🗺⚡️☄️🗣 please! :)
🗺️ Does your OC like going on adventures? Have they ever discovered something really interesting and significant or are they just too busy getting lost? Where is their favourite place they’ve been? Least favourite?
Mzia: As someone who’s a self-proclaimed history nerd and a bard-in-training she loves going out on adventures and discovering anything she can get her grabby little hands on. She’s nosy and inquisitive. Getting lost is not a problem for her, just another way to find creative solutions. Her favourite place so in the span of DA:O was a toss up between the royal palace of Denerim and the old ruins in the Brecilian Forest. Her least favourite place was the alienage because it just ended up reminding her of Dust Town.
Panathlan: He likes going on adventures where he can be a little stealthy, something he’s never once doing in combat. He can find the mundane even interesting at times if it’s comfortable. The first place he found that really caught his interest was one of Denerim’s blacksmith shops outside of the alienage, and as a teen he’d just spend time watching them work. In the span of DA:O he is the one to rediscover the ways of the Arcane Warrior, and even if he wasn’t a mage to learn them, he learnt a lot from the other techniques.

⚡ What are your OC’s phobias? Is there any reasoning behind these? How do they calm themselves down after getting scared? What are they like when they’re afraid? Is there any chance of them overcoming their fears?
Danae: Quite contrary to how they work, one of their phobias is complete silence. Their line of work generally requires stealth and quiet to do properly, but even in the silence of the forest you can still hear how it’s alive, with rustling leaves, streaming water, or animals calling. When it is completely quiet around something’s scared off all living creatures and spirits meaning something bad is about to happen. They most remember the silence before touching the mirror which led to Tamlen’s demise. They like to hum, talk to themselves, or just amicable chatter in the background the best. The clan always had plenty of this.
---
☄️ Does your OC believe in fate and destiny or do they think it’s a load of garbage? Would they ever get this fortune told? What would a fortune-teller tell them about their future?
Lorelei: Andrastianism mentions little on destiny or fate except for that the Maker has created for you. As she’s got a tiny bit of a saviour complex mixed with complicated feelings regarding surviving the Highever massacre, she firmly believes it is her duty to die for her land and country to stop the Blight. She carries this fatalistic nature with her even after the Blight ends. She likes to believe in fate when it comes to the negative only, never the positive. Alistair’s outlook on their romance pokes holes in this at times, however.
Bezrin: Absolutely believes that the lineage of the ancestors hold something to them. Sure it’s mostly nepotistic nonsense what’s going on in Orzammar, but some things are sure to be set in (the) Stone. He does believe you need to steer the hands of destiny and that it requires input from yourself but he was destined to do great among the halls of those who came before him and so he did in the Blight. He doesn’t believe it was his fate to die in the Deep Roads or be disposed as prince, but he does believe that he ends up where he is supposed to, with the wardens.

🗣️ What are the most painful words that can be said to your OC to utterly break them? What are the words that you could tell them to cheer them up? Maybe some advice to give them the boost they need!
Daylen: Mention anything to him about his past abuse in a positive manner and he will cut you off right there and then. No suffering made him stronger or better it made him suffer and still suffer till this day. If he is the wrong headspace one could totally steer him to a mental breakdown by gaslighting his past to him and claiming he deserved what happened to him. Take him away from that situation and let him find his space for a bit and he’ll be back again. He does appreciate talking about his past on his own terms though, he’s very open about that.
Ophelia: Make her feel small, invisible, and like she doesn’t matter. She sometimes already feels like she’s living in Daylen’s and others’ shadow so bump that up and make her feel worthless, that’ll do it. One of the ways she can completely shut down is by completely shutting up. She was mute for a while after joining the circle, and still suffers from anxiety attacks that can lead to temporary mutism. She knows common sign language because of this. Obviously encouraging words from friends will help a bit but considering it’s also a very internal issue she needs to find her own voice before she can voice herself, too.

could i request elfroot, deathroot, and arbor blessing for any oc of your choice?
I’m going to pick three of my wardens and divide them if you don’t mind!
Elfroot :: What is a small, mundane thing that brings your character great comfort?  Panathlan has never really gone outside of Denerim, so most things that remind him of the city, especially the alienage, would serve to cure his homesickness a lot. Such silly things as sweets specific to that place. I feel like Pan gets a lot of comfort from close touches with loved ones, so a hug would be much appreciated :’)
Deathroot :: What is the most horrifying thing the Nightmare can cause your character to see?  When Danae came face to face with Tamlen, they truly learnt what the taint could do to you. Their biggest fear is to end up like him. Abandoned, left for dead, corrupted by the Blight, and dying alone. They don’t want to lose themselves to the song just yet. If it’s up to Danae, they’ll go out fighting darkspawn. Meeting the broodmother and that corruption was very frightening for them too.
Arbor Blessing :: What is the happiest ending you can think of for your character?  Considering Bezrin ends up getting mortally injured in the final battle with the archdemon, I’d say him surviving would definitely be a better ending. I don’t think the man died with too many regrets, but it was a loss felt by all of his friends.  So his happiest ending? He survives, and ends up moving in between adventures on the surface and bothering his brother back in the diamond quarter while living life without regrets.
Thank you for asking!

Rashvine
I’m going to do all my wardens for this one if you don’t mind ;)
Rashvine :: Who/what is the one thing or person your character simply cannot stand?
Bezrin: Bez hates hypocrites, and Orzammar’s full of them. All nobles lie and cheat and manipulate, and if you claim you don’t do that? He’s not going to like you. Be honest about being an asshole and he’ll appreciate it. Because of this he doesn’t like Harrowmont nor Eamon much. Small thing he can’t stand? Bright sunlight. Shit’s just too shiny in an unfamiliar way.
Daylen: People who are selfish not because they had to learn to to survive, but simply because they wish to, even if they have all the power in the world to choose not to be. He hates neutrality in the face of oppression as well, or trying to look at everything like it all has a similar perspective or weight. Greagoir (and Wynne) get on his nerves at times. Also pickles are the devil’s food.
Danae: Saying ‘human bigots’ might be a bit easy but truly, Danae is a bit distrustful of most humans they first meet. I mean, Danae lost their parents to human skirmishers so they’re well within their rights to be. Number one human on their shitlist during the Blight is a toss-up between Howe and Loghain. As for a smaller thing they dislike, it’s wet socks or soles /shivers/.
Mzia: People who care too much about the status quo and tell her she should ‘know her place.’ Try saying it and you’ll end up with a mouth full of fist. Also Beraht for obvious reasons. She also dislikes it when you walk too fast, she’s got tiny legs on her tiny body please walk slower I am begging you.
Panathlan: Feels Danae’s choice on a spiritual level, but would take off Loghain and add Vaughan. He also despises the smells in Denerim’s gutters all around when summer comes around. This country wasn’t made for hot weather. Don’t tell Shianni but he could care less about her nut-flour cookies.
Lorelei: HOWE!!! THAT MOTHER FUCKER!!! Lorelei also hates most things generally hated by Fereldans such as Orlais and people who hate dogs. She dislikes staying in one place for too long. She also hates having mud in her hair, and just mud in general, for personal reasons.
Ophelia: Fi probably has a list somewhere, which will contain Templars, the Chantry, the Circle, the existence of Alienages, the Orlesian Empire, and so on. She can be very opinionated about various Things and doesn’t like being interrupted. Also don’t point out her one eye. She’s also not fond of food with a lot of slimy textures.
