bali trip - day 2.

this is a chill day, as we stayed in our hotel the whole day. we bought the family gateway package which included free meals for the whole day, starting with a very trendy and instaworthy floating breakfast at our private pool.

the staff came to setup the floating basket at the pool, arranging all the food and then we start taking ten thousand photos with the food and around the pool, doing all sorts of funny stuff and trying different angles. it was quite enjoyable and also quite funny too. by the time we start eating, all the food is already cold.

the breakfast menu is quite a variety and we did pick a lot of different items to try, some of the food were okay, some other were not very nice though. it’s definitely more of the photo opportunity than to enjoy really good food. surprisingly, the basket is quite sturdy, so we actually is able to really use it as a table.

after we were done with food, we just continued chilling in the pool and just have lots of fun. it’s such a sunny day as well, so the water is not cold and it’s definitely nice to be able to just do our own stuff and enjoy our time in the private pool.

we got out of the pool for shower and rest around noon since it did become quite hot, and we also have to get ready for lunch. lunch was at the hotel restaurant’s garden area, they setup a picnic table under a tree for us, which is a really really nice photo opportunity again. while we were chilling and taking more photos, it started to rain suddenly, so we had to leave our picnic area and eat inside the restaurant instead. lunch menu was pizza, burgers, fries, and pastries, unfortunately, those were not very nice and we end up eating very little. it is a good thing that we were not too hungry since we have quite a lot for breakfast.

after lunch, we went back to our room to just chill. i attended online class while my friends just chill and do other stuff. we also played card games until late evening, it was really fun and such a relaxing time.

they served dinner at our dining table, it was mainly chinese style dishes, and there’s quite a lot of food as well. all the dishes were just alright, they were not very appetizing in taste, so there were quite a lot of leftovers as well.

after dinner, we continue with our chit chat and games and also open our ice wine to enjoy as the night went by. i ended the night with a nice bubble bath before going to bed. it is definitely a very relaxing and chill day, and that’s what vacation should be like.

I gotta give it to her, my girl Milly knows what she wanted in life. Yeah, she might be just a shopping assistant in one of those fancy boutiques at Rodeo Drive, but she knows she'll be living the soft life she desired one day. Our combined hard work would never be enough to get her to Bali with private jet, 5-stars trip or spending winter in one of those lavish Aspen hotels, so she gets creative with her approach. I don't want to get into too much detail (because I don't want yall to copy my girl!) but putting my soul inside one of her frequent customer that always pampered his girlfriend is quite a drastic yet clever way for her to get rich quick.

Everything went like a whirlwind, I dumped his fiancee, I blasted my girl all across his social media to tell the world that we're dating and I blew his money to pamper Milly with everything she desired.

I also spent some money for myself too, it's always a rush when I see the balance in my bank account just dented a bit from what the old me consider as an extravagant and disgustingly tone-deaf consumption. 2k for skincare? 5k for sets of shoes? 30k for men's jewellery? Nothing is out of reach when you're a nepo baby blowing your shipping magnate parents money. Now, I'm going to pick her up from her morning yoga class and we're probably going to hop on my jet to Vancouver for a quick weekend trip. So, it's a see you later, I guess?
