SHIT IGNORE THE LAST ONE- RIDOC 9 AND DEVIL WENT DOWN TO GEORGIA AHHHHH (I'm an idiot and didn't realize I sent the wrong prompts đŸ˜©đŸ˜)
Ridoc 9
So I broke my pattern for TUH. Usually, Ridoc gets the even chapters and Bodhi gets the odd chapters, but in this case, I think everyone can agree that we needed to stick with Ridoc.
“Did you hear me, Ridoc?” “Yes,” he breathed. “Yes, you want me to fuck you?” Bodhi took a step closer, pushing Ridoc back into the wall. It took all Ridoc’s self-control not to grab onto Bodhi’s curls and smash their mouths together. “Yes, I heard you.”
The Devil Went Down to Georgia
This was supposed to be my Tamlin week fic but I got as far as putting the lyrics into my document. With Tamlin playing the role of Johnny and Amarantha playing the role of Devil. The song's story has a lot of parallels with the first ACOTAR book and the UTM plotline. I may repurpose it for SJM Villain Week with only a few adjustments to make it more Amarantha-centric.
I guess you didn't know it, but I'm a fiddle player, too. And if you'd care to take a dare I'll make a bet with you. Now you play a pretty good fiddle, boy, but give the Devil his due. I'll bet a fiddle of gold against your soul 'cause I think I'm better than you.
See what I mean? It's perfect

bodoc University au
(but if I could say all of them, I would <3)
I don't want to give too much away on this one as it's the @rq-gift-exchange fic, but my giftee asked for an au and TSwift lyrics.
My brain realized it's Pride and immediately though "You Need to Calm Down" and supportive friends when someone on campus *cough* Jack Barlowe *cough* is a homophobic bigoted asshat

20 Questions for Writers Game
Thank you for tagging me, @yanny-77 and @caeli0306!
1. How many works do you have on AO3? 14! Plus a bunch on fanfiction.net from back in the day...*checks* 23. 23 works on FF.net that I will not share with you unless you are my friend, lol.
2. What’s your total AO3 word count? 114,162 words
3. What fandoms do you write for? The Empyrean (Fourth Wing) is the only fandom I currently write for, including one crossover with Bridgerton. All of my back-in-the-day fanfiction was for Harry Potter, but I don't write for anything other than the Empyrean anymore.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos? Just Ask - 1,087 Xaden POV: At Samara - 350 Throne Scene: Xaden POV Microfiction - 170 Dear Brennan - 117 Bridgegiath - 110
5. Do you respond to comments? Yes! At least, I try to. Though when I get an influx of a lot of comments at a time, I get overwhelmed and a little anxious about wanting to respond to them all, and then I get avoidant, heh. So it may not be right away, but I try to respond to as many comments as I can, and often will go back weeks later and then respond to them once I'm less anxious. As any writer will tell you, comments absolutely make my day and I read them over and over again, even going back and reading them days or weeks (or months) later.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Probably Happy Birthday, Violet, which is a drabble I wrote for the "birthday" prompt from the RQ War Games events in June. It's not necessarily angsty so much as sad. (I was hurting again about Liam at the time, lol.) It's tiny and short, you'll be fine.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? I have no idea how to answer this. Almost all of them are happy! I think. Uh. Okay @yanny-77 tells me that the answer is Ridoc Talks To The Dragon, and I believe her.
8. Do you get hate on fics? Nope! Well, never on AO3 or Reddit. I got, like...three negative comments on my biggest HP fic on FF.net years ago, but they were only three comments among over 400, so whatever, lol.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Yes! I have written M/F and M/F/M. I only want to write sex if there are feelings involved, though, so I don't write any pwp. I don't know that I could, to be honest. The only fic I've written that had smut, outside of Just Ask, is canon-compliant TO Just Ask, and leans on the context built in the main longfic, heh. So...therrrrrre you have it!
10. Do you write crossovers? Yes! But only one. Bridgegiath is a Bridgerton-Empyrean crossover fic where all the characters from Fourth Wing are in a Bridgerton-world, more or less following the plot from Bridgerton Season 1. The most common comment type I've gotten on it is "the crossover I didn't know I needed AND I NEED IT SO MUCH", lol. It's hilarious and delightful and I plan to get back to it once the summer is over and I have more time to write again!
