with. So the easiest way to get around that would be to transfer him to the Zora army instead. Except there might be issues allowing a Hylian inside their guard which is currently composed entirely of Zora... Until Mipha takes the crown and makes some changes.
Either way, you're going to marry Mipha and be introduced into the Zora monarchy. Congratulations, you're royalty now! You're going to marry Link as well, but not officially, since some people would see it as scandalous to be in a relationship with your knight at the same time as your wife. But neither Link nor Mipha care. They know what your true feelings are and that's all that matters to them.
But what if you don't accept them? Because as much as they spoil you, they still restrain you. You can't go anywhere alone. You can't do anything that would risk your safety, whether it's monster hunting or just going down a long set of stairs. And they're always second guessing you, especially Mipha. "Are you sure you're alright? I saw you frown for a second. Yes, it was only for a second, but you do know how I worry..."
So even if you like being with them intially, it'll get old after a while. Mipha will notice your discomfort first. She'll adjust those restrictions ever-so-slightly to make you think things have changed, when they really haven't. If you must leave Zora's Dormain without her or Link, then let a guard accompany you. If you must continue associating with that friend of yours, then tell her and Link everything about your relationship. Tell them everything about all of your relationships. They'll find who's good and who's bad for you. (Don't be surprised if they think everyone is bad.)
Link, though... Once he hears about this, he immediately shuts it down. He doesn't trust anybody to protect you but himself. And he's seething at Mipha for being so irresponsible. She's supposed to look after you, not risk letting you escape.
Just the way that he glares at her is a silent form of gaslighting. She truly isn't fit to take care of you on her own, is she? She's too soft. She needs Link. If it weren't for him, you would have already left her.
And now that Link has doubts about her ability to keep an eye on you, he'll enforce the rules himself. Now you can't even walk around Zora's Dormain without him by your side- when he's gone, you just stay put with Mipha. Not allowed to do anything until he returns. If you resist, he'll only make your life harder.
But you aren't totally screwed. There is one way to make their alliance fall apart: make them doubt each other. Link already doesn't trust Mipha enough anymore, so you need to manipulate Mipha into turning against Link. Usually that's impossible, but now that her confidence is low, you can appeal to her sympathetic side. Make her feel guilty for letting Link do whatever he wants to you. In this state, it won't take long before she cracks.
Your best bet would be to trick her into thinking you want to run away together from Link. Actually taking her with you isn't an option. The Zora will go into a frenzy when their beloved princess disappears and if they find you, they'll likely blame you for convincing her to run away.
Mipha wouldn't want to leave at first. She'd be too anxious about the consequences, knowing that she would have to abandon her father and brother. Knowing that Link would stop at nothing to take you back. She's just so obsessed with you though and she couldn't fathom the idea of you seriously tricking her. Besides, you only want to leave so you can be happy together, right?
She thought so. She really, truly believed so. But you went missing the moment she turned away to pack her stuff. Then... There was no other choice but to tell Link the truth. Because it's Mipha and she's simply not the type to lie, even if it might hurt her.
In this case, though? It isn't even a "might." Link had gotten used to being assured of your safety (or used to being in control of you) that it freaks him out once he hears you're gone. His immediate thought was to go find you, but his second is that how could he have ever trusted someone like her to protect you? He leaps to anger. He draws his sword.
I can't say for certain what happens next. He knows how much trouble he'll get in for harming her, but in that moment, it wouldn't cross his mind. She probably wouldn't fight back much since she respects him so highly and feels awful for allowing you to take advantage of her.
...If Mipha dies, the Zora will never forgive you. They'll be more pissed at Link obviously, but they'll blame you for indirectly causing this to happen. The whole LOZ fandom would never forgive you because we all love Mipha. I would never forgive you because I am the ultra #1 Mipha enjoyer. You might be able to live a content life if you can ignore the hatred and hide away, but just know that Link won't be the only one tracking you down. You'll be on the run for the rest of your life.

SFW prompt #5 with Sidon please! I feel like that'd be so fun especially if person A is Hylian.
warnings: fluff, mentions of nudity, Sidon is literally so in love with reader, reader is Fem!Hylian
Tumblr media
After a warm bath, you're snuggled up on your bed. Sidon comes in and coos at how sweet you look right now. He has a bottle of fancy and expensive lotion in his hands. You pat the seat next to you on the bed and he complies. His eyes light up when you open up your robe, baring your body to him.
"Oh love," he sighs happily, "I can never get over how beautiful you are." Sidon praises as he begins putting the lotion into his hands.
He begins lathering you up, humming a Zora lullaby under his breath. You aren't even sure how lucky you got to have such a romantic prince fall in love with you. Coincidentally, he was thinking the very same thing about you. How he was so lucky to have you fall for him. The two of you were very much in love.
Sidon is always careful when it came to massaging you and rubbing lotion on your skin. He knows he's much bigger than you, and he doesn't want to accidentally hurt you by putting his weight on you. He leans in to kiss you so softly before continuing to rub the lotion on you. He smiles sweetly when he notices you closing your eyes and succumbing to the pleasure of all of this.
