Yandere Bill Hazeldine x insecure! chubby! reader pls? Where the reader and Bill are childhood best friends until he meets Jewel and the reader gets pushed aside. And that the reader has had a crush on Bill since they were little. After the reader gets pushed aside They become more quiet and stop talking to Bill because the reader thinks he deserves better than them.
Bill was upset and confused. Ever since Jewel came into his life you have been getting distant from him. Now its been a week since he last saw you. He was always obsessed with you ever since you two were little kids. So he came up with a plan. One day when he was hanging out with Jewel he drugged her. He brought her to his house. Tying her up in his basement. Then he went to get you. He put you to sleep with a cloth. He was way more gentle with you than Jewel. He brought you to his basement and tied you to a bed. Now he just waited for the both of you to wake up.
Time skip
Once I woke up I saw Bill grinning at me. "Good morning Y/n." he said. "Bill? What is going on?" I asked. "Well I brought you here because you have been distant and that's not okay." he said. "The plan is I'm gonna kill Jewel and we can be together forever." he said when I glanced at Jewel. "Why? You deserve so much better than me." I said. Bill looked so shocked. (Surprised Pikachuu face.)"Your the most perfect being in the whole world. I will tell you that for the rest of my life." he said. Then he killed Jewel. He then made sire you knew how much he loved you.

Can you please do a Bill Hazeldine x based on this song
@jadep2003 I hope you like this! It's a bit different in the fact that it's a stream of thought rather than dialogue. In any event, I finally finished this for you! Sorry it took so long! 🥺🥰🤗
Joyce Hazeldine and your mom were, not exactly friends, but business partners. Because of the little ‘arrangement’ they had, you saw a lot of the Hazeldine’s son. Well, as long as Jewel Diamond wasn’t drooling all over him. You had your own boyfriend anyways. He actually was kind of a jerk. He was part of his own gang, bullying kids and adults alike and even causing problems at school. But he was the son of the head wife on your Mom’s side of the gangs so they wanted you to date him. The fact that he had a fancy sports car was the only really good thing about him.
To the outside world, you two seemed happy as ever. Even so, you couldn’t help but admire from afar the newest Little Stempington resident. He seemed nice. A bit innocent, but nice. And not completely innocent. You knew there was a little rebel somewhere in there. You just hadn’t figured out where yet.
As time went on, you could feel Bill's gaze on you whenever he was near. He couldn't seem to take his eyes off you, but you didn't dare return the action. Your boyfriend was possessive and you cared, for some reason, far too much for Bill to let him get on the wrong side of your boyfriend's anger.
The one thing you noticed about Bill that always made you smile a little was his taste in music. He seemed to like all the same bands that you did. Unfortunately for you, your boyfriend hated that music. So he refused to ever go to a concert with you or let you play it when he was present.
The night of the prom finally rolled around. Your boyfriend asked if you'd mind driving separately to the prom and, while extremely disappointed, you agreed. The first half hour of prom you spent mostly with your boyfriend. However he refused to dance and eventually got pulled away by his gang buddies.
You sat for a while alone, hanging out with some of the other girls in your class. That's when you feel it. He's watching you again. Risking a glance, you turn to him. Bill blushes brightly, giving you a shy smile from across the room. You smirk and wave at him. He looks around the room for someone, his face paling suddenly.
You follow his gaze and, when you see it, your jaw drops. In the center of the room stand your boyfriend and Jewel, dancing together. And they seem quite, how to put it, intimate. That puts the nail in the coffin for you. You're done being someone else's arm candy. Bill may be shy, naive, skinny and scrawny, but he's kind and a little rebellious. What more could you want?
"Hi," He says nervously, standing up as you approach.
"Hey there," You grin. Taking one last glance at the new prom king and queen, you shake your head and hold your hand out to him. He takes your hand and the two of you step out onto the dance floor yourselves.
"Why'd you notice me?" He asks.
"You're just like me," You reply, shrugging. He chuckles and nods.
"I guess so," He smiles.
"Hey, I've got two tickets to the concert Friday. Wanna come?"
Wasn't really sure who to tag 😂 Enjoy!

Fic: The Beach House (Bill Hazeldine x Reader)
Title: The Beach House
Summary: You go to meet Bill's family, including his brother
A/N: Based on this imagine lokihiddles2981 lokiloveravengerobsesser lokipenguin
****
“We can still back out of this.” Bill Hazeldine said as he drove you towards the family beach house. “They already know we’re engaged. That’s all they need to know.” You laughed a bit.
“Bill, sweetie, we’re all going to have to meet sooner or later.” You said, looking over at him. He glanced at you before turning his attention back to the road.
“You don’t understand.” Bill said. “My parents had to leave their last neighborhood because my mother started a war with one of the neighbor ladies, my dad is clueless, and…then there’s Oakley.”
“Oakley? What’s an Oakley?” You asked. Bill sighed.
“Well, hopefully he’ll be out getting drunk with his friends and you won’t meet him, but he’s my…child I grew up with that’s related to me.”
“So…your brother.” You said. Bill cringed at your statement.
“Ugh, I hate that.” Bill said. “Let’s just stick with calling him Oakley and that’s it.” You smiled then turned your attention back out the window, watching the scenery as it went by.
****
Bill’s parents weren’t near as bad as you had expected them to be. Joyce and Jeremy were friendly enough, even though Joyce kept saying she liked you better than Jewel. You knew that Bill had previously been in a serious relationship before and during his university days, but their flame burnt out and they went their separate ways. She went to California, he found you.
“Oh, Bill.” Joyce said. “Oakley should be here soon.” With that, Bill spit out the beer he had been drinking.
“Honey?” You asked. “Are you okay?”
“Good, good.” Bill said. “Well, if we leave now, we can get back to London by night. Tell Oakley I’m…”
“Tell Oakley what?” A voice behind him said. Bill closed his eyes.
“Shit.” He whispered under his breath. He turned and looked at the older man that stood behind him. “Oakley. Hi.”
“Hello Bill.” Oakley said. He looked over at you. “And hello lady that’s not Jewel Diamond. May I say my brother defiantly picked right this time.” He took your hand and kissed it. “I’m Oakley.”
“I’m (y/n).” You said. “Bill fiancée.”
“Fiancée?” Bill asked. “Baby brother’s growing up.” He playfully punched Bill’s arm.
“Now if only my big brother would.” Bill said under his breath. Jeremy came in then and started talking to Bill about something, leaving you and Oakley to make awkward small talk. You took a drink of your wine. Oakley kept looking at you.
“No offense, but you are way out of my brother’s league.” Oakley said. “How did he manage to catch you?”
“We met in my math class.” You said. “Bill set in there the whole class, even though he was in the wrong one. He claims he just wanted my number.” You smile at the memory. Oakley put his hand on yours.
“Well, my brother does have great taste then.” Oakley said. You pulled your hand back.
“Look, Oakley, you’re cool and all, but I love Bill. So if you could quit touching my hand and doing that whole sexy thing with your eyes, that’d be great.” You said. You thought you sounded harsh, but then Oakley started laughing.
“Hey Bill, I think you found the one!” He said, walking over to where his dad and brother were. Bill looked at him. “She didn’t fall for my charms like Jewel did. She loves you.”
“Well, that’s good.” Bill said. He paused for a second. “Wait a minute, when did Jewel fall for your charms?” Oakley turned red.
“Well, I got a new board. I’m going to go catch some waves. Be back later!” He quickly ran out of the house with Bill hot on his tail.
“Oakley! Get your tan ass back here!” Bill called, leaving you, Jeremy, and Joyce all laughing.

Tom Hiddleston Characters: How They Would Propose (To You)
(Disclaimer: I do not own any of these characters or images. This is just a fun listicle, not designed to offend anyone. As always, please feel free to leave comments and/or constructive criticism below. Thank you, and without any further ado, please enjoy!)
Characters in this list: Will Ransome, King Henry V, Prince Loki Odinson, Loki of Asgard and Jotunheim, Bill Hazeldine, Coriolanus, Jonathan Pine, Robert Laing, Magnus Martinsson, Oakley, Thomas Sharpe, James Conrad, and Jaguar Villain! Tom Hiddleston.
Also, my sincerest apologies - they all turned into mini-fics.
Will Ransome from The Essex Serpent
Reverend Will would propose to you after a Sunday roast dinner, after your family invited him to your home. You were helping to clear the table with the rest of the ladies in your family when Will coughed to announce his presence. At once, everyone cleared the dining room, leaving you alone with the vicar.
"A word please?" He politely called you by name, his hands clasped in front of him. Will sat you down in one of the empty chairs. Gods how he wanted to reach out and tuck one of your stray hairs behind your ear in that very moment, one of the intimate things that he longed to do with you. Intimate things that would be proper in the eyes of God if you were his lawfully wedded wife. He did not sit down, and gently began talking to you. "For some time, I have been charmed by you. Not just your looks, that is not to say that you are not a lovely woman. You are most lovely, but I have also been charmed by your kindness, your humility, and your…virtue."
Will knelt before you, looking up with the most earnest gaze. "If you will bestow upon me the fortune of being your husband, then in return I shall do everything to keep you safe and comfortable. I shall speak to your father, and we will be wedded in holy matrimony. You and I shall walk together upon this path of life, and I have no doubt that a virtuous woman like you will aid me in carrying out what the Lord decrees of us. My sweetest, please say that you will marry me."
Henry V from The Hollow Crown
With Henry, there was not much of a proposal to begin with. The marriage between you and the King of England was arranged by your father and his men, along with the king and his men. Still, Henry coaxed your father into having at least one private audience with you before the wedding ceremonies, so that he may properly court you as any suitor would.
'My dearest lady," Henry began as soon as he was alone with you in his study while your father and his men stood vigil outside. "Lower thy veil, and let me behold your face." He reached forward and removed the hood of your cloak, smiling as he beheld your beauty for the first time. "Cheeks rosier than the flowers that bloom in springtime. Your lips and eyes are so enticing, they call to me like sirens. Yours is a face that I shall never tire of seeing.
I confess to you, my lady, that words are not my greatest strength. Were it so easy that I could simply strap on armor or fire an arrow into a target or vault into my saddle for a wife, I should quickly vault for a wife. Alas, tis not so. For a woman's heart is truly one of the most difficult conquests to embark upon. Nevertheless, tis a conquest that I shall duly pursue if you can deign to love me.
If you can love such a man as me, someone whose words are not their strongest suit and someone whose fidelity to you is true, then take me. Take a soldier, and in taking a soldier, you will take a king." Henry knelt before you and offered you his hand. "Sweetest of all maidens, canst thou love me?"
Prince Loki Odinson of Asgard
"I have called you to discuss a matter of great importance, my lady." Loki enunciated the formal title at the end in an attempt to conceal the butterflies in his stomach. He summoned you to the palace gardens at the house before twilight, when the sky would be decorated with streaks of orange and pink. You walked alongside him through the bushes and the groves of flowers. Loki clasped his hands behind her back, walking as if he ruled every inch of earth on which he stepped.
He continued, "Yes, tis true that Thor, my brother, is the one whom my father has decreed to ascend the throne of Asgard," The younger prince of Asgard looked forward with a solemn expression while you listened with intrigue. "But he is incompetent." Loki turned to you. "He is idiotic and brash. You know as well as I do that he does not encompass the values of a king.
"Was he not the one who wished to invade Jotunheim alone, my prince?" You stopped in your tracks, just as the sun began setting into the horizon behind you.
"Yes, he was. It was all his idea, my lady." Loki did not bother to include his role in instigating Thor, it would not help him in this moment whatsoever. If he delayed this moment any further, he was convinced the words would be stuck in his throat, forever unable to escape. "You are one of the few people with whom I can share these thoughts, my lady." He sighed, his gaze fixated upon you and your beauty. "It is why I have called you here. In the coming future, I will need to protect Asgard from my brother's foolishness. And for that I should like to have a worthy companion by my side."
Loki conjured a shining dagger with a gold hilt out of thin air and promptly fell to one knee before you. The hilt of the dagger was engraved with the words, 'Min hærr, duonningen av mitt hjerte' (My beloved, Queen of my heart) Still on bended knee, Loki looked up at you with an expression of innocence that you never knew existed within him - wide eyes, baited breath, a meek expression. As if all his life were being wagered on a single thing right now.
"I wish to make you my wife," Loki declared, his lips trembling. "Should you accept, I will bring my proposal to your family, and then we will be wed with due ceremony. And if you decide otherwise, then I shall…" he swallowed, "I shall respect your choice."
Loki of Asgard and Jotunheim from the Marvel Cinematic Universe
"This looks like something stolen from the Graham Norton Show." You raised an eyebrow when Loki handed you an orange and purple card.
"It's a scavenger hunt." Loki said with a twinkle in his eye. "Every clue leads you to the next one."
"I know how a scavenger hunt works, Loki." You rolled your eyes and flipped over the card. "Was this your idea, or is this some ridiculous team-bonding activity put together by Steve Rogers?"
"No. You see,…I have some errands to do, but at the same time, I have an obligatory excursion with the Lady Valkyrie."
You crossed your arms. "So why the scavenger hunt?"
Loki brightly answered. "Well, it makes the errands all the more fun!"
"Alright, but you owe me, Loki."
"Good girl." The God of Mischief kissed you not the cheek and disappeared into thin air.
You glanced down and saw that the first card, which told you to pick up six cupcakes ordered under Loki's name. The cupcakes were from a specific café….that just so happened to be the place where you and Loki had your first date, which was set up by a far-too-enthusiastic Thor. The moment you got there, a waiter brought you a "complimentary" cupcake of your favorite flavor…along with another orange and purple card.
The second card took you to the library, on the pretext of picking up a book that was on hold for Loki. There, the librarian handed you the book - Divine Comedy by Dante - and another book that you recognized. It was Pride and Prejudice, one of the first pieces of "Midgardian literature" that you introduced to Loki, a book that you were all too happy to fangirl over. But inside the book was - yes- another orange and purple card.
The third card sent you to pick up Loki's dry-cleaning. (Really, Loki? Dry cleaning?) At the dry-cleaners, the person at the register handed you a transparent garment bag containing a black tuxedo with a ruffled white shirt. And then you were given a second garment bag with an emerald green gown embellished with diamonds. You couldn't help but stare a few moments at the pretty, expensive-looking gown. Before the person at the register could hand you another card, you made a mental note to ask Loki about the gown and whom it was for. You guessed it was probably for himself for the times he was feeling fabulous. Actually, Loki also liked to wear absolutely nothing when he was feeling his most fabulous…but that didn't matter right now.
The fourth card took you to the park where Loki confessed his love for you for the first time, on the pretext of picking up Loki's forgotten jacket and buying a bouquet of white flowers.
