Half Blood, son of a Muggle father, a big business owner, and a witch mother who studied at Hogwarts, also a Slytherin, has always been accustomed to good and luxury things. At Hogwarts, Edward had much appreciation for potions and charms. As he learned more about the magical world, especially after his fourth year at Hogwarts, Edward began to adhere to the idea that most spells are forbidden and unforgivable, not for the idea that they can be evil in the eyes of people, but which are because a bureaucratic set prohibits them, taking the benefits of these arts in certain situations. After flerting with Merula Snyde, who was reluctant at first, but was felling something strong and passionate about Edward, the two, hidden, started to study some dark arts, and, slowly, Edward began to change the mind of Merula about the Ministry of Magic. In a deeply passionate and “wild” relationship (which only existed to further strengthen one’s passion for one another), the two decided that they would be willing, really depending on the situation, to use the dark arts to conquer somethings. Edward, different to Tom Riddlle, wasn’t caring about the blood type, he only cared about the false authority of the Ministry of Magic.