He enjoys just how soft your skin is. His fingers begin tracing all over your moles and beauty marks that litter your skin. He coos and hums curiously as he begins exploring your body. Sidon could never get tired of doing things like this. He just loves to be able to have you stretched out on the bed like this, your body so bare to him.
"Absolutely breathtaking," he mutters as he buries his face in the crook of your neck. Your hands come up to stroke his face, then lower down his fins and his shoulders.
You cannot get over how silky his skin is. It's so much different from yours, but you enjoy getting your hands all over him whenever you get the chance to. Which is pretty seldom most days, but you are so grateful for these moments.
Soon you're lathering the lotion onto his silky skin. He groans softly as you begin massaging him. Your hands soothe all over him, tracing his fins and then caressing his muscles. You can't believe just how strong he is sometimes. He purrs softly, making you giggle.
"My beautiful prince..." you praise him.
Pretty soon you're both lying together on the bed, caressing one another. It's quiet and it's peaceful. And it's perfect for two lovers falling even deeper in love.

Day 9 - Fake Dating
Fandom: Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Character(s): Link
Type of Request: 31 Days of Oc-Trope-R
Note(s): The requester wanted Reader helping Link fend off his suitors and I love this idea so much. Also, I make Link talk a tiny bit in this (like only a few words at a time) Also Also I felt so bad for Paya while writing this ngl (sorry Paya!!)
Tumblr media
You blamed it on how nice he is to everyone. Oh, you need ten apples? He's doing it. One hundred crickets to impress a girl? Done. It's insane what he'll do (you're still annoyed that you watched him cut grass for hours to get the crickets to only actually give the guy ten).
But then he was going to Karkariko Village next. He seemed nervous as you two traveled on the new horse he tackled and won over. Usually, he liked using his Sheika sleight, but you both quickly found out that you are not transported with him, and he had to hurry to get back to you before the Guardian shot you. It was not a fun time.
"What's wrong, Link?" You ask as your arms are wrapped around his waist while he directed the horse. He's quiet for a bit as he ponders the question. Or maybe he heard you and was choosing to be quiet like he sometimes does. A sigh is heard from him as he looks over his shoulder. You did not realize how closely you were holding him and tried to put some space between you.
"Be my girlfriend," he says. No lead in, no 'hey I have a favor', just a flat-out proposal and your jaw dropped. Link quickly realized his mistake and pink crossed his cheeks as he shook his head. "Pretend! Pretend to be my girlfriend!"
You had a million questions and were starting to ask before Link filled you in. Apparently almost every girl and woman (some men too) in Karkariko village has a crush on Link. Well, maybe not Impa, but that's still a large number. And Link does not know how many excuses he can give so he wants you to pretend to be his girlfriend just to keep them off of him.
And you agreed.
You don't know what came across your mind to agree, but you did. You and Link talked about things like how you started dating or other couple questions that might be asked. It was a bit weird, but ended up being fun? Mostly because he's a dork and you teased him quite a bit when he talked about how he didn't realize a lizalfo tail couldn't be used as food for some reason and a fairy had to save him after eating the dubious food.
When you make it to the village, you don't quite understand what Link needed help fending off. The people seemed nice, some kids wanted to play tag (and you found it adorable how Link did so), and there was a shrine that Link stole the apples from. It wasn't until you and Link went into a shop that you realized.
"Why hello, Link, here to fill up your quiver?" She practically purrs and your jaw drops at how much confidence she has while Link pushes you forward.
"Um, actually, we would like some arrows please," you say, and she glances to you in disappointment at you being between her and Link, who she still tries to eye as a piece of meat.
"And you are?" She asks, her tone a bit bored, but you can tell she tries her best to be nice to a new customer. Even if you're a bit annoyed with how she's treating you.
"His partner," you tell her, and she pauses as Link breathes a sigh of relief. She glances between the two of you and, without thinking, Link holds your hand.
Sure, he's held hands with you before. Mostly so you didn't fall off a cliff or when the wind was really bad. But this context felt different. Well, you're fake dating so it really shouldn't be that weird, but the issue is that you liked it.
You hear her mutter something about "typical men breaking a woman's heart" but you ignore it as Link buys up about every arrow in the store. You thank her as he drags you outside and sighs.
"'Fill up your quiver'." You are so quick to tease him, and his face goes a dark red as he puts his hands over his face to hide. You're interrupted from your next teasing as you hear a gasp and you glance over and see a, well, a very pretty girl.
"Hello Paya," Link greets politely to the girl while continuing to hide his face and her face gets redder than his is. And you realize that she likes him too. It's difficult not to realize it as Link gives you a look for help and you smile gently at the girl, Paya.
"Hi," you say, and she looks to you in confusion as her eyes glance between you and Link and how close you stand together. And you watch as her heart seems to shatter, but she keeps giving a smile. Your own heart aches with her reaction.
"Hello, I'm Paya. It was nice seeing you again, Link." It was sweet how she greeted you if only tears weren't forming in her eyes as she quickly walked off and Link sighed, muttering that he'll have to talk to her later.
You keep walking through the village with Link, continuing to be his fake girlfriend but the smile on your face felt faker. Your mind kept going back to the shattered look on Paya's face and you imagined yourself in her shoes. Link is your friend; one you've traveled with for so long. How would you react if he suddenly showed up with someone he looked really close to? You didn't like those thoughts.
