Intel 200S Boost Overclocking Profile boost game performance

Intel-protected overclocking boosts game performance.
Intel 200S Boost, an overclocking profile for Intel Core Ultra 200S series CPUs (K-SKUs), gives PC enthusiasts a warranty-backed way to overclock.
Designed for unlocked Intel Core Ultra 200S Series CPUs like the Intel Core Ultra 7 265K, the 200S Boost overclocking profile works with compatible Intel Z890 motherboards and Intel XMP DIMMs. Users may achieve higher fabric, die-to-die, and memory frequencies, boosting low-latency gaming performance. Intel's three-year limited warranty and performance improvements will apply to eligible Intel Core Ultra 200S series CPUs.

Core Ultra 9 285K
Core Ultra 7 265K
Core Ultra 7 265KF
Intel Ultra 5 245K
Intel Ultra 5 245KF
Motherboard Support
As of April 22, some Intel Z890-based motherboards with the latest BIOS will support the 200S Boost overclocking profile. This overclocking profile has been tested on the following motherboards, however this list is not exhaustive:
Memory Module Support
At 8000 MT/s, the Intel 200S Boost overclocking profile is designed for one stick of Intel XMP memory per channel, or “1DPC.” Both CUDIMM and UDIMM qualify. This overclocking profile has been tested with the following memory kits by partners:
Limitations on Hardware
Overclocking depends on motherboard design, layout, and BIOS optimisations. The Intel 200S Boost profile may not be optimal on some motherboards. Each memory module's rating may not meet software requirements. Any overclocking effort may cause system instability until reversed, and predicted speeds are not guaranteed.
Dual-channel memory sticks are not supported by Intel 200S Boost. Depending on the motherboard and memory module design, a 4 UDIMM arrangement may offer better memory rates.
200S Boost Overclocking Profile Use
Intel 200S Boost requires the latest BIOS version on your motherboard.
Start the 200S Boost Profile. In the BIOS overclocking section, choose “Intel 200S Boost” from the presets.
Restart your computer. Restart your PC to enable Intel 200S Boost.
Use Cinebench to test system stability.
Track Performance: Intel XTU can monitor voltage and temperature.
Boost 200S Limitations and Warranty Disclaimers
Overclocking an Intel CPU with the 200S Boost profile will not breach its limited warranty. Warranty conditions remain unchanged. No pre-debut overclocked processors are suitable for this profile.
Overclocking yields different results. The 200S Boost profile does not guarantee overclocking frequencies or performance.
Intel 200S Boost does not change Intel component performance requirements.
Overclocking damage to non-Intel components is not covered by Intel's warranty.
Intel boxed processors have 200S Boost warranties. Intel support or the shop can help with boxed CPUs. Only the system maker or OEM that sold you your PC offers warranty service. For warranty or problem assistance, contact your OEM or reseller.
The 200S Boost profile simplifies Intel Core Ultra 200S series processor (K-SKU) performance optimisation. We think new PC aficionados would like this feature. Your feedback will help Intel decide on programs like Intel 200S Boost.

Slowed
Impaired
Shredded
The effects of Flagellant's Bliss can only be removed by deactivating the system as a protocol. This core system has the Efficient tag.
LL1
CLAW KNIFE: Auxiliary melee weapon, threat 1, 1D3+1 kinetic damage. This weapon has the thrown 5 and AP tags. The Claw Knife's blade is made for slipping between the gaps in an enemy's armor, searching for the soft, sensitive innards of humming wires and pulsing tubes. This weapon has an alternate profile which can only be used on a grappled target. DIG IN: Deals 1 AP kinetic damage to the target but also causes the enemy to become shredded and prevents them from breaking free of the grapple until the start of your next turn.
INORGANIC STEROIDS: You count as one size larger than you actually are for grapple checks and gain +1 accuracy on contested hull checks.
LL2
PSYCHO KILLER FRAME.
