The Bachelorette: A Very Petty Review of Rachelâs Guys
The best part about reality television is judging people with no consequence.
I have no pity on these men. One will probably become The Bachelor, another will (hopefully) become Rachelâs life partner, and the rest will have an endless supply of hot chicks thirsting over them for the next three years. Yes, even Mr. Square Jaw is included in that statement.
This season of The Bachelorette has 31 men and most of them arenât good enough to be with Rachel. Iâm just being honest here. Rachel is gorgeous, smart, hilarious and has a rocking body. Boys canât handle her, fuck boys will be destroyed by her and egomaniacs will be exposed by her.
I have so many questions for this bunch. Will this seasonâs villain compare to Chad? Who will get embarrassingly drunk on night one? Is it possible for these guys to create a bromance (circle jerk) bigger than Chase and Robbyâs? Am I really expected to tell all these white guys apart?
WHY DO ALL STRAIGHT WHITE MEN LOOK ALIKE? UGH.
Letâs introduce ourselves to the 31 aspiring social media influencers who may or may not be vying for Rachelâs heart. This review is going to take awhile, so grab a snack.
Adam, 27, Real Estate Agent
Things were going badly out the gate after Adam called the fake-quirky white feminist Jennifer Lawrence his dream girl. The situation became a complete dumpster fire after he said the most âromanticâ present he ever received was a threesome on his birthday. If anyone wants to know why Iâm single, itâs because men my age consider threesomes romantic.Â
Alex, 28, Information Systems Supervisor
I want to like Alex because I witnessed him put on a fantastic male stripper performance on the Ellen Show, but these answers make him sound like a wet paper bag. Alex claims to be a wingman and not a party starter, but the way he shook his ass on Ellen says otherwise.
Anthony, 26, Education Software Manager
Anthonyâs answers make it seem like he is smart, funny without trying and successful. I just hope his head isnât as weirdly shaped as it looks in this picture.
Blake E., 31, Aspiring Drummer
My first thought is, why is there more than one Blake on this season? I donât even know one Blake in real life. My second thought is, does the occupation of âaspiring drummerâ offer health insurance? Blake was engaged to a âcrazy girlâ for 48 hours and went to horseback riding camp when he was younger. Rachel, run. And donât look back.
Blake K., 29, U.S. Marine Veteran
If he could be anyone, Blake would want to be âThe Rockâ because the famous actor looks good wearing a fanny pack. Blake also says he wouldnât eat monkey brains or wrestle a crocodile for love. Blakey, stop trying so hard.
Brady, 29, Male Model
Yeah, Brady may be the conventionally attractive version of Casey Neistat, but thatâs all he has going for him. Imagine being so ignorant to the rest of the world that the person you hate most is âThe Situationâ from The Jersey Shore.Â
Bryan, 37, Chiropractor
I just realized these bios donât say where these men are from. What the hell? Also, Bryan is hot, smart, AWARE OF THE REST OF THE WORLD and doesnât have a weird-shaped head. Whatâs with kind-of old chiropractors never settling down? Apparently it is a thing. (This reminds me, I need to schedule an adjustment with my chiro.) I like Bryan, but he kisses and tells. On the Ellen group date he announced to everyone that he kissed Rachel already. Smh. Girls do NOT like snitches.
Bryce, 30, Firefighter
It appears that my high school english teacher was reborn as Mr. Square Jaw. Who the hell writes like this? âLaid back shot of gasoline when the fire starts to die.â â...eyes you could drown in and a smile that insults the sun.â âA fresh drink of water with a jolt of lightning.â Settle, down Nicholas Sparks. To top it all off, ABC deleted his transphobic comment after well-deserved backlash on Twitter.
Dean, 26, Startup Recruiter
There are some things I dislike about Dean, and some things I like. I dislike that he looks like an alien. I like that he called marriage an âinstitutionalized sham derived from religious beliefsâ yet still wants to get married, because same.
DeMario, 30, Executive Recruiter
DeMario seems like strange dude. Half his answers confuse me. I feel like I had a similar reaction to him when he met Rachel on ATFR. I have one request: keep wild animals in the wild. No pet lions for you, DeMario.
