#Bobo tends to nap a lot

I’m really happy to see someone made peeps based off of Si and Am from Lady and the Tramp! The twins people probably find more approachable than the Octavinelle pair until they find their wallets missing.

I've got some more Bobo questions, if you don't mind!

1: Would she drink coffee or energy drinks?

2: Would she fall asleep in the company of someone she doesn't know very well?

3: Does she eat mushrooms or just grow them?

4: How would she react to something super sour/ spicy?

5: Does she enjoy tea?

6: What are her opinions on quiet music? Like lofi or soft violins or that sort of thing?

And 7: How well does she understand figures of speech?

I do enjoy questions about my ocs as sometimes I get stuff I haven't necessarily thought of before. Like number 4.

1: Bobo wouldn't drink either. She avoids anything that could give her "artificial" energy such as a high dosage of caffeine. She prefers feeling in control of herself at all times. This would also mean that upon reaching the drinking age, she wouldn't have alcohol either.

I'm not sure artificial is the right word. Just stuff that may make her jittery or have a hard time staying still or even affect her ability to sleep such as having too much caffeine. I think some teas might have a lot of caffeine? Small amounts of caffeine can actually help with headaches, I think.

2: If it's someone she doesn't quite know but doesn't think they're a threat, she might nap around them. Usually Bobo finds most people as not a threat, used to danger usually coming from beasts. She does have the uncanny ability to wake up when needed to. If it's someone she despises and doesn't trust at all, then she won't let herself nap.

Though with her being in Twisted Wonderland, the first few books she won't nap around anyone she doesn't quite know unless she has a friend nearby.

3: Mushrooms are practically in every dish in the Mycelind Kingdom and growing them is a common practice too for several different reasons. Bobo does know how to grow mushrooms and upon being in Twisted Wonderland, eating mushrooms is a bit of a comfort to her.

She actually sets aside a room in Ramshackle to grow mushrooms with Jade along with being his taste tester. Though Bobo always checks what mushrooms Jade uses first. She knows which mushrooms are safe to eat and in what ways they're safe. She also wont let Jade grow any dangerous shrooms at Ramshackle.

4: I think Bobo would prefer super sour over super spicy. I don't think she'd necessarily seek out either, but if it's a dish served to her, she'd prefer the sour one. Being from a kingdom that's constantly hot, it's best to avoid anything that could make her excessively sweat. She slightly favors sour, but I think it might just be that she wants something super sour every now and then. As for spicy, she will avoid. Might freak out if it's super spicy as her mind is going to jump to the possibility of dehydrating.

A quick google search does tell me that there are real world mushrooms that are considered spicy. Quick search suggests that there are real world mushrooms that are sour as well. Add in the mushrooms I plan to make up for the kingdom, Mycelind Kingdom probably covers a good range of flavors. They do also have access to meat and dairy, though Bobo isn't the biggest fan of meat. Considering the beasts she slays are usually turned into food for the kingdom, she prefers not to have meat.

5: I'd say she's indifferent to it. Though probably has a preference to caffeine-free iced teas. She's used to having tea as that's a common beverage that her sister kingdom would give her upon visits. Bobo isn't really the type to ask for a different drink or food, as she's usually content with whatever's given to her.

Though in Twisted Wonderland I do think she might start to seek out having tea as Sage's Island probably feels cold compared to her kingdom. I think she likes the fruity teas the most. Anything with rich flavor that may be unique to her, for anything meal/drink related would be what she gravitates towards.

6: I'd say ballroom dancing music tends to bore her. She prefers music with some energy to it. If it's something soft like lo-fi that's playing in the background, she probably be fine with it. Unless it's supposed to be a gathering of people, then she's going to feel like she's stuck at another boring ball.

Actually if it's soft music in the background while she's having a one-on-one conversation with someone, if the conversation stops the music might just lull her into a nap. So I'd say she won't throw a fit over it, but it can aggravate her sleepiness and sometimes boredom.

7: That's somewhat tricky to answer. I'd say it all depends on if that's a saying that exists in the Mycelind Kingdom or not. I am trying to compile a list of Mycelind Kingdom versions of idioms. The possible problem I see with that is if any websites I look at don't list a common idiom that I fail to think of.

For example in Mycelind instead of saying "To hell with it" they say "To the rot with it". I'm heavily leaning towards there being little to no religion in the kingdom, so they've never heard of things as Angels, Heaven, Demons, and what not. (Though I suppose that might just mean no christian religions. One of these days I'll figure out how to learn about other religions without having to worry about how accurate the info is.)

Keep in mind that the Mycelind Kingdom is an underground kingdom with lots of mushrooms and little to no knowledge of the surface world. Their sister kingdom has basically kept the underground kingdom isolated from the rest of the world.