Eventually you and him walk out of the village, going to where the fairy shrine is so he can catch some just in case. And you see the shining lights surrounding him and how handsome his face looks as he glances in the pool of the fountain. And you realize your "just friends" thoughts are full of crap.
You're silent as you two walk away from the fountain, following the path to a little overlook. Link sighs in relief as he sits on the ground, taking a break from the excitement while you stay standing and overthinking.
"What's wrong?" Link asks and you hate how perceptive he is. Or at least, when it comes to you, he seems overly preceptive. You force a smile and sit next to him.
"I was thinking of Paya, she looked heartbroken," you tell him and Link sighs at that.
"I know." Is his reply and you can hear the heaviness in his tone, as if he also feels guilt, but he doesn't say anything afterwards. Nothing about telling the truth or even hoping she'll be okay. You know earlier he said he'd talk to her, but you don't know what that entails. The only thing you're thinking of right now is, you don't want to end up like her, the poor girl.
"It'd be unfair if she learned that we are lying about dating," you say and Link glances over at you, giving a slow nod. "So, we should actually date." His eyes look like they'll pop out of his head.
"What?!" You wince at his reaction and are about to apologize and start to think 'maybe I will end up like Paya' but then you see the massive blush on his face again.
"Well, we've traveled together for so long and-"
"Let's date." He cuts you off from the long speech you're about to give to explain your feelings. You're a bit annoyed by how quickly he recovered, but that goes away as you sigh and lean against him, something you did as friends but now it feels different, but a good different.

Mipha x male Hylian s/o
Tumblr media
(Non-calamity AU)
Mipha’s feelings for s/o go all the way back to when she was young, having been introduced to him by her childhood friend Link.
“Wow! I’ve never met a Zora before! My name is s/o, what’s yours?”
Being the shy and timid girl she is, Mipha responds to him with a voice barely above a whisper.
“I-it’s nice to meet you s/o. My name is Mipha.”
“Same here Mipha!”
He flashes her a smile that makes the young Zora blush a little before she begins playing tag with him and Link, kicking off a long lasting friendship.
As the years have passed, Mipha and s/o have grown continually closer to the point that they started to see each other as more than just friends.
Mipha of course was the first to realize her feelings, and not knowing what to do, went to her friend Princess Zelda for help.
“I see. While I’m not much of an expert on romance, my advice is to tell s/o how you feel Mipha.”
“B-but what if he doesn’t feel the same way? Revealing my feelings to s/o could ruin our friendship, and I….I could bare it if that happened.”
She says sadly as the Hylian princess places her hand on the Zora girl’s shoulder.
“You’re assuming the worst Mipha. S/o cares about you greatly, and I doubt anything will change that. In fact, I happen to know that he has feelings for you as well.”
Mipha’s eyes widen slightly at this revelation.
“R-really? He does? Are you certain?”
She asks as Zelda nods with a small smile.
“Yes. Link told me that s/o confided in him that he is in love with you. Now that you know this, there isn’t a reason for you not to confess Mipha.”
“H-he loves me?”
The beautiful Zora blushes while holding her hands over her heart.
“Yes, and you love him too don’t you?”
“I…I do! Please excuse me Princess, but I must find s/o. I cannot contain my feelings for him any longer!”
She bids Zelda farewell before rushing off to find s/o, whom she runs into after he finished doing some sword training with Link.
“Hey Mipha! Link and I were just talking about you! There’s uh…something I wanted to say to you.”
“Oh? I was looking for you for the exact same reason s/o. M-may I go first?”
He nods as she looks at him with a flustered expression.
“S/o…you mean a lot to me, and through our time as friends I became developing…feelings for you. What I’m trying to say is that I’m in love with you s/o.”
When she finishes speaking, s/o blushes profusely before moving closer to her.
“Mipha, I love you too! In fact, that’s what I was going to tell you, but you beat me to the punch.”
A brief moment of silence follows as the two lean in and share a kiss as Link smiles at his two close friends finally getting together, thus marking the beginning of their relationship.
Naturally a very sweet and caring girl, Mipha is an amazing girlfriend to s/o, who is equally as great to her.
“How is your day s/o? Did you sleep alright? Have you eaten enough? Is your family doing well?”
She bombards him with questions thanks to her motherly nature when it comes to those she cares about, which s/o finds quite adorable.
“Yes, to everything Mipha. How about you?”
“My answers are the same as yours s/o, thank you for asking.”
Needless to say Mipha and s/o have a very cute and wholesome relationship, which Princess Zelda secretly gushes about to Link, who she has recently gotten into a relationship with thanks to some help from her two friends.
Despite s/o being a careful person who rarely does anything reckless, he still gets hurt on occasion, to which Mipha wastes no time healing his wounds.
“Ahh, that feels so much better. Thanks for taking care of my injuries Mipha.”
“Of course. I will always tend to your wounds whenever you get hurt. Just promise me you’ll be more careful s/o.”
Jealousy does exist between the two, but it’s never anything major.
Due to being different races, Mipha and s/o often worry about their significant other finding another Zora/Hylian they like better.