Diggy, 31, Senior Inventory Analyst
This guy is funny, and evidently not a virgin (petition to get a virgin male on The Bachelorette. No, Sean Lowe didnât count.) Several of his answers made me actually crack up, which is pretty hard to do. Sadly, I donât think heâs marriage material at the moment. I also need him to explain this below answer further because I am jumping to some problematic conclusions here.Â
Eric, 29, Personal Trainer
Ah, what would a season of The Bachelorette be like without at least one personal trainer? Eric seems like a serious dude with a type-A personality. Heâs also a deep thinker and a health nut. He probably likes to act like heâs perfect, but heâs not. No one is. Your flaws will be exposed sooner or later, buddy. Iâll be watching you.
Fred, 27, Executive Assistant
I wanted to dislike Fred because he is dressed like an insurance agent in his picture, but his answers turned me around. His favorite artist is Jean-Michel Basquiat, and I believe Rachel put the same answer in her bio. Overall, his answers were 10//10. I can see him being accepted by Rachelâs intimidating father, the Hon. Lindsay. Others wouldnât be as lucky.
Grant, 29, Emergency Medicine Physician
Grant is a doctor and kind of looks like a less-hot version of Dan Humphrey from Gossip Girl. On paper, him and Rachel would make a good couple. I canât tell if he is good looking though, I need to see him in motion (it matters, OK?)
Iggy, 30, Consulting Firm CEO
Another âgood on paperâ kind of guy. I had a turtle named Iggy growing up so I really canât get past that.
Jack Stone, 32, Attorney
What kind of name is Jack Stone? His name combined with the creepy expression he is making in this pic is not giving me a good first impression. His answers were decent. I like that he had some humility and âpleaded the fifthâ on the bedroom questions. Thanks for being the only classy one.
Jamey, 32, Sales Account Executive
I know I just said this about the above person as well, but what kind of name is Jamey? Thatâs a name your mother calls you at home when no one is around while youâre between the ages of 6 and 12. Jamey is so far the shortest of the bunch at 5 feet 9 inches tall. He ideally would only date models and does not have female friends. I would say that Iâd like to be his friend, but I have a vagina. Vaginas are for fucking, not friending. Basic Jamey logic.
Jedidiah, 35, ER Physician
Jedidiah looks like he shaved off his eyebrows and is now letting them grow back in. If you are wondering why this 35-year-old, handy, well-traveled doctor is single, look no further than the fact that he has some sort of strange obsession with wolves. All of his former dogs were more than half wolf and he has a wolf tattoo. I feel like this would be a red flag for most women.
Jonathan, 31, Tickle Monster
I hope Jonathan knows he is likely going to be put on the sex offender registry after his stint on the Bachelorette for his occupation title alone. He is divorced and likes to listen to Britney Spears and Flo-Rida. He was on the Ellen date so he, by some miracle, made it past the first night.Â
Josiah, 28, Prosecuting Attorney
I hope Rachel has a thing for lawyers because ABC is really pushing them on her. Overall, Josiah seems like a good guy. Some things are better left unsaid though, like getting it on in his office at work.Â
Kenny, 35, Professional Wrestler
I was hoping Kenny was an actual wrestler, but I have come to the conclusion that he is a Nacho Libre-esque performance wrestler. I am willing to put money down that he will show up in a wrestling outfit on night one.Â
Kyle, 26, Marketing Consultant
I never want to hear this guy talk on television after reading his bio. These answers have gotten way too sexual for my taste. Kyle said his ex was into BDSM and he experimented with being a dom. Remember when I was shocked by the threesome answer? Things have escalated since then. He also doesnât know what gluten is but tries to avoid it anyway. That says a lot about who Kyle is, and itâs enough for me to know I donât want to know anything else about him.
Lee, 30, Singer/Songwriter
ABC needed to cross their Tâs and dot their Iâs. Personal trainer? Check. Approximately five lawyers? Check. Male model? Check. Singer/Songwriter? Check. Thank you Lee for fitting the latter demographic.
Lucas, 30, Whaboom
Lucas looks like Luke Pell if he was beaten with an ugly stick. Iâm not even going to make a comment on his profession. Lucas says he would want to have lunch with a dead Bruce Jenner and an alive Caitlyn Jenner. Iâm not sure if thatâs how transitioning works. The personâs former self just doesnât âdie.â I do agree, however, that it would make for an interesting convo. Bruce would ask, âhowâs everyone?â and Caitlyn would be like, âI ruined every relationship I had with our family. I hope thatâs cool.âÂ
Matt, 32, Construction Sales Rep
I dig this guy even if he does have basic music taste. He has worked with inner city kids, and if he could be anybody for a day, he would be Matt Lauer, which I think Rachel would like. The craziest place heâs had sex was on a balcony of a cruise ship. I remember when I was on a cruise and all I wanted to do was make out with someone on the sun deck. Sadly the only guy who wanted to make out with me had a girlfriend, which is a metaphor for my life.
