Blazblue Week Day 1 - Happy 15th Anniversary!

I'm not usually one to talk much under my art but I think I might for this one. The idea for this was for the 15th anniversary I wanted to draw something from Calamity Trigger so I chose one of the game covers to redraw, although the EU cover is my fave I decided to go with this one, Nu and Hakumen are still my favourite boss fights after all. It was also fun to redraw some of Mori's art :)

To think 15 years and I've been there for half of them if not more. I'm so glad I have, I love Blazblue!!! It makes me so happy there's such a lovely group of Blazblue fans on tumblr here's to all the blazers old, new, future, and those of the alternate truths<3 Let's keep enjoying Blazblue together!

Tao being one of Ragna's only friends and all the fan-art and fiction was one of my first exposures to Blazblue and to this day I still like 'em. I think they're fun.

On the topic of gooey monsters…

Can I just say that I dislike the decisions made with Arakune origins in both ChronoPhantasm and Central Fiction, like idk but the fact that Arakune and Roy are not the same being kinda loses their whole appeal to me in a way-

(Still love Arakune though, my scrunkly <3)

I've been roaming in all of the websites available of the game, and I still don't know if Carl Clover and, evidently, his family (Relius, Ada, Ignis...) are Austrian or just from Iwatsuchi. Because on one side, it is said at the beginning of character selection, that Carl's birthplace was Austria, but for Relius, it says Iwatsuchi, which according to some websites that I have entered, this hierarchical city is located within the United States.

I choose to believe that the Clover family is Austrian, due to their physical appearance (blonde hair, blue eyes, fair skin..) and their names (specially Carl, which is a Germanic name, and German is spoken in Austria).

I need answers or feedback, please :<
