Young Paralegal Explodes in the Men’s Room
When I was in college, I interned at a law firm in downtown Boston. Everyday, older laywers would come in with their newspapers and blast away for 30 mins in the three stall men’s room. They were completely shameless. It did not matter who was in the room with them, they would let everything out.
There was however, one young paralegal in his late 20s, named Shawn would was completely ashamed of unburdening himself each day of his pent up load. He would purposely wait for everyone to leave the bathroom before he would let loose. He was a gorgeous surfer type with a chiseled jawline and bulging biceps. Everyday I would sit in there and hope one day he would come in and I would get a show.
My chance finally came one friday morning. On fridays, the office was only partially staffed and it was mainly female secretaries. At about 8:45, I saw Shawn come in, looking very hungover from the nigt before. I watched him sit at his desk and drink his morning coffee. At 10am, his need for the toilet finally came. He quickly glt up and made his way towards the bathroom. I got up and followed him in. When i walked in, he was already latching his stall door shut. He spun around and dropped his pants, his belt clanging onto the floor and mounted the seat.
For the next 15 mins, we sat there in complete silence. Finally, a rapid series of farts escaped Shawn’s ass and he sighed. He couldn’t hold it any longer. A torrent of liquid and gas rushed from his body. After a few minutes, it died down and he quickly wiped up and raced out of the men’s room.
I remained in my stall basking in the experience, when suddenly the door flung open and Shawn entered again. This time he did not have the option to try to wait me out. He barely got seated when I heard an explosion come from Shawn’s ass as he once again suffered a liquid blowout. We bth started wiping at the same time and emerged at the sinks together. Shawn wouldn’t look my way and sheepishly washed his hands and left.
This was the first, but not last time I caught Shawn unloading in the men’s room.

Sooner or later, Victor Oladipo’s going to need some superstar help
Oladipo is a franchise player, but to maximize his prime, the Pacers can’t wait too long to pursue a star running mate.
Victor Oladipo is very good. He’s one of the five best shooting guards in the NBA, and he’s not No. 5.
But after another loss to an Eastern Conference playoff team, this time a blowout to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night, one thing has become more and more apparent.
Oladipo needs a co-star, and he needs one soon.
Oladipo is an amazing basketball player, better than anyone expected he’d be after he was traded from Oklahoma City for Paul George. But Paul Pierce said it best during ESPN’s halftime report: He might be the loneliest star in the NBA, and that’s not a good thing.
“[Oladipo’s] the loneliest superstar in the Eastern Conference, and maybe in the league. And what I mean by that is he has no other guys on that team that will probably make All-Star or even maybe have the potential to be an All-Star. So just what you see what he’s doing tonight, if he doesn’t do this each and every night, this team will lose a lot of games if he’s not consistent.
“And he’s shown to be consistent last year, able to put up big numbers, and that’s why you’ve got to love him. If they keep winning at this pace, you’ve gotta start talking about him in the MVP conversation.”
The Pacers can be good, maybe even very good. They should by no means whatsoever blow anything up. This is a team that took LeBron James’ Cavaliers to Game 7 in the first round of last year’s playoffs, then improved their depth by signing Tyreke Evans, Doug McDermott and Kyle O’Quinn.
But Indiana won’t be great until they get Oladipo some star-level help. Their second-best player should be Myles Turner, who signed a four-year, $80 million contract extension this summer. But while he’s averaging 2.5 blocks per game, Turner’s regressed in other areas, including a career-worst 14.3-percent start from downtown.
Instead, Indiana’s second man has been Domantas Sabonis — who was dealt along with Oladipo in the Paul George trade — and he comes off the bench. Oladipo and Sabonis make a solid tandem, but the Indy’s guard needs a legitimate co-star; someone who can pick up the slack when he goes cold.
The Pacers have options, and there’s no rush. Oladipo’s under contract another two years after this one. He was a star at Indiana in college, he’s happy in the market, and he’s the superstar the Pacers have needed for some time. There’s no immediate pressure on Pacers GM Kevin Pritchard, because Indiana has a flexible roster and the potential for cap space this summer. They’ll be a playoff team this year, and could make a second-round appearance.
But patience turns into a lack of urgency quickly in this league. The longer Indiana waits, the more it risks a repeat of the George situation, which ended slowly and in ugly fashion as George grew increasingly frustrated by moves on the margins. As Whitney Medworth wrote in 2017:
Since he recovered in sparkling fashion from an awful leg injury in the summer of 2014, the Pacers have spent the past three years trying to surround George with talent. But while trying to develop an identity, they’ve continuously failed, putting groups of mismatched players with mismatched styles around George.