Michael, 26, Former Professional Basketball Player
Michael was a basketball player on the european pro circuit and (likely) a current crossfitter. He follows a Paleo diet, which if you didnât know, is scientifically incorrect. Read up here, youngins. I forgot about the âformer professional athleteâ quota. I think we have reached our âstandard Bachelorette professionsâ requirements but we still have about 6 more unnecessary men left. ABC is wasting my time 2017.
Milton, 31, Hotel Recreation Supervisor
The first red flag was that Milton has a tattoo inside his bottom lip, which is only cool when youâre 16. He has lived four months without power, I assume because he didnât pay his bills (I could be wrong here.) He also wants to get âdiscoveredâ by being on this show. Last, but certainly not least, he thinks a man being romantic is emasculating. If god exists, this douche will get sent home on night one.
Mohit, 26, Product Manager
Mohit is a man of no limitations and does not let societyâs demands define him. In fact, he listens to both rap and country music. Yep, you heard that right. We are in the presence of a true trailblazer.
That sound terrifying. What if the Tabasco ends up in someoneâs private parts?!
Peter, 31, Business Owner
I see some grey hairs coming in, and I honestly dig it. Peter was on the Ellen date and my first impression of him was, âFuck, heâs hot.â Peter is a former model and has finished three ironmans. He was supposed to tell a âfunâ story about a one night stand but it honestly just sounded like he was date raped, so I didnât particularly find it âfun.â (Side note: Imagine FEMALE contestants answering these questions? America would burn them at the stake.) Also, Peter, being a professional football player is not easy. How would you like permanent brain damage from numerous concussions? Didnât think so.
Rob, 30, Law Student
Is is just me or does Rob look like Ryan Sutter? On the plus side, Rob said he has empathy, and most of the other men probably donât understand what that word even means. On the negative side, Rob seems like someone who talks endlessly about all his worldly travels. Gag.
Will, 28, Sales Manager
Will was another guy on Rachelâs Ellen date. I donât particularly find him attractive, but I enjoyed him on the group date and donât really have anything mean to say about his answers. Maybe he will grow on me.
Prediction Corner
We did it, fam. We made it through all 31 contestants. I took me a couple of days, but whatever. Whatâs done is done.
Now that we got to know the guys, here are my way-too-soon-to-know-if-any-of-this-is-true predictions.
P.S. If you tag me or comment any spoilers on my page, take a good, hard look at your life. Why do you like ruining things for other people? Get a therapist and figure out those internal issues. Thanks.Â
First Impression Rose: Bryan
First 1-on-1: DeMario
Final Rose:Â Fred
Future Bachelor: Alex. Or at least heâs going to become the hottest commodity to ever exist in Bachelor in Paradise. Low key want Ben to be The Bachelor again, though.
I am not going to defend any of these answers since I made them up at the top of my head.Â
So there you have it. What do you think of this seasonâs contestants? I donât think itâs possible that this season could be filled with more fuckboys than the last, so I will be entering Monday nightâs season premiere with a positive mindset.
What contestant do you like the best? I want to know.

ok iâm gonna do a post on the bachelorette bios under a read more bc its long as h*ck
Adam, 27, real estate agent. Gains points for listing his most embarrassing moment as telling his mom he was going on the bachelorette (submit an application for any reality show and you have answer to that question for the rest of you life) and immediately loses them for saying his favorite actor is âjennifer lawrence because sheâs every girlâs goalâ (three years ago this would have been true but not now my guy) and saying a threesome is the most romantic gift heâs ever received.
Alex, 28, information systems supervisor. Says the most outrageous thing heâs ever done is eat a live salamander (um?) and lists the rock as his favorite artist (um????). Also says the most romantic present heâs ever given is a car which was probably very awkward when the relationship ended.