Luckily, they always communicate these fears to each other, leading to constant reassurance.
“Mipha, I love you for you, and I would never leave you anyone. My heart is yours, and it always will be.”
He says while gently taking her hands into his as she smiles softly at him.
“T-thank you my dear. You never have to worry about me doing such a thing either. The only person I want by my side is you.”
Dates can take place anywhere, but Mipha’s and s/o’s favorite location is Lake Hylia, where they often take a late night swim together.
“This is nice. The way the moonlight shines on the water is a beautiful sight isn’t it s/o?”
“Yeah, but it pales in comparison to how breathtaking you are Mipha.”
He tells her as she blushes deeply and chuckles.
“That’s so sweet of you s/o. I must say that you are quite breathtaking yourself.
Now it’s his turn to blush as the two hold each other close and lay down on the grass together after finally leaving the water.
Should any Hylian or Zora say something negative about them being together, the two will firmly yet politely tell them off, and luckily they also have Link and Princess Zelda to openly support their relationship if anyone were to take issue with it.
Mipha loves so many things about s/o, but the thing that makes her heart flutter the most is how well he gets along with her little brother Sidon.
Watching her boyfriend play with Sidon so happy just makes her fall in love with him even more.
“Catch me if you can s/o!”’
“Ok! Careful not to trip Sidon!”
S/o says while running after the little Zora near the base of Lake Hylia.
“Thank you for spending time with my brother s/o, it means a lot to me.”
Mipha tells her boyfriend with sincerity and gratitude in her voice.
“No problem Mipha! I absolutely love this little guy!”
Hearing that just cements her belief that s/o is the one she wants to be with forever.
Some time later, Mipha brings her boyfriend to Lake Hylia as she has several times before, but this time being extremely special.
“Ok Mipha, you said this was really important. Is something wrong?”
“No, not at all s/o. In fact I have something for you.”
She hands him a set of beautifully crafted armor.
“Woah. This is for me? Mipha, I don’t know what to say. Thank you so much. I-”
Realization sets in as s/o remembers what this armor represents, his face going red as he looks at his girlfriend.
“Y-you want to marry me? A-are you sure I’m the one you want Mipha?”
Shaking off her own blush, she nods and cups her beloved’s cheeks.
“Yes s/o, there is not a single doubt in my mind that I want you as my husband. You are the love of my life, and should you accept this armor, I want to be with you forever.”
“I feel the same way Mipha. That’s why I’ll gladly take this armor. I love you so much.”
“That makes me so happy! I love you too s/o!”
Mipha exclaims with glee before kissing s/o passionately.
Watching him slowly put on the armor, Mipha smiles warmly knowing that the Hylian she loves with all her heart will soon be her husband, and there isn’t a single thing that makes her happier.

Being Zelda's younger sister (and your relationship with her and the champions)
You're a year younger than Zelda
Since you didn't have powers like your sister you were in charge of researching guardians, the divine beasts, and other Sheaka technology
You're smart and know a lot about history so you're good at what you do
You're a year younger than Zelda
Since you didn't have powers like your sister you were in charge of researching guardians, the divine beasts, and other Sheaka technology
You're smart and know a lot about history so you're good at what you do
Zelda
Tumblr media
Your relationship with Zelda is a bit strained
She's always busy trying to unlock her powers, and you're always researching to learn about Sheaka technology
Zelda is jealous of you since she feels like you're more successful at your role in defeating Ganon
She hates feeling that way and doesn't blame you
She just wishes she could unlock her powers and feel like she isn't a failure
Even though she doesn't tell you this, you can tell what she's thinking
You eventually get her to open up about it, and the rift between you is gone
You keep encouraging her to not blame herself
She really apricates this and is happy to know that she has your support
Against your father's wishes, you let her join in on your research since you can tell how interested she is in it
You keep her updated on anything new you learn
Overall, you're both very close to each other
Link
Tumblr media
Despite the fact that Link had been assigned to protect Zelda, she sometimes asks him to check on you
He doesn't say much, but you grow to enjoy his company
You often tell him about anything new you've learned, always excited about any discovery you make
He finds it cute how you smile while talking about your research, but he never expresses it
He'll just listen while you talk, letting you go on for as long as you want to
You really look up to him and admire his courage
You also admire his dedication to keeping both your sister and Hyrule safe
Whenever Zelda sends him away, you often find him and spend time with him
It's times like this when you reassure him that she's just under a lot of stress
He really apricates your comfort and grows to see you as a younger sister
Revali
Tumblr media
You first meet Revali when doing research on one of the divine beasts
At first, he acts like he doesn't like you
But deep down he admires how smart you are
You grow closer the more you visit his divine beast
You keep him updated on whatever you learn about it, which means you spend a lot of time with him
You start to see past his cocky attitude and find that he's really a nice person deep down
Revali will sometimes take you flying, something you really enjoy
He's like your reluctant older brother
Daruk
Tumblr media
Daruk is really sweet and bonds with you quickly
He loves hearing about your research and will often spend time with you
He'll tell you about his culture since you love to learn new things
He thinks it's cute how enthusiastic you get about these kinds of things
He also admires you for how smart you are
But he also knows how you can sometimes feel pressured to learn as much as you can
He'll remind you to take a break and makes sure you take care of yourself
He's just really sweet
Urbosa
Tumblr media
Urbosa is close to both you and Zelda
She sees you both as sisters and treats you as such
She congratulates you whenever you learn something new during your research
She finds the proud smile that you have on your face when you do
She even gifts you a piece of Gurudo jewelry since you admired hers so much
Urbosa even offers to take you to Gurudo city
She's a great sister figure to you
Mipha
Tumblr media
Mipha is really sweet and easy to get along with
So you both grow really close soon after meeting her
She'll often join you during your research, especially when it comes to her divine beasts
She looks up to you for being so smart, despite the fact that she's older than you
You look up to her for her kindness
In a way, you remind her of her little brother
So she becomes a bit protective of you
She's another great sister figure

Chapter Ten — Goron City
Tumblr media
t.o.c ; << | >>
[chapter warnings: arguments, link is overthinking, link is mean]
"We only have a few more minutes until we reach Goron City. It should be much cooler inside the actual city..."
