"The Memory of Me (How Could I Forget)" (? - Brandi Milne) / “oh god i had a really big epiphany about love and personhood but i’m too drunk for words” (2019 - @sightofsea (@billypotts))
THE MEMORY OF ME (HOW COULD I FORGET): I love how Milne uses such bright colors, and child like imagery but manages to create such surreal and evocative imagery. (@beelzeblogging)
OH GOD I HAD A REALLY BIG EPIPHANY ABOUT LOVE AND PERSONHOOD BUT I'M TOO DRUNK FOR WORDS: Whenever I see this painting it hits me with the "2am drunk epiphany about love and personhood" feeling all over again. :) (@tangerinecat14)
("The Memory of Me (How Could I Forget)" is a painting by American artist Brandi Milne.

Tool Effing Tool Cologne Koln DE Tonight Limited Merch Poster At The Lanxess Arena On 18 Juni 2024 Artwork By Brandi Milne Classic T Shirt
30 years ago, I owned some furniture stores. It was just before Christmas and a young woman came into the store I was at that night to pick up a Tool Effing Tool Cologne Koln DE Tonight Limited Merch Poster At The Lanxess Arena On 18 Juni 2024 Artwork By Brandi Milne Classic T Shirt top desk that she had purchased on layaway. She made weekly payments towards this purchase and was proud and excited that she was able to buy this desk for her husband’s Christmas present. It seemed apparent that it was a real financial stretch for her to have afforded this. She had come to the store with a pickup truck, and we helped load the desk into the truck bed. With a merry Christmas and smiles all around, she left for home. Half an hour later, the woman came back to the store in tears. She had struck a pot hole in the highway and the desk was launched out of the truck and smashed to the ground. Fortunately no one was behind her, and a passerby helped get the desk back into the truck. Sobbing, she pleaded whether we could do anything to fix the desk. Clearly, though, it was irreparable. She was so distraught, there was clearly only one thing to do. We loaded another desk into her truck and I told her that it was my Christmas gift to her. She was so excited and thankful, and I think it really was a gift to myself. I felt really good about that!

Brandi Milne's "Everything I Ever Was."
Opening on October 29th, 2022 at Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles, California is artist Brandi Milne's solo exhibition, "Everything I Ever Was."
Regarding the show, Milne shares, “A collection of surreal spun tales laced with the cold hard truth about what it feels like to be fully human ─ Everything I Ever Was is my wild, bright, blazing human expression. To create these works, I dove deeply into the vivid world that lives within my imagination. I let my subconscious be my guide, as the subconscious is the womb of creation. The belly of these pieces hold my joy, my sorrow, my tenderness, and my grief. They hold my fear, my loneliness, as well as my love and my light.” Adding, “I offer these new images to my fellow humans in hopes that they can connect to the pure wonder within themselves. We are all connected by this beautiful thing we call humanity, and we need it now more than ever.”