That’s why the Pacers must do themselves a favor by maximizing Oladipo window. Twenty-six years old becomes 33 in the blink of an eye. Fresh starts can become mismatched parts and styles before you know it.
If Pritchard were interested in finding his Batman a Robin, he could do so without too much pressure on the team’s future cap flexibility.
He could inquire about Kemba Walker
Walker has been one of the more under-appreciated stars of this decade, solely because his Hornets teams have not made a playoff dent year after year. That hasn’t been his fault, because management just hasn’t put the right pieces around him.
Walker has also been underpaid, now in the final year of a meager (by NBA standards) four-year, $48 million deal. He’s in line to sign a five-year, $189 million maximum contract in Charlotte, but given his age and the team’s direction, there’s a great deal of uncertainty as to whether the Hornets will give it to him.
Should Charlotte want to move on, a trade that includes Cory Joseph, Tyreke Evans and two future lottery-protected first-round draft picks could be enough to pry Walker from Charlotte, especially if the Pacers can rope in a third team like Sacramento to take on one of the Hornets’ unfavorable contracts.
It should be noted teams cannot trade newly signed free agents until Dec. 15, which means Indiana can’t involve Evans, McDermott or O’Quinn in any trades for a little over a month, even if they wanted.
He could reach out about Jimmy Butler
Butler wants two things: teammates who work hard and respect the game, and winners. He can get both in Indiana. Oladipo and Butler would be a two-man tandem that gives opponents nightmares. It would take some elite wings with some elite play-calling to get a bucket on those two guys.
And with Butler pushing the right buttons to get the most out of his teammates, there’s no telling how far those two could go together.
The problem is Tom Thibodeau reportedly wants the kitchen sink, the bathroom, the master bedroom, and the 55-inch 4K HD TV in a Butler trade, and the Timberwolves want to shed Gorgui Dieng’s remaining three years worth $48 million.
Butler could also choose to leave Indiana instead of re-signing long-term. His preferred destinations were New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and potentially his home town of Houston. Indiana isn’t on that last. Do the Pacers give up meaningful contributors on one-year deals and take on an unfavorable contract for an All-Star who could leave at the end of the year?
Probably not. But the thought of Butler and Oladipo on the same team is incredible.
What about John Wall?
The Pacers like to run, and Wall is as fast as they come. Things in Washington are not working out. How would Oladipo and Wall fare as a back court in Nate McMillan’s up-tempo offense?
There’s always a but, though, and Wall’s situation is no different. Last summer, Wall signed a supermax contract extension worth $169.3 million that doesn’t even kick in until next season. Wall hasn’t been the leader the Wizards have needed him to be. Would his nonchalant demeanor follow him to Indiana, or is a change of scenery enough to light a flame under the All-Star point guard?
The other thing: Because Wall has already signed his extension, trading for him virtually eliminates all cap space the Pacers would have to sign free agents next summer. That’s a big chunk of change to commit to a player who just hasn’t been able to take the next step into superstardom, for one reason or another.
Indiana could also just wait
The Pacers signed both Evans and O’Quinn this summer each to one-year deals. Thaddeus Young, Darren Collison, Cory Joseph, and Bojan Bogdanovic each become free agents next summer, too.
With Oladipo, Turner, Sabonis, Doug McDermott, T.J. Leaf, and Aaron Holiday as the only guaranteed contracts on the roster next summer, Indiana projects to have around $40 million in cap space to sign free agents.
Barring mid-season contract extensions, Walker and Butler could each be available in free agency. So will guys like Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, Kawhi Leonard, Kyrie Irving, DeMarcus Cousins, and Khris Middleton. The options are endless, so long as Indiana preserves its cap space.
The Pacers should not burn it down — not even close. They’re a talented team that will make noise in the playoffs. It’s just becoming clear that this Indiana team needs to get its lone superstar some superstar help to get to the next level. There’s no rush, because he’s not going anywhere any time soon.
But if the Pacers wait too long, they risk repeating the sad end of the George era.

LeBron James’ post-Game 1 comments should scare Celtics
The Cleveland Cavaliers cruised to a blowout win in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, and LeBron James wasn’t all that impressed with his team’s performance. Be afraid, Boston Celtics — be very, very afraid.
Following Cleveland’s 117-104 victory on the road, LeBron wasn’t exactly handing out compliments to his teammates. In fact, he seemed a little disappointed.