Anthony, 26, education software manager. Describes emotional intelligence as one of his best attributes so if things donât work out with Rachel heâd be a great match for Taylor from Nickâs season. Also says that he has âvirtually no limits in the bedroom once the connection is thereâ and honestly its just weird that they asked some of them that question (like Iâd answer that question for the entire internet to read)
Blake E., 31, âAspiring Drummerâ says that the most outrageous thing hes ever done is get engaged to a âcrazy girlâ then calls himself a âclassic gentlemanâ two questions later. Also wants to watch the new 50 Shades movie because he loves âtaboo sexy stuffâ. Was engaged for 48 hours which is probably about 24 hours more than heâll last on the bachelorette. Hates when his date talks about her cats, so Taylor Swift is basically his worst nightmare. Also doesnât think parking ticket people have souls, which is honestly the most redeeming answer of the bunch.
Blake K, 29, U.S, Marine Veteran. Would want to be the Rock for a day because âheâs the only person who could look cool wearing a fanny packâ. Says that roses are his favorite flower, which Iâm 99% sure is a prerequisite to getting on the show. Says he wonât wrestle a crocodile or eat monkey brains for love, and mostly seems too normal for this show.
Brady, 29, Male Model. Says that tackling snowmen is something he does for fun in his hometown (um? fingers crossed he makes it to hometowns so we can see how exactly that works) and says Lululemon sweatpants are the most romantic gifts heâs ever received, which is slightly (okay a lot) more normal than threesome. Says the the Situation from Jersey Shore is the person he dislikes the most in the world, making me think about that show for the first time in at least three years. (Also, does he remined me a little bit of Robby from Jojoâs season appearance-wise?)
Bryce, 37, Chiropractor. Kind of looks like Chase from Jojoâs season (to me at least). Lists like seven things when asked for his three best attributes, so apparently has some trouble with numbers. Also says the Bachelor/Bachelorette is one of his favorite TV shows because heâs âfascinated by the interaction socially between a man and a womanâ (please no one watches this show for the love story, you watch for the drama and you know it) has also had balcony sex? (idk what to do with that information)
Bryce, 30, firefighter. All of his answers are oddly poetic? Describes himself as a âlaid back shot of gasoline when the fire starts to dieâ. Looking for someone with âeyes you could drown in and a smile that insults the sunâ. Says heâs âa fresh drink of water with a jolt of lightningâ. Iâd put money on him reading Rachel some 9th grade English poem the first night. Describes his dream job as a professional Instagrammer which heâs definitely in the right place for with all the Fittea and teeth whitening stuff everyone who goes on this show seems to sell.
Dean, 26, startup recruiter. Has a lip tattoo? (It says righteous, I know you were dying to know. Thinks marriage is an âinstitutionalized sham derived from religious beliefsâ so heâll fit in perfectly on a show where the end goal is getting engaged!
DeMario, 30, executive recruiter. Scores points for referencing Britney Spears not once but twice, saying he loves attention but not like 2007 Britney, like when she and Justin Timberlake wore those denim outfits. Wants to have a pet lion and name it âDenzel the lionâ, Doesnât have any phobias, which Iâm sure made the produces frown and cross his name off potential candidates for those dates they always have where they skydive or something and theyâre both really freaked out and have to comfort each other. Earns more points by saying that the most romantic gift heâs ever given is tickets to a Beyonce and Jay-Z concert.
Diggy, 31, senior inventory analyst. Spends Saturday nights trying to recover from day drinking (he and Corinne would get along great if Rachel doesnât pick him!) Once pretended to be asleep so he didnât have to help a girl find her brother after a one night stand.
Eric, 29, personal trainer. Rachel seems like she was digging him on the ATFR when she men some of her guys. If he could be anyone for a day, heâd be Tony Robbins, which is a name I had to Google and according to Wikipedia he is a   âMLM advocate, businessman, and authorâ. Says green juice is his favorite drink, so Iâm sure heâll be fine in the bachelor house where it seems like all they have to drink is champagne. Not to go all avril-lavigne-is-dead-and-was-replaced-by-a-clone conspiracy theorist but if he could go anywhere in the U.S. it would be New Orleans, which is where Rachel had her one-on-one with Nick.
Fred, 27, Executive Assistant. Admits to the entire Internet that he sometimes gets aroused at work. This isnât in his bio but in the preview for the season it says that he and Rachel went to elementary school together and he has apparently had a âlifelong fascinationâ with her ever since which is a lil weird to me. Like I doubt I could pick someone I went to elementary school with out of a lineup much less recognize them on TV nearly 20 years later.
