Her name is Regina Hase, and she is the final antagonist of Beyblade RISING. The first female last boss in Beyblade plastic gen.

I can't recall rn if she directly states, "I'm Volkov's daughter" but I'm very sure she's his daughter (people in the Japanese fandom also seem to think this).

Edit: Okay yeah it's confirmed, she even calls him Father. My memory is very hazy XD

She runs a beyblade gambling ring, DBB. Initially, she disguises herself as Volkov, until Yuriy realizes she's not really him. She was also the one who got Yuriy kicked from the World Championships by circulating videos of Yuriy being all "muahahah I am so evil" while destroying beyblades. She also tried to ruin Takao's reputation by tricking him into battling at DBB and broadcasting it, falsely claiming that Takao is also a DBB blader. She defeats Takao, and gives Yuriy a hard time until Takao joins in on the match and helps Yuriy defeat her.

She has purple hair like Volkov (her long hair is a wig btw, her real hair is very short), and calls herself 'Volkov's heir' at one point, I think. Her nationality is stated as "German-Russian" in a page in the manga, and since her mother Emilia is shown to be German, I think it's safe to say she gets the 'Russian' part from Volkov. She meets Volkov after being defeated by Yuriy and Takao. She talks to him, and at one point Volkov mentions how Regina's anger upon being defeated is just like her Mother's.

Instead of leaving with Volkov, she decides to go her own way.

Later, it is shown she opens the Deustche Beyblade Liga, DBL with her mother. Also, beyblade RISING is very parenthood-centric. A lot of the characters have their parents shown, and some of the plot involves their parents as well. I think it's safe to say Volkov is her father.

Her bit beast is the rabbit Wolpertinger from German Folklore. It is said to live in Bavarian forests. Her launcher is a crossbow launcher like Brooklyn's, although it is handheld rather than worn on the arm. Her last name 'Hase' also means Hare/Rabbit in German, similar to how 'Volkov' means Wolf in Russian.

I think I already described what her beyblade is like, right?

I love how it looks! It took me two years to realize there are two rabbit heads on the lower part. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the way the spikes work. It's a bit too over the top, even for beyblade XD A toned down version of it would be amazing tho!

I also find it interesting that Regina is the one who wears Volkov's iconic mask in RISING, while Volkov himself wears an eyepatch here, presumably from losing an eye? It feels as though he 'passed the torch' to his daughter.

Batfam x DP Headcanons

This post was inspired by @fakakta-art these are head cannons that will one day be turned into a story but this is basically the set. If I have made a mistake tell me and I will fix it.

Every year Bruce cleans and polishes his family’s Menorah, under Alfred’s careful watch. It is then placed in the window of the family living room.

One of the few items Tim brought over from Drake Manor was his family’s Menorah and Torah. Alfred helps him polish his. It is placed in the window next to Bruce’s.

Dick unironically loves ugly sweaters and gets/gifts them to everyone. He makes sure that the entire family gathers for at least one holiday movie marathon, where the dresscode is pajamas and their festive sweater of choice.

Growing up Jason was too poor to really celebrate Christmas, but his mother did take him to mass and one year they found a small, plastic, silver tree someone threw out. It became a Christmas tradition to decorate their little silver tree with handmade ornaments and things they found.

Back when Jason lived at the Manor, he, Alfred, and Bruce went and found a giant silver tree to put up in the living room with the Menorah. Alfred would help decorate with some of his own ornaments. Bruce let Jason go wild and buy some ornaments, but every year the three of them would make ornaments for the tree and sometimes Kate, Barbara, and even Dick would join in. Alfred’s favorite is the Union Jack Jason made for him.

With every family member that was added, more traditions came to the family.

Sam hates when her parents force her to go to galas and other events in a similar fashion. The only thing that makes them bearable is when she is either allowed to bring a friend, or when the Wayne kids are there. She has made allies with them in order to survive these awful events.

The only event Sam Manson likes going to with her parents is The Wayne’s Hanukkah Party. It is always held a few days before Hanukkah begins, and is the best because unlike most of the gala’s it is a smaller, casual affair, for friends and family to actually hang out. She also gets to eat as many of Alfred’s Latkes as possible, and watch her grandmother flirt with most of the Waynes.

When Sam, Danny and Tucker were younger, either 7 or 8, the two boys modified a Beyblade launcher to fit dreidels and gave it to her as one of her gifts. (they were super into Beyblade and didn’t understand that Dreidel is very different., their hearts were in the right place.)It is one of Sam’s most cherished possessions she has received, because her friends really wanted to give her a gift she would like but include her faith. She busts it out every year and gets Danny and Tucker to play with her.