ROD & REEL: Attaches a hook and reinforced cable to thrown melee weapons. If the throwing attack misses the cable retracts, automatically retrieving the weapon and re-equipping it at the start of your next turn. If the attack hits the weapon embeds itself in the victim. The cable has a maximum length of 10, and while hooked the enemy cannot move away from you. You may retract the cable to pull the hooked enemy towards you using your movement. For every 2 spaces of your movement used the enemy is pulled 1 space closer. A hooked enemy can remove the hook with a contested hull check or by making an improvised attack against the hook.
RIPPER MACHETE: Main melee weapon, threat 2, 2D3+2 kinetic damage, reliable 3. This weapon has the thrown 6 and inaccurate tag. A brutal weapon with a blade of oscillating teeth that rip and tear. If the Ripper Machete is used to attack the same target it last attacked it gains the AP tag.
LL3
OVERCLOCKED SHOULDER SERVOS: When making a thrown melee attack you may double the throw's range with +1 difficulty at the cost of 2 heat.
METAL CANNIBAL: This is not a weapon, nor is it a piece of software, this is a revolutionary overhaul of your mech's chassis for a single morbid purpose. Your mech's head (or other part of your mech if preferred) now bears an awful maw of whirling sawblades, burning torches, crushing grinders, all for the purpose of taking bites out of other mechs. With Metal Cannibal installed, each time you make a successful improvised attack against any target or score a critical hit with any melee weapon you earn a point of Cannibalized Scrap which is tracked with a D6, holding a maximum of 6 points. Points of Cannibalized Scrap can be consumed during your turn as a protocol for your choice of the following benefits
Instantly reload all weapons with the Loading tag (1 point)
Gain +1 accuracy on your next roll (2 points)
Gain +1 evasion and E-defense until the end of your next turn (2 points)
Instantly clear 1 hostile status affecting your mech (3 points)
Use Overcharge once at no heat cost (3 points)
Clear all heat (4 points)
Instantly clear 2 hostile statuses affecting your mech (5 points)
Refill your HP (6 points)
Restore 1 destroyed system or weapon mount on your or an ally's mech (6 points)
Gain overshield equal to the amount of points stored plus 1 (consumes all stored points)

How to Choose the Best CPU for your Next Gaming PC?
The CPU market is flooded with choices, which makes selecting the right processor a difficult task. With the continuous introduction of new technologies and new processor models such as AMD Ryzen 7 5700G and i9 13th 13900k releasing every 12 months to a year, it implies that the market is changing in a rapid manner. If you're thinking of buying, it's crucial to make sure that your choice isn't going to be outdated, and that you are getting an efficient and reliable processor you can get within the budget you've established.
In this regard, how do you determine what processor to buy? Should you choose the best processor that can reduce bottlenecks while also maximising performance? Should you instead opt for a cheaper processor in the possibility of a later upgrade? We are sure you've got many concerns. We have tried to answer every one of them in this article.
AMD CPUs
It was never thought that AMD would be able to compete with Intel. Prior to Ryzen CPUs, AMD's FX processors weren't the best and although they were cheaper than Intel's huge Intel was but they were not as good. The Ryzen CPUs, like AMD Ryzen 7 5700G which are in use in the present are simply amazing and it's safe to claim that for a specific duration of time AMD was ahead of Intel in regards to technology. AMD used smaller silicon chips and allowed backward compatibility with majority of their processors. These minor features might be overlooked but they make AMD processors extremely powerful.
Intel CPUs
Intel was the reigning king of CPUs for a long period, and even today, gamers are still using Intel processors such as the i9 13th 13900k. Recently, Intel has become more appealing than ever because of the new features of Intel 12th Gen. This Intel 12th Gen line was among the first to feature DDR5 memory compatibility along with PCI-E 5.0 for SSDs as well as GPUs, and the completely new XMP 3.0 profile. While DDR5 is more expensive in features, other features like PCI-E 5.0 are cheaper and can help secure the system from the upcoming GPU releases.
Important Things to Take Note of
Support for Overclocking - The first step is to find out if your CPU has overclocking capabilities. Ryzen is an excellent option, considering that AMD allows overclocking across their entire A-series of motherboards.