Link's words did little to comfort you. Sure, you were used to the heat. Gerudo Town was in the desert, after all. But the dry heat of your second home was little in comparison to the scorching heat of the volcano. You had to discard your wooden shield because as you ascended to Goron City it caught on fire. The tips of your fingers were burnt from where you had grabbed the edge, but it wasn't anything to mention and worry Link over.
"We should've made more potions. I feel like I'm about to combust."
"Someone back at the stable mentioned that there were fireproof suits we could find that help. Maybe we can ask someone in the City about them-- I'm sure they sell them for travelers."
The air between the two of you was quiet.
It wasn't unusual for there to be silence between you and Link-- you couldn't keep a conversation going 24/7-- but this one felt different. Tense. It had been a bit off since leaving Zora's Domain, but you didn't want to think too hard about it. The only issue-- the strange feeling in the air continued to get worse and worse the closer you got to the city. It was almost unbearable, but was it your place to question it? You had to try.
"Link?" Your voice was quiet. He hummed. "Is everything alright?"
Link didn't respond for a moment, and you worried that you had crossed a boundary. "I just... They weigh on my mind."
"Who?"
"The old Champions." Link stared ahead. His eyes held a glazed-over look-- refusing to look at you. "I feel bad. Guilty, if anything."
"Survivor's guilt is a thing." You shrugged, "It can happen to soldiers when their comrades die. Like you're guilty that you're alive when they could've been alive too. But Link, do you realize that their sacrifices gave you another chance? It sucks that they didn't survive, but they had so much faith in you that they gave their lives to give you a fighting chance at defeating Ganon."
"And I failed to defeat him, which made them die."
"No, you were given a chance to get stronger. Who's to say that you would've defeated him back then?" You were a firm believer that things worked out they way they're supposed to. The Goddess doesn't make mistakes. "Maybe the Champions would've died before you made it to Ganon and couldn't activate the beasts to help you. Then he would've been way stronger. Or-or you said Zelda was in the castle, fighting him off right? If she couldn't use her powers like you said, then she wouldn't have weakened him or anything. 100 years ago may not have been the right time to kill Ganon, but now can be."
Link didn't respond, the gears turning in his head. You really hoped that you didn't say the wrong thing. "The entrance to the city is right ahead. Let's go."
You lowered your gaze to your horse, patting his mane in an attempt to soothe yourself from the blatant rejection of your comfort. It hurt, but you understood where he came from. This was definitely something you had no experience speaking on, so of course he'd take your words lightly. You didn't have much time to think about that, though, as the ground began to rumble beneath you. A loud roar pierced the air and a crash came down beside you, making Taz rear up in fear.
A large boulder appeared on your right, cratering the ground beneath it as it fell from the sky. Vah Rudania thrashed on the side of the volcano and more smoldering hot rocks flew from its vicinity to different parts of the city.
You pushed forward, tying Taz up with Epona at the entrance and heading in with Link. He was already a few steps ahead of you, asking around to find the Elder of the village. It didn't take long for a Goron to point you in the right direction, nor did it take much longer to walk across the small village and find him.
Bludo was very obviously the oldest Goron you'd ever seen— though, you'd rarely seen Gorons in your life. They didn't travel far from rocks, and rocks did seem to be pretty rare in the desert.
"— and that darn Yunobo hasn't been back in hours!"
Bludo raised his voice a few decibels and you finally tuned into what he was saying. Hopefully you weren't missing too much context. You didn't want to ask Link and bother him.
"Where's he at? I can find him."
"He went up to the Abandoned North Mine to fetch my painkillers this morning. Hasn't been back at all. Goddess only knows what he's been up to."
"We'll go get him right now!" You chime in. Link side-eyes you, but doesn't say anything until you bid your goodbyes to Bludo and are back in the town.
You need to buy that armor the people at the stable talked about .
"You don't need to come on this." It's his first words to you since you arrived, and they stung. "We agreed that you'd stay behind when it came to the Divine Beasts."
"This isn't the beasts, though." You argued, "I don't want to just sit in the village and do nothing. Once you and Bludo go to the volcano then I'll stay back."