Cavaliers' LeBron James after Game 1 blowout road win over Celtics: "I don't even think we played that great tonight." http://pic.twitter.com/BxZpMZY2Yg
— Ben Golliver (@BenGolliver) May 18, 2017
“I don’t even think we played that great tonight. We definitely didn’t shoot the ball as well as we’re capable of shooting,” James said. “Kyle (Korver) had three or four very, very good looks that he missed when we had a good stretch. But I think the energy and the effort and the mindset was where it needed to be starting on the road, especially in the Eastern Conference Finals.”
Korver was just 1-of-6 shooting 3-pointers, so he did have a rough night. The Cavs as a team, however, were pretty efficient. They shot 48.1 percent from the field and 35.5 percent from 3-point range. They shot 47 percent from the field during the regular season (the Golden State Warriors led the NBA at 49.5 percent) and 38.4 percent from downtown. LeBron scored 38 points on 14-of-24 shooting, but he, too, was just 1-of-6 from beyond the arc.
There’s always room for improvement, and the Celtics will be in serious trouble if the Cavs play any better than they did on Wednesday. Part of what makes LeBron so great is that he is always looking for ways to improve. That doesn’t go unnoticed by Celtics coach Brad Stevens.
Celtics' Brad Stevens on Cavaliers' LeBron James: "It's hard to believe, but he's better than when I got in the league. A lot better." http://pic.twitter.com/0UrUF980Ip
— Ben Golliver (@BenGolliver) May 18, 2017
LeBron voiced some concerns about Cleveland’s situation heading into the series, but they looked like the defending champs in Game 1. If the Celtics aren’t able to adjust, they could be sent home fairly quickly.

How the Heat got hot: the secrets to Miami’s incredible turnaround
With 23 wins in 28 games, Miami has surged back into playoff contention after sitting 11-30. Chris Smith reports on a remarkable NBA turnaround
We just wanted our games to matter, said Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra before last weeks thrashing of the Toronto Raptors, which earned his team a 21st victory in 25 games.
Ultimately you want your games to be significant. Whether you win or lose you want to feel that emotion.
At one point, that significance looked like protecting a top-five draft pick. Now the Heat sits at 34-35. After Friday nights 123-105 win over Minnesota it is in possession of the eighth seed in the East.
Spoelstra, of course, is no stranger to late-season surges. His 2013 Heat squad won 27 straight en route to retaining the NBA title. But that team didnt start 11-30. It didnt lose 10 of 11 prior to streaking and wasnt 10 games back of the play-offs.
From its lowest ebb in January, Miami would somehow reel off 13 wins on the spin. That has moved on to 23-5 in mid-March (15-16 at home), comfortably the NBAs best record over that period.
But how? The reality is, despite loss upon loss early on, Miami has been slowly gelling all along. In each month of the season, total points, FG and 3PT percentages have risen.
Even though we were losing we were trending. Our offense and defence were trending in a great way, said forward James Johnson, who has lost almost 40lbs since signing with Miami this summer, to reignite his playing career.
Our belief was in player development sticking to detail and preparing to do everything in the right way. Now when we get beat teams celebrate. That stands out. You deserve to celebrate. We worked hard to get ourselves out of this hole and we keep on trending the right way, sharing the ball and making winning shots.
Although Miami is far healthier and has rediscovered its defensive identity, ball sharing and finding the hot hand on offense has been key. The 27th-ranked three-point offense on January 14, rose to 1st at one point during the run. It has averaged 109.5 points per game in the last two months, a feat the Big Three era teams never accomplished.
Miami has also learned how to close. At 11-30 it had been involved in the most games decided by single digits (tied with Boston). Without Dwyane Wade, its departed closer of over a decade, and 11-time all-star Chris Bosh side-lined (perhaps permanently) with blood clots, the bigger moments were too big.
We had a lot of tough losses down the stretch and we didnt know how to win games as a basketball team, Spoelstra added. Weve gained the maturity to understand it could be different guys on different nights.
On Wednesday against the Pelicans, the about-face was at its most evident. Late in the fourth quarter, Miami made three straight threes, and nullified DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis on the defensive end.
Now we understand how we need to win, said point guard Goran Dragic after an irrepressible 33-point point display that had fans chanting MVP.
We would shy away from our game when we didnt get good open shots, we didnt run the offense well. Now, even if they make a run and you dont hit a couple, we know those shots were open so it was a good shot for us. We keep our composure, stick to our game plan and try to execute.
Dragic is one of many Heat players to find his groove. No longer deferential to Wade, he has averaged 20 points and 42% from beyond the arc. Persistent trade talk has subsided for good.
Shot-blocking centre Hassan Whiteside (averaging 16pts and an NBA-high 14 boards) is finding consistency to match the explosiveness on both ends of the floor, justifying a $98m commitment last summer.
