If, at 18, you had been told that you would be marrying the Formula One driver you were obsessed with, you would have laughed. But here you are at 25. Surrounded by your friends and family, as you get prepared for your wedding. Carmen, your maid of honour, was currently in the makeup chair, whereas your mother was in the hair chair. One of the photographers was capturing moments between some of the bridesmaids. And one of the videographers was interviewing one of the bridesmaids for the wedding video. You were sat in a comfortable armchair watching it all happen around you. You weren't nervous to marry Max, you were however nervous about everything going right. And as if she could sense your anxiety, one of your bridesmaids, Alexandra, came over to sit in the chair next to you. She already had her hair done, and was next in queue for makeup.

"feeling anxious?" she asks, taking a sip from the prosecco glass she had been holding in her hands.

"I'm not nervous to marry Max, it's something I've been waiting for this day since he proposed. I just want everything to go right. And I'm really hoping that Max doesn't have some Red Bull uniform on underneath his tux" you giggle, taking a small sip of your water.

"If Carmen has anything to do with it, everything will go perfectly. I think even the wedding planner is scared of her" Alex responds, the pair of you glance towards the planner who is hurriedly writing something on the checkboard she was holding whilst repeatedly looking up anxiously at Carmen. Both of you look back at each other, before bursting into laughter. Silence falls comfortably between the two of you as you sit and absorb the atmosphere. And before you knew it, you were in the hair chair, whilst Alex was in the makeup chair.

the moment you began walking down the aisle to Max, you were overwhelmed with the feeling of love that radiated not just from him but all your guests. Your parents were walking you down the aisle, and Max was standing nearly in tears at the end of it, his best man, Lando, stood just behind him smiling and his groomsmen were behind him, their smiles almost as big as the grooms. Your bridesmaids were waiting for you, each and every one looking stunning in their dresses as a light breeze passed through their hair. Your maid of honour, Carmen, was standing nearest to where you would be stood, the proudest smile on her face. As the music began to play, everyone let out a soft laugh. Max had believed you were coming down the aisle to one of Charles's piano songs, however, you had worked with him to have the F1 theme tune played on the piano to make Max feel happier. You smiled at Max, before placing a hand in the elbow of each of your parents as you made your way almost too slowly down the aisle. You wanted to run, to get down there and marry the man as quick as possible, but you remained in your parent's embrace until the end, when both parents kissed your cheek before taking a seat.

Handing your bouquet to Carmen, you turned and grinned at Max. And the tears in his eyes, made you tear up too.

"you look beautiful schat" he whispered, loud enough for you to hear.

"And you look so handsome, Max" you responded.

"I can't wait to show you what I've got on underneath" You smirked at the teary-eyed man forgetting that you both had mics attached to you. Max's eyes widened before squeezing your hands, trying to stop the flush from his cheeks being too obvious to the crowd.

"you'll always be the number one to me" you spoke, leaning up for another kiss before the wedding planner or someone else would pop up to take you away to somewhere else.

As you and Max sit at the sweetheart's table, you're able to overwatch everyone. Everything had gone perfectly, the cake cutting, the entrances, even the speeches. And it was nearly time for your first dance with your husband. What everyone didn't know, not even the maid of honour or best man, was that you both had been going to dance classes to make this perfect. The pair of you sat there, content, holding one another hands as you absorbed everything in.

"I'm surprised you haven't had a Red Bull yet" you teased.

"Who said I haven't?" he joked back. He opened his mouth to say something else before he was cut off by the announcer.

"I would like to welcome Mr and Mrs Verstappen to the dance floor for their first dance. The music will be played live by Charles Leclerc and it is a song written especially for this moment" The man spoke loudly despite the microphone in his hand. You turned your head quickly to look at Max, as this wasn't the song that you had prepared. "don't worry schat, I made sure whatever song we practised to was the same tempo, it's going to be as perfect as you" he spoke calmly before standing up and offering you his hand. You graciously took his hand, smiling at him as he led you to the dancefloor. Once the pair of you stood in the middle, the piano began to play, filling the room with its soft notes.

This was perfect.

Día 8: Variante de Outfit

Este es Mars, un personaje con el que estuve roleando de finales de Noviembre de 2023 a Enero de 2024 en una serie llamada Caedra Academy. Ahí desarrollé su historia, y fue una de las experiencias que más he disfrutado.

Para Caedra, tuve ±20 skins distintas para Mars, así que tenía muy claro que tenía que ser él el que dibujase para el día 8.

Escogí mis outfits favoritos.

Su pijama.

Su jersey rosado, que usó durante los primeros días de la última semana. En este dibujo, está cargando a su gatito, Oreo.

El traje de su boda, en el que el color rosa le representa a él y el amarillo a Luck, su pareja.

Su uniforme escolar, junto con la bandita del brazo de Leviathan, que era su clase.

El traje de Maid que llevó durante el día blanco, ya que su clase organizó un Maid Café.

Y por último, la chaqueta de cosplay que Luck le prestó, y como accesorio el girasol que le regaló poco después. La ropa que más valor sentimental tiene para Mars.