Bridgegiath - a Riorgail, Bodoc, Immrick, Jesiam fic, featuring (among all the others), Lady Durranbury as Lady Danbury. It's a blast.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? No
12. Have you ever had a fic translated? I will steal @yanny-77's answer and say that I am not cool enough for that. Lmao
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? Hell yes. Co-writing has become my love language. I've co-written with @yanny-77 and @sarahydeart and all four times were fucking awesome.
Dear Brennan The Book Cat Garrick's Snorkel Ridoc Talks To The Dragon
14. What is your all-time favorite ship? My favourite ship is Liam/Violet/Xaden, for many reasons, which I will list now lol.
I adore each of the dynamics in this triad: the obvious friends-to-lovers, protect-you-with-my-life, slow burn fall of Violet and Liam; the explosive chemistry between Violet and Xaden; and the love that would grow between Xaden and Liam, born of being fostered together after the trauma of losing their parents, being separated for two years when Xaden went to Basgiath, and then meeting again once Liam gets there--and then they both fall for the same person.
I think Liam balances out a lot of Xaden's dark-and-broody energy, and could bring out a more relaxed version of him. And I think Xaden could bring out a harder edge to Liam that would be incredibly sexy. Liam and Violet's dynamic I obviously adore, and I think the way they take care of each other is fucking delightful and healthy and sweet. I think there's such an easy likelihood that both Xaden and Liam would fall for Violet.
I genuinely don't consider either Liam or Xaden to be bisexual, but I think they could fall for each other in this specific scenario, because of the unique dynamic of trust they have with each other.
All of this to say...Liam/Violet/Xaden is my One True Polypairing, heh, and one day I might write it. But that is a very distant, very pipe-dreamy one day.
Shoutout to Harry/Hermione, though. I'll die on that hill to this day.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? Oof. I absolutely intend to continue Bridgegiath once I'm less busy, this summer has been absolutely bananas, and I'm REALLY hoping I'll be able to take it to a satisfying conclusion eventually.
16. What are your writing strengths? I have been told, and I think I agree and hope that it's true, that I'm able to wring quite a wide range of emotions out of my readers. I have it on good authority that I can bring you from thrilling tension to desperately turned on to heart-stopping angst without missing a beat, and have a decent eye for knowing when to insert a funny little exchange to ease tension before diving back in.
17. What are your writing weaknesses? I hope I won't lose my fanbase if I honestly say "finishing", heh. Though looking back at my history, I actually did finish both longfics that I wrote for Harry Potter, and I'm on track to finish Just Ask in a timely manner. I'm not too worried about Bridgegiath, because I know I'm much more likely to be invested in it again once I'm done Just Ask. It's just my original stuff that I struggle with I guess...
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? I would rely entirely on Google translate if I ever did this, and thus would probably butcher any attempt.
19. First fandom you wrote for? Harry Potter, waaaaay back in 2007, two days after Deathly Hallows came out. I couldn't accept that Harry and Hermione didn't get together. (And I still can't.)
20. Favorite fic you’ve written?
Just Ask. It's probably the best thing I've ever written. I started writing it to deal with my intense book hangover after Iron Flame, I'm still writing it, and it will be finished before the release of Onyx Storm. I am fiercely proud of it.

so curious how many ppl have told on the road again!xaden in the past 2 yrs that he's fucked up...like obviously ridoc but the rest of vi's squad as well. liam maybe???? bc he probably saw how violet was like after all of that... which wouldve been an Interesting Conversation btw him and xaden for sure
Ridoc, BIG yes. constantly. At every possible opportunity, he's piping up to remind Xaden what he's missing out on. Rhi and Sawyer are also a yes, but a much smaller yes, in that they prefer not to interact with Xaden at all, whatsoever. They see him more now, with Bodhi and Ridoc being together, but Rhi and Sawyer resisted even LOOKING at Xaden for a while.
Liam was soooo mad. Like, probably the maddest he's ever been at Xaden ever, in his whole life. Of course, with the marked ones, they know Xaden's lore, and so they understand why he did what he did, so they relented. I don't plan on Liam ever being on screen in this fic, except MAYBE in the little Bodoc backstory I've told @siobhanbooks about and no one else, but now I am imagining this conversation, and hmmmm...wheels are turning.

