I considered an option not to write about it, but @pharrell last appearance among the other “geniuses” of @moncler “Genius creative class” was a bit too much. The whole marketing idea of co-creation platform sucks, because it doesn’t do anything good to fashion. Designers standing behind their creations for @moncler are not named. The resulting design is nice, but why won’t Adidas sell it as their own, for example. Just sayin… #PharellWilliams face with stolen design is like a slap in face of the fashion and jewellery community. Money are just money, people. They can’t make things, they only make people richer. We ban brands for being from the wrong country or for saying something offensive in the private message. Why do we celebrate musician that is obviously unable to feel ashamed about the intellectual property he acquired from another culture’s heritage and signed as his own invention? What’s wrong with you? All that diet prada admires and all the junk design investigators, where are you now? I don’t say that coalition of 2 big brands from mass and high markets is the top of the consumerism age, that it serves only to stimulate overconsumption. I don’t say that signing musicians as creatives instead of promoting the existing designers and their work... I don’t mention a lot of things… in the end it’s their money though it’s our environment that is garbaged as a result. I’m asking about one thing only: Why this person is there?! He’s not a creative. Or let’s say he creates opportunities to appropriate other people’s ideas. It’s not fashion. It’s not honorable. It’s disgrace. And ignorance. And arrogance. This character’s shown up in my dreams three times now, months apart. He had no hair, or rather, his hairstyle was a shaved head with a plant growing from his scalp as if it was hair. In the first dream he was a baker, and he had a violent streak. I want to learn more about him.

渡辺麻友、14歳でAKB48に加入…年内をもってAKB48を卒業 今年6月17日に沖縄県で開催された「AKB48 49thシングル選抜総選挙～まずは戦おう！話はそれからだ～」にて、149132票で2位となり、スピーチで卒業を発表。

AKB48に加入したときは14歳。4月でデビュー10年目を迎えた渡辺はスピーチで「これからは外の世界に出て、新たな挑戦がしたいなと。また一から出直すつもりで外の世界に飛び出そうという決意をさせていただきました」と決意を語った。

10月31日には地元・埼玉県さいたまスーパーアリーナで卒業コンサート「渡辺麻友卒業コンサート～みんなの夢が叶いますように～」を開催し、11月20日にはAKB48でセンターを務めるラストシングル『11月のアンクレット』を発売。

12月20日には、これまでのソロ歴史を網羅した集大成となる1stソロアルバム『Best Regards!』を発売予定で、12月26日に東京・秋葉原のAKB48劇場にて卒業公演を行う。

卒業を決めたタイミング ― AKB48卒業を具体的に決めた瞬間はいつだったのでしょうか？

渡辺：はっきりと決めたのは、今年の3月末です。最終的にはもう、“自分で自分のお尻を叩く”みたいな。「辞めろ！辞めるんだ！行け！」“ズン！”という感じで、秋元さん（秋元康総合プロデューサー）にLINEしました（笑）。

― 自分で自分のお尻を叩いたタイミングの理由は何ですか？

渡辺：ずっと考えていて、ちょうど4月から主演ドラマ『サヨナラ、えなりくん』が始まったので、その撮影に入る直前に。あまり綺麗な理由ではないのですが、撮影に入ると自分自身が大変になって他のことを考えられなくなるから（笑）、入る前にというタイミングでした。でもこの1、2年位ずっと、いつ卒業を決めてもおかしくはない状況ではありました。考えに考えて決めたので、このタイミングがとか、明確な理由はあまりありません。

― 自分一人で決められたんですか？メンバーには相談されましたか？

渡辺：相談はほぼしていません。あまり人に相談するのが得意ではなくて…。人生相談をできずに生きてきてしまいました。メンバーにも唯一ゆきりん（柏木由紀）には話したのですが、それも相談というより、卒業することを決めたという報告みたいな感じでした。

