Unfortunate death of India's Former President-Dr. Pranab Mukharjee Dr. Pranab Mukharjee was India's 13th President serving from 2012-2017. He was a senior leader in Indian National Congress and has won many reputable awards like 'Bharat Ratna' and 'Padma Bhushan'. He was suffering from lung infection and was in coma for sometime before he died on August 31,2020 at the age of 84 in Delhi's Army's Research and Referral(R&R) Hospital. As a mark of respect, seven days State Mourning will be observed in India from 31 aug.to 6 sep., both days inclusive and the National flag would fly at halfmaston all buildings throughout India,where it is flown regularly and there will be no official entertainment.