Hola! From the end of the year asks, what is your song of the year and favorite book you read this year? (I want some recommendations)
Holaaa! Let me see
End of the Year Ask list
Song of the year?
Do songs from other years that I've been listening to count? Cause if they do, I'll rec some of the songs I've been listening to lately: Zamba para olvidarte, Friday I'm in love and Life in Technicolor II
14. Favorite book you read this year?
I don't think I've read non-academic books this year, I've been mostly reading articles and papers for a thing I have to write for university lol I can rec you some things from last year tho! I read Tiempo de dragones by Liliana Bodoc, a fantasy series. So far I've only read the first two books and I thought the story was unfinished as she sadly died in 2018 but I was just checking and it turns out her daughter and son published the third part last year! Now I have an excuse to go library hunting 👀

para el coso de los libros! 1, 14 (lol), 18, 66
dskljfklsjfklsjfl thank uuuuuuuu
1. a book that is close to your heart
podrĂa dar ochocientas respuestas pero voy a decir Amigos por el viento de Liliana Bodoc. There's not a single short story in that book that doesn't make me cry Now As An Adult. It's like. Fundamentally a part of me.
14. a book that made you trip on literary acid
god wouldnt it be cool if books could make you trip on literally acid. anyways i think the best answer i can give to this is Mein Name sei Gantenbein by Max Frisch. A frankly bizarre book that is profoundly unconcerned with the concept of plot. One identity on top of another. I feel like it's fitting because in a way this book made me feel like I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together :)
18. your least favorite book ever
I have never in my life read something as insufferably pretentious as this was. realmente insoportable en todo sentido
66. a book that fucked you up
be all end all of books that have fucked me up Recuerdo de la Muerte de Bonasso. trataba de calmarme con "es un libro" y no funciona porque es una mezcla de novelizaciĂłn y entrevista. hay cosas ahĂ en las que pienso hasta hoy.

The underpants heist is baaaaack and it’s sooo good!! đŸ©·đŸ«¶đŸŒđŸ©Č
New Chapter! The Underpants Heist
Technically published yesterday but AO3 was broken
so posting today!
Chapter 1 | Chapter 2 | Chapter 3 | Chapter 4 | Chapter 5 | Chapter 6 | Chapter 7 | Chapter 8 | Chapter 9 | Chapter 10 | Chapter 11 | Chapter 12
Word Count: 13,239/131,818
Fic Summary: Following War Games and the events at Resson, Bodhi is overwhlemed by grief, the rebellion, and his new position as Flame Sectionleader and finds himself turning to Liam's squadmate Ridoc for solace as the two scheme an elaborate plan to steal Commandant Panchek's underpants. And somehow, much to his surprise, Bodhi finds himself falling for the larger-than-life rider.
Note: This fic is an Iron Flame retelling from Bodhi & Ridoc’s POV.
Chapter Summary: The quadrant is in chaos, but all Bodhi cares about is making things right with Ridoc.
Excerpt:
Bodhi could picture it now. Ridoc’s brown skin, glistening with sweat. Determination in his eyes as he squared off. Shoulder muscles flexed as he pulled his shirt off over his head. The cocky grin on his face as his head popped out from the bottom. Bodhi paused outside the gym door, looking both ways for any witnesses before adjusting himself in his pants. His stomach flipped in anticipation of seeing Ridoc shirtless.  Eyes closed, Bodhi turned the knob, trying to calm his racing heartbeat, and pushed open the door. His eyes fluttered open—and his stomach sank. The gym was empty save for Imogen and Sloane. The second-years must have finished up early.  Bodhi tried his best to keep the flicker of disappointment off his face as he walked over to the girls.

Book recs masterpost
y’all really came through here, thanks! Here’s a collected version, I will continue to update it if recs keep coming. Format will be a little inconsistent but I will try to keep books by the same author together and give the summary if it exists and who provided the rec.