The fifth card took you across the city just to get a particular bottle of liquor that Loki had liked. Okay, now this guy was having a little too much fun with you right now.
You were relieved when the sixth card, given to you by the liquor store clerk, led you back to the Avengers compound, to the same room where you began this entire scavenger hunt. You huffed a little, setting the box of cupcakes, the books, the two garment bags, Loki's jacket, the flowers, and liquor gently on a table. "Loki? Loki, where are you?"
Loki stood in the middle of the Avengers' common room, wearing polished gold armor over a black and green leather tunic with long, dark trousers. His hair was combed perfectly in place, and his hands clasped behind his back. He stood surrounded by a few candles and fairy lights hanging against the curtains.
"Okay, I need answers…" You sighed, already tired from running around all afternoon. "Loki, I got your things, just tell me what the gown is for and the…the liquor and the…Are you throwing a party or something?"
"I'm getting married."
"What?!" You gulped, reaching for the nearest couch. "I…what? You're getting married, why didn't you tell me? And…" You felt your head start to spin, preparing yourself for the worst. Whatever happened to all the times he said he loved you? Was he just using you to put together some kind of romantic gesture for someone else, just a tool?! Perhaps this is what you get for letting the God of Mischief into your life. Betrayal. "Well, I hope they make you happy, Loki." You relented, putting your head in your hands.
"She does."
"Good." You murmured, trying your best not to cry in this moment. That was the last thing you wanted him to see. "Is that gown for her too?"
"Hm-hm. Of course, it'll probably end up on the floor after the engagement party, hehe."
"Loki, I am in no mood for your jokes right now." After a few moments, you looked up.
"Come on,…have a sense of humor."
"NO!" You yelled, getting up from the couch. "No, I will not have a sense of humor right now! You used me! You used me, and lied to me. You told me to do all of these errands, like picking up dry cleaning, and buying liquor, without telling me that you were going to propose to someone else! You could have at least told me, just so I'd have some kind of closure. But no, you couldn't even think to do that. You told me it was a scavenger hunt, like I wasn't worth knowing the truth.
I...I did this because I care about you, Loki! I care about you like some kind of idiot who actually thought that you might like me the same way that I liked you. That right there, making me like you might just be the worst thing you have ever done me." You took a moment to breathe, and ran your hands through your hair.
"Ugh…And you made me even pick up her engagement dress! What kind of person makes someone do that?!" You couldn't even think about the words you were spitting out, too busy with the hot tears clouding your vision.
"The kind of person who knows how good it'll look when you wear it."
"What?!" You were taken aback all of a sudden.
Loki approached you with a hint of nervousness. "Darling, you are one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I know I'm not easy to be with, that I drive you mad sometimes, and I make you put up with a lot. I...I should've practiced this more." He laughed under his breath. "Why didn't I?" Blinking, he pushed his hair back before continuing.
"What I'm trying to say is,...my life has never been the same since I met you. You're the most steadfast ally, a wonderful friend, and best of all, you are the most passionate and loyal person I have ever known. I could never imagine my life without you, and I never want to. That's how much I love you."
The God of Mischief fell to one knee, and held up a small emerald ring with a gold band.
"Will you marry me?"
Bil Hazeldine from Suburban Shootout
"Where are we going?"
"It's a surprise, sweetheart." Bill pulled his father's car into a driveway, and took your hand. "Just close your eyes, alright?"
"Alright…" After a few steps, you could hear Bill opening a door and the sound of a shopkeeper's bell, along with the muted conversations of various patrons. The scents of vanilla and grease reached you almost immediately.
Bill held you close and whispered that you could open your eyes now.
When you opened your eyes, you laughed a little. "We haven't been here in a while…"
"You remember it?"
"How could I ever forget?" You kissed him on the cheek, and let him find a table for you.
Bill's proposal began with him taking you to the milkshake diner where the two of you had your first date. After a bit of small talk over a banana split, Bill not-so-discretely excused himself. While you sat at the table with your spoon and checked your phone, Bill made his way to the jukebox with his hands in his jeans' pockets, feeling the small box inside. He'd almost thought about wearing a suit for this occasion, but his mum said it would make you suspicious. And his father suggested hiding the ring inside your ice cream to be more romantic , but Bill was terrified by the idea of you accidentally choking. Yes, keeping the ring with him was a better idea.
Bill took a deep breath and slipped a coin into the jukebox, flipping through the various tracks to find one of the songs you enjoyed. When he found one, he pressed play and called your name. Bill extended his hand out, offering to dance with you. He twirled you, and the two of you swayed in time with the music, smiling all the while. At the end of the song, Bill proudly kissed you on the lips.
He gently said your name, and pushed a bit of hair out of your face. "You're the one I want to dance with to every song…There's just no one like you, no one I could ever dream of that's just as wonderful as you are." Bill reached in his pocket for the small box, and fell to one knee, not caring who might be watching you in the diner. Inside the small box was a 0.3-carat diamond ring with a silver band. "Would you make me the happiest man in the whole world, and marry me?"
Caius Martius Coriolanus from Coriolanus
Coriolanus invited your family to dine with him and his mother one night on the pretext of an important matter concerning two important families of Roman nobility. It was not the first time he'd done such a thing, inviting your family to break bread with him and his mother. He had even visited your father's home before, sharing wine with your father and your brothers from time to time. It was through those meetings that Coriolanus fell more in love with your smile, the way you bit your lip when you were thinking,…and even the way your laugh infected him like a plague. And if there was anything more deadly to him than your simple, unadulterated laughter, then it was your beauty which had him fighting the urge to smile whenever you walked into a room or whenever he heard your voice.
But despite his best efforts, it became quickly aware to everyone in your family how besotted the general was with you. The way his head unintentionally bowed whenever he was in your presence, as if you were the sun and he would go blind if he looked you straight in the eye, never went unnoticed. The fact that you were the only person who could make him laugh, and that the simple mention of your name was enough to make the powerful General and conqueror of Corioles lower his usual barking voice made your family - and anyone else in the general's presence - giggle under their breath.
So when everyone had finished the prima mensa, Coriolanus stood up and raised his cup. "I have called you here tonight, to make a proposition," he declares with the same voice that he would use to speak to the Senate. "An alliance between our families…" The general turned his gaze to you for a moment, and exhaled to calm his racing heart, which only quickened when you looked back up at him. "If you will bestow upon me this honor, I wish to make your daughter…my wife. She is virtuous, and kind,…endowed with a noble background."
He waved for two of the servants of his household to present your mother and father with gifts of imported silk and valuable coins. And for you, the general had his servant gift place a set of golden jewelry - a girdle, five bracelets, and a layered necklace with rubies - in your lap. Underneath the girdle was a small piece of parchment with the words,
"I long to see you wearing these on our wedding night, my lady. Only these."
You turned red, and looked up and the general, politely expressing your thanks.
"Should you accept," Coriolanus gave you a nod and turned to your family. "We shall make our alliance official in the presence of the gods. Your daughter shall be my wife, and I her husband. I will defend her from harm and protect her, as I have defended Rome time and time again. Your daughter will be cared for, and all I ask for in return, is your fidelity. Pledge to me your allegiance, for I shall need your influence when the time comes for the elections in the Senate.
Instead of a dowry give me your loyalty, and I swear that your priceless gem of a daughter will want for nothing for as long as I live. Do I have your word?"
Oakley from Unrelated
"Let's get married." Oakley off-handedly said while the two of you stood outside, leaning against the wall while he smoked a cigarette.
You raised an eyebrow. "Are you kidding?"
"No." He took another drag of his cigarette and turned to you with his ocean blue eyes and tousled, dirty blond curls. "We should get married."
"Who are you and what have you done with Oakley?"
"What, you don't think I'm good enough to marry you?" He protested.
Shaking your head, you laughed. "No, it's not that…"
"Well, then what is it?" Oakley crossed his arms and furrowed his brow at the sight of you laughing. "We have fun together, we make each other laugh,…we look good together, especially when naked-"
That was enough for you to playfully hit him on the shoulder, causing him to chuckle. He continued, "We like each other. We have this great relationship."
"But are you sure this is what you want?" You asked. "Don't you want to explore, try things? Do stuff before you're tied down?"
"Why would I do that? When there's this…beautiful, funny, smart, and sexy girl right there with me, I'm not even looking at anyone else." Oakley simply countered. "I like what we have, and i don't want to let it go. We can travel, explore the world, and I'll do it all with you." There was no sign of hesitation in his voice, but maybe it was just the cigarette fueling his courage. He came closer to you, and looked dead serious. "I don't want what we have to be just something we try for as long as we can, something we leave up to chance. I want forever with you."
"Forever?"
"Forever." Oakley knelt before you, his eyes going from a vivid cyan to a soft, almost pale bag blue. "I don't have a ring but…" He removed his necklace and presented it to you like an offering at an altar, calling your name. "Marry me."
Jonathan Pine from The Night Manager
Jonathan had been working with MI-6 for almost two years, embarking on various mission for them after he gained acclamation for helping to carry out Operation Limpet. He, along with officer Angela Burr, took down the infamous arms dealer Richard Roper once and for all.
Since then, Jonathan found himself a new home in London and got back in touch with you, the one who stole his heart back when he was still working as a night manager. He didn't know how much he truly missed you until you answered his letter, telling him about the twists and turns your life had taken since your last encounter with Pine. After about three weeks of exchanging handwritten letters - simply because they reminded you both of a simpler time and felt more personal - with Jonathan using a pseudonym to protect you, he invited you to visit London for a holiday.
And those five days you spent in London were some of the best five days of Jonathan's life. He delighted in your innocence, the way you happily took his arm and strolled through the city, randomly surprising him with kisses. Arm in arm, without a care in the world except for each other, enjoying all that life would have to offer…This is how it should be, Jonathan thought to himself as he gazed at the sparkle in your eyes, the color in your cheeks. He listened as you talked about everything you liked about London, everything that disgusted you, and everything you hoped for in the future, simply taking in the opportunity to just be with you.
After a few moments, you asked him about what he wanted in the future, and all Jonathan had to say was one word.
"You."
You looked up from your cup of tea. "Me?"
He took a breath. "Yes." Jonathan affectionately said your name, and reached for your hand. "I never grew up in a house with both parents, doting on me." He told you about how his life up until joining MI-6 was an abominable quest for order. How his time in the military and working in the hotel business was part of an aim to find a direction in his life, and how little happiness it truly brought him. How alone he felt whenever his life wasn't being threatened.
Jonathan sighed, not used to telling so much about himself in a single conversation, laying his heart out on the table to be cut into and devoured. "I promised myself that I would find the one person that I could care deeply for, and love them. I promised myself that I would make friends, find a home…a place to belong. Maybe someday become a parent."
You looked upon him lovingly. "That's beautiful, Jonathan."
He raised your hand to his lips and kissed it. "I want all of those things, and I want them with you." Jonathan declared, quiet enough for the two of you to hear. "These past days with you have been…incredible. When I look at you, I see everything that I have wanted, the life that I want to be living five years from now, ten years from now."
He continued, "You make me believe in a future that's worth building. The way you smile…, the way you look upon me and everyone with stars in your eyes…I want to be the one who keeps that smile on your face, the one who makes you laugh. I want to be the one who kisses you good night, and the first one you see in the morning. I want to be the one you come home to every evening, the shoulder you lean on."
Jonathan stroked the back of your hand with his calloused thumb. "I know it's soon, but if there is anything that I've learned, it's that when you see something worth keeping in your life, you do everything you can not to let her go. You just do it." He looked into your eyes. "Marry me?"
James Conrad from Kong: Skull Island
It was the third time this week James had a nightmare. After thrashing and groaning, fighting an invisible beast, James found it in himself to call you - his neighbor whom he'd been dating for two years - on the telephone. His forehead and his chest were dripping with sweat, his expression one of agony, when you approached his bed. It was obvious that he had been in a lot of pain.
James wasn't the type of person who wanted to expound upon the terrors he was feeling; he was a man of action who preferred expressing his emotions nonverbally. So, you respected that and simply talked about mundane things, things about civilian life that would temporarily distract James. As you both fell asleep, you made a mental note to remind James setting another appointment with his therapist, the one MONARCH had prescribed for him.
You woke up to an empty bed. It wasn't unusual for James to go out on an early morning walk to be alone with his thoughts. It was one of the things he'd learned from his therapist when he asked about how to be a better sweetheart to you while recovering from his trauma. You washed your face and brushed your teeth with a heavy heart, hoping it wouldn't be too long before you saw James again.
While you styled your hair, you heard the door unlock. James walked inside, carrying a bag of breakfast pastries. "Good morning." He greeted you in a low, casual voice.
"Good morning…" You would've asked if he slept well, but given the events of last night, that question made no sense. "I'm sorry I stayed over."
"No need to apologize." James set the pastries down and placed a kettle on the stove. While the water rose to a boil, James unwrapped the two chocolate croissants he bought, and glanced up to find you standing in the kitchen. You walked up to him slowly, and without missing a beat, James gently kissed you with an arm gently holding your waist. He murmured your name again, his breath warm against your lips. "Thank you."
"You're welcome."
James gave you a chaste kiss on your forehead before going into his bedroom. "I brought breakfast for us both. Should I make us some eggs?"
"No need…" You watched James open one of his drawers. "Before I forget, do you want to make an appointment with your therapist?"
"Uh, I will." James returned to the kitchen with a small box in his right hand. "Thanks for reminding me."
"What is that?"
James took a deep breath. "Just something to thank you for last night,…and for everything you've done."
"James, you really didn't have to-"
"No. I've been wanting to do this for a year, it's time."
Your breath caught in your throat as James opened the box to reveal a small, simple sapphire ring. He began, "I should've done this sooner, and I'm a fool for not doing so." James fell to one knee, and you gasped. "Darling,…Over the years I've known you, you have helped me…become a man again. You've remained by my side as I've made attempts to return to civilian life. You've comforted me during my worst hours, and you have given me something worth living for."
"James…"
"You're someone worth fighting for." He laughs a little. "I love you. And if you let me, I will spend the rest of my life making you feel loved and caring for you in the ways that you have cared for me.
Darling, will you marry me?"
Magnus Martinsson from Wallander
"Marry me." Magnus groaned with relief when you brought him a plate of eggs, some coffee, and an aspirin. He was laying on your couch, hungover after a night out with you and some of his mates from the police station.
You simply rolled your eyes and laughed a little. "Eat your eggs, you'll feel better with some food inside you."
Magnus kept his eyes on you while you both drank coffee, his headache slowly diminishing. "That a yes?"