Rip Jaxon feeling he deserves nightmares. Bobo tends to get nightmares after dealing with overblots, but the only ones that know about that are the ramshackle ghosts. She hides her emotional outbursts for when she's in private since she believes it would make people view her as weak. So now being in Twisted Wonderland where she constantly feels weak with being magicless-

Bobo has a poor sleep schedule and tries to make up for her lack of sleep by napping. Upon befriending Leona, she does just sit down near him and nap when he's napping. I'm sure Vil would be outraged at how little sleep Bobo gets, but she's unwilling to fix it since when/if she gets back home, she's just going to go back to not being able to sleep enough. I want to say she gets four hours of sleep each night, but I should actually try to figure out her schedule to see if that's even reasonable to say. I may have given her a bit of comedical amount of strength, but I did try to put a vague sense of realism into it. So I should at least match that for her sleep schedule haha.

Dang it I want Bobo to be so responsible but I can't help but imagine if Jaxon passed out one day from exhaustion that she would think he's napping. She'd correct his posture if needed then just nap beside him. Feel so guilty if he told her he passed out and was not taking a nap. She barely has any idea how to help with nightmares except maybe sleep with stuffed toys. That was the only way she could sleep when she was 8.

Heck now I'm wondering if Jaxon would be willing to try sleeping with a stuffed animal or if he would feel that's too childish. For Bobo she sleeps better with another's presence nearby but hasn't really needed to try stuffed animals since she has Grim and again the nightmares only really come about after overblots.

I am rambling. All I know is that I wanna know more about Jaxon but I also like talking about my ocs and I originally came in here to ask if I may draw Jaxon. Sitting outside in the sun for a while seems to have made me sleepy or can't really think straight my mind be rambling

Jaxon's never told anyone about his nightmares, and keeps it all mainly to himself. He generally tries to pass out in areas where no one is around and no one will find him.

But if Bobo does find him, he'll probably wake up. He's a pretty light sleeper so small noises can wake him.

I don't see him wanting to sleep with a stuffed animal. You guessed right that he'd think it's a bit too childish for him. He's not able to fall asleep around people (correction: he won't fall asleep around them) unless he really trusts them.

I'm very happy that you like him so much! I'm currently writing a lot for him and working on writing more of his backstory for everyone. I like hearing about your OC too! And of course you can draw him! I'm very happy that you even want to draw him!

Alrighty, I'm that shy and socially awkward person back at it again with some (random) questions for Fates: 1) WHEN WILL WYNONNA SHOW UP? 2) THIS SLOW BURN IS KILLING ME. WHY YOU DO THIS US? Okay, serious questions now: 1) What's your writing process? What kind of research (if any) did you do to prepare for this fic? 2) Will we get more Nicole backstory? She's such a tortured soul. 3) What inspired you to write this fic? (Okay, crawling back into my cave now.)

hahah okay. For the random questions:

1) Wynonna is, unfortunately, a ways away, but we’re getting closer. She is post-Resistance camp material. I feel like the wait for Wynonna is just as bad as the slowburn lmao

2) I guess just to explain myself with the slowburn: Where the two of them started off in this fic is completely different from where they started off in the show. They’re on opposite sides of sorts (thanks to Bobo’s manipulation) and then, after Nicole finds out about Waverly’s vision from Simon, it sets them back a few steps. 

Even if Nicole has forgiven Waverly for what happened, that doesn’t mean she’d feel comfortable acknowledging having feelings for her just yet. Meanwhile, Waverly is in a different boat completely, having feelings for Nicole but not knowing what they are after a lifetime of people keeping their distance and not really being able to connect with anyone. She’ll figure it out though lol

Basically, as often as I joke about the slowburn killing me,I did it because I wanted it to take into account the circumstances behind their meeting in this fic :) 

More serious questions:

1) My writing process is a Mess. There are days where I can write pages upon pages of stuff and feel super proud of myself. Then there are times when I can only manage to work through maybe half a page at a time because I’ve been stuck on a stumbling block. Not to mention the days where I kinda just……… do something else (ask @iamthegaysmurf about my napping problem lmao). I tend to write chronologically because I don’t like skipping around, but if I’m really stuck in a spot, I’ll leave a placeholder and move on… and hopefully remember I left the placeholder there before posting.

As for research, I ask AJ a lot of stuff (That exploding magnesium bit was all because of her) and also try to look up stuff on my own (that usually just ends up with me asking AJ about it lmao). I researched different types of wound treatment and their dangers (such as cauterization and the risk of infection), different types of plants used for wound treatment, how to build/start fires, how to keep warm in the winter. Basically a lot of survivalist videos and articles lmao I also researched how to make pendants and stuff, even if a lot of what I found didn’t end up in that section with Mattie. Other stuff to research would be fighting styles, since we’re getting closer to sections that will revolve around that. 

2) We will get more Nicole backstory! It comes in bits and pieces, I know, but there’s more of it that will come, especially once we get into the resistance sections and see more of her around people she knows. She’s been through some stuff, so I think that’s part of the reason why she only gives out little bits of her past at a time. 

3) Haha um…. My inspiration for this fic was a random dream I had, and not even the whole dream, but a snippet of it. And it wasn’t even about wayhaught! lmao