Under a cut cause it gets long:
Gene Wolfe:
The Fifth Head of Cerberus
Three interconnected novellas about life on an authoritarian twin planet system where humans have apparently wiped out the natives. Superbly well written and thoughtful imo
rec by @femmenietzsche
Book of the New Sun
rec by @napoleonchingon
Octavia Butler:
Dawn, rec by @empresszo, @typicalacademic
Parable of the Sower, rec by @st-just
Kindred, rec by @squareallworthy
Angelica Gorodischer:
Kalpa Imperial
epic fantasy in the style of conan the barbarian, we see the stories of an old empire in some nondescript country, a nondescript amount of millenia ago. small vignettes of different time periods within the country. very light in fantasy, basically an entire book of nothing but lore for a D&D campaign
Trafalgar
comedy sci fi. the life stories of a sales man, a guy who goes door to door selling whatever he can, except IN SPACE. all the stories are framed as him in his little bar in rosario with his friends or drinking mate, telling his latests adventures through space.
La saga de los confines by  Liliana Bodoc
lord of the rings except instead of taking inspiration from nordic folk tales is based on the american conquest. see fantasy races and cultures based on the native american population from south america. lots of poetry, lots of cool classic fantasy with a fresh new flavor
(Already read)
la batalla del calentamiento by marcelo figueras
the fantasy here is very understated to the point of it being magical realism but still my top three favourite book of all time. it starts with a man who suffers gigantism receiving a message from heaven delivered by a wolf speaking in latin. the most colorful and endearing little town with the most wacky of habitants open their arms to the guy who is desperatly in search of redemption
homestuck (by Andrew Hussie)
there is really nothing i can say about this that you havent already heard, so im not even going to bother. just give the first arc (which is about a hundred pages long) a change and see where it goes from there
All of the above suggestions by @fipindustries
Ada Palmer. Terra Ignota series (starts with Too Like the Lightning) (seconded by @youzicha)
(read the first one, have the second one but haven’t read it yet)
Jo Walton, Thessaly series (starts with The Just City)
Yoon Ha Lee, Machinaries of Empire series (starts with Ninefox Gambit) (seconded by @terminallyuninspired)
Ann Leckie:
Imperial Radch series (Starts with Ancillary Justice) (seconded by @youzicha and @squareallworthy)
Raven Tower
N. K. Jemisin:
Broken Earth trilogy (starts with The Fifth Season) (seconded by @typicalacademic)
Dreamblood duology (starts with The Killing Moon)
Seth Dickinson, Masquerade series (starts with The Traitor Baru Cormorant)
(Good rec, already read the first one)
Jeff Vandermeer, Southern Reach series (starts with Annihilation)
Victor LaValle, The Ballad of Black Tom
Tamsyn Muir, Gideon the Ninth
Arkady Martine, A Memory Called Empire
M. R. Carey, The Girl With All The Gifts
All of the above by @st-just
Le guin:
The Dispossessed, rec by @st-just, @youzicha
The Left Hand of Darkness, rec by @youzicha and @typicalacademic
both also seconded by @squareallworthy
(I love Le Guin, read both of these)
Zelazny: Lord of Light, rec by @st-just
Charles Stross:
Missile Gap.
A Colder War.
Peter Watts, Blindsight
Bruce Sterling, Heavy Weather. (I assume. There are multiple books named such)
All of the above by @youzicha
Fonda Lee, Jade City
Richard K. Morgan, Altered Carbon
Shining Path, more thorough rec here.
all by @typicalacademic
Lois McMaster Bujold:
the Vorkosigan Saga
(rec by @omnidistance, seconded by @squareallworthy. Already read all of them, excellent choice)
The Curse of Chalion, rec by @theorem-sorry
Greg Egan:
Permutation City
Orthogonal
above two and “anything else” by him, rec by @saelf
Diaspora, rec by @squareallworthy
The Clockwork Rocket
Physicist discovers relativity in a Riemannian (as opposed to Minkovskian) universe. Also the world is ending.
rec by @jackhkeynes
Chesterton, The Man Who Was Thursday
Dick, The Man in the High Castle
Gaiman, American Gods
Gibson, Count Zero
Heinlein, The Moon is a Harsh Mistress.
Liu, The Three Body Problem
Mitchell, Cloud Atlas
Niffenegger, The Time Traveler’s Wife
Niven and Pournelle, Footfall
North, The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August
Powers, The Anubis Gates
Wilson, Spin.
All of the above by @squareallworthy
Pratchett, Discworld books (going postal, thud!, unseen academicals, or the wee free men recommended by @acertainaccountofevents, Wyrd Sisters rec’d by @squareallworthy)
Neal Stephenson, Cryptonomicon & D.O.D.O.