"No, Magnus." You flatly said. "You had a lot to drink last night. Just…eat your eggs and finish your coffee. I'm not saying yes to a guy that passed out on my couch after throwing up into the bushes outside."
He grimaced. "I did that?…Sorry." Magnus looked down and shoveled a forkful of eggs into his mouth. "Whatever, it was just a question, not like I meant it or anything." He pretended to brush off the matter. "You doing anything else today?"
"Tidying the house. You?"
Magnus closed his eyes for a moment to taste the savory flavor of the eggs. "i have a few things to do at the station for Kurt. Won't take long."
You and Magnus finished breakfast in silence before Magnus thanked you for letting him crash on your couch. "I'll see you soon." He said, giving you a kiss on the cheek.
You almost found it funny, the way he groaned for you to marry him, and chuckled to yourself. For all of his sarcastic quips and his cold exterior, there were times Magnus was an unintentional sweetheart. You'd known him for about seven months, how endearing he was whenever he tried to show off at darts or pool. You thought about the time he brought you soup every night when you had a flu that lasted for a week. And during that one time he showed up late to one of your date nights because of a case, he spent the rest of the evening simply snuggling with you until you fell asleep in each others' arms. It was one of the first times you'd ever seen him smiling so blissfully like a newborn baby.
About a few hours later, you could hear it rain outside, a bolt of thunder rumbling across the sky. While caught up in some trashy television, you heard a knock on the door.
There was Magnus, standing outside drenched from head to toe.
"Magnus, what are you-"
"I meant it." He confessed while the raindrops rolled down the sides of his face. "Marry me." He repeated when you asked him what he was talking about. Magnus reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a small gold ring with three tiny diamonds. "You're the most perfect person in this entire world. And it's not just because you make the best eggs." He said, making you laugh. "You're stunning, even when you've just woken up. You put up with a lot, and…I can't really say what it is you do to me, but I can't help it. I…I…"
"I love you too, you crazy detective!" You finished.
"So, is that a yes?" Magnus asked again, with a big grin on his face as he presented the ring to you.
Robert Laing from High-Rise
"We need to talk." Robert broke the silence while the two of you shared a candlelit dinner in your flat.
All traces of a smile disappeared from your face instantly. Usually nothing good ever followed those four words.
You put your fork down. "What did you want to talk about?"
Robert looked you in the eye. "I moved to this high-rise to be alone, to be away from people. This…a relationship was the last thing that I wanted." He blinked, looking down at his plate for a moment. Then, he wiped his mouth with a napkin.
You tensed in your seat, preparing for the worst. God, Robert. If he was trying to break up with you, then he just picked the worst time possible.
The doctor stood up. "I thought I wasn't built for love…So I tried to be alone as much as I could, avoiding every chance to be attached to someone." He swallowed. "And then you came."
You let out a sigh, assuming that Robert was going to say something awful about your relationship.
"It was like I couldn't even recognize myself anymore. What you did to me…" Robert called your name and walked over to you. "I cannot go a day without hearing your quippy words…, without seeing you when I come home,…without kissing you. It's more than anything I have felt in years." He confessed, his fingers tracing the back of your chair. "If you were to disappear from my life, it would feel like losing everything I've ever known. And…truthfully, the idea of that terrifies me. Maybe I could live without you,…but I don't know if I would be able to call it living.
"So what are you trying to say?" You murmured.
Robert sighed. "Forgive me, I'm not used to having these conversations."
"It's okay."
"You did it again." The doctor remarked. "You're making me fall in love with you, sweetheart." Robert went to the coat closet where he kept his blazer, and pulled a small box from one of the pockets. He returned to your side. "What I'm trying to say is,…that I'm in love with you. I'm in love not only with you, but with the way that you make me…feel things. The way that you remind me that there's a future ahead of us both. A future that can be much more than just dreary parties and squabbles between the upper floors and lower floors. You make me very happy, darling, and I think that you should know that."
Robert took a deep breath and fell to one knee, next to your chair with the box opened to reveal a silver ring with a diamond heart. "Would you marry me, and make me an even happier man?"
Thomas Sharpe from Crimson Peak
You were sitting on the swing set in the garden of your family estate, enjoying the mid-morning sun and the gentle breeze. Idly moving your legs back and forth, you played with a small cluster of Baby's Breath in your lap. It was nice to be away from the bustling drama and the incessant gossip, and instead be surrounded by fresh air.
"My lady." You were awoken from your reverie by a smooth, vaguely familiar baritone that belonged to none other than Thomas Sharpe. He was a guest who'd been staying at an inn near your family's home, having joined your family for supper at least ten times in the past two weeks. In your eyes, he seemed mysterious and yet full of stories to tell, always having an anecdote about a place he'd visited or a trick to show you and your siblings. There was something about him that made you drawn to him as soon as he walked into a room, you were unable to articulate what it was.
"Good morning. What brings you here, Baronet?"
The baronet gave you a smile, and leaned against a tree, watching you enjoy yourself on the swings. "I was speaking to your father and his, erm, associates about a business venture."
"About clay, right? Mining it?"
Thomas nodded. "Precisely, my lady. And you, have you been enjoying your morning?"
You blushed as he took a step closer. "Yes, Baronet."
"No need for such formal titles now, my lady. We're not at a ball, nor are we at supper. ''Thomas' will do." He gently said. "May I share your company for a while, my lady, if it would not be much of a bother for you?"
You allowed him, giving the Baby's Breath to him as a token of affection. No, not a token of affection. Simply a nice gesture that would hopefully give you a place in Thomas's good books. Maybe he might even ask you for a dance at the next ball.
"Will you be attending the ball this Saturday, Bar- I mean, Thomas?"
He nodded, taking a moment to smell the flowers. "You?"
"I will."
"And have you chosen a gown, my lady?" Thomas decided to humor you a little. He smiled while you sheepishly described the dress that you had your eye on for that special occasion. "Well, I'm sure you will look divine wearing it, my lady. Do you often spend time here in the gardens, all by yourself."
"Yes. I enjoy the flowers, and the breeze. It's beautiful when the weather is pleasant."
"I can imagine, my lady. It's been a long time since I have relaxed in a garden." Thomas places the Baby's breath in his front pocket. "My lady, there is something I wish to know of you."
You stopped swinging, and asked him what it was.
"I would like to know if you would be interested in marrying me." Thomas knelt by your side, looking up at you with eyes that bore the same hue as a cloudless sky. "For some time, my lady, I have admired your numerous charms from afar. And with each passing day, my affections for you have grown stronger. I find myself thinking about you at the most unpropitious times of day." He sighs, "While I may not be a man of great fame or great brawn or of great wealth, I am a man of dignity." Thomas promised you, despite knowing it was a blatant lie. "I will make sure that you lack nothing as my wife. And to treat you with nothing but the compassion and the love that you deserve. All I ask in return, is that you try to find it in your heart to give me even an iota of your affections.
Would you be willing to do that, my lady?"
Jaguar Villain!Tom Hiddleston
Ever since you moved into the flat Mr. Hiddleston bought for you, the most powerful man in London always had a designated town car sent to pick you up from work or school every day. His favorite chauffeur would show up at the same time every weekday, give you a friendly greeting, and drop you off at your flat. And once you got there, you'd be greeted by a doorman that Mr. Hiddleston personally hired to make sure that you reached safely.
Today, however, the chauffeur did not drop you off at your flat. At least, not right away. "Monsieur Hiddleston had something different in mind for today," he said with a small grin, like he knew something was going on. The chauffeur dropped you off at the nail salon for a manicure paid for by your powerful beau.
After being pampered by the nail technician for about forty-five minutes, you returned to the town car to find a bag in the backseat with the word 'Harrods' on it. "You went shopping?" You asked the chauffeur while he drove you to your flat.
"Non, it was all Monsieur Hiddleston. He was keeping this dress on hold, and asked me to pick it up for you. He would like you to wear it tonight."
You thanked the chauffeur with a smile. Inside the bag was a beautiful Carolina Herrera gown in your favorite color. And right on cue, your phone buzzed with a text from your beau, asking if you liked his gift. As always, you texted back saying that it was perfect.
The chauffeur dropped you off at your flat, and asked you to be ready by seven-thirty…but not before taking a good look at your manicured nails and saying an early 'congratulations'.
"Gordon owes me a favor," Mr. Hiddleston bragged a little when he arrived in front of your building at seven-thirty sharp. He opened the door of his favorite black Jaguar, and helped you inside the front passenger seat. "You look stunning tonight, darling."
"You look amazing too," you couldn't help but say. It was the truth after all. "When you said Gordon, did you mean…?"
"We're going to the River Restaurant in the Savoy Hotel, darling." He kept one hand on the steering wheel, placing the other one on your knee. "Hungry?"
"Nervous," you sheepishly said.
"I'm here, nothing can harm you." He turned his eyes to the road. "Your fears are far behind you."
The moment you arrived, the host of the restaurant immediately led you both to one of the outdoor terraces, where there was a table for two set up. Mr. Hiddleston pulled the chair for you before sitting down, and a waiter poured both of you some Dom Pérignon.
"This is beautiful." You gushed, watching the most powerful man in London raise an invisible toast. You clinked your glass against his.
He replied with a dramatic flair. "Nothing compared to you."
"So…what did you to get this favor?" You leaned in and asked him while the waiter placed a charcuterie board for the two of you to share. "This is a seafood place, charcuterie isn't on the menu."
A twinkle in his cerulean eyes, Mr, Hiddleston fed you a piece of cheese. "That's confidential, darling. Just enjoy the night."
"I will."
The two of you made small talk about your day, and about Mr. Hiddleston's upcoming business trip to Paris. You would be going with him of course, Mr. Hiddleston would make sure of that. The waiter refilled your champagne, and your beau discretely gave him a twenty-pound note, whispering that it was time for the main course.
The waiter took about fifteen minutes to bring your elegantly-arranged entrees out onto the terrace. And as he came out, you could hear an orchestra from inside the hotel begin to play "All I Ask of You" from Phantom of the Opera.
"Enjoying yourself?" Mr. Hiddleston leaned forward with a smirk as he noticed you listening to the music.
You admitted this was one of the songs you enjoyed, and said it reminded you of the first time you'd ever heard of the musical. How much you wanted to be Christine in that moment, serenaded with the promise of a life with no more darkness.
"Well there's one more thing I have for you tonight, darling." With a smirk, Mr. Hiddleston reached into the pocket of his blazer, retrieving a small box labeled 'Harry Winston'. He slowly got out of his chair and made his way towards you.
You gasped, covering your mouth almost immediately. You swore you could feel your heart stop just for a moment when his eyes met yours. It all made sense now: the manicure, the accidental 'congratulations', the gown,…
"Oh my god…"
Mr. Hiddleston fell to one knee and opened the box, which contained a 1-carat diamond ring with a platinum band. "Love me. It's all I ask of you."

Will Ransome from The Essex Serpent
On his wedding day to you, Reverend Will Ransome would wake up at sunrise, taking his time to wash himself, get dressed, and make his way to the church for his own wedding
He would take advantage of the early hours of the morning to be alone with his own thoughts, except almost all of his thoughts would be on you. Will would mull over how tomorrow, he would wake up as a married man. Instead of an empty bed, Will would find you by his side as his wedded partner, a gift bestowed upon by God for him to cherish for the rest of his life. Instead of spending the morning contemplating in circles, the reverend would be with his newly wed wife, talking to you about his thoughts and eagerly listening to yours. And instead of retiring alone at nightfall, he would be comforted by your warmth and your love, spending hours in your arms until you both drifted off to sleep.
Heavenly father, hallowed be thy name, grant him the strength not to stray from the path of a devoted husband.
After an hour or two of solitude that would finally come to an end after years of longing, Will would politely interact with the guests while taking his rightful place at the altar as the groom.
As soon as Will saw you enter the church, holding a bunch of wildflowers and forget-me-nots, his heart would swell with joy and gratitude. He would silently thank God for bestowing him this gift of spending his life with you. And before the official vows, he would make his own, silent promise to make you happy as possible for as long as he lived.
Wedding superlative: Most likely to get caught in a compromising position right before the ceremony (don't ask me how I know this, I just do)
King Henry V from The Hollow Crown
On his wedding day to you, King Henry V would remain as stoic as possible in the presence of his servants while they readied him for the ceremony.
Yet, occasionally his eyes would drift towards the small, intricate portrait of you that stood on his dressing table. Henry commissioned for it to be painted (based on his own description of you) for his personal desire after the first meeting with you. Every morning and every night that he could not be with you, he would look at the portrait and remind himself of the one that ruled his heart, his only beloved.
And it delighted him to know that one day, that portrait would be replaced with a larger, more grand painting of you and Henry, the rulers of England. Perhaps, if God willed it, you would be holding his future heir in your arms when the time came for your portrait.
Thinking about the heir would almost make Henry break his stoic facade, not because he would be thinking of fatherhood but because he would be musing over your wedding night. How would you feel after the ceremony? Would you be open to consummating your marriage?
He would gently lick his bottom lip, remembering the first time he kissed you on the lips. It was on your third meeting, after Henry sweetly asked for your permission to do something so bold as to embrace you. If it weren't for his own restraint, Henry would have been caught blushing like a virgin by his own servants. That would certainly set some tongues wagging about the castle.
"Nev'r has't i seen true beauty until this moment. How f'rtunate i might not but beest, yond while oth'r men spendeth their whole liveth seeking Elysium, i has't t bef're me", were King Henry's thoughts as soon as he stood in the church, gazing upon you while you entered, wearing a pristine white wedding gown and holding the arm of your father.
(Translation: Never have I seen true beauty until this moment. How fortunate I must be, that while other men spend their whole lives seeking paradise, I have it before me.)
At that moment, all of the royal stoicism the king of England had faded away like the morning dew. He smiled as if he were blessed with everything he could ever want.
His eyes did not leave you even as you stood beside him at the altar and knelt before the priest.
Henry recited his vows without flinching or faltering. As soon as the priest gave him permission, the king of England lifted your veil and proudly brought his lips to yours.
Your wedding would be one of the happiest days of the king's life, and one he hoped that you would also cherish
Wedding superlative: Most likely to have a coronation and a wedding on the same day
Prince Loki of Asgard from Thor:
On his wedding day to you, Prince Loki of Asgard would be pacing through the palace in the hours before the ceremony, his hands behind his back
He had already imagined this day more times than he could count, marrying you, the love of his life. And with each day leading up to your wedding, his fantasies would grow so vivid, so exciting, so intimidating that he would hardly be able to sleep
Thoughts would be plaguing his mind every waking moment while the palace was being decorated for the celebrations
Would he be a good husband to you? How would he be able to satisfy you on the wedding night? And what if he displeased you in some way, shape, or form? Would you go to Thor instead and seek comfort in his arms? No…no, no, it couldn't be. Loki shook his head. You loved him. You would never betray him and he would never betray you.
