Boring, malgré son nom, recèle bien des mystères. Parmi eux, plusieurs légendes sont particulièrement tenaces, reprises à l'envie, chaque fois modifiées, des détails ajoutés, des circonstances plus mystérieuses encore... Toutes celles et ceux qui vivent ici les connaissent sans nul doute, tant elles ont occupé - et occupent parfois encore - la une des journaux locaux.

bigfoot ☄️  cette légende là, boring la partage avec une grande partie du nord-ouest américain, puisqu'on la trouve aussi bien au canada qu'aux états-unis. Aussi appelé sasquatch dans certaines régions, bigfoot serait une créature géante et humanoïde, à l'apparence poilue pouvant rappeler celle d'un gorille ou d'un ours. Il erre dans les forêts du pays, qu'il considère comme son territoire ; s'il n'est pas réputé comme étant hostile aux humains, mieux vaut donc ne pas rôder dans les parages et éviter les promenades nocturnes dans les bois lorsqu'un individu a été vu à proximité. the haunting of the museum  ☄️ planchers qui craquent, fenêtres qui s'ouvrent, objets qui se déplacent... Au point de faire fuir ses remplaçants : Boring recherche désespérément une personne pour tenir le musée et surtout, pour rester. ☄️ BLAYKE BARACH ☄️

Assignment 1 for Character Design class! We were tasked to create a new major humanoid character (playable character or important NPC) in an existing game of our choice and ensure it looks like a believable character that belongs in that game world. I picked Metroid Dread as I wanted to return to drawing mecha/robots (:

I imagined Samus, the main character in the Metroid series, to have a partner that can help her out in missions. As Samus' primary weapon is a long-range blaster, I made my OC a melee attacker and gave them large claws. I thought that this OC would prioritise stealth and speed, and based their colour palette off obsidian crystals.

The name Blayke is an alternative spelling of 'Blake', a gender-neutral name which means 'black' and I honestly forgot where I derived Barach from, although it's most likely the Hebrew origin which means 'lightning'. Blayke's name is a reference to their androgynous appearance, black hair, and agility.

I only recently found out about the Metroid series through E3 2021 and just managed to play the demo for Metroid Dread. I love the concept and character designs, although the gameplay I need to get used to! So much anxiety and tension at the start of the game especially when dealing with the E.M.M.I and getting used to the controls 😂😩
