Boof-e-Koor is not a book that tells an experience, it is in itself an experience. So what was my Blind Owl experience? With every page I felt as if I was spiraling down through my subconscious and unconscious until I plunged into the collective unconscious. The Girl: a black cloak and a meeting of eyes; shinny, alluring and sensuous eyes. Another! Old Man: grey hair, long grey beard with the index finger of his left hand pressed against his lips. Another turn! I felt I was walking into a fantastic landscape of trees and hills of geometrical shapes.
A dream or a hallucination?
The eyes, the grey-haired man, the cart, the dead body, the suitcase, the landscapes, laying in bed, eyes meeting, the old man, the girl, eyes meeting…a dream or hallucination? Or a reading of the Blind Owl?
I put the book down, I walk into cylinders, perfect cones and truncated cones and I see up ahead a female figure in a black cloak and an old man ready to drag me into a jungle in the back of an old wooden cart. I see Hedayat, I reach for him. He evaporates and turns into thick black smoke.
Reading the Blind Owl should come with a warning, yet an amazing surrealist one.

Quote
Finally I realized that I was a demi-god and that I was beyond all the low, petty desires of mankind. I felt the eternal flux within me. What is eternity? Eternity for me was playing hide-and-seek with that whore on the banks of the Suren river; it was a momentary closing of my eyes when I hid my head in her lap.

There are certain sores in life that, like a canker, gnaw at the soul in solitude and diminish it.

I write only for my shadow which is cast on the wall in front of the light. I must introduce myself to it.