Grant, 29, emergency medicine physician (!). Would like to be President of the United States for a day, which would honestly probably be better than Donald Trump (I mean, they have about the same amount of experience). Lists Playboy as his favorite magazine with a ;) face. Makes a lame âA see food diet. I see food I eat itâ when asked about eating habits, so Iâm expecting him to open with an equally lame joke when he meets Rachel.
Iggy, 30, Consulting Firm CEO. Idk if ABC made a typo or what, but if not he lists his best and worst attributes as the same traits (Truly a double edged sword). If stranded on a dessert island he would want it to be a banana float (haha) (Also thats a really stupid question anyway-ABC if you need someone else to write these Iâm available)
Jack Stone, 32, Attorney (!). First, why is his whole name on the website? Usually its just their last initial, and thatâs only if thereâs two people with the same name. Which isnât the case here so @ ABC wyd. Is an attorney like Rachel, and has been the only one so far smart enough to plead the fifth on the bedroom question. Two of his worst attributes are âhard on myself, anxiousâ which is very #relatable. Says tulips are his favorite flower because theyâre like roses without thorns.
Jamey, 32, Sales Account Executive. Answers the question âwhere do you see yourself in five yearsâ with âI am trying not to make plans right nowâ which is also very #relatable. I should bust that one out at my next job interview. Says his ideal mate looks like a model (we all wish) and responds âI do not have any female friendsâ to âdescribe your best friend of the opposite sex and why she/she deserves that titleâ.
Jedidiah, 35, ER Physician (!). Previously owned dogs that were over 1/2 wolf, which is slightly terrifying. Likes wild flowers that grow above high altitudes. Has had sex on a glacier which just sounds like a bad idea, frostbite and all that. Likes nice pens (donât we all), clashing slightly with his outdoorsy image.
Jonathan, 31, âTickle Monsterâ. Anyone identifying themselves as a tickle monster would be cut immediately if I were Rachel. They wouldnât even make it inside the mansion. I hate being tickled. Formerly sported a mullet. Says his favorite flower right now is a red rose (*rolls eyes*). Previously married, which the producers are probably going to bring up at every given opportunity. Lists Britney Spears as one of his favorite music artists, which still doesnât even begin to make up for the tickling thing.
Josiah, 28, Prosecuting Attorney (!). Has had sex in his office, so hopefully he didnât tell his employer he was going on the show, and if he did, hopefully they donât find this. Was once catfished, so perhaps heâs on the wrong show anyway. Perhaps Nev and Max can participate in a group date giving tips on how not to get catfished.
Kenny, 35, professional wrestler. Spends his Saturday nights either âwrestling in his underwear in front of thousands of people or with his daughterâ. Has a daughter, which the producers will also probably bring up at every given opportunity because exploiting children is always fun! Says he was âquick draw Mcgrawâ when he first started dating his ex. Has had sex with a wife while her husband watched, which sounds like more Unreal than Bachelorette territory tbh.
Kyle, 26, marketing consultant. Generally doesnât trust people and dislikes corrupt authority, and respects Ed Snowden. Probably has a Bernie 2016 sticker on his car. doesnât know what gluten is but eats gluten free when he can. Describes his ideal mate as 7+ and says BDSM was weird because he doesnât like hurting people.
Lee, 30, Singer/Songwriter. Would want to learn to make booze if stranded on a deserted island. Considers himself a romantic. Also seems too normal for this show (aside from the career) and will probably be gone the first night.
Lucas, 30, âWhaboomâ I googled it and couldnât find an answer as to what âWhaboomâ even means so weâre off to a great start. When asked who he would have lunch with out of everyone in the world, replies â Dead: Bruce Jenner, Alive: Caitlyn Jennerâ *cringes* would want the cast of the View with him on a deserted island which is pretty smart actually because theyâd probably wind up killing each other and he could establish himself as the apex predator. Enjoys a âgood old bump and grindâ when it comes to dancing. Lists going to funeral as one of his least favorite date activities, which makes me question his dating history history. I feel like heâll be the villain.
Matt, 32, Construction Sales Rep. Describes lingerie as the most romantic gift heâs ever given saying âI knew I was in love once I found myself shopping at Victoria Secretâ #justlikethenotebook. Describes a tinder date as his worst dating memory. Has had sex on a cruise ship balcony. Despite that is probably still too normal for the show and will probably be eliminated quickly.