Cores & Threads - Number of cores within the CPU determines the number of tasks it can handle simultaneously. If a CPU has four cores, it can carry out four tasks at the same time. Threads work as an unrealized core that could boost the performance of CPUs.
Integrated Graphics - The concept of integrated graphics can be viewed as exclusive, but they can be beneficial for people who are looking for the ability to cut costs.

I like to try and figure out what sort of characterization went into the skills. Lappie's is pretty simple. She likes fighting. She is obsessive. She keeps fighting harder and harder. SHE FIGHTS HARDER TILL EVERYONE IS DEAD Flamebringer doesn't bother to draw his sword either mostly or till he really feels like the battle is getting him going. But what sort of reasoning went into making the schwing schwing so powerful? A secret clan technicue he is now using for you bc you are THAT WORTH IT?
Lappland’s Skills all being Auto is also pretty cool since it represents her wild nature and unwillingness to take orders beyond what’s necessary (she will fight the way she deems proper, thank you very much).
Flamebringer, yeah, pretty much, once he is finally convinced the fight is worth it, only THEN he tries. You could consider his S2 stats to be his ‘real’ stats.
By Schwing Schwing I assume you mean SilverAsh, and I think it’s simpler than you’d think: Truesilver Slash is SilverAsh completely abandoning defense to focus on hit as well and hard as possible. Compared to his safer S1 and S2 options, S3 is like that, in my opinion, because regardless of your dealings with him now, you two are more or less business rivals (SilverAsh and Kal’tsit are in agreement with this), and after the Reunion matter is sealed, who knows what will happen between the two companies. S3 is SilverAsh trusting you sufficiently, to the point that he can count on you not getting him killed when he completely drops his defense. With that certainty in his mind, then he doesn’t mind utilizing the Truesilver Slash, because he trusts you to give him the cover he needs (and, you know, not setting him up for his death).
Others I like plenty are:
Ptilopsis S2 being basically Ptilopsis overclocking herself to crank that Disk and CPU usage to 100% to expand her healing range and to deliver healing Arts at lightning fast velocity. The long cooldown between uses indicates she can’t quite force her mental faculties to do that in rapid succession.
Specter S2 can be interpreted as Specter pushing her ill, Oripathy-ravaged body to its very limit, bringing forth her strength and endurance from when she was at her prime for a brief moment, hence the immense stat boost and straight up immortality... But the candle that burns twice as bright, lasts half as long, so when her time is up, she has to rest for some seconds because she becomes unable to move from pushing herself that hard.
Angelina’s are all applications of her gravity powers, which I enjoy greatly: S1 is simply heavier Arts blasts, S2 is focusing her Arts not on hitting hard, but on weighting down, hence her stream of individually light hits that completely cripple an enemy she focuses on, and S3 is wide area heavy gravity hits, trying to tie down as many people as possible instead of just one person. Gravity as a power is very flexible, so with more time, she presumably could do a million more things, her only limit right now being her inexperience.
Gravel is a case I particularly like! The fact that she wears almost no armor besides her chest plate, and her choice of weaponry being two short swords all suggest that her immense defensive capabilities are all based around parrying and deflecting blows rather than either taking them or dodging them. Her Files fail to mention any sort of Arts, and her Profile show all of her parameters as “Standard” with the exception of Combat Skill, which is at Excellent. Just based on her weaponry, she probably meets every attack head-on with a deflection, a parry, a swipe to the enemy’s vulnerable spot, everything to safely stall them, given that is her main job. I like to consider her HP bar as a sort of “Stamina bar”; you can only parry so many attacks before your arms go numb and your stamina depletes. The fact that she’s a Fast Redeploy also implies that she catches her breath incredibly quickly. Just a few seconds of downtime and in she goes again.

Legacy AMD APU Llano Laptop for Emulation tests - Part 2
Software tools and Emulators used.