Link doesn't respond, walking past you to the general store. There's two sets of armor for travelers there, but he only picks up one and brings it to the counter.
"Are you serious right now?" You're starting to get upset. You understood that he was going through a lot— really. But taking it out on you? "This is so petty."
You grabbed the other suit of armor and paid for it with your own rupees, not the satchel of shared rupees that you both used for travel necessities. You had to practically race to put on the suit and catch up with Link.
"Y/N, you can't come with me." He still marched ahead, eyes glued on the direction Bludo pointed you in.
"Yes I can!"
"No, you can't!" Link whipped around, exasperated. "You don't need to be doing the stuff that I have to do! You're not the hero— I alone am destined to do this so I need to do it alone. You can't do the things I need to do. I don't need you."
If all of Link's other actions stung, then this one was like a punch to the gut. Your eyes pricked with tears, but you couldn't possibly let Link see them. Especially after he already practically called you too weak to help out.
You tried to keep your voice steady. "Really? That's low."
"You don't get it—"
"No, Link, I do." You were shaking— whether it was from rage or something akin to heartbreak, you didn't know. "You're letting this whole thing get to your head. It's a huge deal, yeah, but you're taking it too far. There's no reason you should have yelled at me like that."
Link's eyes softened for a fraction of a second, but you turned around too quickly to see it. You took off your helmet and threw it on the ground— 500 rupees be damned. It was hard to keep the tears in.
Your past taught you to stand up for yourself. To not let issues get to you, big or small. You knew you couldn't tolerate someone treating you the way Link has today, and you'd turned your back on someone before the same way you had today.
So why did this feel so much more painful?
Link was your first friend outside of Gerudo Town. Your traveling partner. Someone you cared about a lot more than you'd ever cared about someone before. A best friend, perhaps.
You didn't look back as you walked back into the city, straight through until you reached the other end. Even then, you kept going. You headed to the hot springs on your map— you just had to remember how to get there, since pulling out your paper map would destroy it in seconds.
"You can do better."
"Goddess—"
"Language." The voice was in your ear. You whipped around, coming face to— uh, mask— once again with a familiar person. "I heard your little spat."
"Why are you following me?" You absolutely were not in the mood to deal with this soldier. You took a step back— he was too close for your liking.
"Just interested in your journey." He chuckled. "Curious as to how you did a complete flip and went to aiding the enemy."
"He was never an enemy. You guys just tricked me into believing he was one."
"Ah, to-may-to, to-mah-to." The Yiga waved his hand dismissively. "Just because we have entirely different perspectives doesn't make either of us wrong. We see our truths through our own eyes. I cannot see your truth because I do not have your eyes, and you cannot see mine."
"Unless I take them out of your head." You grumble. It was very tempting.
"I'm not so sure you'd do that. You do remember that I'm in possession of some knowledge you'd like, right?"
"How could I forget when you're constantly dangling it over my head."
The Yiga barked out a laugh at this and you tried to ignore how your heart jumped. "I'll give you a hint if you do something for me."
Another tempting offer. Perhaps more tempting than gouging his eyes. "Depends on what it is."
"Find out where the Master Sword is."
"I haven't even heard anything about it—"
"Your brother is somewhere you would least expect. And now I expect some information the next time I see you. Toodle-loo!"
In a puff of light and talismen, the Yiga was gone.
Where you would least expect? What? You wanted to go to the hot springs to relax, but were left with more questions and your headache growing even worse.
The Master Sword...
Of course the soldier knew that you knew what it was. The Master Sword was in all of the stories and legends that the Yiga taught about the return of the Hero. With that sword, Link would be able to seal away the darkness and save Hyrule. You guessed that the Yiga's plan was to take the sword and hide it, so Link would never be able to seal the darkness.
You chose an empty hot spring pool, undressed and sunk down into the water until it reached just below your nose. You had a choice to make.
Find your brother, or help Link.
———
"Just because we have entirely different perspectives doesn't make either of us wrong. We see our truths through our own eyes. I cannot see your truth because I do not have your eyes, and you cannot see mine."
As much as you hated to admit it, the Yiga Footsoldier was quite the philosopher.
His little lecture played over and over in your head as you bathed, scrubbing all the dirt and grime from your adventure away. You felt a bit better afterwards— rejuvenated. Your mind was a bit more clear after being muddled with anger and frustration.
"Just because we have entirely different perspectives doesn't make either of us wrong."
Link has the future of Hyrule resting on his shoulders. The lives of thousands. Of course he'd get stressed— in the past, he was literally so stressed out that he wouldn't talk to anyone about it.
The Yiga Clan had their own truths, too. They were upset about the Sheikah Clan being exiled for their technology and disagreed with the clan members who decided to cast away the advances. In some morbid attempt at revenge, they formed the Yiga Clan and swore to eliminate all who stood against Ganon as he used their tech.
And you.
You were part of both sides. One a bit less willing than the other, but you were nonetheless. You never necessarily agreed with the Yiga, but fear does things to someone. They follow rules without much complaint. And now, being with Link, new truths have emerged.
You knew you weren't going to comply with the Yiga Clan, but you needed to find your brother.