With a million butterflies in his stomach, he would go to the throne room with Thor by his side, wearing his armor, brand new emerald green robes, and his signature golden horned crown.
Seeing you standing next to him in a beautiful wedding gown completely took his breath away, and it only strengthened his resolve that he would stay by your side for the rest of his life.
He would probably struggle to look you in the eye, keeping a shy, boyish smile on his lips the whole time simply because of how much you resembled a goddess of beauty
In the presence of the All-Father, Prince Loki would make his vows to protect you, remain loyal to you, and perform his duties as a husband with utmost respect. And when the time comes, in front of all of Asgard, he would bring his lips to yours, sharing your first kiss as a married couple.
Wedding superlative: Most likely to get shy when putting the ring on his bride's finger
Loki of Asgard and Jotunheim from Avengers: Infinity War
On his wedding day to you, Loki would probably be overly excited about making sure this wedding was one to remember for the centuries to come
Until he met you, Loki believed he would never be able to find true love, let alone find someone to spend the rest of his life with. But all of that changed when Loki had a crush on you and Thor decided to play Cupid, conveniently leaving his brother alone with you in parks and cafés. Loki and you eventually caught onto Thor's plan, and eventually began placing bets with each other about what stupid excuse Thor would use to leave the situation. The result? Loki fell hopelessly in love with your wit, your humor, and your beauty.
And now that he would finally get the chance to celebrate his union with someone so special, Loki decided to leave no stone unturned in making your wedding as wonderful as possible.
With his brother's help, he arranged to have the magic of Asgard brought to your Midgardian venue, complete with a long banquet, floral arrangements with Asgardian flowers, and even a few lute players to entertain the guests while they dined
Loki even had a special tiara made for you to wear during the wedding - a simple yet elegant golden wreath tiara with diamonds and emeralds. He would've had a more extravagant design made, but every other female in his life suggested that he should choose a tiara that would suit any wedding outfit you chose
The moment he saw you, walking down the aisle in your wedding outfit, his jaw dropped. For a moment, he felt like his heart stopped and he went to Valhalla. When you approached him at the altar, he couldn't help but whisper, "You look absolutely ravishing, my dear…My Queen."
After bringing his hand to your lips, he would recite his vows to you
"I, Loki, prince of Asgard, Odinson, the rightful king of Jotunheim, God of Mischief, do hereby pledge to you my undying fidelity. I promise to always keep you safe, to keep you happy, and to keep you loved. You are my everything, and I will never ever stop fighting for us, wherever our journey may take us. And I swear on all that I hold dear in this life, that I shall never betray you, nor let anyone, man or god alike, take you from me. For as long as I live, you will be my wife and my lover."
Possible first dance song: "The Only Exception" by Paramore
Wedding superlative: Most likely to instigate a brawl between two people at his wedding (and do nothing to stop it)
Bill Hazeldine from Suburban Shootout
On his wedding day to you, Bill Hazeldine would wake up, giddy as a schoolboy (after being unable to sleep last night until he called you on his mobile). His parents would giggle while he darts about, getting ready at a pace never seen before.
It was no secret that Bill was excited about marrying you. He spent weeks planning the perfect way to propose to you, visiting at least six different jewelry stores for the perfect ring and seeking your entire family's permission two weeks prior. And the night he proposed to you, he surprised you with a homemade attempt of your favorite dessert and your favorite film before presenting the ring to you.
And of course, you said yes, much to Bill's immense delight. Finally, he would be starting a life with the you, the person whom he loved the most. He would be marrying someone who loved him for who he was and made him feel like he was capable of anything.
When it came to the wedding, Bill would be critical of every single thing about himself, bugging his parents and his best man with questions
"Is this enough cologne? My tie, is it too short? Please, I don't want her to be disappointed."
"Bill, she loves you," his mother assures him. "She's marrying you. She wants to spend the rest of her life with you. Now stop fretting. You'll sweat through your suit."
After about a thousand assurances and countless intrusive thoughts, Bill would be nearly bouncing on the balls of his feet while waiting at the altar.
But as soon as he saw you, coming down the aisle, all of those thoughts would disappear. All Bill would be able to think of is how gorgeous you are, and how he's going to marry you in front of the whole world.
Your first dance song would almost 100% be "Wedding Bell Blues" by The Fifth Dimension. It was his mother's choice, and once you heard the lyrics, you couldn't help but approve (seriously, if you haven't heard this song before, look up the lyrics because it's about marrying a guy named Bill)
Also, someone would probably need to make sure that Jewel Diamond doesn't show up and seize the microphone to sing "Part Time Lover" or "Like a Virgin" at the reception. But if that's taken care of, you and Bill will probably have a great time celebrating with your family and friends.
Wedding superlative: Most likely to cry when he sees his bride walk down the aisle
Caius Marcius Coriolanus from Coriolanus
On his wedding day to you, Caius Marcius Coriolanus would put on his armor and his military regalia as if he were going to lead a campaign. His mother insisted that it would make him look distinguished, and send a message that his bride - and their family - ought to treat him with respect.
Many of his army men and his comrades would be in attendance, some of them even bearing gifts. They all knew of Coriolanus's feelings for you, teasing the general of how reluctant he was to approach you when he saw you for the first time and Cupid struck
But instead of rudely telling them all to shut up as usual, Coriolanus would bear it with gritted silence because deep down, it was all true. Coriolanus deeply loved you, and would never wish to live without you or hurt you in any way.
Too proud to be caught smiling in public, Coriolanus would simply let his eyes speak his adoration for you when you entered the temple of Mars, dressed in fine robes and jewelry with a veil over your head.
His eyes darkened with lust when you came closer to him. And in that moment, all he wanted was for the priest to hurry up and stop talking so he could kiss you, claiming you before everyone as his wife
After the ceremony came to an end, Coriolanus would keep one hand on the small of your back, determined to keep you close to him while he musters small talk with the guests…and insults some of them.
At some point, perhaps at sundown, he would cut his conversations short and bid his in-laws good night. Tightening his grip around you, Coriolanus would bring you to his home as fast as possible so he could finally drop his guard and…privately celebrate your union
Wedding superlative: Most likely to get into a fight at his own wedding
Jonathan Pine from The Night Manager
On his wedding day, Jonathan Pine would be extra vigilant, keeping an eagle eye for anything that might go wrong.
While you were getting ready, he would be pacing along the oceanside and through the rows of seats for a possible threat, or someone who could be smuggling a weapon. Even after Angela Burr assured him that no one knew about his wedding except for the few people in attendance, he would still insist that someone keep a tab on you and give him constant updates while you were getting ready.
Jonathan had already loved and lost someone, and he would never forgive himself if someone took his bride away from him.
Until he saw you, he would not be able to let himself rest for a moment, rubbing the nape of his neck while pacing, adjusting his cufflinks (which happened to be the ones you gifted him for Christmas), and thinking of every single way that someone could sabotage this special day
And the moment you came down the aisle in your beautiful wedding gown, Jonathan would breathe a sigh of relief and beam with pride. At that instant, the only thought in his mind when he looks at you would be how amazing and how happy you look while you approached him. And how every moment leading up to this one was definitely worth it. Nothing would be able to hold a candle to the first time he got to see you as the one he, Jonathan Pine, was going to marry.
Holding your hand, Jonathan would quietly say his vows, knowing that he had already made every single vow to himself when he proposed to you. That in his mind, he had already promised to love you through thick and thin, in good times and bad times, even when the two of you would be miles apart. You would be the one he fights for and stays alive for, every single time.
Possible first dance song: "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls or "The Way You Look Tonight" by Frank Sinatra (Or "Shakespeare" by Miranda Cosgrove)
Wedding superlative: Most likely to have a destination honeymoon
Robert Laing from High-Rise
On his wedding day with you, Dr. Robert Laing would be thinking of nothing but you, simply put.
("Ruhi, come now…" "You know what, Robert? Somebody had to say it.")
When Robert originally moved into the high rise, he was disillusioned with the thought of being involved with other people. He wanted to be alone, nothing more. But now, three years after that day? He couldn't picture a day without seeing you, without indulging in your witty banter, without giving you a kiss before going off to the medical school, or without you simply calling his name. It had to be magic of some kind, an enchantment Robert couldn't quite explain with all of his scientific knowledge.
And that's how Robert Laing, a doctor of physiology who lived on the twenty-fifth floor of the high rise, let himself fall in love you and share his life with you.
Sure, Wilder and a few other guys in the high-rise would be pouring drinks and making crude jokes about Robert finally getting a 'ball and a chain' but Robert knew better. You wouldn't be a ball and a chain to him, but rather an angel.
With you by his side, Robert could begin a new life at the high rise, one where he wouldn't have to be alone. A life of comfort where he could come home to someone who would care for him, and a life where he would have someone to cherish and protect. It would be a new life with a new purpose, all thanks to you
So when he saw you in your wedding dress for the first time, he couldn't help but stare. You looked like an absolute dream, so radiant and so gorgeous.
He'd continue to steal glances throughout the ceremony, even while reciting his vows. And when the officiant finally says "you may now kiss your bride", Robert would put one hand around your waist and use his other hand to cradle the back of your head, passionately capturing your lips with his
Possible first dance song: "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You" by Frankie Valli
Wedding superlative: Most likely to burn the dance floor at his own wedding (and get quite tipsy in the process)
Second wedding superlative: Most likely to eat more cake than the bride
Magnus Martinsson from Wallander
On his wedding day to you, Magnus Martinsson would be one of those grooms who makes snarky jokes about his life being "over" but is secretly freaking out on the inside
It wasn't helpful that his colleagues at the station kept making jokes about him being 'tied down' and how you were way out of his league.
Magnus would find himself in a downward spiral of thoughts about the kind of husband he'd be, and whether you really were making the right choice in marrying him when you could have better.
His comments might get so bad that even Kurt Wallander would have to intervene and tell him to stop unless he wanted to hurt his bride
Wallander would take Magnus aside and assure him that there are many great things about marriage, and that he is lucky to be spending his life with someone like you. That most men, especially those who joke about marriage being the 'end of their life', would desperately want to find someone who loves them as much as you love Magnus
With those words, Magnus would calm down, fix his curls, and go to the altar to wait for you. And as soon as he saw you walk down the aisle, he would realize how right Kurt was. That he, Magnus Martinsson, was the luckiest man in the world because he was going to marry you. That all of those jokes were false, and the only thing that mattered was how much you loved each other
Magnus might not choose to write his own vows, sticking with the traditional "in sickness and in health, till death do us part", but he would be sure to tell you how much he loved you throughout the wedding
Possible first dance song: "My Girl," by The Temptations
Wedding superlative: Most likely to show up to his own wedding completely hungover
Oakley from Unrelated
On his wedding day to you, Oakley would be the most chill groom ever. Seriously, anything could happen and he'd be the one reminding everyone to calm down. The rings are missing? Don't worry, they'll turn up anyway.
His chill attitude also means that he would be perfectly fine in getting married while wearing a t-shirt and cargo pants. Somebody might need to drag this cocky handsome bastard into a suit, reminding him it's his goddamn wedding day, not some picnic
Oakley really isn't a fan of formal wear, especially anything that requires a tie
He would probably be joking around with his friends, having a smoke during the hour before the ceremony.
He wouldn't even be freaking out about the fact that he'll soon be a married man because…this is exactly what he wanted the minute he fell in love with you. He knew that he needed you in his life, that you were the one he wanted to love for the rest of his days, and that the best thing to do was to tell you exactly that… before asking you to marry him
And the moment he saw you standing in your wedding dress for the first time, all of those memories left his mind and the only thing that Oakley could think about…was how he would never forget this moment. And that if the world were to end tomorrow, he would be the luckiest guy on the planet just because he would get to call you - this gorgeous, funny, and kind person standing before him - his wife.
Also, Oakley would totally be the type to make his wedding kiss with you totally epic, either picking you up and spinning you around, or turn it into a dip and kiss (which looks something like this)
Possible first dance song: "Teenage Dream" by Boyce Avenue or "Lucky," by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat
Wedding superlative: Most likely to get drunk during his own wedding and say something extremely inappropriate
Thomas Sharpe from Crimson Peak
On his wedding day to you, Thomas Sharpe would have every detail in its perfect place. From the flowers to the organ playing the wedding march to the seating arrangement, every single thing would be immaculately arranged to your liking.
He would play the part of a doting groom very effectively, almost ignoring Lucille most of the time in favor of talking to your family members. He'd play with the little ones, laugh at your father's attempts at humor, and assure your mother that her child will lack nothing in their marriage
The moment you entered the chapel, a warm smile would spread across Thomas's face and his face would light up as if the in the world darkness was finally gone for good.
As if you were made of glass, he would carefully take your hand in his and lead you to the altar, kneeling before the priest.
Then, Thomas would make his vows to be with you in sickness and in health, till death do you part, and kiss you slowly, savoring this moment of purity.
After the ceremony, Thomas would lead you in a waltz - your first dance as husband and wife - with a pace so swift yet so delicate that it would not extinguish a candle
At a specific moment, when the guests are dining, Thomas would lightly tap on his glass with a fork to get everyone's attention.
"On behalf of the Sharpe household, I would like to thank you all for attending this lovely occasion. I could not be more happier than to be marrying the lady seated right here," Thomas would gesture to you with a proud smile. "She is truly a blessing, and until death parts us, I promise to hold her close and to treasure her always. May our days together be filled with happiness and joy."
Wedding superlative: Most likely to have an eloquent wedding toast that makes everyone go "Awww"
James Conrad from Kong: Skull Island
On his wedding day to you, Captain James Conrad would be silent to almost everyone before the ceremony, pretending to be completely calm about his impending nuptials. But his dark circles and his red eyes wouldn't fool anyone; it would be pretty clear that he hadn't sleeping so well lately
Actually, after he'd finally left Skull Island and settled in the United Kingdom, James had been dealing with nightmares about Kong and other terrifying creatures he'd encountered. Eventually, Preston Packard and Mason Weaver coaxed him to start seeing a professional about his nightmares and traumatic flashbacks.
That's how James Conrad gained the courage and the hope to start a relationship with you, the beautiful neighbor who lived a few doors from his flat. And now, nearly two years after your first date, he proposed, you and James moved in together, and you were getting married.
James could not have been happier about your union, but the past week leading up to the wedding had been tough.
The two of you thought it might be good to have a little separation before the ceremony, and James thought it would make the wedding sweeter, so you agreed to sleep over at a friend's place.