I covered everything about my laptop and its history. I went from Windows 10 to Manjaro XFCE 19 and installed needed software to get great performance and needed emulators to suit my laptop's hardware. I find AUR builds easy again because I can find plugins and needed standalone emulators for good testing. AUR builds work almost perfect for me, aside from some build time, but as long as it can installed a program or an extension, I'm good.
For my laptop, I installed TPC, or TurionPowerControl to overclock my laptop's CPU. The bios doesn't have an option for permanent overclock, since it's a laptop. However, the CPU has used much voltage by default for big room for overclocking with little higher power draw. At stock, it run at base 1.5Ghz at 1.1625V and 2.4Ghz boost at 1.415V. It can easily be undervolted to cool the laptop a bit. The temp limit is at 85C, so it can throttle the CPU if it reaches around that point. Undervolt would go down to 1.5Ghz at 1.0625V and 2.4Ghz boost at 1.200V, which brings down about seven percent deop on temperature, and little more battery life. Overclock would hit up to 2.3Ghz at 1.175V and 2.8Ghz at 1.400V, only little voltage change on each, and still runs stable. Note that each CPUs can differ silicon quality that can reach lower or higher voltage for overclocking or undervolting. Averagely, my laptop's CPU performance would be 33% increase. The Llano APUs are one of the exceptions that you can overclock your laptop without much worry.
I installed Gamemode for Linux, and I explained in the last page. It's useful for setting power mode for both CPU and GPU to performance mode, so it will use highest clock speed as much as it can. Radeon-Profile is an app on Linux that can force power mode on GPU if you run a program if you can't use gamemode for whatever reason. On Windows, you can force performance mode on Catalyst driver, and have Windows set to performance mode on power setup. Drivers used on Linux as of this writing is Mesa r600g Driver 19.3.
Now let's get to the list of emulators I will be using for each system. Some are using Retroarch.
NES: I'm using Nestopia and Mesen on Retroarch. Both are quite accurate, with the latter being the most accurate. Nestopia is the fastest option, but Mesen can run pretty smoothly too with default settings. Nestopia has much more headroom for Runahead and NES CPU overclocking. I use FireBrandX's digital palettes.
SNES: I use Snes9x Mainline for Retroarch and new standalone Bsnes v110 for test. Snes9x runs very well and can use both features listed above. Bsnes is used for testing mostly. I'll explain about Bsnes, but what I can say is it can run a lot of games at fullspeed. No need for Libretro's old many Bsnes cores in my opinion and Snes9x Mainline is suitable generally. Bsnes AUR builds are available.
N64: On Windows, it was Project64 with Jabo's D3D8 1.6.1 Plugin, but after switching to Linux, Mupen64Plus with GlideN64 while using Mesa drivers offers a better option. Since February 2020, M64p is free once again so you don't have to do DIY build for each plugin to use with Mupen64plus, and get good GUI. Just go to this website: https://github.com/loganmc10/m64p/releases . If it doesn't go free in the future, you would have to use AUR files to build plugins and find the gui. There is Mupen64Plus Next for Retroarch, but a standalone build is the fastest and more reliable option.
Gamecube/Wii: I use beta builds of Dolphin to measure it. We'll explain about that later on.
Sega SMS/Genesis/GameGear/32x: I use Genesis GX Plus on Retroarch, and it runs pretty great. For 32x, I can use Kega Fusion for Windows, or Picodrive core, but I don't have 32x game to test.
Sega Saturn: I use Yaba Sanshiro, and it's the fastest emulator you can get for the laptop. Yaba Sanshiro has some great options.
Sega Dreamcast: I installed Redream. It is the fastest dreamcast emulator available and more accurate than NullDC. I do have a fork of Reicast called Flycast that is used for testing too. https://flyinghead.github.io/flycast-builds/ (ubuntu build is just linux build). I do recommend using Flycast standalone builds instead of Libretro core one since standalone Hardware-based rendering emulators often run faster than on Retroarch.
