#1: How many books did you read this year? According to my Storygraph, which I'm pretty sure is updated, I have read 53 books this year! Of course, the year is not over yet! I did hit my original goal of 50, although I later changed it to 60, which I will not be hitting haha. I'm currently in the middle of 10, but 0 chance I'll be finishing them all in December.

#3: What were your top five books of the year? In no particular order, because it was hard enough to get them down to 5 at all:

Waybound (Cradle #12/12, by Will Wight)

Painted Devils (Little Thieves #2/3, by Margaret Owen)

#4: Did you discover any new authors that you love this year?

Oh, GREAT question! I think literally everything I put above was a series I'd started in a previous year. Which makes sense because it usually takes me more than 1 book in a universe to get really invested. So this seems like a great time to include:

Jonathan Stroud, because I did start the Bartimaeus trilogy with Amulet of Samarkand, and I'm definitely planning to continue.

I also really enjoyed Beautiful, by Juliet Marillier, to the point where I'd like to read more of her stuff.

Break out your ears and sprinkle some pixie dust, it's Disney Night on Dancing With the Stars!

We opened the show with a little magic from Disney on Broadway. Michael James Scott, currently the Genie in Aladdin on Broadway, performed "Friend Like Me" while the pros danced with him. Even Alfonso and Julianne got in on the fun. It was a great performance and I was amused as I know that the song on Broadway includes a shout out to Dancing With the Stars ("Dancing With the Minotaurs").

There was also a performance by some of the pros set to a new song from the upcoming Moana 2, entitled "We're Back." Britt was one of the pros performing in the song and before the show she revealed her own Disney connection - she had played a cheerleader in all three High School Musical movies!

Our stars had two dances this week! In addition to their individual routines, which we will get to shortly, they also participated in team dances. Ilona and Dwight were the team captains. Dwight led Team Roar, featuring Danny, Stephen and Phaedra, and they danced to "I Just Can't Wait to Be King" to promote the upcoming Mufasa. They were pretty good but they were eclipsed by Ilona's Team Goof. Featuring Joey, Chandler and Jenn, they danced to "I to I" from A Goofy Movie and were tighter than Team Roar. And they pulled off some great tricks while surrounding it with great dancing. Definitely give this a watch! So everyone on Team Goof got a bigger boost in scores than Team Roar, which definitely affected the leaderboard.

So who owned the night and who trashed the camp in the individual round? Find out!

Phaedra and Val: Oh, Phaedra. I do have to agree with this elimination. Out of everyone remaining, she was the weakest link. She had similar problems in her jazz routine to "Cruella de Vil" and while dancing with Team Roar. Phaedra shone when she danced by herself but once you added a partner or partners, she tended to hesitate and stop, waiting for them. She didn't just trust herself or whoever she was dancing with and just danced. It made her routines feel like they were stop-and-go rather than smooth performances.

(Also, I am intrigued that they referenced the live-action 101 Dalmatians and not the animated movie).

Chandler and Brandon: Chandler and Brandon talked about how they had fallen to the middle of the leaderboard recently and vowed to get back to the top. And they did just that, fittingly with a song the Chandler herself sings - "We Own the Night" from Zombies 2. Milo Manheim and Meg Donnelly, her costars, showed up to give her support in rehearsals and it worked. She nailed the paso doble, a dance that had already gotten the best of other competitors this season. It was a surprise that she was picked last for the team dances but being on Team Goof allowed her to keep hold on the top spot. Hopefully she's had the breakthrough she needed and will continue moving upwards as we approach the finale.

Ilona and Alan: This was probably Ilona's best performance. Jazz suited her and let her have some fun with her routine. She and Alan danced to "Surface Pressure" from Encanto, allowing her to channel Luisa while Alan dressed as one of Luisa's donkeys. Alan's costume is going to be fuel for someone's night terrors and I don't blame the judges for not wanting to look at him. But he and Ilona impressed with some great moves and lifts anyway. Joey and Jenna: I'm impressed they chose to use "Trashin' the Camp" from Tarzan. It's an underrated classic, if you ask me. Joey was thrilled to dance to it, saying that Tarzan was his favorite movie. He revealed he used to have long hair and I think the hairstylists used the picture of him as inspiration for his Tarzan wig. As for his samba, Jenna packed it with a lot of content that Joey handled very well while having fun. Like many other contestants, the samba bounce was his weak point but otherwise it was a strong performance. He also had another one in the group dance as part of Team Goof.