Ted Chiang, Story of Your Life and anything else by him
To Say Nothing of the Dog by Connie Willis (also suggesting this review)
C.J. Cherryh – The Faded Sun Trilogy.
Honestly not sure there’s anything groundbreaking or unique about it but a solid scifi tale with aliens and politics and it really fleshed out and made me empathize with all the opposing and strikingly different factions.
Taiyao Fujii – Orbital Cloud
A space-related technothriller, quite fun! If you liked the first 2/3rds of Seveneves you’ll probably like this.
Gwynneth Jones – Life.
Story of a woman trying to be the best biologist she can despite a lot of setbacks, bascially. Barely counts as science fiction, really, but I just really like Anna and Spence as characters and their relationship. This a very feminist book, at times quite preachy–but personally it came across as characters being preachy not the author, and therefore much less annoying, but ymmv.
Katherine Addison – The Goblin Emperor.
Fantasy high politics but nice? Like also pretty level headed but not grimdark like fantasy high politics usually is. Also love the worldbuilding, the linguistics, and my precious cinnamon role Maia who deserves good things.
The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet
River of Teeth by Sarah Gailey
the most tumblr print book I have ever read. TBH the cover blurb is better than the book but it’s a quick read and enjoyable.
Paolo Bacigalupi - The Windup Girl.
Ian MacDonald – The Dervish House.
The twenty-minutes-into-the-future setting has aged weirdly since it was written back when Turkey was trying to join the EU, but I reread it recently and the plot and characters are still compelling.
All of the above by @businesstiramisu
"James S. A. Corey", The Expanse series (rec by @justjohn-jj)
Mariam Petrosyan’s The Grey House
kids and minders in a boarding school for the disabled, their relationships and their setting. Mostly a coming-of-age thing but with a lot of weirdness and some fantastic elements. Extremely readable
Arkady and Boris Strugatsky:
Hard to be a God
Inhabited Island
Roadside Picnic
StanisƂaw Lem:
Fiasco
Cyberiad
Karim Berrouka’s FĂ©es, Weed & Guillotines
what it says on the tin. Pretty fun. I would suspect his other fantasy mystery novel comedies are good too.
The Invisible Planets anthology
extremely hit or miss, but definitely has its hits.
Bernard Weber’s Les Fourmis
All of the above by @napoleonchingon
The Murderbot Diaries - Martha Wells
Sarcastic cyborg tries to avoid humans and watch entertainment media all day and perpetually ends up saving some. With all the snark.
rec by @rhetoricandlogic
The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August, Claire North
Guy is born in 1910s, dies at 80 or so
and is born again in the 1910s, and so on. Also the world is ending.
The End and Afterwards, Andy Cooke
A probe to Alpha Centauri, an idealist Nigerian biotechnician, a humdrum English family – and then the world ends.
Against Peace and Freedom, Mark Rosenfelder
50th century interstellar humanity is mostly doing okay. But socionomics doesn’t cover crises, such as the dictatorship that’s taken over Okura, or the unscrupulous tycoon who’s plotting something over on New Bharat. For that we have Diplomatic Agents. Like you.
all of the above by @jackhkeynes
Meta-recommendations:
worldswithoutend.com, their list of lists, and in particular, defining science fiction books of the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s.

Bodoc wedding please!! đŸ™đŸŒđŸ«¶đŸŒ
Because I love this too much, you get two snippets. Set august of Ridoc's second year as a lieutenant <3
Bodhi pov
The door creaked open, and my cousin slipped in, closing the door behind him, carrying two mugs of coffee. “How are you feeling? Nervous? Gods knows I was.” “I'm marrying the love of my life. I've wanted this for years. How could I be nervous?” “I was fucking terrified.” “I'm so fucking scared I'll fuck this up Xay.” I confessed. “He's my whole world, and if I screw this up, I won't survive.” “You won't fuck this up. I see the way you look at him. And just remember everything I hid from Vi when she was baring her soul to me, and look how that turned out. You can do this, I promise.” “How can you be so sure?” He offered me one of the mugs and I took it gratefully. “Because I see the love between the two of you, everyone can. You two are the definition of true love. You're my little brother so I wouldn't be happy with you marrying just anyone but him, there's truly something special there. He's the person for you.” “Do you know how much that means to me? That you approve?” “Of course I approve, Bodhi. He's the love of your life. You said it yourself.” “Anyway, why are you up so early? It's five in the morning.” “Vi kicked me out. She said she needed to prepare the room for getting ready. I'm not sure why, seeing as your room doesn't need to be prepared.” “I don't know either. She's your wife, though, so if anyone knows, it would be you.” “All people are wearing is the same dress uniform we all wear. It's what we wore for my wedding and what we'll wear for Garrick and Imogen’s wedding.” “I know. But don't mention that last part to Garrick or Imogen. I don't need you to have a black eye or broken nose or bruised jaw at the wedding.” “Fine but you'll agree it's true.” “Of course, it's true. Everyone can see it.” “I'm glad you're here.