With a heavy sigh, you waded to the edge of the hot spring. You dried your hands on your discarded shirt and pulled the paper map out of your bag and got to work.

sneaking away from the ball
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: link x gn!reader
summary: your knight and you sneak away during a night where you're supposed to meet your future spouse, to make out in secret...
Tumblr media
it was the night of the long-awaited ball. many suitors from all parts of hyrule had gathered here tonight to ask for your hand in marriage. yet instead of introducing yourself to them inside the ball room, you were… busy outside, in the gardens, with the knight assigned for your protection.
“you taste so sweet, my love…” link murmured against your lips, hungrily stealing one kiss after another from you. he couldn't help but want to kiss you, after seeing all those men fawn over you. he needed to remind himself who your heart belonged to.
“link…” you softly whispered against his lips, as his hands had a firm grip on your waist, keeping you in place. you knew how jealous he could get, so you allowed him those few minutes of having you all to himself.
“just… make sure nobody sees us, alright…?”

He shouldn’t be doing this. He shouldn’t be giving in like this. He should be stronger than this. He shouldn’t be thinking like this. He shouldn’t be  wanting  this. He shouldn’t. He shouldn’t.  He shouldn’t.
But fate is a cruel mistress. And he can’t stand it when you squeeze your thighs together and look at him like he’s the only thing you’ll ever need.  He can’t stand it.
Still, He’s supposed to be a knight. He’s supposed to be a hero. Disciplined and proper. Courageous and strong. Polite. Gallant. Respect. Dignified.  Honorable.  He’s supposed to be  all those things.  And he is! He swears, deep down inside he is. He knows he is.  Everyone  knows he is. He’s been congratulated by the king directly before. Called upon by him to take up arms and join the fight. And He serves Princess. He serves the people. He serves the kingdom. Hell, he’s even wearing some of his royal armor right now. He’s supposed to be a knight. He’s supposed to be a hero. He’s supposed to be  protecting you  right now.
Not lifting up your dress and gripping your hips as he bounces your needy little hole down onto his cock over and over and over and over again.
It’s not what he should be doing. He has a mission. He has orders. He has a task to complete. Duty to fulfill. People to  protect.  People who  need  him. But your pussy feels so tight and so warm and so  wet  around his cock it’s amazing how he managed to last this long. But now that he started, he knows he can’t stop. He  won’t  stop. Not until he’s finished. Not until you’re  both  finished.
  “ Ah….um, Link- Ah~”
  However long it takes.
“You like that, princess?” He murmurs lowly, blue eyes narrowing in on your face as your eyes cross and your mouth falls open into a lewd expression. You don’t respond- at least, you don’t respond with words to his question. But at this point, he’s not even sure if you would have been able to hear him over the sounds of your cute little whimpers and moans as he thursts his hips into you. Or maybe it’s the dirty sounds of your  soaking  wet little cunt taking in every single inch of his dick that keeps you from hearing the sound of your lover’s voice. He doesn’t know for certain, but the selfish,  selfish  part of him likes to think it’s a combination of the two. And the rational part of him? “You’re taking me so well pretty girl.  So well. ”
The rational part of him  knows  it’s a little bit of both. Plus the fact that you always manage to get a little dick drunk when someone fucks you good and proper. And luckily for you, Link’s happy to play knight in shining armor to his needy little princess and her  perfectly tight little holes -
Fuck,  you bring out the worst in him. But you know that don’t you? He swears it. He swears you do. He swears you  have to .  Goddesses,  he doesn’t even remember what he’s supposed to be doing right now. He knows it was supposed to be something important. Something only he could do. But then you started getting anxious. After every battle, after every fight- you still manage to worry about him. You still manage to fear that your powers and your efforts as his support won’t be good enough.
It’s cute how you worry. It’s cute how you care. But he had a job to do. And he needed you in good shape to do it. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t quell your nerves. Your silent shaking. Your quiet whimpers. And worst of all? Every promise that he’ll protect was starting to fall flat in your ears. Every comforting touch didn’t seem like it worked. Didn’t seem like it was  enough . But he had a job to do. A job that included your safekeeping and your safe return. So he did what any good knight would do.
He pulled you into the nearest closet he could find and got you nice and relaxed on his fingers before stuffing you nice and full with his cock.
Now your moans bounce off the walls like hymns in a church. Now his name falls off of your lips like deities in a prayer. Now you can be protected. Nurtured. Cared for. All by him. All for you.
And maybe there were better ways of taking care of you and your fears. Maybe an orgasm and a good dicking down isn’t exactly what you need in this moment. But your precious little pussy is taking his cock so effortlessly that he’s starting to feel less of a knight and more like a man. A man who can’t help but have wants. A man who can’t help but feel lust. A man who can’t help but need to  fuck  a pretty girl when he’s not supposed to and make excuses about it.
And he’ll do it again the next chance he gets. He’ll do it all over again.
  “ Mmm, Link I’m…I’m close…”
Your whimper is quiet, but within the four walls of this closet, it could be the loudest thing in the world right now. Louder than the loud slap of his pelvis hitting against your skin. Louder than his armor groaning and creaking under all this movement. Louder than the sound of you get exactly what you asked for when you look at your hero to distract you- to  save you - from this moment of fear.