Dibujar a Mars siempre me hace sonreir un poco, es un personaje cuya historia me conmovió hasta a mi, ya que en un momento del roleplay casi pareció que él controlaba su propia historia, y su final no fue el que yo esperaba.

Empezó como un niño enfermo, que no valoraba la vida y sólo quería tener algo de libertad antes de morir, porque creía que no le quedaba mucho para eso, y acabó siendo un guerrero valiente que dio todo para vivir junto con las personas que ama. 🩷📚

Have you taken any classes that you felt were really helpful as a esthetician? I just finished the face reality class (10/10) but it’s soo hard finding courses that actually teach 😭💕

I took Control Correctives TCA and Jessner peel class as well as their dermaplane class, they’re really informative and quick training courses to get you certified and started! there’s other brands that offer the same courses but for some reason want to charge hundreds of dollars for training lol. I already knew how to perform those services so I chose that company to certify in. I also recommend Glymed Plus GAAIN program, they teach a lot about their product and treatments for specific skin conditions. Glownar Hydrafacial offers training for their machines too if you purchase with them (10/10 recommended). It is hard to let it go especially, when it is the only hope in that time. But sometimes it's better to let it go maybe your destiny is about to be fulfilled. They called him Rude boy; this is well known name in the street he was living that time somewhere in Africa. His real name is Rudolph, after his secondary education his journey in education was over. his grade was too low to continue to high school education, unless he was able to afford middle colleges. His parents were unable to afford.

The day result came out Rudolph was chilling at spot waiting his passenger for his boda-boda. After finishing his secondary education, he was given motorcycle for boda-boda by one of the bosses in town. so, when he was at his spot his girlfriend came and having conversation.

Rude: Hey!! Abi (after seeing her approach at his spot)

Abi: Abee mchumba!!

Rude: came over (he gives her hug when she arrives).

Abi: how is your day.

Rude: as you see sunny and hot day. (Says with disappointment)

Abi: hot day huh (touch Rude's cheek).

Rude: yeah, but your hotter (touching her waist)

Abigail was his girlfriend since he started secondary, so they were all in same class. Abigail was beautifully girl dark skin, good body shape impressive height, sometime Rude asking himself how he still with her. When an enormous stone building became visible in the distance, she paused on the path---listening. Her nose twitched as she scented the area, and for a brief minute she looked back over her shoulder, contemplating whether or not she should run. "You're sure your friends won't mind?" She didn't speak from her lips, but pressed her words into the air around them, whispering from all sides in the darkness. As promised, THE SCENE:

“You look like you're having a good time,” said a voice behind him, at about his navel. Ardus flinched, nearly dropping a glass. “Nina!” He set the glass down in case it slipped again. “You surprised me.” Turning he found her reaching for the glass of water.

“Really? I thought Dreen hearing was better than human hearing.”

“Er...I was lost in thought.”

“Must have been a nice one, you were all blue and purple. Looks like the party is over,” she said, pulling over a chair and climbing it. Her little body moved sinuously and Ardus watched her bring her knee up into the seat before standing in the chair and sitting on the counter by the sink.

“You should not sit there,” he cautioned, “you might get wet.”

“Wouldn't be the first time,” Nina gave him a cryptic smile. Ardus opened his mouth – what he was going to say he had no idea – and Athe poked his head in.

“We're going to call it a night – Boda and I are taking Meem back to our place. We've collected all the dishes, I'll be over tomorrow to clean up – say, late afternoon?” He gave Ardus a look, his hairless eyebrows raising high. He grinned, turning his attention to Nina. “Don't keep him up too late, Doctor Nina. He needs his rest, you know, because he's old.” Ardus picked up a piece of fruit and lobbed it at him. Athe ducked away and Nina giggled. “Good night, Apa!” Athe called from beyond the kitchen, and Ardus listened to the sounds of snickering and whispers as the last of his guests trickled out the door. Nina shot him a look, giggling, and Ardus rolled his eyes. Ah, youth.

At last, they were alone. Nina sat on the counter, her bare feet – Ardus noticed that she now wore his barbel ring on one of her toes – dangling in space, her impossibly small dress stretched tight over her hips, her skin sparkling. Ardus finished rinsing cups and plates and stacked them on the rack to dry, wiping down the counter with a dry towel and pouring himself another glass of water. He picked a clear spot beside her and leaned casually on the cool marble surface, looking over his kitchen and assessing the damage. There wasn't anything left that couldn't wait until tomorrow. Today, really. He looked over at Nina and found her swirling her glass, one knee crossed over the other and her upper body braced on one arm. She flicked her eyes at him, sipping. “Nice party.”

“You enjoyed it?”

“I did. Thanks for the drinks, and the food, and for inviting me.”

“I could not conceive of not inviting you,” Ardus shifted, propping his elbow on the counter-top barely a finger's breadth from her hip. “After all, you have talked sense into me twice now.”

Nina grinned. “Someone had to.”

Ardus turned his glass in his hand, inspecting the play of light on the water. “I am pleased that you came.”

