On the 9/11 attack on the pentagon...
A Boing 757 would be going at 918 km/h = 255 m/s. It would have been extremely luck to catch one frame of the plane before it crashed into the pentagon, especially considering the unreliable data recording of security cameras in the early ‘00s.
And the flight recorder from the plane was recovered. Although cockpit voice recorder was damaged beyond repair the flight data recorder was fine. So the exact position of the plane was known from liftoff to crash.