Danny and Witney: I get that they wanted to capitalize on the Deadpool & Wolverine movie because it was the blockbuster of the summer. But counting "Bye, Bye, Bye" as a Disney song is a stretch. It did allow us to get a Joey Fatone cameo as he gave some advice to Danny and Witney ahead of their jazz routine. They knocked it out of the park, really embodying the characters and the movie as they pulled off some great moves. The only reason they are down this far is because they were on Team Roar, which lowered their overall score.

Jenn and Sasha: It seems everyone on the show ships these two. Their fellow contestants were even changing for Sasha to "Kiss the Girl" after their rumba to the song from The Little Mermaid. And I'm kinda impressed that Derek knows what shipping is. Again, Jenn and Sasha had a sensual rumba and she performed it well. I think she needs to watch her face. She sometimes concentrates too hard and doesn't convey the emotions she may need for the dance.

(Also, I love that Sasha mentioned his time as a dancing crab on the show when he was still in the troupe. It was a nice blast from the past).

Dwight and Daniella: It feels appropriate that would choose Wreck-It Ralph for Dwight and Daniella given their height different. Dwight seems to be getting a little better in controlling his moves and trying to make sure his height doesn't work against him. I'm also glad that Daniella put in more parts in hold and didn't try to avoid it. Dwight is still fun to watch but with Danny and Joey leap-frogging over him, I don't know if he can ever reclaim his old spot on the leaderboard - and being part of Team Roar certainly hurt him this week, though he was a pretty good team captain. They just got outdanced by Team Goof.

Stephen and Rylee: The Charleston returns to the ballroom! Assigning Stephen a song from Hercules is as much a no-brainer as Dwight being Wreck-It Ralph. However, I feel like they keep using this song and no one really manages to do well while dancing to it. I wished they would've let him dance to "Go the Distance" instead and maybe he would've fared better. The judges believed he was ahead of the beat. I'm not sure about that though I do think the pacing did get to him. But he has a second chance to do better next week and I hope he takes it - spray on tan or not.

And so Disney Night came to an end with one less star. It's being followed up by a tradition as beloved as Disney Night - Halloween Night! Things will get spooky in the ballroom as the remaining contestants participate in the dance off, with the exception of Chandler and Brandon as they have already been declared immune from it.

The Dallas DHS Office said what the suspects do exploits and victimizes trafficking victims.

One non-profit working to help sex trafficking victims said the DFW Metroplex is a hot spot for it because of its size and highway system to other parts of the country. They said there isn’t anything thing typical about a human trafficking suspect, as it can be almost anyone.

Frisco police said during the operation and following the investigation, they found no evidence of local underage sex trafficking, contrary to rumors.

"It’s happening more than people think and know," said Dr. Tonya Stafford Manning, who runs It’s Going to be OK, which is a Dallas-based non-profit organization that assists human trafficking victims.

Lewisville Independent School District confirmed Marcus High School teacher and football coach Tim Morrison was among the 46 suspects.

The district said Morrison was placed on administrative leave after his arrest and later resigned.

Fort Worth youth pastor Lamarcus Strickland was also arrested.

Spencer Asuchak, a 31-year-old professional hockey player who’s been with the Allen Americans — of the East Coast Hockey League — since 2013, according to the team’s web site, is one of dozens charged with solicitation of prostitution.

The team told , "We are aware of the situation. We don’t have a comment at this time as we gather more information."

A Baylor Scott & White Health director of operations, 49-year-old Jimmie Hemmingway, is also charged. Baylor said Hemmingway is no longer an employee.

"But this is happening. It’s happening right up under our noses. It’s happening right in our backyards," Dr. Manning added. "Nobody wants to get up and be a prostitute. Nobody wants to be trafficked. Nobody wants to be sold."

The dozens of men charged responded to online advertisements for prostitution, according to the Department of Homeland Security. But instead of communicating with women being trafficked, they were unknowingly communicating with law enforcement. Homeland Security did not detail what the posts read.