James found himself deeply missing your touch (and your cuddles - shh, don't tell anyone I told you) and many of the nightmares from his past returned. So after talking to you on the telephone every night, he would hold one of your sweaters like a security blanket while trying to lull himself sleep
When he finally saw you coming to the altar in your wedding gown, it felt like he'd been underwater for hours and was finally coming up for fresh air. From now on, he would never have to sleep alone, or face anything all by himself. Whatever happens, if he ever has to return to Skull Island in his dreams or in real life, he would have you by his side.
He'd be grinning the whole time from ear to ear, just enjoying the moment with you, and would always have his arm around you. Whenever James wasn't trying to stifle a yawn, he would be holding you close and stealing kisses, much to the amusement of everyone else around him.
Possible First Dance song: "Can't Help Falling in Love with You" by Elvis Presley
Wedding superlative: Most likely to never let anyone else dance with his bride because he gets jealous
Jaguar Villain!Tom Hiddleston
On his wedding day to you, Thomas would be dressed to the nines and poised like a prince, wearing a sharp three-piece suit (with a pistol concealed in his jacket) and Dolce and Gabbana citrus cologne
To him, this wedding was not unlike any other important engagement. A place where deals could be made and broken, offers could be extended and retracted, and alliances could be tested
Therefore, only the best of decorations could be present. The cake and the champagne had to be of the utmost quality (no cheap, off-brand liquor allowed), and the floral arrangements needed to be elegant enough for royalty
It would also be an opportunity for Thomas to reward his those closest to him in his inner circle; by inviting them, wining and dining them with a gourmet meal, he could reward their loyalty while also keeping them near should they try anything suspicious.
But none of that would apply to you. No, Thomas may be emotionless and calculating in matters of business, even at his own wedding, but you were not to take part in any of it. In fact, your innocence was one of the reasons why Thomas was so attracted to you. You gave him something worth living for, something that was worth defending and protecting. He could not afford to corrupt you with his dirty world of schemes and plots
During the wedding, Thomas would be your Prince Charming (like always), making sure that you were comfortable.
He would hold your hand and tell you how beautiful you looked whenever you got nervous. If you were hungry, he'd make sure that a plate of food was brought to you. And if someone dared to make you uncomfortable on your special day? They had better prepared to have the living daylights pounded out of them.
Also, Thomas would never admit this to you until possibly years after your wedding to him, but he secretly bribed the person who showed you your wedding dresses to only show you designs that he approved of. He knew that you would look stunning in anything you wore, but he always liked to be the one in charge
Possible first dance song: "Fly Me to The Moon," by Frank Sinatra or "Stand By Me" by Ben E. King
Wedding superlative: Most likely to carry out a murder at their wedding

For All Time, It Was Always You
Chapter 2: Mrs. Laufeyson
A/N: Thank you everyone for all of your positive comments! I really appreciate it, and hope you'll like this little continuation from the suburbs AU inspired partly by Wandavision.
Summary: After Loki leaves for work, you explore your new house and try to fit in with this world that feels too perfect to be real.
Pairing: Loki x Wife!Reader
Warnings: None really. Talk about 'traditional' gender roles. A surprise cameo. And silliness.
You waved goodbye, standing at the doorway as a black Chevrolet Bel Air departed from the house with Loki in the driver's seat. And like the doting wife that he thought you were, you blew a kiss in his direction.
When the car disappeared from your line of sight, you meandered into the sea green kitchen and filled a steel kettle with water, letting it sit on the stove the way a hen sat on her eggs. While the kettle grew hot, you searched the cabinets for tea bags,…and anything else that might help you understand this new, suburban world. A world in which you were the newlywed wife of a TVA employee who shared a name with the Norse God of Mischief.
Next to a box of Earl Grey Tea was an entire section of the cabinet dedicated to biscuits of various brands and flavors: chocolate Hobnobs, Jaffa cakes, McVitie's digestive biscuits, shortbread, Bourbon cookies, and Oreos. At least three, unopened tubes of Oreo cookies. Were all of these sweet treats for you, or for your - you couldn't believe you were actually using this word - husband?
With a shrug, you grabbed a tube of the Oreo cookies, ripped it open and started eating them one by one. Holding the blue wrapper in one hand, you continued searching through the other kitchen cabinets.
You found nothing but flour, brown sugar, white sugar, spices, marmite, extra virgin olive oil…, and two jars of strawberry jam from the same brand for some reason. And then, something next to a box of spaghetti caught your eye. A cookbook, with various pages dog-eared, titled Delicious Recipes For All Time, Always.
You blinked, carefully taking the book from the shelf. For All Time, Always? That's a weird title to call a cookbook…, a vague title as well. Inside the cover was a handwritten note, scribbled in blue pen.
The way to a man's heart is through his stomach. Congratulations on the wedding, Mrs. Laufeyson! Loki's a lucky guy.
-Mobius M. Mobius
So that's who Loki was talking about at breakfast. He mentioned cancelling plans with someone named 'Mobius'. Someone who was making him watch tedious videos at work today.
Jumping to the dog-eared pages of the cookbook, you came across various recipes: poached eggs, blueberry pancakes, macaroni and cheese, spaghetti bolognese, green bean casserole, Cumberbatch pie, curried chickpeas in coconut milk, angel food cake with strawberries and cream, chocolate mayonnaise cake…
Whiiiiiiieeee!
You whipped your head over your shoulder and immediately silenced the kettle's whistle, turning off the stove. Damnit, you went looking for tea bags and found yourself exploring everything except tea bags. Shaking your head, you shoved an Oreo into your mouth and opened the box of Earl Grey tea bags.
Then, you opened a cabinet filled with plates, bowls, and cups, grabbing a white ceramic mug for your tea bag. On the top shelf of the cabinet was a pastel blue gift box. While the tea bag steeped in hot water, you reached for the box using a chair as a makeshift stepping stool. Inside the gift box were two mugs labeled 'Mr.' and 'Mrs.' in gold calligraphy And like the cookbook, there was a handwritten note as well.
For all the mornings you'll have together. Congratulations to you both, Mr. and Mrs. Laufeyson! May the years ahead be filled with lasting love and happiness.
-Jeremy, Joyce, and Bill Hazeldine
With a gasp, you quickly closed the box and put it back on the shelf…only to open the box, taking another peek at the note. Mrs. Laufeyson...you underlined those words with your fingertip. Taking a deep breath, you put the box back on the shelf for good, promising to never use those mugs unless you were with Loki.
By this point, the tea was hot enough to be enjoyed but not scalding that it would burn your throat. You took a sip, relaxing in its warmth, holding the mug with both hands. "Mrs. Laufeyson", you repeated to yourself. You looked down at your left hand, the emerald ring still on your middle finger just the same way it was this morning.
After you finished drinking your tea and scarfing down the rest of the Oreo cookies in the container, you wandered into the living room. It was just across from the kitchen, a pastel yellow room with white bookshelves containing all kinds of hardcover and paper cover works. One would probably need an entire decade just to finish reading all the books kept inside the living room. You tilted your head and wondered which of the books were your husband's choice. But before you could sit down on one of the couches, you heard the doorbell ring.
"Who is it?" You asked, fixing your hair.
A light, female voice came from outside. "It's Joyce!" As you made your way to the front door, you caught a glimpse of yourself in mirror hanging in the hallway. Your hair was miraculously styled, and you were wearing a cute set of pajamas…It almost made you stand still for a moment just so you could admire how desirable you looked. No wonder your husband was so lovey-dovey this morning.
The doorbell rang again. Putting on your best smile, you dragged your feet towards the door and opened it.
Standing outside was a thin, middle-aged woman -presumably Joyce - with a bowl cut hairstyle, wearing a light blue shirt and straight-leg jeans. "Oh hello, dear. So good to see you again!" She gave you a warm smile and a hug, rocking you in her arms.
"Good to see you too, Joyce." You politely reciprocated her hug and let out a small laugh. "Thank you again for the mugs, they're lovely."
Joyce placed her hands on your arms for a moment, looking up at you. "I haven't seen you both since you came back from your honeymoon. Oh, look at you…" She marveled, "Married life seems to be treating you well."
"Thank you so much," you looked down, deciding to be as demure as possible, hoping they wouldn't ask too many questions about the honeymoon. "I…I couldn't be happier, Loki is so sweet to me." When your eyes met Joyce's, you touched the back of your neck. "I…He makes me feel like the luckiest lady in the world, Joyce."
Joyce quietly laughed with you. "You remember my son Bill, right?" Towering over Joyce was a lanky teenage boy with golden curls, blue eyes, and the face of an angel. He wore a grey t-shirt, worn-out jeans, and beat-up sneakers.
You reached out to shake his hand. "Of course I do," you lied. "Hi, Bill."
"Afternoon, Mrs. Laufeyson." Bill greeted you with a smile that could make London light up during a blackout. "Congratulations again."
"Thank you." You placed your left hand on your heart, showing off your wedding ring just a little. "How are you, Bill?"
"I'm alright, thank you." Bill nodded. "I've been working with the church, teaching Sunday school. Thought it'd be a nice way to spend my summer after my first year of college."
"That's very thoughtful of you."
"Thank you. I thought it would be good for my theology course to do something like that," Bill admitted before reaching into one of his jean pockets, procuring a small blue velvet box. "Actually, I have something for you, Mrs. Laufeyson."
You covered your mouth in disbelief. "Oh, Bill…"
"Please, take it." He extended the box to you. "I bought it for my former-girlfriend Jewel." Blinking, you gingerly accepted it, running your finger along the lid. "Former girlfriend…You broke up with her?"
Joyce intervened, "He had to do it, dear. She was nothing but trouble."
"I'm so sorry."
"No, I'm sorry." Bill shook his head. "I bought it for her a long time ago, but I suppose it was never meant to last. But, I really want to give it to someone. Please, consider it a belated wedding gift, Mrs. Laufeyson."
You smiled, opening the box to find a sterling silver bracelet. Simple, yet elegant. "Thank you, Bill. I'll treasure it. If you ever want to talk, or just stop by for some tea, the door will always be open for you."
"Thanks, Mrs. Laufeyson," he graciously said. "And I hope Jewel finds someone else who'll make her happy."
The three of you stood quietly outside your house before you spoke up. "Joyce, would you and Bill like to come inside for some tea?"
"Not today, dear. I'm so sorry, Bill's coming with me to do some errands. And I'm sure you might need to catch up on some sleep after such a busy honeymoon." Joyce teased you a little with the last bit. "Might only be a matter of time before you and Loki get a visit from the stork."
You laughed, looking down again. You remembered how Loki hugged you from behind this morning and teased you with the idea of "finishing what you started on the honeymoon". Almost instinctively, your free hand rested on your stomach.
"We should have dinner sometime, Loki and I would love to have you over, we can catch up," you blurted. Joyce enthusiastically agreed and said she and her husband would love that.
"Tomorrow night," Joyce promised. "Would seven-thirty be alright?"
"Absolutely!" You nodded, already imagining how to tell Loki when he came home from work. "I'll see you tomorrow then?"
"See you tomorrow." Joyce and Bill waved goodbye as they climbed into their car and drove off.
Something ached inside you as you watched them drive off, maybe because it reminded you of the way that Loki drove off this morning while you stood at the doorway waving goodbye. As you closed the door once again, you pondered over going out tomorrow, even if it was just something as small as a mid-morning stroll while Loki was out. But for now, there were other things that needed to be done.

(Author's note: I know that King Henry the V and Prince Hal are technically the same guy, and that there's three different headcanons for Loki. It's because I think that as one matures, their tastes change a little. So I think they might want different things when it comes to a first date)
Will Ransome from The Essex Serpent
A long walk along the outskirts of town
A date with Will Ransome would begin with the two of you meeting after Sunday morning mass. He would put in some effort to make sure his hair was properly combed, his face was properly shaved, and his clothing was properly washed before arriving to church just to make a good impression.
After meeting you, he would lead you to the outskirts of the town, possibly near the beach where there aren't many noisy bystanders to interrupt the two of you. He would talk to you about almost anything you wished, from books you've read to things that happened to you in the past week. Hours would pass without your knowledge. And if you were ever cold, Will would graciously remove his jacket and drape it over your shoulders.
King Henry V from The Hollow Crown
Chess and poetry over wine
A date with King Henry V would begin with you being cordially invited to the palace at sundown, perhaps after all of his meetings have concluded. A guard would lead you to a special room within the palace where Henry would be waiting for you.
"Ah, thee've cometh!" He would stand up with a wide grin as soon as you arrived at the door. "I desire i has't not hath kept thee waiting f'r too longeth. Thee behold lovely tonight, the candlelight doest thy beauty nay justice."
(Translation: "Ah, you've come! I hope I have not kept you waiting for too long. You look lovely tonight, the candlelight does your beauty no justice.")
After gesturing for you to be seated, Henry would sit across the table from you and have some wine poured for the both of you. Then, he would offer to play a game of chess with you. If you do not know how to play, then he would gladly teach you the rules and the objectives. He's a fairly good player himself, but he will likely let you win because to him, it's chivalrous, and also because he wants to keep you in a good mood.
And if there are no interruptions throughout the night, Henry would recite to you a few romantic poems and sonnets, hoping that you'll blush. He would end the date with letting you spend the night in the castle since he does not want you to travel during the late hours. You would get your own separate chamber and a carriage to take you home in the morning. And a sincere kiss from the King of England, thanking you for your company.
Prince Hal from The Hollow Crown
Horseback Riding and Drinks at a Tavern
A date with Prince Hal would begin with him meeting you outside the gates of the palace. He would proudly kiss your hand before telling you he has a surprise in mind. Intrigued, you follow him to the royal stables and mount one of the stallions.
The two of you would ride together, leaving the palace from the back gateway, towards the town. There, you would stop at one of Hal's favorite taverns. He would help you off your horse and sneak inside so no one would recognize either of you. Then, he would smuggle you a cup of his favorite ale, along with a cup for himself.
"Aye, t tastes awful at first. But thee'll receiveth hath used to t - stolen ale at each moment tastes the sweetest."
(Translation: "Yes, it tastes awful at first. But you'll get used to it - stolen ale always tastes the sweetest.")
Hal would make raucous jokes and indulge in some shenanigans solely to impress you. And if anyone were to look at you in the wrong way or foolishly make a move on you, Hal would knock them out with a few solid punches. At the end of the evening, Hal would make sure you reached home safely (he has a high tolerance) and courteously kiss you good night…but not without profusely thanking you for a fun time.
Prince Loki of Asgard from Thor
A walk through the gardens, and stargazing
A date with the younger prince of Asgard would begin with the two of you taking a stroll through the gardens at sunset. Eager to impress you, Loki would tell you the names of the flowers he knew and would enchant some of them to change color or shape at will. Perhaps he would even enchant a flower crown for you to wear while you walked together.
