The reason for our existence; why we live and move and have our being.

God is the reason and meaning for our existence

Our God is a Creator God. He made everything.

“The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. (Acts 17:24-25)

He made us and gave us life. Life in His Image.

“Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” (Genesis 2:7)

If it weren’t for Him we wouldn’t be here and hypothetically speaking if we were we’d be miserable. Without God what would we have? What would we do? We would surely make a mess of our lives and then have no one to save us and help us fix things. We wouldn’t have a Savior. We wouldn’t have endless love and mercy. We wouldn’t have boundless Grace.

Our existence wouldn’t have any reason at all. We wouldn’t have the joy that can only be found in God our Father. In knowing Him and loving Him. We wouldn’t feel connected and always loved. We wouldn’t have a purpose. We wouldn’t experience miracles.

He gives our life meaning. He gives us a purpose. He blesses us. He sustains us. He protects us. He leads us. He provides for our every need. The very air we breath is His.

He is always with us.

“And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20)

It is in Him, in Him alone, that we have our very being. Because of HIM, our lives have meaning.

“For in him we live and move and have our being.” (Acts 17:28)