Dion Waiters, crowded out by All-Star talent in Cleveland and OKC, has evoked Wades knack for clutch shooting in multiple Heat wins. He has found a home. Journeyman Wayne Ellington is shooting 45% from downtown since the All-Star break. Overall, five heat players are enjoying career years in multiple categories.
So, the question is: should the Heat make it, whod relish a first round match-up against arguably the leagues form team?
Since the turnaround, Miami has beaten Cleveland (twice), Golden State and Houston (twice) as well as higher-ranked Eastern Conference teams in Toronto, Detroit, Atlanta and Indiana.
Perhaps not the Cavaliers, whove lost 12 straight in Miami, including an 0-5 run since LeBron returned to The Land. Miamis win in Cleveland earlier this month was heading towards a blowout until a late rally spared the reigning champs blushes. A potential date with the Heat seems unlikely to be the first round stroll the Cavs are accustomed to.
We feel like we can play with anyone, says Tyler Johnson, the Heats tenacious back-up guard who ranks second in the NBA for points without a start. He and James Johnson (3rd) stand alone with over 500pts, 200 rebounds and 150 assists off the bench and must be contenders for the NBAs 6th Man Award.
Tyler added: Weve had a couple of victories against the top teams in the East, but we know what were capable of. We know what we started, coming from 11-30 to play-off contention, so were not looking for confidence at this stage.
Of course, play-off LeBron is an entirely different proposition. Just ask Steph Curry, who may need surgery to remove his tail from between his legs at this point. Bay Area authorities have completely abandoned the search for his swagger.
A potential match-up with likely second seed Boston (3-0 vs Miami this season) may be less favourable for the Heat. The teams havent met since December 30 and both are 24-11 since. Next weekend the Celtics take on a Heat team relishing the challenge of potential play-off ball, rather than a basement dweller.
Whiteside said: Just keep winning, keep rebounding, keep blocking shots, keep playing Miami Heat Basketball. Were not getting complacent. Were not comfortable. Were getting hungrier.
Recently Coach Spoelstra has perhaps received more plaudits than in any of his nine-years as head coach. Often his achievements were belittled by the assumption winning with Wade, Bosh and James was a formality.
No team has ever come from 19 below .500 to finish with a winning record. Miami is primed to do it. Is this run more satisfying than when a No1 seed wasnt expected, but demanded?
I try not to compare one season to another, he says. Some years are different in personnel, but Im able to look back on it and see that Ive grown and gotten better.
With 11 wins in its first 41 games few thought his team would be in control of its own play-off destiny. In that respect Spoelstra has achieved his mission to ensure it all has meaning.
I think games have been devalued for whatever reason, he said, speaking of a broader trend across the league. Theres a perception that the season doesnt start until the postseason. Thats not why all this was created years ago.
Ive told the guys many times in the last couple of weeks its a privilege to feel the emotions of every game really mattering, Coach Spoelstra said. You earn that privilege, but it doesnt guarantee you anything.
We had the opportunity to reveal persistence, but were very focused on finishing the job.
After 23 wins in 28 games, finishing the job could now entail more than just making the play-offs.

When the Cleveland Cavaliers put up 77 points in the first half against the Hawks on Friday night, it looked like they were en route to a dominant blowout win. But nothing is ever that easy in the NBA. Despite trailing by 25 at one point in the second half, the Hawks battled all the way back and cut the lead to three with just over two minutes remaining.
The Cavs, however, were finally able to seal a narrow 135-130 win, in no small part to their record-setting 25 three-pointers, which beat the Houston Rockets’ previous record of 24 set back in December. Overall, the Cavs shot a blistering 54.4 percent from distance on the night.
Kyrie Irving led the way for Cleveland with 43 points and nine assists and shot 5-of-8 from behind the arc. He also put on a dribbling clinic early in the first half. LeBron James, meanwhile, poured in 38 points, 13 rebounds, and eight assists on 14-of-27 shooting from the field, including 6-of-10 from downtown. One of those was a ridiculous shot from the left corner while falling out of bounds.
"It's that type of night for the King!" LeBron with 30 PTS on 5-of-7 3PT!
— NBA TV (@NBATV) March 4, 2017
Tim Hardaway Jr. had a phenomenal performance in a losing effort as he posted a career-high 36 points and made several key plays down the stretch in the fourth quarter to help lead the Hawks’ late charge. Paul Millsap added 27 points and nine rebounds on 9-of-16 shooting.
The Cavs have now won seven of their last 10 games and have a three-and-a-half game lead over the Boston Celtics for the top see in the East.
