Shang acquires his father’s treasures...  which makes him technically allowed to rule the forces as he sees fit, though he rejects that power, wanting only to sip the elixir and see his friends set free...

So the last time we saw Shang he was exposed to some chemicals that are supposed to be slowly killing him, and this book is obviously to deal with that...  and the idea if maybe he should get his hands on his father’s elixir... I mean it tracks...

Its been 2 years since we last saw Shang, and this book is basically used to tie up a loose end they left over in that book...

So it turns out that Leiko wasn’t actually ‘with’ Xiao, but for some reason she couldn’t just say that? Also they are still saying that Shang is dying... wonder if they will even mention it the next time that we see him...

There is no way that Shang doesn’t know who Bruce Lee is

Leiko was taken... and the people who took her are sending a message... by sending her hand back to her friends.

We are told that Leiko is dead, and also that Shang is splashed with some chemical that is designed to kill him... we’ll see if either of those hold true by the end of the issue.

This are very much like the old Master of Kung Fu stories... but that isn’t exactly a good thing, because now it feels dated.

Leiko, Clive, and Blackjack, looks like the whole band is back together... and the loner in the bottom lookin none to happy to see Chi is Xiao... we’ll get into him later.

It’s so hard to take Brynocki’s serious... I mean I dig the concept, a murderous Pinocchio, but it just isn’t used super well and instead is played 100% as a joke, but one they won’t let die.

The way Wu is talking here almost makes it sound like she is pregnant and not happy about it? I mean she is afraid of finding life when none was before? That has to be what she is alluding to right?

Half this book is really good... other half.. not so much.

Shang going back into the espionage business... knew it wouldn’t be too long.