When night fell, Loki would guide you to a place in the gardens that had the best view of the sky. He'd conjure a blanket for the two of you to share while you gazed at the various constellations and planets.
"You see that one right there?" Loki points to one of the brightest stars in the sky. "That one is Leidarstjarna, which Midgardians might call the North Star. Since it's always in the north, sailors there would use it as a form of navigation. And that one…" Loki chuckles, turning his attention to another, even brighter star. "That one is the result of a torch I conjured out of thin air."
Since Loki would be a bit shy on the first date, unsure of how you would feel about him, you might be the one to kiss Loki goodnight first before he happily reciprocates the gesture. He would arrange for a carriage to take you home, before writing a letter the next day expressing how much he truly enjoyed spending time with you. And the letter would be delivered to you with a shapeshifting flower.
Loki, leader of the Chitauri, from The Avengers
Fine dining at a Michelin-star restaurant (but with a twist)
A date with Loki would begin after one of his triumphs on Midgard, like getting everyone at Times Square to kneel or gaining control of London's traffic (if that ever happened). He would spot you among a crowd of Midgardians and take an instant liking towards you.
Once he had his fun, bringing the place to its knees and relishing full control, Loki would shift into the form of a peasant an ordinary citizen. (Think of the suit with the special scarf). He would approach you when you're alone, carrying his scepter in one hand.
"You have nothing to fear, pet," Loki calmly spoke. "I only wish to get to know you. If you give me what I ask for, I promise not to hurt you. All I ask is one evening of your company. Surely you could do that for your leader?"
Once you'd accepted his offer, Loki would lead you towards a glamorous building in the city. From the corner of his eye, he saw a well-dressed man eating with a woman inside the building, and figured that he ought to do something similar with you. You told him it was one of the most famous fine dining establishments in your city.
Once the two of you were inside, Loki summoned his scepter (containing the Mind stone) and used it to coerce the maître d' into giving you two the best seats in the restaurant and the finest entrées for free.
Loki would find himself picking at the food and ocassionally during the dinner, he would clutch his forehead with a strange stinging pain. He would never tell you what it was, but he would know it was the effect of Thanos controlling his mind. However, Loki would be surprisingly civil with you, letting you do most of the talking.
The date would end with Loki giving you a passionate, kiss, cupping both of your cheeks and savoring the taste of your lips. As you walked away, after he bade you good night, Loki watched you leave. He swore to himself that he would never forget you. And that when all of the battles were over and Midgard was finally his, he would come back for you.
Loki, rightful king of Asgard and Jotunheim, from Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok
Spending time at a Midgardian bookstore, with dessert afterward
A date with Loki would begin with the two of you going to one of your favorite bookstores. The two of you would show each other passages from books that you liked, books that made you cringe, and books that made you emotional. Loki would ask you about modern literature, and anything else he wants to know about 'Midgardian cultures'.
"What's so special about this William Shakespeare? I know he wrote a little tragedy about two teenagers, but he cannot be famous just for that."
"He wrote many plays - comedies, tragedies, and histories as well." You pass him a book titled 'Hamlet'. "It isn't my personal favorite, but it's quite famous."
Loki pages through the book, his eyes widening from time to time. After a while, he closes it. "Ophelia deserves better, and most of the men in this story are awful beings."
And since I believe that Loki has a large sweet tooth, he would definitely want to try out the pastries that Midgard has to offer. Depending on the shop, Loki would order a selection of sweets (pistachio baklava, strawberry cream pastries, opera cake, I've got a whole list of delicacies he might like) and enjoy it when you feed him a few bites. (Yes, he might consider the whole 'feeding each other' to be too cliché and cheesy, but he would love it as a form of intimacy.)
Bill Hazeldine from Suburban Shootout
Milkshakes at a diner
A date with Bill Hazeldine would begin with him borrowing his parents' car to pick you up from your place. Out of politeness, he would make small talk with your family if they were around. Bill is chivalrous; he would open the car door for you, close it for you, and make sure you were okay in the car.
(Random addition: Bill would go all the way to impress his date, especially if it was his first date with them. He would use hair product, a new cologne that he bought after seeing a television advertisement for it, and a face cream that some actor called his 'go-to product'.)
Bill would take you to a greasy spoon/diner outside Little Stempington, one of the popular ones frequented by young couples. After the two of you have been seated and have placed your orders, Bill would ask you icebreaker questions (some of which were probably suggested by his dad) like "Do you have any celebrity crushes or fantasies? (you both had a good laugh over that one) and "What's the one movie you could never get tired of seeing?"
If you were interested, Bill would be eager to share a milkshake with you, using two straws just like lovebirds in movies. (His favorite flavor? Neapolitan or Banana Split) And when you're not looking, Bill would sneak a few coins into the jukebox just to play a song performed by your favorite band/artist.
"Oh my goodness!" You exclaimed with a big smile as soon as you realized what was playing. "I love this song!"
Bill proudly grinned. "Yeah, I had the jukebox play it for you."
"Bill, that's so sweet of you." You kissed his cheek, causing him to blush furiously.
"Maybe it could be our song, in honour of this date."
The date would end with Bill dropping you off at home at a reasonable hour, like 9:30 PM. He would kiss your hand, bid you (and your family) good night, and then leave you a small voice message telling you how much he enjoyed the date. Maybe you'll have a walk in the park next time, or a movie date.
Caius Marcius Coriolanus from the play Coriolanus
Home-cooked dinner with serious conversations
A date (or rather an evening of courting) would begin with him going to your home (or you going to his place) for a vesperna (a light supper). After both of you had freshened up, the servants would pour some wine for you and offer some olives, cheese, and salted fish as an appetizer.
Coriolanus would eat slowly, taking a long time before he breaks the silence. He is a man of few words, and does not see the point in unnecessary conversation. However at some point - perhaps when the prima mensa (main course) arrives - he would ask you about your background, your education, and your beliefs. He would listen to everything, and offer his own opinions when necessary. And when the secunda mensa (second main course, usually dessert) was served, Coriolanus would excuse himself from the table…only to return with something else.
"A present for you, my lady." Coriolanus extended his hand across the table, revealing a diamond pendant with a gold chain in his palm.
"I couldn't…this is far too much, General."
Coriolanus rose from his chair and clasped the pendant around your neck. "It complements you well. And I believe you have earned it - not once did you show impoliteness or crude etiquette. I would…I…I want…"
"What do you want, General?"
"I want you to call me Caius" His fingers found their way to the ends of your hair. "And I want…I want to see you again."
The evening would end with Coriolanus personally escorting you home (or leaving your home before it got too late, so as not to rouse any suspicion) and promising another supper with you.

Champagne for My Real Friends, Real Pain For My Sham Friends
Pairings: Rory Slippery (from Fortysomething) x Reader, Bill Hazeldine (from Suburban Shootout) x Reader
Summary: A first-year medical student at the University of Surrey, you move into a uni house and meet your new flatmates Bill Hazeldine and Rory Slippery
"Yes, mum. I've just pulled up in front of the building," you spoke, precariously holding the phone with one hand while you parked your second-hand car with the other. The car, a dark grey 1990 Honda Accord, a graduation present given to you by your parents, with the idea that you'd be able to be much more independent driving to uni rather than relying on public transport. Of course, it was also a convenient way to get rid of a car they'd been hoping to replace with a much newer, more fuel efficient model. That aside, you were sure that it would make you a bit cooler around campus, not that it truly mattered anyways. "I'll call you again when I'm settled. I love you, Mum."
After exiting the vehicle, and locking it, you opened the door to your uni house for the first time. "Eee!" A rat scurried past you, and a chill ran down your spine. You might need to call someone to deal with that…very soon. With a long look up the wooden stairs, to where the bedrooms were supposed to be, you took a deep breath and picked up one of the three keys laying on a countertop.
To say the house needed some work was a slight understatement. The kitchen sink was leaking like a salivating dog, the faded pastel wallpaper in the living room was peeling near the edges, the furniture was clouded with a coat of dust, and to top it off, the gilded '221' on the door was half-covered in dark rust . No wonder this house was one of the cheapest near campus.
Within one hour filled with heaving, panting, and thankfully no more mice, you were able to get all of your boxes into your room within the uni house. Compared to the rest of the house, the room that you chose had a pale blue paint on the walls, and it vaguely matched the color of the bedsheets you brought with you. The mattress, which was lodged against a large window with one large crack (heaven knows where that came from…some Romeo throwing pebbles?), was relatively stainless though yellow from age.
You unpacked the boombox among your things and filed through the box containing your CDs. Selecting a random one, you let the music play through the house while you dueled with fitted sheets and fought with a bedskirt (why do those even exist??).
"Finally!" You exclaimed with relief, falling back onto the bed after setting it up for the first time. Unpacking the rest of your things wouldn't be so hard, now that the bed was set up. Plus…now you could always take a nap if you were tired. Just then, from a distance, you heard the sound of two people - a middle-aged woman and a man - talking quickly. The door opened with a creak, and was followed by the sounds of their footsteps.
You stealthily left your room, trying to make as little noise as possible with each step. A tall, lanky, boy with dark blonde curls carried a box overflowing with books into the home while the middle-aged woman and man (presumably his parents) could be heard inspecting the house.
"Jeremy, I can't believe the condition of this living room," the woman - slender with a bowl-cut, a few wrinkles upon her face - commented with dismay. She stood near the seemingly rickety, dusty coffee table positioned in front of a small television with a flimsy-looking antenna. You swore she blushed just a tiny bit when she came across a worn-out copy of A Savage Adoration, published by Mills and Boon, hidden under a small ashtray found on the coffee table.
"It'll be a good experience, Joyce," the man peeked from behind a fridge. "I remember my uni house being in worse shape than this…" He didn't seem much taller than the woman, though definitely a bit more stout.
"Hello?" You cautiously asked, introducing yourself as one of the students living in this house for the academic term.
"Oh, you've moved in already?" Joyce's face lit up when she heard who you were. She tentatively came towards you, and looked around the house. "Bill, come say hello to your new flatmate."
You and Bill, the lanky boy with blonde curls you saw earlier, shook hands and exchanged names. His palms were sweaty and his eyes were a mixture of blue and grey, like the sky during a thunderstorm.
"Looks like you'll get your first taste of living among the ladies." Jeremy chuckled, watching his boy reluctantly extend his hand. "Good practice for when you're married."
"Bill, make sure you call every day," Joyce instructed Bill with a hand upon the boy's shoulder. "I want you to promise that you'll stay away from drugs, any kind of parties, or gangs."
"Joyce, our son's all grown up now. He'll be quite alright." Jack commented, and you couldn't help but smirk just a little. Bill, though he may be old enough for uni, just seemed too….baby-faced the more that you looked at him. Not that it was off-putting at all. It made Bill seem angelic and innocent, like the type who wouldn't cause trouble.
Joyce and Jack shook your hand, hugged Bill at least twice, and wished you both luck before finally driving off.
"Where's that coming from?" Bill pointed upstairs in the direction of the music that you'd briefly forgotten about. You could barely hear "Sugar We're Goin Down" playing from your bedroom.
"Oh, it's just my boombox - I put on a CD while I was setting up my bedsheets," you dismissed. "I think I've got a kettle packed somewhere, do you want a cup of tea or some coffee?"
"Tea sounds good." Bill rummaged through a cardboard box and handed you a box of Earl Grey tea packets, along with…a bag of sugar.
"You might need to find another way of storing this," you chuckled, placing the items onto the counter. The electric kettle, filled with tap water, hissed after you plugged it into the outlet. And while the water heated up, you removed the plastic covering off the box of tea bags. Just then, you and Bill heard a knock on the door.
"There's supposed to be a third person here, right?" Bill asked as the two of you shuffled towards the front.
"Yeah…Rory something."
You and Bill opened the door to find another young man with cropped brown hair and sharp cheekbones. He wore a blue and black sweater, a visible white undershirt, and worn out jeans. A pile of boxes, and a stereo were piled near his feet.
"This is…221 Dunmore Street?"
"That's the address, I believe." You pointed the number on the door.
"Where's your family?" Bill asked, lightly squinting.
"Didn't need their help." The young man shook Bill's hand "I'm Rory Slippery."
"Bil Hazeldine. Let me help you get your things." Bill rushed to carry one of Rory's boxes inside.
"Thanks." After Rory introduced himself to you, you extended your hand forward too. Instead of shaking your hand, Rory lowered his head and briefly kissed your knuckles with a little smirk.
You looked down briefly and smiled. "Wow, thanks."
"Always a pleasure."
You picked up another one of Rory's boxes and led him inside the house. "Your key's on that table over there. We've got a kettle going - do you want some tea?"
"Alright."
"The water should be done by now. Let's get all the boxes inside." You, Bill, and Rory continued to carry boxes inside the house. And just like how two of Bill's boxes were overfilled with books, two of Rory's boxes were filled with video games, sweaters, and…hair care products. You made a mental note to ask Rory about that sometime, but not yet.
Fifteen minutes later, the three of you were situated in the living room, sipping steaming mugs of Earl Grey made with the tea bags that Bill had brought. Holding his mug, Rory searched the room for the television remote. Meanwhile, you and Bill sat on a faded couch and the Mills and Boon book was being perfectly ignored on the coffee table.
"Where's everyone from?" Bill was the first to break the ice.
Rory procured the remote from a mystery corner table in the living room, and blew a cloud of dust off of it. "My parents live in Wimbledon."
"Cool! I've been to Wimbledon once. I absolutely loved it."
"That's not far from campus. Why'd you choose a uni house?" You asked, taking another sip.
"I needed my own place." Rory aimed the remote at a television and managed to turn it on. "I'm a grown man now, I need to…be mature for my age."
You raised an eyebrow.
Rory sighed. "I'm a third-year. Transferred from University of Raleigh in time for the new term."
When Bill asked why, Rory confessed that his ex-girlfriend cheated with his brother, and he couldn't put up with it. "I just don't want to come home and see his lying, sniveling coward face everyday."
After a moment of awkward silence, you asked what everyone's courses were. Rory stated that he was interested in Sociology and Bill declared that he wanted to pursue Theology.
"What about you?" Bill asked.
"BMBS," you gently said with a chuckle. "Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery."
"Cool!"
Rory piped up. "My dad's a doctor. I could introduce you to him."
"That'd be great, thank you." You nodded. "What's his speciality?"
"Not sure." Rory shrugged and took another sip.
"I'm sorry about your girlfriend."
"I'm not. She was never the one."
"Maybe you'll find someone nice here." Bill cheerfully moved closer to you and Rory, and raised his mug. "A toast to a good year at uni. A new chapter in the books of our lives that will be filled to the brim with
memories."