Michael, 26, Former professional basketball player, which is less impressive when you keep reading and find out it was in Bulgaria. Would want to have lunch with Obama. One of his worst date fears is one of his friends hooking up with his date in the past which should make fantasy suites fun should he make it that far. Also like the fifth guy to name Denzel Washington as his favorite actor.
Milton, 31, Hotel recreation supervisor. Has a lip tattoo. Is oddly upfront about not being on the show for the âright reasonsâ. He says he wants to be discovered and break into acting or writing. (At least try to lie and say youâre here for love my guy). Describes himself as only âkindaâ romantic because he thinks it can show youâre weak.
Mohit, 26, Product manager. Says he is going to dress up as gluten for Halloween. Good luck with that. Likes country music. Has used Tabasco sauce in the bedroom which just sounds like a bad idea (honestly what do yall get up to where you need condiments). Is like the third person to say he admires Elon Musk.
Peter, 31, business owner. Once thought he got abducted after a one night stand. Likes modern family. Seems normal. Also cute. Iâve been trying to dodge spoilers but a few have slipped through the cracks and I must say...
Rob, 30, law student. Would want to have lunch with Buddha. Would want to be able to control time. Also seems normal. Will probably be eliminated quickly.
Will, 28, Sales Manager. Considers himself a romantic. Describes every tinder date heâs ever been on as his worst dating experience. Hates being a second choice, so hopefully he doesnât wind up like Nick as runner up twice.
So overall it seems like thereâs a lot more diversity this season, which is great to see! its also cool that that most of the men are closer to Rachelâs age compared to last season when some of the girls were literally 10 years younger than nick. And since i havenât read spoilers, i guess iâll pick a few faves based on bios alone: Peter, Eric, DeMario, Jack stone thats probably way off im bad at stuff like that
See yall the 22nd!

100 Questions and Answers
@dmdollâ This is for you :)

Not a big fruit guy but I don't mind Apples. 15) Have you talked to anyone on tumblr that you could see yourself dating/having sex with? If possible? Not really to be honest. I donât think Iâve struck a romantic chord with anyone but rather friendships or just casual acquaintances really. That said I wouldnât mind dating a fellow Tumblr user if possible. 16) Are you into hookups? Short or long term relationships? I've never been in this field before so I can't really say. Ideally I think I'd like a long term healthy relationship but again I can't say that I've ever thought about it too hard as I have never been in romantic relationship with anyone before. 17) Do you smoke? 84) How do you feel about porn? Nothing wrong with it really in my eyes especially as I own Caligula on DVD. Just don't shove it in the face in those who are uncomfortable about it and let them discover things themselves.

87) Do you want/have kids? I wouldn't mind (and as the only male member in my family, it would be nice to keep my last name alive)
88) Has anyone ever told you that they wanted to marry you? Nope. Besides from playing house at a really young age.
89) Do you get easily distracted? Yes but I can easily get back into things.
90) Ass or titties? Personality rulez! (Nothing wrong with tits/boobs/breasts/whatever you wish to call them though, not an assman myself as I am constantly reminded poop comes from there)
91) What is your favorite word? As immature as it sounds, something draws me to the word Cunt. It's easy to say yet some people are offended by it but some people use as a term of endearment. It's always perplexed me.
92) How do you feel about tattoos? Go for it. I like them. I wouldn't go overboard though really. Perhaps a sleeve or at least one tattoo but no facial stuff. That kinda puts me off.
93) What are some of your favorite films? I love horror and comedy. Some of my favourite films are Natural Born Killers, Faces of Death, BASEketball, Cannibal! The Musical, REPO! 95) How old are you? I am 18 years old.
96) 3 physical features you get complimented on a lot? My hair grows back really fast and thick My teeth are a lot straighter thanks to my ongoing brace treatments I am taller than a lot of my family members.
97) Is there anything you're really passionate about? I'd love to make A film one day. Whether it is a short film, a music video or just a project with friends. I would like to make ONE film.
98) Do you have trust issues? I've had my trust broken a lot in my life as cliched as it sounds so I've learned to wisely pick my friends and that forgive/forget stuff.