Playstation 1: I use both PCSX-R PGXP and PCSX-Rearmed core. PCSX-R has great option for perspective correction and much less jittering polygons while being faster than Libretro's Beetle PSX core and standalone Mednafen. The explanation on those four emulators and the windows PCSX-R on Pete's OpenGL2 Tweak will also be mentioned.
Playstation 2: I use PCSX2.
GB/GBC: Sameboy. It is more accurate than Gambatte and VBA.
GBA: mGBA, and it is the fastest and most accurate GBA emulator I used.
NDS: Despite development drama, I use standalone Desmume mainline. It's pretty good for this laptop since you have an option to use frameskip. MelonDS with JIT will be included.
3DS: Citra Canary is the best option.
PSP: PPSSPP.
Dos: Dosbox ECE or Dosbox-X at best. ECE install for Dosbox is difficult, and you would need to build one, but I wanted a 32bit build since the dynamic core is pretty robust in 32bit. However on Linux, some forks or main are kinda hard to find 32bit version to have full speed for dynamic recompiler since 64bit is slower or has bugs. At the end, I use Dosbox-X, and it performs the same as standard Dosbox on normal mode. On Dynamic mode, you would need 32bit version to get the exact on either Windows or Linux.
Win9x: PCEM. Using v15 and use 486 CPUs.
Wine: Linux specific to run Windows programs. You can use Stable builds or Staging builds. Lutris and Proton can be used. Although, since my laptop's APU lacks Vulkan support, running DX11 games are much harder and barely run. The APU isn't really that strong for many DX11 games anyway. DX9 works with default OpenGL wrapper, but since we're using AMD GPU with a Mesa Gallium Driver, we can run Native DX9 API on Wine with Gallium Nine Standalone. You just install needed dependencies for Mesa D3D9 files to have Gallium Nine config enable Native DX9. DX10 is the same story as DX11. DX8 and lower works pretty good for the most part. Note that Wine is not an Emulator, but a compatibility layer.
Those are the softwares that will be used for performance testing on the next page.
Next Page on CPU emulation tests.
Previous Page on the laptop overview.

The ‘advanced’ section of the BIOS can be accessed by pressing the F7 key and in the middle panel features some MSI Arsenal range of branding, the series this board hails from. The advanced section offers the OC section for overclocking the CPU and memory, an M-Flash section or updating the boards firmware to the latest version, a hardware monitor for setting and creating custom fan profiles and board explorer which allows users to get a birds-eye view of the board and its installed components. It should be noted that the B350 Tomahawk would apply an extra 200 MHz than this model which in our overclocking testing equates to around a 14 ☌ with the 3.2 GHz at 1.2 V that Game Boost applies compared to 1.4 V which when manually overclocking, allows our chip to hit 4.0 GHz a massive improvement over 3.2 GHz at 1.4 V. This marks a massive improvement in terms of voltage over the B350 Tomahawk which would apply a much heftier voltage of 1.4 V on the CPU.

With the Game Boost applied, the B450 Tomahawk put a total of 1.2 V on the CPU VCore of our Ryprocessor when at full load. For reference and first-generation Ryzen users, the Game Boost applies a 3.8 GHz overclock to a Ryzen 7 1800X, 3.6 GHz to a Ryand a very modest 3.2 GHz to a Ryprocessor. The Game Boost button applies different settings based on whichever model of processor is installed. Throughout the whole of the BIOS at the top of the screen is the Game Boost one-click overclocking button as well as a one-click A-XMP memory profile button the settings applied depends on the installed CPU and RAM respectively. Core and key details such as CPU frequency, CPU core voltage, DRAM frequency and even the RAMs XMP profiles can be viewed using the coinciding menus on the left-hand side. The EZ mode offers users with basic information on installed components such as the CPU, memory and storage devices. When users turn the motherboard for the first time and enter the BIOS (pressing Del or F2 during POST), the initial entry screen is the first one to come up. The firmware is separated into two main areas which include an ‘Easy’ mode for the newcomer and an ‘advanced’ mode for more competent users looking to tweak and change settings such as voltages and frequencies.
