How do you think a date between Bill and Colleen would go?

glad to see I'm getting more ppl on board with this ship bc I literally make all the content for it teehee this might be a brick of text cause I have like a billion million ideas lol

Now, for le question. I feel like their first date would've been very casual, hardly a date even, maybe they go out, get coffee together (not at Gloria's Cafe because the kids + Gloria would've been PLOTTING to get them together) but maybe some other places. Very low-key, very personal.

But their dates later down the line would be more romantic ofc, Bill's a classic romance guy and Colleen I feel doesn't have much experience in relationships outside of professional ones - and if she were to have been with someone before it was probs with Gwendolyn and we know how that went (⁠•⁠ ⁠▽⁠ ⁠•⁠;⁠) - so it's a bit of a learning curve for her. Bill tries to make it nice and romantic, taking her to a fancy place for dinner, he'll try and take her to some place related to space perhaps like an observatory. But I feel like it'd be in character for their first more romantic date might not've gone well, like they don't get into an argument or anything, but like the date doesn't feel personal. Bill's anxious and trying hard to make it special that it's Not Special (like in the EP with Cricket and Gabriella).

So I feel like maybe instead of like trying to do things by the book or whatever he takes Colleen out to the country to see some actual stars there. They sit on the roof or in the bed of the Kludge. Bill's asking Colleen about constellations and she names them and helps Bill recognize them as the stars slowly skirt by in the sky. It's cold out in the country so they scoot up to each other and hold hands blah blah blah, very tender, very sweet.

I think it'd also be funny, if the kids (especially Tilly) tried to play matchmaker between Bill and Colleen. Tilly just has a cork board with stickers and post-its and doodles and red string and Cricket is just a long for the ride. Maybe Gloria gets dragged into it for the tea or the drama. Tilly trashes the house with hearts and glitter and pink (Alice about lost her mind but it's all for a good cause). And she'll find the most miniscule things Bill and Colleen might have in common to try and get them to like each other. "Wow! Papa isn't this just crazy? You like coffee! Colleen likes coffee! Don't you just have SO much in common?" Etcetera.

Tilly also wants them together out of a genuine care for Bill, she wants him to be happy and just like in Friend Con she wants to help him have meaningful relationships and she's worried that Bill hasn't been with anyone since he and Nancy got divorced that he's unhappy (which he isn't lol) and thinks someone like Colleen is good for him.

I think you get the idea lol ngl this has motivated me to write a fic sooo expect that maybe lol

• Bill is bisexual :))

• he has anxiety (mostly social but also separation anxiety), also autism.

• he has whatever the BCGverse version of Pintrest Boards are, boards of his dream cars (Oldsmobiles, Mustangs, Cadillac, Model Ts, ETC ETC) He also has boards with special and fancy plants too

• tilly paints his nails sometimes

• the roadtrip he and the greens go on in the movie was actually a revised version of a roadtrip he, Alice, and Ernest would go on when bill was really little

• bill only experimented with his bisexuality after he and Nancy divorced

• Bill doesn't remember what Ernest sounds like anymore..

Colleen Headcanons

• Colleen is omnisexual with femme preference X33

• Colleen has PSTD, DID (she has alters of different astrologers, and one thats her when she was little), AuDHD, and depression.

• Colleen's natural hair isn't actually pink, it's a dark ginger (i drew this before tehee)
