Si chiama BT-05 Cento, è spinta dal motore Guzzi V2 maggiorato ed è io quinto veicolo prodotto dalla Blacktrack Motors.

Questa cafe racer molto essenziale nella linea è stata ideata da Sacha Lakic, designer francese con esperienza trentennale che in passato ha collaborato con Yamaha, Bimota, Voxan e Piaggio soltanto per citare le maggiori marche motociclistiche.

Nel 2016 Lakic ha fondato in Lussemburgo la Blacktrack Motors con l'obiettivo di creare piccole serie speciali di moto e auto, sono così nate le BT01 (motore Honda CX500), BT02 (Triumph Thruxton), BT03 (Harley-Davidson 114), BT04 (auto su base Porsche 964 Carrera 4) e la BT-05 Cento, omaggio al centenario della Casa di Mandello.

This Harley-Davidson Fat Bob 114 Is Actually Quite Slim

Back in 2015, a gifted moto surgeon, by the name of Sasha Lakic founded Blacktrack Motors. The firm is based in Luxembourg and its activity revolves around three main projects. They debuted with a spectacular Honda CX500, followed by the launch of their modified Triumph Thruxton and last but not least, a splendid work of art based on Harley Davidson’s monstrous Fat Bob 114. For each of these variants, the workshop is willing to undertake a limited production run that’ll fulfill the dreams of a few select riders. While this list may be short, the projects it hosts are certainly worth your full attention and a generous round of applause. In fact, let’s dive in a little deeper and examine their Fat Bob exploit, shall we? Before we kick things off, we’ll be having a quick look at some of the donor’s specs, which should give you a fairly clear idea as to how far Blacktrack’s masterpiece has come. One thing’s for sure; with a dry weight of just over 652 lbs (296 kg), this cuiser’s name couldn’t be more appropriate. It is powered by an unholy Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine, with four valves per cylinder and a compression ratio of 10.5:1. The ruthless V-twin SOHC leviathan boasts a truly colossal displacement of 1868cc. At around 3,500 rpm, this feral piece of twin-cooled machinery will generate a brutal torque output of 118 pound-feet (160 Nm). A six-speed gearbox is tasked with channeling this sheer force to Fat Bob’s 16-inch cast aluminum rear wheel by means of a belt final drive. Read the full article

El fundador y diseñador líder de Blacktrack, Sacha Lakic, "estaba hechizado cada vez que veía a uno (el XLCR) en las calles de París", por lo que su creación BT-03 buscó captar el espíritu y la mística del original al tiempo que creaba un original basado en el monstruoso motor (1.868 cc con 155 Nm de torque, culata) de una base Softail Fat Bob 114.

La BT-03 deja el marco y la geometría originales del Fat Bob al mismo tiempo que mejora el aspecto general con piezas de aluminio y compuestas a medida, árboles, mandos, soportes, suspensión mejorada, ruedas y frenos de aluminio forjado, entre otras cosas.