Ridoc pov
“Vi's a Duchess, so we should probably all start referring to her and Xaden as that, and I'm nothing yet.” “You're not nothing.” “I'm not married yet. But afterwards, just refer to me as Lord Ridoc.” “You wouldn't be that, but I won't tell you anymore because I don't think Xaden wants Bodhi to know yet.” “Go on, you have to tell me. I'm your cousin in law in law.” “Nope, you'll find out when you're back from your honeymoon.” “So it's just boring political stuff then. Boo.” “Aww, don't be mean to the Duchess. She'll set the Duke on you.” Rhi teased. “Don't call us that unless you want Xaden to actually kill you. Or at least cause grievous bodily harm.” “Doesn't apply to me.” I laughed, “He loves Bodhi too much to fuck me up before the wedding and afterwards we'll be off so by the time we come back he”ll have forgotten.” “Unfortunately, well fortunately for the groom over there, he is right. The wedding makes him family and we don't cause lasting damage to family.” “But you do cause damage?” “Have you not seen Riorson v Tavis? Or Bodhi v either of them or Cardulo? The damage is only short term or mendable.” I said, laughing

Thanks so much for sending these!! ♄
8. Paperback or hardcover? Why?
It depends on the book, really. Technically the choice, when making the book, has to do with various things, like paper weight, dimensions, audience, type of paper and density, etc. I think I like hardcover more aesthetically but some books are more comfortable to read and carry as paperbacks.
29: How do you sort your shelves? (i.e. by color, author, title etc.)
I’m in the process of getting new shelves made so a good portion of my books are in tables atm. Normally, I group by theme, book series and author. Meaning, I have, for example, my fantasy section, my picture book section, my vampire section and so on, and then in each bit I have series grouped together and books of the same author as well, but sometimes things get messy when the authors do several different themes (like Philip Pullman).
34: List five OTPs
Oh boy. I’m gonna have to look through my goodreads shelves because I don’t have most of my books with me here to remember, I’m gonna do my best to list 5 from all throughout my life. Will and Lyra from His Dark Materials (also Balthamos and Baruch from there, if 2 count for one series), the ineffable husbands Crowley and Aziraphale from Good Omens, Fitzwilliam “agoraphobic lobster” Darcy and Elizabeth “sass queen” Bennet, Prince “this is too much all the time” Alek and Deryn “gender? I don’t know her” Sharpe from Leviathan and I’m not gonna deny E/R from Les Mis because I won’t renounce my feelings, no matter how much fanon has messed that up for me with time.
35: Name a book you consider to be terribly underrated
I’d say probably La Saga de los Confines by Liliana Bodoc deserves a lot more international attention than it has. Fantasy is a genre that tends to be very English-centric and Euro-centric as a whole, I think Liliana did such an amazing job creating a lore rooted in Latin American heritage and I’d love for it to be appreciated elsewhere too. One of my lifelong regrets will always be not being able to take a workshop with her, I always had some problem or no money or was too late and thought I’d have more time, but she passed away unexpectedly and super young and I never could meet her :(
44: Do you like to listen to music when you read?
Sometimes, it depends on what I’m reading. I feel some books can use music, some you have to read aloud, some require silence. It depends on the book.
46: What is your favorite thing to drink when you read?
Something warm like cocoa or café con leche.
47: What do you do to get out of a reading slump?
Normally this happens to me when I’m not feeling what I’m reading or I’m reading something very dense, so what I do is switch books for a while, to something either shorter or more fast-paced. It can lead to having a lot of unfinished books too though, it’s a double edge sword.