You and Rory silently clinked your mugs against his.

That is absolutely amazing! I love, love, love this! 🥰 I'd really like to spend Christmas now with them...
How Tom Hiddleston Characters Would Spend the Winter Holidays (Plus Presents They Would Give You)
(Disclaimer: I do not own any of these characters or images. This is just a fun listicle, not designed to offend anyone. As always, please feel free to leave comments and/or constructive criticism below. Thank you, and without any further ado, please enjoy!)
A/N: I hope you all have/have had a wonderful holidays! Wishing you all a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Characters in this listicle include: Will Ransome, King Henry V, Prince Hal, Prince Loki of Asgard, Loki of Asgard and Jotunheim, Bill Hazeldine, Caius Martius Coriolanus, Jonathan Pine, Robert Laing, Magnus Martinsson, Oakley, Thomas Sharpe, and Jaguar Villain Tom Hiddleston
Will Ransome from The Essex Serpent
• For Will, celebrating the holidays would most certainly include a special service at the church on Christmas morning. The bells would ring, inviting everyone in Aldwinter to gather. Will would read from the scriptures for all to hear. Then, the choir would perform a series of carols, and Will would sit in the pew along with the rest of the attendees. Offering you a genuine smile, he would gently hold your hand while the choir sang.
• After the service came to an end, Will would offer you his coat if you seemed cold, gently draping it around your shoulders while you walked home together. If you needed anything for the Christmas dinner or for the night
• And in the evening, Will would watch you prepare Christmas dinner for the both of you. He wouldn't know much about cooking, but he would happily stand near you and talk to you, keeping you company while you toiled. Then, he would recite a small prayer thanking
• Christmas present Will would give you? Perhaps a simple gold pendant with a small gemstone like a diamond or an emerald. After supper, he'd approach you and whisper "Happy Christmas" while placing the necklace around your neck, pushing your hair out of the way.
King Henry V from The Hollow Crown
• On Christmas morning, King Henry V would attend a special service at the church alongside you, his beloved queen.
• After the service, you and Henry would distribute alms (food, clothes, candles) among the poor citizens in the kingdom. According to the king, even the lowest are deserving of a proper Christmas
• Then, you and Henry would either take a carriage ride around the snow-laden city, waving to the citizens and wishing them a happy Christmas
• Or, you and the King of England would spend the rest of the afternoon inside your chambers, snuggled together by the fire with Henry resting his head on your lap while you caressed his auburn curls.
• Christmas present Henry would give you? A beautiful new red or blue gown with a set of gold jewelry.
Prince Hal from The Hollow Crown
• Drinks! (Shots, shots, shots, shots - alright, I'll stop and retrieve my maturity)
• But truly, Christmas would be a time for Hal to indulge in all sorts of mischief in the tavern, including snagging Falstaff's most precious stash of liquor.
• He'd dare any willing patron to outdrink him, in the process getting them to do all sorts of stupid things like sing silly bards or flirt with someone.
• By the time you found your beloved prince, he'd probably be heavily tipsy with endless amounts of energy and whisky on his breath. As soon as he saw you, he'd jubilantly hug you and kiss you on the lips.
• Christmas present Hal would give you? A small gold ring, perhaps one with a ruby, that you could wear either around your neck or around your finger
Prince Loki of Asgard from Thor:
• While Asgard doesn't celebrate Christmas per se, there would be plenty of Yule celebrations in the kingdom. As a prince and member of the royal family, Loki would be present at each of the important feasts, dressed in his signature emerald green robes and golden armor.
• He would have to listen to Odin and Thor drone about their various accomplishments - many of them brutish in nature - over the past year, entertaining the guests before the entrees could be served. But at least, Loki could entertain himself by enchanting Thor's cutlery to run away from the table, or by playing a trick that hypnotized Thor into speaking gibberish out of nowhere.
• Odin was not pleased with the amount of laughter from the guests directed at Thor
• But other than that, Loki would find reasons to enjoy the holiday season in Asgard - he would
• Yule Present that Loki would give you? A beautiful tiara embellished with emeralds and diamonds. For his rightful queen.
Loki of Asgard and Jotunheim from Avengers: Infinity War
• In the days leading up to Christmas, Loki would find himself unwillingly stuck with Thor shopping around Midgard. It turned out that Thor was part of something called "Secret Santa" with the Avengers, where each of them had to buy a present for someone randomly assigned to them. Thor was given Wanda Maximoff, so he was combing through the shopping malls around New York City to find something for her.
• "Yes, yes, buy everything on the rack," Loki sarcastically remarked while Thor eyed a rack of gift baskets filled with soaps, bath oils, and body lotions. "It's not like you have a servant to carry your bags around for you."
• "Cheer up, brother! It's the season for joy…Do you want to sit on Santa Claus's lap?"
• But there was one reason Loki always tagged along with his brother's visits to Midgard in December: you
• While Thor was hanging out with the other Avengers, Loki would visit you - especially when you had days off from work or school - at your home.
• He'd arrive at the outside of your window, holding a bouquet of poinsettias or a bag of Christmas-themed candy for you to enjoy.
• And then, you and Loki would walk hand-in-hand through the town, admiring the colorful decorations. Loki personally wouldn't have cared for them a few years ago, but seeing your face light up with adoration made his heart absolutely warm with joy.
• On Christmas day, Loki even surprised you with a horse-driven carriage ride. He proudly showed up at your place, wearing his signature green robes and golden armor, as befitting a true prince of Asgard. Loki took your hand and seated you next to him, an arm around your shoulder. At the end of the carriage ride, he sweetly kissed you on the lips and murmured, "Merry Christmas, darling."
• Present that Loki would give you? A collection of your favorite books, with hidden notes handwritten by Loki between the pages.
Bill Hazeldine from Suburban Shootout
• For Bill, Christmas is a time to be with the ones you love. He'd be happy to have you visit Little Stempington and meet his parents
• You might be a little intimidated at first, but Bill would assure you many times that his parents would like you
• You were courteous to bring his mother a box of French macarons since Bill told you his mum enjoyed French cuisine. And for his dad, you brought a bottle of liquor, which made him laugh.
• His mother thought you were a gem compared to Jewel, and his father jokingly said you were out of Bill's league ("you better hold onto this one, son. Don't let her get away.")
• After meeting his parents, Bill would take a chance to get some alone time with you in his bedroom, showing you things from his childhood - toys, trophies, rugby jerseys. You laughed and "aww'd" at the sight of one of the photos in his room; it was a one-year-old Bill wearing a nappy and crawling with a smile.
• Bill would chuckle, putting his arm around your amd stealing a kiss...only for his mother to walk in. (It didn't help that his dad loudly reminded Bill to "use protection")
• Still, you and Bill would have a lovely time with Bill's parents, getting to know each other better and helping prepare Christmas dinner for the four of you.
• Christmas gift Bill would give you: a snow globe with a waltzing couple inside it, and a silver bracelet he picked out
Coriolanus from Coriolanus
• Coriolanus was always a serious man. Even when you came into his life and he married you, he was serious - hardly indulging himself in things like wine or opium
• (The one exception was you, his darkest kryptonite. Coriolanus couldn't seem to get enough of you, holding you close whenever you were in the same room. He just had to come to you and touch you and kiss you.)
• On the morning of the festivities, Coriolanus woke you up with a long, slow kiss. "Io Saturnalia," you cooed, slowly opening your eyes.
• He'd absolutely refuse to participate in the traditions he viewed as ludicrous, such as cross-dressing and the reversal of roles. But he would be more than happy to stand at the balcony with you and watch the plebians indulge themselves in shenanigans.
• And when he got tired of watching masters serve their slaves, and people breaking all sorts of rules in various states of intoxication, Coriolanus would pepper your neck with kisses and beckon you to your shared bedroom.
• BRIEF SMUT ALERT
• Whispering sweet nothings in your ear, he'd take the opportunity to kiss you all over
• With a naughty grin, he'd place you on the bed and lift the hem of your garment up to your hips and pleasure you with his tongue.
• It was an act considered vulgar among most people, so why not do it on the day of no rules? It was Coriolanus's one and only indulgence about it
• END OF SMUT (and time for me to atone for my sins)
• Saturnalia gift Coriolanus would give you? Perhaps a small trinket - like a small statue of Venus - or a new dress that made you look like a goddess.
Jonathan Pine from The Night Manager
• Christmas was always a busy night for Jonathan, one that he would always choose to work without question. There would be lots of guests looking for rooms to stay durng their vacations, honeymoons, and holiday getaways.
• Still, he would find a way to have some alone time with you, even if it meant you visiting the front desk at 2 in the morning to see him.
• Jonathan would give you the gift he'd bought a few days ago, you would give him a set of cufflinks or a new tie for him to wear.
• Taking your hand, Jonathan would lead you to one of the hotel lounges (finding an empty suite would be highly unlikely given the amount of guests) to share a bottle of wine and some dinner, just the two of you.
• You'd both raise a glass to the holidays, and enjoy each other's company, talking about anything and everything.
• Christmas gift Jonathan would give you: A local piece of decoration from one of the local markets (like a small cowbell from Switzerland) and a box of sweets
Robert Laing from High-Rise
• Christmas with Robert Laing would most certainly include accompanying him to one of Royal's parties (parties held by the so-called "architect" of the high-rise building)
• You would get dressed up on Christmas Eve, wearing something fancy for the occasion, before Robert picked you up at your place
• At the party, the two of you would be near each other for the most part. And after a drink or two, Robert would get a bit more...flirty with you, stealing kisses from you while you conversed with the other guests and inviting you to the dance floor
• ("I've got a lovely lady on my arm," he'd tell them with a chuckle. "Can't really help it.")
• Robert would show off his dance moves, especially the ones that he knew would make you laugh. For someone who didn't laugh much, Robert sure enjoyed seeing you smile.
• And during the slow songs, Robert would melt a little on the inside when you rested your head against his chest and swayed with him.
• He'd take the opportunity to whisper, "Merry Christmas, darling....why don't you say we have a party of our own? Do a little...unwrapping before we celebrate?"
• Giggling, you would follow Robert into the bathroom -or just go to Robert's apartment - and...celebrate, just enough for the other guests to hear.
• Christmas present Robert would give you: probably something elegant Iike perfume or a gift basket of lotions, soaps and body washes.
Magnus Martinsson from Wallander
• The police station was having their own Christmas party, which was really nothing more than some alcohol and pudding
• (Wallander warned the officers not to drink too much in case there was an emergency...but who was listening?)
• Magnus brought you to the party as his date, and had an almost-protective arm around you while you mingled with his colleagues.
• After some insisting from you, he'd dance with you to some of the holiday songs playing on the radio, twirling you so you could show off your pretty red dress.
• Christmas present that Magnus would get you? A vinyl record of one of your favorite songs or recordings.
Oakley from Unrelated
• You originally thought that Oakley would be going with his family to their Italian vacation home to spend Christmas while you stayed with your family, so it was a surprise when Oakley insisted on inviting you to accompany them.
• You agreed on a compromise, that you would join Oakley for Christmas and spend New Year's with your family
• While the two of you were in Italy, Oakley took on the role of "tour guide", giving you his personal insight while he showed you around the city. (And totally not bragging about how much Italian he knows)
• And he would make sure to show off in front of you every chance he got, especially if it involved something that made you laugh
• His father seemed to like you, and for once, they thought that Oakley might finally get some maturity now that he has a wonderful lady for a girlfriend.
• On Christmas morning, Oakley would sneak into your bedroom with a panetonne for the two of you to share with coffee, expecting to be paid with kisses
• The two of you would spend the rest of the day with Oakley's friends, playing "spin the bottle", "Truth or Dare"...all while getting very, very drunk.
• Christmas present that Oakley would give you? A bottle of Italian liqueur like limoncello (that you will hopefully ask him to help you drink), a framed photo of the two of you (so you can have a "piece of him" whereever you go), and a kiss under some mistletoe
Thomas Sharpe from Crimson Peak
• After spending Christmas morning with his sister at Allerdale Hall, Thomas would go to visit you in the city.
• The two of you would enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride through the streets of London, enjoying the crisp, winter weather.
• And in the evening, Thomas would escort you to a Yuletide Ball that he and his sister- as well as your family - were invited to.
• Like a gentleman, he would pick you up from your residence, assuring your family that he would get you to the ball without any harm
• The two of you would spend the evening at the ball, waltzing in each other's arms, with Thomas praising your beauty throughout the night and whispering how he cannot wait to be your husband one day
• Christmas gift that Thomas would give you? A beautiful locket with portraits of you and him inside
Jaguar Villain!Tom Hiddleston
• Tom absolutely loves to spoil you, his lady love and his darling, even during the holidays.
• Starting in early December, he'd give the bodyguard he hired for you a Black Visa card specifically to buy anything you looked at - jewelry, shoes, designer gowns, cosmetics, special chocolates, anything
• Tom wouldn't display any overt interest in "decking the halls" or "getting into the holiday spirit" but he would certainly give his associates and henchmen Christmas or Hannukah bonuses
• And he would totally let you decorate the apartment however you pleased, even if it means coming home to a "winter wonderland" every night.
• Christmas Day would be exclusively his time with you (and he would not take no for an answer)
• In the morning, he'd wake you up with a room filled with gifts for you, and plenty of kisses with your morning tea/coffee
• Seeing the amount of presents he bought for you, you would feel a little intimidated about giving him the tie and watch you bought for him.
• But Tom would immediately love it as soon as he opened your gift, promising to wear it as often as possible.
• After spending the afternoon with you in the bedroom...thanking you for your gift, Tom would take you out for the night, giving you a chance to get dressed up for him.
• He'd reserve a fancy dinner for the two of you, having the five-star restaurant book a private room so you could enjoy your meal
• Then, the two of you would go to the theater to see either a production of The Nutcracker, or a production of Shakespeare's Henry V - whichever you preferred.
• Christmas gift that Jaguar!Tom would give you? Without a doubt, he'd buy lingerie that he believe would suit you the best, and anything else that would even seem to tickle your fancy.

She's a Lady, and I am Just a Boy
Pairing: Bill Hazeldine x Professor!Reader
Summary: On the first day of taking 'Fundamentals of Shakespeare' at university, Bill Hazeldine finds himself developing a serious crush on you, his drama professor
Today was your first day as a professor of drama, and a member of faculty at the University College of London. That was the only reason you were here this early. For at least an hour, you rehearsed the monologue you'd chosen to perform for your students, pacing up and down the empty classroom. As a new member of faculty - it had been a mere few months since you graduated from drama school in Paris- you were assigned to teach Fundamentals of Shakespeare . It was one of the most popular courses in the drama department, yet the other drama professors mocked it. "None of them are serious - maybe one in one thousand," one of them snickered. "They just want an easy grade. Don't expect them to learn anything."