“It's not every day a Dreen lights up, am I wrong?”

“No,” Ardus grinned, “not at all. Nia is fascinated, Athe is thrilled, and I am relieved.”

“I'm glad to hear that.” She set her glass down and used her free hand to brush her hair back over her shoulder, a sweeping gesture that resembled drawing aside a necklace. Her arms, shoulders, legs and chest glittered. Ardus cocked his head. “What is all this,” he gestured with his glass, waggling it up and down, “cosmetics?”

Nina paused in her primping long enough to look down at herself. “Oh, this? Yes it is. Do you like it?” She waggled her shoulders – and consequently her entire body – and admired the shimmering effect on her rich bronze skin.

“Very much. I meant what I said earlier, you look...” Passing his eyes over her again, he nodded. “Stunning. Almost like a Dreen.”

“Then it's doing its job.” She tossed back the rest of her glass and refilled it in the sink, turning away from him to do so. Ardus stared hungrily at her bare back, savoring the way her skin reflected the soft yellow lights from his kitchen in a golden glow. Hormone stabilizer or no, his lower belly burned and his hands itched to touch her skin again. She turned back and shook her hair out behind her, leaning back on both arms. “You look great too.”

Taken aback, Ardus played with his glass. “Do I?”

“Definitely. I've never seen you in anything other than dark blue or black. Not that it doesn't look good on you, but this is a nice change of pace. The clothes, your pores, you're even smiling. All those hormones must have done you some good, you look thirty years younger.”

“Surely not, I looked much better thirty years ago.”

“Thirty years ago I was learning how to walk.” She laughed when he winced. “Sorry, I couldn't resist. But it's a fact, you know.”

Ardus shrugged. He watched her brush at some imaginary lint on her dress. “Where did you find this?” he lifted a finger from his glass to point at the shimmering black fabric that clung to her body as though it was showing him how the job was done.

Nina rearranged her legs, recrossing her knees and settling back. “Brought it from Earth. It's kind of a tradition, 'every woman needs a little black dress'. You like it?” A wicked look flashed in her stormy eyes, and she tugged on the portion of fabric wrapping around her thigh. The hem slid up just the width of one of her tiny fingers, and Ardus noted with an internal jolt that she had not only dusted her visible skin with golden powder, she must have dusted every inch of her curvy little body, even the parts he couldn't see. He didn't trust himself to speak, so he nodded instead. “What's wrong, blueback got your tongue?” Another inch of velvety, shimmering bronze skin, and Ardus took a hasty drink of water to un-stick his tongue. Nina continued, “I probably could've done without the glitter, though. I'm getting it everywhere, sorry.” She didn't look sorry.

“You can leave as much glitter in my home as you like,” Ardus mumbled into his glass.

“You sure about that? It'll probably take a week to get it off of everything I've touched, and even then you'll be finding it for months. You'll probably even find it on you.”

“It would not make any difference.” He pulled aside his vest – a bold move – and showed her his Collar of Aku speckled with blue and green pinpoints like stars. With his coloring he looked like the night sky.

“You might not feel that way tomorrow.”

“Why is that?”

Nina tossed her hair and a breath of her sweet scent reached his nose. “Because once you wake up and start cleaning, you'll find it on the dishes and on the furniture, in the floor mat, in your bathroom... I'm not kidding, you'll never be rid of me – I mean, it.”

“Is that so...” Ardus looked her over again, a warm, comfortable longing settled deep in his belly. I would give my arms and legs to never be rid of you.

“You know, I never pegged you as the type to throw parties.” Drinking deeply of her water Nina looked at him over the rim of her glass, her thick eyelashes framing sea-storm eyes. “Not the stoic, dour old biologist.” She grinned, those little tucks in her cheeks deepening.

Ardus turned, facing the counter and leaning on both elbows. “Dour? Come now, I can understand old and stoic, but dour? Really, Nina, is this how you treat your elders on Earth? With disrespect and impertinence?” To be fair, he was enjoying it immensely. It was another one of her word traps, but this time Ardus was going to let her win. Let us see what she makes me say next.

“Come on, Ardus, don't try to play the old man card. It won't work on me.”

“What does work, then?” Ardus took a long drink of water, never taking his eyes off of her. Her skin, her hair, her eyes, her dress... It was all working splendidly.

Neo Thenine Art on Instagram is an AMAZING artist, I love what she does and I've been watching her work for a minute. She's SO easy to work with, asking good questions about details and she's awesome at sharing progress pics so she can make adjustments along the way! What got my attention with her original works are her bold colors, the way she adds pops of light and her creativity with background details. I especially like the African and Latino influences with her personal pieces, a big reason why I picked her. I told her to go nuts with the kitchen setting for this scene, and she delivered! I emphasized how I wanted to see HER vision as opposed to dictating every little thing, so when I sent a short piece from STARFISH I was open to whatever she came up with - and I am DELIGHTED with the results!! I had a hard time getting to sleep last night because I was so overjoyed to recipe the final piece!!