― では、秋元先生に相談するわけでもなく。

渡辺：もう決め打ちで。「いつまでに卒業させて頂きたいです」という感じで明記して伝えて決まりました。

― 総選挙で発表するということも渡辺さんが決めたんですか？

渡辺： 秋元さんと相談しながら決めました。私にとっては、一番大事なファンの方たちの前で伝えたい、ということが第一でした。結局、雨が降ったから目の前にファンの方はいなかったのですが（※総選挙開票イベントは当初、豊崎海浜公園・豊崎美らSUNビーチにて行われる予定だったが天候不良のため、公民館にて無観客で実施された）。

卒業決断の裏には後輩の成長も ― これまで卒業を考えたことは、数えられないくらいあったということでしょうか？

渡辺：数というよりは1回考えたらずっと考えていました。でもソロじゃなくてグループなので自分1人の都合では決められないので、なかなか決められずにいたという感じでした。

― それが決断できたということは、グループとしても大丈夫だなというか、後輩に任せられると思えたから？

渡辺：そうですね。後輩もだいぶ頼もしくなってきて、大丈夫だなと。安心材料が増えました。

― それは最近ですか？

渡辺：結構最近で、めきめきと成長してきているのを感じることもできて、決断できました。

渡辺麻友の11年間でのターニングポイントは ― 11年間は相当長いと思うんですけど、あえてターニングポイントというか、転機を考えるといつですか？

渡辺：ターニングポイント…1つはやっぱりソロデビューでしょうか。17歳の時。それまではグループでずっとやってきたので、そこで1人の人として見られる意識がより強くなったというか、1人で何かをする、見せるということへの意識がより高まったタイミングでした。そのすぐ1か月後に18歳になるんですけど。グループの中にいたら先輩や仲間がいるから頼れるし助け合えるけど、1人だと誰にも頼れないし、1人で全部やらなきゃいけないという大変さを知りました。

― その後はどうですか？

渡辺：ソロデビュー以降は、総選挙1位になった2014年。

― 1位になって、1つ何か目標を達成したという感じ？

渡辺：目標達成というか、頂点に立って…というタイミングでした。

― 渡辺さんはよく“王道アイドル”というキャラクターで語られますね。

渡辺：“王道アイドル”というキャラクターは、見い出され始めてからそこに自分で近寄せていったという感じです。

― 20歳を過ぎた頃から、脱皮ではないですけど、自然な魅力が出てきたなと思います。

渡辺：20歳くらいでしょうか。それを境に、「ずっと���れでやっていけるわけでもないし」と思って、シフトチェンジしていかないと、と思っていました。あと「面白みがない」とかよく言われていたので、もっと素を出していこうと強く意識していった1年間があって。3位になった後の2013年で、選挙1位になる前です。2位から3位になって、悪い意味ではありませんが真ん中にいると気張っちゃうんです。ちょっと横に逸れたら良い意味で気が抜けるというか、砕けられるので、砕けた結果ちょっと新しい一面が出せたのかな。私は素を出すことが苦手だったので、その1年間は相当努力しました。

― 努力というのは具体的に？

渡辺：勇気を出すとか、殻をやぶるとか。どうにかこうにか素を出そうと、ジリジリと殻をやぶっていきました。

― もともと、人前に立つと殻をかぶってしまう性格ですか？

渡辺：そうですね。人前に立つことは実は苦手で、たくさんの人に見られることが苦手です。アイドルをしているのにこんなこと言うのはおかしいんですが（笑）。苦手というか殻をかぶってしまう。

― その苦手な殻を今はやぶれた？

渡辺：う～ん…完全にやぶれたかというと違う問題で、今でも苦手です。特に地上波のテレビや、生放送は今でも緊張します。素人みたいですが、『MUSIC STATION』も87回出させて頂いたんですけど、ずっと緊張していました。

― だんだん素を出せるようになっていって、それがファンの方にも知られていったんですね。

渡辺：そうですね。好きになっていただけました。

― Twitterを拝見しているとすごく素だなと思います。

渡辺：Twitterは素です。顔が出ないから。

― でも色々な人に見られているのは一緒じゃないですか？それはあまり気にならないですか？

渡辺：もういいやって。さらけ出しています。

― （笑）。素の渡辺さんがとても素敵だと思います。

渡辺：そう言って頂くことが多いです（笑）。
