A girl who is much like Tarzan runs through the jungle in skimpy clothes. A lot of time is spent reveling in pre-code appreciation for the human form, until finally the Ape Girl spies Farmer Al Falfa and scoops him up to start a jungle family.

★★★★½
Plot: The devil, Chernabog, summons restless souls and demons to dance upon Bald Mountain.
Review: Though short, this gorgeous segment stands as a shining example of early animated horror.
Year: 1940 Genre: Animated, Dark Fantasy, Occult, Ghosts Country: United States Language: Silent Runtime: 11 minutes 31 seconds
Director: Wilfred Jackson Writers: Joe Grant, Dick Huemer, Campbell Grant, Arthur Heinemann, Phil Dike Editor: George Cave Composer: Modest Mussorgsky Animators & Artists: Dick Anthony, Bob Carlson, Merle Cox, Ray Lockrem, John McManus, Lester Novros, Don Patterson, William Shull, Robert Storms, Bill Tytla, Lars Calonius, Al Coe, Bob McCrea, Art, Stevens,
-----
Story: 3/5 - Not really the focus of this piece, but a fun little idea.
Animation: 5/5 - My knowledge of animation is limited, but even I can tell this was groundbreaking. The colors, character movements, and technical skill here are just amazing.
Editing: 5/5 - Smooth and well paced.
Music: 4.5/5 - Though not original to the segment, it fits so well.

Joe Magro's Good Luck Book (1937)
“When Italian-American artist Joe Magro left the studio in 1937 following the production of Snow White, his Disney colleagues presented him with a ‘good luck’ book filled with gag drawings. The drawings from that book were auctioned by Heritage Auctions, and include pieces by a who’s who of animation legends including Fred Moore, Ward Kimball, Bill Tytla, Grim Natwick and Marc Davis, among others.”
Source
Included here are sketches by Bob Leffingwell, Ward Kimball, Woolie Reitherman, Charles “Nick” Nichols, Jack Larsen, Clyde Geronimi, Dick Lundy, Fred Moore and two by Marc Davis. Three (Kimball, Reitherman, Davis) became part of the group known as Disney's Nine Old Men.

The Wee Men (1947)
Director: Bill Tytla & Al Eugster
Technique: ¨The Wee Men¨ has little to no information in how it was made, but what we do know is that it´s a traditional animation captured in a 35mm technicolor format about 9:50 minutes long.
Representation: In the short film we follow a leprechaun called Paddy who is about to be 121 years old, and he is working with other leprechauns to make shoes for the poor. He is given the task to deliver these shoes to different houses in Ireland but faces some problems when he encounters a Greedy landlord that wants to steal the leprechauns´ gold, making paddy think of a solution to get rid of him and outsmarts him, protecting the gold and making it intime for his birthday celebration.
Reception: The short film was originally presented on theaters but other than that there is not much information about how the people reacted to it.
I was able to find this short on YouTube.