“ Oh, yeah baby? You’re getting close? ”
But that’s the thing… he knows. He knows because you’ve been getting louder. He knows because you’ve been getting  tighter . He knows because every single time his gaze falls back to the spot where your bodies join, and his dick gets swallowed up by your  perfect little cunt  time after time, he feels his own core tightening up in a way he can only assume will leave you nice and full and  messy  until he gets the chance to clean you up later on. He  knows  you’re close. He  knows .
“ Well, that’s too bad, princess.”  He grinds out, eyes narrowing into slits as his hands tighten his grip on your hips. And  goddesses,  how you whimper. Goddesses, how you  whine . But no matter how many times you beg him and you cry to him he doesn’t change up like he knows you want him to. He doesn’t shift his angle to hit deeper. He doesn’t speed up his thrusts to hit faster. He doesn’t cater to your every whim. He doesn’t listen to your heavenly cries when you beg him to let you reach euphoria with every single breath you take. At least, not this time. At least, not yet.
But fuck,  you bring out the worst in him. You bring out the absolute worst in him. You bring out the  man  in him. So it’s only fair. It’s only fair that he takes what’s his. It’s only fair that he calls the shots. That he makes the orders on this battlefield. That he fucks you how he wants to. That he fucks you how he needs to.
That he fucks you like he absolutely should.
Because deep down in his mind, he’s still a knight. He’s still disciplined and proper. Courageous and strong. Polite. Gallant. Respect. Dignified.  Honorable.  He can learn to say no to you. He can learn not to give into your every want. To your every need. He can learn. He can do it. He’s your knight in shining armor. He’s your one and only hero. Your one and only  everything . So he can do it. He can do it. He can.
  Can’t he?

« Stay || Revali ||
A/n: look I’m not good at coming up with titles.
Prompt used:
❝ i don’t have nightmares when you’re there. Here❞
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nightmare’s we’re nothing new, ever since what happened you felt like you were plagued with him, except when Revali was near you. It was just a comfort, you felt safe around him. You were spending another night with him and while he still maybe cocky he never tried anything.
The previous night was awful, the nightmare was awful that your barley slept yet you never told him because you rather not burden the Rito with everything that he had to deal with. But seeing he was turning to leave you, the words quickly left your mouth. “Wait!”
Turing abruptly, Revali bit back a ‘what’ though seeing how troubled you looked his gaze couldn’t help but soften. “What is it?”
Lowering your gaze, you clutched the blanket to your chest. “Can you stay?” Your voice was a whisper, you had to hold back the tears. “I don’t have nightmares when you are here.”
Blinking in surprise, part of him should have expected this. What you went through, he’d be surprised that if you didn’t suffer nightmares. He knew he could laugh it off, shrug and just ignore you then leave. He’d do it with anyone else but you, you were different.
A sigh escaped him as he sat next to you on the bed as he placed his wing on your head. “Ya, I’ll stay…just get some rest alright. You look like you’re about to pass out.”
Giving him a tired but grateful smile, you press your lips against his beak in a small kiss. Settling into your bed you yawned easily falling asleep.
Watching you, Revali pulled the blanket over your body as you sleep. “You don’t face those nightmares again. Not while I am around.”

BOTW!Link with an Extroverted Traveler Reader headcanons
You and Link just kinda cross paths while traversing through Hyrule
Obviously you start the conversation since you were the chatty one
He was a little surprised at how friendly you were with him
However, over time he gets used to your outgoing personality since you and him were traveling for a while
He also genuinely enjoys what you have to say
He's a good listener, so whatever you've said to him, he remembers
You are fully aware that he's the quiet one, but you don't care because he's good company
There are times where he might talk to you because he finds you comforting
When you finally go your separate ways, he gets kinda sad because he'll miss you
From time to time, he thinks about you
When he sees you again, you could tell he's happy because he smiles when he sees you
Idk I thought I'd do this cause I'm bored

Imagine Revali agreeing to pretend to date you, for publicity. If that was even considered a thing in Hyrule. You had a feeling that it wasn’t. He was obviously reluctant at first, however Zelda advised that he needed to appear more… Likable, in order for people to trust him. So, you agreed to help him out with that.
Zelda was, of course, the one to come up with the idea, but she mentioned that if Revali was in a relationship, then they could show his softer, more considerate side. Which would definitely be more likable than his actual personality. The two of you were very reluctant to agree to her idea, considering you hadn’t exactly had the most friendly relationship with the Rito, but she hadn’t exactly given you a choice. So, you pretended to like each other; talking and holding hands… or wings. You wouldn’t really go much further than that, since you were conscious of the fact that you weren’t really dating, and boundaries were important. Though, when it came to staying in other villages, you would agree to share a room with him - creating an awkward and almost painful experience for the two of you.
Revali had made it clear very early on that he wasn’t interested in you, and you were aware of the fact. You of course weren’t looking for a relationship with the RIto, so you were glad that nothing came of your fake relationship. Though, as time went on, you got used to the arrangement, and Revali stopped complaining about it. As you had agreed, nothing more came from the idea, but you wouldn’t say you hated him anymore. He was more like a friend now.