It was a terrible way to look at it. Fair enough, there might be students looking for an easy grade. Not all of them might be aspiring actors, but you had a duty as an instructor. And if you could give your students an enriching experience that they would cherish, then it would all be worth it.
"Fundamentals of Shakespeare?" A tall boy with dark golden curls knocked on the edge of the doorway. He wore white t-shirt underneath a blue plaid unbuttoned shirt, paired with worn-out jeans.
"Yes, it is. You're early." You nodded.
"I'm also Bill Hazeldine." Without missing a beat, you took a piece of chalk and wrote the words 'Fundamentals of Shakespeare' on the large blackboard. "Have a seat, Bill Hazeldine." Bill promptly sat near the front right of the classroom, retrieved a blue spiral notebook and two pencils out of his backpack.
Soon enough, the rest of the students shuffled into the classroom, and you took your first steps towards the front of the classroom. Some of them looked as if they'd rolled straight out of bed, or perhaps this was their first class of the day. Others looked as if they'd just been assigned four assignments already, and were engaged in mental time-budgeting. When the clock struck twelve, you closed the classroom door with a soft slam and turned to the class.
"Good afternoon," you introduced yourself with a crisp yet polite tone. "Welcome to Fundamentals for Shakespeare. I will be your professor for this term." You asked the class if everyone was familiar with the name William Shakespeare. Nearly everyone raised their hands.
"Good," you nodded again. "Shakespeare's play hold great cultural significance. Nearly four-hundred years ago, William Shakespeare remains the central author of the English-speaking world, one of the most quoted poet and playwright - and even today, screenwriters and authors take inspiration from his works."
Shakespeare truly is greater than an icon in the world of English literature, Bill thought to himself, rubbing his fingers along his pencil.
"In addition to performing scenes from his work, we will examine the way that Shakespeare was perceived in his time, how to analyze Shakespeare's plays in both a page and a performance setting, and how to apply authorial intention and historical context to his plays.
On that note, the first play that we will be reading this term is Hamlet. Each and every one of you should find a way to access the play, I'm sure the library has plenty of copies. But for the sake of the class, could anyone give us the synopsis of the play?"
Bill was the only one who raised his hand. "Hamlet is a tragedy that centers upon the Prince of Denmark and his quest for revenge after his father's death."
"To be or not to be the teacher's pet!" Another student rudely commented, loud enough to elicit a few giggles.
You, however, did not flinch once and nonverbally thanked Bill with a smile. "To be or not to be," you began, quoting the monologue you'd rehearsed earlier, "that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them? To die: to sleep;
No more; and by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to, 'tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wish'd."
Bill couldn't help but reciprocate your smile with a wide grin. You handled that comment with such class, and now here you were, quoting Hamlet from memory. No doubt that professors ought to have knowledge about their respective fields, yet there was something magnetic about watching you perform before the class, commanding the room as if it were not a college classroom, but a stage at West End. You continued, still in character:
"To sleep: perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub;
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause: there's the respect
That makes calamity of so long life;
For who would bear the whips and scorns of time,
The oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely,
The pangs of despised love, the law's delay,
The insolence of office and the spurns
That patient merit of the unworthy takes,
When he himself might his quietus make
With a bare bodkin? who would fardels bear,
To grunt and sweat under a weary life,"
He remembered how much his girlfriend Jewel told him about the intensive training and talent needed to become an actress, but never before today had he seen such…it was indescribable how well you were immersed in the character of Hamlet, especially from a beautiful professor. Wait…he just called you beautiful, but it was true!
"But that the dread of something after death,
The undiscover'd country from whose bourn
No traveller returns, puzzles the will
And makes us rather bear those ills we have
Than fly to others that we know not of?
Thus conscience does make cowards of us all;
And thus the native hue of resolution
Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought,
And enterprises of great pith and moment
With this regard their currents turn awry,
And lose the name of action.—Soft you now!
The fair Ophelia! Nymph, in thy orisons
Be all my sins remember'd."
Bill clapped wildly, a stark contrast to some of the other half-interested students, when you took a bow at the end of the monologue.
"In three weeks, you will each perform a monologue like this before your peers," you told the class. "Don't worry about finding one, I assure you that you will all find a passage that best suits you. Though I would start thinking about your choice as soon as possible, in order to give yourself enough time to practice."
"Professor?" Bill raised his hand. "Does our monologue need to be of a certain length?"
"No. There's no length restriction though I trust you're all familiar with the term monologue to know what qualifies. I will have sign-up sheets available starting next class."
"Thank you." Bill found his cheeks getting hot. What was the matter with him?!
"Any further questions." You looked around the room. No response. "Alright then, I would like you all to have read Act I of Hamlet by next class." You wrote the assignment on the chalkboard. "We will discuss the prominent themes and the characterization Shakespeare uses. Maybe if you're all willing, we'll get some of you to come to the front and re-enact a few scenes for the rest of us. Until then, class dismissed. I will see you all on Thursday."
The students quickly left the classroom, chattering amongst themselves, except for Bill. He carefully put his notebook away and approached you.
"Forswear it." he sputtered
"Yes?"
Bill gulped and took a deep breath. "Did I ever know Shakespeare til now? Forswear it, sight! For I never saw true acting til this class."
Your lips formed a wide smile. "Romeo and Juliet, Act One. We'll be covering that at some point in the term."
"I loved your performance," he admitted.
"Thank you, Bill." You internally sighed a bit of relief, glad you didn't make an absolute fool of yourself on your first day of teaching. "I look forward to seeing more of your acting abilities this term."
"Of course, Professor…of course," he trembled a bit and smiled again.

Another great one! These are always fun to read
Tom Hiddleston Characters: How They Act When They Have a Crush (on You)
(Disclaimer: I do not own any of these characters or images. This is just a fun listicle, not designed to offend anyone. As always, please feel free to leave comments and/or constructive criticism below. Thank you, and without any further ado, please enjoy!)
Characters in this list: Will Ransome, King Henry V, Loki of Asgard and Jotunheim, Bill Hazeldine, Coriolanus, Jonathan Pine, Robert Laing, Magnus Martinsson, Oakley, Thomas Sharpe, and Jaguar Villain! Tom Hiddleston.
Will Ransome from The Essex Serpent
Will Ransome having a crush on you would include him offering small bunches of flowers to you whenever he saw you. He would eagerly explain to you the names of the flowers and where they were to be found in Aldwinter. And he would love it whenever you showed interest in the topics he discussed during his weekly sermons at the church, losing track of time while he answered your questions and offered additional commentary.
Despite being very nervous about saying something inappropriate, Will also finds a way to give you a genuine compliment every time you meet, whether it's about the way you styled your hair or the color of your outfit.
When you're not around, he'd fantasize about what it'd be like to be intimate with you. Not necessarily intimate a sexual manner - he would imagine holding hands with you, reading to you while you were curled up in his lap, spending a cold morning under a warm blanket with you, and playing with his dog in the springtime. Will would dream of a life with you, and pray to God that He keeps the two of you together.
King Henry V from The Hollow Crown
King Henry's crush on you began during your betrothal to him. You were brought to meet him for the first time and your father signed the agreement solidifying your family's alliance to the young king of England.
With one look, Henry found himself bewitched by you, declaring that you must be a goddess like Venus or a maiden of heavenly beauty like Helen of Troy. After signing the agreement, Henry would take great interest in showing you around the palace (with a chaperone present of course. Medieval courting. XD). He'd study your face as the two of you went to different rooms - the gardens, the throne room, the library, the king's study - so he could figure out which places you liked the best.
After you had gone home, Henry would ask his men to find out everything they could about you: your favorite flower, your favorite food(s), your favorite fragrance. He wanted to make sure that your new chamber in the palace would be perfect for you.
He would take immense delight in seeing you smile, feeling his own heart skip a beat every time you laughed. When you were alone, he might nervously tell you a flirtatious joke, feeling relieved when you giggled. Maybe if he was feeling bold, he would sweet-talk you into holding his hand (with your consent, of course) and letting him kiss your perfect lips.
Loki of Asgard and Jotunheim from the Marvel Cinematic Universe
("A god doesn't have crushes, Ruhi!"
"Yeah, yeah. Keep telling yourself that.")
Loki having a crush on you would include him showing off his tricks and illusions in the hopes that it would amaze you. He'd take great pleasure in making you laugh, whether it's through a witty joke or a prank (even if Thor is the butt of said prank).
He would be mesmerized whenever you showed off your talents, like singing, dancing, hand-to-hand combat, writing, or even vocal impressions. Loki would be your biggest cheerleader, applauding each and every time, encouraging you to hone your skills further. (Shit, now I'm thinking of Loki holding green pom-poms…what have I done?)
When he's alone, Loki would think about you, wondering if you liked him too. He might even keep a journal titled with your name, a dedicated place for him to write about all the details that he adores about you.
Loki would sometimes watch you from afar (not necessarily in a creepy, stalking way), and conjure little presents and trinkets to make you feel better when you were upset. He would grow jealous whenever another person tries to make a move on you, and would either intercept them or simply persuade you to turn your attention elsewhere.
For the record, it would take a bit of teasing from Thor (or Lady Frigga - dear autocorrect, stop changing her name to Fridge) in order to get Loki to confess his attraction to you.
Bill Hazeldine from Suburban Shootout
Bill having a crush on you would include him helping you out whenever possible, carrying groceries to your home, making sure you got home safely at night, or letting you stand under his umbrella whenever it unexpectedly rained. (*insert Rihanna reference here*)
Bill would be keen to listen to you talk about anything, he absolutely enjoys the sound of your voice as if it were his personal radio show. And at home, Bill would gush about you to his parents, showering you with plenty of praise in your absence.
He would long for the chance to ask you out on a date but every time you say his name, his tongue goes numb and he forgets the words that he mentally rehearsed several times.
Caius Martius Coriolanus from Coriolanus
Caius having a crush on you would include him being surprised at first, thinking such a feeling to be beneath him. He is a general, he must always be in control (if you know which film this is from, tell me so I can give you a Tumblr hug).
He would take his time, keeping his adoration a secret, sending his servants to find out about your background. And every time he saw you in the town square, he would stare but quickly turn away once you caught him. Eventually, he would accept that his feelings for you were not some passing fancy but a genuine love for you. He would think about your charms, your beauty, your smile, and wish to have it all for himself.
When he is working, his army colleagues would tease him about his affections, badgering him with questions about you. Of course, Caius would be quick to lose his temper, barking at them to mind their own business.
Caius would try to get your attention by inviting your family for supper, sending a servant to your home bearing a letter that described his interest in you. He would have his servants prepare the best dishes for your family, knowing that he will need to make a good impression as a worthy suitor for you.
When interacting with you, Caius would speak in soft, dulcet tones, asking if you were enjoying the food and if you were comfortable. You would be the only person that could make Caius laugh, let alone smile.
Jonathan Pine from The Night Manager
Jonathan having a crush on you would include him conveying his affection through polite gestures, like asking about your day whenever you saw him in the lobby. He would listen to you rant about almost anything, like your favorite book or your favorite film actor. He would keep your favorite magazine reserved for you, save a plate of food if he knew you were going to have a long night.
If you were in the hotel when your birthday rolled around, he would use some of his savings to buy you a small present, be it a box of sweets or a piece of jewelry.
He wouldn't talk much about himself with you, given his dark, troubling past, but he would be very protective towards you. Jonathan would do anything and everything in his power to make sure that nobody hurt you, or used you as some type of bait to get to him.
Robert Laing from High-Rise
Robert having a crush on you would include him bringing coffee to you in the morning, just so he can see you before going off to work at the medical school.
He would remember each and every thing about your interactions. If you told him that your favorite scent was gardenia flowers, then he'd switch his usual cologne for one that smelled more like gardenia flowers. He'd even buy a tie that was your favorite color.
If the two of you were ever at a party, Robert would keep a subtle eye on you, prepared to knock anyone out if they ever got too handsy with you. He'd also silently hope that at one point during the night, you would approach him, a slow song would start to play, and you would put your arms around his neck, looking into his eyes…
Yeah, for someone who looks very detached from most things, Robert would be very, very attached to you.
Magnus Martinsson from Wallander
Magnus having a crush on you would include plenty of teasing from his work colleagues at the police station. In front of them, he'd pretend to be all tough about it, denying as much as he can. But on the inside, Magnus would literally be putty in your hands.
He would buy flowers for you, often leaving them at your doorstep because of his odd hours. Whenever the two of you happened to meet, Magnus would feel elated whenever you recognized him.
It would take some egging from his colleagues or even Wallander himself to get Magnus to stop admiring you from afar and just ask you out for a drink.
Oakley from Unrelated
Oakley having a crush on you would include him doing a lot of tricks to impress you (like backflips in the air or putting out a match with his tongue). He'd love to show off in front of you, even if it means his friends teasing him about it. He'd flex his muscles (he has them, right?), brag about how good of a swimmer he is, and act like he's not afraid of any challenge.
Behind doors, he'd also do a lot of the cheesy things, like writing your first name with his last name in a notebook, or listing everything he likes about you.
Thomas Sharpe from Crimson Peak
Thomas having a crush on you would include him stealing glances at you from across the ballroom while you socialize with other guests. In public, Thomas would do a double take whenever you walked by.
Even though his sister keeps an iron grip on Thomas, he would still find a way to offer you compliments. He would tell you about the beautiful color of your eyes, the loveliness of your hairstyle, and the aesthetic appeal of your outfit.
And in private, he would write letters addressed to you - letters that he may or may not ever send to you, letters entailing each and every thing he enjoyed about you, letters that described everything he wished to do with you. One of the letters consisted of his wish to dance with you under the stars of Paris, and hold you in his arms while you gazed at the Eiffel tower.
Jaguar!Tom Hiddleston
Tom doesn't have "crushes"; he's a pretty guarded person, so he either falls hard, or not at all.
Tom being interested in you would include him bringing you plenty of luxurious gifts (Godiva chocolates, Chanel perfume, the latest designer gowns, your own 2-bedroom flat in London) and making time for you in his busy schedule.
He wold always have his chauffeurs pick you up from work/school, just to make sure that you're in safe hands.
When you're together, Tom would enjoy stealing an occasional kiss and surprising you with romantic gestures. On your birthday, he made entire city blackout except for London Bridge, which was lit up in your favorite color. He even booked a private theater just for the two of you, and had a showing of your favorite movie or play.
And if anyone tries to hit on you or be inappropriate with you? Be prepared to hear about their "mysterious disappearance" on the news the next day.