99) Do you believe in love at first sight? Yes I'm certain that It happens all the time (sorry couldn't resist) I think it's possible but I think personality can be a deal maker and breaker when it comes to building relationships as you can get incredibly attractive people but who are just the biggest pieces of shit.
100) What are some words that you live by? Why? "All I've undergone, I will keep on." That little mantra from The Way Out Is Through has haunted me but it perfect sums up quite a lot of life. Sometimes you encounter shit and you have to wade through the pool of shit in order to reach the chocolate fountain of good at the end of the shit creek. That's a less poetic way of thinking about it but it's still true.

Summer Gear for Dogs Who Love the Great Outdoors
Summer is the time for ultimate outdoor fun, but itâs also the time to put safety, comfort and convenience first when youâre taking your best furry friend on adventures with you. Hereâs some must-have summer gear to take the seasonâs fun to the next level.
Water dog gear
Get the Surf and Turf Life Vest at kurgo.com.
The Float Coat by Ruffwear makes water activities just about worry-proof, whether youâre rafting, kayaking, boating, surfing or enjoying a day at the beach. This doggie life jacket has a strong handle for pulling your dog out of the water and reflective trim for enhanced visibility. It comes in three eye-catching colors.
Kurgoâs Surf and Turf Life Vest keeps Fidoâs water play safe â and its floatation layer can be removed to expose an underlayer that doubles as a raincoat for those pesky summer storms. It also features a tough handle and D-rings for leash attachment.
For playtime, Ruffwear has a new toy called Gnawt-a-Stick, inspired by Oregon coastal driftwood, a favorite for fetching among dogs in that area. This stick-like toy comes in bright colors, floats, bounces and is chew-resistant plus easy to retrieve.
On-the-go dog gear
Find the Tres Cool Wicker Tagalong Pet Bicycle Basket at petsafe.com.
Thereâs no reason to leave your dog home when you go biking this summer. For small dogs up to 13 pounds, Pet Safeâs Solvit has introduced the Tres Cool Wicker Tagalong Pet Bicycle Basket. The rattan construction gives the basket a cute retro feel and includes a sun shade to keep Fifi cool. Itâs easy to mount and comes off your bicycle in seconds.
Head over to petsafe.com to find the Houndabout Bicycle Trailer.
Solvit has also launched its new Houndabout Bicycle Trailer, which can also be used as a stroller or jogger. Itâs great for dogs with mobility issues or those who simply would rather ride along than walk or hike.
The Pet Dinette & Leash is a great find at sitstaygoco.com.
Speaking of walking and hiking, another new product, The Pet Dinette & Leash from Sit Stay Go, is an all-in-one lead that allows you to pack poop bags, keys, cell phone, treats, dog food and water into a convenient modular, hand-held system so you have everything your dog needs for a day out, including food and water bowls.
Designed specifically for water use, the Chuck-It series of floating toys from Petmate come in a variety of sizes and shapes. Bionicâs durable toys also float, and the bright-orange color makes them easy to see. Kongâs Wet Wubba toy is also a summer fave.
Dog gear to keep your pup cool
Go to ruffwear.com to find the Jet Stream cooling vest.
Dogs can get sunburned, just like we do. The lightweight stretch jersey on Gold Paw Seriesâ Sun Shield Tee boasts a USP 50 rating that blocks 98 percent of the sunâs UV rays. Sun protection is a must, especially for short-coated breeds and those with light-colored noses. It also helps to minimize heat absorption.
Sun protection for canine eyes is critical, too. Doggles makes fashionable and practical goggles and sunglasses that cut the UV rays entering your dogâs eyes.
Check out the Core Cooling Vest on kurgo.com.
Cooling vests are a must-have for long days hiking, playing fetch or at the beach or lake in the summer sun. The Jet Stream and Swamp Cooler from Ruffwear, the Core Cooling Vest from Kurgo and the Hurtta Cooling Dog Vest all work using evaporation technology. The Dry Cooling Vest from Suitical keeps your dog cool without becoming damp or wet during use and functions simply by filling the vest with water.
Whether you live in the urban jungle, in hiking country or near the hot shores of southern beaches, your dogâs paws can become irritated, and even burned, by broiling sidewalks, sand and rocks. Musherâs Secret paw pad wax â used in winter to keep salt and ice off â works great to protect against summer heat, too.
Whatever your chosen summer activity, there are many water-friendly and beat-the-heat products to keep it safe and fun for your poolside pooch.