Beyblade character design analysis: Kenta Yumiya

Masterpost here. Now let's take a look at Kenta, who somehow went from getting beaten up by the Face Hunters to gaining Ryuga's respect

Starting with the hair, it's green. This has nothing to do with his bey, but the green, and more specifically this shade, make Kenta stand out. The rest of Kenta's design is fairly generic, to the point where some actual background characters have more captivating designs (like Django), so the hair helps set him apart from someone like Osamu. Green is one of the lesser-used hair colors in mfb, and the characters with green hair all have a very dark shade (like Kyoya). Kenta is the exception, which catches our attention when the rest of his design doesn't

Kenta wears a yellow shirt with a blue stripe. The yellow-green-blue color scheme looks like the Brazilian flag (insert joke about the time the Garcias jumped Yu). The design itself is quite plain, but the colors are bright enough to make Kenta not seem like a background character. He's still a generic audience surrogate in design (and character, at least at the start), but without being too generic as to be mistaken for a background character

He lacks gloves or a visible belt, which are accessories used by most bladers. This makes his design seem more generic, and it's on purpose because almost everyone else has at least one of these 2. However, Kenta does have a belt that holds his launcher, which is just not seen very much. He is a strong blader, but doesn't seem like it at first

Kenta wears shorts. There's nothing I can really say about them other than they contribute to his child look (I mean, he is a child, but he looks way younger than almost everyone else)

His shoes are unremarkable, but unlike some other footwear, seems like something a real-life kid would wear, cementing Kenta's role as an audience surrogate for the first few episodes (though he grows out of it fairly quickly)

His hair in Fury is mostly the same, but altered slightly to be a little more detailed. This is still the same Kenta from the previous seasons, but he's older and more mature. He also becomes a lot more important to the plot in Fury. Despite having less screentime than in Fusion, his contributions are a lot bigger

His shirt gets a redesign. The new style makes him look older, which is the primary purpose. The blue stripe is also gone and instead we have a white, vertical stripe. With his redesign being more detailed in general, the blue stripe loses its purpose of making Kenta stand out as an important character. The white gives it just as much detail, if not more, but isn't as flashy. Plus, Flash Sagittario's facebolt has white in the center, unlike Flame's. Subtle foreshadowing maybe?

Kenta wears pants that are rolled up to look kinda like shorts. It makes him look older while retaining most elements from his original design. Despite how much Kenta grew over the course of the series, at his core he's still the same

His shoes are a little more detailed but still essentially the same. Not much I can say about them

Mayblade Day 1: Lights

The stadium lights were blinding when she stepped out onto the stadium floor amidst the cheers and excited shouts of the crowd. She looked down at her right hand. Her midnight blue HMS beyblade sparkled, showing off the brand new attack ring Kenny had installed in the locker rooms only minutes earlier. He had promised her it would be good enough to stand up to Carlos. She desperately hoped he was right. In the centre of the beyblade, the emblem of the dragon shone brightly. Vaguely, she heard the referee’s announcement, calling the competitors to the dish. She took a breath, and then she stepped forward as the crowd around her erupted into cheers of excitement and anticipation. This is it, the anxious voice inside her head told her. It was time to prove to the world what she could do. Her teammates were already assembled and waiting for her. It had been Kai’s decision to change the line up at the last minute - with a draw and a loss behind them, her captain knew they were backed into a corner. Now her teammates were counting on her to keep them in the game. As she approached the bench, Max and Tyson each patted her on the back and shared words of encouragement. Ray gave her arm a gently squeeze as Becky pressed her launcher and ripcord into her hands. “You can do this,” she said, her voice full of determination and confidence in her cousin’s abilities. She glanced in Kai’s direction and her captain nodded wordlessly before her coach pulled her aside. Hiro placed his hands on her shoulders. “Remember Steph,” he told her. “Your beyblade is like an extension of yourself. Believe that it’s good enough to defeat Carlos. Believe that you are good enough to beat him.” He squeezed her shoulders gently. “You won’t lose.” She nodded her head. “Okay, coach.” She didn’t look to the stands as she approached the dish - she knew he would be there watching her. Slowly, she ascended the steps to the area, her anticipation building as she climbed higher, higher until she could see across the field to her opponent. The announcer’s voice echoed through the stadium. "And the hopes of the entire team rest on the shoulders of their Vice Captain. If they don’t win this round, the Bladebreakers will lose the match and their chance at the Championship title." She clipped Seraphina securely into her launcher, the rip cord held tight in her hands. Across from her, Carlos stood ready, his beyblade held over the dish, a menacing look on his face. “Beybladers at the ready,” Jazzman told them. Steph took a deep breath and closed her eyes. She felt the spirit of the bitbeast inside her beyblade gently brush against her consciousness, reassuring her that she was not in this fight alone and when she opened her eyes again, she could no longer the sounds of the crowd or the jeers from the Bladesharks’ bench. This was her moment. She took her stance, beyblade and launcher poised over the stadium and waited for Jazzman’s count. Three. Two. One … Let it Rip!
